Chapter Text
He had left.
Gone back to Tawan like he always did because Tawan was what Kinn described as the perfect Omega.
Short, feminine and plump.
He thought that this time it would be different but who was he kidding.
Kinn only needed Porsche when it was convenient and Porsche was pathetic enough to let him. Every time Tawan and Kinn had a fight and broke it off Kinn would find himself crawling into Porsche's bed. He would give Porsche hope with every smile, every word only to rip that hope from Porsche's fingers the moment Tawan wanted Kinn back.
It was pathetic.
Porsche felt pathetic.
Vegas had no such qualms reminding him of that often enough.
If it wasn't made clear Porsche and Kinn were step cousins and their families had been outraged when it came out what Kinn and Porsche were doing but nothing could be done.
There would be bigger scandal if either Kinn or Porsche were sent away so it was best to keep them close to home so that no one could come up with more rumours.
That did not stop them from hammering it into Porsche that what he was doing was not only taboo but it made them disappointed.
Just to clarify, they weren't disappointed in Kinn for doing it, just in Porsche because he was the Omega in the equation. He was the one society expected to stay clean and pure and untouched.
It spread farther than just his family, the disappointment, the disrespect. Most Alpha's would beg for mercy if they looked a Theerapanyakun Omega in the eye and yet Porsche still found them looking him in the eye because they had no respect for him. They had no care for repercussions because Porsche's family had shown their distaste towards his actions even in the public eye.
Porsche's last straw didn't come when Kinn went back to Tawan or when his mother gave him a knowing look but rather when Vegas had looked at him and scoffed.
"It's like he has you on a leash and at this point I think you like it." Vegas had said and Porsche's entire body froze.
It took him two nights to come to terms with what Vegas had said and come to the realization that Vegas might be an ass but he was right.
Kinn was treating Porsche like a dog. Only relevant when he wanted love, care and attention but the rest of the time Porsche was left behind. He had to get out, he had to get away. He needed a new start.
So he opened his email and searched until he found it. There, in his inbox lay an application.
Porsche specialized in childcare, specifically in the medical field and he was currently one of three people, worldwide mind you, with his credentials to not only be involved in medicine but in psychology of children of all ages. His parents still said he was a nurse every time the family asked because titles that sounded fancy were better than titles no one knew about.
His boss at the current hospital was a beta and she had given him this with a, "In the events that you realize you are more deserving" and she handed it to him.
The job was in America, far enough away from Bangkok for Porsche to start fresh and new without having the constant reminder of why he was starting fresh hanging around him like nothing happened.
As soon as Porsche accepted the job he was given a week to pack up and for that entire week he kept it silent. He pretended nothing was amiss and like everything was going as it usually did. He was acting too normal and it's telling that nobody noticed any of it.
As silent as possible and just a few hours before leaving he let it slip to Thankhun, told him to keep it a secret and two hours later Porsche was in the air and no one could reach him.
They would be able to call but they would not be able to find out where Porsche was or how to track him in any way. A farewell gift from Arm. Blocks on everything but the moment Porsche needed help he'd be able to ask for it from the people who cared.
It wasn't like they took it seriously. His family had each tried calling him only once. They probably thought it was temporary. They wouldn't think it was a tantrum, Porsche was never allowed to throw tantrums because that would have been judged too.
Two months in and they didn't even blow up his phone. They called every few days, talked about generic things and then moved on. If they had been blowing up his phone every day he'd have started cursing them out and not because he was irritated with their calling.
You see a month into his residency he found out he was pregnant. Kinn just could not leave him alone could he!
Of course not because just when Porsche decided to start working on himself he has the biggest, most important and fragile responsibility thrown onto his shoulders.
He went to his aunt, his father's older sister, for help. She had moved to America shortly after separating from her husband and had been staying there ever since. She had started her own consulting firm and was considered the best in her field.
He wanted her help because he knew she wouldn't go blabbing to his family. She and her brother spoke but only in passing.
She was quick to insist he stay with her, insist that she will look after him. She didn't want to leave him alone in his apartment while he was pregnant while she was right here and ready to help. She offered before but he was insistent that he be allowed to try living on his on but a pregnant Omega alone is where Peach drew the line.
The hospital was rather accommodating, something he was afraid would be the opposite. Although he thinks it's because they are afraid he'd get snatched up by another hospital and they'd lose out on an asset.
He stayed with his aunt, worked his ass off at the hospital and the months flew by for others but for Porsche it felt like an eternity.
Morning sickness, headaches, picky eating, fatigue. He was put on bed rest for the last two months of his pregnancy because it was taking too much of his energy.
Through all this only his Aunt knew and when his parents did call on occasion he made sure they never figured it out.
Telling them he can't video call because he was working seemed to work like a charm every time. No one back home knew and it would stay like that up until Porsche decided his kid was strong enough to enter that environment.
His family wasn't abusive but they were rather behind on the times and they raised their kids like that. Thankhun is nuts so he kind of missed the indoctrination, Kim has always had a mind of his own so it was mostly Vegas, Macau and Kinn but with society changing most of what they were told was shaken off. Porsche just didn't want his kid to feel inadequate because he or she did something that their grandparents didn't think fitted the mould.
Back to the present. Porsche had gone into labour early in the morning on October 30'th.
He had gotten up after experiencing night sweats and wanted to take a shower. Only his contractions started in the shower and he fell after a particularly painful one hit him. He injured his shoulder and twisted his ankle and aunt Peach had held his hand and told him everything would be okay and the paramedics were on their way. Porsche got to the hospital an hour later and twenty four hours after his labour started was when he finally started crowning.
On October 31'st Porchay Pichaya Kittisawat was born and was only placed in Porsche's arms day's later. Labour had taken it's toll and Porsche had been put in a medically induced coma to help his body recover all the blood he had lost.
Aunty Peach had been there with him. Holding his hand and encouraging him through it all. Peach will forever remember how it felt to feel his heart slow down and his face nearly drain of colour entirely. How it felt to hear him call out to her and begging her to not let him die. Peach had broken the moment it was confirmed that Porsche was still alive and that he'd recover but it would be slow.
All she could think was what would she tell the Theerapanyakun's if he had died? How would she have told her brother his only child died? How would she have been able to keep Porchay save and as far away from the shit show Porsche got away from?
Porchay would later be confirmed to be an Omega and that just solidified Porsche's resolve to stay in America and keep Porchay a secret from his grandparents and his father.
It would be a few months after Porsche and Porchay got settled that Porsche's baby cousin, Boston, came to live in America. He wanted to study photography and felt America was the best way to go.
He had been welcomed by both Porsche and Peach with open arms and Boston had been sworn to secrecy when it came to baby Porchay.
Everything was quiet. Everything was peaceful.
Porsche was moving on from Kinn with Porchay being his only reminder and it was a miracle that Porchay looked so much like Porsche even while he was still a baby. He was still sought after by people in the medical field for his credentials and his expertise.
Peach was still number one in her field and with Boston here she was much more happy, more open and more free. She found more time for her son as she now had more reasons to stay home as often as she could.
Boston was thriving in America and he was thriving being around his older cousin. Two Alpha parents and no Omega to soften the edges and now Porsche, newly mothered, was doting on him and cooing over him. Positive attention went a long way as they say.

Porchay was a month old and he was lively.
If he wasn't crying for food he'd be babbling incessantly. Trying to look around and observe everything he could.
Porsche was lucky to have Aunt Peach nearby for when he had questions or worries. Like why Porchay sneezed that one time because Porsche had never heard him sneeze like that.
