Chapter Text

A massive school of crystal jellyfish, on the move though the dark waters. 

"The Ocean is a mysterious world". 

Said A female voice.

"In the realm of mortals, beasts, demons, gods, elves, and other forms in the realms.

There is a sunken ship with a hole in it.  

"The humans might think they know and the sea creatures that lived there, many tales, but they are wrong".

Just then Tentacles rising from behind the sunken ship.

"Take the mighty Giant Kraken".

The creature swims around in the dark.

"Bloodthirsty monsters, Sinker of ships, Drowner of sailors".

An eye peeks through the hole of the ship.

"Then".

As it swims away.

At another part of the sea.

A dark waters in the kelp forest. 

"The other The Mermaid".

Tail and fins in the dark then gone.

"folks say luring in sailors with their voices and looks".

As it moves about.

"Vain and selfish".

Then it appaers, face, red eye, moving hair in the dark.

"That's what they say".

The mermaid in the darkness moves up.

"But in real life".

Moving up.

"There is More to them".

At a forest inland. 

"Than tales say".

Another part of the forest, otherworldly creatures are about, all red eyes, in shapes, sizes and colors. 

Then black screen.

Chapter Text

"This tale begins".

Transitioning to a blue hand trying to hit a cellphone as it’s ringing, then picks up.

From a female figure rise up from bed, She sports aquamarine skin, contrasting beautifully with her dark blue shoulder-length tentacle hair and vibrant turquoise eyes. Her most distinctive physical attribute are her ears, which resemble pectoral fins, she answers the phone call.

"Ruby-doo".

"Hey, Margo" the girl replies while holding the phone. 

"I am dying of suspense. What did your mom say?"

"Well, she said yes, but I want to make sure".

"Good idea".

As the blue teenager in her PJS gets out of her bed then grabs her cloths ready for the day.

the Bedroom is filled with drawings, various ocean-them kickknacks, toys of animals, many books, a laptop, pens, felt tips and notebooks.

On the wall is a poster that said prom.

In not long, she looks in the mirror.

Then notes the Turtleneck is done so she pulls it up and smiles.

She ties her shoes, closes her laptop, then she is unside down on her cheer, grabs her backpack, puts her phone in.

She slids of her cheer to stand up, then stretch her left arm to grab the book then plce it in her backpack.

A loud sound

Ruby stops then turns to her window and looks out and smiles.

Far back crashing though the trees and sea fog, that is leaving, long neck, four legs moving, even far back they are big, larger then an elephant and taller then an elephant, osteoderms on it's back, 100 feet long and 80 tons in wight, there is a herd of these large animals, titanosaur dinosaurs.

Then one comes out full body out of the trees and fog, can be seen clearly, a male, as males are larger and more wight then the females of the species. 

The Alamosaurus bellows as sea birds fly above him looking tiny  compare with the titanosaur. 

Ruby watches the great beast.

She turns and sees her doll, a Mermaid with blond hair, aqua tail.

She then picks it up, cuddles the mermaid doll, kisses it on the right cheek and places it on the bed where the pillows are.

Then heads to the door, opens it and turns to look at her doll for the last time, then shuts the door.

In the front room is her mother named Agatha Gillman.

Then she see her daughter Ruby.

"Ah, Ruby, I was about to call you honey" She gets up and heads to the kitchen where another Cecaelia, a male named Arthur.

Who is making breakfast, most are sea-related like seaweed dishes and some cooked fish.

Ruby sat on her chair as breakfast was being made.

"Good morning, Tadpole" Arthur said "Had a good night's sleep?" as he puts pancakes on the plate.

"Sam breakfast" Agatha calls.

At that second Arthur throws the plate then was caught by Sam Gillman from above.

Ruby's younger brother.

He then lands on his chair.

"So sis still thinking of going to prom?" He asked, as he turns around. 

"Yes," Ruby replies to her baby brother.

"Oh Connor so dreamy"

"Sam" Agatha said like really son?.

Ruby picks up her phone to cheek for any news.

Agatha goes to Ruby.

"Honey, can I ask you somthing?".

Ruby turns her head to her mom.

"You still want to go to prom?" Agatha asked, while ago Ruby asked and even made a video, she said no, but this time after an event that deeply hurted Ruby, Agatha felt she was been mean about it and knew how much Ruby wanted to go.

"Mom this is my chance to fit in" Ruby replies "By going to prom".

Agatha knows what Ruby is talking about.

"Oh Ruby, Don't sell yourself short, You're amazing at math" she tried to cheer her up "I mean look" turned her face to the wall full of medals and trophies with big one above them all done by Ruby "You're the mathlete champion".

Ruby holds the books in a dreamily way

"I'm the reason Connor's passing algebra".

Agatha smiles proudly.

"I met your father in this city and had a crush on him," Agatha said, going to her loveable husband "15 years ago in this very town".

"I'm too glad I did too In love" he pulls her close and they kiss.

Sam spit his food out like disguise.

Ruby looks back at her phone then see a video she cheeks, then otherworldy sounds appaers.

Arthur and Agatha froze, glance at each other then back to Ruby.

She keeps watching it the demon is a Chimera, a species with three heads that looks like a lion, goat and snake, it's attacking a camp sit as the lion's head roars, the goat casts thunderbolts, and the snake lunch to bite.

For the past three days, demons have been appearing here at Oceanside, It was rare for a demon to show up here, but now reports were coming in of demons, the first was a pack of goblins, then after a cyclops, and not long after, more came.

Ruby looked worried.

Agatha goes to her.

"You still looking about about them?" Agatha asked.

"You said before we are hiding from monsters of the sea and I can't go in the Ocean, but what about demons?" Ruby asked worried.

"You don't need to worry about them" Agatha tried to convince Ruby.

"But what if a demon appeared?".

As she places more books in her bag.

"Honey you don't need to worry about demons there are worser monsters than them like those in the ocean who want to hurt Cecaelias like us," Agatha said, "this is where we belong, Oceanside is our home".

Ruby gets ready to go but then.

"And Ruby if prom is on a boat don't go in the water ok?"

"Ok," Ruby replies as she place the last book in her bag. 

"Promise me you will not go in the ocean?" Agatha is hopping Ruby will so she can let her daughter go to prom.

"I promise".

Agatha then hugs Ruby close.

Then grabs her badge that has a dragon on it, she is an agent of an elven force, the vanguard.

Sam throws dishes to his dad as Arthur puts the dishes in the sink.

"Gillman dishes to Gillman"

"The fadeaway at the buzzer, and it's good!".

They fist bumped away.

"Woo-hoo!".

"Limb up eveyone" Agatha said as they all stood up.

"Let all have a good day," Arthur said.

"Does this not bother you, about demons sudding showing up? out of nowhere" Ruby asked worried.

"They mostly stay away from towns and cities you don't need to worry as long as you're not out of town" Agatha said.

Arthur nodes.

Ruby looks away for a few seconds.

"Yeah ok".

Agatha with a big smile then say.

"And remeber" Arthur said.

"If any human asked if we are like the tales".

"We're nothing like in the tales," All said at once.

Agatha went to her job and she put the badge on her right chest, which has a dragon on it.

Arthur stayed home to make a live stream of his channel bottle-up and models of the realms.

Ruby and Sam left for school.

Oceanside City 

In the coast and lands of Oceanside, the city has lots of sea themes to it. 

Ruby looks around, and other people are looking like usual, she puts her headphones on, as all around her people are talking of her, demons.

"I can't believe they are here," a woman said.

"I heard a Cyclops attacked a truck this morning," a man said to one of the other men working.

"What of that serpent with four heads," another woman said "I heard it's near the woods".

Since Friday last days there been strange reports of demons and now word of them all around the city like wildfire. 

Ruby is walking through an alleyway on her way to school.

Then a giant boat-shaped vehicle comes to a halt right in front of her.

Ruby flinches, dropping her headphones as she comes face to face with a wood-carved mermaid statue embedded into the bus, two orange tentacles on each side, the mermaid looks really bad.

The people aboard question what had just happened.

"Woah, what's happening?" a woman asked.

A sailor a large man, looked down at Ruby, grabbing his speaker angrily.

"Apologies for the unplanned interruption, folks".

He blocks the speaker with his hand.

"Well, look what the tide dragged in" Gordon said with disguise.

Ruby immediately stiffens up. "Ahoy, Mr".

Attempt to correct herself.

"Captain Gordon Lighthouse"

Ruby salutes him.

"Sir".

She tries to walk away as fast as she could.

But Gordon had other plans.

"Gillman girl," Gordon said.

Ruby stops at her tracks moves her head a bit.

"Yes?" cocked her head.

It was not only Gordon looking at her, all on his bus boat are too.

"On the left, you can see the Gillman girl, she is from a family of her kind in Oceanside, One is a monstrous giant Kraken said to be the greatest warrior of the sea, I know she is and there lot are sea monsters".

"We are not like from tales you humans made up" Ruby said to defend herself "And who are you calling her a sea monster".

"They are devils of the sea and just like the mermaids".

"No, mermaids are not evil" Ruby calls out.

"The kid's right".

All turn and see a woman like being.

An elf is nearby, wearing ranger suit.

"You have no idea what a mermaid is, you will learn that one day," she said "or be your end by one".

Ruby looks angry at Gordon.

"You know nothing about them" Ruby snaps.

"They always said that," Gordon said.

"It's not a joke, Gordon!" The ranger yells. "There are demons about now, and no one knows why it's happening, with the demon rising, the mermaids would appaer too and if you are not careful your pride will be your end", the elf snapped with narrow eyes.

Gordon shrugs it off.

"I got my eye on you Gillman girl" he looks away then back at her pionts his finger "And my other eye too" angry at his eye.

He got the microphone.

"Our tour begins, where 15 years ago the sea monster appeared" as he starts to drives off.

Ruby just smiled and waved, smiled and waved.

"And to your right, Oceanside's best saltwater taffy, Ask for the Gordon Lighthouse discount".

Ruby has known him for a long time; Gordon works as a tour guide of Oceanside, he has been a spike on the Gillman's side, one time ago he was friends with Arthur but not anymore.

Ruby heads to school.

Gets her phone out to cheek. 

News comes up one a video she cheeks it out.

Pressed play and sees a Cyclops on the road, the demon look a bit like a elephantine, pair of tusks, one eye and has a club for a weapon.

Then at the crosswalk, a few humans looked at Ruby.

She stood up straight.

Ruby saw on her phone a new student will appaer today its a girl with red hair, Ruby just keeps going to school.

As she pass Mosasaur Inn the logo of a green Mosasurus.

Said new girl.

In not long arrives at her school called Oceanside High, the high school in the city.

The logo is a sea warrior with a trident of gold with waves around him.

Bove in the skies are sea birds and flying reptiles called Pterosaurs, the species in the sky are Pteranodons one large male and others females who are smaller with a small crest. 

Ruby enters she stands out of the whole school.

She heads to her locker.

"Hay look is the sea monster's daughter," a boy said

"Math nerd," a girl said in a rude.

Ruby does her best to ignore them, she can easily bring them done as they are mortals, but Ruby keeps cool. 

"See you later mermaid dreamer," the girl said mean way.

Ruby opens her locker.

Then three kids appaer, they are her friends and allies, the only ones beisdes her crush.

Margot, Bliss and Trevin. 

"Hey guys" Ruby said. 

"Yo" Trevin replies. 

"Greetings" Bliss replies.

"So, how did it go?" Margot' with right brow up.

"Yes. I’m dying to find out" Bliss agrees with Margot.

"Same. I’ve been stress-gaming" Trevin nods. 

All waited. 

"I’ll go to prom".

"Yes!" Margot jumsp up with one fist up.

Trevin and bliss looked at each other with big smiles. 

"I't good to know you mom is finaly letting you go" Margot said "After all the parties you finaly get to go".

"My grandmother's beach party" Bliss said. 

Ruby's mind thinks of all theose parties and events she never gets to go, beach parties, birthday parties, animal parties and lot more. 

"This is not just any party, it's prom and you get to be part of it like us" Margot said. 

"Yes" Ruby replies "and I promise mom I will not go in the ocean".

As they get their things ready.

"I still can't believe there are demons here" Margot said "It's rare for a demon to be here, but lastly there have been more"

"A sigh of darkness coming," Bliss said.

"Bliss!" Margot scoles her "Really!.

"Sorry," Bliss replies then looks at her friends "I did hear from my grandmother that there may be a hydra here".

"Hydra?" Ruby jumps in surpirse then looks with shock at Bliss.

"I'm not sure if there is a hydra they might mistake it for another serpent demon," Margot said looking at Bliss. 

"I'm sure anyone can tell a Hydra thanks to its heads," Trevin said, "as they are one of the few species with more than one head".

"Hydras" Bliss said with a smile "My grandmother told me of them, look like a serpent with four heads, black as night, white as snow, very poisonous and huge in size". 

Ruby shrugs this off lens her back on the locker.

"I sure there is a hydra, would be cool to see a demon up close" Bliss said "and personal".

"You are crazy" Margot said looking right at Bliss "They will kill you in a second" then turns to Ruby.

"Mom told me I don't have to worry, normally demons stay away from towns and cities" Ruby tries to not think of them.

Margot thinks of ideas for Ruby and understands romance.

"I'm just going to look for Connor and-"

Just then, a boy appeared Connor on his skateboard, got off it and appeared right to Ruby.

"Connor" Ruby said dreamly. 

Fade to a fantasy of Ruby proposing to Connor. 

 "Hello" by Calabasas plays

♪ I really really wanna get to know you ♪

Connor rides his skateboard towards her, people flying away from him after they form heart shapes with their bodies. The tiles start to fly out from under him as he jumps off his board, swimming towards Ruby mid-air. The two start to dance together in the colorful sparkling void created by Ruby’s mind.

♪ Hello, hello… ♪

"Connor, would you do me the honor of going to human prom with me?" Ruby asked in her fantasy. 

"Oh, Ruby, yes. Oh, you’ve made me the happiest guy on dry land, Ruby" Connor replies. 

"Connor".

The two hug each other

"Ruby. Ruby?"

The song slows, abruptly stopping as we are sent back to reality. Ruby is actually hugging someone’s backpack, still staring at Connor.

"Hi"

"Connor’s here" Ruby still dreamy.  

"Uh, yeah. Connor’s here".

Connor pionts to himself. 

He points to himself, awkwardly chuckling. Ruby glances at the backpack she’s been hugging, realizing she’d been merely daydreaming about asking Connor out.

"OH! Oh. Hi. Hi, hi, hi" Ruby said nervely

Connor chuckles.

"Uh, we’re still on for our tutoring sesh later, right?" Connor asked 

"Oh," Ruby laughs, "Oh, yeah, Connor, We are on like polygons".

"Right," Connor said then looked nervous he wanted to ask her somthing.

"I want to ask somthing"

Both are about to say.

"No you go first" both said at once "Your turn"

Margot and the rest watch.

"Ok," Both said.

Connor felt more nervous.

So did Ruby.

"Let's talk about it after class," Connor said.

"Sure thing," Ruby said.

Connor gets his things and leaves.

"Well this was bad" Bliss said "like in movies and novels I see".

"They tried," Trevin said "They are math champions but Connor is a popular guy".

Margot feels this is her duty to help this awkward romance as if it's a movie.

"Ruby" Margot said getting things out of her locker like mad "Your promposal There are so many other options" Gets out a unicycle "as I got from clown school".

Ruby is like what?

"Maybe like a balloon or the confetti cannon" She gets out one and shows it to Ruby "You just ask Connor to prom" steps closer witha. smile "push this button" place her hand on it "and the confetti will rain down like closing night on Broadway" open her arms up.

"I'm just going to ask him calm and reasonable," Ruby said "Personally, I think I would use that to scar off a Suchomimus at a dock then use it that could harm Connor as it did to a Majungasaurus days ago".

Days ago a Majungasaurus was near the beach and a boy used a confetti cannon and got it on the water, this angered the dinosaur, lukely the boy escaped.

"I understand, I can see that happening," Margot says as she puts her party stuff back in "See you after class, I might join you if you like a hangout buddy after, I will see Kayla"

Ruby felt happy about it feels things were going right, but still be nice to have a friend.

In class, all started their schoolwork while Ruby was daydreaming about Connor.

She had a crush on him for three months and she had many crushes on both boys and girls before.

After class, Ruby went to find Connor.

Heading to the railing on the side of the school, near the ocean and from here can see other parts of the land even wildlife.

