Chapter Text

Kipuka loved reading the novel-Hidden Omega by NongJian,he loved the characters and also the plot.It was full of suspense, romance and comedy.

He was just a normal college student in China but sometimes he wished he was a rich character in that novel so that he wouldn't have to study and he could sleep all day.

The novel revolved around an Omega pretending to be a beta and his alpha friend who is also his boss who likes him but treats him harshly because he thinks he is dating an omega already.

There is also one more character,an enigma who is not only as pretty as an omega but also a psychopath who would do anything for the love of his life.

He is pretending to be an omega but in reality he is the owner of X Holdings,one the leading companies of Country P.

He falls in love with Gao Tu after he shows him love and care,which he had never experienced before but from Kipuka's perspective he didn't think it was love,it seemed more like a child craving love instead.

The novel basically follows the three of them and their journey as they overcome hardships and claim each other.

Kipuka couldn't wait for the next chapter after being left in a cliffhanger. He wanted to know how Shen Wen Lang will react after realizing Gao Tu is an omega and is single,will he confess his feelings? Or act betrayed?

He wished the author would post everyday but he knows that is impossible.

He quickly brushed his teeth and went to his bed,planning to sleep early since tomorrow a new chapter was dropping.

He went to sleep thinking whether he would be an alpha or enigma? He surely wouldn't be an omega.

When Kipuka opened his eyes,the first thing he noticed was the bed he was sleeping on,which was king sized and more comfortable than the bed in his dormitory,which is weird because he was sleeping there. He woke up in panic,noticing how this room looked nothing like his,it was huge and looked luxurious.The silk he was wearing probably cost more than his one month dormitory fee.

He wondered if he was kidnapped?The door to this room opened and a man entered and bowed to him,"Mr.Sheng,I hope you had a good night's sleep. The breakfast is ready,should I bring it here?"

"You mean Sheng as in Sheng Shaoyou!?" He asked bewildered,to which the man replied with a nod,a curious glint in his eyes,"Yes,are you perhaps not feeling well? I have never seen you in such a state."

Did Kipuka seriously transmigrate to his favourite novel as Sheng Shaoyou,an S-class alpha and a minor character in the novel who is,Shen Wen Lang's rival?

He had read a lot of novels where the mc transmigrates to a novel or a manhwa they were reading but he never expected it to happen to him!

Judging by the way the man in front of him was addressing him,he was probably Sheng Shaoyou's secretary-Chen Pinming.

"No,I am fine..I will come down for breakfast,you can go out."

"As you wish,sir"

Kipuka is dead meat now,he has no idea how Sheng Shaoyou behaves around others except when he interacts with Shen Wen Lang.

'It's probably better to avoid Hua Yong and Shen Wen Lang as much as possible if he wants to survive,also he hoped Gao Tu was doing okay,that idiot Shen Wen Lang treats him like dirt',he thought .

For now he had to think about his survival first.

"Mr.Sheng,you smell so good,will you let me claim you and make you the father of my child?"Hua Yong whispered as he pinned Sheng Shaoyou to the wall.

'Has this lunatic finally lost his mind?!',Sheng Shaoyou thought.

"What nonsense are you spouting, I have no interest in you. You are a liar."

"Mr.Sheng,you're hurting me,I have done nothing but loved you,I,can give you anything you desire but please just be mine and I will become yours."

"I may be an omega but for some reason my omega tells me to mark you and take you like an alpha. Don't you think an omega is better than an enigma or an alpha?"Gao Tu told him while hugging him tightly leaving Sheng Shaoyou speechless.

"We can live peacefully away from the lunatics,we can buy a house somewhere and adopt pets and then get married, what do you think,isn't it a good idea? Please say yes,I am begging you."

"Since when did the great Sheng Shaoyou became so adorable,I wonder?" Sheng Wen Lang pretended to wonder while caressing Sheng Shaoyou's cheeks,who was currently sleeping in his couch.

"I can't prove it yet but I have a feeling that you are not the Sheng Shaoyou that I know.How are you truly?"

After Kipuka's rut passed, he was forced to face reality as the Ceo of Shengfang Biotech,even though he had no idea about business and how he will handle it.

He wished he could just sleep all day.

