Chapter Text

The number one law in Krakoa. Make more mutants. That is the law funny enough her own brother created. And when that law came out mutants didn't hesitate. It wasn't long before a nursery was created. And it would cause other mutants to question if they should participate as well.

"Welcome to Horny island." Remy laughs. 

"Yeah being called a sex cult isn't so far off." Rogue chuckles.

Naturally of course when the topic was brought up with her. She said she didn't want kids. She gave a very good reason. She had years to master her powers. She didn't want to pass on an even worse curse to her children. 

Although truth be told the reason she said no.....she wouldn't mind having children. She just didn't want them with Gambit. 


"I must admit. I'm surprised Gambit would have let you come." Erik smirks.

"No man can tell me what to do." Rogue scoffs.

"That is true. So what can I help you with today?" Erik asks.

"The first law." Rogue said.

"Oh wow. Are you-" Erik started to ask.

"No." Rogue said. 

"Ah." Erik said.

"I have....several questions." Rogue said.

Erik raised his eyebrow at her. "You are considering it."

"Yes." Rogue said.

"And you know I am the one person you could be honest with." Erik said. "I will not judge you if you are hesitant. In fact I don't blame you. If not for your genetics making the child's offspring worse, your....upbringing at the hands of Mystique." 

"Yes." Rogue said.

"Well if you wish to talk. You know I'm here for you." Erik said.

"Does this mean yer willing to answer something....deeply personal?" Rogue asks.

"I suppose." Erik said. 

"When you met Lorna's mother-" Rogue starts off. "Did...did you care for her?"

Erik sighs at her. "My feelings for her were quiet different than the ones for both Madga and of course you."

"Erik-" Rogue said.

"Please let me finish." Erik said. "Yes it's true while I did not love her like the way I loved my wife or you. However I did care for her. And mourned her passing and while I regret on what will never be. I won't regret what we had. For it has given me Lorna as a result of it.' 

"And...was she happy? With her marriage at least?" Rogue asks.

"No." Erik said.

"So....you're willing to be the mistress in a marriage but never have one yourself?" Rogue jokes.

"Of course. And for it is worth. I never had a so called mistress during our time together." Erik smirks.

"That's good to hear." Rogue smiles.

"Why do you ask these questions?" Erik asks.

"Would you.....be willing to be a mistress again?" Rogue asks.

"Well I-" Erik's eyes widened. "Oh." Then his face got serious. "Rogue I-"

"Well?" Rogue asks.

"Obviously the answer is yes. But forgive me but....you value your marriage." Erik said.

"Ah said I didn't want kids. What ah didn't mention is that I didn't want kids with HIM." Rogue said.

"Oh." Erik said. "This shouldn't be surprised but....after everything that happened between us-" he takes a step closer. 

Rogue then pressed her lips against his. The last time they did this. She ended this. The last time they were this close she simply said it was her and not him. 

"Anna." Erik whispers. 

"Ah want this Max. Ah want you." Rogue said. Then she takes his hand. 

"I care far too much about you to not ask if you are sure. And not do something you will regret." Erik said.

Rogue carefully rubs a hand across his face. "Regret was never the word ah used when it came to this." 

Erik then leads Rogue to his room. And while she is the only person on this island to has seen his personal chambers. Even now he still hasn't changed.

"It's almost as if we were back on Utopia." Rogue chuckles.

"Only this time I believe I have you for MORE than one night." Erik smirks.

Rogue smiles and kisses him again. When Rogue tries again to paw that damn armor off him. Erik helped her by using his powers to remove it for her. 

"Much better." Rogue mutters.

"Prächtig." Erik said softly. 

Rogue absolutely loves it when he whispers German to het. 

 "hübsch." Erik said kissing her cheek. "Anregend." He removed her jacket.
"Süd." He unzips her zipper to lower her clothes. "Schurke." He kisses her neck.

He lead her to the bed. He removed her top on the way there. He carefully lays her down. He removes  the bottom half of her uniform. 

"Still not too late to reconsider." Erik said.

"Oh shut up." Rogue then reassured him with a kiss.

Several council meets later Nightcrawler had an announcement. Based on the look on her face it was good news. 

"Rogue is pregnant!" Kurt said.

"Wow." Charles said.

"That's wonderful!" Storm said.

"Man can't believe Remy is gonna be a dad." Kitty said.

"The joys of Krakoa. Anything can happen." Erik shrugs.

"I can't believe my grandchild is going to be half rat." Raven said annoyed.

