Aww, thank you, and I'm sorry... it is sad, and I went back at forth about how much to warn people that it's gonna be tragic... But for what it's worth, I do think their time together was still beautiful and meaningful, even if it was cut short. They both grew so much as a result of being together. And they do meet again as in the canon when they (and especially Lucifer) have come to grow even more. I imagine they make up and actually have a deep bond (whether or not they end up as a couple), in part because they have this shared experience of finding themselves together when they were young. They know each other really well.
Maybe I will write a fic about that eventually... actually I can sorta see how it would go... Anyways, I don't know if any of that is helpful, but I do really appreciate your reading and commenting! It means a lot! ❤
