Chapter 1: Round 1: Volpina
Chapter Text
Chapter 1: Volpina
Lila, a girl with an unyielding determination and ambitious goals, embarked on her journey to College Francoise Dupont. Her objective was clear—to establish herself as the school's queen bee and win the heart of Adrien. These were not just about popularity and romance, but about finding her place and proving her worth in a new environment. Her determination was unwavering, and she was prepared to do whatever it took to achieve her goals. Little did she know, a potential obstacle was about to test her resolve—Marinette, the school's beloved princess. This encounter with Marinette would set the stage for a series of events that would shape Lila's school journey. Still, her resilience was unyielding, a testament to her unbreakable spirit.
As Lila stepped into the school, her heart beat with anticipation. Today, her intricate web of deceit, a testament to her cunning nature, would begin to take shape. As she ascended the stairs, she overheard two girls discussing Prince Ali and his upcoming project. They spotted Lila and greeted her warmly. Lila returned their wave, her mind already spinning a tale, her cunning nature ready to play, showcasing her strategic thinking that would soon come into play.
"Hi, I am Lila, and I’m new here." Lila introduced herself to the two girls. Rose and Juleka also introduced themselves to Lila. "Where are you talking about Prince Ali, too?" Lila asked the two girls innocently. '' Yes, we are, '' Rose said. Lila would have to lie and claim to know Prince Ali personally.
As the girls conversed, Lila observed their interactions, taking note of the dynamics at play. She was about to spin her story when Marinette and Alya, friends with Rose and Juleka, approached the girls. Their warm greetings and the blush on Rose and Juleka's cheeks at Marinette’s smile were not lost on Lila. This interaction highlighted the existing relationships and Marinette’s influence on her peers, a force that Lila had not fully anticipated. She rolled her eyes at Marinette, a subtle sign of her disdain. Still, inside, she felt a twinge of uncertainty, exposing her vulnerability in the face of unexpected challenges, a feeling that would soon become more pronounced.
Lila began to grow worried. She couldn't use Prince Ali's story since Rose knew him, though she had a different story she could use. Then, Marinette turned around to talk to Lila. ''Hi, I’m Marinette. Welcome to College Francoise Dupont,'' Marinette says. Lila gave Marinette a fake smile. ''Hi, I am Lila Rossi,'' Lila said.
''Come with us, we will give you a tour of the school,'' Alya offered Lila. ''I would like that,'' Lila says, faking a sweet voice. Alya, Marinette, and Lila walked off to enter the school. Then they saw Chloe and Sabrina. Sabrina was carrying Chloe’s stuff, and Chloe was talking about herself as usual. Chloe saw Marinette and took her things from Sabrina. The three girls walked to Chloe and Sabrina, and the introductions began again.
''Are you doing anything after school?'' Chloe asked. Chloe wanted to spend more time with Marinette. ''I must work on some homework that I missed,'' Marinette replied. Sabrina smiled. Maybe she got extra time with the school princess. ''You can join me after school. I can help catch you up.'' Sabrina said. Chloe gives Sabrina a warning glare. Sabrina jumped at the glare. Marinette notices this and says, ''The three of us can do it together.'' Chloe dropped the glare, and Sabrina took a breath.
''We can do it at Daddy Hotel. We can visit Jagged Stone when we are there,'' Chole said. Lila's idea of lying about knowing Jagged and writing a song about her was out the window. Still, Lila had more stories to tell everyone. Then Nino, Max, and Kim walked up to the girls. Other introductions again for the third time. ''Hey Nino, I heard you're working on a new short film,'' Alya wonders. Lila thought it was perfect to lie about knowing Steven Spielberg.
Each rejection blew Lila's confidence, but she refused to give up. I hope to meet Steven Spielberg himself. In the future, of course,' Nino said. Lila was about to say something, but Marinette beat her to it. 'Well, Thomas may be able to help him,' Marinette stated. Lila was seething inside. It was the third time with lousy luck, and she lost a third story. These rejections were not just about losing a story; they were about losing a part of her plan and identity. Everyone agreed with what Marinette said. After that, Chloe, Sabrina, Max, Kim, and Nino left. The three girls left and walked up the stairs. They walked up the stairs to the second floor of the school. There, we see Adrien waiting for Marinette so he can ask her a question.
