Although I would think someone steals the jaeger blueprints and a new monster comes and tries to kill the terrorists in the stolen jaeger. Although being Newt, Newt finds out that the new monster takes the powers and flaws of what it has killed. Meaning this larger-than-Kaiju monster would be even stronger. The PPDC would then have to save the rogue Jaeger without letting it escape.
