[Long before “The Dark Flour War” and way before the Ancients obtained their Soul Jams the original 5 were a small explorer group. This little explorer group were friends for a good while now cooperating well and what not]

Golden cheese cookie, the greediest cookie in all of earth bread with all her ever glorious pride was relaxed,resting in her marquee peacefully resting her head against the soft cloth of the floor, tired and weary letting her mind drift off to ponder. She thinks of all the things precious to her heart but one protruding thought slipped through her greedy mind.. A cookie, a slight scrawny figurine with ever so flowing white hair like the cream clouds in the dull sky with her posture never leaning.. Always cautious, always worried…This very same thought she brushes away as quickly as it came simply dismissing it as some kind of mix-up within her erratic shuffled thoughts. She slowly drowses off finally giving into her temptations of finally sleeping…

[White Lily POV]-

The faithful White Lily Cookie was simply getting wood for the hungry little fire with HollyBerry and Dark Cacao as she wondered about Pure Vanilla's whereabouts. Her and Pure Vanilla were always close friends..bestfriends even.They have been together ever since their young college days. But she can’t help but feel that he likes her, even if he did she simply doesn't see him in that way she sees him as a brother or a close friend.. Never a lover or a romantic partner. She hopes that even if he does, their ever lasting friendship will remain the same. As she continuously picks up cinnamon sticks or any sort of flammable materials she trips and stumbles over something. She hadn't realized she was just thinking while around aimlessly like a lost child never really paying attention until that moment. She looked down at what she tripped over,it was a small crimson gem stone from her eyes that looked about the size of a sugar cube.It looks so very out of place like a cream sheep in the large urban towns. The lily picks up the gem stone with ever so grace and stares at it in awe, feeling awestruck by the extraordinary bathing beauty in the gem stone, the way the light reflects its bold red color. ”What is this?” she questioned in her ever so frail voice. SHe slowly picks it up admiring its bold beauty. “Marvalous,” she said, As she was admiring the small gem she was shaken up by a loud voice”A-HOY HEY WHITE LILY COOKIE GUESS WHAT I GOT” Hollyberry said in her usually boisterous voice.”OH Hey,W-What did you find?”she asked. “I found this awesome piece of wood in the shape of a cookie,see!” she holds out a piece of wood that does indeed look like a cookie or at least the outline of one. “Oh wow it really does look like a cookie!”.”Are you gonna put it in the fire?” she questioned.”Well of course not I'm just going to show it to Golden Cheese Cookie!” she said followed by a hearty laugh before going back to her duties. They lily sighed as she looked at her gem stone”Speaking of Golden Cheese… maybe I should show this to her.” she whispered while she walked back to camp as she thought she had collected enough wood plus it was getting dark.”Maybe”she quietly said as her cheeks began to fluster ever so slightly.”Just maybe.”

[Golden Cheese POV]-

The golden bird woke up in a hazy state, eyes blurry,nose stuffed up more than a profiterole, and her head was practically killing her. She groaned when she got up and huffed.”Ugh what on earthbear is the time?” she questioned, not really expecting an answer. She finally got up and slowly opened the drapes of her tent looking around cautiously and looked up at the night sky.”I slept through the evening? I wonder if they already collected wood for the fire.” She said as she stepped outside.”There you are, I thought you’d never wake up!” said Hollyberry. Golden Cheese looked at her with somewhat shock in her eyes and snapped back.”Why I the golden sovereign shall ALWAYS be awake and thriving except for this time…”. “Well since you’re clearly thriving as we speak, come help me with this fire.” Hollyberry said. : Hmp! Golden mumbled”FINE! Only because I need a good stretch.” She groaned. As they were putting the logs in the fire making sure it was maintained they saw the outline of White Lily and Dark Cacao in the short distance. “HEY OVER HERE” said both Hollyberry and Golden cheese loudly waving their arms. Pure Vanilla also came with pieces of lamb and other animal meats”Here’s the food!” he said lightheartedly as he set it down by the campfire.”Oh sweet FOOD!” Golden cheese said. After a good 30 minutes they were all sitting by the campfire in makeshift chairs. The golden bird sat next to white lily which is not odd by itself but she was sitting kind of close like she could grab her hand if she wanted to and she knew that they both knew. While eating the stew Golden Cheese said to Dark Cacao “Hey Dark Cacao! This stew honestly tastes really good! She slurps the juice out the wooden bowl. “Thank you. It's a snow biome thing.” he said coldly but not rudely. “Hey what do you think lily?” Golden said kindly, turning her head towards her waiting for a response. “Oh! I think it tastes good. It has this savory taste to it I like!” she responded with a warm smile. Golden's cheeks flustered as she listened to her the way she talks,fidgets with her hand and her dumb cheeky smile whenever she talks about something she likes oh this was a lot for the golden bird she honestly just couldn't help it.She couldn't help but feel..drawn to her in some way.

