Sam raises a trembling hand to his face, trailing it towards the pools of inky darkness where his eyes should be, shifting and swirling with depth like a nest of shadows. The sight of it is so—so monstrous, so wrong, and Sam can’t even recognise himself in it.
This can’t—this can’t be real.
As he stares at the monster wearing his face, not even daring to blink, the darkness leaks out of his eyes, leaving their normal hazel. But even in the absence of that otherworldly blackness, he can still see it, the monster, lurking behind a young face and innocent eyes.
Sam's powers manifest earlier. John doesn't take too kindly to it.

Hex bags are EVERYWHERE, including in BABY, which especially pisses Dean off. But they can’t seem to track the coven down, themselves, despite the fact that the coven seems to know every move they make, so they turn to Neave for a tracking spell. Neave delivers, but when the go to perform the spell, something goes awry with the magic and the three of them suddenly find themselves in their TEENAGED BODIES. It’s like the fountain of youth—but it puts them all in even more danger than before. Doesn’t stop Dean and Cas from ABSOLUTELY exploiting the situation, though, as they wait for the next full moon to reverse the spell’s effects.
