That's awesome news! Thanks for answering so quickly lol, and do take your time if you feel like it. As I said, didn't know how to phrase it without it sounding like I was pressuring you, I just wanted to know because, well, I really liked this one!
It feels really angsty, but at the same time, sooooo heartwarming to see Arven interact with his parents! I live for that fluff after the angst. I've read most fanfics (at least the ones that seem interesting to me) tagged with either Sada or IA Sada here, and this is the one I always come back to (even if it only has 2 chapters) because it just feels so gritty the way Arven breaks down, specially with his mom.
I swear, they did him dirty in SV. Like, I actually felt cheated at the end of the game. C'mon, give the dude a break! So not only Turo (I played Scarlet) walked out, but then Sada kinda just abandoned him, only to die and be left with a copy of his mom that went Terminator on him? And in the end she does an Heroic Sacrifice and "We always loved you, really, but I'm going adventuring to the past, adios!"? And in the end, he just seems kinda depressed and... that's it?!
Like, that KID is going to need soooo much teraphy after everything. Heck, he needed one at the start of the game! There was so much potential there! You have a time machine, go save the mom! Or the IA! Or both! Or neither, and just give him an arc to process everything! I don't know, it's a kids game, at least give him a happy ending!
AND AGAIN, THIS IS A GAME FOR KIDS! I've missed the last entries, but up until Diamond/Pearl the games didn't have these themes (parental neglectment, bullying). And while I love that now they do have it, I just feel that they just wasted a lot of potential with this one, at least with Arven...
Anyway, sorry, rant over xD
TL;DR Thanks for answering fast! And writing this story, it's one of my favourites! Do take whatever time you deem necessary though! And Gamefreak dropped the ball with the whole Arven plotline. A lot. And I'm super salty about it :v
