Chapter Text

The sun began to slowly rise, shining on Dan Heng's face, causing him to awaken from his sleep. Rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Dan Heng caught the slight smell of Eggs and steak.

As he got out of his bed he let out a groan while stretching his stiff muscles, Dan Heng began walking to the kitchen where he found his older brother Terravox, his friends and family call him Terrae for short.

"Good morning Dan Heng, I’m assuming you slept well.?"

Terrae walked over to give a head pat to his younger brother, Dan Heng let out a long sigh and fixed his hair. 

"Not really, I was up all night experimenting with music again."

 said Dan Heng, he was very interested in music so he was searching up everything about how to make music out of samples.

Terrae pulled out one of the chairs at the kitchen table for his brother to sit at while he prepares breakfast.

"I told you, If you ever need help I'm just a few steps away in the room next to you, I know a lot about music. I used to be great at drumming." he said walking back to the stove.

Dan Heng yawned and sat down "I'm aware brother, I appreciate your concern."

The two of them ate their favorite dish while chatting about what they would do for the day, until they heard a knock at their door. 

"I'll get it,"

said Dan Heng, he stood up from his chair and walked to the door. As he opened the front door he looked and saw no one was around but before closing the door he noticed two envelopes sitting on the ground. Once he picked up the mail he closed and locked the door reading what was on the papers,

"Brother, you have a letter."

Dan Heng said, the older brother finished washing his plate and the leftover dishes then began walking over to Dan Heng.

 looking up from the paper he noticed his brother had a cake pop hanging from the side of his mouth,

"Hey, I thought I told you to save the last one for me." He said with a disappointed frown on his face,

"ah, I apologize brother, I was going to head out to the market after breakfast to  buy some more." Terrae said scratching his head after that, Dan Heng and Terrae began opening and reading the letters. 

"Dear Mr. Terravox, I, Lycurgus request that you and your youngest brother Dan Heng attend our University with all expenses covered by us, as well as tickets to come to Amphoreus. If you accept please come as soon as you possibly can, if not I bid you both farewell."    ~Sincerely, Principal Lycurgus.

Terrae and Dan Heng looked at each other with confusion running through their minds, who would have thought that a university would personally invite them to stay in their dorms with free food and no cost whatsoever.

“There has to be a catch right?, there is no way that..”  Before Dan Heng finished his sentence Terrae opened the other envelope, within it was two plane tickets to Amphoreus.

“I guess the only way to find out is to see it for ourselves.” Said Terrae, “start packing, we should get there soon so we can get settled in and look around the place before the week starts.”

 “Hmm..” Dan Heng hummed, still skeptical about the events that occurred,  then went to start packing belongings.

Later that evening, the two brothers boarded the plane to Amphoreus, concerned due to never being away from Xianzhou.

“Hey, it'll be ok, we're gonna be together the whole way.” Said terrae  while comforting his little brother.

             4 Hours later

After arriving Terrae gently shook Dan Heng until he was awake,

“Wake up Danny, we're here.”

Dan Heng opened his eyes to the sight of other passengers exiting the plane, he blinked a few times to get rid of his blurry vision then got up and packed his laptop. 

While exiting the plane, Dan Heng pulled out his phone to search for the location of this university they were going to be staying at. 

“It seems like we aren't very far away, just a few blocks away, we can walk so we can stretch our legs after being cooped up.”

said Dan Heng while yawning, still half asleep. 

“Sounds good to me,” Terrae sighed with relief, "it's so nice to finally be off of that plane, shall we head out now?. 

Dan Heng shook his head in agreement then they went on their way to the university.

An hour later they arrived at their destination,

“This place is huge, it'll take forever to explore it..” 

Dan Heng put his hand on his forehead and sighed. Arriving at the reception, they looked around and saw a red haired woman,

“Excuse me ma’am, me and my brother are here for our key to our dorm. Do you know where we can go to get it.?” 

The woman at the desk smiled and began typing on her keyboard, 

“Of course. May I have your names?” Said the woman.

“My name is Terravox,” Terrae pulled Dan Heng in and ruffled his hair, “and this is my brother Dan Heng.”

 the young woman chuckled at the sight of the two boys,

“ah yes, here they are, take these keycards, one for each of you try not to lose them, it'll cost ya.”

She said while giving a warm smile. The boys grabbed their key cards before leaving, Terrae turned around,

 “Thanks for the help Mrs..?”  The red haired woman looked up from her screen,

 “You can call me Mrs. Himeko, I’ll be here if you boys ever need assistance.”

 The two brothers make their way to the room they’ll be staying in until they hear some commotion coming from the dorm across from them. 

“Caelus, I told you that cake was for Sunday, you fat ass!” 

The boys looked at each other confused, they start unlocking the door to their room but are startled by a loud slap sound and the sound of a man screaming. A young woman comes out with a furious look on her face stomping down the hall.

 “Stelle! Wait, I'm sorry I forgot you know my memory is fuzzy!... ughh never mind. Oh, uh hi, sorry you guys had to see that..”

The young man rubbed his cheek groaning in pain from whatever occurred inside. 

 “I’m Caelus, I don't think I've seen you guys around. Are you new?”

Terrae straightened his posture and put his arm around Dan Heng, 

‘Yes I'm Terravox, but you can call me terrae. And this is my brother Dan Heng. we just transferred from xianzhou.”  Caelus looked at them with a surprised look on his face.

“Oh I've heard of that place, its super fantasy”

He extends out his hand to the two men hoping they would become friends,

“If you ever need help I'm just across from you gu- AHH!” 

before he could finish his sentence a shoe flies and hits him in the head causing him to fall over. 

The brothers looked to where the shoe came from, eyes widened and stared at the woman who they saw storm down the hall a few minutes ago. 

“That's payback you asshole! Get inside your helping me make another one, and if you so much as lick the frosting i will call firefly and have her beat your fucki-  Oh hello!”

 The girl shifted her mood in the blink of an eye looking towards the two standing a few feet away from her, "I'm Stelle nice to meet you both.” Immediately she went back to being angry, she grabbed the gray haired man by his ear and dragged him inside slamming the door shut.

They both shook their heads, taking in what just occurred they walked into their room to unpack their bags. The next day the two siblings decided since it was Sunday they had the whole day to explore the property seeing where all their classes were. 

As they opening the door they noticed a man standing there patiently.

"Greetings, I am lygus. I'm so glad you boys decided to come, shall I show you around.?"

Chapter Text

“Shall I show you around.?" 

The two brothers bow down to show respect to the owner of the university. 

“Lead the way Mr.Lygus,” said Terrae, Lygus had a look of approval on his face not being used to being praised. 

“You boys sure know how to leave a good impression.” he chuckled lightly, “After you,” Lygus said. Then they were on their way to explore. After arriving at the university lygus stopped, “is there a specific place you boys want to see first.?”

 The two looked at each other. “Go on brother,” said the older brother, patting his little brother's back with a warm smile. 

“Thank you Terrae. Yes Mr. Lygus, I am very interested in your music class.” said Dan Heng with his hand on his chest.

 “Ah, Mrs. Kafka will be delighted to have you.”  as they continue down the hallway they're stopped by a group of girls all having pink hair, 

"Principal Lygus!,” 

a young girl with blue eyes and a cheery smile said while running towards the three men, along with the other girls walking just behind her. The three turn around to see who was behind them, 

“Miss March, Castorice, Hyacine and Evernight, it's a pleasure to see you young ladies." As the girls approached, March noticed the two boys standing next to the principal. 

“You two must be new, I’m March. These are my friends Castorice, Hyacine and my twin sister Evernight!.” She hugged her sister tightly, Evernight locked eyes with Terrae and stared into his eyes with a slight smile on her face. March gently poked her sister's face, 

“hey don't scare them on their first day,” she said with a frown, “sorry about her she's just shy hehe.” 

 Terrae gave Evernight a look of suspicion with sweat dripping down his face. The brothers both put their hands on their chests, greeting the women, Terrae still on high alert from the girl with dark red eyes still staring at him. 

“Greetings, I am Terravox and this is my little brother Dan Heng. We recently moved here from Xianzhou.” 

March’s eyes lit up when he mentioned Xianzhou, she was obsessed with its clothing and how the scenery looked.

“Oh my gosh. I love that place. The clothes are super nice!  Oh! I didnt realize your outfits look amazing, wait let me get my camera!.” The girl quickly opened her book bag and pulled out  a camera while squealing with excitement. 

“Ok you two, get closer!.” The brothers chuckled, then put their arms around each other and smiled. After taking a few pictures with the boys in different poses, March packed her camera back up. 

“Thank you both, I'll cherish these forever!.” she smiled, jumping up and down near the rest of the girls. Lygus chuckled lightly, he was happy that the boys are having a good experience so far. but the fun was interrupted by the girl in black,

 “ahem, Sorry to cut things short, I have to go somewhere March. I'll see you back in the room, ok?” Evernight gives her sister a hug and starts walking away from the group, before turning the corner she glances and smirks at Terrae causing his body to shiver in discomfort. 

