This does not have any connection to the actual Netflix show except I take the name Darkcom and Lady is a part of that organization. The characters are based on the game characters, and the plot of this part is loosely inspired by the manga. I will go more into the philosophy of this story in the notes)

The first thing Toni registered about the male looking uncertainly between the glowing neon signs around them and a worn looking piece of paper in his hands were his eyes-lustrous and alluring-framed by soft lashes, evenly tanned skin and earthy brown hair. Toni usually wasn’t one to stare, but she found it hard to look away when those eyes met her own icy-blue ones.
“Oh…is it that obvious?” A laugh. Small, a tad insecure and alarmingly disarming to hear. Toni’s frown became a bit more prominent, feeling an uncomfortable twinge of emotion in her chest while he looked at her.
“You look like a lost puppy.” she snarked a moment later, hiding her discomfort with an easygoing grin.
The male blushed. And Toni’s heart did…something.

Chris held his ground amusing Virgil, who tilted her head, a demonic aura flaring. "And just what, pray tell, am I to gain from this little arrangement?" she asked.
Despite his fear, he did not cower nor beg, surprising her.
Virgil's curiosity was piqued by Chris' bold response, "Whatever you want.".
"You said it yourself. Those things out there are nothing for someone like you. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to help my comrades."
The image of a woman with golden hair and similarly determined yet gentle hazel eyes plagued Virgil's mind, overlaying itself upon Chris's face. She falters. Assuring herself that it would not take long.
"Then I will take what is owed to me after this night, Mr. Redfield."