Porchay sure did bring a lot of life into the condo and it was very much welcome.
Porchay was two months old when he got his first inoculation and Porsche doesn't know who cried more.
He knows how important shots are but did his baby have to be jabbed? It did not help that the doctor was someone Porsche knew and while he inoculated Porchay he was laughing at Porsche.
Porchay was four months old when he was taken back to get his second set of inoculations and it was the same doctor.
Porchay got ice cream and Porsche cried something fierce.
The doctor laughed at him again and he was really contemplating telling the ass he was no longer invited to brunch.
By six months Porchay was ready for his next set of shots and Porsche prepared himself.
He knew what to expect, knew what would happen and knew that even if Porchay cried that it would hurt for only a moment. He can make it through the third time without any problems. No crying, no wailing and no dramatics.
It did not work out like that and Porsche was made fun of by the man he was so uninviting from brunch.
Porchay was twelve months old when he had to go in for his last set of inoculations and Porsche started crying long before the needle was taken out and Porchay looked very much unbothered at his very emotional very dramatic mother.
Porsche got a sticker for not falling onto the floor and Porchay got an ice cream for being so brave.
Porchay was twelve months old and he had discovered how to walk. At first Porsche thought running after a crawling baby was hard but now he's actively trying to stop said baby from falling into ever single thing.
Peach keeps laughing at his paranoia and says she was there once too and that Boston turned out fine.
Scrapes, bumps, bruises and all.
That did not calm Porsche down because this was his baby and every time Porchay got up Porsche started panicking.
Porsche took Porchay to work with him as there was a day-care there who accepted babies and he did not want to overwhelm Boston with his coursework and a baby all in one.
By the second hour mark of his shift the entire nurses station was absolutely smitten by Porchay.
Not just because he was a lively baby but because he looked like the carbon copy of his mother who everyone at the Nurses station adored because Porsche always brought them donuts and coffee at the beginning of each shift and was quick to stand up to Doctors who always seemed to think themselves above the nurses. Porsche has more credentials than they do combined so technically he's above them.
By age 1 Porchay started saying words.
'Car.' 'Cat.' 'Fridge.' 'Boston.' and such and he was starting to slowly learn more and put them in sentences that made absolutely no sense but Porsche was proud nonetheless.
By age 2 Porchay started going to day-care.
Boston had to pull Porsche away before he started crying and trying to take Porchay home.
So no.
Raising Porchay wasn't easy because Porsche was an emotional wreck every time Porchay achieved something because Porsche was proud and motherhood had him crying at every little achievement.

Porchay was five, Porsche was just entering his late twenties and Peach was getting ready to retire so that she could spend more time with her son and very active little nephew so that Porsche could go further in his field.
In those five years Porsche and Boston became close, not Kinn and Porsche close because Boston and Porsche are blood related and it's weird. Boston was lost, in a sense, and Porsche was like a beacon that helped him find his way.
Where Porsche went so did Boston. Ever eager to play the little duckling to his older cousin. Ever eager to feel needed and loved. Porchay absolutely loved Boston and his chaotic energy.
Life was good, everyone was thriving and sure, Porsche still got the occasional calls here and there from his family but they were all too busy with themselves to keep it up and he preferred it that way. He preferred that they only call and he be left to his own devices.
The less they meddled the more he could live without them. The less they meddled the more he could move on and move forward without the weight of expectations being lumped on his shoulders.
He's gotten the occasional call from Kinn, he was drunk more than half the time and slurring about good times and shared memories and experiences. He doesn't pay it much mind since, well, it no longer concerns him. Kinn and Tawan's on again off again relationship no longer bothers him because he's no longer stuck in the middle. He no longer feels like he's replaceable or just a place holder.
The dating scene in America was hard, especially since he had a kid in tow but he still managed to win a few dates here and there. Get his rocks off whenever and such. So he was thriving where needed and that was enough for him.
Then things took a bit of a tumble.
Porchay had just been put to bed when Peach, Porsche and Boston, who were sat in the sitting room drinking wine in an attempt to unwind from the day's events, had gotten the invite.
The annual family dinner was coming up.
It was not a fun family dinner. It never was and never will be.
Everyone always sat neat and poised. Everyone had to be on their best behaviour with forced smiles and promises to call when you hate each others guts. People so keen on one upping each other that they didn't care who got hurt. It was always a dick measuring contest between who had the highest position, who had the newest car, who had a kid, who got married, who's wedding was better and it was always exhausting.
Then after, when the extended family has left and you're not extended family, you get the privilege of sitting in a room with everyone else and there is always a fight that breaks out that only get's resumed when you meet again. The Kittisawat family and the Theerapanyakun family loved fiercely but they hated just as fiercely. Public image was most important and fuck the rest that came after. Porsche was already the fuckup by being involved with Kinn and Boston was also considered a fuck up because he was Peach's son and he wanted to go into photography instead of other fields like medicine, law or business.
Fields that everyone in the family went into on some way shape or form.
If you asked Porsche there were enough doctorates sitting at the table and Boston was the only one who was shaking it up enough to keep things interesting.
Porsche was not going.
He had Chay to think of and taking him there and introducing him to the entire family would be a shit show of epic proportions. He'll be staying here in America where he knows his baby won't get taunted and teased. Where he knows the only thing expected of Chay is to wear the same pair of socks for longer than an hour.
"Not going. They want to see me they can make an appointment." Porsche declared and Boston snorted into his water.
"If Porsche isn't going then neither am I. I refuse to sit through it with the only person I like not in attendance." Boston said and Porsche high fived him.
"So I have to go all on my own and suffer alone?" Peach asked with mock hurt at their decision to stay behind.
"Mae, you're a lawyer. Can't you just draft a letter and say you don't want to go due to the emotional duress it would put you under? Kind of like a cease and desist letter but you just want them to stop contacting you on top of not visiting." Boston said and this time Porsche laughed.
"What would you even call that? Emotional turmoil and class action? How do you word it?" Porsche asked as he leaned back trying to stop his laughter.
"Due to the emotional distress Cousin Vee's attempt at Pudding gave me a few years ago I humbly and wholeheartedly refuse your invitation as it may continue to cause me further distress in the long run." Boston answered and Porsche choked on his water the moment it was said.
"You did not just bring up Vee's attempt. I thought we agreed to never talk about that monstrosity ever again." Porsche said and Boston stuck out his tongue.
"You two are the most unserious people I know and I have represented the government." Peach said as she shook her head and RSVPD for the diner while both Porsche and Boston sent their thanks but also their condolences for not being able to attend.
Porsche conveniently had work that whole month and Boston conveniently had a major project due that had to be given orally and it counted as part of his grade.
They will both conveniently not do any of the things they said they have to do on those days and go to the fair with Porchay.
Porsche and Boston walked into Porsche's room and fell onto the bed like two dead bodies an hour after and just sat there in the silence.
"Porsche," Boston called out and waited for his cousins attention to be on him before he talked, "Do you think that I'm bad at love?"
"Why would you say that?" Porsche asked.
"Just answer the question, please."
Porsche was silent for a while before he spoke.
"I don't think you're bad at love. I don't think anyone's bad at love. I just think you don't know how to love the right way."
"What do you mean?"
"You were never shown the right way to love. Uncle always had a new girlfriend and he always dated others behind their backs and aunty was so picky when it came to choosing someone. You just never realized how to love and be loved. You followed the examples given and sure, some of it is your fault but you were given a blueprint and no one helped to correct it." Porsche said.
"Oh."
"Why do you ask?"
"It's just something one of my friends said. He said I didn't know how to love and I thought about it. I've been thinking about it and I couldn't help but agree."
