Notes:
Cw: implied labor, non graphic description of throwing up, morning sickness, gagging
Chapter Text
Her skin was soft and smooth. Her tiny cries echoed throughout their living room as Roman clutched the small infant to his bare chest. His left hand was still gripping Logan's while Virgil sat by his feet, all three of them in awe of what just happened.
"What the fuck," Roman's breathless voice says as he stares at the tiny human he has spent the last 9 months carrying. He couldn't believe she was finally here, in his arms. It all happened so fast. He was pretty sure their hospital bag was still sitting on their bed.
"She's beautiful," Logan whispers and Roman looked up see both of his partners crying. Virgil's hair was starting to fall out of the bun it sat in, his scrubs still dirty from his shift at the hospital.
"She's ours," Virgil whispers as Roman rests his head back against the couch cushion.
"Finally," He whispers, rubbing his fingers up and down her back as his partners pressed gentle kisses to his head.
"You were incredible," Logan whispers, wiping his own eyes before dabbing Roman's still sweaty face with a towel. Roman let out a weak laugh, shaking his head.
"I was a bitch," he says and Virgil snorts, shaking his head. He could stop looking their daughter. None of them could. She was so tiny.
"I've had way worse said to me, besides, your safety and hers are worth it," he says, Logan agreeing.
Roman smiles softly, looking down at their newborn, her pudgy, patchy skin pressed against his bare chest. She had the same skin condition as Virgil, vitiligo. It fit her nicely.
"Welcome to the world Charlotte," He whispers, cradling her closer, trying to soak up in the fact that she was actually here.
--------
*9 months earlier*
It all started in the community theatre bathroom, because of course it did. Roman kneeled over the toilet, while classical music played over the speaker. He didn't know how long he had been throwing up, just that he should probably get checked out at some point, because this fucking sucked.
"Ro?" a familiar voice asked and Roman groaned, resting back against the wall.
"Present," he muttered, brushing his hair from his face. The tile felt nice against his warm back. There was a knock on the door and then suddenly his friend was peaking his head under the door. His blonde hair falling in front of his glasses.
"Are you okay?" He asks and Roman shook his head, immediately regretting the sudden movement, because it made him nauseous again.
"Can I come in?" He asks, and Roman nods, although he didn't get up to unlock the door, because if he did, he might fall over, so Patton crawled under the stall.
"What happened?" Patton asks and Roman shrugged, putting his face in his knees. It had been going on for months, he couldn't keep food down, his sense of smell at this point was wild. He was so tired.
"I don't know, I just got nauseous. My scene is pretty soon though," he mumbled, slowly standing up, hanging onto the railing for deal life.
"Roman, you shouldn't go out there like that" Patton says worried and Roman waved him off, opening the door.
"It's fine, my understudy's not here today, so they need me," Roman protests and Patton shook his head, grabbing his hand.
"Ro, you need to rest. You're sick," He says, sighing when Roman gently pulled his hand away, flashing him a small smile.
"I'm doing perfectly fine,"
-----------
Perfectly fine was the last word he'd use to describe the way he felt. The longer he spent on stage, the more he wanted to crawl back into his skin. The minute rehersal was cut, Roman once again ran back to the bathroom, barely closing the door before the threw up again.
"I just hope what he got isn't contagious," He heard one of the tech say from outside the bathroom. Truth to be told, Roman agreed. He didn't want to get anyone else sick with this.
"Okay, now I'm taking you home, we have to make a stop first, but then I'm taking you home," Patton says, standing by the sinks when Roman was finished. Roman rolled his eyes as he washed his hands, pausing when he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror.
His tanned skin was shiny from sweat due to how physical the show he was in, was. There dark circles under his eyes. He was exhausted. "Fine," He mumbles and Patton cocked his head.
"No arguing, yeah I think something is definetly not right," He says and Roman sighed, drying off his hands.
"I'll talk to Vee when he's done with his gig tonight,"Roman mutters and Patton nods squeezing his shoulder.
"Yep, you can talk to him after we get you a pregnancy test," Patton declares and Roman stops in his tracks his eyes going wide.
"Absolutely not," He says, his heart pounding in his throat.
"Yes, you never get sick like this unless you're on your cycle. I know you aren't because T typically stops your cycle after a few months," Patton rambles and Roman sighs. There were many perks of having a childhood friend like Patton. They noticed every little detail about you. But on the downside if something was wrong with you. They would know, and they were usually right.
"I hate that you're right," He grumbles and Patton smiles, linking his arm with Roman's as they left the building.
"We'll get the test and grab your favorite barbeque chips and it'll be great,"
Roman nearly gagged at the thought of it. Even normally he loved the chips that Patton was talking about." Okay now I hear it. God I think this is the last thing I need right now," he mutters and his friend offers him a small smile.
"We'll figure it out. Don't you worry,"

Cw: mentions of nausea
Chapter Text
"So just dip it in there and wait 3 minutes?" Roman asks gesturing to the four pregnancy tests that sat on bathroom sink. They were doing this in Patton's dorm room. Logan was getting ready for work and Roman wasn't ready to discuss this with him.
"Uh yeah, for those two at least. These are five and it should have two lines if it's positive," Patton says flipping through the instructions, frowning when he saw how shaky about Roman's hands were.
"Do you want me to do this?" He asks and Roman shook his head.
"That feels a little unsanitary," He says with a laugh, pressing the cap on the last test, turning all four of them over.
"I work with kids, I've cleaned up worse," Patton teased and Roman laughs, breathing in deeply.
"Vee almost drove me to walk in today. I don't know how long I can keep this up if... if I am pregnant," he says. He'd have to go off T. The very thought made his inside twist in a way he hated. They all wanted a baby, but this early into their school days was terrifying to him.
"Ro, you can tell them,"
"I don't want to stop them from living their life. I mean Virgil's supposed to be touring the state soon. Logan just got his dream internship. It's all happening so fast," Roman says, his voice breaking when Patton got down on his knees and pulled his friend in a tight hug.
"We'll figure it out. Just breathe,"
The timer and the door opening to the dorm happening at the same time, felt like the cherry on top of whatever this day was.
"Shit,"
"Babe you here?" Janus's voice called as Roman stood up, to grab one of the tests, his hands trembling as he held it tightly.
"In here. Ro's here as well," Patton calls eyeing Roman who stood like a deer in headlights.
"Hey.... Woah is everything okay?" Janus asks. The young man was usually fairly sarcastic but he seemed genuinely concerned.
"Just taking a test. We think Ro may be pregnant,"
The two dark lines on the test confirmed that.
