Chapter 1: Chapter One

Chapter Text

Somewhere off in America, lives a 26-year-old girl. She goes by the name Rosie. She has strawberry blonde hair and bright green eyes.
Rosie currently lives with her best friend, Kaiden. They have been besties for many years, but they are complete opposites. Rosie is into K-pop, while Kaiden is into musicals. Rosie has been trying to get Kaiden into K-pop for a while. Rosie is only into one band, though, and that’s Stray Kids!

Rosie has tickets to their concert tonight! She is very excited because Kadien is going with her! “Thank you for coming with me,” Rosie says as they finally get to their seats. “Well, someone needed to drive, since you can’t yet,” Kaiden grumbled as he sat down. Rosie giggled and looked up at the stage.

They had seats just outside the pit. Stray Kids would still be close enough to be able to see her sign. ‘Hi guys! You’re doing great! Thank you for coming to PA’ is what her sign says. “You really wrote ‘Thank you’ to them? You are helpless!” Kaiden muttered as he wondered what went through his bestie's brain. “Of course! I’d rather say something humble than say something about my bias.” Rosie said back as she sat down. “20 more minutes till the show starts,” Rosie mutters with glee as she starts to fidget in her seat. Kaiden sighs and puts in his headphones

Soon, Stray Kids' intro music starts, and Rosie couldn’t contain her screams anymore. “I regret saying yes to this already, “ Kaiden sighs, covering his ears. “I wonder what songs they’ll sing tonight,” Rosie says with glee as she ignores her best friend. Kaiden just rolls his eyes even though he’s happy for her. Rosie has been saving for this for 3 whole years. Now that it’s happening, she couldn’t believe it.

She held up her sign as the music to ‘Thunderous’ started. The curtain soon drops, and there they are. Stray Kids in the flesh. Rosie freezes for a second before looking at Kaiden. She feels this pull inside her heart. She’s only read something about it a million times. Childhood stories about soulmates. But those are just fairytales, right?

“Kaiden, I think I found my soulmate,” Rosie says, staring at the stage again. “What? Soulmates are just fairytales, Ro,” Kaiden downcasted. “Why do I feel strange, though? Like I’m nervous when I’m not.” “You’re seeing your favorite idols? I don’t know Ro,” he mutters. “If I were at a meet and greet, sure… but I’m feeling nervous because I feel like I’m on stage. Which is weird to me…” she muttered back. “Our parents did say that the fairytales mentioned about soulmates feeling each other’s emotions, once they lock eyes for the first time.”

“Oh my god… My soulmate is a member of Stray Kids,” Rosie gasped as she turned away from the stage. “How are you sure though, which one?” “I don’t know Kaiden… I wonder if they even realize it yet?” Rosie said as ‘God’s Menu’ starts. “If you feel it, I’m sure they do too,” Kaiden says, patting his friend's shoulder. “I guess I’m going to have to figure out who. Shall I play with my emotions to see?” she giggled. “Don’t do that to the poor guy… Just.. I don’t know, add to your sign?” “Good idea, they pray to get attention,” Rosie states with a marker in her hand. Kaiden just shook his head at her.

Chapter 2: Chapter Two

Chapter Text

Rosie finished her sign right as Stray Kids walked off to change. “I’m so confused, Kaiden! Which one could it be?” Rosie whispered to Kaiden. “Ro, relax please. Any one of those guys are lucky. They are going to have a great soulmate!” Kaiden says, trying to hype and calm Rosie. “You’re right! I hope I get noticed…” Rosie mumbled.

*Stray Kids*

“Chan hyung?” Seungmin questions his leader as they quickly change. “Yes, Minnie?” Chan responds. “I feel weird. Like sad, worried, but hopeful. I’m so confused,” he explained to his leader. “Did you feel a pull on your heart or something?” Chan asked gently, thinking about something. “Yeah, I guess. I saw a girl holding a sign saying ‘Thank you for coming to PA’ right before I felt like this,” Seumgmin explains.

Chan put a hand on Seungmin’s shoulder. Chan doesn’t know how to tell one of his manakes that he just met his soulmate. “Did your parents ever tell you fairtales about soulmates?” Chan asked. “Of course - I just - Oh! Do you? Hyung! Do you really?” Seungmin exclaimed to Chan. “It’s possible, Minnie. Maybe you can meet her at the Meet and Greet?” Chan said, trying to sound hopeful.

Seungmin just stared at Chan. Before he could speak again, they were being ushered back to the stage. Seungmin is unsure about a lot of things right now. He stares out into the stands in the direction of the girl holding that cute sign. Unsure if he wants to meet them.

*Rosie*

I can feel him. I watch the members closely. Seungmin and Chan are the only ones who lingered on our side of the arena. Rosie lets out a sigh as she feels confused. Her soulmate is either Chan or Seungmin. One of them is feeling unsure about something. Most likely about her.

Kaiden can feel her mood shift. “Relax Ro. Enjoy the concert,” He urges. Rosie sighed and nodded her head. “Kai, he feels unsure. I don’t think he wants to meet me,” she muttered. Rosie can feel tears prick her eyes. She casts her eyes down to the floor, praying Kaiden wouldn’t notice. “It’s okay, Ro. Control your emotions. He can feel that you're upset. Remember, he’s an idol, he might be worried,” Kaiden says, rubbing her shoulder.

Rosie looks up to the stage as she hears a voice crack through the mic. Seungmin was singing his lines when his voice cracked. Rosie stares at him; she can see he’s uncomfortable. It’s Seungmin?! Is Seungmin her soulmate? As if he could sense her stare from her seat, he turned his face to stare back. Rosie’s eyes flicked to the screen, zoomed in on him. Seungmin’s eyes are glossy and unsure. Rosie looked back at him on stage before calming her emotions. “I’m sorry,” she mouthed before looking away.

“Ro?” Kaiden eazed. Kaiden pulled Rosie into a hug and sat down. How the other fans haven’t noticed is beyond him, but that’s the least of his problems. His best friend found her soulmate, and now she’s got to face a major struggle. Kaiden looked at the stage and said to himself… “I understand your mindset, but she’s your person.”

Rosie sighed thinking, ‘Tag your it, Minnie.’

Chapter 3: Chapter Three

Summary:

This chapter is Seungmin's P.O.V.

Chapter Text

As the concert was ending, Seungmin looked out into the crowd, smiling as he waved goodbye with the others. Once they were all backstage, Seungmin finally let out a shaky breath that he was holding in. This concert was the hardest one, so many different emotions were felt tonight. He doesn’t know what to do now that he’s found his soulmate. Does he want to meet them? Does he want to ignore them?

Seungmin lets out a sigh as he falls onto the couch next to Felix. “Okay Minnie?” Felix questions him. “Yeah, just tired hyung,” Seungmin answered as he turned to Felix. Felix gave him a look as if he didn’t believe him, before turning and talking to I.N. Seungmin turned his head to find Chan looking at him. Chan nodded his head to the door and got up.

Seungmin followed him out, ignoring the other staring as Chan stood at the end of the hall waiting. “How are you feeling? I saw her in the crowd. She seemed upset, Minnie.” Chan asked as soon as I was in front of him. “Hyung… I know she’s upset… I don’t know if I want to meet her, though,” Seungmin confessed, looking down at his shoes. “Seung, no one will force you to meet her if you’re not ready. But I hope you’re at least happy to know that you have a soulmate. That’s soulmate.” Chan said with a pat on Seungmin’s back.

“I know it’s rare and I’m kinda happy that I have a soulmate, but I’m scared.” “Hey! It’s okay to be scared, Minnie.” Chan says, trying to comfort the young boy. “Chan, what if she comes to the Meet and Greet tomorrow?” Seungmin worries. “Hey! One step at a time. If she comes, then we will figure it out. If not then… I don’t know. Just relax, okay? Let’s head to the hotel and get some rest for tomorrow.” Chan says, guiding Seungmin back to the green room.

Everyone looked up when they walked back in. No one said anything, just waited for Chan to say something. Chan told everyone to pack up so they could head to the hotel since tomorrow was going to be a long day. Everyone slowly piles into the vans. Seungmin climbed into the last one to only find he was with Changbin and Hyunjin. He sighs as he sits down. “Everything okay, Min?” Changbin asked. “Yes, Binnie hyung. I’m just tired tonight.”

“Oh, we can tell, but there’s something else to right? That only you and Chan hyung know,” Hyunjin states from the back. “I don’t wanna talk about it,” Seungmin sighs as he turns to look out the window. Hyunjin huffs out an annoyed breath and turns to Changbin. They start talking about all the signs that Stays made for the concert. When they mention a sign about ‘Thanking them for coming to PA, ’ Seungmin jolts his head back to them.

“You guys saw her, too?” he questioned his hyungs. “Of course! Her sign was well-made and humble. When we were in the carts, we even waved to the girl,” Changbin said, looking surprised at him. “She’s so pretty also! Though she seemed upset. You did too, to be honest… Do you know her somehow?”Hyunjin asked, looking at Seungmin with suspicious eyes. Seungmin rolled his eyes before saying, “No, maybe she’s upset because her bias didn’t look at her.”

“Minnie, everyone but you looked at her when we were in the carts,” Changbin stated as the van pulled up to the hotel. Seungmin was the first out. He ran to the elevator in hopes that he could beat everyone upstairs. Lucky for him, he succeeded. He rushed to his room, praying no one else would bother him tonight.

He sighed as he got around for a shower. The shower helped calm him a bit, but not fully. He slides into bed, hoping that his soulmate doesn't show up tomorrow. It’s better this way, right?

Chapter 4: Chapter Four

Notes:

Happy Birthday, fellow STAY!!!

Chapter Text

The morning after the concert was hard on Rosie. She didn’t know what to do now that she has a soulmate. A Korean Idol is her soulmate! Kim Seungmin, a member of the biggest K-pop group out there, no less! Rosie isn’t too sure what to do now. She has a ticket for her and Kaiden to go to the Meet and Greet today.

“Get up Ro! We’re going, and you’re at least going to say hello to the guy,” Kaiden said as if reading her mind. “Easier said than done, Kai,” Rosie sighed, rolling out of her bed. “Get dressed, please,” Kaiden pleads.

“Fine… But I’m not going to push anything with him.”Rosie says as she grabs the outfit she had out three days ago, ready for today. “I’ll be in the car,” Kaiden calls as he walks out the door. Rosie rushes to get around, making sure she has everything before stepping out of her apartment.

*Meet and Greet*

After standing in the long line for an hour, Rosie and Kaiden made it through the door. Sitting before her was her favorite K-pop band and her soulmate. Rosie is slowly starting to freak out.

“What if he ignores me?” Rosie mumbles out as she tries to stop her hand from shaking. “Ro! Hey, look at me! It’s okay.” Kaiden says, trying and failing at comfort.

A loud gasp is heard throughout the building, and soon, loud footsteps. Kaiden grabs Rosie and tugs her into his side. Soon, two faces appear. Kaiden sighs as Rosie is still panicking. “Is she okay?” One of the guys asks. “She’ll be okay, sir. Large groups in small places bother her, but she wants to meet the band.” Kaiden lies to the men.

They both seem not convinced enough. Rosie seems to slightly calm down to their voices. “Kaiden, it’s okay. I’ll be okay,” Rosie says quietly, slowly pulling away. Rosie lifts her head to see the two men. It’s Changbin and Bang Chan. She’s shocked to even see them. Bang Chan seems to recognize her as well. “Well, if you’re okay, we will continue with the Meet and Greet,” Changbin said softly as he and Bang Chan started walking back,

“Oh my god… I forgot Seungmin can feel my emotions… I hope he’s okay.” Rosie panics again. Kaiden sighs as he tries to calm her down again. “It’s okay, Ro!”

*Seungmin*

She’s here! I can tell by her emotions. I can feel her panicking. “Hi Bang Chan! Um, I just wanted to say hi, and um, there’s a girl near the door having a panic attack,” a random girl told us. Chan gasped and stood up to go look, being that he’s a nice guy. I started to get up from my chair when he shook his head at me.

“Stay here. Is it her? If it is stay” he whispered to me. I nodded my head to Chan and watched as he took Changbin with him. I understand why, of course. I would cause her to panic more.

With Chan helping my soulmate calm down, the other and I continued the Meet and Greet. She seems to calm down a bit, which makes me sigh in relief. I.N seems to notice that, though. “You okay, Minnie?” he asks. “Yeah, just that poor girl. I see the hyungs coming back now.” I cover.

I stare at Chan as he sits in his chair. He slowly looks at me and nods. It was her! I sigh again as I try to focus on the fan. Soon panic shoots again. Is she okay? I search the sea of fans for her, to find her shaking. Her friend is trying to talk her down and failing. I sigh as I watch her, trying to meet her eyes. She must feel my eyes on her, because she soon meets mine.

I let go of a shaky breath as I stare. Her eyes, bright green, shining with slight tears in them. I can feel that she’s calming herself, and slight guilt hidden in the mix. “Seungminne, what or who are you staring at?” Felix teases me. I turn away from my soulmate to see Felic staring at her as well.

“Felix, I was just watching to make sure everything is okay,” I state as I sign a fan's photo card of me. “Seung… you were staring at that girl for 15 minutes and you were signing things,” he mentioned. “You want the truth…” I start quietly. Felix turns to me, suddenly shocked that I was going to give in. He nodded quickly and leaned in.

“Hyung… that girl in my soulmate…”I mumbled into his ear. Felix looks shocked and giddy. He rubs my shoulder and doesn’t say anything else. I’m very thankful for that.

Let’s just pray that this day ends quickly.

Chapter 5: Chapter Five

Notes:

Rosie is finally meeting Seungmin!! How will it go?!

Also once again, Happy Birthday STAY!! 2 chapters today whoo!!

Chapter Text

After my mini panic attacks, I felt eyes on me. I slowly look up to stare right back at Seungmin. We stayed like that for like 5 minutes before Felix broke it. They were talking, and soon Felix was looking back at me with a strange look in his eyes. I shuddered and looked away.

We were getting close to the tables when I had another panic attack. Kaiden rubbed my shoulders, and it helped. I stepped up to the first member. Lee Know. I smiled and gave him a present, and he smiled before also signing a photo card. I thanked him and moved on.

Next was Changbin. He asked me if I was feeling better, and I nodded with a big smile. I gave him his gift and a photo card to sign. He giggled at the gift as he put it on his head. I knitted him a pink beanie. I thanked him and moved on. Next was Bang Chan. I gave him his present, also a handmade beanie and a photo card to sign.

“Thank you so much,” he smiled as he signed the photo card. As he passed it back, he stood. “Can I have a hug?” he asked, arms open. “S…sure,” I stutter out, leaning over to hug him. “Text this number, please. I know who you are.” He whispered in my ear. I pulled back and looked at him. Of course, he knows! I nod and take the card before moving on.

Next is Jeongin. I smiled at him and gave him his gift. Kaiden made a fox plushie for him. He smiled and signed a photo card for me before I moved on. Seungmin is next. I take a deep breath before I look at him. His eyes already on me, causing me to feel burned. I placed his gift next to him and held out a photo card of him.

“Can you make it out to Rosie?” I subtly mention my name. “Sure…Rosie,” he says, trying out my name. His fingers brush mine, and it feels like sparks, causing my breathing to stop. I met his eyes, and something passed between us. Something unspoken. He signed my card and passed it back before looking away.

I tried not to look hurt as I moved to Felix. Felix smiled brightly at me as he took his gift and the photo card. He giggled at the chick, Kaiden had made him and sign the photo card. “Can I have a hug, Rosie?” he asked. “Sure!” I would never pass down a chance to hug Felix. “I think we’re going to be great friends. Text me later!” he whispered into my ear as we hugged. I pulled back and smiled shyly at him.

‘Does all of Stray Kids know that I’m Seungmin’s soulmate?’ I thought to myself. I shake that thought out of my head as I visit Han and Hyunjin. Once that was done, Kaiden and I turned to look back. “Ready?” Kaiden asked with a knowing look. “Yeah, let’s go home. They aren’t doing anything else, so.” I sa,y turning to leave. As soon as I get home, I head to my room and change into pajamas. I sigh as I fall into my bed. Then I remember that both Felix and Bang Chan gave me numbers to contact.

I quickly pull out my phone and all the photo cards. I put their numbers into my phone and started to think about how to message them. I plan to message Bang Chan first since he is the leader.

*To Bang Chan a.k.a. Daddy Chris*

Hey! This is Rosie. The girl you gave your number to at the Meet and Greet.

Then I move on to text Felix.

*To Sunshine Lix*

Hey, it’s Rosie from the Meet and Greet! Um, are you sure you wanna be my friend?

As soon as I hit send, Felix had texted back.

*Sunshine Lix Chat*

Hi! Yes, I do! You’re basically family now. :)

                                                                          Felix… please don’t lie…

Rosie you are Seungmin’s Soulmate

You’re family! That’s not a lie.

Felix, Seungmin wants nothing

To do with me, and I know it.

Did he say that?

I thought he gave you his number?

Soulmates can feel each other's emotions.

He didn’t have to say it.

Did he give you his number, though?

I put my phone down to look and see. I sigh as I search for his photo card.  I scanned the card, and sure enough, his number was on it. I quickly added him to my phone before texting Felix again.

*Sunshine Lix Chat*

So? Did he?

Rosie?

Hello?

Hi! Yes sorry he did

But that doesn’t mean anything, Lix

It means something

He’s not pushing you away

He’s nervous and unsure because we’re idols

And yay nicknames!

Felix I get that

So am I tbh

And yeah call my Ro if you want.

Okay Ro!

Anyways I must get some sleep for tomorrow

Are you coming tomorrow?

No I’m sorry

I could only afford yesterday and today

But got to bed, we’ll talk again

Goodnight Ro!

Goodnight Felix!

Chapter Text

*Felix*

After I finished texting Rosie, I ran to Chan’s room. Rosie is going to the concert, and I will, make it happen. “Hyung! Are you awake?” I say as I knock on his door. “Felix? Everything okay? How is your back?” he asks as he opens the door, looking me over. I wave him off before walking in. I immediately spot Seungmin on Chan’s bed.

“Oh, good you're here too!” I squeal, climbing into the bed. “Felix, why are you here?” Chan questions. “I want a backstage pass and a front row ticket, please for tomorrow.”  I say with puppy dog eyes. “Why?” Seungmin wonders. “Wouldn’t you like to know,” I tease with a wink. “Yeah, I would,” he deadpans.

I cock my head to the side and looked at him. He really didn’t get it? I turned to look at Chan with pleading eyes. “Why Felix?” they both say. “I have a friend in town and I want them to come,” I lie to both. “Oh! Okay!” Chan hyung agreed. I cheered and hugged him. “I’ll have them ready in the morning,” he laughed and patted my head.

Okay, well, I’m going to head to bed. I’m going to meet them in the morning before soundcheck.” I say, leaving the room. I quickly pull out my phone and shoot a text to Rosie.

*Soulmate Bestie Chat*

I know you’re asleep, but let’s meet up tomorrow?

Say 9 am?

I’ll pay lol

Not asleep yet!

And sure! I’d love to!

9 works for me

Also, I can pay for myself

I’m paying, don’t fight me on it

I’m inviting you out so it’s fair

Okay, where are we meeting?

Toasty teapot?