Coast Plains 

A herd of Parasaurolophus walkeri feeding and making sounds from their crests.

Three Alamosaurus on the move though the grass plains. 

A small herd of Edmonotasurus annectens drinking the freshwater rivers running down the plains, as deer feed and drink with them, the deer are small compare to these large animals. 

One male rears up to look around, males have comb on their heads while the females do not. 

As two males and three females feeding on the grass. 

Three Triceratops prorsus are heading to the beach while one triceratops does not move.

Ruby finds it odd one did not go with the others.

Above her a group of female Pteranodons flying to where the sea is to hunt for fish.

A Suchomimus at a river leadning to the sea, looking for fish to eat, it's eyes moving as does it's jaws. 

Sea birds on the railing.

Margot is nearby smiling and gives a thumbs-up, like go on, go on.

Ruby is now standing a few feet away from Connor.

Connor's ending a conversation with one of his friends, unaware of her presence. He's sitting on a bench just in front of the railings

"You gotta practice, The trick is to reject the concept of gravity" Connor speaks to a friend "It doesn't exist, It's not real".

"All right. Peace out" the boy said as he leaves.

"Yo, hit me up later" Connor replies.

Ruby looks back, Margot has both thumbs up like go on.

Then she walking towards Connor.

"Hey, Connor".

He see her.

"Ruby," He said "You want to ask me?".

"So Connor I was going to ask you if you want..to…to".

Some students started looking at them.

Margot looked excited like come on, her shoulder went up and down.

"Come to prom with me" She embraced herself for the worst.

Connor looked surprised and then smiled.

"I tried to ask you too"

Both froze off this.

"And is yes".

Ruby's eyes widen.

A lot of kids said at once.

"What!" with disbelief.

"Yes", Margot said with one fist up.

"Ha, guys the new girl is here" a boy calls.

They all leave.

"I'll leave you two alone," Margot said "I see my girlfriend see you later" She left to meet up with Kalya.

The two are alone now.

Ruby notes the lone Triceratops moving back with fear as if does not want to get near somthing.

Ruby moves to where it is.

Connor looked at her.

"Are you ok?"

Ruby starts to freak out.

Connor looks at the alone dinosaur and sees it moving back, which means maybe there are predators about.

"Maybe there is a " he was going to say the T rex.

Then a sound.

Both heard it.

"Maybe just a snake," Connor thought, there are many snakes in forms and sizes on Oceanside.

He turns to see what if is.

Ruby starts to feel not so good.

"Maybe a titanoboa got here?" Connor gets closer to the edge to see "Maybe a Palaeophis got on-".

Ruby's eyes widen the sound did not sound like any serpent she knows

But then he saw somthing black, scales, as it moves up.

Before he can act the black scales hit the wall send a shock wave.

It made Ruby moves back and made Connor fall of the railing.

"Connor!" Ruby screams.

Others turn around and see him fall into the rough ocean.

Ruby hold the railing see Connor's boad sink into the sea, Ruby climbs on the railing.

"Ok, I can do this" She was about to jump.

"Get off" a male yells.

Before Ruby could replay she fell off the railing and into the sea screaming then splash.

"Ruby!" Margot ran to where she was then Bliss and Trevin came to her looking down.

"Oh no" Bliss said "I know Ruby can't be harmed by flesh beings, but Connor can"

"He needs to get out or be killed by mosasaurus!" a boy yells.

He is not joking as large marine animals are known to come here from time to time and reason there is a fence near a beach for a good reason.

In the rough water, Ruby swims and then sees Connor, Ruby reaches for his hand, the waves are rough on the boy but not Ruby as she is a creature of magic, but her body starts to glow then her eyes are purple.

Then a huge pink pulse emits from her, affecting the surrounding waters and even being seen from the surface, all throughout the waters of Oceanside

As the blast goes forward, a jellyfish glows, then leaves in the dark waters.

Connor is sinking then a large purple grabs him.

On the Pier of the school is a male Pteranodon.

Then he flies off as the purple things appaers and place Connor on the pier.

Connor wakes up and starts couthing out sea water.

Someone walks to him.

Connor sees a red hair.

Meanwhile Ruby crawls oup to a rock then falls down on her back lays against it. 

"What just happened?" 

Then somthing in her mind and horror on her face.

"Connor!" then gets up and runs.

Just as she left, moving black scales appaered with white underbelly scales, then teeth as it hissing angry. 

Chapter Text

The schoolyard

Ruby runs fast in panic.

"Connor!" Ruby calls out.

Then see crowd gathering.

Ruby runs fast pasting though so many students and teachers.

"The new girl save Connor" a girl said amazed.

"Connor?" Ruby looking around.

"She's a hero" a second girl's voice said.

Ruby looking around.

Going though the many members of the crowd.

"There you are" Margot push two out of the way "I'm so glad you're safe, you made the story of the year, Connor almost drowned, but you save him I saw you".

She silently walks past Margot in her shock, making her way toward the boy. 

"Connor?" Ruby runs to him then stops "Are you ok?" she asked worriedly.

"Ya" he replies "I saw somthing black like snake skin, then next I fell"

"Black?" Ruby asked worried "snake?".

"Next the new girl".

"New girl" Ruby thought turning her head to see the redhead girl who had taken both here.

It's the same one from the photo talking about a new student.

The new girl turns around.

"The new girl" she said.

Ruby looks surprised. 

Then looks at her hand is glowing.

She turns starts to panic but.

"Are you ok?" a voice.

Ruby turns around at the new girl.

"We have not met," she said "I'm Chelsea, Chelsea Van Der Zee and you are?".

"I'm Ruby Gillman" Ruby replies nervously "I'm a Ceacalia"

"I heard of you", Chelsea replies "pecture this I introduced myself as new, but reasonable".

She turns her head to Connor and bends down to him.

"You nearly drowned, but you were saved by" She turns her head to Ruby "Ruby Gillman".

Most look at Ruby with disbelief.

"No, it was the New girl that saved him" a girl calls out.

"She pushed him into the sea to die to the waters and the beasts," another girl said.

"First I did not, it was Ruby not me," Chelsea said making clear the truth "I will not take credit for her saving him".

"Ruby had nothing to do with his fall, she saved him," Margot said "I saw it, it's the story of the year! Margot does her best to defened her friend.

"She did so she can be the hero," a boy said in a mean way.

Ruby notes her right hand glowing more.

Everyone can see it.

Ruby starts to freak out.

Then somthing went in her mind.

"Connor you said you saw somthing black snakeskin?" Ruby asked with fear in her voice. 

Connor looked worried, of what she just said. 

"Yes, I thought was a sea animal" Connor replies "Mosasaurus hoffmanni?".

Ruby starts to freak out more.

The hissing sound, the scared triceratops, black snakeskin.

It was no animal.

Then fear.

Ruby freaks out.

"There is a demon" in panic "here?".

The students are like are you for real?.

"Lier!" one boy yells.

And most laugh.

Chelsea, Connor, Margot, Kayla, Bliss and Trevin did not laugh.

Margot pulls her girlfriend close in fear to protect her.

This is no joke. 

Connor looked scared.

"A Demon here?!" Biss said surprised of this.

"That little freak," a boy said.

Chelsea's eyes widen at this and shocked by what is happening.

"What's your deal?" one girl asked rudely.

"You have no place here Cecaelia" a boy said rude. 

"She's a coward" a girl said rude. 

Ruby's mind and in her eyes changes around her, freaking out.

Chelsea looked worried.

"Are you ok?" Chelsea asked as she step forward "You really look like you've been through something".

Ruby stepping back

"Yeah, I really got to go. Now!".

Then sees somthing black moving not far and coming from the steps leading to the pier.

Then a hiss sound, sound similar to a snake. 

Connor sees this, his eyes in fear.

Then a head rises up. 

Margot and all the students and teachers see this.

Black scales, white undersacles with dark grayish orange running the sides of the serpent demon.

The head looked like a serpent's head and most of its neck, red eyes, hissing.

Then another head rising.

Ruby moves back in fear.

Now is.

Four heads of the demon.

"Hydra!" Bliss said called out.

The Hydra then hiss roars with rage.

The students and teachers ran for the building.

The Hydra gets closer hiss roaring as it near, it was larger then a truck, it's heads reach higher then an elephant.

Bliss stood there to her fear and wonder.

In her eyes it looked massive bigger then snakes of the animal kingdom, hundreds of feet long, but this was not true.

But was still big then any snakes, as it hiss roars it's teeth that look like from snakes the wap their prey with their bodies to crush them to death.

Trevin grabs Bliss as the hydra's body nearly slams at her.

Bliss still could not beleive, she was so close to a otherworldly creature and not of nature.

"Everyone inside!" Oceanside High Staff Member (over P.A.).

The hydra towers them all.

The main head turns to Ruby narrowing its red eyes on her.

Ruby then runs for.

"Ruby!" Connor calls out reaching his right hand, as the others take him away. 

The hydra turns around, but then the main head looks at Chelsea.

Both eye to eye.

Then turns to go after Ruby. 

As the kids ran into the school budiling the only one not fleeing is Chelsea.

Chelsea looked worried as she watches Ruby flee. 

As Ruby fast, the rest of the kids flee into the school.

Margot grabs Bliss as she is still in fear and wonder, she never though she be so close to a demon, a big one, looking like from a movie but it's real, very real. 

At the same time at the other side of city, where on an island are many houses. 

Agatha is there to talk to two friends and elf Vanguard.

"Aggie" Doug said a man with him his wife who is bearing their child.

"Things are changing" Janice said with owrry in her okks 

She looks down at the back down below where the stairs lead to a group of sea lions.

"You picked the right place to rise a family" Agatha said she feels this place is home, land, sea and sky all in one.

Aagtha chuckes then looks worried she turns.

"I'm sure things are going to be fine, it's demons we are talking about" Agatha turns to them.

The elves glace at each other.

They know it's only the beginning. 

A Sorceress who is floating, near by had a look of, not anymore. 

The library door.

There's a teal sign that says {Library is closed}.

Ruby runs up to the door, opens it then shuts it behind her in fear, runs through the darkened library, over a ton of the prom decorations such as balloons and boxes Looking around and glancing at her still glowing hand, spotting an enclosed part of the library via bookshelves.

Ruby runs over, diving behind the book cart and placing books atop her glowing hand.

"Why is this happening, why I'm glowing? Why is there a freaking Hydra!" looking all around "Here of all places!".

Her fear grows as she hears hiss roars.

She takes out her phone

"Call Mom" Ruby panics.

"Video call Connor" Automated Voice.

"What?" Ruby panics as she hears more hissing from outside "I didn't say that. Call Mom".

Connor answers the call via FaceTime.

"Ruby, where'd you go?" Connor asked with worry.

"Whoa" Ruby smugly in a fake way "Hey".

Connor coughs as Ruby panics

"End call, end call, end call" Ruby whispering trying to end the call so she can call her mom about the hydra.

"Wait! I wanted to ask you some…". 

"I'm going through a tunnel!" Ruby in panic.

Then call ends.

"Call mom" then a thought "I can't call mom, she lied to me!".

Suddenly, her legs extend in length and size, going down the bookshelves and somehow gaining a third one.

"There's three of them?"

Then felt somthing.

"Ooh, this is a nightmare".

She starts to get big.

"No no no no" Her clothes magically vanished, and as she got bigger, her colour changed to shades of purple.

The ceiling lights start to interfere with her newfound abilities, flickering. 

A single book falling off of the shelf. This alerts the librarian.

"Hello?" the Librarian asked.

She walks through the library as all is silent, seeing the book that had fallen.

"Pride and Prejudice. Oh" she laughs "You're a long way from home" she picks it up "What are you doing in True Crime?".

The librarian places the book back, and just as she turns it promptly falls out of place alongside a few other books. The blue glow from Ruby can be seen through the hole the books created. She picks up the book again, looking through the hole to see a… giant purple tentacle? The librarian looks up, putting on her glasses and seeing Ruby.

Ruby had her finger to her lips.

"Shh" trying to keep her from screaming so the hydra does not know where they are.

The Librarina screams

Ruby screams.

The both scream.

Outside the hydra stops, the main head's eyes widen then narrow hissing angry as it turns heading to the library.

The kids were getting inside the school.

Just then the Library burst open outcomes Ruby through the roof.

Now massive in size screaming.

All stop to see.

The hydra stops in it's tracks all four heads's eyes widen then look of anger.

All the town heard the scream.

Agatha who was with three elves, froze, she saw Ruby from the building.

The demon siren was on.

Loud sound reach all of the city. 

Her fear grows there is a demon here.

Agatha sees Ruby and the Hydra on the move. 

Looks of horror, oh no!

Then she ran to her car and drives fast, with out a single word to her elf allies. 

Then sees Arthur at their house.

"It can't be," he said.

He ran into the house, then grabbed an elven greatsword.

Then place it on his back

As he ran to the car.

Not far, on the bus boat near the school. 

"A lot of you have been asking about my beard regimen" Gordon saying rubbing his beard.

"Do you see that?" a woman said.

Gordon turns then looks with horror

"Giant Kraken ahoy!" he calls out from his bus boat "The Gillman girl is a giant Kraken just like her mother".

Turns to the others gravs a woman's phone.

"She's coming for me!".

Then get the wheel and drives fast. 

Ruby looking down and stepping out of the broken remains of the library, tipping over the shipment containers that lay on top of the building, causing water to burst out of one of them.

The librarian screams as she runs off with a cart in hand, going up the steps as the books all fall out.

Passing by Chelsea who looks at her, turning around, seemingly looking for Ruby.

Ruby turns around looks up.

Prom balloons float away; she destroys the prom place.

"Ruby?". 

Ruby looks and sees the students far back with them is Connor.

Would this get any worse?

She glanced down and saw Chelsea.

Immediately trying to hide. She whimpers as she looks around, looking for a place to hide before seeing far back the ruins of the lighthouse, that could work. 

Before she could flee, but then.

"Prom Monster" a boy calls his name is Kevin, it was that boy and a bully.

Before Ruby can see anything she turns and see the hdyra looking at her with narrow red eyes.

Ruby then flees.

The hydra hiss roaring with rage.

Ruby then sees Gordon Lighthouse who just arrived and the kids of the school all see her.

"Ruby?" Chelsea calls out.

She makes a run for it, to escape from the hydra and Everyone.

The hydra goes after her but then stops.

The main head turns its head to Chelsea, red eyes resting on the new girl, not out of rage, but somthing else, and then the hydra leaves.

Chelsea then runs fast.

Connor can only watch as Ruby flees.

"Ruby!" He calls out as others grab him and take him away.

The demon sirens and voice calls out.

'Danger demon about!!'.

"Ruby" Connor looked of horror his friend was endager. 

Chapter Text

At the same time, Agatha drives fast on the road with Arthur, she stops at Sam's school, both parents see the hydra is heading this way.

The demon serpent is moving fast, faster then any serpent of nature. 

"I'll get Ruby, you get Sam!" Agatha yells in panic.

Arthur gets out of the car with his elven greatsword.

He runs to Sam's school.

The hydra then appears all four heads hiss with rage.

Arthur readies himself as his elven great sword changes to fire magic, Arthur has battled hydras before.

The Hydra hiss raors at him, all red eyes narrow at him. 

Arthur has his Greatsword out, now on fire. 

"Come on" Arthur knows he has to do this. 

Agatha drives fast. 

In the wild and drives fast on the road while trying to call Ruby.

As the car pass a pair of Medusaceratops on the left, the animals just under the trees feeding on flowers.

Agatha's phone is rining, she is trying to call Ruby.

"Pick up, Ruby. Pick up. Oh, pick up, Ruby. Pick up!" Agatha panics as she tries to call Ruby "Okay, Agatha, you can figure this out, Everything is gonna be fine".

Then sees harpies that look like half-woman bird demons in the skies above.

"Oh come on" as she drives yep that goes that.

She going the forest area, though the road. 

There a sigh said wildlife look out!, with a red mark a warning sigh that has a black Smilodon on it. 

"All I got to do is get Ruby out of there before-"

Then she stops the car, did she hit somthing, an animal as there normally animals out here she gets out and heads to the leaves to see what it is.

But then rise.

Agatha tries to grab her weapon as she thinks it's a demon maybe an ogre?, a troll? A ghoul? or another Hydra? or a Cyclops?, Chimera?, Catobelpeas?.

But then the leaves are gone.

"Hi sis" it's another Cecaelia a male "Good old Uncle Brill is here" as he hugs her "to see his favorite niece Ruby".