"No I am," he mumbled, showing the two of them the test before flipping over the other three. All of them had the two lines or said 'Pregnant 4-6'
"Holy shit is this good?" Janus asks, the two of them waiting for a reaction from Roman. Roman nods after a few minutes, allowing himself to process for a second.
"I think it is. I'm really overwhelmed," He admitted, setting the test down to run his hand through his hair. Patton put his hands to his mouth, squealing when Roman opened his arms, laughing at the force of the hug he received.
"I can't wait to meet the little bean. I'm going to spoil them rotten!" He declares, and Janus chuckles fondly at his boyfriend. Patton smiles, before pulling out of the hug. At least one of them was at the stage of excitement. Roman was still in shock.
"Do you know who the father is?" Janus asks, letting out a small noise when Patton elbowed him hard. He wasn't wrong for asking either, he'd probably be getting that question a lot as this progresses. Oh jeez that was going to be a pain in the ass to explain.
"No it's a valid question. It's Vee's. Logan isn't really interested in that aspect of our relationship, so it is Virgil's. But I'm hoping if neither of them are pissed at me, that we can raised them together, the three of us. That's how I want it at least,"
"They aren't going to be mad at you," Patton says and Roman shrugged.
"I don't know if either of them can get mad at you. Both of them are obsessed with you," Janus teased, crossing his arm as he leaned against the wall. The two hadn't always gotten along, for the sake of Patton they did their best. He was grateful that Janus wasn't giving him shit for this.
"Yeah. Yeah. Holy shit I'm having a baby," He mutters, placing a hand on his stomach.
------------
By the time he had gotten back to his apartment the shock had worn off for the most part. The apartment was dark, meaning that it was just him. "I guess it's just us for a bit. Yeah that doesn't get any less weird to say," He mutters, looking up when the door opened.
"I think if your throat continues to feel like that, you should get it checked out" Logan's voice says, before both of his partner walked through the door. Logan was the big friendly giant of the couple. With long lanky arms and square glasses with fit with the angles of his face. He had dark hair and big grey eyes, that Roman loved to look at. Especially when he was excited about something.
"You are lecturing the medical student about getting checked out. I just sang for 2 hours straight, I'll be fine by tomorrow," Virgil says, helping his partner over the threshold. Logan's below the knee prosthetic didn't like the thresholds of most of the doors in apartment.
"I'm just saying, you've been complaining about your throat for three days in a row now," Logan says to bassist who rolled his eyes, shutting the door behind him.
Virgil had closer to what Roman affectionately called a ' dad bod' which made the current situation a lot more ironic. Vitiligo left his skin a bit patchy, his skin a mix of patches that were a pale, like the ones under his eyes and others that were a warm tan. He had dark curly hair and green eyes. He also had a quite piercings which made people think he was a lot scarier than he actually was.
"Oh you're up," Logan says, smiling when he saw Roman in the kitchen, an empty notebook in his hands.
"Yeah, was trying to find some crackers," Roman lied as Virgil set down his case.
"Are you still not feeling great?" He asks, his voice much raspier than it had been this morning. It probably was from the fact that he's performed at least 3 times within the last week.
Roman shrugged, setting down the notebook. "It's gotten a bit better. I took a nap at Pat's dorm," Roman says, which wasn't a full lie. He took a nap after he cried his eyes out, while experiencing the many stages of emotions after finding out. (Between so much excitement he nearly puked and intense anxiety)
"If it doesn't get better by Saturday, we are taking you in," Virgil insists, walking over sticking his face in Roman's neck. The young man relaxed into it, smiling more when Logan joined the hug, pressing a kiss to the side of his face.
"I'll take you in sooner if my schedule allows it. Go lay down and I'll make you some soup," Logan says and Roman pouts, resting his face in Logan's shoulder.
"If you lay down, I'll play with your hair," Virgil says and Roman gasps.
"You have to tell me about your gig too. Sorry I missed it," He says and Virgil grinned, squeezing his hands, his eyes filled with worry.
"It's fine. But deal. You have to lay down though," Virgil says, laughing when Roman ran to the couch, grabbing a blanket and curling up. He felt lucky that these were the guys he was hopefully raising a baby with.
This was one lucky child.
Chapter 4

Cw: mentions of nausea, alcohol
Chapter Text
Hi,
To be honest, I don't know if I'm going to be able to keep up with this. I'm quite prone to starting projects and not finishing them. Although it's for you, I'm hoping I can update this as you grow. I found out about you 2 days ago, and I'm writing this before I go out to the bar to celebrate our belated birthday with your uncle.
I know you're like ' Dad you can't drink right now. That can cause a lot of damage'
It feels strange writing this out, you know. I don't know what you'll call me, but hopefully it's something nice. Anyways! I'm not drinking. They sell a really good mocktail I've been craving, so I'll be having that instead. My twin, your Uncle Remus, has been touring Europe, so we are celebrating tonight. Just the two of us. I still have to tell your other dads, so hopefully your uncle won't notice I'm not drinking.(Just turned 21, but I can't drink because of you. which is fine because most alcohol tastes bad anyway)
Anyways, sorry for rambling. Expect a lot of that when you arrive. Unfortunately or fortunately, your other two dads and I are yappers.
Hopefully I'll write to you again.
With lots of Love,
Dad(Or whatever you end up calling me)
Roman sighs, setting down the notebook. He didn't know what made him write it down. He couldn't explain the thought procress behind it either. He was ready to leave about 15 minutes ago, but he didn't want to leave.
"Okay. Probably shouldn't keep him waiting," Roman whispers, smoothing down his white shirt, his hand stopping when he realizes how bloated he is."Wow, we really aren't being subtle with this kiddo," he mutters, swallowing back the nausea, as he heads out the door.
--------
The strong smell of booze and oil nearly made Roman vomit when he walked inside the bar. The walls lined with pictures of people from costume parties. He usually really liked this bar, Virgil's band played here fairly often, so at least it was familar.
"My god, have they been giving you sunlight. You are so pale!" A voice calls behind him and and Roman whirled around, smiling wide. There was very few distinctions that made it easier to tell Remus and Roman apart. The mustache and the streak of gray in his hair from a head injury in elementary school.
He had the same wild hair and tanned skin, although as Remus pointed out, he looked much more well rested than Roman was.
"Oh shut up," Roman teased lightly, pulling his twin into a tight hug. "Ugh I missed you," he says and Remus snorts, patting his back.
"Sap,"
"Vampire, "Remus teased back as he looked around the bar. "Vee's not playing here tonight?" he asks, pointing to the band poster on the corkboard, and Roman shrugged.
"I think he is. His voice was pretty much non-exsistent when I saw him the morning. He's going to get it looked at," Roman says and Remus frowned softly.
