As Rohama’s hands met the cold metal-grated floor, she’s thinking that maybe the flashing red lights were a poor choice for an alarm that meant run. “Shit, shit, shit.” She pulled herself up and kept running.
The ship was almost empty now. Rohama’s bag thumped guiltily against her back. Over the thumping rose another sound, frantic footfalls from the hallway behind. Rohama slowed. “...Yu?” she wonders.