Okay! See you at 9!

See you at 9!

I put down my phone and plugged it in. I got cozy and fell asleep. New friend unlocked!

Chapter Text

I groan as I wake up to my alarm. 6:30 am Why am I up this early? I turn it off and roll over. Then my phone dinged with a message. I roll back to look, it’s from Felix and one from Bang Chan. I sat up right away, remembering that I’m meeting Felix today. I rush to shower and dry my hair before pulling on a simple t-shirt and jeans. I throw on a light jacket and do minimal makeup. After getting ready, I check my phone. Realizing I didn’t answer my texts. I open Felix’s first.

*Sunshine Lix Chat*

G’morning Ro!

Can’t wait to hang out!

Morning Lix! Same here!

See you in a bit!

I smiled as I hit send before opening Chan’s message.

*Bang Chan a.k.a Daddy Chris Chat*

Hi Rosie! Good morning

Are you okay after yesterday?

I want to talk to you about the fact that you are Seungmin’s soulmate.

When are you free?

Of course… He’s being cautious of me. I don’t blame him. They are famous… I let out a sigh before pinching away a headache. ‘How do I respond?’ I sigh and type back before I can chicken out.

*Bang Chan a.k.a Daddy Chris Chat*

Hey Bang Chan!

Good morning to you also.

I can gladly meet you somewhere later today or tomorrow?

I’m also willing to sign things and give over any info you need.

Oh, thank you, Rosie!

Does tomorrow at 9:30 work for you at the toasty teapot?

Yes, that works for me, Bang Chan

Just call me Chan, please

Als,o see you tomorrow!

See you tomorrow, Chan!

I let out a breath; I didn’t know I was holding in. I look at the time and realize that it’s 8:15. Since Kaiden has the car, I have to walk. It’s not far, thankfully! I grab my stuff and walk out the door. After a 35-minute walk, I finally arrive at the cafe. It’s not packed, which is surprising. I look around and spot a person trying to blend in.

As I make my way over, I try not to laugh. Felix notices me and waves. “You know, you stand out no matter what, right?” I state as I sit down. “Ro! Oh my god, you are so pretty!” he giggles. “Thank you, Lee,” I wink at him, not wanting to expose him. “So have you messaged him yet?” Felix asked with a wink.

“No… I don’t know what to say! Also, I’m meeting Chris tomorrow…” I say quietly, pulling out my phone. I pull up Seungmin’s contact and just stare. “Give me your phone. Also, Chris is harmless, which you know already.” Felix sighs with his hand out. “But..” “Give” with a flex of his hand and puppy dog eyes. “Fine,” I give in, handing over my phone. He smiles like he won something, before laughing and typing away.

*Seungmin a.k.a Dandy Boy Soulmate Chat*

Hey Seungmin…

This is Rosie…

Um, your soulmate…

“There, now you just have to wait for him to respond,” Felix says, handing my phone back. I rolled my eyes at the message before locking my phone. “Ro, tell me about yourself.” “Well, Lee, you already know that I like K-pop, but I also love playing video games.”

And that’s how it started. We talked for an hour before Felix had to leave. I was sad right away. This felt natural; we’re already so close. As Felix gets up to leave, he turns to his bag and pulls something out. “Here. Come tonight, please. For me!” he pleads. “Felix, a front row and backstage pass? Why?” I’m shocked that he’s giving these to me.

“I want you there, and we can hang out more after,” he said easily. “Lix… What about the others? Do they know about this? About me?” “Chan thinks I’m giving these to a friend, which I am, but I didn't name anyone.” “Lix!” “Also, only me, Chan, and Seungmin know about you,” he finishes. “Oh my god! Lix, are you crazy?”

“No, now see you later,” he says before placing a quick peck on my cheek. I freeze in my seat before looking down at the ticket and pass. ‘Do I go?’ I wonder as I stand up to leave. I need Kaiden! He’ll tell me what to do! And so I run home to gossip.

Notes:

How are we feeling about Felix intervening? What will Ro decide? Also how will her meeting with Bang Chan go?

Chapter Text

“Kaiden!” I shout once I walk through the front door. “What Ro?” I hear him shout from our kitchen. I walk into the kitchen and sit down. I pat the other side of the table, hoping he’ll sit. “Ro, I’m cooking, just tell me,” he states, stirring a pot. “So you know I met Felix today. Well, tomorrow I meet with Chan.” I say.

“Oh, I figured this would happen Ro,” he said, not surprised. “Yeah, I know, but I’m also going out tonight. Thanks to Felix,” I say, flashing the ticket and pass. Kaiden dropped the spoon he was using as he took the ticket from me. “Ro, what the fuck?” “I know. Should I go?” I ask.

“You already said you were?” “Well, I’m unsure,” I mutter, playing with my fingers. “Go change, and go see your man,” Kaiden decides, hitting the back of my head. I smile at my best friend before running to change into a light blue, flowy dress and sneakers. I braid my hair and touch up my makeup. “Ro, let’s go. I’ll drop you off early. So tell Felix!” Kaiden yells.

*Sunshine Lix Chat*

Hey Lix!

My best friend is going to drop me off early.

Really?!

Cool, we’re all here!

Do you maybe wanna meet with Chan today?

Should I Lix?

Probably…

Fine…

Where should I go?

Meet me at the side door.

Wear your pass!!

               Okay, see you!

I sigh as I grab everything I need before walking out the door. I climb into the car and we drive off. Oh, the nerves…

*Chan*

Felix can’t stop bouncing around. I guess he’s excited for tonight. “Channie hyung” I hear, be called. “Yes?” I reply, looking up at the person. Felix. He looks like he is scheming again. “Chan, I know you're meeting with her tomorrow, but why not now?” he asks with puppy eyes.

It clicked right there. His friend is Rosie. He gave her the ticket. I sigh as I rub a headache away. “Felix, what did you do?” I sigh. “Moving your meeting to now.” “Oh god!” “Chan, she’ll be here soon. Be nice, please,” he pleads as we walk out of the green room. “Felix, I was planning on it. Where are you going?” I ask, as he walks away.

“Go into this room. I’ll bring her here to you.” Felix orders. “Okay,” I give in, walking in and sitting down. Felix is crazy today. Let’s hope this goes well.

Notes:

How will the meeting with Rosie and Chan go? Any thoughts?

I would love to hear your feedback!

Chapter Text

Okay Ro! You can do this! I say to myself as I stand outside the door, Felix mentioned. As I shake out my nerves, the door opens. Suddenly, I’m pulled inside, straight into a set of arms. “Oh my god, Ro! Hi!” Felix giggles as he starts to pull away. “Hey Lix,” I say quietly as he takes my hand.

Nervous? Don’t be! Chris is the nicest person in the world!” Felix states, feeling my shaking hand. “Just a bit, Felix. I’ll be fine. Let’s not leave Chris waiting, okay?” I say, hinting at him to lead the way. Felix got the hint and smiled softly before leading me to a room. As Felix opened the door, I slowly let out a deep breath, hoping to calm my nerves. Felix leads me into the room, and there is Bang Chan. He’s sitting, ready to start this meeting. He looks up from his phone as we walk in.

I slowly walk over to him as he makes a gesture for me to sit across from him. “Felix, you can go. This is between us,” Chan says to Felix, who leaned against the wall. “I know that, Chris, but respectfully no. She’s nervous. I’m staying here to stop if she starts to feel uncomfortable,” Felix states, giving his leader a questioning look.

“Feix, what do you really think I’m going to say or do? I would never hurt someone,” Chan questioned Felix. Before Felix could say anything, I cleared my throat, claiming their gaze. “Respectfully.. I know why I’m here, I’m Seungmin’s soulmate, and I know he doesn’t want to meet me.” I say finally.

They both look confused. Why are they confused? I sigh before rubbing my temples. ‘I should’ve stayed home.’ I think to myself. “RO, Seungmin hasn’t mentioned not wanting to meet and getting to know you,” Felix breaks the silence as he moves to sit next to me. “He didn’t have to. I can feel it at the concert and the meet and greet,” I said, playing with my fingers.

“Rosie, Seungmin is unsure only because we are idols. This meeting was for me, his leader, to get to know you,” Chan says softly. “So to see if I’m not a bad person basically,” I sigh out, as Chan nods. “Well, ask away…” I am ready to prove myself. “Okay, well I need your socials for management,” Chan says, handing over paper and a pen. I write everything down, including my Steam account.

“PastryPrincess00?” Felix questions looking at it. “That’s my gamertag. I talk to people on Steam, so I figured…” “Ah.., Maybe we can play games together someday?” Felix asks. “Sure,” I nodded, as a smile broke through. “Where do you work, Rosie?” Chan asks next. “I’m a waitress at a small diner.” “Okay, birthday?” “November 15th, 2000.” “You’re younger than me? Please call me hyung Ro,” Felix practically demands of me.

“Felix… Rosie, do you know any Korean?” “Some? I don’t think singing Stray Kids songs counts. I can say some greetings.” I say quietly. “Okay, well start learning, please. Seungmin can speak English but mostly speaks Korean,” Chan states nicely, as I nod my head.

“How would you feel about moving?” Felix asks this time. “Huh?” I stutter, turning to look at him. “Move?” “Yes… How would you feel about moving to Korea? To be protected and closer to Seungmin.” He repeats. “Felix… I don’t know… I haven’t thought about that. We only just found out 2 days ago.” I state, turning away to stare at my hands again.

“Right, but Felix is right thought… It would be best,” Chan agrees. I shake my head and stand. ‘Breathe, Ro. ’ I stare at them both as I try not to walk away in panic. “Rosie?” “No, give me the NDA, so I can sign it.” “Okay,” Chan looks at me as I sign it. I place the pen down before walking to the door. “Rosie, stop,” Felix shouts.

I stopped and turned to him, surprised. I can tell Chan is shocked that he raised his voice. Felix looks at me with concern. “Did we push too far?” he asks, barely loud enough for me to hear. “You both said that I need to give up my life here. This is my home. I wouldn’t ask you to do that.” I say slowly, as I feel tears pricking my eyes. I open the door, not looking up, only to run into someone. My heart does a flip.

Chapter 10: Chapter Ten

Chapter Text

*Seungmin*

Today started great. Felix was off meeting up with his friend, and the rest of us toured the town. Now we’re all getting ready for sound check when Chan and Felix disappear. “Does anyone know where Chan hyung and Felix went?” Hyunjin asked everyone, only to be told no. Out of nowhere, I start feeling strong waves of stress and panic. My soulmare… I hope she’s okay. I close my eyes, trying to keep my face neutral from the others.

“Minnie hyung,” I.N calls. “Yes, Innie?” I question opening my eyes. “Can you come with me to get coffee?” “Sure, I could use one,” I get up and walk out of the green room with him. “Rosie, stop!” I hear be shouted by Felix. “Was that Felix hyung?” I.N asks.

I nod as we walk closer to a door that’s not far from the green room. Right as we got to the door, it was open quickly, and then someone walked out right into me. I wrap my arms around the person to steady them, then look down. My heart does a flip.

The girl looks up at me. My soulmate… I can tell she’s trying not to cry. She looks away quickly, pulling herself away. I hear her mutter a quick sorry before running off. “Fuck, who was that, and why is she crying?” I.N asks Chan. “Language and Felix find Rosie, please,” Chan sighs, pinching his nose.

Felix gives me a quick look before taking off after Rosie. “Chan hyung?” I.N questions his leader. “Seung, I’m sorry. Felix asked her a certain question, and it upset her.” Chan says to me, not answering I.N. I.N looks even more confused now. I sigh, looking at Chan. I guess it’s fair to tell everyone then. “I’ll explain, let’s go back to the green room first,” I say, heading back.

As we enter, the others look at us, confused. Right, no coffee nor Felix with us. “Everyone, listen to Seungmin, please,” Chan says, clearing his throat. Everyone looks at me with questioning looks. I throw a quick glare at Chan before starting. “Do you guys remember the girl with the sign that said ‘Thanks for coming to PA’?”

Everyone nods. “Well, um, turns out… Soulmates are real and she’s mine,” I say quickly, looking away. “Soulmate? What’s her name?” Han asks on the edge of his seat. “Rosie Bell” Chan says, looking up from his phone. “You knew? Chan-ah!” Minho chatters off.

“Seungmin came to me and wasn’t ready to talk about it. Felix found out, though, and is now friends with her.” Chan states. “Lixie is friends with her?” I sigh. “Yes, and she’s her because of him,” Chan also sighs, looking back at his phone. ‘Lix found her by the way… What do you want to do, Minnie?’ Chan asks me. “Hyung, I can feel her tears… What was the question?” “Min, don’t worry about that,” Chan says, trying to change the subject.

“Have Felix bring her here. Let her meet everyone, I guess.” I mumble to him, not ready to drop the subject. Chan nods and texts Felix as I look at others. They look excited to meet Rosie. “Don’t scare her, please,” I sigh as the door opens. Felix tugs Rosie through the door before shutting it. I look her over once, before glaring at Chan and pointing to the door. He nods and follows. I shake my head before turning to him.

“Seung… Felix asked her about moving…” “Oh my god. We just found out 2 days ago.” “That’s what she said, too, but I agree. She’ll be close and we can protect her in Korea,” Chan pleads. “I’m not going to force her. Give her time to think about that, and if she wants to move, we will help her,” I sigh. I see their points, but she’s her own person. She might not even want to have a relationship with me. I’m not ready for that either!

Maybe we start as friends and then see? I shake the thoughts out of my head as we head back inside. I look at her again, and she’s smiling as Hyunjin is telling her a story. I look at the other and they seem comfortable. “Hyung, can we keep her?” Han asks Chan out of the blue. “Han-ah, Rosie isn’t a pet,” Chan sighed.

“하지만 그녀는 예쁘죠” Han whines in Korean. (But she’s so pretty.) “아주 예쁘다” Changbin agrees with Han. (Very pretty.) “Guys, chill!” Chan wanted to shout. Han and Changbin stared at him before turning away. I sigh, patting Chan’s shoulder. Sound check is going to be fun.

Chapter Text

I can’t believe I’m watching a sound check backstage. Chan said it was best for now. That’s okay with me; I still get to see them do their thing. I sigh, though I’m happy watching them, my thoughts keep going back to Felix’s question. Move to Korea? Yeah, I get it would be easier, but my life is here. My family is here!

I haven’t even found time to tell my family. I haven’t had much time to do anything lately, and now this. My family is going to freak out! Sound check goes by fast, and as soon as Felix and Hyunjin are off stage, they drag me to the green room. The staff don’t seem to care, which is odd, but I was known as Felix’s friend. “Ro! How was sound check?” Felix asks, pulling us to the couch.

“It was great to watch Lix,” I say, following. “Rose?” Hyunjin asks, sitting next to us. “Rose? That’s a first,” I mutter, turning to Hyunjin. “It’s pretty like you, that’s why. But can I have your number? I want to keep in touch after we leave tomorrow,” he says, holding out his phone. “Oh, thank you Hyunjin, and of course!” I say politely, taking his phone. I put my number in his phone and saved it as Rose. I give him back his phone and take mine out. “Send me a text, please,” I giggle. He nods and types away.

*My Artist Jinnie*

Hey it’s Hyunjin!

Hey Hyunjin :)

I feel myself lean back as I giggle. I look over to see that Felix has his arm around my shoulders. I sigh as I relax next to him. “Lix?” I call out. “Yeah Ro?” “I’m sorry for getting upset.” “Rosie, it’s okay. I shouldn’t have pushed it. Like you said, you just found out 2 days ago. I won’t lie, though, I would feel better if you were closer,” he whimpers out.

“Felix! I get it! We grew close really fast, and now that the tour is ending, you’re going home. I promise that one day in the future, I will move to Korea.” I promise the sunshine boy. He pulls me closer into a hug, and I feel Hyunjin join. I have a feeling these boys and I will be really close.

Soon, the green room door opens, and the rest of the boys walk in. “Cuddle party? Without me?!” Han shouts before jumping on Hyunjin. I let out a groan as I feel more weight on my side. I don’t care, though. These boys mean a lot to me, I’m a stay after all! “Han-ah!” Monho shouts after the quokka boy falls on us.

“Minho hyung!” he shouts back. Minho gives him a challenging look, and he moves off us. Then someone’s phone dings, everyone looks down before one by one starts a chain of not me. It turned out to be me. It’s a text from… Seungmin. I look up and realize he’s not with us.

*Seungmin a.k.a. Dandy Boy Soulmate*

Hello Stranger!

Hi!

Come to the room down the hall.

The one from earlier.

Okay… Be right there.

I take a deep breath before I pull away from Hyunjin and Felix. “Where are you going, Ro?” Felix whines as Hyunjin falls on him. “Bathroom,” I lie, not wanting to be teased yet. Felix nods and cuddles with Hyunjin. I leave the green room and sneak over to the room I was in earlier. “Seungmin?” I call out as I enter the room.

I look around quickly before he jumps out from hiding behind something. I shout and jump, almost hitting him. I glare at him as he laughs. The sound of his laughter is music to my ears. I quickly shake away the thoughts as I blush. ‘Don’t think like this just yet, Rosie, ’ I scold myself. Seungmin’s laughter dies down as we stand in an uncomfortable silence.

“You asked me here?” I broke it with a question. “Ah, yes… I figured we could talk. If you want to?” He says shyly. “Are you sure? Because I’m not even sure you want me?” I say confused by him. “You’re confused… I get that. I’m unsure what I want, but I’m willing to be friends. Then we can see about a romantic relationship,” he states, sitting down.

I stare at him, now unsure what I want. Sure, being friends, getting to know one another, is great, but why do I want more? I guess that’s the pull of the soulmate bond. “Friends?” I sigh, falling onto the couch next to him. “Long-distance friends,” he laughs, holding a hand out to shake. I take his hand and shake it, sparks shooting up my arm from a simple touch. I look at him, trying to gauge what he’s feeling.

Our eyes meet, and like a pulley, something passes through us. Seungmin pulls away fast and moves to the door. “I’m heading back. I have a concert to get ready for.” I hear him excuse himself before leaving. I’m just left there, staring at where he was sitting. The warmth of his touch was slowly fading away.

Am I going to be okay with this? We’re going to be in different countries, different time zones! I feel tears of frustration prick my eyes. I push my feelings away because I don’t want Seungmin to know what I’m feeling. I just need to get through this concert and the soon-to-be tearful goodbyes. My life is changing so much, and I’m scared.

Notes:

I will not lie... Chapter 12 made me cry while writing it, so I need to edit it again, haha. That chapter will be up maybe later or tomorrow.. Not sure yet. Please enjoy Chapter 11 for now!!

Chapter Text

As the concert winds down, I slowly leave my spot and sneak backstage. I made it to the side, and one of the crew let me in. I thank them and scurry my way to the green room.

As I enter, I look around one last time, feeling unready for what’s next. I let out a sigh before sitting on the couch. To distract myself, I play with a loose thread on my dress. I’m not ready to say goodbye, but I have to. One by one, the boys walk in. Changbin is the first to notice me.

“Ah pretty Rosie,” he screamed loudly, as he smiled softly. ‘Such a baby girl move,’ I laughed, standing up. “Changbin!” I squeal as I hug him. “I don’t want to say goodbye,” he says into my shoulder. “It’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later,” I mumbled back. “Don’t cry Jagi,” I hear Minho say.

