Summary

Prompt: Having known Aurora for essentially the length of a song, Philip doesn't have a lot of material to base his knowledge of his wife upon. All he really knows is that despite being protected by not one, not two, but three magical beings, she was foiled by a pretty light.
So when the two of them are attacked on one of their rare outings out alone together in the woods where they met, the unarmed Philip throws himself in front of what he assumes is his weak, fragile wife. Aurora pushes him aside and decimates their attacker with her bare hands. She was, after all, in constant danger her entire life, raised by three pretty bad ass chicks who wanted her to rely on more than their magic to protect herself, and had nothing better to do than to train. Maleficent may have discovered her weakness for shiny things, but had she tried to fight her one on one, the outcome would have been drastically different.
