Six Feet Under

Summary:

this entire book is just scraps and eventually my finished writing assignment. The main story will follow a man named Chloro Ross who is the funeral director in Britain in the 1920's. Chloro is an outwardly cunning and very charismatic man, but he was apathetic towards others and had a lack of empathy. Chloro would go to extreme measures to keep his reputation and business afloat, even if it means sacrificing others for his own selfish gain

I still don't have a plot but I'm figuring it out.
and the assighnment has to be 500-1,200 words so nothing will be really long unless i'm writing this on my free time

Notes:

(See the end of the work for notes.)

Chapter 1: begining charater into

Chapter Text

Yk this guy used to be a crk oc, his name was Green tea cookie and he was still a funeral director, although I did ship him with Wildberry cookie. the only diffrence between Green tea and Chloro ross is that Green tea has green hair and yellow eyes while Chloro was changed to have black hair and light brown eyes.
Green tea still exists so think of this as a multiverse to him

although I'll maybe write abought Green tea in another book(I'm never doing that bruh)

This section is gonna be of my charater introduction for the story-

My character’s full name is Chloro Ross, he is a a 38 year old man who is the funeral director of a mortuary. Chloro is an outwardly cunning and very charismatic man, but he was apathetic towards others and had a lack of empathy. Chloro would go to extreme measures to keep his reputation and business afloat, even if it means sacrificing others for his own selfish gain. Chloro was born into wealth, earning his place as funeral director after his father passed away from tuberculosis when Chloro was 21. Although Chloro was emotionally neglected as a child due to the lack of a mother figure in his life, and with how his father was almost consistently busy with work to keep the family as wealthy as they were. One of Chloro’s deepest secrets is how he once hired to have a man buried alive, after said man had filed a lawsuit against Chloro for ‘improper storing of the deceased.’ Chloro has a love for tea, especially green tea, he hates loud and energetic people, and he fear even the thought of falling into poverty. Chloro is unsure of what he truly wants most in this world, he’s comfortable the position he is currently in already. Chloro’s weakness is his impaired vision that was in his right eye, although he wore a monocle to help with his right eye’s poor vision, he was still partially blind in that eye. However his biggest strength is his intelligence, he knows what to say to others to sweet talk into getting his way, and he uses his intellect to avoid any legal or financial troubles. The story Chloro is in will take place during the 1920’s.

appearance wise Chloro was a stylish yet very buisnesslike man, having neatly combed medium length hair, light brown eyes with a monicle placed in his right. He wore a grey suit with a black tailcoat worn over with a white jabot worn around his neck, shiny heeled shoes, and on his head he wore a black top hat.

bro definetly does not look to be in the 1920's but I'm to tired atp to change his design🫩

he was a very selfish man in general

alright its currently Tuesday while I'm writing this, I had Monday off of school but I gotta submit this to Canvas for where my class mates and me will judge on another's writing asighnnemts and give feed back on it. then I gotta submit this shit Friday.

and I still don't have a fucking set plot yet

its my fault tho but that's the end for now, plot scraps next chapter.

Chapter 2: Plot scraps YAY

Summary:

scraps, fragments, and bullshit of what I'm trying to get the plot to be

Chapter Text

Start-
Chloro had been sued for £40,000 due to breach of contract and mishandling bodies. He had lost the case, because the lawyer he was being prosecuted by had managed to dig up some dirt on Chloro’s name. Resulting in Chloro losing the case and losing a lot of money. The story will start a week after the court case had been closed, where the lawyer had arrived by taxi to meet with Chloro to have a discussion with the funeral director that he had scheduled for the day.
(Note- The lawyer’s name is Victor Miller.)
They end up speaking, Chloro guilt trips Victor for what he did and how it was ‘unnecessary’. Victor ends up feeling bad, it gets late Chloro offers to walk victor to at least the front gates of his property, victor accepts. They walk with Chloro leading the way with a lantern and an umbrella since it was starting to sprinkle rain and it was really dark out cause the clouds were covering the moon.
Main point of complications and conflict-
Victor can’t see very well cause of the darkness and he doesn’t know the property well since this is his first time actually walking through the area. As they walk Chloro and Victor get into an argument about the information Victor has on Chloro’s past criminal cases he had been involved in, and in the moment in anger, Victor was threatening to leak the information to the public just to ruin Chloro’s reputation. Victor was being the louder voice, and Chloro being unsettlingly quiet. After 15 minutes he soon realizes that its talking longer than needed and that Chloro may be leading his somewhere else. He asks Chloro about it as he stops walking, letting the rain soak his clothes. Then victor realized that Chloro hadn’t led him to the front gates of the property, but to the forest behind Chloro’s estate. Chloro then turned to Victor, smiled eerily, said some dialogue, then it cuts to a few days later.
Resolved conflict-
Its morning three days later and Chloro is sitting in a coffee shop drinking a cup of green tea while reading a local newspaper. The lawyer Victor had been reported as missing to the authorities. Chloro remembers the morning after Victor’s original disappearance, the police had come to question him, but inevitably let him off the hook after Chloro payed them off to keep him out of the case. Chloro smiled softly to himself as he took a sip of his tea, he was the reason victor had gone missing. He had buried that man alive to be completely sure that he wouldn’t leak any of the past grievances Victor had discovered about him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah I scrapped this not only becausee the plot is cringy and just dumb overall and wouldn't fit well into a 500-1200 asighnment. my teach said it was similar to an Edgar Alan poe book, she didnt say which one but that was a sign I had to change it completely.

for scraps I'm gonna use the name Victor Blane for any side character I need, the man had short brown hair, dark eyes, and will be like Barbie and be whatever I want him to be whether it be a doctor, a lawyer, a psychiatrist, or a police officer.
I aint't making new characters and thinking of new names unless i need a secondary side character.

ok now that i got all of that out of the way. Should I just go for the vampire route, it would give Chloro a better reason to kill, but then i would need to figure out what the fuck

.-. >:C
what the fu k
ok nvm were not doing the vampire rout, it waa just a thought i needed to get out.

but the story is gonna take place during, of course the UK during a foggy, rainy, and depressing day sometime during dusk/sunset

and its gonna be in 3rd person pov. so yeah.