Changbin pulls away, and the rest of the goodbyes start. Minho gives me a creepy smile and pats my shoulder before walking away. Han and Jeongin say goodbye next. Jeongin gives me a soft smile and a shoulder tap as Han clings to me. “Han, this isn’t goodbye, okay?” I say to the oversized squirrel.

Whatever he said was muffled in my shoulder, and then I felt tears. I pull back slightly to see a man who barely knows me crying. “Oh Hannie… Don’t cry, please,” I sigh, wiping away his tears.  “I’m okay,” he sighs, letting me go to walk away. “I’ll see you later, Han!” I say after him.

Next is Hyunjin. The man was already staring me down. “Oh Rose, I’m going to miss you!” he breaks, pulling me into a hug. Since he’s taller than me, he has to hug around my shoulders and me, his waist. I sigh as I feel his chin on the top of my head. “Oh Jinnie, I’m going to miss you too.” I cry, hugging tighter. “I promise to text you every day, okay?” he cries. I just nod and squeeze him. After about 3 minutes of crying and hugging, a cough cuts through the air.

Bang Chan… I pull away from Hyunjin and wipe my face. “Rosie, we’ll see you soon, okay?” Chan says to me, taking my hand and giving it a squeeze. I nod my head, not trusting my voice. He smiles and lets go so I can say goodbye to Felix and Seungmin.  I look at them both, wondering who is going to say something first.

“Rosie… take care of yourself, please? Call me if you need anything.” Seungmin said, walking forward. “Seungmin, promise me to take care also? Try not to forget about me, please?” I whisper softly, trying hard not to fall into pieces. “Okay Rosie,” he says, softly touching my shoulder, before walking away.

I’m shaking at this point, not ready to say goodbye to Felix. Soft cries startle me. “Lix? Oh Lix…” I sob, hugging him tightly. “I pro…promise to call every day, we’ll play games together too,” he says into my ear. I nod my head, crying into his shirt. Felix just hugged me tighter. After another 5 minutes of crying, Chan calls out that we have to leave.

“No!” Felix crying, not letting me go. “Lix, it’s okay. Promise me something?” I ask, pulling away. “Anything!” he agrees as we start walking. I pull him out the side door, where everyone is getting into the vans. I see Kaiden just ahead. “Promise me to look after everyone. Just until I decide when I will be moving to Korea?” I ask him. “Of course, I’m also going to find the best place that’s close by!” he smiles.

I chuckle and pull him into one more hug. “See you later.” “See you later,” We let go and walked to our separate cars. I look back one more time and wave before getting in. Kaiden is already handing me tissues. “You are the best best friend ever,” I cry, blowing my nose. “I know,” he mutters, rubbing my shoulder.

“Let’s go home. So I can cry in my bed,” I laugh. Kaiden sighs but puts the car in drive. I look back to see the vans already gone from view. Soon boys, I’ll be with you. Just not right now.

Chapter 13: Chapter Thirteen

Chapter Text

It’s been one week since I said goodbye to Stray Kids. I’ve gone back to work since the 2nd day, Felix and Hyunjin kept their word and call or text me almost every day. The boys have been busy working on the new album and interviews, and how some of them find time to message me is surprisingly sweet.

I sigh as I finish my last table for my shift. My boss, Billy, is counting my tips before handing the money to me. “Ro, are you able to pick up a shift tomorrow?” Billy asks me, before I could rush away. Shit! “Unfortunately, I can’t. I have plans tomorrow. I’m sorry, Billy,” I quickly say before running away.

I punched out and grabbed my bag before saying goodnight to my coworkers coming in. Once I was outside, I let my hair down. I let out a sigh of relief as I start walking home. Kaiden was already home from work and watching a movie. “Did you eat Ro?” he asked me, not even turning away from the TV. “Yes, I ate at the diner, Kai,” I giggle, putting my stuff down.

“What are you going to do since you’re off tomorrow finally?” he hints. “I might finally play games with Lix!” I smile as I walk passed him. “Goodnight!” “Night!”

The next morning, I woke up at about 8 am to my phone blowing up. I sneak a peek to see that Felix, Hyunjin, and Jeongin have messaged me. I sit up, ready to answer.

*My Artist Jinnie*

Hey Rose!

So tired lol

At practice?

Or done for the night?

Done for the night!

Minho & I are working hard on the dance steps.

Awesome, I’m proud of both of you!

I just woke up!

Need to answer Lix lol

Lol go do that 🙂

*Sunshine Lix*

Ro you awake?!

You should be!

It’s 8 am there!

Right? Lol I hope so…

Lix! I'm awake lol

It is 8 am lol

Awesome!

Are we playing games?

Yeah sure!

Give me 20 mins?

Sure, I’ll be waiting!

Okay!

I laugh before looking at Jeongin’s message.

*Baby Toast Innie*

Hey Rosie!

Hey Innie…

What’s Seungmin doing?

I thought he looked cute.

We’re out having dinner, and he thought of some lyrics for a song

I mean, he’s cute, but why send it to me?

We’re just friends, I.N

So?

I sighed and didn’t answer; instead, I started up my computer. I quickly brush my teeth and hair before grabbing something to eat and drink. Once I sit down and ready, I send a text to Felix. He adds me on Steam and we pick a game. After playing and talking shit for an hour, Felix has to go. We both sigh and make plans for another day to play more.

I continue to play by myself when another player with the gamertag, Dandy_Min_Day6 adds me. Odd… who is this?

*Dandy_Min_Day6 Chat*

Hello?

Hello stranger

Why did you add me?

I’ve seen you play…

I thought we could play together.

Oh? Um sure

Really?

Yeah, why not?

Cool!

As I was messaging Dandy_Min_Day6, I felt waves of anxiety. Is Seungmin okay? Why is he anxious? I pull out my phone, wondering if I should text him. I choose to text him.

*Seungmin a.k.a Dandy Boy Soulmate*

Are you okay?

I feel a wave of emotions. Shock, panic, and then nothing.

*Seungmin a.k.a Dandy Boy Soulmate*

I’m good!

Are you sure?

Remember, I can feel your emotions!

I’m positive Rosie

Thanks for asking though

Oh… Of course, Seungmin. Later…

I sigh before turning off my computer, not wanting to play anymore. Seungmin must feel like that because of the song. I push any thoughts of Seungmin away and curl up on my bed. Hopefully, he opens up to me so we can be friends like he said.

Chapter Text

*Two Months Later*

I scream as I play a game with Dandy_Min_Day6. We just died in the game, but I don’t care. We’ve been hanging out a lot when I’m working or playing with Felix. It’s been great so far! I’ve learned that he’s from Korea, he loves baseball, and so many other facts. I told him about myself and we get along great! I wish Seungmin and I were like this!

He has barely talked to me at all. When I ask one of the boys about him, they say he’s been busy working on music. I guess I can understand that, but maybe more than a hi or a reminder to eat would be nice! I’ve also been talking with Kaiden about moving over there. Kaiden is down to move! First thing to do is get passports and visas!

Then pack everything we want to come with us! I haven’t told any of the boys yet because nothing is final. I message Dandy_Min_Day6 that I have to go before turning off my computer. I sigh as I stand up and walk to the kitchen. “Kaiden, what do you want for dinner?” I call out in front of the fridge. “Spaghetti,” he calls back. ‘Okay then,’ I think to myself. I pull out my pots and start dinner.

As I finish dinner and call Kaiden, my phone rings. I answer without looking at the caller ID.  “Hello?” “Hi, yes, is this Rosie Bell?” the voice asks. “This is she.” “Good, we have news about your visa.” “Oh, everything okay?” I worry. “Everything is fine, we’re just calling to tell you everything has been approved.”

“Oh my god! Thank you!” I jump with joy. “You’re welcome. Your visa should arrive to you soon via the mail. Have a nice day!” “You too!” I squeal, hanging up. “Kaiden! My visa got approved!” “So did mine. I got the call 2 hours ago.” Kaiden says, shoving his face.

I chuckled and ate dinner, also. “I guess it’s time to pack?” Kaiden sighs, rubbing his face. “Yup, and quit our jobs!” I cheered, running to my room. “Are you going to tell the boys soon/” Kaiden asks, peeking in. “When we’re ready and packing!” “Why wait?” “I’m just waiting till we’re packing and have a flight and a hotel booked. I don’t want to chance anything.” I sigh out my worries.

“You should tell at least one of them,” I sighed and nodded. Kaiden is being smart about this.

*Chan*

I’ve been in the studio all day producing. Jisung and Changbin are already gone for the day. I sigh as I lean back in my chair. I’m stuck on a few beats and melodies that I’ve been working on. When I stand up to stretch, my phone dings. Who’s texting me this late?

*Rosie Chat*

Chan? I know you’re awake…

Can we talk?

Sure!

Okay.. can you keep a secret?

Yeah?

What’s wrong?

Nothing is wrong

Actually, everything is great

I applied for a visa

Okay?

Chan, I’m moving to Korea!

My visa got approved!

Don’t tell anyone yet, please?!

I won’t, I promise.

Thank you! Now get some sleep

Okay, I will lol

I laugh as I put my phone back in my pocket.  “It’s about time,” I smile, grab my laptop, and start looking at flights. The boys are going to be so happy when she tells them. “Hyung? You’re still here?” I hear Jisung sigh. I close my laptop quickly before fake yawning. “Sorry, Suinge. Got lost in the music. I’m heading home right now.” I laugh at his face. “Okay, good let's go,” he sighs, dragging me away.

I guess me buying the tickets will have to wait.

I will not lie to you guys.. I have up to chapter 18 and half of chapter 19 written, but they are not edited yet. I'm posting them as I edit them to be honest.

Chapter 15: Chapter Fifteen

Summary:

We see in this chapter how the last 2 months have been for Seungmin.

Chapter Text

*Seungmin*

(That 2 months later)

I can’t lie, the last 2 months since the tour ended have been the best. Besides working on new music, I’ve been relaxing a lot. I do have something to confess, though. I have barely talked to Rosie… as myself. I have been talking to her as Dandy_Min_Day6. Why? It’s comfortable, I guess?

I plan on telling her, of course! I just don’t know how! We’ve become good friends, and I don’t want to ruin that. I just need time! “Hyung!” Jeongun’s voice breaks my thoughts. “Innie?” I sigh, shifting on my chair. “What are you doing today?” “I have a vocal lesson later and a writing session with Han-ah,” I say. “Ah, have lunch with me?” he asks me.

“Why? So you can send photos of me to Rosie?” I question him. “How do you know that?” he looks surprised to be caught. “Your ringtone for her, dude,” I deadpan. “What’s her ringtone then?” he challenges me. “Jeongin, her ringtone is ‘Can’t Stop’ by us,” I laugh.

“Hmm… So what’s the problem? Yours for her is “Hello Stranger’ by us as well,” he laughs. “Well, she’s a stranger to me.” I shift to stand so we can leave. “Don’t you play games with her. She’s not a stranger anymore, hyung,” he points out to me. “Jeongin, she doesn’t know it’s me, though,” I tell him, as I pull my shoes on.

Jeongin gasped and smacked my arm. I throw up a quick glare as I grab my keys and wallet. “You haven’t told her!” he shouts. “No, but I will soon. It’s a nice pace when we don’t have to soulmate thing over our heads,” I explain to him. “Tell her soon, hyung. I don’t want you to have to try and gain her trust again,” he warns me.  I can only nod. He’s not wrong. I can’t afford to lose her trust.

*I.N*

As we walk into the small restaurant, I can tell Seungmin is lost in thought again.  It’s always about Rosie, too! She never leaves his mind! It’s too cute to be honest. I just hope he comes clean to her. Maybe I can help him. I pull out my phone and snap a photo of him looking at the menu.

*Flower Girl Rosie*

Out to eat with your Dandy_Boy ;)

Enjoy lunch, boys!

I snicker as she replies, most likely not getting the hint. I look up at Seungmin as he scoffs and rolls his eyes. “Jealous? I’m just letting her know that you're alive.” I sass him, as I am ready to order. “I’m not jealous, just a little annoyed. You do it all the time!” he sighs. “Well, message her more, and I wouldn’t have to,” I whisper as the waitress comes by.

We order and fall into silence. A Day6 song starts playing, making Seungmin smile. I take another quick photo and send it to Rosie again, this time with a smirk on my face.

*Flower Girl Rosie*

Dandy_Boys' favorite Day6 song came on lol

So cute lol

I chuckle, praying she’s getting the hints I’m sending. Otherwise, I don’t know how else to help. Seungmin needs to tell her, or I will! My phone rings again, but this time with Chan hyung’s ringtone.

*Channie Hyung*

Band meeting tonight at mine and I.N.’s place.

Oh, this should be fun.

*Rosie*

Jeongin has been sending me cute photos of Seungmin all night! Same caption, Dandy_Boy! Well, now I can’t sleep, because Seungmin is on my mind. I sigh as I lie in bed, hoping to find sleep somehow.

After 20 minutes of that, I pull out my phone and scroll through hotels in Korea, 3 more weeks till we move, I’m so excited! I’ve still only told Chan, though I think it’s time to tell the others.

*Bang Chan a.k.a. Daddy Chan*

Chan?

Yeah Rosie?

When should I tell everyone else?

Well I can for a band meeting later if you want?

For real?!

Today?!

Might as well Rosie…

True Chan…

Okay, so I’ll call you later over FaceTime or whatever.

Okay Chan!

See you later!

See ya later!

I groan as I drop my phone onto my pillow. Only a few more hours to go! At this point, I’m not going to fall back to sleep, so I should just get up and do something. I roll out of my bed and grab a box from the corner of my room, and turn on my light.

Where to start? Maybe with sorting my clothes? I can’t take everything with me; some don’t fit me anymore, or were bought for my current job. I also have this feeling that Felix and Hyunjin will be taking me shopping often. I chuckle at the thought. I can’t wait to tell them!

*Chan*

(Four Hours Later)

I’ve been pacing my apartment for 20 minutes now. The boys will be here any minute. I have Zoom set up on the TV via my laptop, so we can talk with Rosie. I look at the time 5:48 pm. I don’t have to call Rosie till 6, that gives me time to explain why. I let out a deep breath and smiled at the boys as they walked in.

“Hey hyung! Everything okay?” Jeongin asks me as he sits on the couch. “Everything is fine, guys. I called this meeting for a different reason.” I say, standing next to my laptop. “Oh, are the managers calling us?” Han asks as everyone settles down.  “No ha um, hold on,” I laugh, hitting the start button on Zoom, right at 6 like planned.

A minute later, Rosie pops up. She doesn’t say anything right away. She just scouts the room before settling into her chair. I can see packed boxes in the background, and it’s still dark out. “Hey boys!” she smiles, voice sounding sleepy. “Rosie? What time is it there?” Felix and Seungmin ask her at the same time.

“It’s 5 am here. It’s okay, though this was planned,” she laughs. “Planned? Rose, you should be asleep right now!” Hyunjin chiming in. “Guys, chill, I have work at 8:30, so this is the only time I’ll get to talk to all of you together,” she groans, pinching her nose. “Guys, please let Rosie talk,” I say sternly.

Everyone quiets down and stares at the TV. “Thank you, Chan. Okay, I’m just gonna say it. I’m moving… to Korea!” she says quickly, before hiding her face. I let out a laugh as Felix and Hyunjin start screaming. I explain to the others in Korean that she’s moving here, and they smile at her and cheer. I notice Seungmin hasn’t reacted, though.

“Seungmin?” I call him. He’s just staring at Rosie. No emotion visible on his face. “When will you be here, Rosie?” he suddenly asks the girl. “In 3 weeks. I’ve already given Chan all the information about my flight and hotel,” she explains, trying to read his face. “Okay,”
That was all Seungmin said before walking away.  “Um okay.. I’ll go check on him,” Jeongin says, following Seungmin out.

I look at Rosie’s face and she looks conflicted. I sigh, knowing this is going to happen more now. “Um, I’m going to sign off. I need to get ready for work. Night, everyone!” she says, logging off before anyone can say goodbye. “Chan hyung, does the company know about her?” Minho asks randomly. “Not that I’m aware of, Minho. The managers do, but I don’t know about anyone else,” I explain, sighing.

“Ah okay,” he mutters, getting ready to head out with Han. “You knew? For how long?” Felix corners me on the couch. “I knew for a week, Lix. Only because she needed to plan this stuff.” I sigh. “Oh okay, hyung. I’m a little hurt, though I understand. I’m gonna head out now,” Felix says, turning away to leave also.

‘That went better than I thought,’ I shake my head, as I rub my face. I hope Seungmin figures out whatever is plaguing him.

Notes:

How do you feel about Seungmin not really expressing anything during the Zoom call? Also, how do we feel about Jeongin's hints to Rosie? When do you think Rosie will figure it out, and what do you think will happen when she does?

Anyway, enjoy the two chapters today!! I'm going to work on editing and start writing chapter 21!

Chapter 17: Chapter Seventeen

Chapter Text

*Rosie*

That was a horrible Zoom call. Like what? Seungmin blocked his feelings from me, so I couldn’t know what he thinks about this. I sigh as I stand from my desk chair. I look around my room, which is mostly packed now. ‘3more weeks, Rosie, start working on your Korean.’ I think to myself as I start getting around for work.

“Ro?” Kaiden calls from behind my door. “Come in Kai,” I shout. He walks in and sighs. “Did you not sleep last night?” he asks, worry stretching across his face. “I slept for a bit. Then Jeongjin sent me a photo of Seungmin. I couldn’t sleep after that, so I packed till 5 am.” I tell him, yawning loudly.

“Rosie Bell, you know sleep is important. When you come home later, please take a nap.” Kaiden worries. “I will Kaiden, but I also told the boys this morning.” “I’m proud of you for doing that, but sleep, please,” he demands with a laugh. I nod my head as I push him out of my room to finish getting around.

I change quickly and throw my hair up into a high ponytail before grabbing my purse and phone. “Kaiden, I’m heading to work!” I shout, heading to the front door. “Okay, be careful! I won’t be home when you get back around 4. I have to pull extra hours today,” Kaiden whines back, also getting around for work. “Okay!” I laugh, walking out the door. I hope my shift will go by quickly.

*7 and a half hours later*

I sigh as I fall against the wall inside my apartment. I put my 2 weeks in this morning, and Billy was not happy. Don’t really care. I pulled myself off the wall and looked down at my phone. I wasn’t able to check it at all today, 2 missed phone calls from my sister and 7 text messages from Hyunjin and Jeongin. I decided to call my sister first, hoping it’s nothing important.

“Rosie! Hey, thanks for calling back,” my older sister, Molly answers.

“What’s up Mol?” I sighed. “Straight to the point… Okay, Mom found out that you're moving. She’s not happy.”  “I don’t care. I have my reasons as to why I’m moving.” I state calmly. “Well, she thinks it’s because you want to be closer to the idols.” If they only fucking knew… “No, I got into a college over there,” I lie. “That’s what I told her, and she doesn’t believe it.” “I don’t care Mol. I have to go.” I say hanging up right away.

I sigh and let myself fall onto my bed, not even bothering to change. I plug in my phone and remember that I have texts to answer.

*My Artist Jinnie*

I’m so excited for you to come here Rose!

I have so many places to show you!