"Maybe you'll get lucky and the child will look like her." Erik said. "Kurt now is the time where you say a prayer." He smirks.

"Believe me I already have." Kurt grins.

When Erik left the council meeting Emma walks out with him. Erik raised his eyebrow at him. 

"Yes?" Erk asks.

"Your ex is pregnant. This must kill you." Emma said.

"No I'm genuinely happy for Rogue. It's the a good step in the right direction. Now I can look forward to the future. No I have too. Besides someone needs to try and be a good role model to the child. Because we both know it's not going to be Gambit." Erik said.

"I can teach the child how to dress." Emma said.

"Yes. Because god forbite Auntie Kate gets her hands on the poor child." Erik said.

"God forbid Uncle Charles tries to teach them about mortality." Emma scoffs.

"Well look on the bright side. If Rachel and Nate are ever born in this timeline. Auntie Emma will be there to make sure their not led astray." Erik smirks. 

"It would be morally irresponsible to leave them on their own devices." Emma said.

Naturally of course Erik visits Rogue to congratulate her. As the co-leader of Krakoa he feels obligated to do so. Besides unofficially he is talking to her to discuss what her next move is regarding her child. There were brief flashbacks of Anya but Erik shakes his head and focuses on the task at hand. 

"Erik." Rogue said.

"Kurt told everyone at the council meeting." Erik said.

"Of course he did." Rogue chuckles.

"So how are you?" Erik asks.

"Ah'm nervous." Rogue admits.

"If you like. I can share some insight." Erik said.

"Is...is this about Anya?" Rogue asks.

"Yes." Erik said.

"Go for it." Rogue said.

"Magda and I were happy. Excited but also scared." Erik said. "Even worse we are alone. We had absolutely nothing and no one. You are different. Because you have family and friends willing to help you out."

"Are you going to order them to?" Rogue smirks.

"Of course. The great thing about having actual power." Erik grins.

When Rogue gave birth everybody was happy about the new addition to the Darkholme/Wagner/Wagner family. Although to Erik's surprise to when she named her newborn son.

"Everyone this is Jacob." Rogue said softly.

"He's so cute!" Kate said.

"He has your eyes." Erik said softly. /She...named him after-/ 

"Would have loved if he had mine but hey still early mon ami." Remy laughs.

"Indeed." Erik said. "So who called dibs on teaching how to use a sword." 

"Obviously I'll teach him how to use a Katana. Elf can teach him how to be a pirate." Logan said.

"And I'll teach him how to be a cool one." Kate smirks.

"So mags you gonna teach how to wear a cape?' Logan jokes.

Erik scoffs at the notion. "Obviously. How dare you question me that I wouldn't."

After getting Remy to watch over Jacob. She managed to have a long overdue conversation with Erik. After all Jacob is his child too.

"I carefully had the child monitored just in case he inherited a nasty surprise from your abilities." Erik said.

"Thank you." Rogue said softly. "So now it's just the two of us. Tell me how you really feel?"

"I love the name you picked." Erik said.

"I knew you would sugar." Rogue smiles. "So...Listen Erik. Ah don't plan on cutting you out of Jacob's life."

"So far Lorna, Billy and Tommy are the normal ones. The secert is get them the hell away from me." Erik said.

"You weren't in a good place when you met the twins." Rogue said.

"I'll never in a good place." Erik said.

Rogue sighs. "You never have to make me beg Erik. Please don't let me start now."

"Okay Rogue. For you I'll do everything you ask for me." Erik said.

"Good to know." Rogue smiles.

Soon enough when Rogue once again felt like he needed a break. Erik agreed to watch him. Which Rogue was happy about and thankfully Logan has the perfect distraction by having go with him on a mission. 

"Yer letting your ex watch over yer kid?" Logan asks.

"He does have experience with them Logan." Rogue said.

"Yes and they end up dying or hate him." Logan points out.

"Ya lucky he's not around to hear ya say that sugah." Rogue scoffs.

"Does he know Jacob's HIS kid?" Logan asksn

"W-What!?" Rogue asks.

"Come on Rogue. I can literally smell it." Logan said. "Not my place to judge ya. Never liked the cajun anyway. Besides you were my friend first." Logan shrugs. "So yet gonna divorce the loser?'

"I don't know." Rogue said.

"Always thought you could do better." Logan said.

"You think Erik is better?" Rogue asks.

"How the hell should I know? I never dated the bastard!" Logan said. "So why did ya dump him?"