[White Lily POV] ˋ°•*⁀➷

White Lily was honestly taking a back seat when Golden asked that question especially when she was just cogitating about other stuff.”Oh yeah Golden, can I show you something?” she asked with an amiable tone. It seemed like Golden was taken off guard since she ruffled her feathers a bit and also a bit tongue-tied ”Oh! Y-yeah you ca-n!” she said as she put down her bowl of stew. White Lily smiled and just simply said ”Okay, can you close your eyes for me please?". The Golden Sovereign quickly obeyed and closed her eyes the very second she said it. She mumbled a bit trying to find the gemstone she tripped over earlier.She pulled it out holding it with care “Hey open your eyes now!” she said. Golden Cheese obeyed “Oh woww! She said in awe “Is this-s for me?” she questioned. White Lilies face starts to burn up showing a crimson red as she stutters”Y-yeah..Do you like it? She asked breathily. “Of course I do White Lily.” she said slowly, taking the gemstone from her hand using her unoccupied hand to hold White Lilies hand.”In fact i love it! She said with a greedy tone. White Lily's face was practically glowing red by this point when her and golden cheese were practically holding each other as she stared at the glowing stone.

[Golden Cheese POV]˚ ༘ ೀ⋆｡˚

“God, this gemstone is beautiful!” said Golden in awe. “I'm happy you like golden cheese cookie,” said white lily quietly. “HEY YO” yelled Hollyberry."We're going to bed now, you guys can stay by the campfire you like~” she said smugly. Golden cheese nodded but said back”What are you trying to imply?". “ OH nothing..just saying!” she said as she walked away with a superior smile back to her tent. “Oh yeah! I’ll be with Dark Cacao like Hollyberry said we should give you privacy !” said Pure Vanilla. Dark Cacao nodded in agreement.”HEY when did she tell you THAT!” the golden bird protested. “When you were busy holding her hand of course!” said Pure Vanilla in his ever so innocent voice so Golden Cheese couldn't be mad at him. “Hmp” she grunted “Well give Golden Sovereign her right full privacy then!” she said self approvingly “Right-O” he said in response as he walked back to his and Dark Cacao shared pavilion. Golden Cheese sighed in disbelief wondering where did hollyberry even get that idea from but she eventually questions the girl beside her “Hey White Lily by the way…Do you have any idea what hollyberry was trying to imply? I mean I know what she says has some kind of undertone to it but I just can’t think of it!” White sounds completely caught off guard shaken up her body a bit and furiously blinks as she tries to hide her blush but she's not doing so well at it
“Uhh uhmm.. Sorry, can you please repeat!” she asked as she turned her face away. “Do you know what Hollyberry was trying to imply?” she repeated. White Lily stayed silent for a while
Looking away and back from her until she confesses “Uhh…she was trying to imply that we were.. together?” she said, still blushing like a love sick puppy. “Oh REALLY!” she said cockily “hmm together like what exactly” she asked in a still confused tone. Now White Lily was really blushing, stammering and tripping over her words but she finally let it slip out “ As in like a…couple!”. “OHHHH I get it now!” Golden Cheese said laughing embarrassingly realizing that I took her a while for her to get it. White Lily laughed with for a while but every few moments she glanced down seeing that the two were still holding hands in a couple like way fingers intertwined holding one another like there’s no tomorrow.. Just the two of them alone sharing this peaceful moment.