We miss you! Hope work was okay…

I’m excited too!

I can’t wait!

I miss you guys too! Work was okay.

*Baby Toast Innie*

Hey. We need to talk, Rosie.

It’s about Seungmin…

Sort of…

Everything okay?

Rosie, can I call you?

Sure Jeongin!

Not even a minute later is my phone is ringing. “Hey Innie, everything okay?” I speak slowly for him. “Everything okay. I feel need to say sorry for him,” he says in broken English. “Innie, you don’t have to apologize for him. I figured it would be a shock since it’s only been 2 months, but he left it up to me to choose when I move,” I explain to the younger boy.

“Rosie… you’re too nice to him,” he sighs. “I’m his soulmate, Jeongin. I just wish he would talk to me.” I snort. “Is that why you’re moving? Because you’ll be closer to him,” he wonders. “Yes and no. I miss all of you guys. I’m also hoping to spend some time with Seungmin to get to know him as friends like he wanted,” I explain to him, quietly yawning.

“What time is it there, Ro?” “7 pm,” I laugh, before I let out another yawn. “Get some sleep, please. You were up early,” he worries. “Aww Jeongin, I didn’t sleep last night because of you and the photos of Seungmin.” I giggle. “I’m sorry! Please go get some sleep.” “Okay Innie. Have a good day, please?” I say before we say goodbye. I place my phone down before letting sleep take me off to dreamland.

Chapter Text

*2 weeks and 3 days later*

Everything is packed and ready to go. In 4 days, Chan is meeting us at the airport to drive us to our hotel. It’s sweet of him to do that! I have told Dandy_Min_Day6 about the move, and he seemed to take it just like Seungmin. I haven’t heard from either of them since. I hope everything is okay.

“Ro, I’m heading out for a bit with my coworkers. Don’t wait up!” I hear Kaiden shout. I didn’t respond. I’m so lost in making sure everything goes as planned. I start double-checking our booking for the hotel and our flight. I then move to checking the boxes that the movers are taking and holding till we move into a proper place over there.

“Okay it’s 2 pm. Let’s have a late lunch.” I say to myself, starting to feel hungry. I walk to the kitchen and made a quick sandwich. It’s bland, but we leave in 4 days, so it will do. As I sit down at the table, the doorbell rings. I groan with my mouth already stuffed with my sandwich. I walk over to the door and open it.

Standing there in his sunshine aura is Felix! I drop my sandwich in surprise. Felix watches in amusement. “Lixie?” I whisper, not sure if he’s real. “Hey Ro,” he says, voice deep with sleep. I squeal loudly before pulling him into a hug, forgetting about my fallen sandwich. He laughs, moving us into the apartment.

“Why are you here? You should be in Korea with the other!” I question him as I pull away. “I’m here to help. Also um… No one knows I’m here. I just left,” he says sheepishly, rubbing his neck. “Felix! That dangerous! The guys are going to be so worried!” I sigh, sitting on the plastic-covered couch.

“It’s fine. Louis Vuitton as a show soon, so they’ll think I’ve left early for fittings,” he smirks at me. “You really are a stray kid, you know that, right?” I laugh at the statement. “Always have been., Now what is there to do?” he asks, looking around. “What’s left to do is to clean everything,” I laugh at his face.

“Let’s hang out and then we can clean,” he laughs, falling on the couch next to me. I nod before cuddling up to his shoulder. I’ve missed Felix’s presence. He lights up every room and is so calm when he’s not sneaking around.  I can feel his shoulders relax and his breathing slow. I pull away to find him asleep. I pull out my phone and take a quick photo that I send to Kaiden.

*King Kaiden*

Some stray showed up

That’s cute lol

I know, he came to help.

But he didn’t tell anyone he left…

Oh boy…

Maybe you should

So no one is worried…

Yeah… I’m going to lol

I decided to make a group chat with the boys to send the photo.

*The Kids Table*

I believe this is one of your kids, Chan…

Bang Chan a.k.a Daddy Chan: wtf? When did he leave?

My Artist Jinnie: No fair! I want to be there too!

I know Minho lol: So that’s why he wasn’t at dance practice…

My Fav Quokka Hannie: He mentioned something about doing this, but I didn’t think he was serious!

DJ Binnie Hyung: One: Hello Rosie! Two: Felix is okay at least, and sleeping!

Yeah, he passed out mid-cuddle! lol

Also hi Changbin!

Baby Toast Innie: Omg! I had a feeling he was going to do this. Btw, Seungmin might be jealous that he didn’t think of this.

Seungmin a.k.a Dandy Boy Soulmate: I’m not jealous, Jeongin! I am concerned about my roommate mate though. I’m glad he’s okay and sleeping.

He’s prefect! An angel really! lol

Bang Chan a.k.a Daddy Chan: Okay… See you guys in 3 or 4 days? Time zones suck!

4 days lol see ya soon!

I looked over at Felix before getting up to start cleaning. As I clean, I put on music softly not to wake Felix and start singing along. A Stray Kids comes on and I immediately start dancing and singing a bit louder than I realize. I finish wiping the counters as the song picks up. CIRCUS is one of my many favorites.

Out of nowhere, Felix joins in! I jump, frightened by his sudden pop-up. “Felix, don’t scare me like that,” I groan, throwing the sponge at him. He caught it with a wicked grin. He squeezed it slowly, water getting onto the floor, before starting to walk closer. “Lix no,” I yelp as I back away from him. “What Ro? You were so cute! I had almost forgotten that you were a Stay,” he giggles, still walking forward.

“Put down the sponge, Lee Felix,” I ordered softly. “No, because one, you told the guys, and two… You threw it at me. Time for revenge,” he laughs as I’m cornered. I threw pleading eyes at him, but he didn’t back down. I sighed as he lifted his arms, sponge high above my head. Then cold water drops onto my face and hair.

I shiver and squeal as he falls to the floor laughing. “Well, thank you for that. Now that you’re up, you can help. Bathrooms are next,” I giggle, getting the last word. He groans but helps me anyways. I smile at the back of his head. ‘Thank you, Felix. You are the greatest friend.’

Chapter 19: Chapter Nineteen (Part 1)

Summary:

We're at the airport!!

Notes:

I originally wrote this longer, but something told me to split it... So sorry if it seems short because this is technically part 1 of Rosie moving!! Chapter 20 will be part 2!!!

Chapter Text

*At the Airport*

Felix, Kaiden, and I have finally made it through security and the bag search. Now comes the part where we have to wait for our flight. “Felix, isn’t this dangerous for you? What if someone spots you?” Kaiden worries. I shift in my seat, also worried for my other best friend. Felix is covered head to toe in black, a beanie on his head hiding his long blonde hair, and a mask covering his face.

“I’m fine. I’m well hidden, too,” he chuckles, clearly unbothered by our worry. I sigh as I lay my head on Felix’s shoulder. ‘Does he realize how dangerous he is?’ I wonder. “Flight 75A to Seoul, Korea, boarding now,” says the intercom. We all stand up and get in line. I’m shaking with excitement. I can’t wait to see the others.

“Excited?” Felix comments, noticing my shaking hands. “Yes! So excited!” I giggle, moving forward in line. Slowly, we move forward and we show our tickets to the lady at the desk. “First class, enjoy,” she says after looking at our tickets and passports. “First class? But?” I start questioning the lady when Felix laughs. “Chan upgraded your tickets and paid for them. He’s happy to do this, Ro.” He explains as we move towards the plane. “I’m going to yell at him when we land,” I whisper-yell to him.

Kaiden, Felix, and I make our way to our seats. We’re all in a row, wonderful! I take a seat in my cubicule and get comfy. I look over to see Felix texting someone and Kaiden putting on his headphones. I sigh as I settle, wondering what life is going to throw at me next. Feeling safe in my seat, I slowly fall asleep, not hearing someone taking a photo of me.

*Felix*

I turn to look over at Rosie to see her already asleep. I sent a text to Chan that our flight has lifted an hour ago, so only 13 more to go! I look back at Rosie, and she looks so cute! I take a quick photo of her and store it away. The last four days with her and Kaiden have been the best. I’ve never been so relaxed. Not having to worry about schedules has been great, but coming back feeling refreshed is great too.

I just worry about losing time with Rosie once we land. Going back to long days at the studio is one thing, but having to share her. I sigh, having to remind myself she’s Seungmin’s soulmate and not mine. I guess in a way she’s my platonic soulmate, which I gladly accept. As I get comfy in my seat, I look at Rosie one more time. Everything is going to change, and for the better. I can feel it.

Chapter 20: Chapter Twenty (part 2)

Summary:

We're in Korea, and someone made a change in the plans?

Chapter Text

*13 hours later*

I stretch as we stand to get off the plane. I grab my carry-on and rush to follow Felix and Kaiden. When we left America, it was 5 am; it is now 9 am the following day! I blink as my eyes adjust to the sun. Felix pulls me along as Kaiden walks ahead, ready to get our luggage and rest at our hotel.

“Chan is already here and waiting at baggage claim. Let’s hurry there, grab our stuff, and get you guys settled,” Felix says, still rushing. “Lix relax. You rushing might gain attention,” I giggle, letting him pull me anyway. He rolls his eyes and lets out a huff. I smile at him softly, rubbing my thumb against his. “Guys, let's go,” Kaiden pushes through.

I laugh softly as we walk closer to baggage claim. There stood Chan and Minho! Chan was holding a sign with mine and Kaiden’s names on it, with a goofy smile on his face. “Hi guys,” I say once we’re closer. “Hi. Welcome to Korea, Rosie,” Chan cheered as Minho helped Kaiden and Felix with getting our bags. “Thank you for helping. Also, you didn’t need to upgrade our tickets,” I muse, smiling up at him.

“Yes, I did. Felix would have been lonely, and you deserve it,” he laughed, waving me off. I cocked my head at him, wondering why I deserved it. I’m just me, an ordinary person, who just happened to have a soulmate from his band. My thoughts were broken by Felix talking to Chan and Minho in Korean. I sigh and look at Kaiden. He has bags under his eyes and looks ready to pass out any minute.

“Guys, let’s head to our hotel, please,” I say, turning to the others. Chan and Felix freeze suddenly as Minho laughs. Felix looks at Chan; his face tells me that Chan did something. “Chan?” I wonder, Chan lets out a nervous laugh. “Um… I may have canceled your hotel stay um 3 days ago…” he said with guilt. “So where are we staying?” Kaiden speaks up, as I stand shocked.

“Kaiden is staying with me and Jeongin, and Rosie is staying with Felix,” Chan sighs. “Only till we get our own place right?” Kaiden asks, grabbing my arm. “Of course. Now let’s go, Kaiden with me, and you two with Minho,” Chan ushered us along. We stuffed our bags in the cars and headed off. My phone vibrates.

*King Kaiden*

You okay?

I guess?

Ro, we’re only staying like this for a bit.

Soon we’ll have our own place again.

Kaiden, Felix lives with Seungmin…

They did this on purpose!

I figured…

Just relax, and when you’re settled, nap okay?

Yeah I will!

Later!

I locked my phone and looked up as Minho stopped driving. I slowly climb out of the car and reach to help with the bags. Minho swats away my hands and walks away with Felix. I just follow along quietly. We take an elevator up to the 5th floor, and as we go up, Felix and Minho are talking. Of course, in Korean, but that’s okay.

It leaves me to my thoughts. ‘I can’t believe Chan did this! Why?’ ‘So I’m closer to Seungmin? That’s a little fast…’ I sigh as the doors open and walk out fast. “This way Ro” Felix says, walking to his apartment door. I follow him and Minho slowly, stepping in after them both. Minho walks off with my stuff as Felix kicks off his shoes.

“Welcome Ro,” Felix says, stepping forward. I nod as I take off my shoes slowly. I look around the apartment slowly. It looks freshly cleaned and out of place for Felix. “Let me show you to your room and the bathroom,” Felix sighs, taking in my silence. I follow Felix down the hall, Minho went down to the room I’ll be staying in. Minho is still in the room, just waiting for us clearly. He says something to Felix, and Felix nods before walking away.

“Minho is heading home; he has to feed Jisung,” He explains, as he laughs at my confused face. “Okay,” I say softly, as I shift on my feet. “Are you okay Ro?” he asks, registering my change in attitude. “I will be Lix. I’m sorry, but I wasn’t expecting this,” I sigh as I rub my arms. “Oh, I’m sorry. Jeongin told Chan to do this.” Felix sighs, sitting on the bed. “Why?” “No clue. He never explained why,” Felix says, running a hand through his hair.

“I’m going to let you shower and change, come out and hang with me, please?” he pleads slowly, not pushing anything. “I’ll think about it,” I laugh, pushing him out of the room. He laughs as I close the door in his face. I turn back to the room in search of my stuff. Minho had set it down by the dresser. I pull out an old t-shirt and leggings with some underwear, before heading to the bathroom across the hall.

I turn on the shower and, as I wait for the water to heat up, I brush my hair out. Once I’ve showered and gotten dressed, I walk to the living space, hair still wrapped in the towel. “Better?” Felix asks from the couch. I nod as I sit down next to him. Once I’m comfortable, the front door opens, and in comes Seungmin. We stare at each other, him shocked and me shy. “Seung, welcome home. Ro is staying here for a bit. This is going to be so much fun!” Felix laughs.

Right… Fun…

Chapter 21: Chapter Twenty-One

Summary:

Rosie, Felix, and Seungmin hang out!!

Notes:

So sorry I haven't updated till now. I've been working a lot this week with Labor Day coming up. Retail! It has also taken me about 5 days to finish writing chapter 26, haha. Hopefully, I'll have chapter 22 out on Sunday when I'm off. Till then, enjoy chapter 21!!!

Chapter Text

After Seungmin’s shock wore off, he asked Felix to meet him in the kitchen. I sigh and unwrap the towel, and dry my hair a bit before leaving the rest to air dry. About 10 minutes later, I hear Felix laughing, before they both show back up in the living area. “Everything okay?” I wonder, hoping Seungmin isn’t mad.

“Everything is fine. Seungmin just wasn’t told about you staying here,” Felix expressed, sitting back down on the couch a bit farther away this time. “Yeah, sorry about that, Rosie. Welcome to Korea,” Seungmin apologized as he sat down between me and Felix. “It’s okay, Seungmin. This was a shock to me also. Kaiden and I plan on apartment hunting tomorrow, so I shouldn’t be here long,” I pressed, not wanting to burden him by staying here.

“So soon?” Felix whined, flailing his body over the couch. I nodded, shifting slightly away. Seungmin seemed to notice and moved a bit closer. Our hands brushed, and sparks shot up my arms. I sigh at the touch, missing the way it felt. “What are we doing for dinner?” Felix complained. “Felix, it’s only 1 pm…” Seungmin sighed. “And? Do we have plans or not?” Felix pressed.

“Order in? Or ask Chan if he has any plans, I guess,” Seungmin offered to him. It has taken me a bit to realize that Seungmin is speaking in English around me. His English is very good and quite charming! I blush at that thought. “Guys, um, I’m going to na,p okay?” I say standing up to walk away.

“Okay! Have a good rest,” Seungmin mutters. “I’ll wake you in 2 hours, Ro. We should know what we’re doing for dinner by then, “Felix calls, as I walk away nodding. Once I’m back in my room, I walk straight to the bed. I climb under the covers and wait for sleep to take me.

*2 Hours Later*

I couldn’t fall asleep at all. I sigh as I sit up in bed and look at my phone. 3:03 pm… Only two messages and a missed phone call. I sigh as I look to see who called me; Molly. Of course, my sister called me. She probably found out that I left yesterday. Well, it’s too late to call her back now.

The texts were just from my ex-coworkers wishing me luck. So sweet of them… A knock on the door caught my attention. “Come in,” I call, as I reply to my ex-coworkers. “You’re awake? How was your nap?” Felix asks, coming in and sitting on the bed. “I couldn’t sleep, but that’s okay,” I say, putting my phone down.

“Oh! Well, anyway, come out and watch TV with us. We have schedules tomorrow. Also, we’re ordering in dinner,” Felix says, pulling me out of bed. “Lixie!” I squeal, almost falling. “Sorry, but let’s go,” he laughs, helping me balance. I smile as Felix drags me to the living area. Seungmin is there and changed into a tank top and sweats, sitting on the couch scrolling through the TV. Felix pulls me to the couch and sits me between them.

“What are we watching?” I ask, hoping nothing horror-related. “No clue. You choose,” Seungmin says, passing me the remote. “Me? Are you sure?” I blush as our fingers brush. He nods, pulling out his phone and looking at something. I look at Felix and then the TV. Everything is in Korean, so I’ll just pick something that looks good and hope for English subtitles.

I select ‘Business Proposal’ because I’ve read the webtoon, so I’ll be able to follow without the subtitle. I hit play and got cozy on the couch. “What do you want to eat, Ro?” Felix asks as he starts to place the order. “I’m good with chicken and rice. I don’t eat much, remember?” I say, quietly so Seungmin didn’t hear, “Okay, are you sure that’s all you want?” “Yup,” I confirm, turning my attention to the show.

Three episodes in, the food arrives, and the boys dish it out. We move to the floor to eat while the show still plays. The boys have me eat first because I’m the youngest, they laugh, though, because I struggle with my chopsticks. “Hey, I’ve never used them before,” I giggle, taking my fork from Felix. “We’ll teach you one day,” Seungmin laughs, eating after I take a bite.

“I’ll hold you to that, Seungmin,” I blush. Felix watches as he eats with a small smirk on his face. I throw a look at him, and he shakes his head at me. I shrugged and ate my dinner. “How are you watching this show without subtitles, by the way?” Seungmin asks me, moving closer to me to watch. “Oh, I’ve read the webtoon it’s based on,” I answer him, not paying attention to him. “Ah, cool.”

Out of nowhere, I hear a photo shutter. I look over at Felix to see him hiding his phone. “Lee Felix! You did not just take a photo of us!” I accuse him. “Maybe? Who knows?” he says nonchalantly. “I’m never calling you hyung, I guess,” I smirk, knowing my bribe will work. “Oh, you can’t do that, Rosie,” he whines, holding out his phone.

I giggle and take it from him. The photo is cute… I’m staring at the TV, and Seungmin is staring at me. I quickly sent the photo to myself and deleted the photo from his phone. “There. No photos of me bare-faced to be found.” I laugh, handing it back. “But you’re pretty no matter what,” Felix whines again. “Thank you,” I laugh, leaning into Seungmin without realizing. I feel full and warm, and that makes me sleepy. I relax, slowly feeling sleep take over me.

First day over!

Chapter Text

*Seungmin*

Rosie fell asleep in a matter of minutes as the 5th episode of the show finished. I sighed as I adjusted so that her head was better on my shoulder. She feels so warm… “Seung, you good?” Felix asks, pausing the show. “Yeah, I just wasn’t expecting this,” I chuckle softly. “Seung, you guys look so cute together,” he comments, staring at us.

“Friends first, Felix,”  I sigh, glaring at him softly. He chuckles and starts cleaning up the garbage from dinner. “I would help, but yeah,” I laugh softly, gesturing to Rosie. “It’s fine. I’m glad she’s resting. She didn’t nap earlier,” He mentioned as he left the room. “You didn’t rest jagi?” I whisper, looking at Rosie sleeping soundly.

