Chapter Text

The uchihas were always known for their…line of work… aswell as how cold they can be, everyone feared them, they are strong and some are genuinely uncaring of others and sasuke was not an exception to those personality traits, since he was a baby he never smiled and it was rare for him to cry, he grew up cold and no one thought that would change, until that day, until he met him.

It was a normal day for sasuke, gray, cold, and boring, Sasuke never found anything interesting, everyone feared him, the kids and adults alike.

Sasuke was sitting, looking up at the sky contemplating life till he heard something he hasn't heard in a long time in the estate , a laugh , a bright and sunny laugh that he's never heard his entire life as a child, he looked around and found a blond haired boy that shined with sun, bright blue eyes that shined even brighter than his hair, and he was laughing while he chased a butterfly in the uchiha garden, then sasuke froze at the realization, this is a private garden.

Sasuke got up and walked up to the blond boy

“who are you and what are you doing here? Don't you know this is a private garden?”

The boy froze and turned to look at sasuke

“Private garden?”

“Yes a Private garden, your not supposed to be here”

Naruto realizing he did something wrong gave an apologetic smile

“Sorry i was chasing a cat that ran in here through that hole-”

The boy said that while pointing at a hole that was in the brick gates surrounding the private garden

“-then got distracted with the butterfly when i came in here, this is a very pretty garden”

The boy said looking amazed at the flowers with stars in his eyes, sasuke was confused and couldn't help but think ‘did he really not know this was a private garden even when he saw the house? he doesnt look any younger than me, around six years if then, hes just stupid'

Before sasuke could think or say anything to kicking him out of there the boy abruptly turned to sasuke smiling widely
“My name is Naruto! Whats your name?

“.......Sasuke….”

“You're really pretty, Let's be friends!

Sasuke knew right then and there that the first boy who didn't fear him or looked at him with malice, the first boy to smile wide and bright towards him was going to be his, sasuke wasn't still decideing or needed time to think about it, he was 100% sure.

Chapter Text

 Naruto ever since that day, came everyday, they played, talked, and laughed together.

mikotos pov

one day mikoto decided to hang the laundry, her husbands brother ,madara, was visiting tomorrow and she wanted to take her mind off things, so she started hanging the laundry at the side of the house.

then she heard laughter coming from the private garden in their large backyard,

she turned and saw…yellow?

 No it was a boy ,a blond boy climbing a tree and looking down while laughing 

Mikoto was going to go tell the boy to get down from there and to leave because he was trespassing, but then she heard her son ,sasuke, telling the little boy to get down and how it was dangerous but it wasn’t the fact that sasuke was saying more than five sentences it was the fact he sounded……concerned.

she had never heard any other type of emotion coming from sasuke other than annoyance and boredom.

Mikoto walked towards them in shock

”sasuke, who’s this?” Mikoto asked

“my name is Naruto!” 

“ he’s going to staying here” answered sasuke 

“what?! I didn’t know that!” Naruto argued 

as the kids were arguing itachi walked in confused 

“mother, who is this?”

“I don’t know, but it seems he’s going to be staying with us”

 Third pov

after a few minutes of the boys arguing Naruto finally relented and agreed as he was climbing down from the tree

”I can show you to the guest room” suggested itachi

”really?! Thanks!”

“No, I’ll do it” sasuke argued 

“do you know where it is?” Itachi asked 

“Of course!” Yelled sasuke 

time skip a few weeks later 

Naruto had already become part of the family , fugaku was beyond confused as to why minatos son was living with them but he never asked about it.