One last introduction was done. Thank God there are no more introductions to anyone! Adrien was about to ask a question when Lila cut him off. ''I heard Ladybugs have a best friend!'' Lila shouted. Alya, Adrien, and Marinette looked at her as if she were crazy. ''Are you okay?'' Alya asked. Lila took a deep breath and could tell one of her 'stories.' “I am Alya. I heard Ladybug has a best friend. Ladybug's best friend,” Lila, was about to finish, but was cut off. Adrien Agreste himself was about to ask his question. Lila's heart raced as she struggled to maintain her facade, her mind racing to come up with another story to cover her tracks, her confidence wavering under the pressure.
"Would you like to join us for an upcoming photoshoot?" asked Adrien. Marinette let out a giggle and became a little. "I like that. When is it?" replied Marinette. Adrien laughed at the blush. "It's two days at the park," Adrien said. Lila's patience was wearing thin. She left for the library, her anger simmering beneath the surface. Finding a table, she couldn't contain her frustration any longer. "My chances with Adrien are gone! I hate you, Marinette!" Lila's outburst echoed in the library as she slammed her hands on the table. This outburst revealed Lila's inner turmoil and strained her relationships with the other characters, particularly Marinette. But even in her defeat, Lila's unwavering determination, a source of inspiration, inspired those around her. Her internal struggle was a testament to her human nature, making her a more relatable character.
Then, a butterfly, the Akuma, fluttered into the library and landed on Lila's bracelet. 'Volpina, I am Hawk Moth. 'Volpina, I am Hawk Moth. 'Volpina's bestowing you the power of illusion; your lies will manifest into reality from this moment. Gain the trust of Ladybug and Cat Noir, convince them you're an actual superhero, and then betray them. Bring me their Miraculous,' Hawkmoth's voice echoed in Lila's mind. She smiled at the offer and replied, 'It would be my pleasure, Hawk Moth. ' With that, she embraced her transformation into Volpina, her eyes set on her first target, Marinette. As the chapter ended, the suspense of her impending transformation into a new identity hung in the air, thick with anticipation.
Chapter 2: Round 2: Heroes Day
Notes:
It's round 2 now. Lila Vs Dupain-Cheng Effect on Heroes Day.
Chapter Text
We find ourselves in Miss Bustier’s classroom, the air buzzing excitedly. Today is Heroes’ Day in Paris, France, an exceptional day in everyone's heart. The students, their hearts brimming with the day's spirit, eagerly share their heroic deeds. This was a day when everyone could uniquely be their hero, filling the room with palpable energy. Even Lila Rossi, who didn't share the same enthusiasm for Hero’s Day, couldn't help but feel the excitement. ''So, what heroic deeds have you all planned? Nino? '' Miss Bustier inquired, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
''I gotta admit, I've never done anything for anyone before, but Ladybug and Cat Noir have shown me what being cool is about. So, this year, I will visit the elderly residents at the local retirement home and play them all their favorite songs.'' Nino replied. Marinette and Adrien both smile in surprise.
The class claps at Nino's plan. ''Adrien?'' Miss Bustier asked Adrien next. He stands up to explain what he is going to do. ''Today, I plan to give my fencing classmates a lesson in Chinese and my Chinese classmates a lesson in fencing,'' Adrien told Miss Bustier. Adrien sits back down. ''Alya?'' Miss Bustier asked her next.
Last year, I wrote an article about equipping public buildings with accessible features for people with disabilities. But after seeing Ladybug and Cat Noir go that extra mile every day, I decided I could do better, too. So, I got the mayor's approval to improve facilities so handicapped kids can attend our school.'' Alya explained her plans for Hero’s Day.
''You three have good ideas,'' Lila faked sweetness in her voice. Everyone agreed with Lila. Initially, Lila lies about being in the Kingdom of Achu and claims to be working with Prince Ali. They were going to 'work' on world pollution. Lila’s plan to become famous and popular is not going well. However, she will be working on her plan to rule the world.
"What are you doing for Hero’s Day, Marinette?" Lila asked Marinette. Lila hopes to make Marinette less popular if her idea is horrible. Everyone looked at Marinette and wanted to know her idea. ''Uh...so I, uh, yeah. I have macarons,'' Marinette answered. ''Wow, that's your plan? You went above and beyond, Marinette.'' Lila told Marinette. Lila laughed at Marinette, and everyone glared at Lila.