Agatha's looks utter shock.

"What!" then pulls him up "Brill?

"I finally found you" Brill gets excited "After all these years".

"What are you doing out here?!" Agatha panics.

"Any way".

Agatha starts to freak out.

"I cam to say".

This can not be happening? Agatha though.

"Congratulations Ruby's all grown-up and turned into a giant…"

Agatha covers his mouth with both of her hands.

"Shh, shh, shh" looking around so no know hears this "Not so loud".

Then her eyes she sees another demon near and it's coming to the road, sees a club, thick elephantine like feet, a hand rest on a tree four fingers, then. 

It's a large demon with the looks of an elephant, a pair of tusks, one red eye and a club weapon.

A Cyclops.

15 feet tall demon.

It looks angry as it slams its club down. 

Agatha grabs Brill and gets him in the car.

She gets in and then drives off into a tunnel as the Cyclops burst from the trees then gets on the road.

The demon roars.

As Agatha keeps driving fast.

Ruby is away from town trying to keep low through the forest.

Then she rises up but then sees.

"You got to be kidding me!"

Ruby sees packs of Goblins, humanoid demons, roughly size of a child are on the road. 

As a Pack of Wargs, wolf like demons near a road.

Ruby moves right trying to avoid the demons, as best she can though the trees.

Trying to hide her new size.

Agatha drives fast.

"What are you doing here, Brill?" Agatha questions.

"We felt the pulse" he replies in an excited way.

Agatha froze in horror.

"So mom knows?".

"Uh Ya "Leans closder to Agatha then looks forward moving his right hand  "she sent me to get Ruby".

Agatha then looked angry, of course, she would send her brother, instead of herself or one of her warriors. 

"Brill Now is not the time" Agatha snaps "There are demons about and for the last few days, they have been showing up"

"So they were not here before?" Brill asked.

"I don't know, no one knows", Agatha replies "Why is this happening, why the demons are here, i don't know, Just help me find Ruby before they do, they will kill her".

Agatha drives fast to continue the search and hopes to get to her before the demons do.

"Why would you live near the ocean?".

Agatha didn't replay.

"Sis, why did you leave 15 years ago, that night, you vanished after the battle?" Brill tries agian "You left home?".

Agatha still did not reply.

She did not want to talk about it as her hands gripped the steering wheel harder.

"Is it about mom?" Brill asked "Is it to do with the Mer-"

Agatha burst in anger, her head turns to Brill.

"Listen, Brill!" Agatha snaps at her brother "You're here just to be on that monster's good side, lie all you want! "

Brill looked shocked and stopped.

He can tell from his sister's eyes that it is true, but mostly, he misses his sister and has not seen her in 15 years and never got the chance to see his niece.

"Where could she be" Agatha looks.

But then Brill gets his head out of the window.

"Whoa there she is" Brill pionts out.

Agatha sees Ruby heading to the ruined lighthouse as there lots of sea fog comes in. 

Her eyes narrow then turns the car around, heading to the ruined Lighthouse, as more fog rolls in.

Ruined Lighthouse 

Ruby hids at the small Lighthouse as sea fog rolls in.

Said lighthouse is in ruins most of it is black done not by natural means done by a Dragon 15 years ago by its fire, no one comes here, the houses around it most in ruins done by the dragon's fire long ago, many called the place cursed, is why no one try ti reclaim the lighthouse.  

Then the sound of a car stopping, Ruby turns her head and sees it.

"Oh no" Looked away.

Agatha gets out of her car, Bill is about to get out.

"Wow" Brill said in amazement.

But Agatha shuts the doors.

"Brill stay" she said like not now.

Brill would protest, but he sees Agatha needs to do this.

Agatha heads to where Ruby is.

Ruby sees her.

"Oh no".

Panics and tries to hide.

Agatha placed her right hand on her head.

"I can still see you," Agatha said "and so can the demons".

Agatha though this is a bad place to hide and not a good idea to be out here with demons about, all the reports told her, of demons out here.

Ruby still hides at the ruined lighthouse mostly where the black is done by dragon fire.

As more fog comes in blocking most of the view of Oceanside, they are done south at the east are the mountains covered in snow, and most of the land is forest and plains.

"Ruby come out here we need to get out of here right now" Agatha has her hands on her hips, "Before any of the demons see you" She knows it's a matter of time before they know this.

Ruby whimpers in fear looking at her.

While looking out for demons.

Ruby looks away with shame.

"I'm a monster".

Agatha froze and looked with sorrow.

"Oh honey, You're not a monster, not even close," Agatha said "You're my daughter".

Ruby turns her head side still scared.

"I don't want to yell, or the demons will know we are here, can we talk?" no replies "Please" Agatha's voice is full of sorrow "Just talk to me".

She had hoped Ruby would place her hand to where she was not on.

Agatha looks up and then goes up to the ruins, seeing the walls from white to black done by dragon fire, years ago.

Brill watches from the car.

Agatha went up to higher ground right to Ruby, eye to eye.

"Hay there my girl" Agatha said.

"I know you're mad at me for going into the Ocean," Ruby said, not looking at her "Connor nearly drowned and the hydra".

"It's ok" Agatha tries to calm her down "You did the right thing, I would have done the same".

Ruby gets more of her head to Agatha.

"When the hydra attacked the school and went after me" Ruby explained "I hid the library then in turn into this"

"A Giant Kraken" Agatha said "Don't worry about it we will find a way".

"They said I am a monster" Ruby said sadly "Beside Connor, Margot, Bliss, Trevin and the new girl".

"New girl?" Agatha looked surprised "What's her name?"

"Chelsea", Ruby replies "She defended me, and when most say she saved Connor and thinks I'm a liar, she said it was me that saved him".

Agatha is surprised.

"That's good ", Agatha gets closer "Right now, I need to get you out of here".

"Mom, look at me I still have this", as tears run down "I'm the prom monster".

Agatha then hugged Ruby's face.

"No, you not", Agatha said "You will be back to the main form in no time".

Has her hands in her pockets with a smile.

"Take me I'm a giant kraken, and I can change form any time," Agatha tells her "This is your first time just like me I was a rack, rubbish at it".

"You was?" Ruby asked "But mom, you're a warrior".

"I'm still am" Then sits done "I not going anywhere, I will not leave you to the demons, I will not let any of them hurt you" then shows her blade showing she will protect her.

"I'm really glad you're here Mom," Ruby said.

Agatha looks into the distance and sees the city not far from here as the fog rolls in, then looks to one side east.

Oceanside natural park full of life, sees Brachiosaurus, Apatosaurus, Sinoceratops, Ankylosaurus, Iguanodon, Baryoynx and Edmontosaurus regalis and one bull Columbian mammoth. 

As far back three Quetzalcoatlus on the wet plains, animals as tall as a giraffe.

One picks up a fish as another one lands near a flock of female Pteranodons and many sea birds move out of the way, it then folds it's wings under it's body, then walks on all fours. 

Just then see an Allosaurus walking on the fog covered beach.

Agatha hears sound of grey whales not far at the ocean.

This gives Agatha an idea.

"Do you remember when you found that whale on the beach?".

"You mean Clarence J. Whifferton?".

"How could I forget?" Agatha chucked "Clarence J. Whifferton, You stood next to him until the elves came and picked him up like it was nothing back to the sea".

"And I stayed with him to keep the dinos away".

"And you before refused to leave him so the Allosaurus would not attack him" Agatha said.

"You mean Allosaurus fragilis and there was a pack of them"

"They did want to eat him but they don't live in packs"

Ruby starts to change.

"Oh, yeah" Ruby starts to shrink "I taken care of him".

"I know you did" Agatha hopes for her hand.

"You once got me a whale-themed hoodie that was so big it still used as I changed".

"Yep"

Agatha smiles as she jumps down onto the floor.

A bit of fog clears.

Ruby looks at herself.

"Yes! I'm normal. Well, almost normal. Thank you"

Ruby hugs her mother.

"Trust me, it's gonna be okay" Agatha hugs back.

They let go and then head to the car.

Then Ruby sees.

"Mom who's this guy"

"Your uncle Brill" Agatha replies.

"Hi Ruby" Brill said "Nice to finally meet you"

"Mom, what's going on?" Ruby asked.

Before Agatha could reply then a sound.

"Ruby get in the car".

Before Ruby could say anything.

Then, bursting from the fog, a demon that looked like a humanoid ape, half its body covered in fur and with horns on its head and top neck.

It then roars.

An Ogre

Brill screams, as he gets in the car in panic.

Ruby and Agatha get in the car.

Agatha starts and then drives off fast.

As the ogre roars.

The car moves fast, Agatha looks b ack then turns see another demon near the road.

It has three heads one in the front, one on the back and one as the tail, a Lion, goat and snake. 

A Chimera

Agatha drives right as the lion head of the demon roars loud.

"Ok keep calm" Agatha said as she kept driving as fast as she could.

Then sees a Cyclops on the left as she drives pass it.

As the sea fog rolls in.

Drove back home, they had no time, someone like Gordon to demons as Aagtha knows there are a lot of demons about.

Then sees blob looking demons, Slimes on the edge of the road, one hit can break part of the car.

Agatha turns right to avoid the slam attacks

Ahead are Lizardmen commonly called Saurains by humans, they have armoured backs and tails look like a crocs, have hunting spears for weapons.

Agatha sees them.

One Spits a blob at the car.

As more fog rolls in fast. 

Agatha drove left as she saw harpies in the fog covered air.

Just then coming from the fog, behind some rocks.

Agatha sees it a Golem.

Then it's mouth glows brighter then fires leaser beams.

Agatha drives out in right to avoid the beams.

The Golem roars. 

Just then, a Griffin lands near the car, roaring.

Agatha keeps driving as the Griffin snaps it's beak.

Then a Lamia, a demon that looks half woman half snake leaps out from below the trees.

Agatha keeps driving as fast as she could as the Lamia screams angry gripping it's fists.

Ruby freaks out so too does Brill he did not see this coming he was told it was going to be easy to go in and get Ruby.

But no.

Just then a Catoblepas burst from the fog and snapped its massive jaws.

The car moves out of the way as it drives.

As A carine demon snaps its's jaws, a Garm.

There is so much fog around they see many red eyes.

"Oh no".

Just then a demon looks mix of man and bull charges out, uppercuts it's horns.

Minotaur. 

There. 

Many demons in the fog.

Just then many Ghosts appaer though the fog.

Then a Wight.

It then casts thunderbolts.

A pack of undead come out of the fog.

She keeps driving and then sees somthing in the fog, looking, like the body of a snake and the upper body of a woman and a mass of moving snakes.

Then a green mist snake shape arrow slammed at the car.

Out from the fog is the demon a Medusa towering over the gillmans.

Then its eyes glow then unleashed a reddish beam.

Agatha dodges it then a Sphinx leaps out on the road, half-woman, bird and lion demon left its right paw up castsing.

Agatha drives the car left as its paw slams sending bursts of fire.

The car keeps going.

The two demons, Sphinx and Medusa, turned around and looked with anger.

"Hold on, everyone", Agatha calls soon she be out of these woods.

As the car pass other demons in the fog, from Troll, Ogre, Mintoaur, Lamia sphinx and more.

Then these is one look like a horse, but it's no horse.

Ruby's eyes is on it. 

White in color, with blondish mane and tail, and long horn and bluish hoofs.

A Unicorn and pair of Werewolves.

Just then a blade sweeps near the car.

Ruby sees at the window a head on a hand.

The more of it is seen in the fog looking like a headless knight, with bluish smoke and messy cap.

Dullahan.

Just then she hears a roar and sees a shape in the fog.

Pair of wings, long tail, four legs, many horns.

looks like a Dragon, but it's no Dragon

Then turns it's head.

Red eyes that stand out with black dorts.

Just then, it charges out of the fog.

"Drake!" Ruby screams.

Then it breathes fire right at the car

As the car drives past.

Ruby sees Drake's eye unlike most demons its red eye has a black dot a bit elven-like.

Like the hydra, the Drake's eyes are narrow and red, like it knows who Ruby is.

As Ruby looks at them scared.

The car was out of the woods and heading to the city.

Ruby holds herself in fear as the drake roars and it's voice female like sound.

"GILLMAN!"

Ruby is scared, Agatha looks worried as she drives the car to the tunnel.

Just as the car was gone.

Not far in the fog, but near a billboard that has Gordon on it.

There was somthing else, red hair, red eyes with a black dot, scales.

Then the head moves forward as left hand holds on the billboard.

More demons came out of the fog three Grigori demons look like devils with no wings.

Then five newt like elemental demons, the Salamanders on the road. 

Moving behind them in the fog looked humanoid but bigger then the Cyclopes, armed with a club, messy beard and hair.                

A Giant, the massive humanoid demon walks on the road. 

The red eyes behind the billboard looks away were the car was. 

"Ruby" said a voice then moves away only seen left are scales in the fog. 

Chapter Text

Arthur and Sam are at the workshop and they just got back, Arthur had slain the hydra at Sam's school.

Sam is looking up his phone then.

"Tranquility has turned to terror here in Oceanside as more and more witnesses report having seen the giant kraken"

Arthur listens to this.

Just then a door opens.

It comes, Ruby.

"Hay Tadpole you ok?"

Agatha is not far behind.

"How would I know," Ruby said repiles hurt, then looks down as she walks "no one tells me anything" felt betrayed and shaken.

Agatha trying to think what to say to Ruby then turns to her husband.

"Ruby fall into the ocean and hid at the lighthouse, the very one in ruins, by the dragon", Agatha said as she went past him "We barely escaped the demons, Arthur".

Arthur froze at this.

"Oh no" his hands on his head.

Sam does not know what to say he just sees his dad fight the hydra.

"Good thing you got out of there you would have died" Sam said.

Then Brill comes in.

"Died? Good thing she is no longer there".

As the door shut behind him.

"Oh no," Arthur said.

"Uh, that's our son, Sam" Arthur replies.

"Son" Brill gets excited and grabs Sam "As in, I'm an uncle? Again?".

"I never had an uncle before" Sam said ahppy

"And I never had a Nephew before".

Ruby is trying to keep calm.

"Tell me" as she walks to her dad "Why I just turned correction into a giant Kraken".

As Agatha cheeks outside then shuts the door making sure no one followed them.

Arthur is trying to think "Uh honey?" he looks at his wife.

Agatha starts shutting the blinds, closing the windows so no one can see them, turns the sigh syaing open to close shows a hermit crab open if crab is out, close if the crab is inside it's shell.

"Ruby" Agatha turns around.

Ruby looked hurt.

She sets her daughter down on a stool, herself doing the same across from her.

"You said back at the Dragon damage lighthouse you are a giant Kraken right?" Ruby asked.

"Your mom is the giant Kraken!" Brill said.

Brill finishes for her, blowing a party horn whilst throwing sea-themed confetti.

Ruby glances at him, shifting her gaze back to her mother.

Agatha moves Brill out of the way, Arthur aiding in the action to move him out of the way.

Then turns to Ruby.

"Yes I am one" Agatha replies.

"You see, when you went into the ocean, it triggered… Uh, it released…" Agatha starts".

"What? What?!"Ruby falls off the stool, scrambling backwards to the wall.

"You knew?"

Agatha looks at her sadly.

Ruby glances at her hand, picking up one of the bottles Arthur had made, shows a giant kraken battling a mermaid.

"So what I heard is true, you're a giant kraken, the Siren Slayer, the one that though demons and the very one that slain The Mermaid Queen Nerissa and part of the royals the humans said you are?".

"I'm offended" Brill said slowly as he stood next to his brother-in-law, now in cloths.

Their kind are most of the time naked, but not the gillmans, not while they live in this city.

"It sells" Arthur tells Brill.

Brill comedically toots the horn in Arthur's face offended.

"What else?" Ruby questions her "You told me I never had to worry about demons, yet one appears at my school".

Agatha takes the bottle away from her.

"Look none of us saw it coming" Agatha reasons.

"That hydra is the same one I heard was at the woods and yet shows up at my school" Ruby starts to sound upset "It target me!".

Sam jumps down onto the desk that Ruby is standing next to.

"Target you?" Sam asked

Ruby did not reply to him and talked to her mother.

"The way it looked at me, It knew who I was" Ruby freaks out "That demon went after me!"

"You don't have to worry The hydra was slain" Arthur tries to calm down.

"Slain!"

"You should have seen him when he faced the hydra," Sam said epically.

Ruby felt relieved and then turned back to Agatha.

