The Watchers were a huge name in Hollywood, a family completely made up of famous directors and movie stars.
Every year, the Watcher’s held a huge banquet, full of the biggest names at the time. All in all, It was a BIG DEAL.

Tommy stared at the tickets.
They were official invitations to the Watcher family’s annual banquet. One of, if not the, biggest and most exclusive parties in modern day. Get into just one of the parties, and you would walk away with connections and media attention that had you set for life. One of these invites could make or break your career.

Tommy gets invited to the biggest hollywood party of the year. Obviously because the Watchers have recognized the rising stars talent. (Not at all because the four movie stars that think he's perfect for their family, no of course not)
Tommy is finally happy. He has fame and fortune, and his friends at his side. What more can he want?
(It doesn't matter that his parents don't want him for anything other than his fame)So when the Crafts, another famous family of actors, start treating him like family, why does it feel like coming home?

Tommy was born for the spotlight.
It was in his blood, his father was a well-known director throughout Hollywood. Great movies like The Chasing of Elwood Skillet, and inspirational documentaries over the tragic murder of James Canopy. All in his father’s creation, the man was cherished by the nation for his great deeds, Oscars and Academy Awards lined his walls.
And Tommy was following right in his footsteps, making his way to becoming Hollywood history. Known for his breathtaking acting at such a young age and long list of box office hits.
So when Tommy gets casted to work with his idol, the infamous Wilbur Craft, he’s ecstatic. He means, what could go wrong after all?

"Because you never listen!" Tommy laughs, low and angry. Ranboo thinks that he's been falling for a while now, and if this is all Tommy will deal them, he'll gladly take it. "You chose us, and you keep us here and you never fucking come back! Who's it gonna be next, huh? After you're done playing with Ranboo?"
Phil's eyes narrow. "Tommy, you're being immature. Foster care is not a permanent thing, you know that-"
"Then let me leave! I don't- I can't-" Tommy cuts off, chest heaving. When he speaks again, it's steady and slow, the same tone he used when speaking with Ranboo all those mornings ago. Ranboo cringes at the thought that Tommy had been this angry whenever he interacted with him. "I am fine. I have been fine without you for quite some time now, Phil, so don't think you're doing me this glorious favor by keeping me here. You don't get to just keep stringing me along and leaving at every shiny new troubled kid that comes through your door. Either sign the fucking adoption papers or let. Me. Leave."
"I'm leaving. I'll wait out the fucking deadline, and then you'll never hear from me again."

Tommy smiled as he pet the kitten laying on his chest, he had one hand underneath his head and the other gently petting the purring kitten, who was then joined by a second kitten… and a third… and then a forth… and then there was an adult cat, maybe the momma cat, laying on his lower stomach, and he could see Purpled taking pictures out of the corner of his eye. Which was fair, since Tommy had been taking pictures of his friends all morning.
“You know, you’re a pretty alright kid,” Niki said quietly, Tommy blinked, looking over towards her as she sat nearby. She had two cats curled up together in her lap, and she was gently petting them.
“I try, sometimes.” Tommy responded, shrugging as carefully as he could. A fifth kitten joined the pile, courtesy of Purpled, who was ignoring Niki for the moment. Tommy flinched slightly when a paw smacked him in the face. “Hey, that’s not fair!” Tommy laughed lightly. He got smacked by the kitten two more times, with Purpled taking pictures and Tubbo and Ranboo laughing at him. Even Niki was laughing quietly at him.
