What Are You So Worried About?

Summary:

“How did I not see this?” Sakura mutters, more to herself than anyone else. “I mean—I should have asked. Instead, I just assumed!”

“He never gives a straight answer,” Temari cuts in, blunt as ever, trying to shoulder the blame from her.

Sakura shakes her head, shoulders tense. “I mean, he never even paid for any of our meals—”

“When does he ever?” Tenten throws in, brows raised. “You know how cheap he is.”

“Stop defending me!” Sakura snaps, voice a harsh whisper—but then her face crumbles. “I am an idiot.”

“No,” Ino says firmly, slamming her drink down just enough to jolt the table. “The only thing you’re an idiot for is falling for an idiot. Now get over yourself, because we’re going to fix this.”

10 times Sakura hoped Kakashi would take the hint, and the one time she takes matters into her own hands.
