I wrote this for Whumptober 2025, specifically day 13’s prompts Never Enough and Insignia, and I must say I’m rather proud of it. I do hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
(Note: this was written and posted on my phone, so the formatting may look a little awkward if you are reading on a computer. I do apologise.)

Summary
Crowley had dreamed of redemption, of somehow crawling out of the pit towards the light, of receiving her forgiveness and being reinstated as an angel. He spent a long time there, broken prayers leaving his mouth and surely never reaching Heaven, before he gave up on the idea that he was redeemable.
This was an idea reinforced by almost every demon he met ; Lucifer, Beelzebub, Hester - from every low-level demon to all the high-level ones, that permeating confidence in such a simple conclusion. Of course Crowley believed it - it was just one fact in a growing list of new facts meant to patch the gaping hole left in his sense of self. He was a demon, he’d fallen from God’s grace, he was unforgivable and certainly irredeemable.

Summary
Crowley had just paused for a moment to admire a rather stylish villa — and to contemplate whether Dagon might let him get away with calling such a purchase a business expense — when a man rushed out the front door, dropped to his knees directly in front of Crowley, and exclaimed, “Oh, great Doctor, you honor us with your presence!”
Crowley stared, baffled, at the top of the man’s head. “Um,” he said, “I think you have the wrong person.”

Summary
Everytime he returned, Crowley noticed something different. It was small details, like the placement of a coffee table or an armchair being moved, but it was all those small little details that betrayed the sanctity of the location. It was books being sold, albeit not many, but far more than ever would’ve been before. Slowly, the place was becoming less and less of the bookshop Crowley remembered.
He would enter just to absorb the atmosphere, and then mourn all the ways in which the atmosphere was different. Gone was the gentle, homely warmth and it was replaced with an unnatural, holy cleanliness that seemed so wrong in the bookshop.

Summary
Magic is hard, not least because of all the ingredients required for potions and spells. How is a witch supposed to gather fresh bat’s drool or scorpion’s venom? Luckily, Anathema’s familiar Crowley is a shapeshifter willing to help her get some of those, even the secret ingredients. However, one time a spell backfires, forcing them to question some of the ingredients…

Summary
Friendship starts with a co-op invite in Fields of Mistria.
Alfie doesn’t know the boy behind the screen, just that he’s loud, funny, weirdly good at virtual farming, and kind of impossible to stop thinking about. He definitely doesn’t expect him to be the guy sitting next to him in English Lit.
Now there’s awkward glances, game nights that run too late, a lot of flirting disguised as trash talk, and maybe something more growing, both in-game and in real life.
(Songs mentioned: Everyone adores you, I only have eyes for you.) -

Summary
Crowley wanders into a conversation after a meeting in Hell. A succubus is telling stories about her previous night’s work on Earth, and the rest of the various sex demons are swapping their own tales. Crowley shares his flask of whiskey around and talks about stuff he’s seen around soho (reconnaissance missions to spy on that angel, you know) and they all vaguely marvel about the weirdness of humans.

Jon dies at the end of episode 200, as if that wasn’t already known. Jon wakes up in his bed, memories of everything. The kicker: He has no physical scars, he probably has all his ribs, and when he goes to work all of his coworkers are still there.
Can he stop things? Can he become closer with his coworkers faster? Will that help things? Maybe if he didn’t shut them out, they would have survived. Only to what…? Die the same way he did?
Jon thinks about it. Things will be different this time.