"Yikes I didn't realize he was doing singing along with the playing," Remus comments as Roman nods, gesturing to the two shots he had already grabbed. He had already talked to the bartender so he was only given non-alcholic shots.
"Yeah, He hasn't been doing it for very long. Their singer just up and quit so they threw him in," Roman says, freezing when Remus took the wrong shot glass, drinking the non-alcholic drink.
"Wow that actually tastes pretty decent. Are you going to drink yours?" He asks noticing his brothers facial expression.
"Uhhh, no I'm good. You actually drank mine," he says, and Remus makes a face, grabbing the shot.
"I never knew you to be particular with shots. Do you want this one or I can buy you an extra rounds. Because whatever yours was, was good," Remus says and Roman shrugged, smiling a little when the back door opens and one of Virgil's bandmates walks in, holding one of the speakers.
"Ugh, that one actually tastes like alcohol. Was that non-alcoholic?" Remus asks, and Roman paused, still watching the men behind them come in.
"Ro. Is everything okay?" His twin asks, snapping his fingers in front of Roman's face.
"Yeah, it's fine. I just don't feel like drinking much," he says with a shrug. The quicker he could get out of this conversation, the better.
"Are you sick or something. Both of them mentioned you not feeling well... wait, holy shit, are you..." he asks, and Roman clamped his hand over Remus's mouth when Virgil walked in, holding his bass and a speaker as well.
Roman would be lying if he didn't think Virgil looked insanely attractive in the outfit he was wearing, but that was something he could focus on later.
"Shh, Vee doesn't know. Don't you dare fucking say anything. He needs to focus," Roman says, shooting daggers at his brothers who looked like he might explode, before waving at the bassist who grins and starts walking over.
So much for keeping that part a secret.

Cw: Nausea, (non-graphic) description of throwing up, anxiety
Chapter Text
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Roman asks, smiling when Virgil kissed his cheek before waving at Remus, who looked like he was trying to swallow a brick.
"Are you really asking me that?" Virgil asks, his voice scratchy but better than it had been in the last week. Roman smiles, not making too much of a fuss when Virgil felt his forehead, frowning gently.
"Do you feel warm?" He asks and Roman chuckles, gently moving his hand.
"I'm fine, relax. Is your voice okay? Are you cleared to sing, or are you pushing through it? I'll sic Lo on you if you aren't cleared,' Roman threatened, and the heavily pierced man grins. He looked so handsome in the flashing lights. He wanted to tell him so bad, but now definitely wasn't the time for that.
"I'm cleared. I just have to take it easy," he says, turning to Remus, who just waves, the panicked face he had on earlier, dropping it when the man looked at him.
"Heard you fucked up your throat,' Remus teased, and Virgil rolled his eyes, hugging his friend tight. Roman could see Virgil shaking from here; he always got super anxious before gigs.
"I didn't fuck it up. It's just scratchy, you are going to have to tell me about your trip after this okay," he says, pulling out of the hug, moving to run back to the band before Roman grabbed his hand.
"Hey, breathe. You've got this, okay."He says gently, squeezing Virgil's hand and blowing him a kiss before watching him run off.
"You need to explain," Remus's voice reminded him of their previous conversation before Virgil arrived.
"I am. I think it's pretty early. Neither of them knows yet, so please, please don't say anything. I wanted to tell them next," he says, gasping when Remus pulled him into a massive hug.
"I'm so happy for you man," Remus says and Roman grinned, letting out a shaky breath. "How are you feeling,"
"Kind of like I was ran over by a car multiple times, but I'm hoping it gets better once I'm further along," Roman says, relaxing against his brother.
"Ugh, you are going to be such a good dad. Dude Vee and Lo are going to be all over you," Remus says with a laugh as Roman flashed a smile.
"Assuming they aren't mad at me," He says, turning his attention to look up the stage when the band finished setting up.
"My god, dude, of course they won't be mad at you. I've seen the way they both look at you," Remus teased, resting his arm around his brother's shoulder.
-----------
Roman forgot how attractive Virgil was when he sang. He was like a completely different person . He was much more confident, the deep baritone singing voice matched his appearance much more, but it definitely scared people the contrast of his singing voice and how friendly he was when he wasn't performing.
Roman smiled up at him as he performed, his arms wrapped around himself.
"Hey, sorry I'm late," A voice says behind him, and suddenly two warm arms are wrapped around his waist. Roman yelped a little, shocked by the touch, but he relaxed almost immediately when he realized it was just Logan.
"Oh hi, I didn't know you were coming," Roman managed, relaxing into Logan's hold as the sound of their boyfriends base filled the room.
"Class got out early," Logan says over the loud music, and Roman nods, humming along to the music. It was cover night, so almost all of the songs that had been played over the last hour had been popular '90s/early 2000s music.
"Ayyy, I forgot how early classes start for you," Remus says, waving at Logan, who smiles, nodding at him.
"How was Europe?" Logan asks and Remus grinned, holding a thumbs up.
"Good! I'm almost sad to be back," Remus teased lightly, and Roman couldn't have been more relieved that he hadn't mentioned his revelation to Logan or Virgil. The thought of that happening made his stomach turn in a way that he hated.
"Well, we are relieved to have you back. We missed you quite a lot," Logan replied, shouting over the music.
"Yeah, I know. Make sure you're actually giving this one some sunlight next time I leave, okay? He's like a needy house plant," Remus teased, poking Roman, who smiled, a wave of nausea hitting him like a freight train. Maybe the bowl of cereal he had earlier wasn't the greatest idea.
"Believe me, I've been trying," Logan says, pausing when he sees Roman's facial expression."Are you feeling okay?" He asks, frowning more when Roman clasped a hand over his mouth.
"I think I'm going to be sick again, "Roman managed, pushing through the crowd of people as he tried to find the bathroom.
--------
He didn't know how long he had been on the bathroom floor. It was long enough because soon the bathroom door was opening again and there was Virgil, looking concerned.
"What happened?" His scratchy voice asked, and Logan looked up from rubbing Roman's back. Roman hadn't moved from his kneeling position by the toilet
"Threw up," Remus says with a frown.
"Isn't the band still playing?" Logan asked, and Virgil shrugged, sitting down beside his two partners.
"There's a 15 minutes break. I just used it a little early. How are you feeling Ro?" Virgil asks gently, getting a groan in response.
"I'm taking him in, I'll text you with any updates," Logan says, and Roman shakes his head, resting back against the wall. This wasn't how he wanted this to go. The supplies were sitting in a closet at home. He just wanted to surprise them.
"I'm not going in," Roman managed, closing his eyes.
"Yes, you are. This has been going on for weeks now. Whatever this is could be dangerous."Virgil says firmly, sighing when Roman shook his head, his eyes still closed.