I chuckle at myself before shifting to stand up with her in my arms. Carefully, I carry her to the room next to mine and place her on the bed. I pull the covers over her and sigh as she shifts before settling. I quietly walk out of the room and run into Felix. “So you can lift her but not me?” He jokes softly.

“Well, as far as we know, she has no physical health problem like you,” I retort with a smirk. “True…” “Go to bed Lix,” I sigh, pushing my bedroom door open. “Night Minnie.” “Night Lix.”  I climb into bed after journaling real quick and settle down. Rosie is now here and right next door. I sigh and turn on my side. Sleep takes me fast.

I pray tomorrow will be a good day.

I jolted awake to a loud bang coming from somewhere. I sit up quickly and barely take in my surroundings as I leave the room. I walk down the hallway and hear arguing near the kitchen. I look around the corner to see Felix, Seungmin, and Hyunjin arguing over a broken.

“Guys! Everything okay?” I shout, hoping to shut them up. “Fa… aniyo Hyunjin!” Seungmin argued still. Felix looks my way and elbows both of them. Both boys glare at him, and all he does is point my way. They both look at me, finally realizing that I’m standing behind them.

“Rose!” Hyunjin exclaims, rushing to me for a hug. “Good morning Jinnie,” I sigh as I’m pulled into the hug. “Did we wake you?” Felix asks with a guilty face. “Yeah, you did, but it’s fine,” I mutter into Hyunjin’s chest. “We’re sorry, Ro…” Felix says, looking down at the floor.

“It’s fine, Lix. I needed to get up anyway. Kaiden and I are apartment hunting today, remember?” I sigh, pulling away from Hyunjin and walking over to Felix. He nods and pulls me into a side hug. “Okay, so why are we fighting this morning anyway?” I ask curiously. “Oh-” Hyunjin starts before Seungmin shoves him.

“We started arguing over why he’s here at 8:40 in the morning and not at his place,” Seungmin says, still shoving Hyunjin out of the kitchen. “And it resulted in a broken dish?” I laugh, moving to find a broom to start cleaning. “Yup,” Felix quips with a smirk. I come back with the broom and dust pan and start cleaning up after them.

“Ro, don’t do that. You’re a guest here,” Felix whines, trying to stop me. “It’s fine,” I laugh, as I move to grab a paper towel and wet it. “He’s right, Rosie. We would’ve got it,” Seungmin spoke up as he met my eyes. I roll my eyes at three of them before wiping the floor and discarding the towel.

“Okay?” I shrug my shoulders before leaving the kitchen to head back to my room. I grabbed a change of clothes and my toiletries and went to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I put on a simple tee and jeans with a light jacket before splitting my hair into two braids.

I put on light makeup and left the bathroom. I put my stuff back in the bedroom and grabbed my phone. I walked out to the living area and noticed the boys had left. I sighed to myself and pulled out my phone to text Kaiden.

*King Kaiden*

Breakfast?

Chan fed me!

Lucky!

I had to break up a fight!

Oh fun! lol

Only you think so…

Let’s meet up at a cafe

Food and coffee?

Please!!!

Before I leave the apartment, I save the location to find my way back later. I breathe in the fresh air as I leave the building and start walking to meet Kaiden. After walking for 10 minutes, I spot Kaiden outside at a table with food and drinks. “Kaiden!” I squeal, excited to say my best friend. “Ro!” he laughs, standing up.

I hug him before siting down to eat. “How is it at Chan and Jeongin’s?” I ask as I stuff my face. “It’s been a day, but it’s nice. Chan is sweet and Jeongin keeps to himself, but also sweet,” he nods, drinking his coffee. “How was your night?” Kaiden smirks. I pause eating and eye him.

“It was nice. I spent time with both of them, and I may or may not have fallen asleep on Seungmin’s shoulder,” I choke out, looking away. “That’s cute Ro,” he laughs softly. “Felix also took a photo of us,” I blush as I pull out my phone to show him. “Oh my god! He is staring at you! That’s so cute, Rosie. You guys need to just get together,” he chuckles as he passes my phone back.

“Friends first, Kai, then maybe,” I sigh as I finish breakfast. Kaiden huffs but doesn’t say anything else about it. “Ready to find a home?” he asks, standing to start our search. “Ready!” I cheer, linking our arms, ready to find a place to settle.

What could Hyunjin and Seungmin have been fighting about?

Chapter 24: Chapter Twenty-Four

Summary:

Minho and Jisung come over?

Chapter Text

After a whole day of apartment hunting, we’ve found 3 places in our price range, and they are close to the dorms! We have a walkthrough in 3 days, till then I’m going to enjoy time in the dorms. Kaiden and I split up about an hour ago. He was heading back to the dorm to take a nap and contact his job about his transfer status.

I decided to walk around Seoul before heading back.  I found a cute park and sat down on the grass to relax for a bit. I let out a soft sigh as I stare up at the sky. It’s about 3 pm now, and I have no clue when the boys will be home. I feel like I should head back to their dorm and surprise them with dinner.

And I’m going to do just that! I got up from the ground and looked at my map for a grocery store. As I head to the store, I write a list of what I need for Bulgogi and Kimchi Jjigae. Once I have bought the items, and rush back to the dorm. As I get into the elevator, I place the bags at my feet and text Felix.

*Sunshine Lix*

When will you guys be home?

In about an hour

Practice running longer today

Sorry Ro!

It’s okay Lix!

See you back at the dorm!

I punch the code into the door and walk in. I placed the bags in the kitchen and got started making dinner for the 3 of us and extra in case any others show up.

*An hour later*

I just finished setting the table when the door opened. Felix walks in first and spots me. “Hey Ro!” He smiles as Seungmin, Minho, and Jisung walk in. “Hey!” I smile, heading back into the Kitchen for 2 more sets of dishes. “It smells so good in here. Did you order dinner, Rosie?” Jisung asks, wandering to the table. “No, I made it myself,” I laugh, waving the other over to eat.

“You made dinner, Rosie?” Seungmin asked softly as he took the seat next to me. I smiled at him as I took in his face. He looks exhausted. I nodded quickly and looked away. Felix sat at the head of the table with Minho and Jisung across from Seungmin and me. “Please enjoy, guys,” I say, following their youngest eats first rule.

No one spoke right away as they started eating, but it was comfortable, though. Minho was my true judge. I watched him eat everything, and he showed nothing on his face. Jisung and Felix looked happy to have a home-cooked meal, which made me proud. Seungmin is quiet, but that’s okay; he has a soft smile on his face, which says it all.

*Seungmin*

Rosie went out of her way to make dinner for us. She didn’t have to. I watched her throughout dinner as she watched everyone’s reaction. She is so cute like this, I smile at her when I catch her eye. She smiled back before turning away quickly again. “Rosie, this is good!” Jisung praises her. “Thank you, Han,” she says, blushing.

Jisung and Rosie start talking about her day, and I just listen as I talk to Felix and Minho. “Han-ah seems comfortable with her,” Minho states, with an unreadable expression. “I think that’s good though, hyung,” Felix smirks, like he knows something we don’t.

I shake my head at them and stand to start gathering dishes. Rosie stood to help, but I waved to her to stay and talk. She gave in with a pout, which vanished when Jisung asked her if they could hang out together. “Yes Han! I would love to explore Seoul even more!” she agreed with a squeal.

Minho, who was carrying his and Felix’s dishes, froze, dropping the dishes. The dishes shatter on the floor, and it makes everyone jump at the sound. “Hyung!” Felix and Jisung rush to him. ‘Are you okay, Minho hyung?” Jisung asks, checking his hands for any cuts.

I just watched everything. Rosie runs to grab the broom, and it reminds me of this morning and the fight with Hyunjin. “Rosie, stop, I got this, please. You made dinner, go sit with the others.” I ask of her as she comes back. “Seungmin, I want to help,” she pleads. I shake my head and push her softly out of the room. She pouts and, with a huff, walks away.

Felix follows her, trying to cheer her up. Jisung and Minho stay still. “Are you okay, hyung?” I ask Minho, moving over with the broom. “Yes Seung,” he sighs, looking at the shattered dishes on the floor. “Don’t apologize, it’s okay,” I  say, knowing he feels bad. “I don’t know what happened. Maybe a cramp from practice?” he sighs, moving out of the way.

“Minho hyung, should we head home?” Jisung offered. Minho looked at him with an unreadable face before telling him to wait for him by the door. Jisung nodded and left, saying his goodbyes. “Are you sure you’re okay?” “Seungmin, I’ll be fine. Are you okay? Jisung basically asked out your soulmate,” Minho worries.

“We may be soulmates, but we’re not together hyung,” I sigh as I clean the broken glass. “Still Seung…” “Hyung, it’s not a date. He just wants to get to know her like everyone else in the band,” I say, trying to ease his worries. “I only hope for our sakes that it’s definitely not a date,” Minho states, before saying his goodbyes and leaving with Jisung.

I finish cleaning the broken glass and clean the remaining dishes before saying goodnight to Rosie and Felix. I quickly shower before I fall into my bed. I think over everything Minho said. I, too, hope it’s not a date and Jisung just wants to get to know her as a friend.

Chapter Text

It’s been 2 full days since I came to Korea, and it’s been a nice change so far. Tomorrow, Kaiden, Felix, Chan, and I are going to the walkthroughs of the apartments. I appreciate the help from the boys so much. It is currently 10 am on a Monday. I haven’t really left the dorm since I went apartment hunting the other day.

Felix and Seungmin are out at the moment because they have schedules to keep. I’ve just hung out and watched TV since I don’t have my PC. I’m in the middle of watching some K-drama when my phone dings.

*My Fav Quokka Han*

What are you doing today?

Nothing. What’s up?

I’ve finished my schedules early and

wanted to know if you wanted to go out together?

Sure Han! I would love to!

Awesome, I’ll meet you in front of the apartment

building in 15 minutes!

Okay!

I giggled as I rushed around. The weather is nice out, so I changed into a light green dress with a jean jacket. I brushed my hair and left it down as I grabbed my things and rushed to meet Jisung. There he stood, trying to look cool, but failing. I giggle softly at his embarrassment. He blushes and fixes his mask on his face.

“Ready?” he asks, holding out his hand. “Ready!” I took his hand and off we went. Jisung took me around to his favorite places and tried to teach me some Korean. He laughed at my attempts. Everything with him is so easy!

*Han*

Spending the day with Rosie has been so relaxing. She is so easy to be around! I’ve shown her around Korea, mainly my favorite places. I tried teaching her some Korean, but that just ended up with us laughing. “Hey, Ro, you down for some ice cream?” I ask when I spot a corner store. “Yeah, I’m down!” she laughs.

I smile. Her laugh is beautiful. I take her hand once again and drag her to the store. We pick out our ice cream and head to find a bench. I check the surroundings before getting comfortable on the bench next to her. We talk about everything: her family, my family, our childhoods, and so on. When I notice some school kids across the way.

They are also eating ice cream. I look back at Rosie and notice that she reminds me of them. Eating her ice cream happily while she kicks her legs softly. Happy smile on her face makes my heart race. Why is that making my heart race? I’m just happy that she’s happy, right? I like Minho! Oh no…

I look at her face again, and she looks at me with big green eyes and a big smile on her face. I smile back, trying to cover up my inner turmoil. She’s Seungmin’s soulmate!

I can’t fall for her!

Notes:

What? Is Han possibly falling for Rosie? What about Minho and Seungmin?

Also, I must give credit to one coworker for the idea for this chapter like a month ago. It really sparked the arc for this story!

Chapter 26: Chapter Twenty-Six

Chapter Text

After we had our ice cream, Jisung decided that it was time to take me back to the dorm. When we got to the apartment building, I turned to him. “Thank you for today, Han,” I say, leaning in for a hug. “Oh, it’s no problem, Rosie. I had fun,” he blushed, hugging me back. “We should do this again sometime,” I melt into the hug.

The response I got was Jisung hugging me tighter. I squeezed him back before pulling away. “Bye, Hannie!” I wave before running to the elevator. As I stepped into the elevator, Jeongin was stepping out. “Oh, hi, I.N,” I say, surprised. “Hey Rosie,” he says, turning to me.

I place my hand over the door to keep it open. “Are Seungmin and Felix home?” I ask. “Just Seungmin, Felix is at a photoshoot,” he mentions. “Oh.” “How was your day?” he asks me softly.  “It was fun. Why did you have Chan cancel my hotel stay?” I poke him as I ask. Jeongin sighs and shifts back and forth on his feet.

“So Seungmin would finally talk to you. That’s why.” “Innie, you don’t have to bud into our relationship. I see where you’re coming from, but things take time,” I sigh, as I let my hand slip. “Bye, Innie. Get home safe,” I say, as the door closes. I lean against the wall on the way up. So many thoughts in my head. There has to be more of a reason as to why they canceled my hotel stay.

Getting Seungmin to speak to me simply does not cut it. As I walk into the apartment, I immediately hear Seungmin singing and softly playing his guitar. I didn’t want to disturb him, so I went straight to my room and sat on the bed.

‘The song sounds so heartbreaking. Is this the song he’s been working on since before I moved?’ I sigh as I pull out my phone to play games. Felix should be home at some point, then I’ll come out and hang with them.

*Seungmin*

Jeongin came over the chat and asked about my fight with Hyunjin, before leaving soon I could work on my song. Rosie isn’t home, so the dorm is quiet… I sigh as I pull out my phone with the lyrics I’ve started to write, and grab my guitar.

I’ve been struggling with this song for a while. I have the melody, but the words aren’t coming to me like I had hoped. So far, I have the first verse and some of the chorus. I sigh as I stare at the lyrics and just play my guitar in hopes of something. I hear the door open and the sound of footsteps walking away.

Rosie must be back. I sigh now, no longer focused, as the thought of her out with Jisung comes to mind. I shouldn’t be jealous because they were just hanging out as friends. I put my guitar away and stand up from the couch. ‘Maybe we can hang out too?’ I thought, moving down the hall. “Rosie?” I mutter as I knock on the door.

“Come in!” I hear her call. “Hey…” I say as I step into the room. She’s sitting on the bed, looking at her phone, as she plays a game. “Hey, Minnie,” she says casually. I stare at her for a minute because she has never used my nickname before.

“Um… do you wanna watch a movie or something together?” I ask quickly. She freezes for a second before looking up at me. She must be trying to read my face and emotions. “Um, okay. Let me change first…” she says softly, sounding unsure. “Okay, but um by the way… You look pretty today,” I stutter before rushing out of the room.

I run back to the living area and get cozy on the couch. After 5 minutes, Rosie comes out in a Stray Kids merch tee and leggings. “Okay, what are we watching?” she asks, getting comfortable next to me.  “One, cute shirt, and two, whatever you want,” I chuckle, passing the remote. She blushes and searches the TV. She put something random on before settling more into the couch.

As we watch whatever is on, we start talking about random things. Before we know it, we’re sitting closer, and Felix is home, breaking us out of our bubble. He just smirks at us before joining with dinner in his hands.

Sometimes I love having roommates…

Notes:

What other reason could there be for Jeongin to have Chan cancel the hotel stay?

Chapter Text

Apartment tours! Felix, Chan, Kaiden, and I all meet up at a cafe for breakfast before we head to the first one. “So are you guys excited to find a place?” Chan asked as Felix and I sat down at the table. “I know I am. I like staying with you guys, but I need my own space,” Kaiden laughed, drinking his coffee.

I snorted at Kaiden’s answer. I lean on the table slightly as I look at Felix. Felix took slow sips of his strawberry juice as he waited for an answer from me. “I can say that my time at the dorm with you, Lixie, was interesting,” I quip with a fond smile. “Yeah, it was interesting. Seungmin enjoyed you being there, clearly,” Felix smirked.

“Hmm… really?” I giggle, sipping my iced coffee. “Yeah, obviously, Ro,” he chuckles. Chan and Kaiden talked about what we need with the apartment, and when to finally have our stuff flown out. “I can’t wait to get my PC back. I miss talking to Dandy_Min_Day6,” I cut into the conversation.

“Who?” Chan and Felix both ask. “Oh, I met this guy, Dandy_Min_Day6, one day after we hung out, Lix and we got close,” I explain to them both. Felix shot Chan a look, and I swear they were speaking to each other via mindlink! I watched them trying to understand the underlying. Then Felix and Chan pull out their phone, quickly texting someone before looking at me and Kaiden.

“Time to go to the first tour,” Chan cheered, standing up. We followed Chan to his car, and he drove us to the first location. The apartment is nice. 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, close to Chan’s place, but it doesn’t scream home. One hour later, we’re at the next apartment. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and open plan. It’s between Minho and Han’s dorm and Felix’s dorm. I looked at Kaiden and nodded as we talked to the realtor.

*Felix*

Apartment tours are fun! Chan and I have given our opinions to Rosie and Kaiden, and they seem to appreciate it. The first apartment was nice, but I didn’t see Rosie staying there. We’re currently at the second apartment, and it’s a nice place. Chan and I walked around as Kaiden and Rosie talked to the realtor.

“This is a nice place,” I say softly to Chan. “Yeah, and they’ll be close by,” he replies, inspecting the kitchen. Rosie let out a squeal. I smiled, turning to look at her. I snapped a quick pic and sent it to Seungmin before the others.

*Puppy*

Well apartment found!

That’s great!

Yeah she’s happy.

She’ll also be close by…

Awesome!

She also can’t wait to speak to Dandy_Min_Day6 again…

Oh?

I know it’s you

I’m not dumb!

Oh… yeah… she doesn’t know

Clearly!

I don’t know how to tell her…

Jeongin tried to push you

with her staying with us, didn't he?

Yes…

Fuck Seung…

Can we talk later with all the guys?

Yeah I tell Chan

Okay thank you!

Yup!

I sigh as I put my phone away. Seungmin… how did he get himself into this mess? Why hasn’t he told her? I pull Chan aside, and he agrees to text the others. “Felix! We got the apartment!” Rosie cheered, jumping into my arms. “Already?” I asked, surprised. “Yeah, we have good credit and stuff. They offered it to us!” she squealed.

“Well, I guess congratulations are in order,” Chan laughs, standing next to Kaiden. Rosie beams as the realtor hands her the keys. “Here you go, Miss Bell. This apartment is yours. You can move in starting tomorrow, Have a good day,” The realtor says as they leave.

“I can’t wait to move in. Call the movers, Kaiden!” Rosie smiles as we lock the apartment. I’m a little sad Rosie will be leaving, but I’m also happy that she’s happy. Chan pats my back as we walk to the car.

Now time to solve Seungmin’s problems again…

*Seungmin*

After Chan dropped off Rosie and Kaiden, I left with Felix to head to JYP to have our meeting. I don’t know why I even asked for a meeting with everyone, but it feels right. Felix and I walk in and head straight to Chan’s studio. Everyone is here already and staring at us as we walk in. “Okay, now that we’re all here, why are we?” Changbin grumbles, annoyed.

“Seungmin called for this meeting,” Chan says, tired. I sigh and lean against the wall. I study each of their faces, my eyes landing on Jeongin. “This meeting should have happened a while ago… When I found out what Jeongin-ah did with Chan hyung and when I fought with Hyunjin hyung,” I started to say. “Seungmin hyung, I’m sorry I butted in,” Jeongin sounded upset.

