It's definitely a violation of some kind that can lead to PTSD. And Steven can see that brain washing is wrong. He sees it with Clint and Loki but not with Wanda and Tony (or Bruce). He has some really screwed and selective views. The whole thing reminds me heavily of sexual harassment/rape discussions. Yeah, Wanda wouldn't react kindly to Clint switching sides.