"You just need someone to teach you. Besides, you've been doing good for a while now. No random hook-ups, no broken hearts, no binge drinking. That's progress, even if you don't feel like it is." Porsche said and Boston just sighed before he turned on his side and promptly cuddled into Porsche's side.
Porsche held him and he couldn't help but feel a little resentful at the whole thing.
Porsche had been thought love is transactional. He'd have to bring more to the table than the other party because he wasn't a prize to be won, but that he was an object to be bartered and sold.
Boston had been though love is replaceable. That if someone is not meeting your standards, you can throw them away and try again with someone else because you mattered and not them.
Their parents did the best with what they had and what they had been thought but that does not mean Porsche couldn't see the unfairness in it all. Couldn't see how Kinn was praised for his promiscuity while Porsche was shamed for his. How Kinn had more doors opened for him while Porsche had to claw his way into medical school because his family made it clear. Alpha's got handed what they needed while Omega's had to show how hard they would work for what they wanted.
He sighed as he patted Boston's back.
Nothing to be done but look forward and hope for the best.

Nampheung was fuming.
The invitations for the dinner had been sent out last night and this evening, when she finally had the time to check the replies, she saw Porsche had declined.
Six years, six fucking years of not seeing her son face to face and the one time she wants him to come home so that she can see him and not just hear his voice over a stupid fucking speaker and he can't make it?!
He has limited time as it is and now he won't even come and see them for a few days?! This was Peach! This had her written all over it!
She stormed out of her room and down the stairs as she dialled a number and headed for the backyard. She wanted to rage and the house echoed.
"What have you put in my son's mind that he's refusing to come home!" She screamed down the speaker as soon as Peach picked up.
"I didn't tell him anything. It was his decision."
"His decision?! He doesn't see us for nearly six years and he just decided to not see us all the one time every five years we can actually see each other?!" That wasn't Porsche! Porsche loved this family! He came home and didn't stay away for long! He didn't pick something over them! Peach has! She's done it countless times in the past so why wouldn't she try and push someone else into doing it with her this time.
"Yes. He has work."
"Work?! Work?! He chose work over seeing us and you are telling me you have nothing to do with this!?"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means you always chose work over seeing your family! Your brother, your mother, your father and even your nephews! What did you do or say for my son to decide to choose work?!" Nampheung raged as tears threatened to spill from her eyes.
She wanted to see him. She wanted to see her baby boy. Hold him and hug him and see him smile in real life and not over a phone screen. Not hear his voice over a speaker. Not get updates about his life from seeing his socials but from him as he sits across from her at the counter, drinking tea and eating scones.
"I didn't say or do anything. Porsche decided it on his own. He has an important thesis coming up and he's the lead on the team writing it."
"It can be put off! He can come home, even for just a week." Nampheung said as her voice cracked and tears started falling.
"Pheung I-" There was a rustling sound on the other end and then, "Mama. Is everything okay?"
Porsche, her sweet baby Porsche.
"No. No it's not. Why can't you set aside work and come home? Even for just a week. Can you please just come home?"
"Mama I really can't. This isn't something I can just drop and pick up again. I have to work with the researchers and then get opinions from others and do all these tests and re-tests that just disappearing for a week can derail the whole thing. I'm sorry Mama. I really am." Porsche said and Nampheung sobbed.
"Than when will I see you? When will you decide to grace us with your presence or have we been entirely removed from your life entirely?" She asked as she rested her head in her hand.
It really felt like Porsche was abandoning them. Like he was leaving them behind and not looking back.
"Mama." Porsche said softly.
"This is why you didn't tell us you were leaving for America up until we couldn't stop you, isn't it? This is why you kept quiet up until you boarded that plane, isn't it? Because you wanted to stay over there and do what most of the Omega's on that side do and abandon their family." She cried.
Porsche just sighed.
"I'll try to visit but it can't be during the family dinner. It's too short notice. My schedule is planned out months in advance but I will try and come home for a week, maybe even two."
"You promise? You won't pretend to forget and never bring it up again, right?" She asked.
"I promise mama. Now I'm going to give the phone back to Aunty. I have work to finish. Love you, mama." Porsche said as he sent her a kiss and handed the phone over to Peach.
The two talked for a few more minutes before they hung up and Nampheung wasn't fuming but she felt drained because even if Porsche did promise who knew when she'd get to see him. When he'd decide to come home and stay like he belonged there and not like he was a guest.
She turned around and went back into the house where she went through the motions as she set everything up and gave out orders.
When the Family came home later that night she had been worried about telling them. They had all said they wanted Porsche home for a change and going from seeing him everyday to only ever getting a call was like torture for all of them. Even Vegas wanted to see Porsche and the two of them barely got along on the best of days.
After they prayed and after they talked about the usual routine Nampheung cleared her throat to get their attention.
"I have some news that I'm not sure any of you will like." She said and she heard forks and knives being put down.
"Porsche is not coming to the family dinner. He has work." She starts off but she never got a chance to continue as Pear shot up and out of his chair.
"He's not coming!?" Pear screamed and the sentiment was shared.
"He can't make it. He has a thesis he has to finish and he can't leave the team on such short notice. His schedule won't allow it."
"So now we have to make appointments to see our own son?!" Pear bellowed.
"It's not like that my love. Porsche just has no other choice."
"He does and he's choosing work over us!" Pear said and Korn growled at his brother in law to just sit down so that they can talk.
Pear sat down in a huff and Pear grabbed hold of Nampheung's hand and she rubbed circles into his palm.
"Why can't he come home? Is there a specific reason? Is there anything we can do?" Korn asked.
"Porsche is working on a Thesis and he's doing so with an entire team. He can't just up and leave on such short notice as it could set them back or derail the whole thing. He said that there's not even a thing he can do but he has promised to try and come out for a week maybe two to visit. His schedule is just too packed for him to up and leave." Nampheung said and Korn sighed but nodded.
"It would have been better to see him at home but if he can't do anything it's no fault of his. We will make sure he remembers to come home." Korn said and it should have been left at that but Kim scoffed at his fathers words.
"Something to say Kim?" Gun said as he looked at his nephew.
"A lot actually."
"Than talk." Korn said and they all adjusted themselves to hearing what they probably didn't want to hear as Kim was known for saying things others didn't like simply because they were too true to ignore.
"You all keep talking about Porsche coming home, like this is the place he considers his place of belonging while he talks about visiting. Is no one else realizing that Porsche doesn't see himself as anything other than a guest?"
"That's a little far fetched Kim. Even for you." Kinn said.
"You visit friends. You visit a house. You visit people you don't like. You stay with people you do like. Just because you suck at communication doesn't mean others do too. Porsche will come back but we won't have him back and I blame this family for it." Kim said as he sat back and crossed his arms.
"And how are we to blame?" Gun asked his nephew and Kim's eyes darkened.
"How are you not? Let's start with the big one. This family is filled with a bunch of bigots. I can fuck half the staff and you wouldn't bat an eye. Porsche sleeps with one person and only ever with one person and you lose your shit. He was trapped by your disappointed stares and archaic beliefs."
Kim turned around and pointed to Vegas and Macau.
"You two never had his back. Vegas you claim to always be ready to fight for family and standing up to said family when they are bieng unfair. When Porsche needed that you turned your back because you let your stupid ego over bieng outdone by an Omega cloud your judgement and Macau. For someone who ran to Porsche for help every time he fucked up you sure did leave him to solve his own problems a lot and you." Kim said as he turned around and pointed at Kinn.