“We’ll see you guys around, If you ever need help we’d be happy to help.” says Hyacine while holding a fluffy unicorn plush. 

The group dispersed with the men heading to the music room  to greet Kafka. Lygus knocks gently on the music teachers door, 

“Good evening Mrs. Kafka, I have someone I would like you to meet,”  The purple haired woman with beautiful eyes turned around holding a violin.

 “Greetings Principal, who might we have here.?” She gives Dan Heng a bright smile, setting the violin gently on her desk. 

“Hello Ma’am, I am Dan Heng. I was hoping to register as one of your students if it's not too late.” He said with a determined look on his face. The woman was surprised by the young man's serious look.

 “You're in luck, I happen to have a few spots open on the roster.”  She cups her hands together with excitement, “I’ll put you down as one of my students before Tuesday. Is that okay with you.?”  

Dan Heng bows deeply to show his gratitude. “Of course, Thank you very much. If you don't mind I would like to stay behind and talk about some things I've been stuck on, only if you aren't busy.” 

Kafka was stunned by his request. “Of course, I'd be delighted to have you here.” 

Terrae was happy that his little brother was pursuing his passion of being a music artist.

“I’ll head on and explore with Mr. Lygus, you have fun alright? I want to know all the details when you return to the dorm.” He gives his brother a long hug before walking away with Lygus.

“Is there anywhere you would like to see Mr. Terravox?.” Lygus said, closing the door to the music room.

Terrae put his hand on his chin thinking where he wanted to go next. “I would like to see your gym please,” Lygus led the way to where the gym was until a beep came from his phone,

“I apologize Mr. Terravox, but I’m urgently needed. The gym is through those  two doors over there. Once again I apologize.” Lyugus bowed and quickly rushed to where he was needed.

 On his way, Terrae accidentally bumped into a very fit young man with blonde hair 

“Hey, watch where your going.” The man said with a look of disapproval. 

Terravox fixed his shirt and bowed down slightly towards the man. “I apologize I was spacing out, that is my fault.” The man got closer to Terravox looking at him in his eyes 

“Yea you better be sorry or I outta-” he was briefly interrupted by a white haired man with bright blue eyes punching his shoulder.

“Oh shut up Mydei we both know you wont do anything, I’m sorry about him he's just a little upset that i beat his record on incline curls.” the boy said, chuckling and giving Terravox  a hand shake. 

“I’m Phainon, this is my friend Mydei, he's a bit of a meat head. He won't bite though. I’m the captain of the soccer team, Mydei here is the gym teacher's aid and co-captain on the soccer team.”

Terrae smiles and shakes Phainon's hand, “I’m Terravox, but you may call me Terrae. And it's ok it was my insolence that caused the incident.” 

“Nah, your fine friend. He's just a big softy, especially around his girlfriend.” 

“Shut it Blueberry, or I’ll-” the jock was interrupted by A young woman's voice calling to him from behind

“Mydei sweet heart, what did I tell you about being mean to Phainon?.” Mydei went from being an angry lion, into an innocent puppy within seconds of seeing his girlfriend.

Phainon leaned in close towards Terrae.  “Watch this, it's hilarious.” he whispered.

“Cas! My darling, what are you doing here, my little butterfly?” Mydei said while still being shocked to see her. He puts his hands around her waist and pulls her in for a hug.

“The girls were busy, so I went to look for you because you weren't answering your phone.” She said with a slight frown while playfully hitting his chest. 

Mydei kissed her forehead and began flipping off Phainon who was laughing at him.

“I’m sorry my love. I was held up and my phone was in my locker, I thought you would be out longer.” 

“It is ok babe, are you acting tough in front of Terravox?” She said looking at her lover with a concerned look.

“Of course not! I  was just showing him some new bicep workouts I've been trying, right new guy?” she turns around still looking slightly upset, observing Terrae.

“Yes he was helping me become a better man, you have a very good boyfriend.” Terravox lied, but maybe it would get him on Mydeis good side.

“Awww. You're so nice. I'm proud of you.” She kissed him and they started walking away, but before Mydei turned around and gave Terrae a thumbs up, Phainon received another middle finger.

“Told you, It’s priceless seeing him around his woman haha.” Phainon laughed, patting Terravox on the back gently.

“Where ya headed?.” He said walking slowly down the hall with his new friend.

“I’m going to see the fitness coach, I'm interested in weight training.”

“Oho, another muscle head. Mydei will like you. C’mon I’ll take you to meet coach blade.”

The two make their way in the gym room where they see women playing volleyball, walking into the room filled with gym equipment for muscle growth. They notice a tall man cleaning the equipment. 

“Hey coach,I’ve got fresh meat for ya.” Phainon says, gently pushing Terravox over to the coach. The man gets up, looking up and down Terravox nodding.

“here for weight training hm?.Let me see what you got, kid.” Terrae looks in confusion to what the man is talking about, 

“He means how much you can lift.” Phainon says, 

Terrae walks over to the equipment and grabs two 90 pound dumbbells and curls them like they weigh nothing. The two men look at each other impressed by the young man's ability. Terravox then puts the dumbbells back on the rack and picks up four plates, each weighing 50 pounds. He puts the plates on one side of the barbell and locks them in so they don't fall off, then grabs another four plates to balance out the weight. With a total of 400 pounds now on the barbell, Terravox begins to lay down on the bench, picking up the barbell with only a slight bit of struggle due to it being twice his size. He then starts benchpressing the barbell. He managed to do 1 set of 20 reps causing the two men beside him to have their eyebrows raised.

“Holy shit, he's like a damn super hero.” Phainon shouts while helping Terravox put the barbell on the J-hooks attached to the power rack.

“You're a pretty strong kid. You'll fit in well, What size clothes do you wear.?” Blade says, punching Terravox in the bicep gently.

After getting his gym clothes, Terrae and Phainon  make their way out of the gymnasium. 

“Guess who,” a girl with pink hair says, covering Phainon's eyes giggling.

“Hm, surely can't be my amazing girlfriend.” Phainon says grabbing the girls hands and holding them while turning around.

“Hehe. you sure are a sweetheart Phainon.” the girl kisses her boyfriend and hugs him,

“Terrae, this is my girlfriend Cyrene. Cyrene this is Terravox, he just moved here not too long ago.”  Phainon introduces one another, holding his girlfriend on his back.

“Hiya. I’m Cyrene, I'm the captain of the volleyball team. It's nice to meet you.” She said, waving her hand in a friendly gesture.

“Greetings. I am Terravox, although you may call me Terrae. Your boyfriend has been a big help towards me so far, I’m lucky to have his assistance.” Terravox expresses his gratitude towards phainon making Cyrene hug her lover tightly.

“Look at you, still being kind as always.” she says, after he set his girlfriend down, he took out his phone. 

“Here, I can give you my number. If you ever need something don't hesitate to call me!”

Terrae took out his phone with a smile of enjoyment and exchanged contact information. 

After he left the gym he pulled out his phone to text his little brother until he heard some commotion.

“Listen freak, I’m the only one in this entire university who’s asked out, and you reject me? Do you know who I even am!?” Terravox puts his phone away and peeks around the corner just enough to see, but not be seen. He noticed three men and a girl, the same girl who gave him chills a few hours ago.

“Say something you bitch! Are you that dense?” The man says, pushing her into the wall and picking her up by her shirt.

“Why are you wasting your time on this psycho chick anyway?, you can pull way hotter girls than her and normal, She gives me the creeps” says the other bully. The man throws her on the floor, turning his attention to his friend.

“Have you seen her rack? It's huge, imagine a tit job with those!” The man says practically drooling. He cups her breasts, she punches him in the face immediately causing his nose to bleed.

“You fucking slut! You'll pay for that!” The man screams, grabbing her shirt and ready to strike Evernight with his fist, Terravox runs around the corner and reacts immediately blocking the punch with his hand.

“Real men never put their hands on a woman, nor do they sexually harass one.”

Terrae says, having a look of disgust, Evernight looks up to see Terravox protecting her.

“Who the fuck do you think you are! And She hit me firs-”

“You groped her without consent, she acted in self defense” Terrae interrupted. The man lost his composure and punched Terrae in the stomach, although he wasn't affected.

“What the hell!?” he says with a confused look on his face. Terravox looked at the man with a stone cold look, he punched the man in the gut causing him to fall on the floor groaning in pain.

“Gah. you bastard! What the hell are you two doing! kill this mother fucker!”

The two men attack Terrae simultaneously with knives, He subdued one with a chop to the throat and the other with a kick to the knee, causing both men to be on the ground like their leader.

“What in the world is going on here!.” Lygus comes running down the hallway at the sight of the brawl, visibly disappointed, “My office all of you, now!”

After waiting a few minutes the bullies come out of the office still groaning in pain.

“Evernight, Terravox you may enter now” Lygus said. the two enter, closing the door behind them.

