Blue Diamond falls into a state of grief and depression upon believing her dear Pink Diamond had been shattered. All of Homeworld had to feel her pain, her sorrow and her grief over the loss of Pink. Homeworld suffered a prolonged blue morning period and Blue Diamond was in no state to perform her duties.
Blue diamond was fixated on Pink Diamond's legacy, a functionless human zoo, the destroyed palanquin and of course Earth the planet bestowed to Pink in the first place. She decides to retreat to Earth, the place where it all happened, to bask herself Earth's wonders. To finally see through Pink's eyes and understand how she loved anything no matter how insignificant Blue and the rest of the Diamonds saw it as. Perhaps, a change in scenery might sooth her broken heart or maybe you're the reason her thousands of years of heartbreak have come to a close.