"So what else is true a kingdom of our kind and my grandma a giant kraken".

"Do I turn giant too?" Sam asked.

"Sorry, son, Only the women in our family and, in rare cases, other women turn giant; male ones are very rare," Arthur tells him.

Sam felt his pride was hurt.

Brill had a question, as he turns to his sister. 

"Why are demons here?" He asked, "I was told this place rarely gets demons".

"We don't know why it's happening" Arthur replies to him "No one knows, It's been happening for days".

"Since Friday?" Sam said to his uncle "an Elf came to my school, I think it was about demons show up".

Ruby hears sounds cheeks her phone there are so many comments coming in about the Hydra and Ruby is a giant Kraken.

"Mom, are there other secrets you hold from me?" Ruby asked

Agatha froze.

"No," Agatha said "It's done now"

Agatha turns away.

"Why?" Ruby wanted to know now, "Is there a reason that you kept me in the dark?, you told me they are lies turns out to be true like my grandma by the way every time I asked you said don't worry and yet I am"

Agatha does not reply.

"Mom please tell me?"

Nothing.

"It's done now, Ruby let's just keep it low and hopefully soon it will be normal".

Ruby then runs upstairs and gets into her room.

As her anger builds up griping her fists.

She screams at the Pouf and then holds herself, about to cry this is a nightmare, first the hydra, then her turning massive, then other demons, she feels betrayed.

She turns and sees a mermaid plushie named Aerwyna on the bed.

Then hears.

"Come on sis" Brill's voice "Well, why can't we just talk about it?".

"Because it doesn't matter. Keep it down, Brill".

Ruby exits her room holding her doll to see what's happening.

At the workshop is Agatha and Brill.

"Sis, if I could find you, then it's only a matter of time before the rest of the ocean can, too".

"I can handle this on my own" Agatha cross her arms.

Ruby bends down keeping the doll close. 

"Just come home and talk to her" Brill trying to reason with her "She wants to help Ruby".

Ruby got closer to listen. 

Agatha scoffs.

"She never just helps, though, does she?" she questions with disguse.

Brill knew she is right but still. 

"At least tell Ruby the whole truth".

"Brill go home," Agatha said.

"But Aggie" Brill said trying to get his sister to let him stay "I just wanted to see the family and you, I miss you, sister; it's been 15 years since you left that night".

"Look, I can't trust you" Agatha snaps "Mom sent you to get Ruby and bring her to her, right?"

"Will true, but if I go back empty-handed, Mom will hit the roof?" Brill said, trying to reason "I would need to crash here for a long time".

He looks and Agatha does not look, please.

"You need to stop now go home and let me take care of my daughter" as she pushes him out and shuts the door.

"Aggie?"

Agatha looks away.

Brill looks like he is about to leave just as Agatha leaves.

"She's still keeping things from me" Ruby said then felt her mom was been mean to her uncle she never knew. 

Brill was walking then.

Door opens.

He stops. 

"Uncle Brill?" Ruby pops her head out.

Brill stops and turns his head.

"Come back" Ruby calls out, moves her right arm like come back.

Brill looked happy.

"I'm coming" then walks back.

Ruby smiles turns around and stops.

Her mother is here and not pleased.

"What are you doing?" Agatha has her hands on her hips.

"Getting Uncle Brill in" Ruby reasons.

"Here I come," Brill said cheerily.

Agatha slams the door at him.

"Ruby he is not meant to be here" Agatha protest hands on her hips.

Ruby opens the door in protest.

"No, he is staying" Ruby said back at her. 

Agatha and Ruby eye each other.

Brill turns his head from side to side and stops in the middle.

"Oh dear" sacred like that is going to be a fight.

Agatha and Ruby stopped and looked away not sure what to say.

Then Ruby shakes her head.

"Let's be reasonable here, " Ruby said "His your brother".

Agatha turns her head to her.

"My uncle".

Ruby then looks at Brill.

"Uncle Brill, who sent you?" Ruby turns to him.

Brill looked like a reck.

"Well," he sees his sister looked not happy "Your Grandma did, she wants me to pick you up and take you to the kingdom".

"My grandmother, as in Queen Emerald!" Ruby said "As in the Kraken kingdom, even know what's not our species name is the name for a demon that looks like an octopus".

"Well it's named because of the Giant Krakens, not the Krakens themselves, as in demons" Agatha said crossing her arms "people mostly humans get that mix up".

This true, krakens are demons, while the name giant kraken are those for their kind who turn giant, at times people mix two up so much. 

"What does she want from me?" Ruby questions.

"Well she wants to make you a warrior" Brill said "Like you Mom".

"Let me ask you, are you still going to do that?" Ruby asked "Even I say no?".

"At first yes but in truth I just want to be with family" Brill looked sad.

Ruby sees somthing "Uncle Brill" She looks at him "You're a nice guy" then hugs him.

Brill froze then got his arms on her.

"I never had a hug in 15 years"

Ruby's eyes widen.

"What?" Ruby asked "I'm sorry"

"For what?"

Ruby, let's go.

"Mom he should stay with us" Ruby said standing up for him.

"But Ruby I'm not sure about this and-"

"What kind of mother does not give her son a hug, especially for 15 years?" Ruby stands with Brill "And he's your brother, I Would have done the same for Sam".

Ruby would do that for her younger brother. 

Agatha looked surprised at this.

Ruby looked with narrow eyes.

Agatha looked away then shook her head.

"Fine, he can stay," Agatha said.

Brill gets inside and runs upstairs crazy.

Ruby looked proud of herself and then walked away happy holding her doll.

Once Ruby was gone.

Agatha goes up there to have a word with her brother.

"Knock knock, who's there," Brill said "It's Uncle Brill".

As he goes to Sam and Arthur.

"Oh don't mind if I do" sees some nice food.

Arthur eyes at him and to his wife like oh no.

Then Brill gets grabbed and pulled back.

To Agatha.

"Brill," she said "First, you be sleeping in the guestroom, if you do anything to do with mom, you are out"

"I plan on not returning to her and besides I'd rather be here".

"Ah hon" Arthur said with fear in his voice "This is not good"

Sam looked worried as he held his phone.

Brill comes to watch.

It shows Ruby's giant form burst from the library, and the kids watch in horror. Then, the hydra looks surprised and angry.

"I'm here with Captain Gordon Lighthouse, Now, Mr Lighthouse, you said the giant Kraken is Ruby" The reporter lady starts "Agatha's daughter".

"Gillman girl yes and I think it's her fault the demons are here like the hydra," He said like a madman.

Gordon grabs the speaker.

"I will prove to all that the demons are evil creatures" He yells "Mermaids, sirens all of them and the giant kraken Ruby!".

Brill screams as Sam drops his phone.

It lands on the food.

"That guy's terrifying" Brill leaned to his brother-in-law "and I live with a warlord".

Arthur looked scared.

"Aggie, he's got her on video, and he's making this to make her look like a monster".

He is worried more of the town will turn against Ruby.

Brill and Sam looked worried too.

Agatha tries to think.

As her phone rings, she looks out and see posts seend to her by her elven allies about demons.

Each shows renders of demons only showing the heads and names.

Agatha's eyes widen as more images keep coming.

"No" 

The boys looks at each other.

"She's got that look" Arthur said worried.

"The one she gets when she's in fear" Brill said worried too.

Outside.

Not far is Chelsea who just arrived and knows Ruby is here and safe. 

Chelsea looks side to side then runs into the fog. 

Ruby sees red hair for a few seconds.

Just then Ruby opens the door then runs into the fog to find who it is.

She stops as the boat-bus passes as she hids.

"Lock your doors!" Gordon said though the speakers " The demons has returned!".

Then Ruby keeps going then at the railing.

Looking around, as the sun is setting. 

"Hello?"  Ruby calls out "Chelsea?"

Was that Chelsea, did the new girl wanted to find me?, Ruby felt guilt, that girl was trying to help me, all I did was left her. 

Unkown to Ruby not far is Chelsea who watching from the shadows who then left not long.

As Gordon on his bus boat leaves at the Ocean. 

Oceanside forest

Not long Chelsea is up north in the wilds, there humans rarely go as there full of dangerous wildlife, but now there are demons about.

Then somthing happens around Chelsea then parts fade away, Chelsea had a spell on, its fading away.

The legs are gone now the real part a tail with fins, the belly is half scale/skin, the chest is bear, breasts, nipples, no clothing or chocker as is all part of the spell to make Chelsea look human.

But Chelsea is not human, but a demon, a Mermaid, a creature of magic. 

Just then a Griffin flies above Chelsea. 

The mermaid is now in area full of demons.

Far back are three Giants near some hills.

A Troll at a cave. 

A pair of Garms near some trees.

Chelsea stands on it's tail, then moves by wrangling, as far back are two Ents, humanoid looking tree demons. 

Are about where there lots of trees.

The mermaid pasting a pack of Goblins.

A few Hobgoblins not far from the Goblins, this species is tall as a man unlike the child size Goblins. 

Non of the demons attack the mermaid as mermaids are one of them and demons don't kill their own.

Chelsea past a Chimera then past a Lamia who is on the left.

Harpies flying above the Mermaid.

Then three stone looking flying demons called Gargoyles.

Chelsea keeops going deeper into the forest.

On a small shadow river full of flowers are Slimes.

As Chelsea pass the slimes.

Other side are Djinns.

For some people it be like going in a dark fairytale story.

Chelsea passing rocks then pass a Golem.

Then pass an Ogre.

On a tree is a demon. 

A Naga similar to a Lamia, but more scales at the humanoid part and have blades.

The Naga is on a tree with it two Imps.

A a pair of Cyclopes near them.

Higher ground is a Sphinx, as harpies fly above, pack of wargs and goblins about.

Chelsea is going pass a running clear river, that has flowers. 

A bask of Asp are around the mermaid, as Chelsea pass them. 

Just then a Manticore leaps out of the shadows then turns right. 

Not far is a is a cave both sides cover in planets and rocks.

Near by is pack of Wargs with them are a few Skeleton demons. 

The mermaid keeps going as small streams of water is running down and though the mosses of the area.

Just then passing the mermaid are mist ball demons called Phantoms. 

Chelsea heads to a cave.

The mermaid arrives then.

Starts to enter.

Chelsea goes in the cave.

Once gone.

Chelsea goes down, passing smmoth stones, moving around and move them as the demon makes it's way down.

Then stops and the ground that goes straight forward. 

"Sweet home" The mermaid said to itself as ahead is light. 

Chapter Text

Mer Lair

The cave is a house cave, it's bigger inside and there is a large pool with a crystal-luminous mist around it, the place is really big.

Smooth stones and lumbs of rocks going up some patches of moss and grass in here.

Many colorful nests are around, all made by demons. 

The Mermaids.

But Mermaids are not the only ones here.

Others too with the Mermaids, part of the Merfolk, a group of demons that has the mermaids and their ilk. 

Most look very similar to each other to the point many can mistake them for mermaids.

Species like.

Siren, Sirena, Mami Wata, Chernava, Merrow, Lara, Ceasg, Nixie, Ningyo, Li Ban, Susuli and Margygr. 

They look so similar to mermaids, but their colours and hairstyles tell them to part.

All but one stands out form them is the Melusine.

Melusines have longer tails that end in two tip with fins, no scales on the tail like a scaleless fish and fins on the hip make them look like they have wings, so much so many people would think of them as Lamia's with wings even know they are not fins nor can they fly.

They live together, spend time together, play together as a Mermaid and Siren with a Srena lay with each other, as a Mami Wata plays with a Chernava.

As on Ceasg lay onto of a rock, below next to it a Merrow laying next to a Mermaid. 

Two Ningyo and a Lara lay next to the pool.

One Mermaid sees Chelsea who enters and stands near the edge.

Standing tall, hair moves like fire.

"The Queen is back" Calls a Sirena as it turns its head to the others its black hair moves.

All see Chelsea and cheer.

Chelsea smiles.

This was way different compared to the school.

"My fellow merfolk" Chelsea then enters the pool to meet up with the others as all around they smile at Chelsea.

All cheer.

"Welcome home Chelsea!" A Mermaid calls out as it stands next to a Mami Wata and a Merrow.

"We love you" A Siren calls out.

"I love you all too" Chelsea indeed does "My kin and ilk".

A Mermaid stands next to the Siren geeking out, and the Siren agrees with said mermaid.

Then gets to the edge of the end of the pool near the crystal, Not far looks like a throne, and the top has the mark of the rift, gets out of the water then lays on the edge.

Chelsea stands with a few merfolk, a Mami Wata, two Mermaids, a Nixie and a Merrow.

Then lays its tail on the ground.

Like Chelsea the merfolk are nude like the other demons, meaning all are bear breasts and nipples.

But they don't care about that as they are demons.

"Welcome home, Queen" The Mami Wata said lying on its side and upper body leaning on some nest bed.

Chelsea looks at the Merrow.

The Nixie was near the pool on the other side of the Mami Wata close to its tail.

"If you want, can you tell us about this giant Kraken you found and we felt the pulse" The Merrow said.

"So did the others" the second Mermaid said lying near to the Merrow.

"Ruby Gillman is a Giant Kraken, and it turns out she's Agatha's daughter".

"What!" All the Merfolk said at once.

"THE SIREN SALYER!" The second Mermaid rants.

"I'm surprised about it too," Chelsea tells the merfolk her group "I think about testing Ruby as she is an outcast and I see there is so much more in her, the humans at that school I see darkness, as many of them told me not to be friends with Ruby"

"Not surprised," the second Mermaid said.

"And the humans care only for your looks my Queen" the first Mermaid said.

"Unlike us," Chelsea said.

Then sees some merfolk painting a mural that has mermaids, but they stand out like Chelsea does, meaning they are not normal mermaids.

"Great mural" Chelsea looks at it.

"Thanks, Chelsea, we had the idea of making this while you were gone" a Melusine said

Chelsea looks at her group.

"Thanks my kin".

"You welcome, Queen", The Mami Wata said.

"So it's true that Giant Kraken is the Siren Slayer's offspring?" A Ningyo comes to them with it's a Sirena.

"Yes" Chelsea replies "I'm happy I got my kin and ilk by my side, while they only care about my looks".

"You are our queen and we love you" A Sirena gets to Chelsea.

"Thanks," Chelsea said to the Sirena and the others as they gets closer to their Queen.

Chelsea turns it's head to the others.

The house cave have many merfolk here all watching their Queen.

"Does she know of her grandmother?" A Merrow asked.

"I don't know" Chelsea replies "There a good chance she heard of her, but not much of Emerald".

"Are you going to tell her about Emerald who she really is?" a Mermaid asked.

"Ruby has to know" a Ceasg asked

"First, I'm going to test Ruby and her will," Chelsea said to all the Mers "Then we will see what happens next".

Chelsea plans to test Ruby then will see, when back at the school when the test starts.

As most of the Mers move to Chelsea. 

Chelsea feels more at home then that High School. 

The Mermaid thinks of Ruby Gillman. 

It was getting dark.

Gillman house

Ruby heads to her room, her boots off.

She was trying to find Chelsea, still upset with her mother, then lays on the bed.

Turns her head and sees her doll then hugs it close as if she see it as a real mermaid like her dreams.

The Next morning.

Alam clock goes on.

Ruby wakes up panic, then relaxes.

"Ok Ruby" as she turns of the clock gets out of bed "you got this".

In seconds she gets her boots on.

Grabs her bag

"You just need to make it to school" grabs headphones from a whale, gets boots on her feet "and have a completely, totally ordinary day".

Turns to look at her doll. 

Cheeks herself. 

"And find Chelsea and aplpoguise" Ruby said to herself "I'm sure I seen her at that fog".

Agatha looks up photos of her and Ruby on her laptop.

One is in the woods, seeing an Alamosaurus in an elven forest and plains, then one is cuddled on a sofa, and one is at an amusement park.

Ruby is wearing colour and wearing her mom's glasses as a joke as Agatha laughs.

"Honey" Arthur's voice.

Agatha looks depressed.

Arthur walks to her with two cups in his hands.

"You've gotta stop beating yourself up" he places the cups down as he looks at his wife.

"I can't believe I did not tell her for 15 years." Agatha blames herself for this, "I mean, what was I thinking?" she asks as she looks at her husband.

"You were thinking about protecting her like you always have" Arthur said "You made the right choice to get away from the Queen".

"And Ruby did not talk to me, I told her" Looks at Arthur "she did not have to worry about a demon showing up and yet one did".

