!!!!!! Ok I'll try not to just like, summarize the entire chapter by listing everything that touched me, but!!! It's so gratifying to read about other lesbians just being lesbians? This fic makes me so happy, I feel like I could float away. The romantic phone call does make tinder and bumble significantly less exciting, following the unspoken rules of messaging seems so much less lovely and personal than talking over the phone? I need to slow down and savor this fic, but I can tell this is going to be something I come back to and reread. ..Maybe just one more chapter.
I have such nice memories of phone calls with my long distance loves and even from high school, sitting on the phone for hours with the cord stretched to give myself privacy. I do think it's nicer than the immediacy we have now, but also these adorable babies would've met in a thousand realities. Even the ones with tinder.
