Adrenaline coursed through the driver's body as not really panic nor fear, but complete confusion washed over him. “What the fuck.” He said again with a louder voice.

Or that one time travel fic where nine Formula 1 drivers from 2012 end up in 2021 after the Monaco Grand Prix. Plus, I just needed some Brocedes and Michael Schumacher content with angst and reconciliation. And maybe a bit more surprises to come.
I love time travel fics, but this fandom doesn't have many of them. This story is inspired by We Meet Again by lucsf1 as I got tired of waiting.

He tried to escape his friend’s grasp and move past him towards the hotel in a hurry, knowing that he’d give away his current state if he stayed even a minute longer. His rapid movements however, were a bad idea. Black dots appeared in his vision, and without Charles’ hands steadying him just a second later he would have fainted right there.
“Let’s get you up to your hotel room, alright?”
Or: Pierre wakes up the day after the Monaco 2022 GP feeling ill, Charles notices after a conference and jumps into action to care for him.