"It wasn't his fault it was mine." Rogue said.

"You gave Magneto it's not you it's me speech!" Logan laughs.

"What the hell does Scott and Jean see in you?" Rogue asks.

When Destiny was resurrected she was utterly disappointed in Rogue for marrying Gambit. A failure in her raising of Rogue. However.....then she gets a vision of her grandson. And she smiles.

"What did you see?" Raven asks.

"That we didn't completely fail our daughter." Irene said.

"Does she leave the idiot? Please say yes." Raven said.

"Unclear however the boy." Irene said.

"Jacob kills Gambit?" Raven asks.

"Why spoil the surprise." Irene smiles.

When Irene confronts Erik raised his eyebrow at her. Given how it's after the council meeting it must be personal or important.

"I wish to speak with you Magnus. Privately of course." Irene said.

"Of course." Erik said.

When it was just the two of them Erik makes Irene some tea. He figured that since the house of M would be empty since Lorna is currently doing things.

"So what did you wish to discuss?" Erik asks.

"Why didn't you kill me mike Moira asked you too?" Irene asks.

"Hmmm saw that did you? If you must know I'm smart enough to know that Mystique is far to much of a wild card to risk declare war with.
"Yet you hesitated in bringing me back." Irene said.

"It's cute to think I have any real power here. I'm Magneto. I'm just the face." Erik said.

Then

“How the hell did you let this happen!?!” Moira X is enraged. She feels betrayed. She is PISSED. 

“Destiny is smarter than all of us. She can see into the future. She saw your plan. She saw what you would do. What you wouldn't do. So she planned this. She either planned her death so you could build Krakoa. Or she brought herself back by leaving a journal behind.” Erik said.

“You have to kill her.” Moira said.

“No.” Erik said.

“What!?!” Moira asks.

“You can't do it?” Charles asks.

“Of course I can. She wears a metal helmet. Yes I can. I just won't.” Erik said.

“WHY THE FUCK NOT!?!” Moria demands. 

“I have done many things. You know this. We all know this. However I will not go to war with Raven Darkholme for you. I will not go to war with ROGUE for you.” Erik said.

“I know how you feel about her but-” Charles said.

“No you don't. That was always the problem with you. You read minds yet you lose your common fucking sense.” Erik scoffs. “Raven Darkholme was willing to arrest me and calm me a nazi at a fucking holocaust memorial museum. And that was just a job. Imagine when she kills us because it gets personal. This is not fear. These are facts. She's not as powerful. But in this…her rage just might be greater than mine. Of course you don't understand the concept because you don't love anyone enough to be angry over. And that just might be your downfall.” Erik said.

“Not our?” Charles asks.

“Ask me again if she kills us and we end up coming out of egg.” Erik scoffs.

Now

"Maybe you should start being the brains." Irene said.
"Oh? Does something in the future?" Erik asks.

"Are you asking me if you die?" Irene asks.

"Not me." Erik said. "Never me."

"You still love her." Irene said.

"I assure you despite how things ended between us  she still means a lot to me." Erik said.

"I should hope so." Irene said. "I must confess when I found out Rogue married Gambit. I wished to be dead again.'

"Heh. Understandable." Erik smirks.

"And I must say. When I found out about Jacob it irked me to think that man polluted my grandson's DNA with his bumpkin blood." Irene then began to have a huge grin. "You can't believe how ecstatic I was to find out he's not the biological father.'

"Ah so there it is." Erik said.

"Raven has no idea of course. I have told no one." Irene said.

"And you wish to blackmail me now?" Erik asks.

"Of course not. I'm asking to form an alliance with you ane only you. I don't trust Xavier. I know how this ends. And now that Jacob was born. The story has changed.  And I want a different ending." Irene said.

"And you plan on using my weakness for family to get me to do what you say." Erik said.

"Well?" Irene asks.

"Very well. If Krakoa...my family is truly in danger. I shall hear your proposal." Erik said.

"Excellent." Irene said. "First things first. If you plan on stepping down for the love of god pick your own replacement."

"I have no plans of doing so." Erik said.

"In that case you must watch Charles Xavier." Irene said.

"Because he a good man. And he will constantly let us all burn to prove he is good." Erik sighs. "Do I dare ask how bad?"

"When the time comes. You can't die." Irene said. "For in your absence Krakoa WILL fall."

"Don't die." Erik mutters. "Fine."

