‘Might have known it would be this lot,’ Farah sighs, as she straightens out the body. G’raha bends to assist. Whatever life he’d known in the past, he hadn’t shied from the fouler work that fell to the Ironworks crew - and that was just as well.
In the 8th Umbral Era, attacks on the Ironworks are frequent...but one raiding party in particular earns G'raha's attention.

Summary
Two hundred years after the Eighth Umbral Calamity devastated the world, what remains of Garlond Ironworks is doing what they can to enact their founder's final wish: Find a way to fix it. Part of that involves opening the Crystal Tower, though they aren't sure why or what they'll find inside. What they do find is beyond their wildest imaginings - a young Miqo'te man, held in stasis at the heart of the Tower, who claims to have been a member of the original expedition team. What follows is a mad scramble to finish Cid Garlond's master plan before the last remnants of civilization crumble completely. And to do that, they're going to have to convince G'raha Tia to help them.
This story will explore the character shift from the brash young G'raha that locked himself up, to the quiet, stoic Crystal Exarch that led the Crystarium. Where did his bluster and bravado go? What was it that made him so singularly devoted to the cause of saving the First? And why does he always describe his memories of the alternate future as "painful"?

Summary
“It’s all worth it, ye know,” Biggs says as G’raha nearly jogs to keep up with the taller pair. A moment of uneasy quiet falls outside, and he listens to the echo of all three of their footsteps in the hallway.
“What is?” G’raha asks when the manor’s back door comes into view.
“Chasin’ down the book. Sendin’ ye off,” he says. “I could die happy knowing someone like her is still around. The woman from the stories. It’s all we’ve ever worked toward. And it’s worth it.”
G'raha Tia wakes to a world in ruin, and with the help of the remnants of the Garlond Ironworks, must find a way to conquer the impossible.

Summary
A collection of short fics I wrote for FFxivWrite2022 because I somehow managed to get through it a second time.
As these fics can vary greatly in subject matter, each chapter summary includes [Patch] and [Relationships involved] and a more or less MSQ spoiler free description of the piece to aid in reading. I also included relevant dictionary entries of each word or phrase used as prompts.

Summary
He laughed, a dark, hiccupping sound of the brief moment of hysteria he allowed himself. ‘Why did you wake me?’ he asked, rubbing his hands over his eyes. ‘Why would you wake me up to this?’
There is no advanced magical technology to rival that of the Allagan civilisation. There is no civilisation at all.
Two hundred years after he sealed himself away in the Crystal Tower, G'raha Tia awakes to a world ravaged by calamity. Though he had long thought he had said his final farewell to his dearest friend, his inspiration, his lover, he finds himself with one goal in mind. To save him. To bring back to Warrior of Light.