"You have got to be the most pig headed man I have ever known. You and Tawan are on and off so much if you were a light switch you'd have blown the bulb by now. Every time you and Tawan had a fight and broke up you'd crawl into Porsche's bed like some pathetic fuck and when you've had your fill you turn around and go back to Tawan. The same Tawan who looked at Porsche like he was nothing but a waste of time and space and you, the one who claimed to love Porsche, let it happen over and over. Porsche was in love with you and you knew that and you still went ahead and gave him hope every single time. Porsche will come back but he won't come home and I wholeheartedly blame this family for it." Kim said and no one said a word.
They just looked down and a few minutes later they resumed eating, in silence.

Peach knew walking into this dinner was going to end in disaster but unlike Porsche she couldn't silence that little girl inside her begging for even scraps of attention from her parents.
Begging for love and attention that didn't come with strings attached.
It never happened. She did the same thing and expected different results and maybe she was at fault for that but you can't ever blame her for trying. For wanting her mother to look at her and not her achievements and see a daughter she loves and not a daughter she can use.
Walking in the first thing she noticed was the usual.
"I'm getting married in fall."
"Well I'm having my third child in May."
"It took me only four years to finish my degree and that's half the time."
"I have four degrees to my name and I am currently going for the fifth."
"I got promoted at my firm."
"I just made partner."
And in the middle of all of it was Pear.
He studied dentistry and opened the first clinic in the poor district, made his own toothpaste and has his own brand of toothbrush.. He was mom's favourite because he followed in her footsteps.
Peach started her own law firm and in the beginning she did small cases. Civil disputes, dui's and such so no one really paid attention to her and it was this that had them ignorant to her current success in life.
The younger cousins were listening avidly to the advice he so gladly handed out as he was being served his drink by one of the maids.
Peach saw Kinn, Kim, Vegas, Macau and Thankhun standing in the corner conversing and Peach thanked her stars she made sure to scrub herself raw otherwise they would have smelled Porsche and they'd be on her the entire dinner. She wondered how Boston and Porsche were doing right now.
They were probably already in bed. Porchay cuddled up in his Mae's chest while Porsche was curled around him.
Peach found it hilarious that Porsche did that. Curled around Porchay like he was afraid the baby would disappear and then she stopped laughing because Porsche told her he was afraid to lose Porchay. Nearly dying gave Porsche PTSD like symptoms when it came to Porchay not being around him for too long. Getting the kid in day-care was hard enough with Porsche constantly stressing himself out and working himself into a panic attack.
She just sighed and grabbed a glass of wine from the waiters tray and started off with that.
She mingled where she could and felt wanted. She kept drinking, kept talking and trying to not let the whole situation get to her. Tried not letting herself fall for their false niceties because she was now old enough to know they were false. Growing up in this family ensured that naivety didn't stay for long.
She was tipsy going on drunk by dinnertime.
By the time they had finished with their third course was when things took a bit of a turn.
One of the cousins, Bee, was pregnant and this was her first pregnancy so everyone was keen to deliver her some wisdom.
"I have very bad nausea and the ginger tea isn't working aunty. I don't know what else to try." She said and Peach perked up.
"Try some ginger and orange tea. It's not the best in taste but it helped clear up my nausea when I was pregnant."
"Really?"
"Oh yes. Ginger tea didn't work for me either and so I did some research and found the recipe. I still have it. It boosts your immune system too so I take a shot before heading to bed every night." Peach said with a kind smile.
"Oh. I'll give it a try. Be sure to send me the recipe." Bee said and before Peach could say sure or even give a nod Pear jumped in with his two cents.
"I wouldn't drink anything she has to offer you Bee."
"Why not uncle?"
"Well, we've seen what her pregnancy turned into. Best not to repeat the past. We might get a different outcome but we never know." Pear said and there was some chuckling and snorting going around the table and Peach shot her brother a glare as she sat up straight and looked him in the eye.
"What exactly are you implying?" She asked and he chuckled.
"Boston isn't exactly the greatest decision you've made. Everyone's heard the rumours. Everyone seen the kid in action. He's a wildcard who's head is stuck in the clouds and pictures of the street. I think it's best we stay away from everything you did so as to not have a repeat." Pear said.
"Repeat having my son? Repeat having a free spirit? With everything that's happened you think you can do better?" She asked because sure Boston was a wildcard and he was a bit shameless but he has always been true to himself and no one could ever take that away from him. Not to mention no one at this table can ever say they did the same.
"Boston is more than a free spirit and I think we all know that. I also know I can do better because I did. We had Porsche and sure there were some rather unfortunate events that transpired between him and Kinn, events that had us question his person, but we still raised him with discipline and structure and look at how he turned out. He's working in America as a nurse and on a thesis with a team where he's the leading researcher." Pear said and nosy aunts just had to but in.
"A thesis?"
"Leading researcher?"
"Still a nurse?"
"Of course he would."
The chatter was cut off by Peach's laughter. It reverberated all throughout the room and everyone looked at her as if she had lost her mind.
"Oh you are one desperate fool. You believed that?" She asked as she threw her head back.
"What?" Nampheung asked as she looked at Peach. Her eyes wide and her face scrunched up as if she couldn't understand what Peach was saying.
"Porsche isn't a nurse, he's a researcher, a pioneer in his field of children's medicine. Someone with his credentials is overqualified to be a nurse. He's the person doctors consult when they have a problem they don't know how to solve. Not to mention his latest thesis, the developmental effects of being raised in households where one secondary gender is favoured over the other, has been notarized, has been presented, has been featured in science magazine as ground breaking research in a field many find taboo to even glance at. We used the thesis as a cover because he just didn't want to come here." She said with a laugh.
"What?" Nampheung said and she sounded broken, hurt, destroyed.
"Not to mention. Dearest Porsche was raised with discipline and structure but you wanna know what else he was raised with? A leash and expectation on him that just kept getting tighter and heavier with every step he took while he was here with you. At least I gave Boston room to breath and realize who he wanted to be while Porsche did everything he could to leave you all behind."
She might have been a little harsh but it was needed.
Nampheung looked hurt. No she looked heartbroken.
Kim felt like his heart was ripped out. Sure he had pointed out just a few weeks ago that Porsche wouldn't come home as family but a guest. However, to know Porsche did everything he could to leave them behind and that his end goal might have been to just lose contact gradually so that he can cut them off for good because there was no reason for him to stay hurt like a bitch.
"At least Porsche doesn't follow after others like a little duckling. Tell me Peach, why does your son prefer to run to an Omega to ask for love if his mother is right there. What great parenting decisions did you make for that one to take place?"
That struck a nerve. That struck an awful and very much painful nerve because Peach knew she wasn't there. She wasn't there for Boston when he needed her the most. She chose work over family but she is trying to make up for that now and she might never get the same level of love she would have had she stayed but that did not mean she wasn't trying.
Peach slammed her hand on the table as she looked Pear dead in the eye.
"Why did your son feel he could only ever come to me when he found out he was pregnant?" She spat and she should not have said that.
She shouldn't have but there was nothing she could do to pull it back so when in doubt, escalate.
"Why did he hold my hand during contractions? Why did he call out my name every time a contraction ripped through him like a bullet? Why did he cling to me and beg me to not let him go when he thought he might die from the birth? Why did he cling to me while crying that he didn't want to die as he was slipping away? Why did he ask me to make sure you didn't know about the fact that you have a grandson? What great parenting decisions had your kid so scared of telling you things that he'd rather die than call you for any help?"
She might have escalated a lot but she stuck to her guns and no one can say she's not committed to being petty and throwing it back.
