Summary
“Listen, kid. This is a job offer. We’ve got to get that fish back! If I know those rascally Octarians –and I do, trust you me– they’re not gonna hand it back polite-like! We –and by we I mean you– are gonna give ‘em what for, y’hear?”
Hatahata hesitated. ‘Job offer’ had caught their ear and held on tight, even if they had a fairly good idea that this absolutely did not fall into the same category as their previous experiences. This sounded better than ringing up crap behind the Hotlantis counter, though.
“I could, uh,” they hazarded, “take an interview, I guess.”