"You are in the middle of show right now. I'm not going, it's not dangerous,"He insists, opening his eyes when Logan grabs his hand, his prosthetic squeaking a little when he shifts.
" It is, you've been sick for almost 2 months now. We are figuring out what this is," Logan says, watching Roman put his face in his hands.
"This isn't going to go away, guys. Can we please do this later?" he asks, which turned into the two of them arguing with him for nearly 5 minutes while Remus just sat there, chewing on his nails.
"For the love of God, I'm not sick, I'm pregnant!" Roman practically shouted, the bathroom going dead silent as he slapped a hand to his mouth. Had he really just said that out loud?
Chapter Text
"What?" Logan asks, his eyebrows furrowed together. Roman sat there for a few minutes in the silence.
"I- This wasn't how I wanted to tell you two. I had the stuff at home, " Roman starts to say, all four of them looking up when one of Virgil's bandmates came into the bathroom.
"Dude, you gotta come back on, we can only stall for so long past the break," he says and Virgil opened his mouth, glancing between his partners and then his bandmate.
"We'll talk about this after, I gotta get back," He says, before following after his bandmate.
Roman sniffs, putting his head in his arms, while Logan sat there for a few minutes, before grabbing his hands.
"How are you feeling about it?" He asks, his fingers running gently over Roman's knuckles.
"Mostly scared that you'll hate me," He whispers and Logan smiles.
"I mean I'm in shock, but i could never hate you. The person I love is having our a child, assuming you and Vee want that at the moment," He says, he was so gentle when he said it. The moment Roman made eye contact with him, he burst into tears, all the emotions so he's been holding in the last two or three days just burst out.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so glad you don't hate me," Roman says, hugging his partner tight. Logan pressed a kiss to his head, his hand running up and down his back.
"I want to discuss this more when Vee is done. Because he should involved, but I'm excited. Do you want to stay or do you wanna go home and rest?" He asks and Roman sniffles.
"I want to go home. Sorry Re," He says, wiping his face as Remus scoffed, waving him off.
"Go rest man. Make sure my niece or nephew is getting treated well," He says with a grin, hugging his twin tight." Take it easy okay, call me if you need me,"
"I will dick wad,"
"Good, no go lay down fuck face," Remus says with a snort, following the two out of the bathroom. Virgil was finally getting hooked back up, tapping on the mic, a nervous smile on his face.
"Uh, sorry about the delay..." he says pausing when he made eye contact with Roman, his smile growing when they made eye contact." I just found out I'm about to be a dad, so um yeah, had to take a few minutes to process," He says, blowing a kiss in twins and Logan's directions.
He was happy?
He had been lucky that both of his partners were good with kids, Virgil especially. It made sense why he was thinking about doing pediatrics.
"I told you he wasn't mad," Remus whispers, squeezing Roman's shoulders as he let out a relieved sigh, his hand still holding onto Logan's for dear life.
-----------
The wait for Virgil to be done with the show was honestly torture. Roman was pretty good at doing anything about what was bothering him, which was why he was stress cleaning in the kitchen. So much so that he didn't even notice when Virgil came in.
He and Logan had been standing in the front hall for about 5 minutes, talking quietly before they both walked into the kitchen. "So how do you feel about this?" He asks, leaning on the counter as Roman looked up from the dish he had been scrubbing.
"What?"
"About the baby, being pregnant. How do you feel about it?" Virgil asks and Roman sighs, setting down the brush.
"I mean I'm excited and overwhelmed and terrified. Because what will this do to schooling. I mean I'm lucky enough to not have many classes first semester. But your tour and med school and all those huge labs you have planned. I'd have to stop testosterone and there is the whole feeding things and I want you guys-'
"Hey, hey brain spiral," Virgil says, grabbing Roman's shoulders and squeezing them gently.
"While it effects all three of us, your feelings are going to take priority over hypotheticals right now. Your body is the one that going through these changes. Before we think about any of the schedule changes, living arrangments or anything like that. Do you want to be pregnant? Do you want to have the baby?" Logan says, his big grey eyes looking concerned.
"But it's your baby too,"
"I"m not going to ask you to go through with this, if it isn't something you aren't comfortable with yet or even ever," Virgil says and Logan nod agreeing.
"You guys are going to make me cry," Roman says with a small laugh, he hated how emotional he felt. He wanted to go back to feeling like himself again.
"If you feel like crying love that's perfectly okay," Logan reassures, his plastic foot letting out a soft thunking noise against the wood floor as he moved to stand by his partners.
"I want this baby. I know it's early but-"
"Fuck that I'm in if you are," Virgil interrupts and Roman snorts, looking at Logan who flashed a smile at him, caressing his hand over Roman's cheek.
"I already told you how I felt in the restroom. As long as you and Vee are also okay with this. I'm all in," Logan says and Roman smiles, his eyes watering.
"We are going to be parents,"Roman says, laughing as his two partners tackled him in a big hug, peppering his face in kisses.
Chapter 7
Notes:
Cw: nausea, dizziness, mentions of body image issues, anxiety
Chapter Text
Morning sickness was a lot easier when his partners knew what was happening. Granted, they had always been super supportive, but now he didn't have to argue with them at 4 a.m. about whether or not he should be going to urgent care. Instead, when he spent the early hours of the morning, it was much like this morning, throwing up. They sat there with him. It was quiet and peaceful.
"Would a pillow or blanket help this feel better?" Logan asks, running his fingers through Roman's curls as he lies in his lap, his eyes squeezed shut. The light made him feel nauseous. Everything made him nauseous to be honest.
"Could I get some water?"Roman asks and Virgil nods.
"Yeah, I got it," Virgil says, kissing Roman's knuckles before going to get Roman's water bottle.
"Is it bad that I want this part to be over?" Roman asks, looking up at Logan who offered him a small smile.
"No, I'd be miserable if I were throwing up every hour of the day as well," Logan says, helping Roman slowly sit up, his arm wrapped around Roman's shoulders.
"I got water, crackers, some oranges because I know you were craving those earlier, and oh, I got your leg. I figured that when we eventually move, you might want that," Virgil says, holding up his stuff, both of his partners smiling at him.
"I honestly don't know what I'd do without you,"Roman says as Virgil sits on the other side of him, pressing a kiss to his face.
"How are you feeling?" He asks as Roman rested his face in his knees.
"Horrible," he admitted and the two of them frowned.
"How do you feel about going to the family thing? It is early enough to get out of it,"Logan asks as Roman scoffs
"We can't call your parents at 4 am," Roman managed, leaning into Virgil's warm body.
"We don't have to call them right this moment. But do you want to go. I know we wanted to announce it today," Logan asks and Roman sighs, rubbing his eyes.