"Hey! She did what she could, and that's better than nothing." Alya defended Marinette. Lila got angry as her plan failed for the fourth or fifth time. It could be six. "Wait! It's not just macarons for us. I'm organizing a school-wide macaron tasting." Marinette lay right there.
Lila saw that Marinette was lying about her plan. The class gasped at this news. ''Yeah. And they'll be more than just macarons, too. There'll be pastries, pies, fruits, and cakes for anyone who wants them. I invite everybody to the biggest tasting at the park tonight.'' Marinette finished her 'big idea. '
''Cake for everyone!'' Ivan shouted, his voice cutting through the tension. The class began to cheer at this, united in their excitement for Hero's Day. Marinette got worried. She was unsure if she could pull off her plan. Lila, on the other hand, was seething with anger. Her plan to undermine Marinette had backfired, leaving her powerless and frustrated. She wanted to say something, but didn’t because she didn't want any more negative attention. Her plan had failed, and the class, united in their excitement for Hero's Day, would not let her spoil their day.
Chapter 3: Round 3: Chameleon
Notes:
Now it's time for round 3, first day back at school. Who will win this time, Marinette or Lila?
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
Marinette entered Miss Bustier's classroom, arriving just barely on time. She saw everyone in the class sitting beside someone except Adrien, who had an empty seat beside him. She walked around the desks towards Alya, her best friend, and Nino, Alya’s boyfriend. ''Hey, what's going on?'' Marinette asked. Alya and Nino, who had been discussing Lila, blushed at Marinette, forgetting to talk to her about Lila. The three of them had been friends for years, but lately, things had been a bit tense due to Lila's arrival.
''Well, since she’s got a hearing issue, there's no way she can sit at the back of the class, right? Which means she needed a place up in the front,'' Nino replied. ''So, to make it work, Ivan sat next to Mylene, Nate sat next to Alix, and she came up with the idea of moving Nino here, so now we get to spend more time together,'' Alya explained. Marinette blinked her eyes.
'Who is this?' Marinette asked. Lila entered the classroom and got ready to get everyone's attention. Then, Miss Bustier entered the classroom and approached Lila to discuss her hearing problem. ''Lila, I need to talk outside really quickly,'' Miss Bustier said to Lila. Lila nodded her head yes, and the two went into the hallway. ''I called your mom about your tinnitus and checked your medical records. There’s nothing about tinnitus or any of the other medical conditions you claimed,'' Miss Bustier told Lila. Lila was beginning to get worried. Lila started to think of a lie, but Miss Bustier stopped her.
''Don't try to lie, Lila. You will tell the class that you lied and apologize for the lie. Also, everyone will be watching you closely,'' Miss Bustier informed Lila. Lila got angry about getting busted, but couldn’t see a way to escape. Even if she did, Miss Bustier would just call her mom and dig a bigger hole for herself. Her anger was palpable, adding a tense atmosphere to the room.
''Yes, Miss Bustier, I will tell the truth,'' Lila answered angrily. The two entered the class, and Marinette remained in the same place. As Lila greeted the class, her anger was like a storm cloud, casting a shadow over the room. Everyone noticed this and wondered why. Marinette, on the other hand, felt a mix of relief and disappointment. She was glad the truth was out, but also felt sorry for Lila. Her emotions were a whirlwind, and she struggled to make sense of everything. Adrien, sitting alone, observed the scene with a mixture of concern and understanding, his feelings for Lila complicated by their shared history.
''Lila, did you have something to tell the class?'' asked Miss Bustier. Lila, though reluctant, knew she had to come clean. ''I lied about having tinnitus to get your attention, and I lied about everything else as well,'' she confessed. The class was shocked, except for Marinette and Adrien, who could always discern truth from lies. Lila's web of deceit was unraveling, revealing a darker side to her character. The room was filled with a heavy silence, broken only by the sound of Lila's confession. The once-vibrant and united class now felt a sense of betrayal and distrust, and their relationships with Lila were forever altered. However, there was also a palpable sense of relief in the air, a feeling that the truth had finally come to light. The class was no longer the same, and everyone felt the impact of Lila's deception; their trust in her was broken. This moment would shape their relationships and understanding of trust in the future, but it also brought a sense of unity and reassurance to the class.