"Porsche almost died?" Gun asked as he looked at Peach with wide eyes.
"He almost died giving birth?" Korn asked as he looked at her and all she could do was nod her head.
"Why didn't he come home then? Why didn't he come home so that we could help him? Omega's are supposed to birth their pups while in the presence of their pack. In the presence of safety." Korn said as he stood up.
Peach swallowed as she fiddled with her fingers before she answered.
"Porsche considers you all pack but he didn't feel safe giving birth with you around." She said and the room's temperature dropped as forks fell onto plates, glasses fell to the floor and chairs moved as people whipped around to look at her.
"Not safe?" Gun asked as if telling her to elaborate.
"Porsche knew that the moment you knew he was pregnant you'd have him marry, to preserve the families honour. He was afraid he'd be stuck in a loveless and lifeless marriage with Kinn for the rest of his life. He was also afraid that you'd take his son away. That you'd make the decision for him." Peach said and Kinn looked like a dear caught in headlights.
"I have a son?" He asked with a hoarse throat.
Peach nodded and Pear was the next to ask with a broken voice.
"What is the boy's name?" He asked and Peach wanted to ignore him but she felt gracious today.
"Porchay. 'Por' to honour the Kittisawad tradition of giving children and mothers of the Kittisawad name matching names. 'Chay' to honour Kinn's mother." She said and Korn's fists tightened as he heard this.
"What is the boy's secondary?" One of the aunts asked.
"Porchay is an Omega."
"An Omega!" Korn yelled and everyone flinched at the anger in their head of households voice.
"Yes." Peach whispered.
"Two Omega's. Two Omega's have been failed by this family. One who did not feel safe with us, did not feel safe enough to come to us in his time of need. The other born without his families embrace. Born an ocean away from us all because you all could not do the one thing I ordered you to not do! I told you all to leave Porsche be! I told you to stop with your idiocy! I told you all to grow up and this is what I get! My nephew knows us as pack but not safety! My grandson doesn't even know us!" He bellowed and Peach was a little surprised since she hadn't known Korn told them to stop.

Peach had been seated in the sitting room for an hour now. The family members who turned a blind eye had been yelled at, the family members who stocked the flames were yelled at and now all that was left was the family that had a direct hand in having the youngest, well now second youngest, Omega in the family suffer.
Peach sat on one of the lazy boy's. Pear and Nampheung were on the loveseat. Kinn, Kim, Vegas and Thankhun were on the floor. Thankhun wasn't part of the problem but he was here to make sure he felt included and that he could personally point out any problems.
"In all my years as family head I have had to deal with a lot of stupid actions from you all. From Vegas nearly killing a man with diplomatic immunity, to Pear getting drunk drunk enough to forget what his own back garden looks like but this! This takes the fucking cake, I have no doubt about that!" He yelled at them and the entire room flinched.
"Let's start from the beginning so that we can sort this whole mess out. Firstly, why would Porsche think a marriage between him and Kinn would be loveless? The last I heard the two were getting along more than well. They were fucking each other so they were bound to actually like or at least think well of each other." Korn said as he looked at Kinn for answers.
"I don't know. I've never given him any indication that I'd hate him or be unhappy with him." Kinn said and Kim scoffed.
Korn's eyes flew to his youngest son and he raised a brow.
"What have you to say?"
"Kinn didn't say much of anything and that was all Porsche needed to hear."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Kinn asked as he looked at his brother.
"You made it clear he was an option and never the first one." Kim said as he looked away and clenched his fists.
"What the fuck does that mean." Kinn growled and Korn cleared his throat.
"Your brother is entitled to his opinion, you having a problem with that is a problem in itself. Sit down and shut up. If he thinks he knows more then maybe we should just ask him all the questions instead of any of you since he's obviously so committed to pointing out the problems." Korn said and Kinn's mouth closed with a snarl as he sat down and they all looked at Kim as if asking him to elaborate.
"You and Porsche started having your little escapades when you were both in your early teens. The first time it happened you and Tawan had just gotten into a fight and you broke up. You were so heartbroken you went to Porsche. I don't know if you went all the way but something happened. The following week Tawan showed up and you took him back. For years you created this pattern. You and Tawan would be dating, acting like you're on honeymoon and one problem arises. Next thing you know the two of you start hating each other, start cursing and trying to kill each other and you'd break up. You would go straight to Porsche, the very same Porsche who had a crush on you and gave you whatever you wanted even when you didn't deserve or earn it. You'd have your fill for a month at most and then you'd go right back to Tawan. This would happen over and over. So no Kinn, you didn't say anything but your silence told him everything he needed to hear." Kim said and Kinn's mouth hung open.
"I didn't- I couldn't- I wouldn't- I-" Kinn had no idea on what to say because at the time he didn't realize. He was just so used to Porsche always being there that he never realized he was hurting him in the first place.
Korn's face fell into his hands and he took a deep breath before he looked back up again.
"Kinn." He called and waited for his son to look at him, "Tawan will be removed from your life. You will remove him and if you don't I will, permanently. Kim. What else have I missed?" Korn asked because no one else was as blunt as Kim was and he'd get to his end goal faster if he just had Kim answering him.
"Yes father." Kinn said.
"Do you want to start with the whole he's always there for them but they are never there for him or the whole being told to act like a proper Omega is why most of his problems were overlooked?" Kim asked and Korn took a deep breath before he poured himself a bourbon and sat down.
"He was there for them but they weren't there for him, go." Korn said.
"We'll start with out of home. The cousins, both Theerapanyakun and Kittisawat always ran to Porsche when they had problems. When they needed help and couldn't go to anyone else. Porsche never expected anything in return but instead of trust and friends he got people who looked down on him and mocked him and his actions all the time. When this whole thing between him and Kinn came out it was like Porsche was thrown into the middle of the ocean with no life jacket and everyone just expected him to start swimming like a pro athlete to the nearest piece of land." Kim said.
"What exactly happened?" Pear asked.
"The cousins whispered behind his back about everything. About how he is an impure, how he has no prospects and I've even had some of them talking about how he got his position in the field he is in right now through other means. Not to mention the rest of the underworld picked up on this and they took it in stride. I've had to run off more than one desperate Alpha. I've also seen Alpha's from minor backgrounds look him in the eye because no one ever makes sure Porsche is as protected as Kinn, Vegas, Macau and I are because he's an Omega and this whole family would rather see him die than one of us hurt." Kim pointed out and Nampheung jumped up.
"That's not true! How could you say that?! How could you say that about us?! Porsche is my son! My only son and you think I'd want him dead!?" She bellowed and Kim just looked away.
"It looked like it. What did you expect me to think?" He asked.
"We love Porsche. We would do anything for him. His security was maybe few in numbers but they were more trained, more precise." Peach pointed out.
"Trained and precise and they still turned a blind eye to every fucker coming up to flirt with him like he owned them something." Kim said and that shut them up real quick because there was no explaining that away. How could they?
"What about the at home situation?" Korn asked as they were getting off track but he made a mental note to have the men on Porsche's detail detained and questioned before he will personally kill them.
He was a Theerapanyakun Omega, maybe not in name or in blood but by the choice of the family and he was meant to be treated as such.
"Macau would run to Porsche every time he screwed up and knew Vegas would kick his ass. He run right to Porsche have Porsche fix it and make sure nobody finds out and move on. The moment Porsche needed help there would always be excuses. Something that fell in the way and Porsche would be left in the rain. Like when Porsche was nineteen and his car stopped because someone drove with it and didn't refill the tank. When Porsche called no one picked him up. Coincidentally this was when he got pneumonia and had to go to the hospital." Kim said as he looked at Macau and Macau looked shocked.