"The Hydra" Arthur when he faced it he felt its burning rage.

"What if She dropped out of school, what if she ran away and-" she froze and turned to Arthur "What if she hates me like I hate my mom!?" she pulled him close.

"Hate is strong of words" he holds her "She'll never run away".

Before Agatha could replay.

Then both see Ruby who was opening the door, she stops then arms dropped like oh great look.

"This does not help my case" Arthur said at once.

"Ruby, hey," she says as she gets off her mate and heads to Ruby. "How are you feeling?" she asks her daughter, hoping this will be all right. "Did you sleep okay?".

Ruby tries to avoid her.

"Everything back to normal?" she tries again, stopping her from leaving, then takes off the glasses to see Ruby's eyes.

"I really gotta go," Ruby said trying to leave.

But Agatha stopped the door from being shut.

"Good okay." she replies trying to get Ruby to talk after what happened and dreading that Ruby will hate her like she hates her mother "Well if you do want to talk, I'll be right here".

Ruby turns her head away.

"I just... I just really want you to know".

No replies as Ruby has her eyes narrowed with anger.

"That you never have to hide things from me".

"Hmm, like you?" Ruby said with a bit of anger.

"What did you say, honey?" she tries to get her to open up.

Ruby turned around to face her mother.

"How do I know you are not hiding more like the demons the fact I turned giant Kraken," Ruby said hurt "Like the fact a demon appeared at my school".

"Look we're not sure why it's happening or why the demons are showing up" Agatha said hoping Ruby would talk to her "I'm sure our elf friends will find out why they are here".

"Bye Mom" Ruby turns to leave "See you after school".

"Love you, Make good choices".

Then it shut, she looked down with sorrow she hoped Ruby would come around and dreads she would hate her.

"I hope," she said with sorrow.

Ruby griping her fists still mad at her tries to calm down and then listens to music as she walks to get her mind off.

In not long Ruby arrives at the high school.

There are the ruins of the once library.

Ruby hides her face as she walks.

The news crew speaking to the librarianam, the police are around the ruins with them are three dwarves looking at the ruins as one has his hand on the broken metal.

"She destroyed the YA Zombie Romance section. The YA Zombie Romance section!" the Librarian said. 

Ruby see a dwarf picks up a book with his right hand, as the rest of his kin go though the ruins of the Library. 

"I can't believe this happened," a Male dwarf said as he looked at the broken metal.

Ruby keeps going and then sees posts, not any posters they are warning posters of demons on the school wall. 

This made Ruby on edge.

The sound of hiss in her head, then the image of the hydra looking at her with rage, it knows who she is.

"It's her" a boy calls out.

This snapped Ruby out of it.

"The sea monster!".

"Get out of our lives!" a girl said.

"I should have stayed home school," a second girl said.

"Go back to the sea!" a boy said.

Ruby trying to get out of there.

"She lured the hydra here!" a third girl said "To get us killed!".

"So she can be the hero by slaying the hydra!" a third boy said "But her dad got to it first".

"What next lure in a Catoblepas? A Medusa? a Chimera?, a Giant? Or better yet a dragon!" the first girl said.

"Freak of the sea!".

"A nock of!" the second boy said.

"Math freak!" the third girl said.

"Go back to the sea," the fourth girl said.

Ruby trying to get away but then.

"There you are," Margot said worriedly "I'm glad you escaped from the hydra".

Connor rushes to her.

"Chelsea told me you escaped alive," Connor said glad she was ok.

"And the hydra was slain by your dad" Trevin said showing his phone a photo of the hydra at Sam's school. 

"Just I glad to got away," Ruby said as she saw people looking at her "I'm sure things be fine now".

"You not going to like this" Margot said "Before you came, they talked about you as the bringing the demons here".

"It's really bad, I'm not making it out," Bliss said.

"Ruby wait".

A voice is Chelsea.

Ruby turns around and see her, as the new girl appaers.

"Are you ok?" Chelsea asked "What happened back there?".

"My mom just wants things to stay the same" Ruby said with anger "She wants me to stay the same, But this time, I'm not turning back".

Chelsea froze of this, it's clear Agatha kept her in the dark, then looks around.

"Don't tell me-".

"Yep, they making it out she lured the demons," Connor told Chelsea "Now reports coming in there lot of demons". 

"New girl," Margot said "Oh boy, you have not seen it"

"It got worse when Gordon Lighthouse made his video after he was on the news," Trevin said "A lot worse"

"What you're joking right? I'm not a demon" Ruby said "or kraken as in a species of demon, I'm just a Cecaelia who happens thanks to mom kept me in the dark that I'm a giant kraken".

"Just look" Margot shows her.

Gordon talking in his video.

"15 years ago a darkness came and now it's happening agian" Gordon snaps. 

Puts the video on.

Gordon on his boat with visitors.

"A lot of you have been asking about my beard regimen" Gordon syaing rubbing his beard.

"Do you see that?" a woman said.

Gordon turns then looks with horror

"Giant Kraken ahoy!" he calls out from his bus boat "The Gillman girl is a giant Kraken just like her mother".

Ruby can only watch in horror.

"Giant Kraken, she did this! Oh, she lured the hydra here!"

Then, changes to Sam's school, the hydra was there hiss roaring then Arthur appears to battle the hydra.

It ends and Gordon speaks.

"The Gillman girl is the reason for demons showing up and lured in the hydra!, thanks to her, more will rise, including dragons!".

"That is a load of rubbish," Chelsea rants. "We all know what is happening in Azeroth and other parts of the realm; it was bound to happen here one way or another! with or without Dragons".

"Could be another alpha as rise?" Bliss said not joking around.

"The Dragon's Dogma still is happening and will keep going from one land to another to, many at once," Chelsea replies.

"Trevin?" Ruby asked, "Did you share it?".

"No," Trevin said, "I think I know who".

"Oh look".

All turned around.

A boy named Kevin with him are others.

"The prom monster," he said with a smirk on his face.

"Why are you doing this?" Ruby asked "Gordon's video".

"I want you out, never come back, you don't belong here," Kevin said maliciously "A monster, real life monster".

"Hey take that back!" Connor snapped.

"You should not be with that monster Connor, a real monster!" he said "You nearly died to the sea and the hydra thanks to her"

"She did not do that!" Margot stands up.

"Chelsea, Queen of the school, stop being with that monster!" he said "Stop defending her like you did when the hydra attacked"

"What?!" Chelsea looked angry.

Kevin looked at Ruby.

"You have no place here, if you wanted to live, go back to the ocean or better yet should been killed by the hydra or better by the flames of a Dragon, no an Alpha! just like the one who attacked Azeroth, years ago".

Ruby looked shocked.

"Not even a mermaid would ever be friends with a monster like you!"

Connor, Margot, bliss and Trevin are shocked by this.

Chelsea looked angry.

Ruby looked hurt but voices and sounds in her head.

Hiss roar of the hydra.

Sounds of demons.

Ruby is in the car as the drake bursts from the fog and breathes fire, its red eye narrowing at her.

"Ruby?" Margot's voice.

Ruby, in a panic, runs for it.

"Giant kraken" Gordon's voice is all around coming from phones of the others as Ruby's fear grows.

Chelsea was about to go after her reaching her right hand but then.

"With the giant kraken on the loss you need a bodyguard"

Chelsea turns around then left. 

Ruby runs into the school.

"Giant Kraken ahoy" Gordon's voice.She runs down the halls as more and more students watch the video

"No running in the halls" a male Staff said. 

Then hides in the girl's bathroom, holds herself into a ball.

But then the sound of a door, her right ear goes up.

She sees white shoes.

Ruby gets up and sees red hair. 

There is Chelsea. 

Meanwhile Chelsea keeps calm, looking a bit-

"Chelsea!" Ruby burst out.

Chelsea turns around. 

"Can I talk to you?" Holding her hands.

Chelsea's eyes are down then up.

"So"

Then, she sits on the sink and crosses her legs.

"What's up?"

"Chelsea about yesterday I'm sorry I left yo-"

Only to be stopped by Chelsea's finger at her lips.

"Apologuises" removes her finger "for what?"

"look I-"

Closes her eyes thinking about yesterday for leaving Chelsea who defended her.

"You have been here one day, and you already fit in", Ruby tells the new girl "I've been here all my life, and I am seen as a freak".

Chelsea's eyes widen.

"I wish I got what you got".

"Oh boo, where is the fun in that?" Chelsea with her hands up "Ruby, I'm not upset with you at all, you'r a giant kraken".

Ruby is taken aback by this.

"Don't listen to those jerks; they know nothing of the Dragon's Dogma" Chelsea said as she got out of the sink "I see in you is a sweet and kind girl, not a monster, the second I saw you".

"But you're crushing it here everyone loves you" Ruby looks away shamely "You really do have anything".

"No, I don't" Chelsea scoffs at this.

This caught Ruby off guard.

"You really think that? The truth is no one sees the real me; they only care about my looks, not what I'm truly am, that all they want me to be" Chelsea looks a bit upset "I met you, and I saw you are not like them, a person that cares about what one truly is".

Ruby looks down sadly she feels bad for saying these words now she knows how Chelsea thinks of it.

"Oh, my cute baby guppy girl" Chelsea holds her face "I was asking if you want me to be your friend?".

"Really?"

Chelsea chuckles then lets go of Ruby "Yes, I heard you love mermaids is that true?" Chelsea asked.

"Yes, I always dreamed of having a mermaid friend" Ruby replies.

"Well, what if your dream came real?" hand to her chest.

"Yes, I am a mermaid" arms up high with a smile and tail fins at the right.

Chelsea's real look standing on it's tail, a real life mermaid.

"I figured I owed you the truth, Sine i kinda, sorta, 100% got credit for your rescue" pionts her finger.

"I can't belive you a-"

"A mermaid" Chelsea cheers "Oh I can't believe we are going to be friend, super sea girl besties" The mermaid smiles.

Ruby notes Chelsea has red eyes and chest no moving means no breathing, no shadow, just like Ruby's kind and elves, and demons.

"I can't believe my dream came true" Ruby geeks out a real life mermaid right here, it was like a dream but it's real.

"I'm glad you like it".

"Like it I love it" she looks then stops "Oh sorry".

"For what?"

"I thought you for a second wear seashell bar? But real mermaids don't wear anything".

Chelsea looks at the chest, the mermaid is nude, breasts are bare with nipples.

Then the mermaid laughs.

"I am the real deal".

Ruby looks at the mermaid's red eyes she knows mermaids are demons.

"I think what you need" has her hand under her chin, as she turns "is to see how" then spines with arms up "great your life could be," then has her hands under the left cheek "You need a super sea girl ditch day".

Ruby looked surprised, she though this was a chance to get to know her mermaid friend and get away from the school.

"Ok," she thought, then smiled perfect she thought "Let's do it".

"Yah" as both smile at each other.

Chelsea gets the rock out then makes the spell to look human.

Now the chest has the top, the shadow is back, and the chest is moving as if Chelsea is breathing to cover the mermaid's cover if she does not breathe it will give way.

Ruby was excited.

Chelsea holds her right hand turns out then kicks the door like a boss.

"Just one month until prom" a male voice.

As the two make their way though many humans with out stopping.

Chelsea lets go then walks out.

Over PA "Just a month until prom, the last evening of joy before entering the drudgery of adulthood or get eaten by beasts"

One teacher looked like really!.

Margot, Bliss and Trevin are outside.

Just then coming out of the door is Chelsea and Ruby.

"Ruby?" Margot said.

Bliss waves her hand.

Trevin looks up.

"Hi guys," Ruby said.

"Are you ok Rubbs?" Trevin asked.

"We were worried," Bliss said in a look of worried.

"Ah guys me and Chelsea are going on ditch day" Ruby tells them as she looks at Chelsea then back to them.

The three are surprised.

"Who's idea was what?" Margot asked.

"Mine," Chelsea said at once, "I thought Ruby and I hang out and to get her away from these jerks".

"That's a good idea" Margot said then looked at Ruby.

"Where's Connor?" Ruby asked.

"He has gone to have word with the jock," Bliss said.

"He looked mad" Trevin replies.

"Mad" Bliss said with a grin on her face.

"Oh ok Can you tell him I be out with Chelsea?".

"Of course, we will keep this between friends", Margot said then looked at Chelsea "Keep her safe new girl" she trusts Chelsea.

Chelsea nods then the two run fast.

As the three watches.

"At least she's not that jerk that betrayed Ruby weeks ago" Margot said in a slow ton.

Chapter Text

As they ran.

Others looked at the two who were leaving.

"Let's go and have fun," Chelsea said holding Ruby's hand.

In not long.

They head to the end of the pier.

The day was sunny.

As they reach the end Ruby stops at her tracks.

"Wait" Ruby froze as they stopped "We going in the sea?".

Ruby though was going to many places of the town like last time.

"Well yes," Chelsea replies.

As sea birds fly off.

A group of Nothosaurus are laying on some rocks.

Ruby was freaking out but then.

Looks at Chelsea and sees a mermaid, standing on its tail up "Ruby?"

"Sorry is just my dream come true," Ruby said geeking.

"Let's go before they see us" Chelsea said.

Both jump. 

They dive into the sea, both jump into the water and Ruby sinks.

In the the dark waters.

Magic in giant form in the kelp

Then starting with the left hand starts to glow and running up her giant body.

Chelsea now it'se real demon self watches and knows what is happening. 

Then Ruby rise out of the kelp spining around then stops, she is glowing bioluminescent.

She backflips amazed by this.

"I'm glowing!"

"Look out you first time and your amzined" Chelsea said "Very beautiful".

"Aww thank you"

"Come Ruby" Chelsea calls sweep her right arm.

Then Ruby follows the mermaid as they swim fast.

Above are boats.

Ruby past though them under.

"Did you see that!" A woman calls out.

They swim though the sea now out of oceanside waters.

There schools of fish.

Ruby gets so excited to see the ocean.

Then Ruby as she looks around just as a pod of spawn whales swim.

Ruby then sees one, she smiles as she swims to the one whale.

"Clarence? Clarence J. Whifferton" Ruby rubs under the whale who is happy to see her " I'm so glad you made it, You look great".

The whale makes sounds happy like saying hello.

Ruby swims around crystal jellyfish, visibly excited about seeing them in person.

Then see somthing she would normally see in books.

The body shape similar to that of varanids, but were more elongated and streamlined for swimming, limbs reduced in length, paddles, tail were broad and it's color dark above and light below, long head with many teeth, when closed covered in lips, its 42 feet long and mass of 15 tons.

"A Mosasaurus hoffmannii!" she geeks out "The biggest of the Mosasurus species!".

As is there are diffrent species with in the genus, this one is the biggest of them all.

Ruby moves her hand to the marine reptile, as it fliks its tongue like its land cousins snakes and monitor lizards, but unlike them, they are warm blooded great sea beasts. 

The marine reptile looks at her calmly, knowing she is not a threat.

This animal is not a movie monster, but an animal, that is amazing as any other.

Ruby rubs its back, the Mosasaurus like it, to her it's like rubing a relax pet lizard, then rubs as it top head with her fingers.

"It's great to meet you" Ruby smiles removing her hand from the animal.

She leaves as the animal swims right heading to the coast.

Like most Mosasauria mostly live near the coast where there is a lot of food. 

Ruby went to Chelsea who is not far.

"Chelsea being in the ocean is more wonderful than anything I could imagine"

"It only gets better from here" Chelsea waves it's right arm like lets go.

The two swim off fast.

Later the giant kraken and mermaid went on.

They arrived to a location deep, where there is no mortal life, only magic races, gods and demons can go though.

The sand is black, many ruined ships and boats, even skeletons of great sea beasts.

There what looks like a otherworldly volcano with currents coming out of it.

"Wow what is that?"

"The well of seas is were the seven seas, currnets come from, we are at the piont no mortal life can go, the end piont".

"Looks cool, I only heard words of it but never seen it" Ruby said looking at the moving currents from the volcano.

"The only lifeforms is magic races like elves and your kind, gods and demons can come here" Chelsea tells Ruby

Chelsea turns around.

"Lets go".

Ruby follows the demon.

The cold area is full of icebergs and snow fields.  

Chelsea jumps out of the water into the air.

"Woo-hoo!"

Then dives down.

Ruby tries herself and jumps out.

"Whoa!"

But fall flat on her face.

They swim through the shadow sea near a forest.

At the edge of the forest is a herd of Dreadnoughtus are feeding on the tree tops. 

