    Things I love:
    -Announcing "Captain on the Bridge". It was too formal for Picard on Next Generation, but it's just *right* when it's glorious Kate Mulgrew striding with dramatic flair (if VOY was a stage play the audience would use it as a cue for applause)
    -loose flux capacitor

      Oooh, so google is telling me that this is a quote from Dune? Funny, I saw it in theaters right around the time I was posting this story, but I didn't pick up on it--even though I had dreams on the brain.

      Haha, glad you liked these touches. I have a vague recollection of Tuvok announcing her like that once or twice in the early seasons, and I liked the idea so much I included it. He's kind of a stickler, so it feels in character, and she sure knows how to make an entrance...