“As you know, violence is against the rules in this university.” said the angry principal, Terravox looked down at his feet nervous of what's to come 

“I apologize, Principal.” Said Terrae, Lygus looks at him and sighs.

“I’m sorry I have to do this, but you are no longer wel-” 

“He saved my life, sir.” Evernight said “if not for him I… I don't want to imagine what would've happened if he wasn't there.”

Lygus looks at Terrae, “is this all true.” Terravox looks Lygus in his eyes

“Yes.. it is true, after finishing my enrollment with Coach Blade, I was walking around and overheard someone talking about doing sexual things with Evernight. After that he was going to hit her, so I blocked his attack then he striked me so I retaliated in self defense. As for the other men, they also initiated the fight first.” Terrae said, with his hand on his chest.

“I understand I broke the rules. I apologize for that, all I ask is if you take care of Dan Heng, I have never seen him this happy.” Terrae stood up from his chair. “I'll start packing my things.”

Lygus hums, “since you protected Miss Evernight from sexual harassment, and you acted out of self defense. I won't ban you from the campus, although you will be unable to come to the University for five days.”

Terrae bows, deeply thankful for his decision. “Thank you, It won’t happen again.”

“As for Skott and his other troublemakers, they will be banned from this university. You may take your leave now.”

After leaving, Terrae turned towards Evernight. “Are you ok Evernight?” He says with concern, “thank you for telling him the truth, I’m forever in your debt.” he gets on one knee and bows slightly. Evernight however like the previous encounter she stared into his eyes.

“I should be thanking you, you're the one who stopped them from doing unspeakable things to me.” She said, putting her finger on his chin.  “My Hero, just like old times” she chuckled.  

“Uh. I-its no problem at all. I have to get going, my brother awaits my arrival in my dorm” 

Terrae walks away from the ominous girl while feeling a chill run up his spine, as he turns around for a split second he sees her standing there still staring at him.

 Minutes later he went into the restroom to wash his hands still having a blood stain on his knuckles. He hears the door open, assuming it's just another male student or teacher he continues washing his hand. He suddenly hears the door lock and shifts his attention to the door where he sees Evernight walking towards him, pushing him into a wall causing him to fall down. She covers his mouth with her hand and sits on his lap with a crazed smile on her face.

“Ah~ I can't wait anymore!” She smells his body then kisses his neck, “I’ve been looking everywhere to find you my love.”

Terravox was shaking uncontrollably, frightened by what he was experiencing. He doesn't understand why she was acting this way, he tried moving but as he tried she started grinding on him slowly. Evernight took her hand away from his mouth for a brief moment to let him speak,

“I-I have no idea what you're talking about. You must have the wrong person, we met just a few hours ago!”

Evernight was stunned by his reaction. “Maybe this will help you remember,” she presses her lips into his, slipping in her tongue. He pulled back to catch his breathe,

“Please stop this, I do not know who you are.” 

She held his hands with a small frown, “You don't remember me,? We were best friends 8 years ago. I thought I lost you after…” she paused for a minute, shedding a tear. “Oh, I see.” she chuckled, although he can sense sadness from her.

“I-I'm sorry.” She got off of Terrae, after she gave him a hug then started walking away with her head down. He heard faint sniffling coming from her. He knew she was crying but from what, he wondered.

Terravox was exhausted, not because of the fight but what he experienced a little while ago. As he was opening his door he noticed March and her sister Evernight walking down the hall he quickly opened and shut the door to make sure she didn't notice him, He sighed with relief.

“I’m home brother,” he said, wondering if his brother was home. “Dan Heng?”

The little brother took his headphones off, “Welcome back, how was your day?” he said

Terravox flopped onto his bed, “It was… eventful, I got suspended for a week.” 

Dan Heng looked at him flabbergasted. “What the hell did you do?” he asked 

“A girl was being sexually harassed, I beat the guys who did it. Long story, I'll tell you tomorrow. I need to rest for the night.” Teravox pulled the covers over his head and went to bed.

After dosing off, He finds himself on a children's playground,  turning his head swiftly he sees a girl being chased by three boys.

“Haha, look at her, she's so weird looking. Her eyes aren't normal, she's a freak!” one boy says as he shoves her on the ground. Terravox runs over and yells at the boys.

“Hey, stop that now!... What the-” as he touched the boy who shoved the girl he noticed his hand going through the little boy, confused he stood back observing what was going on.

“My mommy and sister say I’m the most beautiful girl in the world. you guys are just jealous, hmph.” the girl says, trying not to cry from the scrape on her knee.

“Leave her alone!” a voice came from behind, Terravox turned around and his eyes widened. As the boy walks over, he stands in front of the little girl shielding her from harm's way.

“I won't let you hurt her!” says the boy, Terrae noticed he resembles him somewhat but paid no mind to it.

“Aw you called your little boyfriend to save you. We were going to lunch anyway. C'mon guys.” The three boys walk away, the little hero picks up the little girl.

“Are you okay Evernight?,” he says. Terravox was confused about what was happening, is this a dream?. The little girl hugs the boy and cries onto him. 

“Thank you, I was so scared,” the little girl trembles. “Is…is it true?” she asks looking up at the boy.

“Is what true?” He said with a confused look. 

“Is it true that I'm ugly and I'm not normal because of my eyes?” The girl wondered while looking at the ground. 

The little boy grabs her hands, “Of course not, Your eyes are beautiful! Those guys are just stupid and jealous.” he says, she giggles and wipes her tears. 

“Thank you, I'm so glad to have a friend like you,”

The sun was starting to go down, the two children started packing up but the boy felt a tug on his shirt, “Can I ask something?” the little girl asks 

“Of course, ask me anything.” he says, the girl fidgets with her jellyfish stuffed toy,

“Do you think we’ll be girlfriend and boyfriend when we're older?” she asks. The little boy was hesitant at first.

“I hope we do,” he said with a smile

she frowned, “Promise me! Promise we'll be together forever..” 

he laughed then held her hands. “Okay, okay. I, Terrav-”

Terrae immediately shot up from his bed covered in sweat, “what the hell kind of dream was that, he looked… just like me,” he says to himself.

A week passes by, he's finally allowed to go to the university after his suspension. He wakes up sweating a lot, feeling his forehead. He notices it's burning up but he can't miss school anymore then he already did.

He makes his way to the gym with his new clothes. 

“Hey hey, Terrae is in the house.” Phainon says as he gives Terravox a shoulder punch.

“Hey,” Mydei says looking at Terravox, he then proceeds to give him a fist bump. “Thanks for lying to my girl about uh… me picking on you, you could've just told her the truth but you didn't." Terrae was shocked but extended his first to meet Mydeis.

“Oh uh it's.. no problem at all.” Terravox says scratching his head.

“I heard what happened man, I’m glad Skott is finally out of here he was annoying, his father owns a huge company and i didn’t wanna get sued for beating his ass without a proper reason.” Mydei says while changing into his basketball shorts.

“I only did what was right, no woman should ever go through something like that.” Terravox explains, Blade then comes into the changing room.

“Alright boys, we’re finally going to crush coach Feixiao and her girls, today we're playing volleyball.”

“HELL YEA” the men all scream, all but Terravox who chuckled. 

The class of boys all run outside where they see the girls. The two coaches approach each other with a group of boys behind blade and girls behind Feixiao.

“Blade,” she says smiling with a look of determination

“Feixiao,” he says with a smirk 

“You’ll still love me if I beat you right?” says Phainon, holding his girlfriend's waist.

“Hehe, If you do I’ll give you a prize~” Cyrene says with a smirk, she then walks back to the group of girls.

“YEAAAAH!” The boys scream to hype up Phainon, he was embarrassed though.

“Be safe ok Mydei, I’ll be watching you” says Castorice. 

“I will, my butterfly.” Mydei chuckles, kissing his girlfriends cheek. 

The group of girls and boys get in position waiting for the confirmation from the teachers 

Terravox notices Evernight, holding an umbrella next to her twin sister who is taking pictures. He tries to shake it off, but feels his heart pounding.

“May the best team win!” They both say, With that the boys and girls start their game.

A few minutes later, the score being a tie between both teams with only 1 more score to win it all..

“We can win this Terravox!” says Mydei, but Terravox had ringing in his ears. All of a sudden, Terravox felt nauseous and had cloudy vision. He was struggling to stand up until Terravox dropped the ball, he tried walking away before collapsing and falling to the ground. Phainon, Mydei and the two coaches run over to him. Evernight drops her umbrella and rushes over to Terravox, before passing out Terravox sees a little girl with red eyes and a small jellyfish plush. 

                                      “Promise me we’ll be together forever,” 

Chapter Text

 A week before the incident .

Dan Heng sat down with Kafka, taking his laptop out. She walks over to face his screen, “so what’s it you need help with?” she said with a smile. 

He launches the software showing her the music he's been working on for quite awhile, he was stuck on what to do and hoping she would be able to critique his work. “I’m wondering if there's anything I can improve on with this song, I feel like there's something missing..”

