It had been 37 Barish-Estranza standard corporate cycles since I’d stepped foot into the airlock of a Barish-Estranza ship. It wasn’t the one I was originally assigned to, but the layouts and design across the fleet were identical.
I knew where to go, just like how I knew that this hallway should be well traveled. There were no humans in sight; the area of the ship must have been in partial lockdown. I’d been flagged as a potential threat.

The further adventures of the B-E SecUnits glimpsed in System Collapse. A love story. And a daring escape. And some meandering about Barish-Estranza office politics. But mainly a love story.
