Summary
Acquiring Yin Yan was one of the few good things that happened to Airplane since his transmigration. No amount of stories that talked about the bond between weapon and cultivator could’ve prepared Airplane for how attuned he was to the blade. Yin Yan hummed by his side when he was anxious, was still and quiet when he was working through difficult plot points and system assigned missions to the point it felt more like a companion than a tool.
The figure in front of him had been born from the sheath resting against Shang Qinghua's hip and felt just as familiar as the blade he bonded to.
“Yin Yan?” Airplane asked, his voice barely a whisper.
The weapon smiled and nodded as it placed a hand on Airplane’s shoulder and gave a light squeeze, the same thing Airplane did to Yin Yan’s hilt to reassure himself he wasn’t alone.
Holy shit. Yin Yan had a human form.
Or: Airplane gets his spiritual sword, it shapeshifts into a human, Mobei Jun is intrigued but also concerned about his lack of knowledge on the subject, and the System awards points.