 Dan Heng plays the song for the woman, after it finishes he closes his laptop. “So, what do you think.? Is there anything I am able to improve on?” Dan Heng asked with concern. 

Kafka put her man on her chin, “it sounds beautiful,  the only thing that's missing is some vocals.” she said. 

Dan Heng face palmed, “of course, why didn't I think of that. The only issue is… who?” he said, giving the music teacher a look of confusion. 

She puts her hand on the young man's shoulder, “it's up to you to find someone who's willing to sing.” said Kafka walking back to her desk typing onto her laptop, “You're very talented and I’m sure you can do it.” she follows up, bearing a heart warming smile.

Dan Heng took a light bow, “thank you for your assistance, I will see you on Tuesday." He expressed his gratitude.

Dan Heng took his leave, sprinting through the hallway he bumps into a familiar girl. “Ouch!...”

The pink haired girl yells, rubbing her head. Dan Heng helps her up immediately, very embarrassed. “I-I am so sorry March, I was in a hurry I should've slowed down. He says, still holding her hand, slightly flustered.

“It’s ok, I wasn't looking either so it's also my fault.” March says, letting go of his hand. “What's got you in such a hurry.? She follows up. 

He looks at her, slightly confused. “Oh I uh- I’m just trying to get back to my dorm is all” he says scratching his head. 

She gets closer to him examining his expression, “hmm, Is there something on your mind? I wouldn't mind listening if you'd like to talk about your worries.”

 He looks at her shocked, he folded under the pressure letting in on his burden. “I’m in need of a person to sing for one of my songs, but cannot think of who since I don't have any friends here yet.” he says, sighing in disappointment. 

“You make music? Can I listen to it?” She says with excitement, He looks away for a brief moment, he takes out his laptop with nervous intent. 

“It's my first song so… please don't say anything too harsh.” he says, still worried she wouldn't like it and would judge it. 

After listening to it, he notices her eyes watering. 

“What’s wrong, is it that bad?” he says out loud, wiping her face with the sleeve of his hoodie. 

March shakes her head, “no no! It's beautiful, it sounds very emotional. I can see why you're looking for someone to sing.” She chuckles, “my sister is a great singer, although she only sings around me. I try to encourage her to sing more but she's super shy.” 

Dan Heng felt relieved hearing that March approved of his work, she also might even have a solution to his problem. “Are you sure? I don’t wanna be a burden towards her.” he says, 

he noticed March rolls her eyes at his skeptical response. “She’ll be fine, she needs friends anyway.” March puts her hand on her chin, “hmm, wanna head back to my dorm? She should be back soon, I wanna listen to more of your music!”

As they entered, March unlocked the door. She was a little nervous having a boy she had just met enter her and her sister's dorm, though she knew he wouldn't do anything to make her feel unsafe. “After you.” he says, after entering they sit down on her couch. 

“Do you want anything to drink? I have some juice and water. The strawberry milk is off limits Evernight will kill me.” March chuckles nervously. 

“I’m ok, thank you for the offer.’ Dan Heng says,

She sits next to him with her legs crossed. “Go on, show me the rest of what you've been making.” She says eagerly, Dan Heng pulls out his laptop once again. He was less anxious than before, knowing she appreciated his music he was at ease.

After they finished listening to his song, they heard the front door open. “Evernight! There you are, we've been waiting for you.” March ran over to her sister to give her a hug, she guided her to where Dan Heng was sitting. “You already know Dan Heng, he's Terrae's little brother. We met them earlier, remember?” 

Evernight had a look of discomfort, “Yea… I remember them.” 

March examined her sister, curious why she is feeling sad "what's wrong? You know we're twins, you can't keep anything from me.” She said with a frown,  Evernight patted her sister's head. “I’m ok, I just… ran into an old friend but they seemed to have forgotten our friendship.”

Dan Heng looked at them with the corner of his eyes, peaking interest into their conversation..

March was saddened by her sister's depressing mood, she sat Evernight down on the couch to talk to Dan Heng about his situation. “Hopefully we can cheer you up, We have a proposal for you.” March nudges Dan Heng, encouraging him to ask his question. 

“Miss Evernight I was hoping you would be the singer for a song of mine.” Evernight was shocked by his request. 

“I-I don't know how to sing, I'm sorry.” She said getting up from the couch, March stepped in front of her, forcing her to sit back down. 

“You liar! You always sing to me, c’mon sis please he really needs help.” March gives her sister a look of desperation, Evernight sighed.

 “Fine…but it's been so long I don't think I'll be as good.” Evernight says with a nervous look, “So, where should we start?”

 March looks at Dan Heng ready to follow his lead. “You should listen to it, then try and think of lyrics based off of the music.” he says, loading the song up on his laptop. 

“Well, what do you think? sounds beautiful right?” March says looking at her sister, Evernight wipes a tear from her eye. “Y-yea it's great, I just… don't know what to sing about.” She says with a doubt in her mind. 

March puts her hands on her sister's shoulders. “Hey, I believe in you. You always think about me when you sing, so maybe think about someone else you love.” She says hugging her sister. 

Dan Heng steps forward looking into Evernight's eyes. “Go with your heart, that's how I made this song..” He says hoping it would ease her mind, “I must head back to my dorm now, my brother must be worried sick about me. Thank you for your help, both of you.” Dan Heng says with a bright smile. 

“Wait! I'll walk you out.” March runs to the door,

“thank you for helping my sister relax, she's always on edge and she's been in a bad mental state ever since she lost her best friend 3 years ago. I wasn't around her a lot because I was in an academy. I try to be a good sister to her but sometimes I feel like she dislikes me.” March wraps her arms around Dan Heng, “Dan Heng, do you think I’m a bad sister…”

 Dan Heng was flustered but embraced her warmth trying to comfort her. “No, you're not. She's still recovering. It takes a long time for someone to heal after losing a loved one. The only thing you can do is be there in any way possible." She hugs him tighter before letting go, 

“Thank you, you're always there when I need someone to talk to. you should get back to your brother, it's getting pretty late.” 

“You're right,  goodnight March.” Dan Heng returns a smile.

He quickly runs back to his dorm, unlocking it and notices the lights are off. “Brother, I'm home.” He puts his bag down walking through the room seeing if his older brother made it back.

“Guess he's still exploring” Dan Heng says to himself, he lays on his bed and puts his headphones on to listen to music. 

An hour later he opened his eyes to see his brother in front of him, taking his headphones off he sat up on his bed and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes.

“Welcome back, how was your day?” he said

Terravox flopped onto his bed, “It was… eventful, I got suspended for a week.” 

Dan Heng looked at him flabbergasted. “What the hell did you do?” he asked 

“A girl was being sexually harassed, I beat the guys who did it. Long story, I'll tell you tomorrow. I need to rest for the night.” Terravox pulled the covers over his head and went to bed.

Dan Heng sighed, shutting his eyes. He was slightly frustrated that his brother was causing problems but didn't look into it any further until the morning.

As the morning arrived, Dan Heng went to the kitchen where his brother was. 

“Good morning, So tell me more about what happened yesterday.” Terravox turned around with two plates of eggs bacon and pancakes,

“Do you remember Evernight?” He said, setting the plates on the table he sat down with his sibling.

“Of course, she's actually helping me with one of my songs. What about her?” Dan Heng said while getting a glass of water.

“She was being sexually assaulted by three men, I stopped them but principal Lygus saw us. He was upset but Evernight told him what occurred so he didn't punish me as harshly.” Terravox said while yawning, “you said she's helping you with Your song?  How so.” He followed up. 

Dan Heng looked at his brother, “She’s going to sing, March convinced her to help me. She seemed a little upset, is that the reason?” Terravox’s expression shifted, feeling discomfort he wasn't sure if he should tell his brother about what she did to him.

“I don't want to go into too much detail, all I know is she thought I was someone else.” Dan Heng stopped chewing, he looked at Terravox with a suspicious look on his face.

“Thank you for the food, I must head out now.” He gave his brother a hug and went to his class.

As he was walking through the hall he noticed Evernight, curious to see if she had any progress on the vocals of his song he approached her.

“Hey Evernight, how are you?” She looked up at him, he noticed her eyes were puffy. “Oh Dan Heng, I'm ok.” She smiled faintly, although he knew it was fake.

“Have you figured out any lyrics yet? It's ok if you need more time, I'm not in a rush.” 

“I just need a little more time, I'm sorry.” She said, looking slightly embarrassed she felt like  he had something on his mind. 

“Is something wrong?” She asked, Dan Heng  wanted to know what happened between Terravox and her. 

“I heard what my brother did for you, I'm happy he was able to stop those men.” Evernight was shocked at the sudden change in topics. 

“Yea, I don't know what would've happened if he weren't there.” Dan Heng took a step forward, “What is your relationship with my brother?” He asked slightly annoyed. Evernight looked away from Dan Heng, unsure how to answer the question.

