Comment on Ready As I'll Ever Be

  1. Awww! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Like always, no rush. x3 You can get to commenting on it in your own time. :D And oh goodness I'm sorry to hear that! DX Allergies are no fun, and that sucks to have that skin condition...I mean I'm like a lizard and love the heat, but I love extreme cold too (snow, sleet, hail, rain)...maybe fleece leggings underneath sweatpants might help too. *hugs*

11~Yup, they're all there and Iwa just wants Suga safe and away from Tooru's clutches. Because you're right, Tooru and Sugu have complete control of Suga's movements, and Suga defers to them and Osamu...and when you lose what Suga lost, I figured playing him out as someone who is in a hopeless situation with no freedom (Tooru would want to keep him close so he doesn't escape, though we know Suga isn't going to abandon Sugu...I also figured Tooru would have the girls kept at the school and begin alpha training). Suga misses his alpha and his daughters, and I don't doubt Tooru threatened his daughters lives if Suga didn't listen to them. And ooohhhh really now? Well based on Chapter 36...I might have a guess or two, but it could be someone else as well...hmmm...now you have me curious! XD

12~I know, so sad but that small moment of hope to be saved by Iwa was there before reality set in. *hugs Suga*

13~Yes, real Sugu definitely has some internal conflict going on, and while not as obvious in this piece because this was made a little while back before the bond was more fleshed out (it was pretty fleshed out then, but I think we fleshed it out even more over the last few chapters or so), but as his pregnancy progresses, I have a feeling we will definitely see his real emotions and pain and anger being amplified by the bond and therefore twisting his real emotions into more overwhelming hatred and anger and bitterness toward those who harmed him, who still won't listen to him (though in this case, not listening to him is a necessary risk to save him). That the anger we see in the bonded Sugu from recent chapters won't just be seen by Sugu's bonded side, but we'll begin to see that from his natural self as well...and that is when Sugu's state will be really depressing to see.*hugs Sugu*

14~Yup, I figured that as the littles continue to develop and grow, their warmth will start to, in a way, help mask some of the pain from Sugu's bond mark when it appears...though like shown here, if the children aren't focusing on mommy and are distracted by something equally important (their daddy Tooru), then their ability to help alleviate Sugu's pain from the bond mark is gone with their focus elsewhere.

15~Exactly, if he lets the feeling of bitterness toward Tooru rule him, then the bond mark will begin to burn and Tooru will be aware that he's 'rebelling' against him again.

16~I 100% agree and I tried to have Sugu experience both sides of the spectrum with that sentence, with bonded Sugu and a bit of the real Sugu wanting to see the others suffer and feel the pain he felt from what they did to him. The other part of him, the real Sugu is still futilely trying to go against Tooru (much more weakly and subtly than before...can't be too obvious or his bonded side or Tooru will catch on and take over or in Tooru's case, say the magic words to bring out his bonded side) and is still bitter for what Tooru did to him and is still doing to him.

17~Oh yeah, their bond is not equal or healthy at all...and seeing as how extremely unhealthy their bond is, to a point where the bond has caused Sugu to mentally manifest a version of himself connected directly to the bond....which I think was caused by Sugu's continued unwillingness to accept the bond and his bonded...meaning this is likely the bond's response to Sugu's rejection, helping formulate a side to Sugu that totally accepts Tooru from latching onto what little pieces of Sugu that resonate with his bonded or that Sugu still holds dear to his heart.