"We should. I mean I did tell my parents we'd be there and Vee hasn't seen his mom in months," Roman admits.
"I can go down and see my mom at any point. Worse comes to worse only one of us goes," Virgil says, rubbing Roman's back.
"I want this part over with. I want the lectures about what I'm going to do about school and hormones and everything to be over with. It's better to do it all at once when they are more likely to be in a good mood,"
"Love," Logan says and Roman shook his head
"Please I really don't want to argue about this,"Roman begged, sighing when Logan squeezed his hand gently.
" I'm not arguing love. I want you to understand you aren't alone in telling them,"
"I'd be fine going and telling them if it makes it easier on you," Virgil offers, frowning more when the actor shook his head.
"That would piss them off even more,"
"So? As much as I adore my mom and your guys family. I'm not really concerned about their opinion. At least right now. We've decided this is happening. There really isn't anything they can do about that."
Roman scoffed." You're awfully confident when you aren't a ball of anxiety," he teased lightly, smiling when Virgil kissed his cheek again.
"The ball of anxiety will come later. This is the adrenaline part," Virgil teased lightly.
"Can we just do it together, please?" Roman asks, and then the other two nod.
"As long as your body can handle it. Absolutely. Do you want to head back to bed?" Logan asks, and Roman nods, standing up slowly. It had been the first time since he woke up this morning that he stood without nausea or dizziness.
"You feel okay?" Logan asks, and Roman nods, helping him steady himself after he put on his proesthetic.
"I feel better. I will take that orange, that sounds really good right now,"Roman says, smiling at the nurse who tosses it to him.
------------
"Is it too late to back to back out?" Roman asks as they pulled into his parents drive way. Everyone else had already arrived before them(Thank you morning sickness)
"I believe it is my dear," Logan says from the drivers seat, as Virgil reached over and squeezed his hand.
"Relax princey. It's okay,"
"It is really weird being the anxious one in this. Like how are you so calm?" Roman asks with a small laugh.
"I'm not," Virgil says, showing his free hand, which was trembling. Logan frowned pulling the car into park.
"No matter how this goes. We've got each other. Remus will also be there and we all know he's not afraid to throw hands," Logan says and Roman laughs, rubbing his eyes a little.
"I'm a little worried he'll throw hands either way. Hopefully the outfit doesn't give it away that quickly," Roman say. He was still getting used to his new body. It wasn't bad nesscarily, but he definetly wasn't used to the change.
"I think it'll be okay," Virgil says, waiting for the other two get out of the car before they started to walk up towards the house.
"I hope your mom greets us, I'm not even worried about her finding out," Roman admits and Virgil laughs.
"At least that makes one of us," Virgil and his mother were extremely close. His father wasn't in the picture so it was just the two of them. She was an absolute sweetheart.
"You're mother is the nicest woman I've ever met," Logan says, reaching out to open the door although Virgil's mom beat him too it. She had a wide grin on her face. Her long graying hair was pulling into a thick braid. Asides from the peircings and tattoos, the two looked identical.
"Speak of the devil," Virgil says, smiling when his mother hugged her son tightly.
"It's so good to see you,"

Chapter Text
Roman smiles, watching Virgil's mom, Veronica squeeze her son tightly."Are you feeling okay kiddo? You're shaking," She says, and Virgil forced a smile.
"Yeah, just a long shift before this, I'm really tired," He admits, which wasn't fully a lie. Prior to their whole cuddle/emotional support sesh in the bathroom earlier that morning, Virgil had been working.
"You are such a stubborn man. You can come see us any time, don't tucker yourself out," She teased lightly as Virgil laughed, absent-mindedly tracing his finger around the spider webs on his hand.
"Get it from my mom," He reminds her, and she smiles, ruffling his hair before turning to Roman and Logan, frowning even more when she makes eye contact with the actor.
"Roman, honey, are you feeling okay? I mean, Vee told me you had been under the weather, but you look like you may collapse," She says, moving to put her hand to Roman's forehead. The young man offers her a small smile.
"I'm okay Veronica. Both of them had been taking such good care of me, " He says as she continued to check him over. The medical degrees ran in the family, apparently.
"Okay, and you, Mister, how are you doing?" She asks, looking at Logan, who offers a small smile.
"Perfectly fine, Veronica, I appreciate the concern. Both of them will go straight to bed after this," Logan says and Virgil rolled his eyes.
"You sound like Roman's father," he teased, looking up when the twins father's booming voice came from inside the house.
"Ronnie, let them inside. If you keep yapping out there, the sun is going to set." He teased, and Roman laughed, reaching for Logan's hand, squeezing it slightly. Both of them could tell Virgil was starting to get anxious, the tracing of his tattoo, the visble shaking, even the way he spoke. Neither of them could confront it without giving away why.
"Alright, alright, give me a sec, Paul," Veronica calls, rolling her eyes as she turns back to her son, who is starting to space out a little." He's just mad you all like me better," She teased before stepping aside to let the three of them through.
For the brief second the three had to themselves, Roman grabbed Virgil's hand."Are you okay?" He asks, and Virgil nods, breathing in deeply before slipping off his shoes.
"Adrenaline is wearing off," he says refrencing his jokes from earlier.
"If at any point you need to tap out, let us know. Neither of us will be upset," Logan says, quietly enough that rest of the group could hear them.
"I'm not leaving that on you guys," Virgil says, before walking into the living room, where most of their family sat. The three of them had been friends longer than most of them had been alive, and they didn't really understand polyamory, but they did try their best.
"Ooh, look at you three," Samantha cooed, turning from the conversation she had been having with Logan's mother to look at the three young men. Roman grins, swallowing the anxiety and possible nausea that was rising in his throat.
"Hi ma," Roman says, smiling when she hugged him tight, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
"Did you do something to your skin, you're glowing mijo," She says and Roman laughs, looking from Virgil and Logan to Remus who was quietly drinking from a glass of whiskey.
"I haven't but thanks, I'm honored," He says with a grin. He wanted this to be over with already.
--------
"You three have been pretty quiet," Paul says as Roman looked up from his plate of food that he had barely touched.
"Yeah, Roman you're usually the life of the party" Sandra, Logan's mother points out, adjusting the angular glasses that sat on her face.
"Yeah come on party animal," Paul teased, nudging Roman's shoulder as he swallows hard, trying to relax when he felt Virgil's hand on his thigh.
"Just thought you'd be all over Remus considering he's been gone for the last nine months," Roman points out, eyeing his twin who hadn't seemed to catch on that he wasn't ready to talk about what was up.
"He's been around a lot more than you have sweetheart, we've already asked him," Samantha says as Veronica stood up, grabbing her plate."Is everything okay with school?" She asks as Logan glances as Roman who takes a deep breath setting down his fork.