“Jeongin-ah, I understand why you did it… So I could tell Rosie that I’m her online friend Dandy_Min_Day6. I still haven’t told her, and I should before she moves out,” I sigh, sinking to the floor with my head in my hands. “Seungmin, you should tell her tomorrow,” Minho mutters softly. “How would I even start that conversation?” I cry, frustrated.

I feel a hand touch my shoulder, and I know it’s Chan. I lean into the touch slightly. “Just talk to her like you would as Dandy_Min_Day6,” Hyunjin offers. “I have been you, pabo,” I snicker, as Felix tilts his head at me. “Use your catchphrase, ‘Hello Stranger,’ to start,” Jeongin laughs.

“Hello Stranger? Like our song?” Jisung laughs, getting everyone to chuckle too. I look at my band mates, turned brothers of 8 years, thankful that they’re here for me and my stupid problems. “Thank you, guys.” “Of course, Seungmo. We have your back always,” Changbin says, slapping my shoulder softly.

We joked and laughed for about another hour before we all left to head home. Felix and I climbed into the car, and the drive was quiet. “You promise to tell her before she moves out?” Felix asks, pinky out towards me, once we’re outside our dorm. “I promise, Lix,” I laugh, linking our pinkies together.

We stepped into the dorm, and it was quiet, except for the sound of the TV. We walked into the living area to find Rosie asleep on the couch. “So sweet,” Felix sighs softly, moving to go to his room. “Yeah, she is,” I whisper, taking in the slight.

I have to tell her soon.

Chapter Text

I woke up to a text from Kaiden saying our items will be shipped to Korea in 5 days. 5 more days of staying at the dorms, just to sleep. I sit up and stretch my back as I take in my surroundings. I’m pretty sure I fell asleep on the couch and not in bed. Did I sleepwalk or did one of the boys carry me to bed?

I hope it wasn’t Felix! He has to worry about his back! I climb out of bed and wander out to the kitchen. To find Felix and Hyunjin making tea and sandwiches. “Hey guys,” I mumble, alerting them of my presence. “Hey, Rose. How you sleep?” Hyunjin asks sweetly.

I groaned as I opened the fridge and grabbed a water bottle. “So not good?” Hyunjin’s broken English is slowly waking me more. “I slept fine. I’m just tired and confused. Like I fell asleep on the couch and not in bed. How did I get there?” I sigh, taking sips of water. “I didn’t, I left you on the couch…” Felix pauses before smirking with Hyunjin.

“What?” I ask them. “Seungmin put you to bed,” Felix laughs as he sips his tea. “No… Why would he?” I blush, playing with my water bottle. Hyunjin throws an arm around my shoulders and pokes my cheek. I jump slightly from the action before looking at him. “Seungmin is sweet like that sometimes,” he says, with a cheeky smile. I huff before settling into Hyunjin’s side. Hyunjin chuckles and pats my head.

*Felix*

I gave Hyunjin a secret smile before walking away to get ready for the day. Seungmin and Minho both seem jealous of Rosie and Jisung. I chuckle to myself, proud of my interference. Jisung, hanging out with Rosie more, will hopefully break them both into confessing.

Jisung doesn’t really know the whole plan. I’ve just asked him to hang out with her more because Hyunjin and I are busy almost every day. I know how Minho feels about Jisung, and I can tell that Seungmin is slowly falling for Rosie.

The only thing that might break things is the whole Dandy_Min_Day6 thing. Seungmin needs to confess to her like yesterday. I sigh as I pull out my phone and open the group chat with Jeongin and Hyunjin.

*Love Solvers*

I hope Seung confesses who he is soon,

 or everything is fucked.

Maknae Bread: Same here

Art Prince: Rose deserves to know

I know!

So let’s work hard with our plans!

Art Prince: Already on it Lix!

Maknae Bread: Yes hyung!

I smirk, proud of my mates. We’re all off tonight, so maybe we can all go out. I opened the band's group chat and typed out the message.

*7 Kids and the Dad*

We’re all off tonight.

Let’s take Kaiden and Rosie out for dinner.

Aussie Bro: Kaiden can’t cause work, but I’m down!

Sunshine Twin: Same here!

Maknae Bread: Sounds like a plan

Cat Dad: Who’s paying?

Binnie Boo: I’ll help pay, someone go half with me!

Puppy: Three ways - Changbin hyung, Jisung hyung, and Lix hyung

Why Jisung?

Sunshine Twin: Yeah why?

Puppy: You always help pay!

Art Prince: That’s a fair point…

Aussie Bro: How about a fair 8-way split?

                  We all treat her.

Sounds fair to me!

Binnie Boo: Works for me!

Puppy: Fine…

Maknae Bread: Sounds like a plan

Sunshine Twin: Sure!

Art Prince: I will always treat Rosie!

Cat Dad: Fine, I guess

Great! See you all later!

Dress nicely, please!

Now to tell Rosie and pick a nice place. “Ro!” I shout, running down the hall. “Yeah?” she asks, turning to face me. Hyunjin looks at me and nods. “We’re all going out tonight, and you’re coming along,” I smirk. “Oh? Why? That’s band time…” she sighs. “Chan said so,” I wink at her.

“Okay! Fine…” “Hyunjin will help find you something fancyish to wear,” I say, walking away, searching for private rooms at restaurants. ‘Tonight is going to be fun,’ I think with a wicked smirk on my face.

Notes:

How is dinner with all 8 of them going to go? What plans do Felix, Hyunjin, and Jeongin have?

Chapter Text

Felix got us a private room at Hanmiok, the popular Korean BBQ restaurant. Hyunjin had taken me out shopping before dinner. He bought me a new dress from Versace and a bracelet from Carter. I tried telling him that it was too much, and was shut down.

We arrived at Changbin and Hyunjin’s dorm 2 hours before dinner. Hyunjin made me shower while he set up everything he needed. When I came out, Changbin was also here. “Hey, Binnie hyung,” I wave, drying my hair. “Hey, let me,” Changbin says softly, guiding me to a chair.

Changbin sits me down and dries my hair before pulling out a brush and curling iron. Hyunjin pulls out some of the makeup we bought today as well. “Guys, I can do this myself. Go get ready,” I giggled as Changbin messed with my hair.

“We are ready now, shush,” Hyunjin sassed back, eyes searching the colors. “Anyways, welcome to the ‘Changbin Salon,’” Changbin says, in a funny voice. “Oh my God,” I laughed. This was a weird Stay fan dream! Hyunjin painted my face with makeup, while Changbin styled my hair with soft curls.

When they were done, I went into the bathroom to change into the dress. The dress was gorgeous! It fell right below my mid-thigh. A black ruffled cable-knit mini dress. Not my usual style, but it made me feel beautiful. I walked out and twirled for the boys. Hyunjin smiled and placed the Carter bracelet on my wrist, and passed me a pair of heeled boots.

“You are beautiful, Rose,” Hyunjin praised. “She’s going to be turning heads tonight,” Changbin added. They made me blush and laugh nervously. I looked at the time on my phone. We had 20 minutes to meet the others. “Ready?” they both asked, holding their arms out to me. “Let’s go, boys,” I cheered, linking our arms.

Changbin drove us to the restaurant, and outside stood Felix. I guess he waited for us? “Felix!” I waved once out of the car. I fixed my dress as Felix walked over. He took in my appearance before nodding. “You look stunning as always, Ro,” Felix comments. “Thank you, Lix. Let’s go in,” I squeal, linking arms with him.

Felix guides us to the room, and you can hear the others already. I smile as we walk in. The others look up and smile back. Seungmin and Jisung seem to be the only ones who didn’t rejoin the conversation as I sit down next to Felix. On one side, it’s Felix, me, Jisung, Minho, and Jeongin. On the other side, it’s Chan, Seungmin, Hyunjin, and Changbin.

Once we’re all seated, we place our order. I let Felix order mine since I still struggle with Korean. I look around the table, and everyone is talking to someone. My eyes fall back to Seungmin, though. He’s been quiet since I walked in. “Hey, Minnie,” I say softly. “Hey Stranger,” he replies. I tilted my head at him a bit. ‘That saying seems familiar,’ I thought.

“Stranger?” I whisper, my eyes on him. Food arrived, and Chan started cooking some of the beef, and so did Minho at the other end of the table. Everyone settles into eating once Jeongin has the first piece. My mind is still trying to figure out why ‘Hey Stranger’ seemed familiar. I must seem to be lost in thought when Jisung brings me back by waving a hand in front of my face.

“Huh?” I say, slightly startled. “You good, Rosie? You zoned out,” Jisung asks, concerned. “I’m sorry, Hannie. Lots on my mind,” I apologize with a small bow. “You’re good, Ro,” he laughs softly. “I did ask… when do you wanna hang out next?” he stutters out, blushing. “Oh, um…  I’m free the next 5 days, and then I’ll be busy with setting up my apartment for a few days…” I say to him, not seeing the glare from Minho and Seungmin, stop talking to Chan.

“Oh, I’m free in 3 days. Do you wanna hang out then?” “Of course, Hannie. I can’t wait,” I smile, letting out a small giggle. Jisung chuckles before relaxing visually. I turn back to my plate and look over at Seungmin. He’s hiding his feelings from me again. That’s nothing new now. I frown as my eyes wander down his frame. He seems tense, fingers clenching his chopsticks.

“Seungmin?” I say so softly, worried. “Yes?” he tensed out. “Are you okay?” “I’m fine. I’ll be right back,” he spats out, getting up from his seat and leaving. He has never spoken to me like that before.’What did I do?’ I feel my hands shaking slightly, so I sigh and stand up. Felix turns and looks at me, a questioning look on his face. “Bathroom,” I mutter before leaving the room.

Once I stepped out of the room, I walked outside. I need air! Once outside, I sat on a bench, trying to steady myself. After sitting there for about a minute or so, someone sits next to me.

“Rosie…”

Chapter Text

“Rosie…” the person said softly. I look up to see Changbin. “Binnie hyung?” I wonder. Why did Changbin follow me? “Rosie, are you okay?” he asks, treading softly. I’m not okay, really… What did I do to get that tone of voice from Seungmin? “I’m okay, hyung. Today has just been overwhelming, that’s all,” I say, with a sigh.

Changbin didn’t need to say anything. He just sat with me in silence for a bit. He softly grabbed my hand as he hummed a soft melody. “Binnie…” “Hmm?” he hummed, rubbing his thumb over my hand. “Thank you,” I whisper, looking up at him. “Anytime,” he smiled.

We stayed like that for another 5 minutes, until out of nowhere, Seungmin pops up.  He looks at us and then at our hands before scoffing and walking off again. ‘What is wrong with him?’ I get off the bench and follow him. I need answers.

“Kim Seungmin!” I shout once I catch up. He stops, but doesn't face me. We’re back inside the restaurant now. People are surely going to watch, but I don’t care. The fans would eventually find out about me. “Seungmin, what the fuck was that?” I shout. He scoffs, but still doesn’t face me. ‘What the fuck?’ I feel like crying.

“Face me, please,” I cry. “No…” No? What? “Why? What did I do?” I feel myself breaking. “You’re my soulmate, but why are you hanging out with Jisung and holding hands with Changbin?” he spats, finally facing me. “What? Seungmin, nothing is going on. I’m just getting to know Jisung, and Changbin was calming me down from an anxiety attack,” I say, confused, where is this coming from.

‘Sure,” he mutters. I feel his barrier around his emotions slip. Jealousy, disappointment, and the faint feeling of something else. I feel my tears start to fall as he just stares. “Seungmin…” “I don’t want to hear it right now. Please, I need space,” he cuts me off, before walking away.

I fall to my knees as I break fully. Space? Why does he need space? We’re just friends, well, barely. I feel arms wrap around me as I continue to break. “Shush, my Rose,” Hyunjin whispers, as he craddles me in his arms.

*Seungmin*

Fuck this. Fuck my heart. Seeing her smile at Jisung and Changbin like that killed me. “Seungmin!” Voices yelled. “Fuck off, please,” I shout back, as I walk to my car. I feel myself pinned to the car by arms. Changbin…

“Leave me be, please.”  “No, you’re hurting yourself and her for no reason, Min,” Chan moves behind Changbin. “I need space,” I sigh. “No, you’re running, because you’re jealous over nothing and caused a big scene, “ Felix shouts at me.

“How can I not be jealous?! She smiles so differently at Changbin and Jisung. Like they’re her net! What about me? Her soulmate!” I shout out, slowly breaking. I feel Rosie is already broken, and I’m not far behind. I can’t be here. I need space to think. “Let me go, please,” I whisper.

Their faces change to concern. Changbin lets go and moves away. “Min…” I put my hand up, stopping them. “I need space to think. Have her stay with you, Chan hyung, please?” I ask, climbing into the car, not waiting for an answer. I pull out and just drive off. I didn’t go back to the dorm right away. I couldn’t… I went and sat at a park to think.

What is wrong with me?

Chapter Text

3 days have passed since Seungmin and I fought. I’ve been staying at Chan and Jeongin’s dorm since. Kaiden has been trying to get me out of bed since I showed up. I only get up to eat and use the bathroom. I feel so out of place. The way we left things was horrible. I cried until I passed out that night, and since I’ve been numb.

Some of the boys have either texted, called, or shown up just to try talking to me. I’m meant to go out with Jisung today, but I should cancel. “Rosie Ann Bell, get up out of this bed!” Kaiden shouts, walking into our shared room. I groan and roll over. He huffs and drags me out of bed.

I scream as I hit the carpeted floor. “Kaiden! What the fuck?” I screech, trying to kick him off. “Get in that fucking shower, get dressed, and go outside with Jisung, right now,” he yells, dragging me to the bathroom. I flail my arms and kick my legs. “Uh, should I come back?” I hear Jisung’s voice ask.

I stop kicking and look over his way. Chan, Jeongin, and Jisung were watching us. “Fuck…” I whispered, embarrassed. “No Jisung. Just hang with them while I get her around,” Kaiden says sweetly. Kaiden picks me up and puts me on my feet before pushing me into the bathroom. ‘Kaiden!” I shout, banging on the door. “Shower!”

*Han*

Rosie looked so embarrassed on the floor. You can tell she’s a mess with everything going on. Kaiden walks back and lets out a sigh. “Sorry about that. She’s being stubborn. I think she was going to cancel, but she needs this,” he says, looking back at the bathroom door.

“Has Seungmin contacted her at all?” I ask. “No, she hasn’t messaged him either,” Kaiden sighs. “Hannie hyung, take her to the Han River,” Jeongin suggests, after looking up from his phone. “Why?” I ask, curious. “Just do it and don’t ask questions,” Jeongin smirks.

Rosie came out of the bathroom dressed in a flowy pink dress and sneakers. She gave me a small smile when she stood in front of me. “Hey, Ro,” I say softly. “You ready?” she mumbles, ready to run from the pity stares that the others are trying to hide. “Let’s go,” I say, holding out my hand for her to take. She takes my hand and we leave the dorm. We don’t really talk, but I can tell Rosie has relaxed a bit. She really needed this.

“Ro…” I start as we walk hand and hand still. “Yes, Sungie?” “Why haven’t you talked to Seungmin yet?” I ask softly, not really pushing it. “He wanted space,” she sighs, looking down. “So you gave it to him…” “Yes,” she sniffles. I stop walking and pull her into my arms. My heart is breaking for her. I think about how Minho has been ignoring me for the last 3 days as well.

Does Minho like me? Is he jealous like Seungmin? I shake those thoughts out of my head as I drag Rosie over to sit under a tree. I took her to the Han River like Jeongin told me. As we sat down, her tears slowed. “I’m sorry, Sungie,” she whispers, wiping her tears away.

I swat her hands away and wiped the remaining away myself. When done, I hold her face in my hand. She’s still so beautiful after crying. “Jisung?” she whimpers. “You are so beautiful,” I let slip out. I get lost staring into her eyes, to really notice I’m slowly leaning in. “Jisung,” she whispers, confusion in her eyes.

“Tell me to stop, Rosie,” I mumble. Close to her lips. Her breathing hitches, and she freezes. I freeze waiting for a sign. “Stop,” her and another voice say. I pull away to find Minho with Felix. Minho looks furious, and Felix looks concerned. “Han Jisung! What are you thinking?” Minho yells at me in Korean. I shudder and move farther away from Rosie.

“You know she’s Seungmin’s soulmate and on top of that she’s hurting,” he continues, coming closer to me. My breathing hitches when he gets too close. “What do you have to say for yourself?” still yelling at me. “Hyung, I need to know if my feelings were real or not!” I shout back. “You’re feelings for her?” he huffs, still really close.

“Yes, but I’m sure that we’re just friends,” I whisper, looking him in the eyes. “Friends?” he raised an eyebrow, not believing me. “Yes, because I’m in love with someone else.” “Who?” “You hyung,” I whisper, the weight finally free. He looks surprised, but not long, cause next thing I know he’s kissing me.

“Fucking finally,” Felix shouts out in relief. Rosie just stares shocked at what was happening. “Come on, Ro. Let’s leave them be,” Felix snickers, pulling her along. Jeongin and Felix set this up! Evil bastards! We pull away from the kiss, foreheads touching. “I love you,” he says softly.

Okay, I forgive them for this.

Minsung has finally happened!

Chapter 33: Chapter Thirty-Three

Notes:

Posting 2 chapters today for you guys!! This week is going to be a weird one. On top of Seungmin's birthday, I'm going to be celebrating my own 2000 September baby. My sister Stephanie's birthday is the 29th of the following week, but we're celebrating on Saturday! So my work schedule is all over the place, so next Sunday I might post just the normal two, but nothing else this week.

Chapter Text

As Felix dragged me away, my mind was reeling. Jisung almost kissed me one second, then the next, he’s making out with Minho! “Felix, stop!” I yell at my blonde friend. He stops dead, and I crash right into him. “Ro?” “No, I need a second,” I sigh, shifting from side to side.

“Come back to my dorm, please?” he asks, worried about me crashing. “No, take me back to Chan’s, please? I need Kaiden,” I plead with him. “Ro, please. Seungmin…” he starts, before I just walk away. “Rosie!” he shouts, chasing after me. “I’m not talking about this, Felix.”

He huffs and takes my hand, pulling me to a stop. His face is desperate, pleading. I look away with a sigh. Why should I go back there? Seungmin asked for space! He should come to me! “Felix, I’m going to Chan’s. If he’s ready to talk… he can come there,” I put my foot down.

Felix gave in and walked me back to Chan and Jeongin’s dorm. Felix typed in the code and walked in with me. To my shock, Chan, Kaiden, and Jeongin were all waiting. “Thank you for bringing her back,” Kaiden says, standing up from his spot next to Chan.

I watched Chan’s face change slightly before it was masked with concern. I have questions for Kaiden later. “Everything okay? Where is Jisung?” Jeongin asked. “Everything is fine,” Felix winked. Jeongin nodded and smirked like he won 1st prize. Kaiden grabbed my hand and dragged me to our shared room.

As soon as we’re in the room, Kaiden locks the door. I sigh as I fall onto the bed, ready for his questions. “Where is Jisung?” Kaiden asks, sitting next to me on the bed. “Probably home getting fucked by Minho,” I say, casually. “What? When?” Kaiden gasped.