The Next Day [White Lily Pov].𖥔 ݁ ˖

It was dewy, wet and cool in the breezy morning in just the southern east side of Crispia. Even though the Saint Lily wasn’t fully awake she knew this as she languidly stared at the side of her tent heavy-eyed breathing lazily for a good while until…”Hey White Lily uhh Are you awake” asked Pure Vanilla although she wasn’t really expecting him to come in like that she wasn’t startled. “Y-yeah I’m awake just..feeling a bit hazy.” she responded sleepily. “OH…Are you sick or something? I would definitely make something for you to feel better.. You know what I mean?” Pure Vanilla said in usual caring tone that although the offer was tempting she simply said “No-oh no I don't want to put any more work on you Nilla! I think you’re already hard working. I don't want to be a hassle for you!” she said dismissing it trying to convince Nilla she was not sick in any way. “You sure Lily? My offer still stands~” he said leaning on one of her bags trying to not seem so persistent with it trying to smile with assurance. White Lily sighs”Noo Pure Vanilla cookie! I'm alright, in fact I’ll stand up right now!” she said with boldness as she slowly stood up from her makeshift mattress.”See perfectly fine!”.”Hmm.. Well if you say so..Oh yeah you wanna help us collect some water this morning before we head out like usual?” He asked in his usual considerate mannerisms. “Hmm I think I’ll stay here today..maybe I’ll help clean up or something like that!” White Lily said happily. After a while it was around 10 am most of the other ancients were out getting water as Pure Vanilla said while she and Golden Cheese were at camp just cleaning, sweeping and so on. As they were doing it they strike up a conversation with each other.

[Golden Cheese POV] ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･

It was warm outside, nice and cool. It was like the perfect spring weather without all the pollen and other stuff. As she was working on sweeping she thought about what happened last night..well what was given to her to be exact. The gem crossed her mind..out of all the treasures she had had over the years the gem that white lily had given to her as a gift was one of the most stunning she has seen in a while,mainly because it remind her of White Lily Cookie because of the brazen redness it has especially when its held in the sunlight… It honestly reminds her of her eyes mostly when she’s excited about a discovery or telling her something she likes. Which really makes her more eloquent than she already is, especially in her eyes.Speaking of last night she didn't realize up until right now that they were practical holding each other which did make her blush a bit but over what over came that cheesy feeling is that she was too busy laughing her ass of to even notice it and she kinda felt dumb because of that. She sighed in her self-embarrassed state..maybe a little too loudly especially if White Lily was about 7 feet apart or maybe even less. “Golden Cheese..Are you okay you seemed a bit stressed out” she asked in her calm [loving] tone and that caught her off guard .“Oh y-yeah I’m fine!” she said trying to hide her blush and she's doing it horribly. White lily chuckles a bit “Are you sure though? You blushing quite a lot!” White Lily asked. Golden Cheese scoffed “HA!” she said with her usual cockiness “What blush?” she asked with the obvious noticeable blush on her face you could tell she was lying but it wasn't enough to fool White Lily after all she’s very smart. “Don’t lie to me Goldie I can obviously see it on your face.” she said in an alluring tone. Now that really threw the Golden Sovereign off guard. Goldie? That’s a new nickname, well most of her friends call her “The most greedy of the land” or “Cheese” something along those lines but never “Goldie” so that was odd but she doesn't seem to mind it.’’Goldie? I like that.” she said tantalizingly.”Oh! Sorry it kind of just rolled off my tongue.It felt as if it was natural to say it” she briefly said. Golden Cheese hummed”I like that name in fact I might just change my name to that!” White Lily simply sighed “You really shouldn't change your name to Goldie;I prefer Golden Cheese better. Golden Cheese leaned on her broom forgetting that they were supposed to be sweeping but they were almost done so it doesn't matter. “But I like it when you call me Goldie though~” she whined White Lily sighed again and smiled “I only called you Goldie like twice you know?” “So whatt? I still like it when you call me it. “Oh Golden Cheese~”