"Everything is fine with school,"
"Okay, is everything okay with you three? No one better be dying," Paul says with a small chuckle as Logan nods.
"Everything is perfectly fine with us," Logan says, looking from Roman to Virgil as if to silently ask if this was when they were going to reveal it.
"Okay than why are y'all so quiet, I'm not convinced its just because you are tired, does it have something to do with you being under the weather?" Samantha asks as Roman sighs, putting his head in hands.
"Ma ease up please,"Remus says, setting down his own glass.
"No, I have every right to be worried. You've been closed off and sick for a while and I want to know if someone is wrong with my son" She snaps, her eyebrows creased as she turned her concerned gaze to Roman. So much was happening, he just wished just once that they could reveal it in a slightly less stressful way.
"We are having a baby. I'm pregnant, that's why I've been so damn distant," Roman cries, his head snapping up when there was a crash from the kitchen, which was the result of Veronica passing out and hitting the floor. Whether it was from the news or something else altogether Roman didn't know yet.
"Veronica?" Sandra and Samantha say as Virgil shot out of their chair before any of them could even move.
"Mom!" Virgil says, disappearing behind the counter, kneeling down beside her unconscious body. Out of everything he had thought would've happened from announcing it like that, Virgil's mother fainting definitely wasn't it.

Chapter Text
Roman slowly stood as Logan frowned."Vee is she okay?" Logan asks which gathered no response.
"You're what?" Samantha asks, glancing back from her friend in the kitchen then to her son who stood in front of her.
"Not now ma," Roman says, waving her off, before grabbing his water and walking into the kitchen. Virgil was on his knees propping on his mom who was starting to wake up.
"Hey, hey are you okay?" Virgil asks, his hands resting on his shoulder as he glanced at everyone gathered in the kitchen." Back up," He says, the tone a little harsher than he probably meant.
"Ugh, I think I'll save the dramatics for someone else next time," Veronica mutters, pressing her hand to her forehead as Virgil grabbed her free hand, checking her pulse.
"How are we on fo- Is everything alright in here?" Anothy calls, pulling open the sliding porch door, a tray full of burgers and hottdogs in his hands. Roman had forgotten he was even outside.
"Everything is fine, we just got some news and I took a tumble," Veronica says, chuckling softly as Virgil squeezed her hand.
"Stop moving, please. Is your blood sugar low? Have you checked your glucose lately?" He asks, looking around for Veronica's glucose monitor. Roman took a deep breath, reaching for Logan's hand as Sandra handed Virgil the small velcro pouch that held all of Veronica's diabetic stuff. How horrible was it that he forgot that she even had diabetes? He really wished he hadn't said it the way he had; maybe this wouldn't have happened.
"News?" Anthony asks, crossing his arms." Is everyone okay?" he asks, glancing at Logan just gave a small nod.
"They are having a baby," Sandra says, she didn't sound angry, but she was so monotone to begin with that it was hard to tell with her.
"Wait who? How did that work out?" Anthony asks, and Virgil sighs, his hands shaking slightly as he tries to ignore everyone, more worried about his mom collapsing than everyone else's confusion. Roman doesn't blame him; he is honestly tempted to help out, but he doesn't want to stress out the poor guy further.
"Alright, everyone who wants to discuss the news just go in the living room. Don't crowd in here," Virgil says not looking up from the monitor in his hand. Remus frowned, squeezing Virgil's shoulder when no one moved." Please, we'll both be out in a few minutes," He says, offering a small smile to both of his partners before looking back at his mom who was slowly regaining color in her face.
"Do you want either of us to stay in here with you?" Logan asks and Virgil shook his head, breathing in deeply.
"No, can you guys just handle that while I take care of this?"
"I can help in here," Remus offers and Roman nods.
"Sorry,"
"You're fine sweetheart, I just forgot to check my sugar earlier, not your fault. I'm happy for you three," Veronica says and Roman smiles, at least one of them was happy about it, he hoped he could say the same about the rest of them.
"Let us know if you need anything," Logan says, before grabbing Roman's hand before walking into the living room.
"So what happened?" Anthony asks, turning to his son who wrapped his arm around Roman's shoulder.
"The three of us are having a baby. Roman is pregnant. We have a card and stuff to present to you, but to be honest none of us were really expecting the slew of questions," Logan says, looking down at Roman. God he was so grateful Logan was there.
"But you are on T," Paul says and Roman nods, breathing in deeply.
"T stops my cycle, it doesn't prevent me from getting pregnant," He explained, he could tell that his mother had some thoughts and from the look Logan's parents were sharing they didn't really understand.
"Who is the father? Do you even know who the father is?" Sandra asks, eyeing Logan before looking into the kitchen. Virgil's hand was raised from behind the counter. Roman tried hard not to laugh at that.
"The baby is biologically mine and Vee's, but that doesn't mean Lo isn't any less of this baby's father. The plan is-"
"This was planned?" Samantha asks, her voice coming off a little harsh, although she quieted down when Paul squeezed her shoulder, his other hand stroking his beard.
"No. It was a suprise for all three of us," Logan says before continuing." But what he was trying to say was that we will be renting out a house that'll be suitable for the four of us. We have fincial situation figured out and we are working out things with Roman's doctor,"
"What about school? You just got that internship,"Sandra says, her arms crossed. Yeah she didn't looked pleased by this.
"I will continue with my intership. The baby won't effect that," Logan says, looking up when the other three joined them.
" Aren't you touring through January? Are you leaving them to take care of the baby by themselves? This all feels so reckless," Samantha asks Virgil, who just stared at her for a few seconds.
"It's December and no. Ro's not due till February. "
"Mom, don't speak to him like that," Remus says, crossing his arms as Veronica sat down on the couch, a cup of apple juice in her hand.
"I'm sorry I'm just struggling to get behind this. I'm happy but I don't understand how you two could be so reckless. None of you have graduated. Did you know?" She says, looking at Remus who nods.
"Yeah, and surprisingly, I'm having a better reaction than you guys. Don't act like we were planned or that you had your shit figured out when we came into the picture," Remus says, going quiet when Roman held out his hand.
"Mom, I'm a consenting adult. It's not like that wasn't involved. Just because it wasn't expected doesn't mean we don't have things figured out. I'm early in the pregnancy, so we have time to figure out plans. We move around the time school starts."
"I understand that, sweetheart. I know you three are capable, I just think it's irresponsible to trap Logan in this without talking about it. I expected way better from the three of you, especially you, Roman," She says, which set off all three of them.
"I am not an animal, nor am I trapped. I want this as well," Logan says as Roman takes a deep breath, trying hard not to throw up. This was all so much. His mom was much more traditional than the rest of his family. Out of everyone, she definitely struggled the most to understand both of her sons being under the queer umbrella.