“I've known him for eight years, he protected me when we were kids. I had to move away in high school due to the bullying. But now, it's like he doesn't know me.”

 Dan Heng put his back up against the wall, he was surprised she was the one who Terravox was always talking about when they were young 

“My brother, he was in an accident about a year ago. He lost his memory, It took awhile for him to adjust to a new life.”

Evernight’s opened her mouth, but was unable to speak. “I-”

 Dan Heng interrupted her “I know you must've thought he forgot about you because you left him, but I can assure you that isn't the case. I have to go, we'll finish this later.” He ran to class, still thinking about Evernight and her relationship with his brother. 

After arriving in class, he noticed a man in a gym uniform leaning over Kafka cupping her breasts. 

 She notices Dan Heng standing at the door covering his face, “Mm! G-good morning, you're here a little early!.” She says, fixing her dress. She pushed the man in  front of her away, practically  sending him across the room.  He stands up and dusts his back off. 

 “Have you had any luck finding someone to sing for you?” She says with her head tilted. 

“I have actually, once again, thank you for your help the other day.”  he says with a smile. The man beside her walks up to Dan Heng standing over him

“You must be Terravox’s brother, I heard he got suspended do you know what for?.” Dan Heng backs up, feeling intimidated. 

“My brother saved a girl from being assaulted.” He said standing tall, the man glared at him for a few seconds before chuckling. 

“Ha, I knew there was a good reason.” said the man, “ I'm blade, the gym coach if there's anything you need come by. I have to get going, I’ll see you later.” he kisses Kafka and walks out of the classroom.

As the class started, Dan Heng noticed an interesting young man sitting next to him. He felt an angelic aura from the figure, the man noticed Dan Heng staring at him.

“Greetings, you must be new. I am Sunday, it's a pleasure to be acquainted with you.” The boy smiles at Dan Heng, 

“Hello, I’m Dan Heng.” He said, returning a smile back.

“Alright everyone, I have a project for everyone to work on, you are required to make a song. It is a group project so if you have a friend or friends, now would be a great time. It's worth a lot towards your grade, you have a week to finish it.” Kafka says cupping her hands together.

Dan Heng sighed, that means he would have to find someone willing to work on a song with him. He couldn't ask Evernight because he knew she was going through a lot at this time.

“Wanna be partners?” Dan Heng turns to his right to see Sunday smiling and looking in his direction. He looks to his left and behind him, “you're talking to me?.” he says, very shocked that he found someone this quick. 

Sunday chuckled, “of course who else would I be asking, I'm curious to see what you're capable of. Can I have your number?” Dan Heng shakes his hand in agreement, they exchange contact information so they could work better together. “I can come over to your dorm if you'd like.” 

Sunday smiles, “I wouldn't mind, my girlfriend might be there, hopefully that won't bother you.” 

“Of course not,” Says Dan Heng

Once the school day ended, Dan Heng heard his name being called. 

Turning around he saw it was Evernight, “Evernight, what can I do for you?”

She looked at him with a serious expression, “Can you tell me the rest of what happened to Terravox?”

Dan Heng looked at her, somewhat shocked but he knew she wanted answers. “Of course. Follow me, let's go somewhere else.” Says Dan Heng.

They arrived outside sitting on a bench, “so what do you want to know?” He asks,

She turns towards his direction, looking him in his eyes. “What happened, why did he lose his memory?” 

Dan Heng had a look of sadness, not wanting to remember the accident. 

“On his 18th birthday, my father bought him a motorcycle. A month after, he was on his way back from work and he was struck by a drunk driver. My brother was lucky to survive, he suffered severe head trauma. And that's how he lost his memory.”

Evernight felt saddened, having discovered the reason for her best friend's memory loss. “I’m so sorry, it must've been hard losing all the memories you two shared.” 

Dan Heng looked at her. “You are also going through the same thing, especially because he saved you multiple times.” he says. ‘I should get going, I have to go see someone. I'll talk to you later, tell March I said hello.” 

Dan Heng leaves, Evernight still taking in all of what was told to her. 

“Maybe, it's for the best that he forgot about me.” She says to herself, walking away.

Dan Heng knocked on the door to Sunday's room and a young girl with light grey hair and yellow eyes opened it.

“Oh, hello again! You must be here for Sunday. Sorry about the other day, my brother is just a little stupid sometimes.” She says, he enters the house and notices Sunday baking brownies in the kitchen. 

“Hello, welcome in. I'm just about finished here.” He says, smiling at Dan Heng

“I'm Stelle by the way, I hope I didn't leave a bad impression last time.” She scratches her head, a little embarrassed.

“Not at all, siblings do get annoying sometimes.” Dan Heng says, chuckling slightly

Stelle walks over to Sunday and puts her arms around his waist, “can I stay while you guys work? I promise I'll be quiet.” She says, while looking at her lover.

“Of course my love, you're always welcome here.” Sunday says kissing Stelle on her forehead. 

Dan Heng takes out his laptop,  “I'm ready whenever you are.” He says 

A few minutes later, Sunday walks to the couch where Dan Heng is sitting. He places down a plate of freshly baked Brownies and sits down next to him.

“Shall we get started?.” Says Sunday, Stelle sat next to Sunday, laying down on his lap.

Dan Heng puts his hand on his chin, contemplating what to do.

“Here, I have a microphone for you to sing into.” 

Sunday looks at him, “what kind of song shall we do? I was thinking, maybe we can make it about not wanting to be alone?” Sunday says, stroking His girlfriends hair

“Hm, that could work.” Dan Heng shakes his head in agreement. 

Sunday clears his throat, “start recording, I'm ready to start.” Sunday says. 

Dan Heng hits record and a few seconds later he hears Sunday's soothing voice.

“It takes a lot to take my time

Please give me yours, I'll give you mine

I know I've got the words but I can't get them out

Spent so many years straight up losing my mind

I've been feeling less vacant with you by my side

You've gotta let me know because I need you now

Someday you'll see that knife that's inside my spine

It's okay if you can't pull it out 'cause I know that you'll try.”

Sunday pauses “How is it so far?” He asks with an embarrassed expression.

Dan Heng looks at his with shock, “ it's amazing…” Sunday Laughs, “thank you, shall we continue?” Dan Heng hits record again.

“It's finally time to make this better

Tell me we can make this work together

I know it's going to be alright, but when I'm in my head

I still feel so alone 

'Cause I can't make it on my

I can't make it on my own.”  Dan Heng was still stunned by how good Sunday's singing was, he focused on the laptop in front of him to not forget to end the recording when he was finished singing. 

“Everything's about to break!

Own, own, own

It's finally time to make this better 

Tell me we can make this work together

I know it's going to be alright, but when I'm in my head

I still feel so alone 

'Cause I can't make it on my 

I can't make it on my own…” 

He sets the microphone down,  “so, how'd I do?” Sunday asks. Stelle claps, proud of how well her boyfriend did, Dan Heng also clapped and smiled at Sunday.

“You did great! I'll get started on the instruments right away. It should take no longer than a day or two.” 

Sunday signs with relief, “that works just keep me updated. Thank you, if you don't mind I would like to just hear it when we present it. I trust you'll do great!” 

Dan Heng smiles, happy that he has some faith on his side. “ I should get going, thank you for the Brownies, they were great. Goodbye Sunday, miss Stelle.” He waves goodbye and closes the door.

“Goodbye Dan He-”  as soon as the door shut Stelle straddles Sunday, attacking him with kisses.

Dan Heng was walking back to his dorm,  he noticed March sitting on a bench by herself. 

“March?.”  He says, walking over he sat down with her. 

“Dan Heng! W-what are you doing here?” She says, a little surprised to see him out this late. 

“I was heading back to my dorm, I saw you were here. Are you alright?” he asks with a concerned look.

“I'm just thinking about my sister, how I can be there for her.” March looks down, saddened by what her sister is going through.

Dan Heng was silent,  unsure how to help March. “When my brother is always sad, I try to do things that make him laugh.” he says, with a heart warming smile hoping it would make her feel better.

March giggles, wiping the tears out of her eyes. “You're right, I should be trying to cheer her up. Thank you, Dan Heng” she hugs him, glad that she has a friend like him to make her feel better.

“Of course, I'm always here if yo-” he felt something on shoulder, he saw March resting her head on him. She fell asleep, he was flustered but didn't want to wake her up so he let her rest as long as she needed. He took out his laptop to try and edit the vocals for Sunday's voice that they recorded earlier.

Two hours pass, March wakes up and realizes she was sleeping on Dan Heng.

“AH! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to fall asleep! I couldn't rest last night and I just-” she stopped immediately, Dan Heng put his finger to her lips, shushing her. 

“It's ok, I didn't mind.” He said with a small chuckle. She covered her face, embarrassed that she let something like that happen.

“I should get going, thank you for staying with me Dan Heng.” She said as she hugged him. 

He began to blush, but he returned the hug.

