        However it's nice to see Maxi in other characters' POV. Because she is so insecure and think lowly about herself throughout the main story. So it's kinda enlighting to know other women will be jealous of her as well.

          I always read it as Miriam doesn't truly hate Maxi, she just kinda rubs her the wrong way since Maxi is clueless nobility. That, and Roy had the habit of destroying Miriam's workspace, so it's understandable that the two clash.
          Anyways, the main point is that everyone has insecurities, it's just a matter of how they manifest.