He was also worried about his parents,what will they think and react after they realise that their son disappeared? He missed them and he missed his friends too. He was homesick.Sheng Shaoyou was a lonely man,his dad hospitalized and his mother had passed away when he was young. His dad had other illegitimate children who Sheng Shaoyou hated,all they did was waste the company's money. If he were him,which ironically he is,he would not spare them a single glance,let alone a penny.

He realized that he looked the same as before,but now he looked more serious? He wondered how the other characters looked, they probably looked handsome as well,with Hua Yong often being mistaken as an omega,he must be a beauty.He was just a fan after all.

He had wrote down all the important characters and events that happened and how to avoid it.

According to his estimate, Hua Yong is already pretending to be an omega and Shen Wen Lang's assistant but hasn't fallen in love with Gao Tu,but he must be starting to feel something. He was still unsure why he would pretend to be an omega,after all he is the Ceo of X Holdings and lived lavishly, Kipuka could never understand rich people, even though he is rich now since he is in Sheng Shaoyou's body right?

Sheng Shaoyou acted very differently with others but honestly, he was a good person at heart. He was cold to most people but with some he had warmed up and showed them compassion including Gao Tu and Hua Yong.

He never thought lowly of them or tries to harass Hua Yong thinking he was an omega,although he too thought Hua Yong was pretty.

Sheng Shaoyou had a lot of faults,he would get in fights with Shen Wen Lang and would date and leave omegas like anything.

But he was a caring son,who was even ready to beg for the medication being developed by HS corporation if needed since he failed to buy the company.

Turns out one of the event will happen today! Shengfang Biotech was invited to the banquet held by A company and this event was quite important because in this banquet some drunk alpha will mistake Gao Tu as an omega and try to assualt him but thankfully Shen Wen Lang stops him and shows affection towards Gao Tu to calm him down.

That alpha was taken care of by Hua Yong afterwards,rumours has it that a man was admitted to a hospital later after being stabbed between his legs-'Pfft,deserved',Kipuka thought.

He really didn't want to attend it because he was scared of messing up and revealing that he was not Sheng Shaoyou but deep down he also wanted to see the scene between Shen Wen Lang and Gao Tu in real life.

He made excuses even but Chen Pinming saw right through him and afraid that it was ooc he quickly git ready for the party,planning to stay away from the main leads as much as possible.

He quickly got in car and prayed that everything will go fine,he even asked Chen Pinming to create a list of guests who he should interact with when in reality he just wanted to know who was who.

They reached the venue after some time,and the hotel it was held at was lavish,Kipuka had never been to anything like this before,he was getting excited.

They were greeted by the host and he was nervous but Chen Pinming saved him and excused him in the pretense of being sick.

"You look really pale,wait here while I bring medicine for you okay?",he told him to which he could only nod as he sat on the chair.

He watched Chen Pinming leave and was touched by his genuineness,he would have loved him as a friend in real life.

He was bored and decided to look around and stumbled upon the dessert section,Sheng Shaoyou wasn't a fan of sweet things but Kipuka surely was and wouldn't let the opportunity to have desserts go to waste.

He quickly helped himself to different types of tarts and cakes and sat down,quickly devouring it.

He was so busy enjoying it that he didn't hear the footsteps approaching him followed by a voice he didn't recognize,"Wow,so even an S-class alpha like you enjoys sweet things huh? If only your personality wasn't bitter.."

Okay wow,first of all that was rude and he was sure it was him,the one and only Shen Wen Lang.

'What a bastard,now he could understand why Sheng Shaoyou was so rude to him,he totally deserved it. Poor Gao Tu',he thought but before he could reply,a calm voice cut in.

"This is a banquet and we both are here as guests,so let's try to be civil towards each other, Mr.Shen. I also apologize on behalf of him,Mr.Sheng."

He was sure that was Goa Tu,he is so nice just like on the novel, he even defended and apologized to him.

He still had yet to look at them but he really wanted to see how they looked so he turned around,and was shocked to see their faces! The novel didn't do them justice.

Gao Tu looked so cute in glasses and Shen Wen Lang looked so cool, even though he had that annoying smirk on his face.

"Wow",he spoke out loud without realizing and covered his mouth in embarrassment.

"Wow? Seriously what is wrong with you today? First you are eating sweets and now instead of answering you just go 'wow'?",Shen Wen Lang mocked him.