March walked back to her dorm, Dan Heng closed his laptop and began to walk back to his room as well.

“I'm home brother.” He calls out. He saw Terravox in a tank top doing sit-ups.

“Welcome back, how was your day?” Terravox said while getting up from the floor.

“It was pretty good, I made some new friends and have another person working on a song with me.” He says while smiling and taking off his jacket.

“That's great! I'm happy for you, can't wait to hear them.” Terravox says, patting his brothers back.

Dan Heng fell asleep, exhausted from the day he had. 

Dan Heng  finds himself in a hospital. He notices Terravox laying unconscious on a bed, he wakes up immediately, breathing uncontrollably.

“It was just a nightmare…” he said, as he walked to the restroom to wet his face with water,  He had a small vision of his brother seizing with doctors surrounding him. He slaps himself to wake himself up.

A few days later, he had finally finished the song him and Sunday had been working on. He texts Sunday, hoping he wasn't being a bother.

Dan Heng was unsure what to do, it being the weekend he didn't have school. A few moments later He felt his phone vibrate,

He got another notification shortly after.

Dan Heng went to take a shower and get ready for his meet up.

A few minutes later while he's putting on cologne, he notices Terravox leaning against the bathroom door. “Well well well. Who’s the lucky lady?” he says, slapping his brother on the back.

“I’m going to hang out with March, I will be back tonight.” Dan Heng says, he's confused why his brother is acting strange. It's just two friends hanging out, he thought. “why are you staring at me like that?” He says.

“Nothing, just keep doing what you're doing I’ll see you later.” Terravox pats his brother's head and goes back to the kitchen.

Dan Heng got to his meeting spot a little early, he pulled out his phone and sat on a bench.

“Dan Heng! Sorry for the wait.” March said, he looked up and saw March in a beautiful dress and her hair done nicely.

“You look beautiful.” Dan Heng says, March blushed and looked away from Dan Heng. 

“Ah… thank you, you look great too. I like the jacket it suits you!” She says, “shall we get going?” He nods and they begin walking.

They arrive at a theme park, she takes his hand and they wander around the park. They stop at a claw machine, March spots a huge jellyfish plushie, “wow, Evernight would love this!” She pulled out her wallet and inserted some coins into the machine. She failed multiple times and gave up. 

“Aw man, It's ok maybe next time.” She says with a disappointed frown. 

Dan Heng takes out his card and scans the machine, he focuses hard to figure out the best way to get the toy. He picked up a panda next to the Jellyfish and it made it fall over, making it easier to pick it up. He scanned the card once again, he positioned the claw over the jellyfish and it lowered slowly. He had picked the plushie up and put it in the hole beside him.

He ran over to March who was getting two candy apples for her and Dan Heng. 

“How did you-” She was cut off by Dan Heng. “I can't have you knowing my secrets." he says, She gave him a hug and picked up the stuffed toy she planned to give to her beloved sister.

An hour later it was starting to get dark, They left the park and sat on a bench. She hugged the Jellyfish plush that Dan Heng had won, “Thank you for today I had a blast!” she says. Dan Heng looks at her and smiles at the sight of her being happy.

“We should start heading back to our dorms.” March holds his hand, they start walking to March's dorm.

“Thanks for walking me to my room, I had fun today. We should do it again sometime.” she says while smiling.

Dan Heng chuckles slightly, “  I should get going thank you for today. Hopefully your sister likes the stuffed animal. goodnight , Mar-” Before Dan Heng could finish his sentence, March pressed her lips against his. She gently pushed him against a wall deepening the kiss, she separates herself from him and backs away.

“Goodnight Dan Heng." She says while entering her dorm. Dan Heng stood there, stunned by her actions. He walks back to his room, still in shock.

“Welcome home brother, how was your date?”  Terravox said as Dan Heng entered.

“It was… great.” he says laying onto his bed, he was still thinking about March.  He ended up falling asleep without realizing it.

After waking up he checked his phone to see a message from Evernight,

He rubs his eyes and gets up from his bed, washing his face he grabs his jacket and runs off to Evernight's dorm.

When he got there, he knocked on the door waiting for Evernight to open it. She opens it while holding her jellyfish plush that he won last night, “come in, March is sleeping so we’ll have to be a little quiet.” she says, “Can I get you something to drink?” Dan Heng declines, he sits on the  couch and pulls out his laptop.

“Did you want to wait for March to wake up before we start?” Dan Heng says, Evernight looks at him a little embarrassed. “Ah, you're probably right. Since we have a little while, how's Terravox?” she asks, blushing uncontrollably.

 Dan Heng looked up from his screen, he wasn't sure what to say. “He’s doing fine, just a little bored since he can't leave the dorm.” Evernight sighed with relief, she was hoping he wasn't injured from the brawl he had with the men who harassed her.

30 minutes pass, the two look over to see march in nothing but a bra and panties walking like a zombie.

“Evernight… Where's my pink and blue bra? you know i hate when things don’t matc-”  March and Dan Heng locked eyes, she slowly backed up into her room and slammed the door. He could hear banging coming from her door.

March comes back out of her room fully clothed, and a bruise on her forehead. “D-dan Heng! What are you doing here? So early…”  Dan Heng was quiet for a little while, still shocked from what happened previously.

“Your sister invited me to record the vocals for my song, I got here earlier than I should have.” Dan Heng said looking away from March, he remembered the kiss she had given him last night.

“Oh can I stay? I promise I'll be quiet.” She says holding her sister's hands. Evernight sighs, “fine, I guess you can stay. Just don't make fun of me, it's been awhile since I last sang.

The three all sit on the couch, Evernight holds a microphone, but seems to be struggling to sing,

“Remember, go with your heart. Think about someone or something you miss.” Says Dan Heng. Evernight takes a deep breath, taking a moment before she lets the words flow out of her.

“Words spill out of your mouth

I miss you, but I know you miss your old self too

“Can we carry him to his room?” The man with blonde hair speaks out, his tone serious but concerned for Terravox.

“You can, yes, just be careful with him.” she says smiling. 

“Phainon,  help put him on my back.” He says while lifting Terravox.

They enter the room and set him gently on his bed. 

“Thank you both, I'm grateful.” says Dan Heng, he was still concerned for his brother's well being.

Phainon pats Dan Heng on the back. “No problem, he's a great guy, it sucks that he pushed himself too hard. I should've noticed something was wrong.” He says with a frown 

“It's not your fault my brother is very hard headed and doesn't usually take help when he needs it.” 

“We'll be going now, hopefully he gets better soon.” Mydei says.

They both exit the room, Dan Heng sighs slightly stressed.

“I'm gonna have to stay home and take care of him for a few days…” he says, slightly annoyed but not at his brother.

“What if… I take care of him” Dan Heng turns around to see Evernight still in his room, 

“Is that allowed? And  what about March?” He says.

“If… you're sure about this. Then alright, I'll have March bring some of your stuff over, I'll take some stuff over there as well.”

Terravox woke up from a deep sleep, he tried getting up from his bed but immediately fell over groaning in pain. His body was numb and his ears rang.

The next day, his fever had gone down a little. He went to the kitchen and saw Evernight cooking soup.

She picked one up and fed him one. Evernight looked at him, seeing if there were any signs of distaste. 

He liked the chewiness of the dessert, it was not too sweet but just the right amount for him to like.

”It's pretty good, I'm not much of a sweets guy, but this is amazing.” He says, Evernight smiled and hugged Terravox. 

The two sat down on the couch and ate some of the cookies while watching a romance movie. Terravox had dozed off halfway through, resting his head on Evernight. She quickly noticed him fall asleep on her, she cupped his cheek and pressed her lips against his cheek.

She kissed his forehead in an attempt to try calming him down. He fell asleep in her arms once more, Evernight was concerned with his recent panic attack, she called Dan Heng hoping he could help her. She walks away towards the kitchen, 

“Hey can we talk?” She says. Evernight looked over at Terravox with a concerned expression.

“Is everything ok?” Dan Heng says. He was a little concerned but trusted her capability of taking care of his brother.

“He had a panic attack a little while ago, he said something about how he died and that someone ran him over. I'm just worried about him.” She said, walking over to him she cupped his cheek.

“I don't know what caused him to remember the crash, please keep an eye on him. If you need anything else just let me know.” Dan Heng hangs up the call.

They both laid there hugging each other, still catching their breaths. She looked at him and smiled.

The two lovers went to take a shower, cleaning themselves up. Evernight hugged her boyfriend, then leaned on his chest.

“I love you, Darling.” she said.

He returned the kiss, then stroked her hair while smiling.

“I love you too…Evernight.” When they finished, Terravox carried her to the bed holding her in his arms as she closed her eyes. He looked at her for a few minutes before cuddling her and dosing off.

Terravox had woken up remembering what occurred last night. Before getting ready to go to the gym with his friends, he looked at his girlfriend's sleeping face then kissed her forehead, smiling at her resting face.

