Steve Arthur Harrington sits in the dining room of the RMS Titanic. Around the table are his parents, his fiancée, Thomasina Thompson, and several more acquaintances his father has made on the journey. The chatter makes his ears ring, and suddenly it strikes him how banal it all is. He sees his whole life as it would be - an endless parade of parties, political negotiations, and polo matches.
Citing the need for fresh air, Steve excuses himself from the table and walks towards the doors, a perfect picture of calm.
But once he's outside, he runs.

On the grand RMS Titanic, two very different men find themselves caught in a whirlwind of fate. Lucifer Morningstar, a wealthy and charming first class passenger, seems to have it all- except for a gnawing sense of emptiness that no amount of luxury can fill. Down below in third class- Alastor is a wild, free spirited man with a love for entertainment and life, despite his lower status.
Their worlds couldn't be more different, but when Lucifers world starts to shatter, he wishes for a miracle, only to be sent a third class radio host with nothing to offer except a new perspective.
As their unlikely friendship unexpectedly blossoms into something more, they have to face the harsh reality of the world they live in, and unknowingly- the ship's tragic fate.