"Excellent. Now then I suppose I shall give you a shovel talk." Irene smirks.

"No need. I am power. I am Magneto. I give you my word that I would never purposely hurt Rogue in any shape or form." Erik said. "I am not arrogant enough to think I'm good enough for her. In fact quite the opposite."

"Excellent." Irene said. "I already think you're an improvement from Gambit."

Erik snorts at that. "I'm pretty sure that bar is low with that. But I do appreciate it." 

Chapter Text

When Erik sees Jacob again Rogue is grateful for Erik's visit of course. But given the rumors have been going around she has questions now.

"Yer having tea with Destiny?" Rogue asks.

"It's no rumor. It's true." Erik said.

".....She knows." Rogue said.

"Yes." Erik said.

"She's emotionally blackmailing you." Rogue said.

"Yes." Erik said.

"Want me involved?" Rogue asks.

"Not sure. But stick around and I just might." Erik jokes.

"So what are you going to do?" Rogue asks.

"Well after I finish helping you. I'm going to hell." Erik said.

"Oh wow you're recruiting HER." Rogue said.

"Indeed. Wish me luck." Erik chuckles.

Rogue gives him a good luck kiss instead. Which of course Erik accepts happily.

Funny enough Erik didn't go to Limbo. Because he was told that the person he had a meeting with wasn't there. In fact she was in  the waiting room area.

"Oh good you're here." Madelyne Pryor said.

"Why did we agree to meet here?" Erik asks

"I honesty wanted to see the look on your face." Maddie smirks.

"Why?" Erik asks.

"Wait....you actually brought him here." Gabby said.

"Heh Queen of Limbo indeed." Omega Black aka Sylvia Rossovich.

"You formed a clone support group." Erik said. Then it dawns on him. "Oh my god."

"By golly I think he's got it." Maddie said.

"Welcome to the land of Krakoa Joseph Lehnsherr!" Hope said.

"Oh god fucking damn it!" Erik said. "Wait you gave him my last name?"

"Someone should." Maddie said.

"YOU!" Joseph said angrily.

"No." Erik said. "You don't need me. You need Rogue."

"Rogue." Joseph said. "She's here? Where is she?"

Erik rolls his temples. "Nope. I'm not doing this."

"Wait did he date her too?" Josh asks. "The house of M having their own inferno saga?"

"You dated Rogue!?" Joseph asks.

"Why?" Erik asks. "Why did you do this?"

"Because you want my friendship. You bring back clones." Maddie said. "ALL clones."

"God damn it." Erik said. "Did you at least do what I asked?"

"Yes yes here." Maddie hands him a vial. "I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results."

"It's not me that I'm thinking off." Erik points out.

"So what's the endgame here?" Maddie asks.

"We don't die." Erik said.

"Kinda ironic how you're trying to recruit her when we bring back her vicitm." Maddie said.

"Yes yes the joke is not lost on me." Erik rolls his eyes.

After he managed to lose Joseph ; Erik went to Rogue to warn her. Rogue was shocked that he was back. But she IS happy don't get her wrong.

"So what are ya going to do?" Rogue asks.

"Me? What are you going to do?" Erik asks. "You have to tell him about Remy. Hmmm maybe he'll calm down with Jacob."

"You'll watch him while I explain everything to him?" Rogue asks.

"Of course." Erik said.

"Thank you." Rogue said.

"Of course." Erik smiles.

At the next tea meeting with Irene; Erik asks jer more questions about the future. And even Irene can be surprised now and again.

"Did you know about Anya?" Erik asks. "Did you know she was human?"

"No." Irene said. "But I suspect that was the reason you left the council?"

"And what would happen?" Erik asks.

"Hope summers take your place. Selene Galileo didn't mike that." Irene said.

"Ah. So that's why you had me befriend the goblin queen. If there's a seat opening offer a legitimate counter offer to both her tantrum but truly replace Apocalypse." Erik said. "Clever."

"Thank you." Irene said. "And now that you have Jacob. You're not going to leave now are you?"

"I can't. I failed all my other children. I won't fail him." Erik said. "And I won't abandon Rogue."

"Good. You leave you die." Irene said.

"Hmmmm based on your tone. I suppose that I joined arrako officially and to prove myself. I destroy my back up." Erik said. "And even icing on the cake. You bring back my clone to take my place."

"Yes." Irene said.

"Rogue will not like this." Erik said.

"She can hate me and be alive." Irene said.

