Summary
Three years after their painful break-up, Alec is incapable of moving on from Magnus. When Magnus reports Lorenzo Rey as missing, the two of them are forced to work together. Their search leads them to an ancient box with mysterious origins. One thing they do know: the box traps anyone who touches it inside, unable to escape.
When an unfortunate series of events leads to Alec and Magnus being imprisoned in the box together, they're no longer able to escape from the pain of their shared past. They must confront the circumstances that led to their break-up in the first place, whether they like it or not.