I explained what happened at the park to Kaiden. His face is changing a mile a minute, before he puts a hand on my shoulder. “Are you okay?” I shifted to my side, laying my head on his thigh. ‘Am I okay?’ I thought. Jisung almost kissed me! Then, made out with Minho right after! “I’m okay mostly… I’m a bit confused, but I’m happy for them,” I sighed softly.

“Felix tried to take you to Seungmin?” “Yeah, but I held my ground.” “Good. I’m proud of you, Ro,” Kaiden says softly, soothing my messy hair. I looked up at him as I tried to blink away the tears. “Thank you,” I whisper, trying not to crumble again. “Always,” Kaiden chuckles.

After a few minutes, I calm down and something is on my mind. “Kaiden?” I ask innocently. “Yeah?” he mumbles, shifting in bed. “What’s going on with you and Chan?” I smirk.

Chapter Text

*Felix*

I sigh as I have Chan and Jeongin’s dorm and head to mine. Minsung has gotten together, but Rosie and Seungmin won’t talk… I rub my face as I slowly see my building appear. Seungmin hasn’t left the dorm since everything happened. Hyunjin and I have been trying to get him to leave his room, but it’s been of no use.

He’s barely eating or sleeping. Rosie not coming with me was my last idea on what to do! I unlock the door and step in. Hyunjin and Changbin are sitting on the couch. “Nothing?” I ask, already knowing the answer. “He cried today… that was different,” Hyunjin sighed, running a hand through his short hair.

“Because she was meant to hang out with Jisung today,” I reminded him. “How did that go?” Changbin asked. “Minho and Jisung are together, but not before Jisung almost kissed Rosie,” I explained as I dropped onto the couch. Changbin and Hyunjin stayed for a bit longer before leaving to go home.

I sighed, walking down the hall to Seungmin’s room. “Seung?” I call out. “Go away.” “I just wanted to tell you that Minho and Jisung are together finally,” I sigh, leaning against the door. “Really?” I hear softly. “Yeah, it happened while Jisung was out with Rosie,” I mumble.

“They were out together?” his voice cracks. “Seung… come out… go talk to her,” my own voice breaking. “I don’t know,” he cries. I try to open the door, but it’s locked. My heart breaks as I hear him crying softly, and I can’t comfort him. “Unlock the door, please,” I say softly. “Please go, Felix. Let me figure things out first.”

“Seung… I just want to comfort you,” I cry. “I don’t deserve that right now, Lix,” he sobs. My tears start flowing at his words. ‘How can he think like that!’ I push away from his door and go to my room. I pull out my phone and text Chan.

*Aussie Bro*

I don’t know what to do…

About Seungmin?

Yeah, he’s crying now…

I’ll try and talk to Rosie

No promises though

She already told me that she won’t come here…

He has to come to her…

I see her point there

He asked for space, and she’s giving it

He needs her…

Why won’t he admit it?

So does Rosie…

They’re both stubborn, Lix.

We just need to help them at their own pace.

Okay…

I place my phone down on my nightstand with a long sigh. ‘Help them at their own pace…’ is the only thing on my mind when I fall asleep. How long is this going to take?

Notes:

I hope you guys enjoyed the two chapters!! As I said in the post before, this week is going to be a weird one. On top of Seungmin's birthday, I'm going to be celebrating my own '00 September baby. My sister Stephanie's birthday is the 29th, but we're celebrating on Saturday! So my work schedule is all over the place, so next Sunday I might post just the normal two chapters, but nothing else this week.

So see you guys next Sunday at the latest!!!

Chapter 35: Chapter Thirty-Five

Summary:

Kaiden and Rosie are in their apartment finally!! Also, a run-in?

Chapter Text

It’s been 3 weeks now since Kaiden and I moved to Korea. It’s been a week since the fight with Seungmin. A week without talking to or seeing him. Kaiden and I are officially settled in our new apartment now, as of the end of last week. This week I’ve spent setting up everything! Having our own space again makes me so happy!

“Rosie! When do you want to go shopping? We need groceries!” Kaiden whined as he walked out of his bedroom. “We can go now if you’re ready?” I laugh, placing a plate down in the cabinet. “Yeah, I have two hours before work today. So let’s go!” he rushes. I laugh and grab my bag and phone, before slipping on my shoes.

It’s the beginning of July now, and the summer heat is crazy in Korea! Kaiden and I walked about 10 minutes to our nearest grocery store and sighed in relief at the cool air inside. We grabbed a cart and started with produce. As I scanned the fruit, Kaiden said he was going to look at the meats. I grabbed oranges, apples, blueberries, and bananas before grabbing veggies.

As I reached for some peppers, I accidentally bumped into someone. “Oh my! Joesonghapnida,” I say, quickly with a small bow. “Rose?” the person laughed. I look up and there is Hyunjin laughing at me. I give him a quick glare with a slap on his shoulder.

“Rose, ow! Long time no see,” Hyunjin whined, rubbing his shoulder. “Hi Jinnie. It’s been almost 2 weeks,” I say with a sad smile. Hyunjin gave me a small smile before pulling me into a hug. “How are you? How’s the new apartment?” he rattles off, squeezing me. “I’m okay, and the apartment is ready for visitors,” I laugh, squeezing him back.

“Oh, good, maybe we’ll stop by,” he says. “We’ll? Who’s with you?” I ask, pulling away. “Um… Changbin and I were tasked with dragging Seungmin out of his dorm while Felix is away at a shoot in Paris,” he mutters quickly. I take a deep breath and pull out my phone. I texted Kaiden to grab the list of items I had sent him and to meet me at the register.

“I’ll text you later, Hyunjin, okay?” I say weakly. “Rosie, please just look at him. Just once?” Hyunjin pleads with me. “Hyunjin no… He wanted space, so I’m giving it to him,” I sigh, quickly grabbing the remaining veggies I needed and walking away. Why can’t these boys understand that he asked for space?

As I head to the register, I spot Changbin and Seungmin. Seungmin looks lost in thought as Changbin is talking to him. I sigh as I take in his appearance. He looks tired, and I think he’s lost some weight, too. ‘Is he not eating or sleeping?’ I shake away the thoughts with a sigh.

Kaiden walked up to the cart and put the items in. “Ready to go?” he asks, not even noticing 2 of the members standing off to the side. I blink and shake my head yes, ready to leave. We walk to the register, put our items up, and wait for our turn. Once our items are scanned, I pay as Kaiden loads his arms. Just as we’re about to walk out the door, my name is called.

“Rosie?”

Chapter 36: Chapter Thirty-Six

Seungmin's P.O.V., and we see how Seungmin has been dealing with everything!

Chapter Text

*Seungmin*

“Rosie?”

Her name fell from my lips, fearful of her being real. She freezes before turning around slowly. The look on her face makes me almost look away. Disappointment and longing are tied together. “Not here, Seungmin,” is the only thing she says before leaving with Kaiden.

I let out the breathe, I didn’t know I was holding. Changbin and Hyunjin grabbed the groceries before dragging me to Minho and Jisung’s dorm. As we walk through the door, cheers are heard. “Already playing without us?” Changbin whined, setting down the items we bought.

“Sorry you guys took too long,” Jeongin snickered, placing down the controller. “Oh well… it was busy at the store,” Hyunjin said, trying not to dampen the happy mood. I sigh and walk off to the kitchen. I search for beer or something stronger when Jisung walks in. “What are you searching for, Min?” he asks, leaning against the door frame.

“Something to help me get drunk so I can forget the past few weeks,” I groan as I find one can of beer in the fridge. “Seungmin, that’s not going to help you…” He sighs as I chug the beer. ‘Not completely. You only have one can. Only you get drunk on one,” I snicker, slamming the can down, once empty. Jisung huffs at the mention of tolerance before walking away, passing a confused Jeongin.

Jeongin looks at me with a raised eyebrow. “Everything okay?” the younger asks. “No, nothing is okay…” I sigh, wanting to just go home. “Min hyung…” Jeongin says, with a look of pity on his face. I groan and rub my face. I don’t need anyone’s pity. I let my feelings get in the way before seeing what was actually happening.

“I don’t need anyone’s pity. Go hang out with the others, Innie.” “Hyung.., don’t push us away also, please?” Jeongin mutters before walking away, also. “I’m not… I promise,” I whisper, leaning against the fridge. Everything has been crazy since my fight with Rosie. Stay has been asking questions about her and our relationship. Management has handled it, thankfully, before it really blew up.

This wasn’t the way I wanted Stay to meet Rosie. I wanted to confess my feelings to her before announcing anything. Of course, I fucked that up as well. I pull myself away from the fridge to walk back to the others. Everyone is having fun playing video games, while I stand back watching. Minho looks up from his spot on the couch (next to Jisung) and shoots me a concerned look.

I wave him off before sinking more into the background. I see him whisper something to his boyfriend before getting up. “Seung… talk to me,” he says softly, standing next to me. “I fucked everything up. I got so jealous it clouded my vision. I hurt both of us, hyung,” I crumble.

“You let your feelings cloud your judgment. It happens, puppy. You can still fix this,” Minho says, understanding. “How?” “She’s playing games again with Felix. Time to come clean with her about Dandy_Min_Day6,” he suggests. “Dandy_Min_Day6…” my gamertag sparks an idea. “Thank you, hyung,” I smile, hugging him. “Of course,” he sighed, happy to see my smile.

Notes:

I hope you enjoy the two chapters today! I'll be back next Sunday cause my work schedule is weird again this week! I'll have another two chapters for you then!! See ya soon!

Chapter 37: Chapter Thirty-Seven

Summary:

Hello again Dandy_Min_Day6!!

Chapter Text

It’s been a few days since seeing Seungmin at the store, which left me in a weird state. I barely leave my room currently, but it doesn’t help that Kaiden had to start in person at work this week. I think I’m lonely and maybe depressed. Felix and I played games yesterday while he was free. It helped a bit, but then he had to go.

I sigh, sitting back in my desk chair. Felix won’t be back in Korea for another 3 days. Hyunjin is busy with schedules, just like everyone else. I look at my clock and see that it is 2 pm… What should I do?

Ping!

I sit up and stare at my computer… Dandy_Min_Day6! Oh… I haven’t thought about him in a while…

*Dandy_Min_Day6*

Uh, hey stranger…

It’s been a while…

Hey! It surely has!

How is Korea treating you?

I love it here!

How are you?

I’ve been better…

A lot of things have happened.

I hope some good?

Yeah it started great…

And then I fucked up…

It can’t be that bad…

The girl I’m falling for…

Hates me….

We had a bad fight…

I miss her!

I sat there, shocked. I feel so bad for the guy. This kinda reminds me of me and Seungmin. Maybe I can help…

Before I can type back, I feel a rush of anxiety? No, this isn’t that…  Seungmin is letting his feelings slip… There are so many! I feel so overwhelmed! I pull out my phone and call one of the guys. “Rosie?” Changbin answers. “Binnie hyung, where is Seungmin?” I cry. “Why? What’s wrong?” he asks, worried.

I  can hear a chair moving and the hum of a machine. Shit! He’s at the studio! “Rosie? You there?” he calls through my thoughts. “Seungmin dropped his wall. I’m so overwhelmed, hyung.” I whine, slipping to the floor. “Ro, just breathe. He might not realize what he’s doing. I’m heading to his dorm now,” I hear keys jiggle and him telling, I’m guessing the rest of 3racha where he’s going.

“Ro, breathe okay? Hyung will figure out what’s going on, okay?” I let out a shaky breath before murmuring an okay. My computer dings. A new message from Dandy_Min_Day6. I slowly got up and looked at my computer. “Binnie?” I ask slowly. “Ya Ro?” I hear him driving.

“Dandy_Min_Day6 is quoting Stray Kids…” Changbin was quiet on the other side for a second. “What did he say?” “I’m so empty and hopeless…” Changbin swore under his breath. “Ro, talk to him, okay? I’ll handle Min,” he says, hanging up on me. I pinch my nose, a headache forming thanks to Seungmin. My focus needs to be on Dandy_Min_Day6.

*Dandy_Min_Day6*

I’m empty and hopeless…

Don’t say that!

I’m sure you can fix things with her.

I can’t

She doesn’t want to see or talk to me…

I wrote a song about everything I’m feeling…

That’s so sad to hear that she won’t see or talk to you.

I’m sorry.

It’s not your fault.

I’m the reason we fought

The reason we’re not together in the first place.

I fucked up and lost my soulmate…

Soulmate?

Yes… my soulmate…

I lost my soulmate…

How?

We fought over stupid stuff…

Was he jealous?

Yeah… over nothing…

He has my heart…

He’s had it since before we met in person…

You love him?

Of course…

What’s your real name?

We never told each other…

I’m Rosie, you?

Hello stranger, I’m Min…

Min…

Just MIn?...

No, it’s a nickname…

Min, you said you’re falling for your soulmate?

Yeah, and then I fucked up?

I got jealous over nothing…

Just like mine?...

Yeah, small coincidence?...

Yeah… lol

I have to go, my hyung is here…

Oh okay! Bye…

Bye Rosie…

That was strange… Dandy_M- I mean, Min is dealing with practically the same issue as me with our soulmates.

What a coincidence…

Chapter Text

*Jeongin*

Seungmin has finished the song he’s been working on! He’s coming over to my dorm with Chan hyung to show it to Chan.  “Jeongin!” Chan called from the kitchen. “Yes, hyung?” I call back, walking to our kitchen. “Um… Kaiden just asked if we wanted to come over for dinner…”

He looks conflicted on what to do. I know he has a thing for Kaiden, but this is new. I smile at him before grabbing a water bottle. “Let’s go then. Is it for just us or everyone?” I ask, hoping it’s everyone. “Just us.” “Okay, what time?” I ask, sipping my water. “6 pm, Kaiden will be home around then.”

I just nod and smirk, knowing Kaiden is going to rush home to see us. Knowing Chan is going to have us leave early to be there on time. “I’ll be ready by 5, hyung,” I laugh at his blush. “Why do you need to be ready by 5?” a voice asks. I spin around and smile at Seungmin.

“Chan hyung asked me out and I said yes,” I lie, laughing. Seungmin looks at Chan, and Chan just blushes deeper and laughs uncomfortably. Seungmin shakes his head and places his phone and notebook on the counter. Chan walks over and looks at the song.

“Silent Cry? We already have a song called Silent Cry…” Chan states, reading over the lyrics. “The title can be changed. I’m not really stuck on it myself,” Seungmin countered, his head downcast. “Seung… are you okay?” Chan asks, concerned, placing down the notebook.

“I’m going to be okay, hyung. This song… is a reflection on my relationship…” Seungmin says softly, like he’s trying not to break open. Chan pulls Seungmin into his side for a hug. As Chan comforts him, I grab the notebook. My eyes catch the bridge:

‘I’m crying in the bathroom

Hiding away from everyone

Their faces will only judge me

I’m so empty and hopeless

(Empty and hopeless)’

I look over to my hyungs, and I understand how Seungmin is feeling. His relationship with Rosie is still on the rocks and neither has made a move. “Seung, studio in two days. We’ll record this for SKZ player,” Chan says, patting his head.

I quickly leave the room to text Felix and Hyunjin. In two days, Rosie will visit said studio.

Chapter 39: Chapter Thirty-Nine

Summary:

Chan and Innie are Rosie and Kaiden's place... c;

Chapter Text

I’m going to murder Kaiden! He decided to invite Chan and Jeongin at the last minute for dinner! Thankfully, they won’t be here for at least 30 minutes. I’ve been rushing around my kitchen for an hour, preparing food. I’m not going all out. I’m making a simple Western dish from childhood. Tuna Noodle Casserole.

It’s my favorite dish! I’ve also prepared vegetables for sides. As I set the table, Kaiden rushes in. “Everything okay?” I ask as I place down a plate. “Well, yes… Just excited to see Chris again,” he smiles, taking the silverware from me. I giggle at my best friend. I’m happy he finally likes someone.

“Did you talk to Min again today?” Kaiden asks me. “Ah, yes,” I answer as the bell rings. “They’re here,” Kaiden squeals, running to the door. I laugh as I finish setting the table. I should’ve known Chan would come early. I walk over to greet them and take the bottle of wine they brought.

“Thank you guys,” I smile before walking away to check on dinner. I place the wine in the fridge before opening the oven a bit. “Need any help?” I hear Jeongin ask. I close the oven and turn to him. “Um… Innie, you’re a guest. I would never ask a guest for help,” I smile softly at him.

“Ro, I’m your friend, not a guest,” he laughs as he teases me. “Jeongin,” I laugh. “Please let me help, noona,” he says softly. I give in. How could I not? Being called noona for the first time made me want to jump for joy. Jeongin is the only Stray Kids member younger than me! To hear him call me noona felt wonderful.

I had Jeongin move the veggies to the table as I grabbed the casserole out of the oven. Everyone but me has taken their seat. Kaiden is sitting across from Chan, but next to me. Jeognin sits next to Chan but across from me.

Chan and Kaiden seem to be lost in their own world as they talk to one another. I look over at Jeongin to find his face stuffed with food. “Is it good, Jeongin?” I laugh, grabbing a napkin for him. Jeongin takes the napkin with wide eyes. “Absolutely noona! Can I have dinner with you often?” he says as he stuffs his face again. “Jeongin, I would love to have you over more! Maybe next time everyone will be here,” I say, thinking about the future dinners.

“Even Seungmin?” I freeze for a second. Seungmin… We need to talk at some point. I miss his smile and witty comments. “Yeah, even Seungmin,” I whisper, longing to see my soulmate. “Rosie, do you wanna visit the studio?” Jeongin asks randomly. “Why? Am I allowed?” I question, looking over at Chan.

“A new SKZ player is getting recorded, and I thought you would like to see the process…” Jeongin answers quickly. “Oh, is Chan okay with that?” “You’re a member's soulmate, I don’t see why not. You’re learning your soulmate's job,” the younger laughs. “Fine, I’ll come visit the studio,” I sigh, giving in again.

“Awesome, I’ll pick you up in two days.” I nod, hoping this is okay…

Chapter 40: Chapter Forty

Summary:

Rosie is visiting the studio, not knowing Seungimn is there...

Chapter Text

Today I’m going to visit Chan’s studio! I can’t wait! I quickly got out of bed and into the shower. I brushed my teeth after blow-drying my hair before picking out a simple outfit. I pulled on a light green t-shirt and some high-waisted jean shorts. I pulled out a pair of sneakers and sat at my desk. I put on a simple lip gloss and braided my hair to the side.

I gave myself a once-over before getting up and leaving my room. Kaiden was in the living room, ready to leave for work. “Excited to go to the studio?” Kaiden laughs as I walk in. “Of course I am! Jeongin should be here soon to pick me up,” I say, all giddy. “Well, I hope you have fun, Ro. I’m off to work. The office has a big client meeting today,” Kaiden says, running out the door.

I giggle as I wave goodbye. I look down at my phone for the time. I open the Discord app on my phone after seeing a notification. Min and I have been chatting a lot. It feels like we’ve known each other for years. Talking to him feels like there is a pull. Like the one I feel for Seungmin… A knock on the door breaks my thoughts. Jeongin!

I run to the door with a huge smile on my face. I quickly open it and let Jeongin in. “Ready to go?” he asks, leaning against my doorframe. I nod, grabbing my keys and purse.  I stop for a second, just to take in Jeongin: black cap, face mask, a simple shirt, and sweats. No makeup in sight. I smile at the younger as I lock the door. “Let’s go, Jeongin-ah,” I giggle.