"Well, I guess Marinette can sit with me, " Adrien said with happiness. Marinette walked over to the empty seat next to Adrien and sat down. Adrien smiled at Marinette, and everyone else got jealous. Lila was the most envious, but she took a deep breath. She walked to the back of the class and took her seat.
Miss Bustier clapped her hands. ''Open your books to page 23,'' she instructed her students. After class, we all headed to the school cafeteria. Lila, Alya, and Nino grabbed food; Marinette was already sitting at a table full of food with the rest of the class around her. The class's unity was not just evident; it was palpable, creating a comforting and robust sense of belonging for everyone. Despite the recent tensions, the class was coming together, demonstrating that their friendships were stronger than the deception that had been revealed. As they shared a meal and laughed together, it was clear that their bond was unbreakable, providing a profound sense of comfort and belonging to everyone in the class.
''That's for you, Marinette!'' Sabrina said, putting the plate on the table. ''Thank you. You're so sweet!'' Marinette said, feeling a bit awkward. ''Here's your appetizer, Marinette!'' Max offers to Marinette. ''And I've got your main course!'' Mylène added in.
''I'll fetch your dessert!'' Kim tells Marinette. Kim goes to get Marinette a dessert. Kim reached for a plate between Lila and Alya ''Sorry,'' Kim apologized to the two girls. ''I bet Marinette is acting all nice. Marinette is just faking it,'' Lila says to Alya. ''I don't get it, Lila. You barely know her. Why all the hate?'' Alya asked. ''Fine, I'll tell you everything,'' Lila growls. She grabs Alya and Nino by the wrist, drags them to a separate table away from the others, and sits across from them.
Lila launched into a detailed account of why she believed Marinette was 'faking it' and how she had gathered 'evidence' To support her claims. As she spoke, Alya and Nino's disbelief was not only evident but also palpable, and their expressions were a mix of shock and intrigue. 'What?' they exclaimed in unison, struggling to comprehend the extent of Lila's accusations. The shock on their faces was not just evident; it was striking, and it was clear that Lila's actions had deeply affected their relationship with her, leaving a profound impact on the audience.
When Nino confronted Lila about her stalking, his disapproval was evident in his crossed arms and turned head. Alya, too, voiced her skepticism, challenging Lila to prove her claims. Lila, her fury evident, stormed away, leaving Alya and Nino in a state of shock and bewilderment, the intensity of Lila's emotions lingering in the air.
Notes:
Talk about being shouted down for your lies.
Chapter 4: Round 4: Oni-Chan
Notes:
Now it's time for round 4. Marinette and Adrien get to study together while Lila tries to ruin it. Would she or will she not?
Chapter Text
We find ourselves in Lila's cozy room, which reflects her vibrant personality. As she awakens to the soft glow of her phone, we see a glimpse of her life through the messages she receives. Her ever-busy mom's voice message, a familiar sound that brings comfort and a touch of home, sets the tone for the day.
''Hi, darling. Your breakfast is on the table, your lunch is in a bag, and your dinner is in the fridge. I'll be home late tonight again, but I'll do my best to be there this weekend—pinky promise. Please feel free to call me if you need anything. Love you to bits, my angel!'' Lila's mother says through a voicemail. Lila's mother blows a kiss after the message.
Lila comes back into her room and picks up her phone. She heads towards the bakery. Nino is walking, and Lila appears. Nino notices her and runs towards her. ''Is something wrong?'' Nino asked. Lila tries to make a story but knows it won't work. ''I'm doing okay'' Lila replied.
Nino and Lila continue to walk in silence. They arrived at the school, and Nino rushed to Adrien, his best friend, as he stepped out of his car. ''Hey, Adrien!'' Nino called out. ''Hi, Nino. What's up?'' Adrien responded. The two boys engaged in a lively conversation about their lives. Meanwhile, Lila's mind was churning with a sinister plan. A wicked grin spread across her face, foreshadowing the manipulative game she would unleash on Adrien and his friends. Her envy and desire for attention, fueled by insecurities, drove her actions.