Naruto had moved in the room next to sasuke but that still wasn’t enough for sasuke, he would sleep in Naruto’s room every night, sasuke never left him out of his sight, Naruto would wake up sometimes to sasuke just staring at him, 

every morning Naruto would get up with sasuke and watch how mikoto made breakfast, mikoto still got surprised every now and then but she was happy to have him here, he brought a happiness that never seemed to be possible to achieve.

itachi started smiling again along with sasuke , he would also make jokes to Naruto which would always make him laugh, they had started eating together as a family for breakfast and dinner because Naruto would always drag them to it. 

as time went by tho, sasuke started getting worse, he would drag Naruto away from other kids, when they went to the village sasuke would hold on tight to Naruto, and whenever Naruto would laugh at its his jokes or got closer to itachi sasuke a jaw would clench, but Naruto never minded because he was as oblivious to the world around him as fish. 

One day Naruto and sasuke snuck on top of the roof , it was night and the stars were brighter than they’ve ever been, sasuke and Naruto were laying down pointing at the stars.

”I’m going to name that one a fish!”

”how does that look anything like a fish?”

”Because look!”

naruto grabbed sasukes hand and moved it tracing the stars in a shape of a fish 

“I guess it does look like a fish…..Naruto?”

”yeah?”

“Do you ever miss your old life? And would you ever leave me for it?”

” … well before I came here I lived with my grandpa.. but he was really quiet, and I don’t think he liked me very much, also you guys are my family now so ,no, I won’t leave you for it ever” 

“Good, because we’re going to get married when we’re older”

”what’s ‘married’?” 
“ marriage is when you love someone sosososos much that your willing to stay with them forever”

“ohhhhhhhhh ok! If that means we’re going to stay together forever, then I say yes!”

sasuke smiles because he knows Naruto doesn’t know exactly what he’s talking about but he’s happy he accepte anyways , sasuke sits up a gives Naruto a peck on the lips

”……….”

Naruto takes a moment before blushing as red as a tomato, sasuke starts to worry if Naruto didn’t like it.

“Sorry if you didn’t li-“

Before sasuke can even finish his sentence Naruto sits up abruptly and gives sasuke a peck on the lips and smiles widely 

“what’s that called? I really liked it!”

”…..a kiss..” sasuke is red, Naruto just kissed him and liked it he was really happy.

”I want to do it a lot! I wonder if it feels the same with other peo-“

before Naruto can finish what he was going to say sasuke yells 

“NO!”

”… what?!” Naruto was surprised at what sasuke yelled at him for.

” You can’t kiss anyone else but me!” 
“.why?” 
“ because you only kiss people you love!”

”ohhhhhhh ok! I love sasuke!” 
 Sasuke blushes at the comment and says

”good” a little calmer now 

“I also love mikoto and itachi!”

”NO, Naruto no one else but me!”

” WHYYYYY” 

“bc your mine and if we’re going to get married in the future you CANT kiss anyone else, at all.”

”…..ok!” it gave Naruto a minute to process but he agreed any ways.

Chapter Text

The day had gone like always, Naruto spent his whole day attached to Sasukes hip even when he was laughing at something Itachi said, when he was telling Fugaku about some crazy village gossip he heard, and even when Mikoto was teaching Naruto how to cook because he wanted to learn, sasuke was always there.

but even during those happy moments Naruto started to feel a little overwhelmed, it started that same night when he went to the bathroom ,he went to the bathroom across that was across a hallway on his right , it was pretty far but he didn't care ,Itachi was occupying the closest one and he really had to go. when he finished he came out and saw Mikotos room lights on, so he went to see if she was awake ,it was genuinely out of curiosity, he tip toed towards the room not taking the chance to wake her up if she just fell asleep with the lights on, Mikoto was siting there knitting, 

"Oh! Naruto? what are you doing up?" asked Mikoto. "Hi Mo-Mikoto! i went to the bathrrom and saw the lights on, what'cha got there?" asked Naruto 

"Im knitting, it is supposed to be a scarf for the cat"  "That's so cool! Can you teach me?! how are you doing that?"

"of course Naruto"

after 10 minutes Naruto got the basics down and was doing basic stiching while conversing with Mikoto, after a full 25 minutes of Naruto gone from the bedroom Sasuke barges in Mikotos room where Naruto and Mikoto were in breathless,flushed with anger and worriment and messy hair, Mikoto and Naruto could feel the strong emotions emitting from Sasuke to where they were sitting.