He then left to meet his friends. He looked up from his phone after hearing Phainon call him.

“Yo Terrae! How've you been?” Phainon waves at Terravox while walking with Cyrene, Mydei and Castorice. 

Terravox looked at the other two girls clinging onto their boyfriends.

“Sorry…we forgot to tell you we were bringing our girls. They wanted to watch us workout, Hope you don't mind.” Phainon says. 

“Not at all, maybe next time I'll bring Evernight.” Terravox said. The group then went inside the gym.

Cyrene and Castorice drooled over how good their boyfriends looked working out.

“I want Phainon to lift me like he lifts those weights…” Cyrene says. 

Castorice looks at her and snaps her fingers in front of her face.

“Hello? Cyrene, are you in some sort of trance?” She says. She eventually gave up and sighed.

“Are you ladies having fun?” Phainon asks while sitting next to Cyrene. She snapped out of her trance and looked at her boyfriend.

“Oh us? Yeah it was cool, I guess.” She says nonchalantly. Mydei sat next to Castorice letting her massage his sore muscles. 

Terravox had been slightly jealous of the other two having their girlfriends with them, it made him miss his own.

“I better get going, I'll see you guys later.”  Terravox says, They all waved goodbye and he left, returning to his dorm.

When he arrived, Terravox set his stuff down and changed out of his sweaty shorts and shirt. He sat on the bed, watching Evernight sleep peacefully. 

He kissed her on her forehead then laid down taking a small nap while holding her as he drifted off to sleep.

Dan Heng and March were walking through the park, they were looking for good spots to take photos for her photography class.

“Ah! Look at all of those turtles, they're so cute!” March said. Dan Heng smiled and watched her run over to take pictures. Dan Heng noticed March was approached by a group of guys. He walked over to see what they wanted, slightly intimidated.

“Hey baby girl, wanna come take a ride with us? I promise we'll be gentle.” One of the men said. The other men laughed, March backed away from the group back to Dan Heng.

“Wait a damn minute. Are you that bastard's brother? The one who got me kicked out of the university? Oh-ho this is gonna be fun.” one man says. March gets behind Dan Heng, he steps forward trying to intimidate the men.

“If you want her, you're going to have to go through me.” Dan Heng said. The leader of the group stepped in front of Dan heng.

“Oh we don't want her.” The man strikes Dan Heng in his stomach, causing him to fall to the ground groaning in pain

“Dan Heng!” March screamed. The other men grouped up and started taking turns punching him. One struck his eye causing it to swell up, another punched his nose making it bleed.

“Let this be a message to him.” The men all walk away laughing, March runs to Dan Heng and helps him up.

“Dan Heng are you okay? I'm so sorry it's all my fault…” she says, tears began running down her face and she tried helping him up.

“N-no it's not, I need to tell my brother he's in danger.” He tried walking, he was limping while holding his stomach.

Terravox had woken up from a nap, when he got up and saw Evernight in the kitchen cooking for her lover.

“Good morning Darling, sleep well?” She asked. He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in for a kiss.

“I did, hopefully you got enough rest too.” He said with a smile. 

After they ate, they sat on the couch with Evernight sitting on his lap looking towards him.

“So…last night.” She says.  Terravox  looked away and blushed. 

“I'm glad you were my first, I didn't want anyone else but you to be the one to claim me. Not to mention you're the perfect fit for me.” His face got more red, causing her to giggle.

“You're so cute.” She says. She kissed his cheek and hugged him. Evernight looked at him with a puzzled expression.

“So are we officially together? Do I finally have you all to myself?” She asks. He smiles and puts his hands on her hips.

“Yes, I love you Evernight, I promise to be only your's.” He says. She hugged him tightly and began kissing her lover.

“Did I actually upset you yesterday? You hurt my feelings by not talking to me.” She said with a frown. He brushed his thumb against her lips and smiled.

“No, I just wasn't myself and didn't want you to see me like that. I'm sorry, I hope you can forgive me.” He says. She stroked his hair and a grin appeared on her face.

“After what I felt last night, I forgive you darling. The best part is I can have you any time I want.” said Evernight. He laughed nervously, he knew that having a girlfriend means he would have to make her as happy as possible. 

As they were laying there cuddling each other, they heard a knock from the front door. Terravox got up from the couch to answer the guest.

When he opened the door, he saw March and Dan Heng. He saw March crying, Dan Heng had a black eye and his nose was bleeding.

“I'm sorry, it's all my fault…” March says. Evernight heard her sister crying and came to the door.

“March! What happened?” Evernight pulled March inside, sitting here on the couch while wiping her tears.

Terravox pulled his brother into his room and slammed the door, startling the girls.

“Who the fuck did this too you Dan Heng!? And don't you lie to me!” He yelled. The younger brother sat down on the bed while holding his abdomen.

“It was just some bullies, they tried to hurt March but I failed to protect her…I'm not a real man like you are.” Tears flowed down Dan Heng's face, Terravox who was furious needed answers.

“I need you to take me to whoever hurt you two. Now.” He commands. 

“It was some guy with glasses I think, and he was with some guys. He said to give you a message. He's by the park but brother please dont-” before Dan Heng could finish his sentence, his brother stormed off.

Terravox clenched his fist and walked to the door, he turned to the girls watching his outburst.

“Help him with his wounds, I'll be back later.” He slammed the door, making his way to get revenge for his brother.

Dan Heng came out of the room limping, still holding his abdomen in pain. The sisters helped him sit on the couch and Evernight went to the bathroom to get some rubbing alcohol so his wounds wouldn't get infected.

“I'm sorry, March. I couldn't protect you.” He says. March cupped his cheek and kissed him.

“Don't say that, if it wasn't for you I would've been badly injured…” she says. Evernight comes back with the first aid kit and March cleans his wounds

 She put a band aid on his chin and kissed it, hoping it would make it heal faster.

Dan Heng blushed, happy that she was unharmed. Evernight had a concerned look on her face, worried about Terravox.

“He'll be okay Evernight, he's strong.” Dan Heng said, hoping to ease her worry. 

“Should we follow him? Evernight asks. Dan Heng and March look at each other.

“I don't want him getting hurt, you guys can stay if you want.” She said. March rushed out the door holding Dan Heng's hand.

“Evernight wait!” March said.

They managed to catch up to Terravox, hiding behind a bush. They saw him approach a group of five men.

“Well well well, if it isn't the prick who got me kicked out. Guess my message got to you after all.” All of the thugs chuckled while pulling out weapons. 

Evernight had an angered look on her face, becoming more concerned about his safety.

“Don't do anything stupid Evernight, please.” March said.

“Not only do you cowards need weapons to fight, but you also have to have multiple people to gang up on one guy. I'm so glad I'm not pathetic like you all.” Terravox said. Cracking his knuckles.

The men attacked Terravox, he twisted one attacker's wrist and jabbed the knife into his thigh then kicked him to the ground. Another threw a punch, his fist was equipped with brass knuckles.

 Terravox elbowed him in the face, followed up by a punch to the throat causing him to fall to the ground struggling to breathe.

The last two men had a baseball bat and a dagger, one struck the back of Terravox's head causing him to groan. He turned around and punched the man in the nose. After the man was staggered,  He hit the bat wielder in the jaw then smashed his head against the ground causing him to fall unconscious. 

The man with the knife charged at him striking him in the stomach. His adrenaline was running out, he managed to take the knife out and jab it into the attacker, causing him to fall to the ground.

The last thug, Skott was left without the help from his crew. He tried throwing a punch Terravox dodged, then punched him in the gut. He fell to the floor vomiting onto the ground.

 Terravox kicked him in the nose causing it to break and he fell unconscious. Terravox’s adrenaline rush began to wear off, he sat on the floor breathing heavily. 

He looked at his shirt and saw it was covered in blood, blood began dripping out of his nose onto his shirt.

“D-damnit…” he looked up, his vision was blurry and he saw March, Evernight and Dan Heng rushing over to him.

“Darling! Can you hear me? Are you okay!?” Evernight held his head and hugged him. 

Terravox cupped Evernight’s cheek, kissing her. She tasted his blood and her eyes shot open, horrified by the state he was in.

“I-I'm fine, did…I win?” He said. Dan Heng picked him up and put his arm around his shoulder. 

“Yes brother, you won. C'mon, let's get you home.” Terravox fell to the ground, they were not strong enough to carry him in his unconscious state.

“What do we do!?” March says. Dan Heng tried picking him up but the weight of his unconscious body was too much to handle. Evernight called Cyrene and Castorice, hoping their boyfriends would be able to help.

They looked down the path and saw Cyrene and Castorice running towards them, Mydei and Phainon sprinted as fast as they could, worried about their friend.

“What the hell happened here?” Mydei says.

As they walked closer they saw five men groaning on the ground and Terravox unconscious, with red stained into his shirt and his nose bleeding. 

They looked down further and saw a red stain on his abdomen. The two men interrogated the thugs hoping to get answers. They all ran away limping, scared of the two brutes in front of them.