"I meant wow,do you have no etiquette at all? I have sweets when I am in the mood,what's it to you huh?",he followed up.

"Hmp,whatever. You do you,I don't care. Also you are reeking the whole place up,first it was bitter and now it is kinda tangy? Are you that upset and angry that I talked to you?" Shen Wen Lang quipped before walking away,followed by Gao Tu who bowed to him before leaving.

He sighed before he sat down again and went back to eating,wondering what just transpired,he was in a bad mood now but he was so happy after seeing them in real life, he wondered where Hua Yong was but he didn't really care.

He finished eating and went back to find where he was supposed to be,turns out Chen Pinming was already there,looking worried.

"Where were you,I was so worried"

"Don't worry,I just went for a walk"

"Walk? Okay never mind,here have this, it is supposed to help with stomach ache"

"You know what I actually feel better now so no need",he replied.

He was still anxious about the alpha who will try to assault Gao Tu,although he wanted to witness the romantic scene in real life, he couldn't sit idly knowing he could avoid the incident from happening, because Gao Tu was traumatized for it happened.

But how could he prevent it?Think Kipuka think!

He suddenly remembered! The alpha who was responsible was drunk and was supposed to be ugly and wearing a weird hat for whatever reason so he quickly looked around and found him,the ugliest one here wearing a funky hat looking drunk as heck.

He just had to prevent the two of them from meeting but how? Should he approve the alpha and make him leave,no,maybe he could distance them instead?

But was shocked when the alpha approached him,talking about joining hands with him and he entertained him before asking him if they could talk privately.

He would take him to the hallways and excuse himself to the bathroom before leaving him there hanging,it would create enough time for him to think of a way to make Gao Tu leave.

They made their ways to the hallways while the alpha suggested going for more drinks but he made the excuse of the going to the bathroom and asked him to wait here,he was followed by his assistant who looked at him like he had grown two heads.

He knew that Sheng Shaoyou looked down on everyone who were lower than him so it was out of character for him to behave this way but anything to save Gao Tu!

He could simply lie and say that he mistook him for someone else.

While he walked away from him,he smelled a floral scent, like that of an orchid. It smelled so amazing,je loved it.

Wait,orchid!? Oh no,was it Hua Yong,no it can't be! He can't meet him,Kipuka thought,well he was planning to leave anyway so it didn't matter,he wouldn't meet him.

"Ouch..stop it!",a voice as soft as cotton came from where he left,don't tell him that stupid alpha attacked Hua Yong instead? But he will be alright since he was an enigma right?

He made his way to the main hall but stopped in his tracks when he smelled the pheromones released by Hua Yong,it was so bitter and for some reason before he could stop himself he turned around and went back, and saw a beautiful man-Hua Yong,being pinned against the wall by the alpha.

He didn't knew what happened but suddenly he gained strength and pulled the alpha away from Hua Yong,"You shouldn't assault people like that you shitcface. I hate people like you." 

The alpha cowered in fear,Kipuka didn't even realize that his pheromones were leaking,affecting the alpha before him who apologized before running away.

He knew Hua Yong was strong and could push him away himself, he still had no idea why he didn't do anything but he couldn't walk away while someone was being assaulted now could he?

He quickly looked at Hua Yong who was still maintaining his omega image and was looking at him so innocently with his big eyes,he was 100% sure that he was Hua Yong. His pheromones turned floral again,combining with his pheromones and it smelled so good,Sheng Shaoyou wanted to stop but he didn't know how to control his pheromones still.

He knew Hua Yong didn't like alphas trying to dominate him with their pheromones and now he looked like one of them.

What if he kills but before he could overthink any further,Chen Pinming appeared with scent patches and put in on him,and looked at him in worry.

"Mr.Sheng,please go the bathroom and take time to cool down, I will meet you there after I help this omega and report the alpha. I have already called security."

He could only nod before he made walked away,thinking about Hua Yong trembling from fear..was it real?

"M-mr.Sheng,sorry for trouble you and thank you for helping an ordinary omega like me..I could never repay you for this."

"Don't worry,everyone should behave respectfully towards each other. It was my duty to help." He replied before include his speed.