Of course he would. Most of them would because they never realized Porsche was also there. That he also needed help.
"Any other incidents I need to know about?" Korn asked as he rubbed his temple.
"Pick a kid and I'll give you date and times." Kim said and they started off with Vegas.
With the ignored phone calls, the comments the way they all ignored him when he was doing anything other than bieng polished and proper and wasn't that a blow to Korn and Gun.
They had never realized. Never seen what was happening. SO busy protecting the family from outside threats they never realized there were threats on the inside too.

Porsche hadn't heard anything from Aunt Peach in two days.
Which is weird because usually she would have called them already and started complaining about the whole dinner in detail. More than likely alphabetical order.
He brushed it off off for now.
Maybe she was hiding out and trying to stay as quiet and as lowkey as possible. Calling her could give her away and he didn't want to do that.
He and Boston had so far been enjoying themselves.
They went to the fair with Porchay, went to the museum and took a painting class.
Porsche didn't realize up until yesterday that Porchay had taken some of the tubes home and that's why his hair and clothes were so full of paint all the time.
He's just glad Chay never got the urge to repaint the house because he would have had to replace the carpet, he knows this because the incident involved a tube of paint and a Persian rug. Never have kid's if you want nice things is all advice he can give to people.
Porsche had just gotten Porchay settled and in bed when he had sat down with Boston, poured himself a bottle of wine and opened his tablet to scroll through his emails.
Boston was laying on his lap and scrolling through his socials, occasionally showing Porsche a reel he found funny.
Porsche's phone rand and as soon as he saw the caller id he picked it up, answered and put it on speaker.
"You come out of hiding or did you get away long enough to send us a plead for rescue?" Porsche asked and Boston snorted.
It was quiet for a while before Aunt Peach talked and she didn't sound okay.
"Porsche." She called his name as if she was afraid of something.
"Aunty?" He called back just as softly, all traces of teasing and joking vanishing.
"Porsche I'm so sorry." She said and his heart dropped.
She talked. She must have she wouldn't be apologizing if she didn't talk.
"Aunty, what happened?" He asked because five years.
Fiver years of keeping the secret. She wouldn't just blab about it randomly. She herself knew how badly Porsche wanted Porchay as far away from the family as possible just to make sure he didn't feel like Porsche did every day of his life. She had been the one to help him hide his pregnancy and later an actual baby. She wouldn't just talk.
"I had a few drinks in and we were sitting at the table talking about kids and I gave one of your cousins advice and then Pear started talking. Started saying how good a job he did with you and how much of a failure I was with Boston and he just kept going. Pushing and pushing and I don't know where it came from but it just spilled out. Most of it. I told them about the pregnancy, about you almost dying. I told them the important bits and I'm so sorry Porsche, I'm so sorry." She cried and everything after that was a blur to Porsche as his wine glass slipped from his hand and his tablet fell to the floor.
The red wine stained the white carpet and spread but Porsche didn't care as he got up and walked away. Towards Porchay's room. Towards his baby.
He opened the door, walked in and laid down on the bed, curling around him and holding him tight.
They knew. They knew about Porchay.
Oh how was he going to get out of this? Porchay isn't old enough to walk into that place.
He isn't old enough to handle a family who looks at your every move with a calculating gaze.
His baby couldn't walk into that. He wouldn't be subjected to that but there was nothing Porsche could do.
As old and as outdated as tradition was it still dictated that an Omega return to thier pack when pregnant so that they may be kept safe. It dictated that the Omega give birth and raise the child among pack.
He'll be called home and he'll be surrounded by a thousand people who will look at him like he's the problem. Like he's just another issue they need to seep under the rug.
He didn't want to go through that again. He didn't want Porchay to go through that.
He didn't want Porchay to go through the families scrutiny. The families constant judgement over every little thing.
Porchay being Kinn's kid didn't help. Porchay being born out of wedlock. Being raised out of the family home and away from the family will get him looks. Will get him comments and the family will have already decided his standing. He was the kid they all whispered about at parties.
Porsche would have introduced Porchay to the family. That was always in the cards. In the events that Porchay wanted to know where he came from it was best to keep in mind that even if the roots were a little rotten they were still roots that contribute in some way.
But Porchay wasn't old enough for that. Not yet anyways. He wasn't old enough to understand the difference between kindness and cruelty disguised as kindness.
It was an hour later when Boston walked into the room and sat on the edge of the bed. He rested his hand on Porsche's foot before he sighed.
"They are calling us back to Bangkok. They want to have a family meeting. Talk all of this out." Boston said and Porsche didn't respond. He just curled tighter around Porchay. Boston just sighed before he got up left only to come back a few seconds later with a blanket and a pillow. He made himself comfortable on the carpet and fell asleep shortly after.
The two days that followed were slow moving and filled dread.
Porsche knew he'd have to go and meet the family. They knew what he was hiding so there was no way for him to try and get out of it.
They boarded the plane at night and took off at 5 PM.
Porchay was still asleep but just for in case he woke up Porsche had his music player on hand.
All throughout the flight Porsche tried everything to just fall asleep butt nothing worked.
Everything just kept running around his mind. Every fear he had, every what if and maybe this or perhaps that was running through his mind and it scarred him.
Porchay was his baby. His little joy.
The only piece of family, aside from Boston and Aunt Peach, who he doesn't fear disappointment from. The only family he has that is pure and kind without strings. The only piece of his family he is trying to protect from the rest of the family because Porsche grew up in that house of eggshells.
Every accomplishment was finely measured against everyone else. Every award, every mile stone reached, every event was met with a competition where everyone measured thier own success against your own and acted so smug when they were declared the victor in a game nobody won at.
Porsche isn't stupid. He knows the moment he walks in there with Porchay the talks, the whispers, the looks will start and they won't be about him. They won't be about Porsche the screw up Omega of the family. They will be about Porchay.
Porchay who was born of the passion between Porsche, the Omega who degraded himself, and Kinn, the Alpha who was practically worshipped for his sexual prowess.
Porchay who was born to an unwed mother and no father in sight.
Porchay who was born into a dynasty of gold and pearls but carries the tittle associated with dirt and shame,
A bastard. A son with no father.
They will use it. All of it and Porsche knows this. He knows this with every piece of his being because he grew up with it. With the comments, with the judging looks that followed him every where.
He was born when both his parents were still married but he was an Omega so everyone was quick to judge him for it. Quick to say he was dramatic, quick to say he over reacted.
~Flash~
He was ten and had just gotten out of swim class. He loved swim class. Adored it even as it took a lot of stress off of his shoulders. His couch was a man who used to coach the kids at University so he was a little harder on them to be good but Porsche didn't mind because it was nice to be pushed in something he actually liked doing. Something he didn't have to force himself to enjoy because his parents told him to enjoy it.
The only problem he had was with the coaches fourteen year old son. He always came to his pool with his dad and the way he looked at the omegas, girls and boys, made Porsche uncomfortable. It made him uneasy. He didn't know why. The kid hadn't done anything but it was the way he was looking at them all. The look in his eyes, the way he licked his lips, fidgeted with his hands and looked like he was hungry but Porsche didn't know what he was hungry for. All he knew was that the hunger in the boys eyes had him backing away as soon as he stood close enough.
He'd gone to his parents. He looked at Pear and told him about the boy. About what he saw and felt and Pear just looked at him and laughed. He actually laughed in Porsche's face. Then he said those little words that Porsche carries.
"You Omegas sure know how to make something out of nothing. Go play and come to me when it's actually important."