.

.

.

I don't got anymore ideas, so fuck me over cause I'm running out of time

i gotta start writing like in ruuning out of time.

write day and night like I'm running out of time.

ok this is fucking stupid

Chapter 3: i finally got an endgame story

Summary:

i figured out what the fuck im doing with this storyline. pretty anticimactic tho

Chapter Text

i accidentally deleted the pharagraph summary of my story so your getting the unofficial draft:c

i wanr this to be one-sided bl coded tho

Six Feet Under, Official Draft----

The funeral director stepped out the wooden front doors of the mortuary, taking out a pair of keys from his black coat pocket to lock the doors for the evening. Chloro turned his brown eyes to the cloudy, darkening sky as he put the keys back in his pocket. The air was crisp and the setting sun wasn’t even visible through the clouds, Chloro adjusted his gold monocle as he walked forward. He held a closed umbrella in his right gloved hand and looked rather irritable at the moment as he stepped out to the sidewalk to walk home, brushing away a strand of black hair from his face.
Chloro had sent out a job opening hiring for a Funeral Attendant, seeing that the last one had quit right off the spot for unknown reasons, and while Chloro has received notice from someone willing to take the job, they hadn’t shown up yet. Someone being completely late like this was something that exasperated Chloro, was it truly so hard to be properly on time?
Then he saw a man in his early twenties, wearing a suit and walking briskly towards him, seemingly wanting to stay proffesonal yet get to his destination quickly. Chloro turned his light brown gaze towards the man who had stopped in front of him, The man was in his early twenties and seemed to be rather frazzled at the moment, unable to meet Chloro’s gaze at first before locking his gaze with the slightly taller man. “Excuse me sir, but do you happen to be Chloro Ross?”
“hmm? Well yes I am, I assume your Victor, the intern that contacted me?” a hollow smile formed on his lips, being polite yet displeased at the same time. “your late to our meeting.” Chloro bluntly said as he started walking down the sidewalk, Victor quickly went to walk behind the funeral director, feeling embarrassed that this is the first impression he makes. “I apologize sir, there was an issue with traffic where someone” Chloro cut Victor off, as if he didn’t want to hear any excuses. “alright I understand, but Mr. Blane please do be punctual next time.” Chloro said curtly, not even looking behind him to check if Victor was keeping up with his pace. “yes Mr. Ross it won’t happen again…” Victor replied in a disheartened voice, his green eyes falling to look at the setting sun for a minute before looking back ahead of him.
It was not a good look for Victor, this job Chloro was offering would pay off his loans and would improve his resume for a better job, and being a Funeral Service Worker didn’t sound to hard of a job. On other circumstances Chloro would completely disregard someone like Victor and find someone else for the job, but Chloro had never seen someone so quick to want to work for someone like him. Especially since a mortuary is not somewhere any person would want to be at every day for work no less.
Chloro abruptly stopped at the sign post of a bus stop, which caused Victor to almost stumble before immediately steadying himself, not wanting to look like a fool. “I have decided to reschedule our meeting for tomorrow morning, 7 am sharp. Don’t be late this time.” Chloro said, as he spoke droplets of rain started to fall from the sky, which caused Chloro to open his umbrella to shield himself from the rain. However Victor was not as fortunate and hadn’t brought a umbrella with him, his short brown hair and clothing getting wet from the rain.
Chloro pulled out a pocket watch and looked at the time, the small hands of the watch moving with each second that passed. “the Bus should be arriving in only a few short minutes. You can wait that long, Correct?” Chloro said, his tone lighter than it was before and his expression more neutral as he looked at Victor, waiting for an answer. “Ah, yes of course, it’s not an issue at all.” Victor quickly said, his heart jumping in his throat as he quickly soaked in all the information, he was getting a second chance at getting the job.
“Well that’s good to hear. I’ll be walking home now, until next time Mr. Blane.” Chloro finally said as he started to walk away, holding the umbrella over his head as he did. Victor was already taking off his top coat to hold over his head and attempt to stay a little bit dry. “oh, goodbye Mr. Ross.” Victor said a little late, watching Chloro’s figure walk away into the rain with slight appreciation, getting his coat off and holding it over his head as an attempt to better shelter himself from the rainfall.

-------------------------------------------

yeah this is the third and probably final story draft ima do, this is the least unettling version of Chloro ive gone with. and i kina wish i could have made him seem less tern and more creepy in a way, but again. this is just the draft, and some things will def change in the final product.

also i just scrapped the idea of them being british, cause im not sure on how to write in a british accent very well and i dont wanna get a lower grade cause of it.

Notes:

please kill me bro im not gonna make it in time for the asignment deadline