As the school day draws close, the palpable tension between Lila and Miss Bustier sets the stage for a brewing conflict. Despite the teacher's attempts to halt her, Lila's unyielding determination to infiltrate Adrien and Marinette's circle is like a burning flame, adding a layer of intensity to the unfolding drama. Little does she know that her actions will have severe consequences, not just for her but for everyone involved.
Lila didn't care what Miss Bustier had to say. The teacher shook her head because she needed to talk to Lila about her grades. Miss Liar was now outside the school. She saw Marinette prepare to enter Adrien's car, but was stopped by his bodyguard. This incident resulted from Lila's previous manipulative actions, which caused the bodyguard to be more cautious about who could approach Adrien. Little did Lila know that this would be the first of many consequences of her manipulative game, setting the stage for dramatic events.
With disbelief and envy, Lila watches Marinette enter Adrien's car. This unexpected turn of events amplifies the audience's surprise and fuels Lila's frustration. As the car drives away, Lila is left perplexed and anticipating, her mind buzzing with unanswered questions and her heart filled with a potent mix of jealousy, anger, and determination. Lila's emotional turmoil, fueled by jealousy and determination, sets the stage for the intense drama that unfolds. Her emotions are a driving force behind her actions, and they will lead to significant developments in the story.
Meanwhile, Marinette and Adrien discuss the upcoming math test in Agreste's car. ''What’s the worst math grade you've ever gotten?'' Marinette asks. With a modest laugh and a hint of blush, Adrien admits, ''An A- is the worst I got.'' His modesty shines through, further endearing him to Marinette. This significant conversation reveals Adrien's academic excellence and modesty, making him even more endearing to Marinette. His modesty makes Marinette's heart flutter, and she can't help but admire his intelligence. ''You're smart, Adrien,'' Marinette tells him. He blushes even more at this, but quickly regains his composure, his feelings for Marinette becoming more evident.
Now we are at the Agrestes’ mansion. Marinette and Adrien leave the car and walk up the stairs to the mansion. Nathalie stands atop the stairs while Lila spies on them through the gate. ''Hello, Marinette. It is nice seeing you again,'' Nathalie said. ''Nice see you too'' Marinette says.
Nathalie opened the door, and the two teenagers walked into the mansion. Lila was shocked at how Marinette had gotten into the mansion so quickly. '' Seriously? How is she doing that?'' Lila asked with surprise. She ran around the mansion and tried to spy on Adrien's room, only to find that the mansion wall was too high and couldn’t be climbed; however, upon spotting a bunch of nearby trash bins, she got an idea.
Then they were at the Agreste mansion. Marinette and Adrien were walking into Adrien's room. ''How did you get your dad to agree with this? I thought he hated your friends,'' Marinette asked. ''I told my father I needed a tutor for the upcoming test. Well…was he happy that I was going to tutor you?'' Adrien replied.
Then, back outside the Agreste mansion. Lila has built a tower of trash bins, which she prepares to climb until Fire Captain Hessenpy stops her. ''Hey, miss! You can't climb on that. It's too dangerous.'' Hessenpy warned her. "Could I borrow your ladder, please?" Lila asked. "No, you Whack-A-Doo. A firefighter's ladder is for real emergencies, not for spying on boys—especially without a helmet, " Hessenpy stated firmly. As this took place, Marinette stared at Adrien's computer wallpaper, which featured him and his mother in a field of daisies.
"Ah, is this your mom?" Marinette asked him. He nodded his head, yes. "You look so much like her. She looks lovely," Marinette complimented. Adrien smiled at Marinette. Plagg watched Marinette and Adrien while hiding inside one of Adrien's numerous trophies.
Meanwhile, outside the Agreste mansion, Lila tells Hessenpy about Marinette. Hessenpy asks, ''So, this girl is really that scheming and manipulative?'' Lila nods her head yes. ''You care about this boy, huh?'' Hessenpy asks. Lila nods, and Hessenpy sighs. He decides to help her. Hessenpy tied all the trash bins together. The fire caption read, ''Perfectly safe to climb.'' Lila embraced him. ''Thank you,'' Lila told the fire captain.