Once in the car, my phone dings with a message from Min. I quickly answer it before locking my phone. “Who was that?” Jeongin asks, never taking his eyes off the road. “No one,” I say quickly. “Rosie, tell me,” he whines with a chuckle. “Innie, do you really need to know?” I laugh softly.

“Noona… please? We’re friends, friends tell each other everything,” he says, as he parks the car. “Jeongin… it was my gaming friend, Dandy_Min_Day6…” I say, giving in again to this boy. Jeongin goes silent before climbing out of the car. I follow him, confused why he went quiet. Does he know something?

Jeongin got me signed in and passed me a visitor pass before guiding me to the elevator. I leaned against the wall as we went up. My nerves are on fire! As the door opens, Jeongin pulls me along. We stop in front of a door that says 3racha. I take a deep breath before we step in. Music was already playing softly, Chan and Changbin tuning it as it played. I look around, taking in the studio before freezing…

Seungmin is in the booth. I was tricked by Jeongin? No, Jeongin wouldn’t do that… Right?

Chapter Text

*Seungmin*

I can feel Rosie’s presence like she’s here with me. Chan, Changbin, and I have been in the studio for about two hours now. They were fine-tuning the music before I got into the recording booth. Once I got into the booth, I placed the headphones on my head and set up the lyric sheets.

This song is about loneliness, needing someone, heartbreak, and depression. I wrote after everything happened with Rosie. This wasn’t what I was originally writing… but this just came to me. The music starts, and everything seems to freeze. I missed my cue as I felt something was off. I look over at Chan and signal him to start over.

Chan nodded and started the music over. I open my mouth to sing when I see Changbin move out of the corner of my eye. He seemed happy; maybe one of the members is here. I finish the first verse when my heart stutters. Rosie's presence is near… I look up at Chan, and I see Rosie standing next to Jeongin. Why is Rosie here?

I quickly take the headphones off before stepping out of the booth. I slowly look up at her, praying she’s really here. “Min hyung! Vocals sound great so far. Rosie, don’t you agree?” Jeongin asks, breaking the frozen air. Rosie looks at me as she nods slowly. “Yeah, it sounds great. Stay is going to love it,” she responds, almost like a robot. Chan clears his throat, breaking our eye contact.

“Okay… so Jeongin brought Rosie here for a behind-the-scenes look at how everything is done,” Chan explains, before making me get back into the booth. I sigh as I watch Rosie sit on the couch. She quickly types on her phone before putting it away. I feel my phone vibrate, but I ignore it and try to focus on the song.

*Rosie*

As Seungmin starts singing, I focus on how the production is done. I've seen videos before of the boys in the studio, but this is different. Changbin motioned for me to come over. As I moved over, I let myself listen to Seungmin sing. He’s recorded the chorus twice now, saying it felt wrong to him both times. Changbin had me sit next to him and showed me some stuff while Chan talked to Seungmin.

“Let’s go again, please, on the chorus,” Seungmin said, ready to nail it this time. Chan nodded and motioned for me to hit the button. I pointed to myself, shocked that he wanted me to do it. “Go ahead, Rosie,” he laughed. I pressed the button and the track started. I smiled as Chan patted my head, like a proud father. I turn my attention to Seungmin’s singing. It’s clear and soft, the emotions, though. It made me feel heartbroken.

`Please someone fix me

I don’t care who

I just need someone (Anyone)

Help me mend this shattered heart. (Ooh)’

“That’s the one, Seungmin-ah,” Changbin states, before they move on to the second verse. Seungmin starts again, and I wonder who wrote this song. Which member feels like this and is having Seungmin sing it?

‘So scared to be myself (Don’t leave me alone)

Scared I’ll do something (Irrational)

Something I shouldn’t (Woah ooh)

Oh why can’t anybody see what’s happening?’

I stand up and excuse myself before walking out. The song is hitting me hard.

*Seungmin*

After doing the second verse, Rosie walks out. I ask Cahn for a quick breather and follow her out. I found her sitting on the floor in the hallway. “Rosie?” I call cautiously. She jumps before looking up. “Sorry. Are you okay?” I ask softly. “Oh, I’m fine, the song just hit close to home,” she waves me off.

I sigh before sitting next to her on the floor.  She moves away a bit before standing. “Seungmin, I don’t need you to comfort me. Go back to work, okay? I’m fine,” she said, walking to the other side of the hallway. “Ro-” ‘No, Seungmin… I should go home,” she cuts me off. I jump up to my feet quickly to stop her.

“Stay, please,” I plead softly, reaching for her. “Seungmin breaks over come on. Let’s finish your song,” Changbin called, as Jeongin pushed past him. “Coming!” I sigh, moving away from my soulmate. I nod to Jeongin as I pass him, walking back to the booth.

*Rosie*

The song is Seungmin’s?! I’m confused. “Ro, are you okay?” Jeongin asked. “Who wrote the song?” I whisper. “Seungmin,” he answers casually. “Jeongin, take me home, please.” “Not yet… We need to talk first,” he disagrees, pulling me to the elevator.

I follow along quietly, wondering where we’re headed. The doors open to a different floor. I recognize it from their videos. Jeongin pulls me along to the dance studio. The rest of the members are all here. “Lixie,” I smile as I’m pulled into a hug right away. “Having a fun tour?” he laughs, pulling away.

I nod as we move closer to the others. We all sit on the floor, and then the air shifts. “Rosie… can we talk about your gamer friend?” Jisung asks softly. “Which one?” I ask, confused. “Dandy_Min_Day6,” Minho replies. I looked at the boys, shocked. Only Chan, Felix, Changbin, and Jeongin know about him.

‘Ro, what do you know about him?” Hyunjin questions me. “He likes baseball, he loves his hyungs, he plays guitar. He currently has problems with his soulmate because of what he did and is scared to lose her,” I tell them, wondering why it sounds a bit familiar. Everyone was silent for a moment before Jisung moved closer to me. The look he gave me made me feel off. Like I’m missing something.

“Ro, who does he sound like?” Felix asks, taking my hand slowly. “Who should Min remind me of?” I look at them all. What am I missing? Sure, Min feels familiar, and every time I talk to him, Seungmin’s feelings shoot through me. “Rosie… Dandy_Min_Day6…” Jisung started before stopping.

He looks conflicted, like he wants to tell me something important. I take his hand and rub it softly, silently telling him to continue. He goes to open his mouth, but Minho cuts him off. “Rosie… Dandt_Min_Day6 is Seungmin,” Minho blurts out.

What the fuck?!

Chapter Text

“Rosie… Dandy_Min_Day6… is Seungmin.”

My body freezes, but my mind goes crazy. All the things adding up… but why didn’t he tell me? I can hear the guys trying to gain my attention, but my thoughts are all on connecting the dots between Min and Seungmin.

Baseball, singing, guitar… etc How did I not notice these things? My soulmate has been talking to me for months! “Rosie!” I hear Felix shout. My body catches up with my thoughts… I stand up quickly and make my way to the door. “Ro wait!” Jisung calls, and everyone is on their feet.

I pause at the door, my hand on the handle. “Rosie, jagi… wait. Don’t talk to him while you’re in this state of mind,” Hyunjin said softly as he appeared at my side. Hyunjin takes my face in his hands gently, wiping the tears I didn’t realize were there.

“Jinnie,” the only word I said before my feelings caught up to me. My eyes burned with more tears. Everything becomes overwhelming as I let myself fall. Hyunjin and Felix there catching me as it happens.

*Seungmin*

I sigh a I listen to the track back for the last time. It’s finished. “Good work, Seungmo,” Changbin says, clapping my back. I smiled back slightly before I felt my eyes prick with tears. An overwhelming wave of feelings hit me all at once. “Seung? What’s wrong?” Chan, ever observant, asks worriedly.

“Rosie,” I whisper softly, reading myself to leave the studio quickly. “She’s with the others in the practice room. Let’s go make sure everyone is okay,” Chan says, staying calm, sensing a change. Chan’s phone dings not even a second later.

“It’s from Innie… Fuck… Seungmin,” he swears, reading his phone. “Hyung?” Changbin tries to calm the older down. “Seungmin, you never told her! About Dandy_Min_Day6!” Chan shuts, upset. I sigh before looking away, ashamed. I hear Changbin trying to calm Chan.

“Seungmin, they told her,” Chan says after he calms down, stepping closer. I move before I realize what I’m doing. Chan and Changbin are behind me as I move. My only thoughts are about her. How do I have to make things right and now?

I need to tell her I love her.

Chapter 43: Chapter Forty-Three

Summary:

Seungmin and Rosie finally talk!

Chapter Text

*Seungmin*

“Seungmin, slow down,” my hyungs call out behind me. I made it down to the practice room in five minutes before stopping at the door. I peek in through the small window and freeze. The sight of her crying in Hyunjin’s arms breaks me. I made her cry like this again! I step away from the door, my own thoughts trapping me.

“Seung? Break out of it,” Chan calls, breaking my spiral. “Channie hyung,” I whimper, as Changbin opens the door. I can hear her cries slow down and footsteps from someone. Chan pulls me back to the doorway, and in front of me is Jeongin. Jeongin pulls me into the room as Hyunjin moves from Rosie.

“You guys need to talk and now,” Minho sighs, taking in everything. “Everyone but Seungmin and Rosie out,” Chan orders. I stand by the entrance as my members leave. Rosie, now standing, looks ready to run. Felix looked back at both of us. “Work this out, please,” he pleads, before shutting the door.

I sigh, wondering how to start this. “Minnie, why did you hide who you were?” Rosie says, getting right to the point. I stare at her before speaking, “I wanted to get to know you without the fame and possibility of Stay finding out.” “Seungmin, I’m a Stay… and I didn’t connect the dots! I feel so stupid!” she cries. “You’re not stupid, jagiya. You are my soulmate, and I’m sure that you knew deep down,” I say carefully, as I step closer. ‘You're perfect in my eyes’ is what I also wanted to say.

“Seungmin… I,” she stops, choked up. “Rosie… I’m so sorry for not telling you about how I’m Dandy_Min_Day6, and I’m even more sorry for fighting with you. You are my soulmate, and I broke you. I got jealous of you hanging out with my hyungs. I let it ruin us.” I break, falling to my knees in front of her. “Seung-”

“I’m in love with you. The day of our fight, I wanted to tell you, but I had to sort myself out first. I was so overcome with jealousy that it clouded my brain.  I went to take it all back and start over with you, but-” I’m cut off by warm lips.

*Rosie*

I’m kissing Seungmin! I feel him kiss me back slowly, almost afraid it’s not real. I pull back slightly and press our foreheads together. “Seungmin, I forgive you, but I’m sorry also. I should have seen what you were feeling. You are my soulmate, Min. Yours… but that doesn’t mean that you can’t feel jealous. I’m sorry for taking so long to talk to you, also. You asked for space, and I should have fought after a few days.”

“Jagi, it’s okay. Thank you for giving me time to sort myself out, but I should have made the first move, not you,” he whispered, as he circled his arms around my waist. “Min, I love you. I want to start over with you.” I sigh as our bond sings. Seungmin pulls away and takes my hand, with a smirk on his face. “Okay then, let’s start over,” he spins me around, straight into his arms.

“Why hello there, stranger, my name is Kim Seungmin,” he laughs. “Hello, Kim Seungmin. I’m Rosie Bell,” I giggle, as I wrap my arms around his neck. “I love you, jagiya,” Seungmin says, pulling me closer. “ I love you too, Minnie,” I say, staring into his beautiful eyes.

Just as we were about to kiss again, the door opened. “Finally!” we hear everyone shout. I hide my blushing face as I laugh. Those boys will be the death of me! “Hey, now that you guys are together. I have a question,” Jisung says. I look over at Jisung, ready to hear what he has to say.  “Why do you only call Changbin hyung-hyung and why hyung and not oppa?” he asks.

The other murmurs in agreement. “Um, well… My Korean is still terrible.  Two, I’m used to hearing you guys calling him hyung, and three… Changbin has only been called that because it felt right. I felt safe with Binnie. Do you all want me to call you oppa?” I ask, turning to the older members. “If you're comfortable, I don’t see why not,” Chan says, speaking for them. “Okay, so then, Channie oppa, Minho oppa, my Binnie oppa, Hyune oppa, Lixie oppa, and Seungminnie oppa, thank you,” I smile as their faces brighten as I call each one.

“Noona, you made them so happy, it’s gross,” Jeongin whines, drawing attention. “Oh, you poor whiney maknae,” I sass, quickly walking over to him. “No!’ Jeongin says, backing up. “But Innie…” I sigh, holding my arms up.

The boys seem to catch on and grab him, pulling us all into a group hug. I let out a laugh as Jeongin complains. I feel Seungmin adjust his hold in the group hug to just hold me, and I let out a soft sigh.

Finally, we’re together and I couldn’t be happier.

Chapter Text

*Two Years Later*

“Rosie, hurry up!” Kaiden yells down our hallway. I sigh as I pull on my heeled boots. Today is the last show of Stray Kids' latest world tour, and Kaiden and I are surprising the boys. It’s been about a year and a month since they left. Text and video calls have been our life til today.

For two years, Seungmin and I have been officially together. Stay has taken it well, and sometimes I get spotted. JYPE has helped with keeping things private away from Stay and my safety. Also, Kaiden and Chan got together! Stays have yet to find out about them! (It’s been a year for them!) “Rosie Ann Bell!” “Coming!” I yell, laughing.

We leave our apartment and head to the stadium in a company car. We’re let in through the back and guided to where we’ll be sitting. I sigh as I adjust my Seungmin jersey. Seungmin bought it for me after he realized my bias was Jisung and that I had nothing but his SKZOO, PuppyM. It was cute. Kaiden and I settle in our seats. Soundcheck was over before we got here, which is fine by us. I just can’t wait to surprise them.

*Seungmin*

I sigh as I sit down after hair and makeup. The final show of our latest world tour is back in Korea before we go on break. I’m excited to spend time with Rosie and my family. I grab my backpack and pull out a tiny box. “Seung… You bought it?!” Minho asks, noticing the ring box.

“Yeah, I plan on asking her while we visit my parents,” I smile fondly at him. The others cheered me on, and then we were called to the stage. The crowd erupts in screams as the music begins. Chan smiles at us before we walk out. Immediately, the crowd got louder. Happiness and surreal adrenaline pulses through me as we perform. It makes me wonder if Rosie is here.

“Minnie!” I hear Felix shout. I look over to find standing in front of my girlfriend. Her eyes shine as I spot her. I make a quick heart to her before singing my line in ‘Half Time.’ After, we break and I turn to Chan. We're doing solos tonight, and I have one that isn’t released. I wrote it for Rosie, for when I proposed.

“Chan hyung, let’s change my solo. I’m going to do it tonight,” I smile as we all change. “You sure?” he smiles, ready to change things. “Never been more sure,” I smile, grabbing the ring box.

*Rosie*

Seeing the guys in their element makes me so happy, but I’m a bit confused as to why they switched up the solo order. Seungmin, in every video I’ve watched, went third, not last. Hyunjin just finished his solo and sent me a wink before a soft melody filtered through the stadium.

There in the middle of the stage stood Seungmin, with his guitar, and he started to sing.

“Walking through the crowd, never looking for a sign

Just another Tuesday, living on my own time

Then you turned the corner, and the world just froze

A feeling hit me harder than anyone knows

Like a cosmic punchline, a song I couldn't write

Suddenly, the darkness was flooded with light

I didn't believe in destiny, not a single thread

Thought 'happily ever after' was just something I read

But then your eyes met mine, and the air grew thin

Felt the universe whisper, "Let the chase begin."

Tag, you're it, soulmate, didn't even see you coming

A lightning bolt connection, my heart finally drumming

No more running, no more hiding, the game is finally done

I surrender to this feeling, my one and only one

From a million faces, you're the one I'm meant to find

Tag, you're it, soulmate, leave the past behind.

The rules are unspoken, the connection's loud and clear

Every conversation erases every fear

It's like finding a compass that points directly north

Suddenly I understand my true and genuine worth

Every step I stumbled, every road I took

Was just leading me closer, written in a book.

(Bridge)

It's an easy surrender, no fight left in my stride

Now I finally know where my whole life can reside

In the warmth of your hand, in the truth of your smile

I've been found, I've been chosen, after all this while.”

Tears are flowing down my face, slightly blurring my vision, so I didn't notice the boys walking over to me. “Hey, Ro,” Chan smiles, holding out his hand. “Oppa,” I smile a watery smile as I take his hand. The boys led me to the stage as Seungmin played his guitar solo. But as soon as I was on stage, we locked eyes.

Fans are cheering in the background, but I pay no mind. Seungmin smiles as he sings the rest to me, walking towards me. My heart is racing. There is so much love in his eyes.

“Tag, you're it, soulmate, didn't even see you coming

A lightning bolt connection, my heart finally drumming

No more running, no more hiding, the game is finally done

I surrender to this feeling, my one and only one

From a million faces, you're the one I'm meant to find

Tag, you're it, soulmate, leave the past behind.

(Outro)

Oh, you're it... my soulmate, my forever game.”

Tag, you're it,” he sings the last note. I feel the boys back up, and the stadium goes quiet as Seungmin starts to speak. “Rosie Ann Bell, where do I start?” he laughs, standing in front of me, out of breath. “You drive me crazy. We didn’t start off well, but we fought for love in the end. You are more than my soulmate, but you're my destiny come to reality. You have to put up with a lot because of me, and you do it with grace. Rosie, I was going to wait and do this, but this feels right,” he says, getting down on one knee.

“Min,” I gasp as fans scream. He pulls out a beautiful emerald ring. “Rosie, jagi… will you marry me?” he asks softly, hope swimming in his eyes. “Seung…” my breath caught as tears fell. I look at him fondly before nodding my head. “Is that a yes, jagi?” he teases, blinking away his own tears.

I grab his mic and smirk. “Yes, Seungmin, I will marry you,” I laugh as the crowd screams louder. Seungmin places the ring on my finger before pulling me into a loving kiss. “You’re mine,” he whispers. “Mhm, well, first you have to catch me,” I laugh. “Oh yeah?” he smirks down at me.

“Yeah! So tag you’re it,” I laugh, tapping him before running off. “Oh, it’s on,” he shouts, chasing me backstage. He catches me easily, pinning me to a wall in the green room. “Tag you’re it, soulmate,” he whispers into my ear, and I sigh, melting. I’m ready to chase him through life.

Forever and Always!

The End!

Notes:

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this story. It means so much!
Thank you for the kudos as well! I started writing this because I wanted to get back into writing, and with all your support, it has made me decide to write another story right away. I finished writing this story 3 weeks ago, and I have since started writing the next, as well as an actual book! Now the next story will be about once I reach chapter 10, and I finish editing the chapters. It won't take me long, I'm currently writing chapter 6!

But seriously, thank you! I love writing with a passion, and to be happy about it again brings me so much joy!
I'll see you guys again soon! Keep an eye out!

-Tay

Notes:

This is my first Stray Kids fanfiction... I've written other works on Wattpad, and I've finally come over here.
I've been inspired by so many other stories to start writing my own. It is a work in progress, so forgive me if updates are not often.