What is Hua Yong saying,he shouldn't be thanking me.He didn't care about anyone except Gao Tu in the novel and he never thanks or apologizes to anyone, not even Gao Tu!,Kipuka thought as he walked away blushing.

"What an interesting alpha,he didn't even try to act smug about it. I feel like I have smelled his pheromones before",Hua Yong murmured under his breath.

"Sorry,did you say something?",Chen Pinming asked.

"No,I am okay now,you should go look for him instead" he replied before walking away,already thinking about how to execute that alpha.

Meanwhile Sheng Shaoyou was confused and hoped he didn't do anything wrong. He didn't want to die.

Sheng Shaoyou was wondering about what just took place.

Why didn't Hua Yong fight back? He even apologized to him and thanked him.

Was it okay for him change the plot of the novel? He hoped it wouldn't affect them much.

He was so busy drowning in his thoughts that he didn't even hear Chen Pinming enter.

"I have prepared the necessary documents for the meeting with HS Group. Shen Wenlang's secretary informed me that he will arrive in 30 minutes."

"Meeting? What meeting?" Kipuka was shocked when he heard about a meeting between him and that scum alpha!

"Are you not feeling well? You have been acting strange and forgetful since your rut ended. Should I arrange an appointment with a doctor?"

"No need..it just slipped my mind"

"If you say so.This meeting is crucial for us because it will help us gain connections with HS Group.Shen Wenlang finally agreed to have this meeting here with us after Secretary Gao Tu convinced him. You were really looking forward to it."

Now he remembered,this must be the part where Shen Wenlang and Sheng Shaoyou have a fight over the drugs and it ends up with them making sworn enemies with each other. He hoped to avert it because he did not know how to fight.

"Ah-yes..now I remember. It's about the new drug they are developing right. I need to get my hands on it." Kipuka repeated the original Sheng Shaoyou's dialogue in the novel.

"Chen Pinming,can you do me a favor and make an appointment for me with an optician? My eyes are getting weaker."

"As you say,sir."

With that Chen Pinming left while Kipuka thought about what triggered the fight and how to avoid it. He wanted to be civil with Shen Wenlang.

He hoped Chen Pinming wouldn't suspect him because Kipuka had bad eyesight in real life and although Sheng Shaoyou had good vision,he would still get occasional headaches and blurry eyesight.

He wished he inherited Sheng Shaoyou's eyesight as well.

Sheng Shaoyou had prepared a plan-he would not push Shen Wenlang to hand him over the drugs or the company instead he would respect his choice and end the meeting early,he just had to avoid falling being rage baited by him.

He still act to act like Sheng Shaoyou though.

He went to the meeting room and looked at the files given by Chen Pinming and he had to admit that he was quite good at his job,so good that even an idiot like him who didn't understand business understood it.

As he went through the files,Chen Pinming knocked and entered, informing him of Shen Wenlang's arrival.

He stood up to greet Shen Wenlang but he beat him to it,"Ha,I made time for you yet you couldn't even come out to greet me?Is this how you treat guests at ShengFang Biotech?"

"I was looking through the files for the meeting,wjy don't you sit down first?"

Shen Wenlang was shocked at how Sheng Shaoyou was acting so civil.He scoffed internally thinking it was just an act.

"Chen Pinming,prepare tea and snacks for the two of them." Kipuka ordered.

"Alright." Chen Pinming left,leaving just the three of them alone.

"So you want me to hand you over this company that I have worked so hard for?You know I have already refused you so many times, yet you still haven't given up. I applaud you." Shen Wenlang smirked.

"That's because I need the drugs you are developing, I need it. If you wanted to,you could have refused yet you still came here,so.."

"Hmp,I can't give you the drugs..it hasn't been finished yet..and I am not the only one who has a say in this. Even if I wanted to I can't give you the company or the drug."

"Even if I give you a large sum of money."

"Nope."

Sighing, and pretending to be distressed, Kipuka replied,"Fine..I understand. Thank you for making time for us today."

Shen Wenlang,Gao Tu and even Chen Pinming who had entered with a tray with tea and snacks was shocked at how Sheng Shaoyou just accepted it and didn't even fight.

"What? Is it that unbelievable? Anyway have the tea and snacks before you leave."