In Adrien's room, Marinette noticed a picture of Adrien and Kagami. Marinette smiled at the picture of her two friends. The two people went to the table with many screens and compartments and took a seat. An hour later, Nathalie entered the room. ''Time's up, you two,'' Nathalie informed. The two teenagers got up, and Marinette began packing up her belongings. Nathalie left the room to wait outside. Marinette got all of her things together and was stopped by Adrien. She didn't know why she was being stopped. The next thing Marinette knew, Adrien had kissed her on the cheek, a gesture that left her heart racing, her cheeks flushed, and her mind in a whirlwind of emotions, unsure of how to interpret this unexpected but delightful turn of events.
Marinette began to blush after this and ran away from Adrien. After what he did, Adrien began to blush, too. Lila saw this over the top of the wall and took a picture. Then, she sent the photo to all her contacts. Lila hoped to get someone so angry that they would hurt Marinette, but not Adrien.
Chapter 5: Chapter 5: Gabriel & Marinette Deal
Notes:
Marinette might feel OOC in this. If she then, I'm sorry.
Chapter Text
Marinette, a young and talented fashion student, walked out of Collège Françoise Dupont when her phone went off. It was a call from Gabriel Agreste, a renowned fashion designer and the father of her classmate, Adrien.'' Hello, Mr. Agreste,'' Marinette greeted. After a brief conversation, Marinette found herself at Agreste’s mansion, Gabriel's Atelier.
''Thank you for coming, Marinette,'' Gabriel said, his voice laced with worry. Marinette noticed the concern in his eyes, and her curiosity grew.'' I wanted to talk to you about Lila,'' Gabriel said, his voice heavy with apprehension. He was apprehensive about his son, but what could be the reason?
''Lila isn't a great person. She is a bad influence and tries to lie about knowing celebrities and royalty. Also, Miss Liar is trying to date your son for the money and fame,'' Marinette told Gabriel, her voice filled with conviction. He was angry at Lila. The fashion designer devised the idea to ensure Lila's true nature is revealed and Adrien is saved from her manipulations.
''I want you to be my spy,'' Gabriel proposed. Marinette was taken aback, her mind reeling at the unexpected request. How could she even consider betraying Adrien's trust like this? The shock of Gabriel's proposal was like a sudden gust of wind, disrupting the calm of her thoughts. ''What do you mean, Mr. Agreste?'' She asked, her unwavering loyalty to Adrien resonating in her voice.
''I can't shield him forever. The world is full of bad influences; if it’s not Lila, it could be another obsessed fan. I need your assistance, Marinette. I trust you more than anyone among Adrien’s friends. This is a desperate plea from a father,'' Gabriel explained, his worry for Adrien radiating from his every word like a beacon of urgency in the storm of his emotions.
Marinette's mind was a tumultuous sea of conflicting emotions. On one shore, her genuine concern for Adrien's safety and her desire to shield him from Lila's manipulations were crucial. Conversely, the mere thought of betraying Adrien’s trust was a heavy burden. Gabriel seemed to understand her predicament and had a plan in mind, but the weight of her decision was palpable. She is torn between her loyalty to Adrien and her duty to protect him, a moral dilemma that resonates with the audience and makes them empathize with her internal struggle. Her heart was heavy with the weight of her decision, and the audience could sense her emotional turmoil, her fear of losing Adrien's trust, and her determination to do what was right. Her struggle was like a storm raging within her, threatening to consume her every thought and action.
''I accept the spy job,'' Marinette declared, her voice filled with unwavering determination. Gabriel's relief was palpable, and his profound gratitude towards Marinette for accepting the spy job was evident, making the audience feel his trust in her. However, as she made this decision, Marinette couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. She knew that this would change her relationship with Adrien forever. The thought of Adrien's potential disappointment in her was a heavy burden to bear. ''Thank you for accepting the job. To ensure Adrien remains unaware, you will be my fashion intern,'' Gabriel said. The two shook hands, sealing their secret pact, and the audience could sense Marinette's unwavering commitment to the task, aware of the trust Gabriel had placed in her. Gabriel's confidence in her was heavy, but she was determined to carry it with grace and integrity, a testament to their strong bond and her unyielding determination.
''See you soon, Mr. Agreste,'' Marinette says. Marinette leaves Gabriel's Atelier. She begins to walk home, her mind racing with the weight of her decision. The streets were quiet, and the only sound was the echo of her footsteps. As she walked, she couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. Her heart was heavy with the burden of her new role, and the audience could feel the tension building as Marinette's journey home continued, the suspense mounting with each step she took. The darkness of the night seemed to swallow her, amplifying her sense of isolation and the gravity of her decision. The audience was left on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating the next chapter of Marinette's journey and the potential consequences of her decision.