Sasuke strode to Naruto and yanked him by the arm, before anyone could say anything Sasuke pulled Naruto ,practically running, out of the bedroom in quick strides while dragging Naruto behind him  "Ouch! You're hurting me! let go!" Naruto wailed, but before he could go on, Sasuke turned over so fast his face became blurry to naruto for a second with rage in his eyes and yelled "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!"   "......i was knitting with your mom" Naruto says a little Shaken up and wide eyed, it was a first time he got yelled at by sasuke like that, he's been yelled at but not like this, not with so much anger, and it scared him.

"NO! you should'nt have even been in there! you should've come to me first!"  "W-w-well i saw h-her lights o-on a-and wanted to see if s-sh-" before he could finish Sasuke interrupts  him "You shouldve come to me first!" Naruto flinches a little before answering

"W-w-why?"

"Because your mine!"

"............" 

Sasuke after a while of silence cups Narutos face with both hands and his eyes soften "...Im sorry Naruto i dont mean to yell. Next time come straight to the room. I love you"

Sasuke gives Naruot three pecks ,one on the forehead, then another on his nose bridge, and the last one on his lips before leading him into their room.

After they settled in sasuke spooned Naruto ,you could say 'Thats weird for two 6 year olds to be doing", well it was the usual for these six year olds, you see, Sasuke wasnt the type to shy away so it was a norm that if he felt something he would say it, so when Naruto came along he would give him back hugs, kiss his nape, hug his waist and just constantly touching, at times Sasuke would try to go futher but either someone interrupted or Naruto would go look for another thing to do, Sasuke was always eager to stake his claim on Naruto.

That night Naruto had a bad dream that woke him up early with cold sweat running down his face , tho he couldnt remember what it was about he couldnt go back to sleep and felt a little restless since whenever he woke up sasuke was already awake and they always started their day from there.

after a long wait Naruto decides to go outside and take a walk ,he didnt want to wake Sasuke up since he looked so peacfull.

Naruto was just leaving the uchiha compound when he bumped into his grandpa ,the old man was negligent but he still cared for his grandson.

"....Naruto..?" Naruto had been gone for about 10 months and was about to turn 7 in about a month so it was a surprise to him that he was there like as if he wasnt gone for almost a year "Granddad! How are you doing!? i havent seen you in so long!"  "......Ive been .....good-Naruto?" 

"yeah!?" Naruto exclaimed wide eyed and clearly happy "...Have you been....staying in the uchiha compound....?" 

"Yeah!"

"......."

"...grandad?"

"Naruto go get your things, were leaving"

"w-w-what!? w-wait. why!?"

"you wouldnt understand Naruto, theyre dangerous people"

"What do you mean!? theyre anything but bad!"

"Naruto"

"NO! i dont want to go back with you! i hate it there!" Naruto yells with tears in his eyes and the saddest frown hes ever had

"Thats why youre going with old man jiraya, i had decided that if i found you i would take you to him, he lives in the country side with tsunade and a lovely throuple"

".....throuple...?" naruto asks confused 

"dont worry about it, but your gonna have a lot of fun staying with them"

"but i dont want to go! I want to stay with sasuke!" 

"naruto, listen to me."

"No!" Naruto doesnt budge 

"your mother would want you to listen to me and would be very sad to hear her son acting like this!" at that Naruto had frozen, he had never met them but heard so many stories about them and he always dreamed about life if they were alive, he was six and didnt want to hurt his dead mom.

"..........." narutos face was blank and then it scrunches up and he starts to sob 

"Naruto....dont cry, you have to come you dont want to make mom sad"

"b-but *sob* i-i-i want to s-*sob*staaaaayyyyy"

"Naruto come on we have to go before they wake up" he says it with a stern face this time

*sob* "o-o-okay"

Naruto cried the whole time, when they went to his granddads house to pick up a few things for him, and even on the drive there he cried, he knew it would be the last time he saw his family, and his husband.