"What trick do you have up your sleeve,Sheng Shaoyou? You always resort to violence with me. Is that tea poisoned or something."

"Even if I wanted to,I would poison only you not Secretary Gao."

"Hah,what's that supposed to mean?"

"I just meant that the tea is not poisoned, I wouldn't want someone innocent to die because of our fight."

With that Kipuka stood up to leave,glancing at Gao Tu who looked serious and Kipuka squealed internally at how handsome he was.

Shen Wenlang almost got fooled by his act," I heard about how you saved an omega the other day,didn't take you for a gentleman."

"Thanks..you should also learn to be gentle with those around you if you don't want the person you care for to leave you,right,Secretary Gao?" Kipuka didn't knew where he got all this courage from but he was getting annoyed by these accusations and he didn't forget how much Gao Tu had suffered because of his stupidity.

"Yes?" Gao Tu couldn't agree or disagree verbally but internally he also agreed with Sheng Shaoyou, he didn't know Sheng Shaoyou could be so..kind? He was totally different from how Shen Wenlang described him.

"Don't bring him into it"

Kipuka just rolled his eyes before turning to face him,"I was just speaking the truth. You shouldn't be so hostile."

He could feel those pheromones leaking from Shen Wenlang,he still wasn't used to it and started coughing, feeling suffocated.

"Stop.." He could feel his vision blurring and his legs giving up,before he could fall down, he was caught by someone,their body warm and comfortable,with that he passed out.

"Hey wake up! I didn't even release much pheromones" Shen Wenlang had been the one to catch Kipuka as he was the one who was near him.

  Was he worried for him? No way,right? It's just because he didn't want criminal charges, right.

Chen Pinming went out to call a doctor while Gao Tu looked at them worriedly, " I heard he had just finished his rut and maybe he was overwhelmed by your pheromones?His body might still be weak."

Shen Wenlang couldn't believe Gao Tu took Sheng Shaoyou's side!

"Don't joke,this guy who beds omegas like anything being weak after a rut? Don't make me laugh,go call his secretary..what's taking him so long."

Gao Tu was speechless,so he just shaked his head and left to look for Secretary Chen Pinming.

Shen Wenlang wanted to let the alpha lie in the floor but he was holding onto his suit,and buried his face there!

Seriously what was wrong with him? First he was eating sweets and now he was cuddling him?

He just pushed him away and laid him down,ignoring the way his heart skipped a beat.

'The S-class alpha looked alright when his mouth was shut',He concluded.

Meanwhile Hua Yong was thinking about their encounter, wondering about the infamous heir of ShengFang Biotech.

He still remembers the day he met him,he thought he might have liked him but he didn't know about human emotions much so he just brushed it off.

He wanted to check this Sheng Shaoyou himself and surprisingly, he still hadn't changed. He has helped him twice.

He wanted to know more about him.

When Kipuka woke up,he was laying in the private resting room of the office,with Cheng Pinming looking at him worriedly.

"What happened? Wasn't I in the meeting room?"

"You fainted due to the excessive pheromones released by Shen Wenlang,the doctor said everything is okay but you should rest for a few days to recover."

"That Shen Wenlang,he is still a scum",he whispered under his bed.

"I am sure he had fun watching me faint..that bastard. He didn't even stay to apologize to me!" Kipuka said in fury.

"He was the one who caught you when you fainted..he even carried you to the resting room and waited for the doctor to arrive. He left after the doctor confirmed that is was just due to excessive pheromones because your body wasn't used to it.He was saying he will pay the doctor but I send him away. These flowers and fruit basket have been send from HS Group as an apology as well."

"Hmp! I am sure that it was Gao Tu's idea.Shen Wenlang doesn't care about others to send them these."

"You seem to be quite fond of the secretary. You are quite gentle towards him."

"I treat people according to their personality..it's not my fault Shen Wenlang is such an ass,enough about him.Let's stay away from him as much as possible. We should look for other ways to get the drugs."

"As you say,sir. Also, I have scheduled an appointment for you with an optician tomorrow. I will come to pick you up."

"Okay..now I am feeling fatigued..bring me desserts."

"Desserts? Okay,I will be right back.",Chen Pinming left confused thinking, "He seems to have changed..I hope he starts caring for himself more.."