"So what's the plan with Gambit? You hate him far too much to not want to deal with him." Erik said. "Given how Mystique tried with her....plan. I'm curious how you're going to try and get rid of him."

Irene wasn't expecting that question. "He's not worth it. He's not worth planning against."

Erik chuckles at that. "Looks like even a precog can be shocked."

"What are you going to do about Gambit?" Irene asks.

"Why would I do anything about him? He's Rogue's husband. She is the mother of my child but she picked him. She married him.
And as much as we hate it we have to live with it." Erik said.

"......How are you saying that with a straight face?" Irene asks.

"Oh sure THAT you can see." Erik rolls his eyes.

Erik sees Rogue again and this time it was just because. Nobody questions Erik doing this because after all he gave Rogue his word he would do his part to help. And he IS a man of his word after all. He's Magneto.

"I think Destiny might plot something against Gambit." Erik said. "You should watch over him until it's safe."

"I....but you hate him." Rogue said. "You've been very vocal and never hide that."

"Yes but you don't. You picked him. You married him. You rejected me. And as much as I would to have it be the other way around. Your resistance means more to me than my own insistence." Erik said.

"Erik I-" Rogue said.

"What?" Erik asks.

Rogue gave him a quick kiss which surprised him.

"Rogue?" Erik asks.

"You really feel that way?" Rogue asks.

"Don't feel guilty Rogue. The heartbreak wasn't in vain since your secondary mutation gives you the power to make broken men whole when they fall in love with you." He shrugs.

"Still?" Rogue asks. "You....you still-"

Erik raised his eyebrow. "You actually think we stop?"

Chapter Text

As Rogue puts Jacob down for his nap. Remy came into the room.

"No Erik today cher?" Remy asks.

"Maybe he'll come by later." Rogue shrugs.

"Of course." Remy rolls his eyes.

"He's been a huge help to us." Rogue said.
"Yeah but there's always a different angle with him." Remy scoffs.

"Erik has made it very clear about his motives. Besides if he had any ah would knock him to the north pole." Rogue smirks

"Very true." Remy laughs.

Weeks later Erik receives a vistor to the house of M. And of all people it's Psyloke.

"Oh my what a surprise." Erik said.

"How the hell did you do it?" Psyloke asks.

"Forgive le but I don't know what you mean." Erik said.

"How did you bring back my daughter?" Psyloke asks.

"Oh god they brought her back." Erik said.

"So you don't deny it." Psyloke said.

"Absolutely not." Erik said.

"Answer my question." Psyloke said.

"Simple. I befriend the goblin queen. She asks her time traveling son for a favor. A sample of your daughter's DNA before Havok blew up Sinister's lab. After explaining how Sinister screwed you over and Emma only brought her back to make Alex's guilt go away. She was more than willing to help me with my plan." Erik smiles.

"What do you get out of this?" Psylocke asks.

"The look on Emma's face. The fact that I could bring solace that I will never get myself. From one parent to another. I understand your pain more than anyone." Erik said.

"Really?" Psylocke asks.

Erik nods. "Before all of this...I had a daughter. She died and I went to a very dark place. I can't bring my daughter back. But I can bring back yours."

"She's human." Psylocke said.

"Yes...she was." Erik said. "And it breaks my heart knowing I'll never see her or hear laugh again."

"W-What was her name?" Psylocke asks.

"Her name was Anya." Erik said.

At the next Quiet council meeting. Emma gave Erik cold daggers. Erik knows what SHE wished to discussed.

"Destiny?" Erik asks.

"Yes she knows." Irene said.

"Ah." Erik said.

"You brought back Psyloke's child." Exodus said.

"I did. Emma wronged her. And I as a member of this council decided to give her compensation." Erik said.

"Bringing her child back won't bring back Anya." Charles said.

"I know. And I won't let other mutants go through the same pain. Never again." Erik said.

"You shouldn't have done this without our-" Charles said.

"You can't comprehend this because you don't love your children. Well at least Legion." Erik said.

"Oh I'm sure Quicksilver would love to hear you say that." Emla scoffs.

"I'm not apologizing for my actions. So don't even try." Erik said. "Now is there anything else you wish to discuss?"

"Yeah I do!" Sinister raised his hand.

"I'm not going to approve of your chimera project." Erik said.

"Not that! I mean what the hell is going on with you and Rogue?" Sinister asks.

"Wait you're asking me? Shouldn't Mystique or Destiny-" Erik jokes.

"Now that he's mentioned it I too would like to know." Exodus said.