In White Lily’s mind it was crystal clear that Golden Cheese was “trying” to flirt with her. It was quite humorous to her since it was her,out of all the cookies in Crispa she could have chosen.She couldn't quite frankly wrap her head around it. She was a frail nerdy flower cookie from the Faerie Kingdom. Also,she wasn't the well… best looking cookie out there at least in her eyes.But nevermind that It was the fact that she was flirting with her that really flattered her. She honestly felt honored that it was this cookie filled with abundance, caring, pretty funny and beautiful doing this and if she wants to win her heart then she has to flirt back…a lot just in case of course. “Oh Golden Cheese~” she said subtly implying something.”I know what you're doing you know.” Golden Cheese's face went pale as if she was caught but still held that vainglorious smirk on her face. “What is it exactly though?” she leaned closer to her as if it was a challenge or even a game to her and if it was White Lily would have shyly accepted it. “W-well” she whispered as if she’s about to laugh”Goldie it's obvious you're flirting with me, you know that.” Golden looked as if she was caught eating sugar cubes when she wasn’t supposed to. As the blush crept up on her she turned her face away as if it was to shield her from the…true allegations. She stayed quiet for a while as if she was thinking about something..was it regret? Embarrassment? She couldn't tell until she said out of the blue. “Hey White Lily? I've been meaning to ask you something…” she sounded fairly nervous and was shaking a little bit as if she was going to confess until….”Hey you guys were back from our little water trip!” that voice is so familiar..it was…

“Damn it!” she said in her head she was a little upset that Pure Vanilla came out literally nowhere specially during this moment of confession but oh well she’ll just have to say it another time. She wished Vanilla came at a different time it doesn't even matter when just..not now.”Hey Vanilla.” she answered, her voice sounding a bit..off maybe even hoarse. “Hey Golden Cheese Cookie!” he said “The others will be here in just a second!” he started putting away the water he carried, saving it for today’s dinner or just to drink. “Hey Cheese you good there you seem..tense?” said HollyBerry, sounding concerned. “Y-yeah I'm fine…” she answered not sounding too sure but then “Hey actually let me help you out there!” she asked a little too excitedly, maybe just a little unlike her actually.”Hmm alright then just get your ass over here” she said complacently lifting up other supplies. Golden walks over to where she is and honestly she feels all nervous and other feelings that she's not too sure about especially after that with her.God she gets so flustered and all lovey dovey around her she honestly can’t help it I mean who wouldn't be head over heels for her? The way she walks,her messy braided hair, her dumb little smile, she is genuinely the most perfect, honest and hell smartest cookie she has ever seen….no that she has ever known.She really needs to talk to somebody about it,maybe HollyBerry?After some time of them just working together packing away supplies,taking out some then she breaks the silence.”Hollyberry I kinda want to tell you something? If you don't mind of course!” “Oh yeah sure Cheese! What's on your mind?”she said as she was putting somethings down and leaning on them slightly not trying to make them topple over but never less trying to listen to what Golden Cheese was saying.Golden makes sure there was nobody else around looking behind bushes,tent walls and hell under a pot cover but once she found the nobody was there except for just her and Hollyberry she finally spilled her heart out.”Hey I think I like…White Lily Cookie?” She nervously rubbed her golden spear like it’s the neck of a guitar looking for some kind of approval in her eyes.HollyBerry stayed silent for a good minute then she broke the silence humming with approval and then said in a humorous tone”Heh,I already knew that. Soo are you going to ask her out now?”she asked with persistence.”Well..yeah but that's not the point! Plus how do you already know!”she said, sounding flustered by even the thought of her.”I just figured you’re not very good at hiding your feelings bud.” she said as she chuckled.”W-well” Golden Cheese stuttered and just sighed “Well I guess you're right.”and said still flustered with her ears turning a light pinkish color.”So yeah I've liked her for a while now and I really want to ask her but…I don't really know how to…confess?”she covered her face from how red her face was and groaned.”You do know what I mean right?” HollyBerry simply laughed breathily “Y-Yeah i know what you mean don’t worry yourself I'll give you answer;I just need to think about it first!” Golden sighed out of relief at least she was able to talk it out with somebody all she needs to do now was just..wait.