Chapter 6: Chapter 6: Ladybug: Lila Exposed
Chapter Text
We are in Miss Bustier's classroom. Lila takes a piece of paper from Miss Bustier's desk, and then we switch to a locker room. Lila tries to put the answer sheet in Marinette’s backpack. ''LILA ROSSI!'' Someone shouted. It scares anyone who is in the locker room. Everyone in the locker room turned around. It was Miss Bustier who shouted Lila’s name and caught Lila red-handed in the act. The teacher walked over to the two girls. Lila began to sweat, while Marinette didn't know what was happening. ''Lila, you will be coming with me,' Miss Bustier said.
Miss Bustier and Lila walked to her classroom. The two entered, and Miss Bustier was still angry. Lila was getting more worried. ''Lila, explain what you were trying to do,'' the teacher stated. Lila tried to think of a lie. Her lies wouldn't work at all.
''I tried to get Marinette expelled because I hate her,'' Lila replied. Miss Buster was shocked by what Lila said. ''You are going to the principal’s office. I think Mr. Damocles would love to know that you tried to get Marinette expelled,'' Miss Bustier said.
The two left the classroom and went to the principal’s office. Miss Bustier knocked on the door. '' Come in, '' Mr. Damocles said. The two entered the office and took a seat. ''What is the problem, Miss Bustier?'' Mr. Damocles asked. Miss Bustier looked at Lila with a glare.
"Lila, tell Mr. Damocles what you told me," the teacher demanded. Lila took a breath and gave the answer sheet back to the teacher. The liar was about to explain a plan.
"I am planning to get Marinette expelled. My first step was to get the answer sheet. That step was a success. Then, I would put the answer sheet back in Marinette’s pack. I also put 'my grandma’s necklace' in her locker. I put an anonymous note in Miss Bustier’s mailbox. When Marinette and I waited outside your office, I walked down the stairs to make it seem like Marinette pushed me down. Then I acted like Marinette, took the necklace, and went to the locker room. The necklace would drop out of her locker. After all that, you would expel Marinette from everyone,'' Lila explained her plan.
The two adults were in utter disbelief—all because of one plan. Who would be foolish enough to fall for such a scheme?* Cough, Canon Miraculous Ladybug* Cough. The Canon Miraculous Ladybug, a fictional character known for her naivety, is so naive that it's almost painful to watch. Still reeling from the shock, the adults couldn't believe what they heard. Their disbelief was palpable; their trust had been shattered. "I am going to call your mother," Mr. Damocles says, his voice tinged with disbelief.
After a phone call to Miss Rossi, she is in Mr. Damocles's office. Lila explains her plan again. Her mother, who is unaware of Lila's plan, has the same reaction as the two adults. The three snap out of shock. Miss Rossi, deeply disappointed in her daughter's actions, can't hide her feelings. Her disappointment was a heavy cloud over the room, casting a shadow over Lila's future. She thinks it is best to send Lila to a boarding school. In complete agreement with Lila’s mom, the two adults nod in approval.
After that, the two Rossis left the office and walked to the school's entrance. Lila still couldn’t believe her plan had failed. The two arrived at their apartment, and Miss Rossi opened the door. Miss Rossi walked in first and went to her daughter’s room. The mom took Lila’s computer and iPad, sealing the finality of Lila's punishment. The severity of the consequences was palpable, casting a shadow over Lila's future. The finality of her punishment was like a heavy weight on her shoulders, a constant reminder of her actions.
''Give me your phone now!'' demanded Miss Rossi. Lila gave her phone to her mom. Her mom left and took the three technologies to work with her. Miss Rossi locked the apartment after she left.
Lila’s plan to rule the world was over. She lost it all because she tried to lie and expel Marinette. Maybe Lila learned a lesson. Wait, what am I saying? Lila Rossi cares about herself. But maybe, just perhaps, the boarding school will change her for good. Who can tell? The potential for character development was a glimmer of hope in an otherwise bleak situation, offering a ray of hope for Lila's future.