Two of them turn their heads and see the giant kraken and mermaid. 

As a basilosaurus cetoides a species of whale swims near the surface.

It turns its head and see the Giant kaken and mermaid.

The two swim fast having fun. 

Ruby swimming fast glowing though caryons.

Chelsea swims near her.

Ruby moves her right arm to the mermaid.

Chelsea goes on it and holds it.

Ruby swims fast through the caverns.

The two looked at each other with smiles on their faces

Ruby swims through the many fish, crystal jellyfish, and ammonites in all shapes and sizes.

Ruby smiling and having so much fun with Chelsea.

Moves her right arm back and then forward.

Chelsea went up at high speed.

Then she jumps out of the water.

Then dives back in.

Just then Ruby jumps out and this time with a smile on her face feeling great.

Then she is back in the water.

For the rest of the day they went to many places and the seven seas. 

They used fast travel thanks to the demon going though rift tears. 

As Chelsea goes thought one then Ruby goes though it.

Later.

"Chelsea being in the ocean is more wonderful than anything I could imagine" Ruby smiles at her besties. 

Then Chelsea swims down into a trench. 

The two super sea girl besties swim fast. 

Ruby spots an ocean current, running her hand through it, causing her bioluminescence inside it to glow brighter

Ruby laughs of joy.

"Wow! That is wild".

But she stops as she hear no reply.

Turns around and see Chelsea stop at it's track. 

Ruby has a look to see that Chelsea is looking at. 

There not far is a dark blue castle, it looked like tenticules and had glowing light blue suction cups.

"Wait is the the-"

"The kraken kingdom" Chelsea said with a bit of anger then clams down "Heard of it, I'm sure you did".

"I only heard words of it and the day I turned Giant Kraken" Ruby said looking at it "I heard of my grandmother and what I could get like she send Brill to get me, but he does not want to go back, what kind of mom does not hug their own kid?".

The mermaid turns it's head to Ruby.

"So you are awere of her?".

"Mom does not really talk of her or bearly at all" Ruby replies then thinks "Maybe I could talk to her-"

Chelsea moves its arms like no.

Then Chelsea gets right in front, making the Giant Kraken stop at her tracks. 

"Don't go there!" Chelsea snaps "Lets go".

Ruby looks at her mermaid friend.

"Is best you don't" Chelsea tells her "We need to go before she sees us".

"Good idea" Ruby said.

Then both leave at once.

Ruby looks back once last time then follows the mermaid. 

A while later.

On the way to Oceanside.

They are in a open area of seabed, full of magic glowing flowers, plants not of nature.

"This day's been amazing" Ruby said in a happy way "Seven seas in seven hours".

Then they lay on the sand, Ruby turns her head to the mermaid "Thank you".

"Your welcome".

Both laugh then look up.

"I still can't belive your mom hide" then has its left hand up "All of this from you".

As Ruby looks up as school of armoured fish, Dunkleosteus swim above them.

"Hiding is Survival" Ruby has her right hand up "that's Gillman motto".

"Mottos" Chelsea turns its head and upper body to Ruby "I got one".

"You do?" Ruby looks at Chelsea suprised.

"Betrayals it what makes me mad the most" Then turns its upper body back "I hate betrayals".

Ruby looks at her demon friend.

"I got betrayed too" Ruby tells of her past "She had red hair, Clarica, i though she was my friend, but one day she betrayed me".

Ruby looks of sorrow.

"We where besties, but she was using me all this time" Ruby did not really recover from this betrayal.

"Did she look like me?".

Ruby froze of this and looks backa t her mermaid friend.

Chelsea turns it's head around looking at Ruby.

"Yes but Chelsea your real unlike Clarica" Ruby said trying to show her mermaid friend the truth.

"Ever since the battle of the trident".

The tail moves.

"I end up leading them".

then Chelsea holds it.

"We could not take it anymore, we felt alone so we left" Chelsea looks down "When we ended up at oceanside drawn by a darkness like the other demons".

"Wait you have a group of mermaids" Ruby rise her head up "your telling me your not alone?!".

Chelsea rises it's head up and looks up.

"It's not just Mermaids or is there more like Sirens, Mami Wata and more!" she geeks.

"Yep I have a group we call ourselves the Mers".

"Cool" Ruby could not belive it.

"I'm glad Ruby" Chelsea smiles at Ruby.

"As in unlike most movies mermaids are selfish or vain to each other, but real nice and loving?!".

"Yes I am lucky to have them" Chelsea said.

"This is great Chelsea".

"Maybe one day you can see them" Chelsea lays down "but if I was not they they would attack you, so when the time is right you can see them".

They looked up lay on the sea bed looking at the surface on the ocean, they can see the sun is setting, as Pteranodon sternbergi fly above.

"I got to get you home" Chelsea said "Soon be dark before your parents get worried" then swims.

Ruby follows her friend, after so long Ruby might finally have the friend she always wanted.

Her wish might come true.

At the same time at the Gillman house.

"Oh, Carol" Agatha replies "I'm aware of the hydra at the school and the library".

"It's completely gone" Carol voices "Thanks to your daughter".

On the news, Arthur watches the tv news.

Agatha felt anger at what she was saying about her daughter.

"It's not her fault she was only trying to hide from the hydra" Agatha reasons "Anyone would do that to live".

The tv shows the number of demons appaering.

Agatha felt dread.

"Agatha, are you still there? What's going on?" Carol's voice.

Agatha tries to remain calm.

"No, it's nothing. Bye" then ended the call, she could not believe this was happening.

Then a knock on the door.

Arthur heads to the door, then opens to his surprise and the rest is Gordon not far from his boat.

"Gillmans," he said rudely "I saw you girl turn giant Kraken and destroy the library".

"It was not her fault she was trying to hide from the hydra" Arthur defends his daughter.

"What do you want?!" Agatha asked.

"Oh, you know" He moves closer "You Gillmans, think you can have a fresh start by coming here".

"Gordon, now leave!" Then, he slams the door on Gordon his once best friend.

This made Gordon really mad.

"You think you can hide from the mermaids!, Dragons!, Demons!, Gillmans!" Gordon rants "You can't hide for long! and thanks to your daughter!".

Then storms off.

Ruby and Chelsea appaer near the beach as a Acrocanthosaurus is walking on the beach not far from town heading to the woods to find a place to rest.

Ruby and Chelsea got back to the Pier they looked around to see if anyone has seen them.

Next the two sat on a cheir, they can see the sea and the land, as on the plains a group of Stegosaurus are moving about.

As two Diplodocus are near the trees and a few Oxens with them.

Ruby loved Oceanside as it is full of life and never gets old seening animals being animals not movie monsters.

"Your parents would wonder where you are" Chelsea said "And worried sences my fellow demons are about".

They at the start of the peir leads into the town, not far is Ruby's home.

"Take care Ruby" Chelsea starts to leave waving at Ruby and Ruby waves back.

Then Chelsea jumps into the water then was gone.

Ruby felt today was amazing day, this was like a, dream she has and playing with her doll, but this is real, Chelsea is real, a real Mermaid, no fairytale.

As far back a Kentrosaurus is feeding on plants. 

Ruby then heads home.

Going though a trading area, this is one of the only places she feels at home.

Trade District 

Where mostly other races are know to be then the rest of the city.

A Dark elf, similar to their ilk the elves, they are diffrent species but in the same family, this one gets out some elvish gems look like is from underground.

Two dwarves have iron items.

An Orc has some axes in grey and red, behind him is a flag in red and black, the flag of the Horde from Azeroth.

Three Huldufólk have many grey dresss in shades on display.

A hobbit has pips out as he shows on to a human who is looking to buy.

Three Kaldorei commonly called night elves have items and things related to nature from their homeland.

Ruby smiles she wonder what is like in the Kaldorei lands, she only heard tales of the forest of Ashenvale and the world tree. 

A male Draenei show off books.

Two humans from far away land look like sea town folks show off their fish meat to sell.

A Nightborne mage has pieces of Night related and dusk lily, she talking to an elf and an Orc.

Another Nightborne is selling wine, a type of wine not found in Oceanside, she hands on over to a human who pays for it.

Ruby stops and sees an elf speaking with mermaid fan and her parents in tadding, she gives mermaid fan a mermaid blanket as she speaks to the girls' parents.

She walks pass a Light elf and a Dark elf who are talking while holding each other's hands.

Ruby has been coming here many times and her family comes here a lot, sometimes to get surpplies, meet other races and mostly the family enjoys coming here, she wonder if Brill has been here yet, giving Sam comes here a lot he would bring their uncle here.

She turns around and looks back as Three Zandalari move some boxes that has their crest on them.

It soon get dark in a few hours. 

Ruby enters the house.

"I'm home".

All looked at her.

"Ruby" Agatha gets up "Your home and your gone longer" chuckles nervely "School was over seven hours ago and was over sooner because of fear of demons like the hydra would happen agian".

Ruby was about to have dinner, but.

"Ruby where have you been?" Agatha asked.

"I was with Chelsea, we were spenidng time togather" Ruby replies.

Agatha smiles somthing from Ruby's cloths, it the only part would smile.

"Its that salt on your cloths?".

"I..Uuuhhh-".

"Did you go into the Ocean?".

"Yes" Ruby replies "I did, I need to get away from the mean kids at school making out I'm the reason the demons are here".

"While you where gone Gordon can here in front of the house, my friends Doug and Jaince came over this morning, they where worried about demons after seening the hydra and they had a run in with a Cockatrice" Agatha was told of this "Luckly the elves were about and slain the rooster/lion demon, now they are worried for themselves and their upcoming baby, I told them we are friends and I will try to find a way though this rising".

Ruby though of somthing.

She thinks of her Grandma maybe she can help?

"Maybe we can asked Grandma for help?".

"Can we not talk about this?".

"Why can't we just talk about it?" Ruby asked.

"Because it doesn't matter" Agatha turns back to Ruby.

"That hydra knew I was a Giant Kraken", Ruby said "If it knows, then it's only a matter of time before the rest of the demons know too, or they already know like that Drake, the demons that attacked us when getting away from the lighthouse".

"I can handle this" Agatha has her arms crossed "and so can the Vanguard deal with them".

"Let's just go to the kingdom and talk to her" Ruby tries to reason "She might help us".

"She never just helps," Agatha said back "We are not going, Your life is on land now Ruby" then walks away.

Ruby can tell so she went upstairs instead, goes in her room looking up her laptop.

Looking up news, then her eyes wilden there so many vidoes and photos.

All of the same thing demons, all In Oceanside.

"Lindwurm" Ruby said.

Next is pair of Succubus in a ruined house, near a broken TV.  

Ruby's core felt cold in her core.

Next was pair of Ghouls at a yard. 

Next Oozes in a Carnyon.

As she looks the next shows many Hellhounds in a field.

Ruby felt cold, this rising is getting worst, her mind thought of the Hydra what if it happens again.

As a Image of a Demon that is White in the dark.

Maybe asking her Grandmother about her Giant Kraken side could help and find the answers her mother does not tell her.

In not long. 

Ruby is in the sea heading to the kraken kingdom, as a Giant kraken glowing in the dark waters. 

Not far is Gordon who sees this then smiles. 

Ruby swims fast as she sees far back are flying demon. 

A flock of Strix, half bird half man demons, who see the Giant kraken in the sea, the glow in the water. 

Ruby swims fast, though the sea then arrives at currents.

Then past a Giant shark, Megalodon.

Rubs it's back the keeps going into darker waters.

At the same time Agatha is speaking with the Boys, at the tadding area.

"I need you all to keep an eye on Gordon" Agatha tells them "His up to somthing, I'm taking no chances".

As they pass two Nightborne and a Drow who are talking.

"That would be a good idea as so far he is been trying to make Ruby look bad" Arthur said.

Brill snaps out as he was looking at some cone dog, he turns to his sister.

"Ok" Brill said nervously "So we are going to look for this madman and stop him?" he asked.

He looks at the cone dog, Sam buys one for his uncle.

"Somthing like that yes" Agatha said "I'm going to talk with our friends of this demon rising".

Agatha turns to leave, she's worried the demons what ever angers them will lead any of them to attack.

The boys looks at each other.

"She wants us to look out for Gordon" Arthur said.

"Somthing she wants us to do" Brill replies then looks around the Tadding away "The kraken kingdom does not have anything like this?".

"Really?" Sam asked.

Arthur knows it's true.

"Yes son, your grandmother is agianst anyone that is not our kind"

"Yep" Brill said "She does not like humans, elves, dwarves, anyone really".

"Good thing we don't live there" Sam agrees.

"Me too son" Arthur replies as he watches other races doing their thing many are from far away lands like Azeroth and more.

As a male and female Zandalari sell some dinosaur toys to some kids.

Kraken Kingdom

Ruby swims to the front of the kingdom's door, then changes to light purple then opens, She enters then arrives to an open full that is massive.

Golden mark of giant Kraken warriors, all look the same.

"Wow,".

Then a group of Cecaelias swim around her.

"It's her" a male said.

"She has returned" a female said.

All look happy to see her.

"Welcome" many said at onces.

Ruby stops.

"That means-" Ruby begin to say.

"A Queen!" a loud voice she looked up and saw "Warrior Queen".

Then out from above giant kraken bigger then Ruby in size.

Swims down from above and stops infront of Ruby.

"Ultimate Lordess, Ruler of the Seven Seas" She now closer to Ruby "et cetera, et cetera, give me a hug" She hugs Ruby tight now really tight, holds Ruby up and spins her around "After 15 years, you're finally back" then let's go.

"Are you my grandmother?" Ruby asked to make sure this is her grandmother or another giant kraken.

"Oh please call me Grandmamah" she moves up bellowing "Also know as Queen Emerald I do have many names, but Emerald is my main name".

Ruby is still suprised of this.

"You seem surprised by the level of general majesty and royal splendour," Emerald said.

"I definitely wasn't expecting this, i knew you where Queen but not the look of this place" Ruby replies.

"Your mother never told you?" Emerald's hands are up "of your kingdom?".

"Well I heard but was not sure as it's one of those things mom keeps in the dark".

"Keeps in the Dark!" Emerald gets mad then "AGATHA!" she roars.

Ruby moves back.

The kingdom starts glowing then.

A massive blast goes though the kingdom all the way out.

Then Emerlad was calm.

"I knew she would after she left me".

Emerald turns.

"Oh don't worry i good" Emerald said "I been going to therpery for some time, like away rage".

"Ah, cookies. Help yourself, Ruby" She has them closer to her granddaughter "I made them myself".

Ruby grabs one and then starts eating "Mmm. They're really... They're really good. A little mushy" As she eats three more they are so good.

"I made some of them myself" Emerald said then they swam.

They arrive to a nest, and its massive with any young members of the species.

All are playing togather.

"Kids I present to your Agatha's daughter Ruby".

"Hello" a Cecaelia kid calls out.

"Happy to see you all" Ruby said.

Emerald has her right hand on Ruby's shoulder.

"They are giant krakens too yet to reach the moment for one of them will be like you"

"Nice" Ruby said.

"Come it is time".

As they swim

"Tell me everything. Was it horrible living among those humans?" Emerald asked "I heard of the hydra attack".

"I have a couple of friends" Ruby replies "I asked a boy to prom, but, you know, it... it did not go great thanks to the Hydra".

"Well, deary, you can put all that behind you" Emerald said with pride "You're made for bigger things. Come with me".

She leads Ruby to a huge throne room, where others of their kind, other Cecaelia swim around, all are 

"I see her" a male calls out "It's Ruby".

"Whoa. It's Ruby" a girl calls out.

"It's her" a female calls out.

"Look, it's the princess" a male Cecaelia calls out

"Is this actually her?" a second female calls out.

Then one boy gave Ruby some sea flowers.

"Aww thank you," Ruby said taking them in her right hand.

Ruby could not believe it, she saw her own kind.

"Hi Ruby" a girl said, ruby smiles she never seen so many others of her kind.

"Fellow Cecaelias and Giant Krakens," the queen said with pride "Here at last 15 years my granddaughter, the daughter of the Siren Slayer has finally returned".

Moves left.

"Home to be my successor".

Pionts her weapon where Ruby is.

Ruby froze as she was on the throne what?

"Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait" Ruby panics "I'm gonna be a, a what now?".

Emerald gets her on the throne and purs a crown on her head.

"Wait what are you doing?" Ruby protest "Me!".

"You are ready, like I was when I was your age, I beame Queen" Gets her left hand on Ruby "Got somthing to say to your people?, Address the crowd".

