I do as well. I also like taxidermy (I have some taxidermy butterflies and moths) BUT at the same time, I find it very much body horror. Like the idea of someone killing you, then messing around with your body, preserving it forever and having it as an object for display. That terrifies me.
Mark is WAY too into it. I think he has a super weird obsession with preserving things he thinks of beautiful or unique. He thinks of it almost as his duty. That they deserve to be preserved. I also think he is a sadist and enjoys killing, but doesn't realize. He has completely romanticized what he is doing.