Kipuka was tired of wearing suits so he chose to wear a casual outfit,Sheng Shaoyou would never but who cares?

Chen Pinming had came to pick him up and had dropped him off at the clinic.

He was waiting outside for him to finish.

While he waited for his name to be called,he saw a familiar face,wasn't that Gao Tu?

He looked so good even in a casual outfit.He couldn't believe that Shen Wenlang still hadn't asked him out yet!

He wanted to approach him but he knew that was out of character for him so he just looked at him,and Gao Tu glanced his way and the eye contact made his heart skip a beat.

He was embarrassed and shyly looked down.

Gao Tu didn't know what happened but his heart squeezed and his legs moved on their own towards Sheng Shaoyou.

Before, he was not familiar with him and had mainly heard bad thing about him like he was a playboy blah blah blah but he was also heavily praised for being a excellent at his job.

Gao Tu didn't pay him much mind, he was mainly focused on Shen Wenlang but recently,after he saw him stuffing his mouth full at the party and he heard about him saving Hua Yong, his perception of him changed, he felt a bit different than the Sheng Shaoyou before too! 

He wasn't affected by Shen Wenlang picking on him and neither did he physically retaliate and truth be told as much as he loved Shen Wenlang,he definitely needed to be disciplined sometimes.

He couldn't stop his smile after remember how Sheng Shaoyou shut Wenlang up and kind of supported him last time.

He was still worried about him after he fainted due to the pheromones.

When he reached him,he immediately asked,"Mr.Sheng,I didn't expect to meet you here. How are doing now? Have you fully recovered yet? I am so sorry for Mr.Shen's recklessness,I should have stopped him as his secretary."

"Don't worry too much about it. I was just a bit weak after my rut. I am as fit as a horse now. It's nice to meet you here..why don't you sit down for a while?"

Gao Tu just sighed in relief and nodded at him before sitting down beside him,he didn't know if he was mistaken but Sheng Shaoyou seemed more gentle and open now.

'OMG! GAO TU IS SITTING BESIDE ME..HE IS SO CUTE..GOSH I WISH I COULD TELL HIM THAT I LIKE HIS CHARACTER A LOT! AGRHH',Kipuka was in a dilemma!

"Ahem..are you here for an eye checkup?"

"That's right and I also thought that my glasses were straining my eyes too much so I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong..what about you?"

"Nowadays I can't see far objects properly and my eyes hurt a lot so I wanted to get them checked and get glasses.." Truth be told,Kipuka had bad eyesight in real life too and couldn't see without his glasses!

"Ohh..hopefully everything will be fine."

"Yeah,I hope so too."

"Mr.Sheng Shaoyou,it's your turn now",a nurse called out.

"Well then,I will be taking my leave now,please rest properly." Gao Tu stood up and bowed.

"Please don't be too formal with me,it's okay. You should rest too,it must be tiring keeps up with that Shen Wenlang. Don't hesitate to call him out okay? Don't stress too much,he doesn't have the right to push you around. As a matter of fact,I would prefer you over him anyday.I know you work hard a lot!"

"Haha..okay..goodbye.Take care." Gao Tu chuckled while Sheng Shaoyou walked away before turning around, there was a warmth in his chest that he hadn't felt for a long time.

It's the feeling you get when someone cares for you and you don't have to be the one caring for everyone .

It felt nice to know atleast someone preferred him,whether it was just courtesy or not.

He was shocked that a person he had known for less than a week cared and understood him more than someone he known for more than ten years.

He felt seen when Sheng Shaoyou understood that it wasn't easy handling Shen Wenlang.

Sheng Shaoyou wasn't that bad of a person afterall.

Sheng Shaoyou saw him.

Kipuka got his glasses and finally he could see better but the glasses made him look weird..it didn't go well with suits.

How did Gao Tu manage to look good in it?

He wondered what happened to Hua Yong,if he was not wrong then Hua Yong still hadn't caught feeling for Gao Tu yet.

Should he help them? Since Hua Yong,Gao Tu and Shen Wenlang will be mate later on.

He didn't want Gao Tu to suffer like in the novel.

He also had to find a way to return to his world,he missed his life there and he knows that this novel will turn gruesome soon and Sheng Shaoyou will be in danger due to his half brother.

He can't risk it.