"How would I know if it's important?" Porsche asked.
"If it was important I would know about it before you did. If I didn't know before you it's not important."
A few months later that very same boy pushed Porsche up against the gym wall and kissed him. Porsche was one of the few who got away and when he got home and his father didn't bring it up he believed it wasn't important. Porsche signed himself out of swim class the next day and stated he needed to study more.
Porsche would only latter find out what happened to him was assault and that the boy was a predator.
He was twelve when he joined taekwondo because there was this boy at school who kept following him around and at first it was okay. At first he was okay with the other kid carrying his books and sitting with him during lunch but then it escalated. All of a sudden Porsche wasn't allowed to hang out with others, Porsche had to always text him back and if Porsche so much as smelled weird he'd be all over Porsche like a jealous boyfriend which Porsche didn't want.
Porsche signed up for Taekwondo after he and the boy got into a fight and it just so happened that the boy had thrown Porsche down and he'd never felt so small and fragile as he did in that moment. So he signed up for the classes and he did well. Then he was being followed around. The boy would be on foot, in his car anywhere and everywhere and Porsche had been terrified. So he went to his mother for advice.
"Grow up and move on. Date the boy and he'll lose interest as soon as you do." Nampheung said as she patted his cheek.
Porsche went home with a black eye and a split lip three weeks later but the boy left him alone. No one had asked. No one had cared enough to notice.
He was fourteen when at a gala, with guests and friends and people he thought he could trust that a roofie was slipped into his drink.
He got dizzy first and luckily he recognized the signs and was quick to find himself a room which locked from the inside.
Kim found him a few hours into him being passed out, he'd tracked Porsche's scent after he realized he had gone missing from the party.
He helped Porsche throw up the roofie, drink water and just get something in his stomach. Porsche was out of it for nearly two days and when he finally came to and got enough energy and strength of mind back did he look at Kim and made him promise.
"No one can know. This never happened. If they ask you why I was out of it you tell them I got sick from the food. This never happened."
He'd accepted that somethings would be investigated but everything that could impact the image of the Theerapanyakun Omega was to be swept under the rug to preserve his honour and his image.
~Flash~
They landed in Bangkok at 11 PM the day after.
Porsche refused to let Porchay walk anywhere without him and as such he had his son wrapped in his arms.
Porchay had his head resting in the crook of his mothers neck and his arms wrapped around Porsche's shoulders.
Ken and Big, two of Kinn's very own personal bodyguards waited for him at the terminal.
Ken took thier bags and loaded them into the car while Big opened the door and let both Porsche and Boston into the backseat.
Pete, the head bodyguard, was in the drivers seat and he gave Porsche an encouraging smile through the mirror but it didn't feel encouraging. It felt suffocating. Like someone telling you you were okay while actively driving you towards gun fire.
This was what Porsche felt like it was. His family had never been normal.
Never Sunday dinner, never calling just because, never said I'm proud without adding on why you could do better.
They were volatile, they were like matches and open gasoline. They had a way to hurt, a way to destroy, a way to break and the worst part was that none of them realized they were doing it. None of them picked up that they were being unfair, unkind and downright cruel to the point that they'd break you with words and sweet smiles.
Boston grabbed hold of his hand and squeezed.
'I'm here.' it said.
'We can do this.' It assured.
'Together.' It promised.
Porsche could still feel the bile rise in his throat. The fear of what could happen, what might happen and what will happen.
He knows them and he knows them well.
They won't take well to being lied to. To being kept in the dark. To being the last to know anything about anything. Knowing that Porsche didn't trust them was what could potentially set them off further.
Porchay would either be accepted with great enthusiasm since aside from Porsche he'd be the only other Omega to be born into the family. The youngest kid as well. Or just up until Cousin Bree gives birth to her own.
Or he would be ridiculed. The son of the promiscuous Omega? The son of two men who were raised as family in name only? The boy born out of wedlock? The boy with no father? The boy who had been kept away from his pack and his family because Porsche couldn't trust them?
Porsche doesn't want him to go through that. Doesn't want him getting hurt like that. Doesn't want him to think family comes with strings attached.
Now. No matter what he wanted to do, his son was being led to the lions den.
The motorcycle Big was on was behind them for most of the ride but pulled out in front of them as soon as they drove through the gates of the estate and two other motorcycles started following them up the driveway.
This was both a welcome committee and added protection.
People outside the family knew and there were measures bieng put into place.
Another fear Porsche had.
Porchay is the son of Porsche, the first Theerapanyakun Omega, and Kinn, the next head of the Theerapanyakun empire. His blood carries a legacy that has been built on legend and he inherits a dynasty soaked in blood.
Omega or not he will be targeted because he is set to inherit everything after Kinn.
They stopped in front of the estate and Porsche could barely reach for the door handle before it was pulled open and there was Big with his hand out and his expression neutral.
Porsche took his hand as was common and Big helped him out of the car.
Pete and Ken flanked Porsche while Big walked in front of him. Acting like a wall between Porsche and whatever awaited them inside the estate. Pete took hold of Porsche's hand, gave it a light squeeze before he let go.
Pete had always been a silent friend to Porsche. He was a Beta so him hanging around Porsche more than was necessary could have led to him getting fired or killed. They had lost contact. Had it been known that Pete was calling Porsche there would have been problems.
Porsche was led into the living room and everyone was there.
Aunt's uncles, cousins, grandparents and obviously his parents.
Boston had quickly made his way over to Aunt Peach who looked at Porsche with big guilty eyes. He'd have to talk to her as soon as he can. Clear the air.
He doesn't know what made her tell but he knows she probably never intended for it to happen.
Ken's hand was resting on Porsche's back lightly having him move forward and he was grateful for that at least. He could feel his knees locking up at nearly every step he took so someone helping him along was a big help.
Porsche glanced around the room, refusing t linger for too long and what he saw in the glances made him anxious. They were looking at him. All of them were looking at him. Some looked guilty, other looked pissed at just being there. He held Porchay closer and his mother, she was standing next to Uncle Korn, and he could see the hurt in her eyes at Porsches clear distrust in the family when it comes to his son.
Big stepped aside ever so slightly when they stood still in front of Uncle Korn and Uncle Gun.
If Porsche had given himself more time and been more relaxed he'd have realized that Ken, Big and Pete were closing rank around Porsche. Acting as a wall, a full force to protect him from everyone. Even the family.
When he asks Korn about this later he'll get the answer that Porsche and Porchay are the most important people in this family and if Korn needed to protect them from the family he would.
Right now however, he was stood in front of the heads of his family and terrified of thier reaction now that they were in person.
Except Uncle Korn didn't look angry, he didn't look disappointed. There was a twinkle in his eye but not from happiness.
Tears.
Uncle Korn had tears in his eyes as he reached out one of his hands and placed it gently on Porchay's back before using his other hand to rest on Porsche's head and lightly ruffle his hair.
"There are a lot of things we need to talk about in the coming days but for now. Welcome Home Porsche and welcome to the family, Porchay." He said as he gently pulled Porsche closer for a hug. Porsche would later cry in his room at knowing the heads of his pack had been so accepting towards his decision.

Two days.
That's how many days Porsche had been at the estate.
That's how many days it took for most of it to go to hell.
The night he landed he had gone to sleep in his room. Porchay had been put to bed in Porsche's bed and was still sound asleep.
Porsche was still a mess of nerves and anxiety.
Luckily Aunt Peach had sneaked into his room and they talked and they cried and sorted thier mess out.
After that everything went from odd to downright weird.