When they got there Naruto had a VERY tear streaked face and a few tears still falling. *knock* *knock* his granddad knocked and another old man answered the door

he was taller than fugaku ,oh man how Naruto had already started to miss them all, he had white spikey long hair that reached to his butt and had a nose piercing that could be mistaken as a ugly mole, he wore kahki shorts and had a white tanktop shirt on along with him having a farmers tan ,i mean, he IS a farmer after all.

"Ah! *granddads name*, what are you doing here?" 

"jiraya! this is Naruto, i have told you about the plan that if i ever found him i would send him to you! so here he is!" the granddad slightly pushes Naruto forward towards the old man ,Naruto guesses is called jiraya, 

"............."

"is something wrong jiraya?"

"i ....thought you were joking" jiraya says with a blank face 

"....what?"

"AHHAHAHAHAH IM JOKING!" jiraya yells, surprising Naruto on how loud he actually is .

"JIRAYA!"

"AHAHAHA anyways!" jiraya says as hes turining to Naruto and wiping away a tear "Naruto, im jiraya and your going to stay with me now!" jiraya crouches low enough to reach Narutos level and he smiles while reaching out his hand ,after a few seconds Naruto takes jirayas hand and lets himm lead him inside where he meets,

a silver haired man who looks a little older than Itachi named Kakashi, he had spiky silver hair and he wore a mask that connected to his sleeveless black turtle neck ,them being the same color, he wore gray sweats that look like you put them on for the gas station, he wore fingerless gloves and was hiding behind a book,' icha-icha parding?' Naruto tried to read the title but he couldnt read very well.

then a brown haired man named Iruka, he had a scar across his nose bridge that reached cheek to cheek, he put his hair in a spikey short ponytail he was wearing a loose longsleeve shirt that had a wide v-neck line he also wore some black pants, he dressed warmley for this weather, he had a kind smile.

finally but not least a short black haired man named obito, he has a pretty scarred up face in his left side of his face, he kinda looks like a uchiha, he wore a blue shirt with gray nike shorts, he had a wide smile, Naruto liked that

finally there was a long haired blond woman , warm blond, she wore a grey kimono style blouse, dark bluish-grey leggings, and sandles.  she was large in her chest area and looked a little stern.

Naruto at this point was very calm already because just looking at these people he had a feeling that even tho it wont be with the uchihas, he was still going to be very happy here.

Chapter Text

It was a pretty normal day for sasuke, a little thing he did as a hobby without anyone knowing was collecting Naruto’s things, useless or important, sasuke kept a lot of things, he had a whole shrine of things so it wasn’t unusual for sasuke to go and search for Naruto’s things in the garden before he goes to bed.

Sasuke was gone for 15 minutes, he comes back expecting Naruto to be there waiting, Naruto always went bathroom before bed but he nerve took to long so it was a surprise for sasuke when Naruto wasn't there, instead of freaking out sasuke decided to wait a little bit, After 3minutes sasuke started to panic so he decided to to go check on Naruto.

,knock, knock, knock’

”Naruto, you alright? You’ve been in there for a long time”

instead of Naruto answering like he would do the door opens and instead of Naruto, sasuke sees ………..itachi? 
“itachi?”

”Hello sasuke, Naruto went to the other bathroom from what I remember” itachi says pointing to the hall next to sasuke room

sasuke snaps out of his panicked trance “oh..ok, thanks” he says before walking towards the entrance and down the dark hallway

Now, what scared sasuke wasn’t the walk down the hallway when it’s dark but the fact that the lights in the bathroom were turned off, so he starts running, when he gets to the bathroom and sees it empty he panics 

’Empty, it’s empty……did.. he run away..?’

sasuke panicking starts frantically looking around, finally notices the slightly open door of his mothers room and the lights turned on, he runs and slams the door open 

‘He’s here!’

sasuke drops his shoulders in relief but quickly tenses again when he sees Naruto cuddled up to Mikoto 

in quick stride sasuke gets to Naruto and yanks him by the arm and drags him out the room 

“Ouch! You’re hurting me! Let go!”

sasuke turned around fast in a rage and yelled “WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!”