"Oh look at that you're talking to me." Erik said. "She asked for help. I said yes."

"Is this when you randomly say a Sinister secert?" Raven asks.

"Ugh FINE!" Sinister rolls his eyes. "Sinister secret 542."

"How many-" Kate asks

"When it comes to adorable Jacob LeBeau. Remy you AREN'T the father." Sinister said.

"Oh my god." Raven said.

"Am I supposed to get this reference?" Erik asks.

"Gambit isn't the father." Sinister rolls his eyes.

"Oh thank god!" Raven said.

"Erik is this true?" Charles asks.

"I refuse to dignify that with a response." Erik said.

"Sinister secret 509." Sinister smirks.

"I can't tell if he actually doesn't number them or that he stopped caring." Erik said.

"A certain German is forming his own little alliance." Sinister smirks.

"Honestly at this point I think it's just a support group. Single parents who lost their child." Erik said. "Hmmm I should speak to Wolfsbane and Syrin." Erik said.

"That's all you have to say?" Exodus asks.

"Well I'm guessing he's attempting to cause drama where he hopes Emma here attempts to blackmail me, or Charles in his jealousy
into stepping down from my chair and therefore he can stage his own nefarious plan." Erik said.

"You're no fun." Sinister said.

When the meeting was over Erik walked out and of course received a mental message from Charles. Because he wanted to talk. Erik just rolled his eyes and responded by putting on his helmet.

"So got anything for me?" Erik asks.

"Well you might have to worry about Kate. Exodus funny enough is still loyal to you. Charles is extremely disappointed in you." Irene said.

"Well he always is. That's not new. You know my concern isn't about me. It's never about me!" Erik scoffs.


The council kept quiet about Jacob because two reasons. They knew if Gambit found out he would not be quiet about it and it would cause a scandal. And two Magneto and Rogue would murder them all.

"What is Sinister up to?" Rogue asks.

"No idea. But it's probably nothing good." Erik said. "So what will you do?"

Rogue stands still. "Ah need to end this."

"Most understandable. I don't blame you." Erik said. "You know me our time together I will always cherish."

"Good to know." Rogue said.

At the next meeting everyone was real quiet. Nobody wanted to talk about the big elephant in the room.

"Would you like to say anything?" Emma asks.

"Yes. Does Sinister have any secerts he wants to get off his chest?" Erik asks.

"Sinister secret 49. Rictor and Apocalypse." Sinister smirks.

"That is NOT a secert." Erik scoffs.
"Wait even YOU knew!?" Raven laughs.

"Well well a plot twist indeed." Emma smirks.

"Wait what?" Charles asks.

"How did you find out?" Sinister asks. "Did Rogue tell you?"

"You're joking right? How could I NOT know? I'm not stupid. I have EYES." Erik said. "But this is Krakoa. And I'm not going to judge what two consenting mutants do in their own free time."

When the meeting was over Erik and Irene had a little meeting of their own.

"She's not leaving you." Irene said.

"Excuse me?" Erik asks.

"She's not leaving YOU." Irene said.

"Your hatred for Gambit clouds you. But even though I am power. I am Magneto." Erik said. "Not even I am arrogant enough to consider myself ANYONE'S home and harbor."

Irene just sighs and drags Erik to the direction of a gate.

"Destiny!?" Erik asks.

"Look for yourself you self-hating fool." Irene scoffs.

Erik raised his eyebrow at her however to his surprise. He sees Gambit. Gambit storming off. Clearly enraged. Clearly angry.

"Gambit?" Erik raised his eyebrow.

"You thought she wouldn't pick you. You seriously think so little of yourself." Irene said.

"I...." Erik was speechless.

"Go to her." Irene said. "Go to Rogue."

".......You're just determined aren't you." Erik said.

When Erik checks on Rogue he finds her sitting alone in their house taking care of their son Jacob and even more importantly putting fresh food in the bowls for the cats.

"Rogue?" Erik asks.

"Let me guess Irene told you." Rogue said.

"Irene dragged me and I saw Remy leave." Erik said.

"Oh." Rogue said.

"What do you want to do now?" Erik asks.
"Yer asking me?" Rogue asks.

"The ball was always in your corner." Erik said.

"Could you stay with me. Please. Ah don't want to be alone right now." Rogue said.

"I'm here Rogue. Whatever you need from me." Erik assures her. "I'm here."

Rogue felt at ease. "Ah know. And Ah absolutely love you for it."
