Summary
Apple wakes up one morning to find the day seemingly like every other. Only her morning visit with her mother is cut short when a messenger bursts into the room out of breath. There's dark magic polluting the ground and water of one of the towns in her kingdom and now Darling and her have to figure out why. What they find is something they never would have fathomed.
This fic takes place well after everyone's graduated from Ever After High and are now well into their destinies! Except, maybe their destinies aren't quite what they seem.

Apple had never considered herself someone who was against the narrative. At least, not until she was 13 years old and the adults in her life began more heavily insinuating that Daring and her were a cute couple. Something about that always put her… off. So to speak.
