Summary
Skybound (adjective): confined to the sky.
After ten years living abroad, sterling aviator Gojo Satoru returns to Japan for a short visit amid the demands of his busy career. Still, what starts as a summer holiday morphs into something different when Satoru realizes the pilot who is flying him home is his old childhood friend and sweetheart, Getou Suguru.
Suguru is a pilot who can’t fly, stagnant in his career. He has sabotaged his family business, the Sato Aero Club, on the brink of bankruptcy. Self-stuck by his own fears, Suguru has resigned to a quiet life as ground crew until he gets the chance to fly a very special passenger.
OR, Suguru Geto and Satoru Gojo are two kids who are as in love with aviation as with each other, and make a promise: one day, when they grow up, they will become pilots and soar the skies together.
Yet, crosswinds of life are daunting and may drift apart even the strongest aviators so when fate reunites them after years apart, will they be able to learn how to fly side by side again?

Summary
captain satoru gojo is the most infuriating pilot you've ever had the displeasure of guiding through tokyo's airspace. for months, he's turned every radio call into an opportunity to flirt, compliment your voice, and generally make your work life insufferable. you've never seen his face, but you're convinced he's exactly the kind of arrogant pilot you never want to deal with outside work. if only your heart would stop racing when you hear his voice.

Summary
They say you never forget your first love.
What they don’t tell you is that if you’re a coward, you also never forgive yourself for it.
Satoru lived a life people dream about. He has kissed trophies, gripped steering wheels at 300 kilometers an hour, had champagne poured on my head like he won something more than a race. But none of it ever felt like winning.
Because he lost him. Suguru Geto—childhood best friend, first love, first heartbreak, and the ghost he can’t stop running from.
He’s everywhere now. Billboards, playlists, the way-too-cool t-shirts worn by teenagers who think his voice speaks for their broken hearts. And maybe it does. He always had a way with words. But he used to save those words for Satoru. Just Satoru
Now he sings to the whole world.
And Satoru hates how much he still hopes one of those songs is about him.
He shouldn’t. He is married. He made his choices. He buried everything tey had the day he let go of his hand and told him he couldn’t do it anymore. Couldn’t be with him. Couldn’t handle the stares, the whispers, the weight of being two boys in love when the world wasn't ready.
And the world still isn’t ready. Or maybe he is not.