Ruby froze oh no.

"I think" Ruby trying to come up with somthing "I can't i just can't right now!", then tries to leave.

All went silent, no even claps.

They knew at once, Ruby feels about this as she tries to move.

Emerald is annoyed by this.

"Are you ok?" the giant kraken kid asked.

Ruby looks at her grandmother.

"Teenagers" Emerald is really annoyed.

Oceanside pier 

Arthur, Brill and Sam are heading to Gordon's boat to stop him.

"Look who it is mine once my best friend" Gordon calls from his boat just 35 feet from the dock.

"Gordon, we know what are you going to do" Arthur snaps "And where did you get those harpoons from?".

"You should not use them you're just lure in demons and anger them!" Brill calls out, "You will end up slaying Ruby!"

"You're going to get my sis killed!" Sam yells.

"Well you should not live here, so leave Oceanside or die to the demons" Gordon calls out.

They run to stop him.

He gets out a harpoon and fires at them.

Stops them in their tracks.

"Oh no", Arthur looks at the red mist forms of tentacles unleashed "Brine" by the brine weapon, the brine itself.

Sam looked scared, thinking a demon would appaer, hopeful not another hydra.

Then Connor runs into he has heard all of it.

"Mr Gillman!" Connor calls out as it runs then stops right near Arthur. 

"Connor" Arthur said, "He is going to try and kill Ruby by luring in demons with the brine!".

"Oh no" Connor panics.

As the brine fade away. 

"To the boat" Arthur calls as he and they run to one.

Mororboat that had the dragon logo it was from the Vanguard, which meant Arthur could use it as he had the right to use Vanguard boats and other things.

The four got in the boat.

Then Arthur drives the boat out, but somthing jumped out of nowhere, then slams into the water near the boat.

Arthur stops the boat at once. 

All looked over the front. 

Then see red hair and teal scales and fins.

All froze when they see red eyes.

It turns it head and looks at them.

Demon? All four though at once. 

The demon look like a nude teenage girl with a tail. 

Brill looked about to panic.

"A mermaid" Arthur said he had not seen one in person for a long time.

He looked at his weapon a Greatsword, then looks back at the mermaid.

This was real, all this time. 

"Don't kill me, mermaid demon!" Brill freaks out covering his head with his arms in panic. 

Sam was about to throw a dodgeball but stops at his tracks, this was a demon, so the ball would just go though it like air. 

The demon gets its hand down then limps up to stand up. 

Connor looked closer.

Red hair.

"Chelsea?" Connor said "Is that you?".

Part of him hopes it is, giving how nice Chelsea is to his long time crush and friend Ruby. 

"Little mister skater boy" the demon said.

The voice is the same, it has to be Chelsea.

"Wait?" Arthur said looking at Connor then back to the demon "Are you-".

"Yes, I am Chelsea" The mermaid replies moves a bit closer. 

"Have you seen Ruby?" Connor asked. 

"No I though she is enither with you or the Gillmans" Chelsea said.

"She's in the Ocean" Brill said "and Gordon is after her". 

"Pull yourselves together" Chelsea snaps "And what do you mean his after Ruby?" the demon jumps back in surpirse.

"To the Kraken kingdom after Aggie refused to give her answers" Arthur said. 

Chelsea had a feeling Ruby would do this while listen what the boys have to say.

"Gordon is going to try and kill my sister with the brine to lure in demons to kill her," Sam tells the mermaid in panic.

The Boys still felt all but Connor on edge that a demon is on the boat.

"I felt the brine, Ruby is my friend!" Chelsea yells at them.

All looked relieved.

"Thank you new girl," Connor said he had a feeling after seening it's Chelsea.

"Let's go" Arthur said as he starts the boat engrains. 

As the boys get back in their sits, getting ready. 

"Are you coming" Arthur turns looks at the mermaid "with us?".

The boys looks at the mermaid a real life mermaid, a real one.

Chelsea then jumped of a boat then dives into the water, the mermaid is gone.

The boys were not sure what the demon meant.

"We are coming Ruby" Connor said.

As Arthur drives the boat at full speed.

At the kraken kingdom.

Ruby still on edge as she is not liking what is happing.

As they try to place a crown on her, she moves out of the way and looks at her Grandmother.

"Uh, Grandma…" Ruby tries to speak.

"Grandma'mah'" Emerald said as she signed a paper "It goes up on the second 'mah.'".

"Oh, sorry. Um, Grandmamah" Ruby said "Um, you have the wrong person." she moved closer shyly "I'm just Ruby Gillman, a normal teenager."

"According to who?" Emerald sounds insulted.

"Well me," Ruby said nervously she wondered if she made the right choice to come here.

Emerald turns around and looks at Ruby.

"The women in our family have been gifted the mighty power " place her hand on Ruby's shoulder "to turn into Giant Kraken" Emerlad turns to look at her "You are only one of three giant krakens left of our family Ruby".

She turns to go.

Ruby knew at once herself, her mom and grandma the only ones of the family left, in the realms and the seven seas of this part of the realms.

Above Emerald is a tunnel.

"We must protect the ocean and its creatures".

She goes up.

Ruby goes up with her.

"But many monsters have coveted our position and have tried to seize the throne for themselves".

Going though the reddish mist, as if going to hell.

Hall of monsters

Then they arrive the room full statues with bigger ones above the rest, they all looked out of nightmares, with reddish mist covering most of the room moving about, giving it a hellish feel.

"Brag alert, they never succeeded"

Emerald turns her head to Ruby.

Then pionts to each one, the top big ones.

"The Leviathan"

"Umibozu"

"Iku Turso"

"Capricorn"

It was the tip of the iceberg as the chamber is massive, with so many stautes, as Ruby sees more from Devil whale to a eight headed serpent and tail serpent demon, Yamata no Orochi.

Ruby looks right and see many smaller statues, most covered in red mist, can only see afew of them.

Then looks more right and saw some statues looked different from the normal ones and looked even more creepy.

There is a messed-up Chimera.

"These variants" Ruby looks at them, all have their red eyes glowing.

"Those most like me called them Gores they are more monstrous".

Ruby looks at the statues look like from a nightmare, looks at a chimera but the lion is black and dark colors, goat whiteish, moving fur, and a messed up snake, the creaute looks horribly mutated.

"More aggressive" 

Emerlad pionts at the staute. 

"Gorechimera"

On the other side of the mist there is a shape, this one got Ruby on edge and looks familar. 

"The most power-hungry and dangerous of them all".

"The Mermaid?".

"Yes!", dramatically.

The mist moves back and shows it.

Ruby looked confused.

"But thats not what a mermaid looks like?".

Emerald frowns.

"Of course they do" looked annoyed.

Then they swim up.

"Mermaids are selfish, vain narcissists with mediocre hair"

Ruby felt hurt about it as she looks at it then goes with her.

"And their queen, Nerissa, the worst of them all" she said as they swim up the tunnel it's darker " She wanted to control the ocean and force its creatures to serve her and her alone".

A dark room with a massive mermaid looking statue.

"They are unlike the rest of the demons"

There is a lot of red mist coveing more mean many stautes are hiden in mist.

Ruby looks around and see to her horror.

Stautes of others, while the rest is covered in mist.

"They are the reason your mother left," she said with anger "Pathetic!, Parasites!, teenagers! Waste! Freaks!".

Ruby looks at the statues and all the others all around the room.

"But"

Her eyes look at them and she can tell right away.

"Thats not what they look like".

"Oh this agian" Emerald look at Ruby oh come on "that is what the mermaids look like".

Ruby sees statues of all merfolk know in the realms, are here too, but she notcied that somthing was off, they looked more monsterous than they are, they looked not like the real ones.

"Why are the merfolk here and why do they look like that".

"They are our enemies, they looked like that".

"That's not what they look like not even close" Ruby points out "People love merfolk including me".

"People are stupid, and you're naive," Emerald said rudely.

"Ha, I'm not naive, people are not stupid, and merfolk are nothing like it" Ruby stands up "I have a mermaid friend".

The Queen froze.

"You're friends with a mermaid! are you serious?" Emerald gets closer to her "You should have killed it like I did at your age" moves back then looks at a mermaid statue "I killed it where is was, that act made me a hero of the kingdom" turns to face Ruby.

"I like her, she's my best friend, I know mermaids are demons, what you're saying about merfolk is wrong".

"All mermaids are the same, every single one of them, ice mermaids, Lightning mermaids, Holy mermaids, Dark mermaids, spell-casting mermaids, Armoured Mermaids, Elemental mermaids, black mermaids, More fish looking mermaids, all of them monsters!" Emerald rants looking angry at the stautes.

Ruby sees the statutes, and all are every species of merfolk but most are covered in mist.

"They are not all mermaids" Ruby snaps "they are different species from each other" looks at each one "You are making out all are mermaids, sure sure most humans would mistaken them for mermaids, but not me or you".

Ruby looks at a few like Siren, Merrow, Mami wata and others in the roun d cycle one, they looked nothing like the real ones shape, teeth they don't have, shape teeth and eyes that don't even match a real ones.

Runy turns to her grandmother. 

"There are Sirens, Merrows, Mami Watas, Zititrons, Ningyo" Ruby said as she pionts each one.

"Undines, Kairai, Nixies, Melusines, Sednas the ice ones, Sirena, Selk-"

Emerald looks mad. 

"Shut up" Emerald snaps right at her face. 

Ruby stops in her tracks and turns around. 

"You would defened those pathic looking teenagers!". 

Emerald looks away, griping her fists.

"Your mother never told you about the war right?", turns her head side.

"No, I did hear about it from elves and rumours" Ruby sees somthing in the smoke.

Ruby then sees one statue to her shock it looks very familar but bits where off. 

"That is Nerissa"  Emerald said. 

Ruby froze looks very similar to her friend. 

"Power hungry" 

Then sees a glowing weapon. 

"Their queen found an ancient weapon" she pionts.

The red mist moves back and shows Nerissa coming for a weapon. 

"The Trident of Oceanus"

Then shows the Trident in red and black.

"A power weapon said to be from an Alpha long ago, it that her power was without compare".

Ruby looks as smoke moves sees Nerissa but now diffrent and was breathing fire. 

"We formed the front lines against her" 

"And for that".

"We paid a terrible price"

Looks away.

Ruby could not belive this.

"Frankly..I was Lucky, I survived.." Emerald turns away. 

Ruby in shock rubs her other arm. 

"Worst, Nerissa empowered the others of this dragon power". 

Ruby looked of horror sees Nerissa and empowered merfolk behind the Mermaid Queen. 

"We would have been kelp toast if it wasn't for" Emerald turns around to Ruby "Your mother".

Ruby sees somthing as the smoke move back slowly, pink color and purple. 

"My Mom".

"She was our greatest Warrior" Emerald said 

"I mean, of course she was. I taught her everything I know".

"She engaged in a great battle with the tyrant mermaid, saving us from been killed".

"Siren Slayer" Emerald said with pride "my pet name for her".

"Siren Slayer" Ruby said slowly. 

Ruby knew of that name, everyone did, her kind, humans, elves, orcs, dwarves and others, not only Oceanside or the seven seas, both other realms too even Azeroth heard of that. 

"She slain more of them like no one else" 

"We could not see the battle, but she seized the Trident"

Emerald smiles of it.

" I called it her "queen-making moment." It was glorious"

"Nerissa slain in disgrace".

"We had the chance to crush the mermaids forever".

Ruby look of horror, her mom looks like a cold killer, this had to be a lie. 

Nerissa fades away in green smoke. 

"It's was in our hands".

"But then the unfathomable"

A rift portal, somthing was coming out. 

"That cursed Dragon came back, it appaers it's won the fight between the Dragon and the Slayer who failed to kill it".

Ruby sees the Alpha from 15 years ago, the very one that ruined the lighthouse, but why is there no color on it?

"That beast took all the mermaids with it, not before it took half of my new army like it was nothing".

Ruby turns and see something. 

"Your mother hide the Trident" Emerald grips her fists "I've had my scouts searching for it for years, no one as ever found the Trident".

"Left the kingdom, left her kind, took you away".

"And I never saw you again" in a low ton.

Ruby looks and see a green buddle in one arm. 

"Until now," Ruby said in a low tone.

"She lost the will, she left her family, all to paly HUMAN!!" Emerald's voice rising "she was meant to rule-we could ahve rid the pathetic teenagers but no she had to listen to elves instead of of her own MOTHER!!"

She fires lasers from her eyes.

"Whoa. You have laser eyes?".

"Well, it's electrically charged bioluminescence magic" Emerald said. 

As Ruby turns around.

"But, yeah, they do pack a wallop" she turns around "You have the powers, too, you know"

She turns to Ruby.

"See they are monsters and nothing more".

"No, you made a lot up, Merfolk are not evil, they are just themselves and misunderstood like the rest of the demons if Nerissa was evil like it was a movie, Nerissa must have done it to protect them from you, as for dragons I'm sure Nerissa would side with them as all demons do out of their free will, The Dragon's Dogma is not of good or evil, you started the war, you're the reason my mom left and not want me into the ocean, she said there worst monsters then demons".

"Worst monsters?!" Emerlad is like what?!.

"Bad enough I been called the prom monster".

"You're special, Ruby" Emerald said " You feel it in the core of your being" grips her fist then moves her finger to the side of Ruby's face "Let me teach you".

"Look" she shakes her head "The last thing i want is to be-".

"A Giant Kraken?, your not a human, nor elf, your a Giant Kraken, Once you know what you're capable of, you'll want to be the next kraken queen" Emerald tries " It's your birthright" she sees it's not working "And fight as you might, fight as you will, you can never outswim your destiny".

Ruby does not want this.

"Look Grandmamah, I like math, Chelsea... and Connor" Ruby reasons as her left hand on her left arm "You know.... teen stuff".

"That mermaid will betray you!" Emerald questions "I sure you got betrayed before".

Then moves closer.

"That is what they do" Emerald said in a low ton "you do not want to go though that again do you?" with one brow up.

"She's my best friend and Chelsea will never betray me" Ruby pionts out "I'm sorry" looks away right hand hold her left arm "but it's no", she had to give her answer.

There was silents then a warm voice.

"Very well" The Queen smiles "I loved spending this time with you Ruby".

"I see" Ruby said slowly with guilt "I got go now".

"Until we meet agian" Emerald replies in a warm voice.

Ruby swims down.

While Emerald watches.

A warrior comes up.

"Wait your just letting her go?" he asked. 

Emerald turns away. 

"She'll be back a Giant Kraken always answers the calls".

"That's what you said about Agatha" he replies. 

Emerald stops looks at the stautes.

"The demons will drive her back to me, or the mermaid will" Emerald said as she leaves. 

The door opens as Ruby goes though then closes.

Ruby swims fast.

Looks back for a bit then leaves as fast as she can, not looking back.

Thought the canyons, then going up.

In a shot time arrives to where pod of whales are swiming. 

Place her hand on one.

"Bye Clarence" Ruby said.

The whale calls saying in whale good bye.

Ruby swims off, as she pass many sea life.

Heading back to Oceanside, she regrets going then and feels bad she wish did not say about her mermaid friend, her grandmother knows, she knows Ruby is friends with a mermaid.  

"Oh Chelsea" Ruby said in a low voice "My bestie, Why did I not listen to you?, why did I not listen?".

As she swims sadly, regretting ever going there. 

Chapter Text

At the same time

Arthur, Bill, Sam and Connor on their motorboat.

It's dark out here they are east of the kelp forest near leads to the open seas, there is not as much kelp here.

There is Gordon's boat not moving.

They see a glow in the water.

Ruby was getting closer to the edge of the kelp forest but then a blast appaers.

Above Gordon yelles.

"Giant Kraken!" He waste no time in getting the harpoon ready the half covered in red mist, it's the brine weapon.

Ruby panics seening the red/pink mist.

She knows what it means.

"Gordon!" Arthur yells as he is near.

Gordon turns around.

"I've been doing this me entire life and coast me dearly" Gordon rants " if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have bought the boat, and without the boat, I wouldn't have mortgaged my house, and if I didn't mortgage my house, Tammy wouldn't have left me!".

Just then two merfolk appaer on the edges of the boat, but they where big, bigger then a mermaid, and unlike most they more stand out.

A Scylla.

and

A Charybdis.

Both stand 13 feet tall and with their taills longer about 33 feet long dwarfing a mermaid in size, nearly as tall as a Cyclops.

Both roar with rage.

Just then a third merfolk this one has no scales but fur like a seal.