“We need help please…” Evernight said. 

 “We can call Hyacine, she'll help us tend to the wounds.” Cyrene hugged Evernight, guiding her away from the scene.

Mydei and Phainon picked Terravox up and carried him to his dorm.

When they arrived back at the dorm, they set him down on the bed, Hyacine arrived shortly after cleaning his wounds and sticking up the stab wound.

They all exited his room and gathered at the couch.

“So how did this all happen? It looked like a damn crime scene.”  Phainon said. Dan Heng looked at them,

“I protected March from those men, but I was hurt badly. My brother was furious and stormed off to fight them alone. He managed to win, but his injuries were too severe.” he said.

“His stab wound wasn't too deep, but he suffered blunt force trauma to the back of his skull. I can only do so much without proper equipment…” Hyacine said with a worried expression.

Evernight went back to the room to check on him, March followed her making sure she was okay.

“We should go, let us know if you need any more help alright?” Mydei said. Dan Heng nodded, he was glad his brother was home safe. 

March and Evernight walked out of his room with March holding her sister's hand.

“Are you sure you'll be fine by yourself?” March asks her sister. Evernight smiled at March.

“I'll be okay, it's not the first time I've taken care of him.” She says. Evernight gave her sister a hug,  March and Dan Heng returned to their dorms.

“We went through a lot today huh?” March said. Dan Heng flopped onto the bed, exhausted from the amount of stress he endured.

“Yea…I just hope he's alright.” He says. March sat next to him, rubbing his back.

“If there's one thing I trust my sister with, it's taking care of the people she loves, he's in good hands don't worry.” March says. He sighs with relief, happy that he could trust his brother in someone else's hands.

“How's your bruises? Do they still hurt?” She asks. 

“They don't hurt as bad, I think the kiss made it feel better.” She blushed, embarrassed that he still remembered her kissing his wounds. 

“You’re always so kind to me,  that's what I love about you.” March wrapped her arms around his neck, leaning into him. She pushed him onto the bed laying down on his chest.

“March? W-what are you doing?” He asks. March placed her hand on his chest and cupped his cheek with her other hand.

“Dan Heng…I love you. You've done nothing but help me and you put yourself in danger just to protect me.” She says. 

 March locked hands with him and pressed her lips against his. She let out a soft moan as she added her tongue, he was hesitant at first but then he put his hands on her hips. After they separated themselves, they took heavy breaths and were both flustered.

“S-sorry, I got a little ahead of myself.” March said. Dan Heng cleared his throat, looking away from her with a slight blush.

“It's okay…” he said nervously. March backed away from him and sat on the floor.

“Do you feel the same? It's okay if you don’t, I mean who would like someone like me right?” she said while laughing. He sat next to her, putting his hand on her cheek.

“I feel the same way, March. I like you too.” Dan Heng leaned in, connecting his lips onto hers. She smiled and sat on his lap, happy that she finally confessed her love to Dan Heng.

A few days had passed by, March and Dan Heng were sitting on her bed.

“Do you wanna go check on your brother's condition?” March asked, Dan Heng nodded and March called her sister. 

“Hey sis! Can we come over?” she says. 

“We don't mind, Castorice, Cyrene and the boys are here too, see you soon.” March hung up the call. Her and Dan Heng started to get ready to go over to Terravox and Evernights dorm.

When they got there, they were greeted by Evernight allowing them in. March gave her sister a hug then sat down with everyone.

“Hello brother, are you feeling any better?” Dan Heng asked his older brother. Terravox looked to be in good shape, though certain movements caused him to groan slightly.

“I'm fine, the stab wound still hurts a little. Just happy I was able to finally get rid of those guys.” Evernight snuggled up against her lover, showing signs of irritation.

“You could've gotten yourself killed. What if your injuries were more fatal, hm?” Evernight said while pinching his cheek.

“I'm fine, babe. No one messes with the people I love and think they're gonna live a jolly good life. They're lucky I held back.” 

She sighed then kissed him on the cheek. “Don't do it again please, I don't want to lose you again.” She said, Mydei and Phainon stood up from the couch, standing next to Terravox.

“Next time you're in a battle, call us. Mydei loves a good fight.” Phainon said. 

An hour later, they brought out a big wine bottle. Evernight, March, Cyrene and Castorice were all drunk dancing together in the living room while the boys watched them.

“Don't suppose you have another bottle? Can't believe they drank all that wine that fast. I couldn't even get more than one shot.” Mydei said. Terravox shook his head at him while sighing.

“Nope. That was it, Evernight usually downs the bottle herself whenever we drink. It seems your girlfriends do the same.” He said. 

“Cyrene’s so cute when she's drunk, she's a little too horny though. Not that I'm complaining or anything.” How do the other girls act?”  Phainon asked. Terravox rubbed the back of his head.

“She’s…a real handful, that's for sure.” Terravox said. Mydei looked at the Castorice, admired by her beauty.

“All she does is cling onto me like a kitten.” Mydei said. Cyrene came stumbling over to Phainon, she sat on his lap while rubbing her breasts against him.

“Babe…we should leave so you and I can be alone~” she giggled while biting her lip. Phainon picked her girlfriend up and walked to the door.

“Welp, wish me luck guys, see you tomorrow maybe depending on how this goes.” He said while closing the door.

Castorice sat next to Mydei, cuddling him and falling asleep.

“I should probably get going too. See you guys.” He said while leaving. Dan Heng and Terravox watched as their girlfriends slept next to each other on the couch.

“Are you gonna stay or go back to your dorm?” He asked. Dan Heng picked March up and carried her on his back.

“Yea, March gets a little upset when she doesn't sleep in her own bed with her stuffed animals. See you later brother.” Dan Heng was the last to leave, leaving Evernight and Terravox alone.

Terravox looked beside him to see Evernight sleeping on his shoulder. He picked her up and carried her to the bed, laying her down gently. He smiled and brushed his thumb against her lips.

“Sweet dreams, Evernight.” He placed a kiss on her forehead then laid down beside her.

Dan Heng laid March on her bed, covering her up with her blanket. Before he went to bed, Dan Heng went to the bathroom to wash his face and brush his teeth.

 He dried his face off with a towel yawning from being exhausted. 

He went to the bed and sat down, looking at March cuddling her pillow. Dan Heng dozed off beside her locking hands with his lover.

A few days later, The school year was close to coming to an end, Terravox had still not decided whether he would stay or leave the university. Evernight examined her boyfriend, noticing something was on his mind.

“What's wrong darling?” Evernight asked while rubbing his back. Terravox turned towards her, clearing his throat.

“I’m fine…just wondering what the plan is now that the year is finished.” He said. She looked at him with a concerned expression.

“Whatever you decide, I’ll be with you every step of the way.” She kissed his cheek, causing him to blush and smile.

Terravox called Dan Heng to ask him to come over so they could decide what their plans were.

When he arrived with March, they sat down next to their siblings.

“What's up?” Dan Heng asked. 

“I was wondering, did you want to stay at the university or go elsewhere?” Terravox said. Dan Heng looked over at March, she had a worried look on her face.

“I-I want to leave…but I don't want to lose March or any of my friends.” He said

Terravox walked around the room thinking of a solution. “How about…we buy a home here? For all 4 of us.” Terravox suggested. The other three looked at each other, confused about what he meant.

“Where will we get the money for a home?” Dan Heng asked. Terravox smiled then showed his brother his bank account.

“I forgot to tell you, father gave us two million dollars to cover our expenses while he was away.” Dan Heng's mouth opened, hesitant to say something but remembered how wealthy their father was.

March and Evernight look at each other shocked at how much money he had.

“Are we really doing this? Living together sounds amazing…” Evernight said. While hugging her boyfriend. 

March locked hands with Dan Heng while leaning on his shoulder.

“I don't mind where I go, as long as you're with me.” She said. Terravox began searching for a nice house for them to live in. He managed to find one that suited their situation, a four bedroom two story house. Evernight and March would share a room with their lovers, leaving. The last two rooms for guests. 

 A few days later, The four had packed all of their clothes and accessories that were at the university. When they arrived at their new home, Terravox and Evernight went to their new room, looking at all the boxes sitting on the floor with their things inside.

After buying new furniture and beds for the house, Terravox and Dan Heng laid in their new beds with their beautiful girlfriends.

“I'm so happy we're finally living together, and we have our siblings here too so we can see them everyday!” Evernight said. Terravox smiled, he leaned into her and pressed his lips against hers. She wrapped her arms around him while straddling him.

They laid there embracing each other's warmth, Evernight looked at him, tilting her head.

“What's next for us?” She asked. Terravox kissed her cheek while holding her hand.

“We'll have to see where life takes us, who knows, maybe we'll get married soon.”  Evernight smothered her lover with kisses then hugged him.

Evernight and Terravox held each other as they slept, Evernight opened her eyes looking at her boyfriend smiling, excited for what was to come ahead for them in the future.