"Sam, that's not what's happening," Veronica says, and Samantha sighs, looking at her husband for any type of support.
"We did talk about it. That's all we've talked about for the last week. You can't pressure someone into saying something, even if it's meant well, and then get mad when they aren't given a chance to explain fully. I understand this is all said with love, but what you are saying is wildly inappropriate."Virgil says, rubbing Roman's back gently, his hands were trembling.
"I don't think that's the intention with what's being said here," Sandra says, glancing between her friends and then her son.
"Intention and action are two very different things." Anthony reminds his wife that at least he had a level head in this, although it was kind of hard to tell if whatever he was feeling was positive or negative.
"If you have questions myself or Virgil would be willing to sit down have a conversation when emotions are less... tense, but I suggest we all take a breather,"Logan says, glancing at Roman who, put his hand to his mouth.
"I think I need to go, "Roman mutters, blood roaring in his ears as he tries to steady his breathing.
"You okay kiddo?" Paul asks and Roman waved them off.
"It's fine. It's fine. I- I shouldn't have revealed it like that. I- ooh, I need to leave," he declares, grabbing his bag before rushing towards the front door. He couldn't stay in there; telling them all at once was such a bad idea. He could hear a mix of Remus and Veronica lecturing, mostly his mother, for the words that came from her mouth.
Why on earth did he think this was a good idea?
Chapter 10

Cw: mentions of throwing up, nausea, anxiety
Chapter Text
The car ride home was hard. They hadn't even said anything on the way home, but the feelings were overwhelming enough to make him want to throw up. The three of them just silently agreed to wait to speak about it till all three of them were feeling up for it.
Neither of them was mad, at least that's what they said, but honestly, Roman was too tired to even overthink it. When Roman awoke, he was alone in their bed, the door closed, and the curtains drawn shut.
Roman sighs, brushing the hair out of his eyes before he looks around. " Ugh, that could've gone so much better," He mutters, before opening the bedside drawer and grabbing the notebook he had been using to write to their baby.
Hi,
I guess I'm continuing to do this. Today was bad. I mean, like, really bad, and for once, it wasn't because I was throwing up. Thank you, by the way, loved throwing up into the bush by our porch. We told our family about you today, and it didn't go well. I mean, one of your fathers, mothers; your grandma fainted. God distinguishing which grandparent is which is going to be difficult.
I mean, I hope she's okay now. It sounds like she actually fell, not fainted. And then my mom and your other father's mom were probably worse about it. I won't go into details because I might cry if I do( I know, I know, that's all I'm doing at this stage, again, thank you for that), but honestly, once things calm down, I'll talk to them both. This is happening, and I'm excited. I'm excited to see what you do and don't like and one of those likes better be theatre otherwise might have some problems.
Just kidding, but I think you get my point.
With lots of love,
Dad.
The knock on the door pulled Roman out of his thoughts. He looked up to see Virgil standing there with several fluffy blankets and a small ball of yarn for crocheting; a hobby Patton had managed to teach their entire friend group except Logan.
"I've been banished to the bedroom," The emo man declares, and Roman laughs, smiling when Virgil leaped onto the mattress. Roman could tell he was stressed although he wasn't feeling much better himself. Neither was Logan if he banned them both to the bedroom.
"What's he stress cooking this time?" Roman asks and Virgil sighs.
"Soup, wanted to make something that would be easy on your stomach," Virgil says, pressing a kiss to his forehead as Roman curled up in his arms.
"If he can find something that doesn't immediately come back up, I'll consider it a miracle," He mutters, the two of them falling silent aside from the sound of the pots cluttering in the kitchen. Logan often cooked when he was stressed out; it was his not-so-healthy coping mechanism.
"We should probably stop him," Roman says and Virgil sighs, covering his face with his hands.
"He said if I go back out there before he comes out food, he said he was going to toss his leg at me,"
Roman laughs, shaking his head fondly."I feel like he shouldn't be able to threaten us like that with taking off his leg," He says, frowning he saw how much Virgil's hands were shaking. "Hey, breathe," Roman says, taking his hands and squeezing them gently.
"I am," Virgil says, squeezing his hand back, his eyes still staring up at the ceiling. "I'm sorry for how I spoke earlier," Virgil says soon after not making eye contact with his partner who just looked confused.
"What on earth are you talking about storm cloud,"
"I snapped at you both when mom fell, I'm sorry."
"You're kidding, right? This is the part where you say you are kidding."Roman asks, laughing a little as Virgil turned on his side shaking his head." Vee your mom fainted. All of us were incredibly stressed out, honestly you could've spoke to me the way my mom did and I still wouldn't be mad,"He says and Virgil sat up.
"Ro,"
"It's fine. I- I shouldn't have said that way I did. She wouldn't have gone after you about the tour and she wouldn't have said that about Logan. She just does that when she's shocked,"Roman says breathing in deeply trying not to send himself in a panic.
"I might postpone the tour," The young man blurts, looking up when Logan opened the door, holding three bowls of soup and a thing of crackers on a small tray.
"I beg your pardon," Logan asks, flipping on the light, the two of them staring at the nurse.
"Yeah, repeat that. I'm hoping I heard that wrong," Roman says and Virgil sighs, staring at his hands.
"I think I'm going to postpone the tour or maybe just not go," Virgil admits.
Chapter Text
" No you heard me correctly," Virgil confirms as Logan sets down the food, looking at Roman, who was just as confused.
"Why? You were cleared, is your throat still bothering you?" Logan asks and Virgil shrugged.
"A little, but the conversation today, Ro's mom was right,"
"A sentence that is almost never correct. Vee you've worked your ass off for this, you deserve this, just as much as Lo does with his internship. Both of you worked your asses off for this," Roman says, resting his hand on Virgil's shoulder as Logan sat beside the two of them, pressing a kiss to Virgil's temple.
"You are in no way abandoning us by going. The way Roman's mother reacted does not reflect how either of us feel about you going on tour,"Logan says and Roman nods, squeezing Virgil's hand.
"If what's stopping you is your throat, I think it would be good to get a second opinion. If your fear is that I'm going to be mad at you for following a passion of yours since you were little and overcoming your anxiety just because I will be closer to my due date. Throw that idea out the window," Roman says, smiling softly when Virgil reached out, placing his hand on Roman's stomach.
Virgil laughs as Roman mimed balling up the bad thought before pretending into the garbage can. Logan chuckled shaking his head fondly, before turning back to Virgil.
"What he said, minus the air basketball,"
"Hey I had a pretty good aim," Roman retorts, smiling as Virgil wiped his face.