A Selkie lands on the boat and then roars.

The boys looked shock of horror.

Then another merfolk a Sedna.

"One day" Gordon calls out.

The sedna roars with rage.

"I will have a little mermaid of every species dead".

Then the Sedna leaps, then slams down send wave of ice.

"I done this just for you Gillmans, have some ice!" Gordon yells "to bring you all down!".

The Sedna's right hand glows then throws a ball of ice at the Gillmans.

"Watch out!!" Arthur said as the iceball hits the boat.

Arthur grabs his blade ready to fight if he must. 

Brill jumps off to stop Gordon.

Gordon drives the boat to look for Ruby.

He then loads a brine harpoon into a cannon

"Fly. Fly, me beauties" he laughs as he fires.

The harpon is near Ruby then blows up.

"Let's get a closer look at ya" Gordon yells.

Arthur grabs his blade covered in lightning to protect his son and Connor.

"He is trying to lure in demons!" Connor said, "To kill Ruby" he saw the demons looking mad.

Brill gets on the boat.

"Brill's here," he said.

Before he could do anything he see the Scylla and Charybdis looking at him both out side him.

Both are angry.

"Hi lady demons," Brill said nervously.

As both grow bearing their teeth.

Not far Ruby panics "Laser eyes, go!" trying to active it " Laser eyes, go! Laser eyes?" as panic gets worst as if death is coming for her in form of mad demons.

He fires another harpoon goes into the water.

Suddenly caught by a hand then turns it to dust and the brine blow up.

On the boat Gordon gets excited.

"Bit of a spicy tuna, aren't ya?"

Ruby sees green smoke then fades relives who, red moving hair like fire and tail with fins.

"Chelsea?" Ruby asked surpirsed.

"Hi" Chelsea said.

Then to Ruby's shock she sees others in the dark and the kelp, mermaids.

Not just them others too.

With them are Sirens, Sirenas, Merrows, Nixies, Ningyos, Melsuines, Mami Watas, Ceasgs, Chernavas, Laras, Li Bans, Sussulus, Margygrs.

All appaer from the dark waters and the kelp around them. 

"I did say I have a group and here they are".

Gordon sees this too and the Gillmans looked shocked.

"Is that redhead!" he yells he thinks they are going to attack Ruby.

The other four merfolk notes this, stop their attack and calm down a bit.

Chelsea was looking up then back to Ruby.

"Meet the Mers Ruby" Chelsea said "Now I show you".

Chelsea goes up and then slams the boat knocking Gordon off his feet.

Brill jumps of and gets out of there.

The Gillmans moves out of the way.

The four merfolk wanted to kill Gordon and attack the Gillmans by Chelsea got in the way.

"My ilk come with us," Chelsea calls out. 

The four went with Chelsea.

Jump of the boat then go in the sea.

Chelsea then roars loud as green smoke rise from the mermaid.

Then all the Mers attack his boat with the Scylla, Charybdis, Senda and Selkie.

The Senda casts ice spells from ice spikes to an ice cloud.

As the others attack with their fists, tails and powers.

The Merrows cast spells from dark clouds to holy bolts, breaking the boat as the Gillmans and Connor get out of the way as a Sirena, a Siren, a Mami wata and a Chernava slam on the boat with their tails.

They drive the boat and got out of the Mers wrath. 

Brill freaks out.

"Good thing we are out of the way" he said.

"I did not see this coming" Sam said.

"Sam stay close to me, any of them could attack" Arthur said.

He knows while they are here thanks to Chelsea, that does not mean they would attack anyone else. 

Connor looks down and sees two Mermaids and a Siren under them, swiming fast. 

Then a Mami Wata and a Merrow right after them. 

Gordon grabs a bomb.

"Time for the Gordon special" Gordon determined " Surprise. It's a bomb!" then throws it.

But the bomb does nothing to them, as no mortal can kill a demon.

Chelsea raors calling the Mers back.

"You should get going or like die" Chelsea said then pionts her finger "You call".

Ruby thinks before making a decision then swims fast.

Chelsea swims up fast.

Gordon looking down then the boat breaks sends him flying in the air then crashing in the ruins of his boat, broken wood and metal.

Gordon climbs on the ruins and sees the glow vanish and no sigh of red hair, he looks right and see the gillmans are gone, and no sigh of the demons they are gone like they where never here.

He screams then slams his fist down on a plank of wood.

"Just great" he said to himself, cross his arms.

At the kelp forest, Chelsea leads the Mers with Ruby behind the Mermaid, going though the forest.

The Gillmans and Connor make their way not far above as fast as they can.

Arthur has his eyes open for demons he knows their wrath will be upon them soon, is best to get out of here.

Done below the Mers swim fast.

Ruby turns her head as they swim.

"Ok I still can't believe you have a-"

"We ten with fins" Pionts at it's onw fins then swims left "fish come true" then spins forward "the Mers," Chelsea geeks hands under it's chin then turns it's upper body said while still swiming. Oh You belive one mermaid of your dream came true now theses a lot fo us, my super sea girl bestie" as they swim.

Ruby sees them all looking at her as they swim.

"Don't worry they will not attack".

"Chelsea told us of you" A Mermaid swims near the giant Kraken.

"Gillman" a Siren said.

"Ruby the very one" A Merrow said on the right near the siren.

"We heard of you," A Sirena said as its black hair flowed.

"Felt your power," A Mami Wata said on the left.

"All of it," a Chernava said as it swam and turned its head to Ruby.

A Lara spins in a swim.

"We know you" the Lara said as it now swims near its Queen.

Chelsea has somthing in mind.

"Ah Mers thanks for what you all did back there," Ruby said "And is nice to see you all".

Ruby starst to panic.

"I just that I start this week biggest issue was prom!"

Chelsea looks back then forward thinking what to say. 

"And now, I got a whole lot more going on" Ruby panics more.

Chelsea stops.

"So, I just need to go home".

Turns around to face Ruby. 

Ruby did not know how she can tell Chelsea of this. 

"Get some sleep and pretend this never happened"

Then in fear went past Chelsea.

The Mermaid froze. 

"Look, I just thought we had a lot in common" Chelsea was upset "but if you're gonna be salty about it, then bye-bye".

Chelsea turns away to swim.

The rest follow their Queen. 

Ruby stops turns her head around looks of shame, did I just?, she knew it's not safe out here and has to leave before the rest of the demons show up.

Not Chelsea and the others head home, swiming fast they are join by the Scylla, Charybdis, Sedna and Selkie. 

"Did she?" said a mermaid grips its fists.

"Not surprise" a Siren grows.

"Mers we ahead home" Chelsea calls out, The mermaid knows it will have to find out what is going on with Ruby, the demon will question her tommow.

Above the boys a heading back to the city. 

"Do you think Ruby is friends with the Mermaid?" Sam asked.

"Giving the Mermaid did not attack us" Arthur replies "It look like it was worried for Ruby, I think it they are friends".

"Should we tell sis?" brill asked. 

"No Agatha might make this worst, we will wait until then, but we will tell about Gordon and the Brine weapons" Arthur replies as he turns the wheel of the boat. 

"How did he ever get that?" Connor asked "No human or mortal can make that!".

"I'm not sure, but your are right no mortal can make them" Arthur keeps driving "He could have got it from a shading person from the trading area".

"But it's kept can eye on there?" Connor looked worried. 

"Or he got it from one of the Horde and Alliance from Azeroth" Arthur replies "the Fourth war start on Azeroth long while ago and ended many months ago".

"Sylvanas would not alow it" Sam pionts out.

"She's no longer warchief of the Horde and there has been no word of her" Arthur knew this was true "I will let Agatha know of the brine weapons and see if there is some shaden trade going on in Oceanside".

"What of Gordon?" Connor asked.

"We will need more proof, he got too many followers on his side" Arthur too knows this and see the video he got out shows that.

"Kevin too" Connor said to Arthur.

Meanwhile Ruby got home, gets on her bed, shoes missing. 

"Oh Ruby why did you do that?" she said to herself "Now Chelsea is upset with me, I let her again!".

Thinks hard.

"I talk to her tommow and hope she will not be upset" 

Ruby holds her doll close as she goes to sleep.

The Forest.

Back at the House cave as the mers make their way home.

The woods is full of demons, non one else dare go.

The Mers move past a Cyclops, two Chimeras and bask of Asp. 

The Mers go on as Two Lamias, An Ogre, A Griffin lands as a Mintoaur comes out of a few trees. 

A Drake near a pool where are many Lizardmen with harpies on the tree on the left.

Some of the group stayed while most left with Chelsea.

A Wyrm, a dragonkin is near the tunnel leadning down the house cave.

It rears up and sees the Mers.

A Mermaid came out.

As the Wyrm moves on.

"Chelsea" the mermaid calls out.

"We are back" Chelsea replies.

The mers see the new members.

"We got four new members" the mermaid with Chelsea said.

"And Gordon?" the mermaid asked.

"We sanke his boat and left him" Chelsea replies.

"Left him, we should have been killed" a Merrow said

"Agree" the mermaid said with Chelsea.

As other mers head to Chelsea.

"Ok eveyone lets get inside before any of the humans see us" Chelsea said..

All agreed and head into thier home, Chelsea is the last to go in.

Agatha is in the front room, on her laptop.

Looking up reports all demons, this made her worried

She looks up.

Ruby's room.

The door opens it's Agatha cheeking on Ruby.

There was no moving as magic races don't breath, so no up and down, or sounds as they are not humans or mortal races.

She feels her aura.

Agatha felt a bit better then shuts the door.

The Next morning.

Ruby walks to find Chelsea in hopes to apologise to her bestie. 

There was no one out.

Ruby heads to the end of the piar there is no cameras there. 

"Ruby"

Ruby Gillman froze, turns around and see.

A demon, standing there on it's tail with hands on it's hips, fins on the right and all nude, breasts and nipples, the demon did not care at all of it as it's eyes narrows at Ruby.

"Chelsea" Ruby said at once. 

"So" Chelsea said slowly with one brow up "What's up!".

"About last night I'm sorry I left you".

"Just skip to the part where you tell me everything" the Mermaid's eyes back at Ruby. 

Ruby knew Chelsea is noe joking around.

"I..last night I went to the Kraken kingdom" Ruby had to tell her "To get answers, all I got was her trying to make me her heir".

"I knew she would" Chelsea looks away.

"But I said no" Ruby replies.

"Ok then why did you go there?" 

"It's about what is going on ok!" Ruby snaps "About the demons showing up in a place they rarely are, They just keep coming now".

"You have no idea do you?" Chelsea questions, as it moves closer "I and the Mers were drawn here by a darkness that angers us demons".

"Darkness?" 

"But we talk of this somewhere else" 

They meet up in the same place as they where before heading to Oceanside on a sandy area full of followers.

They lay their backs on the sand.

Ruby felt she has to ask Chelsea now about the rising of demons.

"Do you know what darkness that draw you, the Mers and other demons to Oceanside?".

"Non of us know, only the Alpha can tell what it is" 

"I just wish there was a way to stop this madness, stop it happens to be sea witch, the demons would not have to attack, you guys can get more of your kins and I would not have to worry about being the.... I wouldn't have to become a prophesied princess warrior of an interspecies vendetta". "

Chelsea looks at her and knows its time to tell her.

"There is one way" Chelsea's finger moves up "Trident of Oceanus".

Ruby looks surprised at this.

"That giant fork my grandmother is so obsessed with".

"Yes, the Trident.

Ruby looks at Chelsea. 

"Let me show you".

The mermaid gets it's hands on Ruby.

"This is the first thing giant krakens learn when they first turn into giant"

"Think through your mind"

Ruby closes her eyes.

Ruby's start to glow white.

Then Ruby changes to her normal form.

Ruby is shocked at what just happened.

"WOW thank you"

"You're welcome," Chelsea said, gets closer to Ruby's face.

They are eye to eye.

"Pieture this".

Chelsea grabs her hand as the mermaid swims down.

"Chelsea and Ruby".

Then spins lets go of Ruby with her hands up.

Then goes and pulls Ruby close.

"This is so cool" Ruby geeks out looking at her bestie.

"There lot more then just that bestie" Chelsea lets go as the two are eye to eye.

The two start to play togather.

"The two of us on a quest" Chelsea said.

As drawings of gress and trees appaer.

Chelsea moves left as a drawning of a chimera, a catobelpas and griffin in the air.

"Stay with me"

Chelsea pulls Ruby.

"Once we have the trident I used it to end this madness".

The background turns bright blue as drawning of Merfolk appaers Mermaids, Merrows, Sirens, Sirens, Mami watas, Chernavas then Scylla and Charybdis appaer moving around the Mermaid Queen Chelsea.

"It can be our own story" Chelsea calls out reach her hand and her other one is near Ruby.

As a drawing of a dragon moves near Chelsea.

"Then I would not have to worry about my grandmother ruining our story".

Shows Emerlad then changes to Ruby's own kind, her poeple drawing of them in colors, adults and kids.

"They can know the truth at last".

Drawnings of them embracing the truth of demons whos them with cute dolls of demons.

"No more lies" Ruby's said happy.

Two kids hold a dragon and mermaid doll.

"I can be the real me" Ruby said happy.

"You and I" Ruby said looking at Chelsea "we would not have to hide our friendship ever agian".

As drawings of harpies, strixes, gargoyles fly in the background with drawing.

"My mom would not have to live in fear".

Drawning of her mom lookign scar then changes to joy.

Chelsea swims at Ruby.

"My family will accept you"

Draewing of her family and her, then charges with Chelsea with them.

"No more fear".

Both move down.

"And more my kin and ilk".

The two hold hands.

"Will appaer by my side" Chelsea said as both smile "No more hiding".

Both then swim up going in a spin.

"No fear, no hiding, no fear, no hiding, fear".

Both say as they swim up fast then at the top.

"No hiding!" both said as they get to eadch other, they are a foot from each other.

Back to reality.

Both laughing as they land back on the sand.

They are having fun.

Ruby felt great about it.

Chelsea smiles.

Ruby noticed somthing Chelsea looks different from the other mermaids, she as seen not long ago, it was clear.

"Chelsea, you look different from the other mermaids, are you a mermaid queen?".

"Yes" Chelsea said.

Ruby geeks out.

"Wow your the mermaid of mermaids" Ruby was happy this made Chelsea smile.

"I do want to end this cycle and find this darkness, so the demons would not have to attack the town, you get more merfolk once more; stop Emerald and help my people".

"But first you need to be trained" 

"The only other person who could do that happens to be the very one grandma"

Ruby sinks.

"I can train you".

"You can?" Ruby asked.

"Yes I am a Mermaid Queen" Chelsea replies ""The only thing left is for you to make your choice, Ruby Gillman".

"Choice?" Ruby asked.

"Should we get the Trident?" Chelsea asked. 

"But where would we find it?" 

"I know where it is" Chelsea replies "and I only found out not long ago".

Ruby as a giant kraken simws with Chelsea and arrive at the location they where yesterday. 

"The well of seas!" Ruby though.

"That's where your mother hide the Trident".

"She did!" Ruby surpised then "How do you know that?" Ruby asked this.

Chelsea turns its head to Ruby.

"Because i was there, my mother the Mermaid Queen Nerissa" Chelsea looks away down sadly.

Ruby looks shock of this she never though her bestie is Nerissa's daughter.

"My mom died trying to protect us".

"i'm so sorry" with sorrow in her voice.

"It's not your fault" Chelsea turns its head back to Ruby "Your where just a baby when it happened that night".

"So your Nerissa's daughter" Ruby said looking at her best friend.

"I am" Chelsea replies.

"So how are we supposed to get it?".

As the two look at the well of seas. 

"Each current has its own force, its own power. You have to swim through all of the currents to get to the center where the Trident is hidden"

Ruby looks around then sees a wreakced ship, that was from the lands of Azeroth from the Horde, she grabs it then throws it at the currnets, it is thrown around like a ping ball, as unstabel powers from lightning strikes, fire burst, bites of holy, after more its thrown back out, goes though chelsea like nothing.

The ship is crumbled up and burned to a crisp.

"Ok its bad, really bad" Ruby said.

Then the ship fades away to northing.

"Uh, Now you see?" Chelsea questions.

Ruby looks at Chelsea.

"You need some help".

All is left is for Ruby to make her choice a path to chose.

"Chelsea?".

"Yes my super sea girl bestie?".

"Show me how to used my powers".

"Oh" Chelsea swims "You made your choice" said in an excited voice.
