Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Tim had been having fun. He didn’t mean to be spotted by a couple of ninjas as he was flying over Gotham city in his dragon form. Just like he didn’t mean to be captured and transported to the ninjas’ hideout.

You see, Tim, just like his mother, was a dragon. While she was close to 1000 years old, he was only 150 years old. He wasn’t even considered to be an adult dragon, still just a teenager.

Despite all his complaining, he did enjoy his mother and Jack’s baby-ing. Jack was a human that his mother cared for because of his obsession for her hoard; old artifacts. They had gotten married partly because she wanted his last name, Drake.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Tim looked around the room he was currently being held in. Walls, ceiling, and floor were all chiseled out of sandstone. Green banners hanging on the walls, and one door on the wall across from him.

Looking down, Tim saw that he was laying on a nest of fabrics and pillows. It was surprisingly comfortable.

His head snapped towards the door, hearing it open. Out stepped a tall man, hair black with white streaks along the sides of his head. His body was adorned with a green assassin robe, and a sword on left hip.

The man stalked towards Tim and reached out to touch him. Reacting to the movement, Tim tried to bite the hand, but something was hindering his ability to do so.

A muzzle! He was wearing a muzzle!

Hearing the man chuckle, Tim began growling at him.

“Oh, come now.” The man said snickering “I can’t just let you bite and kill me that easily.”

The man once again reached out to touch him. Without any real way of stopping him, Tim gave up trying to fight the man.

“Good little dragon. Already knowing your place.” The man said in a mocking tone “I’m Ra’s al Ghul, and you belong to me.”

-------

The man, Ra’s al Ghul, had left a little over an hour ago, but Tim still haven’t moved.

Ra’s had spent a good while just prancing around and talking. He clearly liked the sound of his own voice.

Most of what he’d said wasn’t important, some things were. Like how they captured Tim for his scales and poison.

Tim could also go wherever he liked during the day, as long as the two guards that was standing outside his door, followed him. Though he was pretty sure Ra’s allowed it, so he’d feel less like a prisoner. It wasn’t working.

Feeling tired, Tim concluded that he’d explore tomorrow. But for now, he’d sleep. Yeah, now he’d sleep.

-------

Waking up in the familiar room, Tim stretched his limbs and yawned. Immediately reminded of the muzzle, he paused.

He needed to escape!

Remembering what Ra’s had said the day before, Tim made his way towards the door and used his front paw to open the door.

It was lucky that he was small enough to fit through the door. He was around the size of a pony if you excluded his wings. His mother wouldn’t even fit in the room.

Walking out and down the halls. The walls continued to be chiseled sandstone, decorated with the same green banners.

There were also plenty of doors, some locked and some unlocked. Behind the unlocked doors were sleeping chambers (not bedrooms because there were no personalization), training rooms (of different kinds), labs, and much more.

After wandering for a while and trying to remember the layout, came he across a personalized room. Whom ever lived there clearly had a high rank.

The room consisted of a training area, an area for work, and a sleeping area.

The training area was in the left corner by the door and consisted of a simple green training mat and different kinds of weapons and shields mounted on the wall.

The area for work was in the right corner by the door and consisted of a workbench with a three monitor PC setup, a small lab and a couple of shelfs with different kinds of books.

Straight ahead, against the far wall, was a light green king-sized bed adorned with matching pillows and a simple white mosquito net hanging from the ceiling. On the wall on each side of bed were grids of square openings that let in natural light, acting like windows.

A sleek wooden dresser was placed on the far end of the left wall, as well as a dressing screen with intricate green pattern.

This left the far end of the right wall looking a little empty.

“Why hello there” a soft voice called out from the bed.

Tim jumped. How had he not seen her?

Her being a tall arabic woman with long luscious hair. She was wearing a green top, a matching skirt, and lots of gold jewelry.

“It is okay. No need to be frightened. You will not be harmed as long as you are in my room.” The woman said, and for some unknown reason did Tim believe her.

As she moved to sit on the edge of the bed, a baby bump became visible. She looked to be a couple months along and she was glowing.

“Come here.” The woman spoke with authority. Clearly expecting him to listen, so he did.

Tim moved carefully towards her, a little afraid she’d lash out when he got to close. Since the way she carried herself reminded him of his mother; dangerous.

However, he had little to fear, as she reached out and scratched behind his ears and around his horns. Something his mother used to do when he was younger.

“Oh, well you are such a sweetheart. My name is Talia al Ghul. Is it fine with you if I call you ahmar? It means red in Arabic.” The woman- Talia said caringly.

Tim thought it over. It wasn’t the worst thing to be called and it felt better to be called 'ahmar' rather than 'little dragon' like Ra’s called him. He looked at her before nodding his head.

A smile broke out on her face as she gently continued scratching.

Maybe this wasn’t so bad after all. No, scratch that. This was bad, but it was more survivable with her there.