"Ugh, sorry," Virgil says, breathing in deeply as Logan rubbed his back.
"It's alright. Do you wish to discuss the tour more?" He asks and Virgil shook his head, flopping back on the bed, looking apologetic at the face Roman made at the movement.
"Sorry," He says and Roman waves him off.
"It's all good," Roman says a small smile, reaching over and grabbing Virgil's hand gently. Physically he felt pretty okay, but the words 'it's irresponsible to trap Logan in this without talking about it' replayed in his head over and over again.
"You don't feel trapped do you Lo?" Roman blurts, and the scientist looks around, looking beyond confused.
"No, despite the small room, I believe it is quite spacious. I look forward to our new place though," Logan admits and Virgil sighs, shaking his head while Roman bit his lip.
"That's not what he means specs."Virgil says in a gentle tone, he knew exactly why Roman asked this.
"In our relationship?" Logan asks and Roman nods, trying his best not to start crying, he knew what the answer was, but his hormones were getting the best of him.
"What, no. Is this about what your mother said about the baby? My love I iniated our relationship. While it is also a fault of mine I will tell you if I ever don't want something. Just because I lack sexual desire doesn't mean I'm going to control what you and Vee do. Unless it's a safety thing, but you know what I mean," Logan says and Roman wiped at his face, feeling the tears hit before he could do much to stop it.
Logan scooched forward, resting his hands on Roman's face."My love, you have done nothing of the sort that would make me feel trap. Asides from the time you gave me that sweater that was too small" Logan says and Roman starts to laugh, wiping his face as Virgil rested his head on Roman's shoulder, his arm wrapped around his waist. "I'm in love with the life I have been given so far. I'm excited to show our little one the wonders of this messy little family and the potentials our worlds have. I wouldn't have it any other way,"
Roman sniffes wiping his face as he tried to stop crying." You're such a sap," he says and Logan grins, kissing his face.
"As to which I feel no shame for,"
--------
Later that night after everything had calmed down, the three lay in there room a movie playing in the background. Roman was pretty sure Virgil was asleep and Logan was definetly getting there. Roman shifted slowly being careful not to make up the nurse who had a shift in less than 6 hours.
"You alright?" Logan asks and Roman nods, rubbing his eyes.
"Yeah, back is just sore," He admits, pausing when his phone dinged. It was from his dad.
"Do you want me to look at it?' Logan whispers and Roman shook his head opening up the text.
'Hey Kiddo. Sorry about how earlier today went. Ma's still pretty upset but I hope you know she'll come around too. I'm so proud of you. If you ever need anything especially with that big move of yours. Let me know. Hope you don't hate us too much.
Dad'
Roman smiles at the text. His dad always signed off text messages like they were letters, which he though was beyond sweet.
'Thanks dad. I'll take to mom later. I love you,'
'Love you too kiddo, get some rest'
'I will,'
Roman hoped he was right. She'd have to come around eventually.
Chapter Text
His mother didn't speak to him for the next two months. Well, there were conversations, but those somehow ended worse than the one they had when they originally announced his pregnancy.
But it wasn't like they had time worry about that. Between moving, the start of school, tech week and Virgil being in and out of the house due to the tour. He was busy.
Speaking of moving. Tonight was there first night in the new house. His dad had been helping Logan and Remus move stuff in all day while Virgil was traveling back from Tampa to take the next few days off. Roman hadn't been home since 6 am, having had classes than doctor appointments for the baby and then tech rehersal. Something hard enough without being pregnant.
"Are you sure you don't want me to help?" Patton asks as he pulled down Roman's street. It was weird to think that he wouldn't be going back to that small apartment that had housed the three of them for the last year.
"No we've got enough people Pat. Go home and rest," Roman says with a small tired smile. He swore he could see his brother standing out in the driveway. The moving truck was nowhere to be found.
"Ooh that can't be good," Patton says and Roman frowned when he realized his twin was definetly standing there.
"Please don't say those words," Roman mutters, unbuckling his seatbelt before getting out of the car.
"Heyyyy brother of mineee," Remus says, and Roman already knew something was wrong. Remus never spoke like that.
"What did you do? Who got hurt?" Roman asks, his hand resting on his bump as Remus glanced at Patton then back at the house.
"No one got hurt, and I didn't do anything per se," Remus says, and Roman sighs, rubbing his face tiredly.
"Remus. I adore you, but I'm exhausted. Please, I just want to sit on my couch and eat shitty takeout food."
"Well you can do at least one of those things. The other one is going to have wait a week," Remus says, looking back when their front door opened and Paul came out and then Logan who was leaning on his father in law, his prosthetic missing.
"Where did your leg go?" Roman asks, knowing that Logan typically didn't like moving around without it.
"We hired movers," Paul says and Roman raised an eyebrow.
"You did what? What does this have to do with your leg?Can we do this inside, please?" he asks, and Logan sighs.
"Paul was kind enough to hire movers for us. Those movers were given the wrong address and are now... out of state," Logan says, frowning as they waited for Roman's reaction.
Out of state? All of his stuff was out of state? Their bed, couch, TV, and all of their cooking stuff. Was out of state. Did that mean Logan's leg was out of state as well?
Roman let out a small laugh, running his hand through his hair as he just stared at them in awe. He wasn't even mad; he was just so tired he didn't know how else to react. "My love?" Logan asks as Roman breathed in deeply, covering his mouth with his hand.
"I need you to say you're kidding," Roman says, and Remus frowned.
"Roman he isn't,"
"What are we going to do? Vee's going to be getting home anytime now. Where are we sleeping? How are you going to get around? When is the truck getting back, and can I have their phone number because there is no way we are paying them for a mistake like that?"
"Why don't we wait till you calm down a bit, kiddo. You're looking a little red," Paul says. The really wonderful thing about pregnancy hormones was the ups and downs of it. And by fun, he meant it with the heaviest of sarcasm.
"Trying to be calm when you've been poked and prodded all day, and after a really, really long day of standing you want to sit down and relax. Oh but I can't because of all of my stuff is out of state for the next week!" Roman cries, arms crossed.
"Told ya it wouldn't go well," Remus mutters, looking back at his dad.
"Can you blame me for being upset by this?" Roman asks, an eyebrow raised.
"No, trust me. I'm angry about it too. But lets give you a second to actually relax and sit down because you look exhausted," Logan says, waving him inside.
"I can stay with you guys if you need," Patton offers and Logan shook his head.
"Go home, you look just as tired. Tell Janus I say hello," Logan says, pulling Roman into a hug when he got close enough. Roman pressed his face in Logan's chest, just letting himself relax.
"Please tell me you warned Vee about this," Roman mutters, both of them jumping when their partner's voice says.
"Warn me about what?"