Big, Ken and Pete were like Porsche's shadows wherever he went. Once again it was weird because Big and Ken were Kinn's personal bodyguards while Pete was Thankhun's personal bodyguard.
He had Vegas and Macau always in the corner of his eye. It was like the moment he moved they moved with him but at a distance.
Kinn had been keeping his distance but he also hovered nearby at all times. Always glancing between Porsche and Porchay with a pained look in his eyes.
Kim was practically as glued to his hip as Porchay was. Kim was never like that, he always kept to himself and now all of a sudden he was fussing over Porsche and Porchay like an Alpha Sire.
Uncle Korn and Uncle Gun were the only people who sort of kept thier distance but where close by when needed. Porchay absolutely adored them. He'd barely been in the manor for longer than a day when Uncle Korn and Uncle Gun each brought thier own presents. Uncle Korn got him a whole 205 color set fit for an artist and Uncle Gun got him a set a mini sports cars that he can drive around the backyard.
His parents have been keeping thier distance. Dad's been looking at him and looking distraught while Mom was unreadable. He didn't approach them. Not unless they made the first move.
The family was a whole other story. Some of the Aunt's, Uncles and Cousin's took it well that there was another Omega in the family. Other's were a little pissed that Porsche never told them and then there were the ones Porsche was worried about. The ones who looked at him and Porchay and acted high and mighty. These same Uncle's, Aunt's and Cousins who would ensure he always knew he was below them on the food chain.
Luckily Porchay was protected, or protected enough for Porsche to eat but not protected enough for him to let his guard down and he was right not to.
It was a warm day in Bangkok, when wasn't it warm, but it was warm enough for them to walk around outside but not so warm for them to die of heatstroke. Everyone was outside, the tables had been arranged with food, sweet treats and even a few savoury treats here and there.
Porsche was by the pool, soaking in the sun and talking to Boston about what he was planning to do for his next class project.
The older kids, the ones who played rough and laughed if you cried, were running around playing tag while Porchay, who Porsche raised to be aware of his situation, was darting through the tables and past grown ups playing whatever game it was he came up with in the moment. He was mainly around Big and Ken so Porsche didn't have a ball of anxiety currently eating his stomach.
Then something caught Porchay's interest.
A sweets bowl, big bright and red, lay on the table where Nampheung and a few of the other Aunt's and Cousins sat and Porchay darted right for the bright green sweets.
Porsche watched him with a fond smile. Stiffening only slightly when he saw one of his Aunt's look disappointedly in Porchay's direction as he took a sweet. Porsche brushed it off for now. He'll bring it up with her later and clear the air. Sure Porchay was the only Omega out of all the children but none of them had warned the kids off of sweets.
Porchay popped the green sweet in his mouth and it was almost instantaneous as tears welled up in his eyes and his little face went red.
Porsche and Boston looked at each other before sighing. It was probably sour. Porchay hated sour things.
They got up and Porsche looked up and froze.
His mother was pointing and laughing at him like he was the biggest and funniest joke she'd ever seen in her life. Porchay cried harder at the mockery and Nampheung reached over and patted his cheek.
"You Omega's do know how to put on the dramatics. Grow up and move on." She said and Porsche bristled.
Porchay was five. He was five and he didn't know the discomfort he was feeling now will pass in a minute. That it will all be over soon and in his moment of need someone laughs at him and tells him to move on in that mocking voice she always did. The one that made you feel stupid, made you feel unworthy.
He stormed over and slapped her hand away. Not hard enough to leave a bruise or maybe it was. He doesn't know but what he does know is that he wanted her to leave Porchay alone. To not touch him or look at him or even speak to him.
The slap got the attention of everyone and they looked over to see Porsche kneeling in front of Porchay while Nampheung held onto her hand. Most of them stepped forward immediately as soon as Korn did.
"Look at me Chay. Look at me." Porsche said and Porchay did. With tears running down his face and green spit running out of his mouth.
Porsche held out his hand and gave Porchay an encouraging nod as Porchay spat the sweet into Porsche's hand. He placed it on the white table cloth, used his sleave to wipe the spit and his hands to wipe the tears before he looked at Porchay with kind eyes and an encouraging smile.
"Let's get you inside, what do you say?" He asked and Chay nodded as he put his head in Porsche's neck and threw his arm's around Porsche's neck before letting himself be picked up. He rubbed Porchay's back and looked around, he stiffened at seeing everyone looking at him and went to turn only for his mother to grab his shoulder.
"Apologize." She seethed at him like she deserved it.
"No." He said.
"You slapped me."
"You told my kid to grow up and get over it."
"I told you the same thing and you never slapped me." She pointed out.
"Because at the time I didn't know you telling me to grow up and get over it was the reason I'd start hiding things from you because you would never take a word I said seriously." Porsche said.
"It is not that serious Porsche. Do not make something out of nothing."
"Isn't it though?" He asked as he turned around and looked at his mother and she just threw her hands up in the air as she heaved a heavy sigh.
"Go on then. Throw out the dramatics." She said and Porsche's eyes narrowed at her as he covered Porchay's ears.
"He's five fucking years old." He starts off strong, "He's five years old and he has not clue on why he is uncomfortable, he has no idea on when it will stop or if it ever will. All he knows is that he doesn't like it and now one of his earliest memories of you will forever be you laughing at him while he cried. You telling him to grow up and get over it because when have you ever had a kind word, or even a affirmation that you understand something is wrong because you have never had any problem doing it for anyone else but the Omega's who needed to hear it." Porsche said and Nampheung sighed.
"It's not that deep." She said like that explained everything like every action she and everyone else so far have taken wasn't that deep.
"Not that deep? Not that deep?! I signed myself out of swim class when I was ten because your whole it's not that deep kept me in it with an actual fucking rapist! I came to you both! I told you how I felt and what I felt and you said it was nothing to worry about! At least I got away with nothing more than a bruised back and forearm and a forced kiss! Others weren't lucky enough! But tell me again how me hearing my gut tell me something is wrong and you telling me I'm overreacting is not that deep!"
Namphueng's eyes widened and he could hear a glass breaking in the distance.
"I had to stop going to mathletes because this one Alpha girl kept bullying me when I was seven! I was told I was a stupid fucking Omega every day for six months you told me that maybe Mathletes just wasn't for me! That not many Omega's find there place in such spaces! I came home with a black eye and a busted up lip when I twelve because the boy who was stalking me followed me into the bathroom! You told me to grow up, get over it and just date him! All of these comments, all your it's not that deep moments cut me deep because I was made aware from a young age that I only ever matter to you! To all of you! When I am quiet, when I am obedient! When I am a doll ready for you to play house with!" Porsche bellowed and everyone looked stunned.
No one knew what to say or even how to say it because what could be said that wasn't said back then? No one had done anything. No one had said anything and now Porsche protects Porchay from the very family meant to protect him because Porsche got the brunt end of thier love.
"We didn't think you were a doll." She said as tears welled up in her eyes.
"You did and I stopped pretending that I was and left because if I stayed any longer... I'd have killed myself."
It was harsh and definently not something one throws around lightly but Porsche would be lying if he said he didn't think about it, that there weren't plans in place for when and where, how and all. He just could never bring himself to do it because he always thought of the people he'd leave behind and he thought he'd endure it but he always circled back to the end.
"You... You wanted to... do that.. to yourself because of us?" She asked.
"Why do you think I left? Staying meant I got pushed to the brink more and more. I left."
"Because of us?" She asked.
"Because of all of you." Porsche said with anger in his eyes and fury in his voice as he turned around and walked back into the house to get Porchay cleaned up and calmed down.