” ……I was knitting with your mom” 

sasuke felt a little bad to see Naruto ,the strong headed, bright little boy so shaken and small but he was still angry

”NO! You shouldn’t have even been in there! You should’ve come to me first!”

”w-w-well I saw h-her lights o-on a-and wanted t-to s-see if s-sh-“  sasuke interrupts Naruto “you should’ve come to me first!”

”w-w-why?” Naruto asks

”because your mine!”

”……………………………….” 
after a long silence sasukes anger starts to quell and gets replaced with guilt, he saw the love of his life so small and sad , he felt sad he was the one that made Naruto experience those emotions 

“..im sorry Naruto I don’t mean to yell. Next time come straight to the room. I love you” if you were to ask sasuke was he would say yes, why?, because he doesn’t just love Naruto, he’s the love of his life,his sun, his one and only and the only one who could give him emotions, that’s what sasuke would say.

after they make up sasuke still felt a little guilty but it was late and he decided to make things up for Naruto.

but it even tho sasuke is a light sleeper Naruto can be even quieter when he wants to be

”………………………………………..….………………………………………………………………………..…,…………..,……………………….……………………………………………………”

it was morning and sasuke was waking up, he hadn’t opened his eyes yet or even felt his surroundings and he felt light like always in ever since he met Naruto but his first thought brought everything down

’…………cold……..’

sasukes eyes shot open 

“N-Naruto?”

naruto was no where to be seen, this would be fine if it was a daily thing, Naruto wakes up early ,gets out of bed, and makes breakfast.. but it isn’t, Naruto is not a morning person, he doesn’t get up early , or get out of bed immediately it takes him ten minutes to wake up completely, counting, he doesn’t make breakfast. 

Sasuke shot out of bed 

‘maybe he had to go bathroom’

sasuke runs and checks the bathroom ‘Not here’ he checks the other ‘not here’

sasuke starts hurriedly checking everywhere 

‘notherenotherenotherenotherenothere’

sasuke repeats it every time he doesn’t find him and every time he starts searching more and more aggressively to the point he looks like a mad man.

due to sasuke barging into every room he meant every room his parents or brothers room were not an exception, he even trashed it.

when Mikoto and itachi realize what’s happening they start helping sasuke look, fugaku stands there gravely confused 

after a full hour of searching ,yelling and complete chaos, sasuke finally finds the letter Naruto left sasuke 

“hey saske, if your reading this I’ve probafly already left, my grandad said we had to go becaufe ur house was dangwrouse, I didn’t want to go but he said we hafe to, I’m goig to life wit and old man somewhere in da frees im sorry -love Naruto”

The dark cold realization set in, Naruto wasn’t coming back, he left, he’s never going to hear that laugh, see that smile ,talk to the love of his life, read another letter with bad grammar and tear stains on it or see Naruto again. Sasuke broke.

sasuke collapsed crying, balling his eyes out, when Mikoto saw the letter she gasped with sad look on her face ,itachi felt a little sad and a lot of pity towards sasuke, fugaku just knew the relief he felt for having someone to control sasuke mood swing was gone and mourned the loss of a good friend 

sasuke barely ate and covered himself in what was left of Naruto’s smell, he couldn’t stop crying, that day sasuke wa never going to be the same until he found Naruto again, today he will mourn his husband the next day sasuke will plan how to hunt down his husband and cage him.

hello everyone! I’m coming back on here just to leave a notice for you guys, first I want to thank yall for the support. I’m so glad you guys like it! 
I was really worried people wouldn’t since it was my first time.

unfortunately I’m going on hiatus after this post, but I will post when I have the time, it is not an abandoned fic I just procrastinate a lot, trust me I will post 😊
