    first of all, i’m really glad you enjoyed this fic! thank u so much!
    jean’s frustration is really central to the fic and kind of where the whole idea of the fic began in the first place. originally there wasn’t going to be the whole bit w staying with kim but it happened as the fic gained a life of its own!! jean is definitely just completely overwhelmed by finally getting out of martinaise and dealing with harry again and also tired as fuckkk lol

      Jean loved him.
      Sent to the sidelines,
      forgotten on the bench.
      A loyal friend to a vision
      of a man, lost to beer.

       

      A baby sent to Hell.
      A saint saves him as he fell,
      and flies up a stairwell.

       

      Harry wakes up, fear
      locks him in a mental prison.
      His fists clench, then unclench,
      since Kim says, “You'll be fine.”
      Kim loves him.
