Marinette looks around the city finding stores selling stuff using dollars instead of euros , not only had the akuma sent them across dimensions but to The US as well. She had detransformed but Tikki was not with her. Her earrings were also missing. She has to find tikki and chat as soon as she can, while she roams around Chicago searching for her miraculous hoping that Tikki also got transported through the portal but what if it has picked by a random passerby or stayed in their dimension? That would mean Hawkmoth would have easily have stolen and made his wish??? Maybe she could find the alternative version of herself & chat or maybe the New York heroes, were there even heroes here??!!? WOULD THE AKUMA EVEN BE ABLE TO FIND THEM HERE IN THE INFINITE UNVERSES THAT EXIST? HOW WOULD THEY ESCAPE???WOULD THEY LIVE THE REST OF THEIR LIVES HERE!!?!!?!? [Marinette starts frantically searching to find the earrings.]

Adrien has been searching Chicago [he is familiar with Chicago due to his trips to film for modeling for his dad's products] for a while. He couldn't find plagg nor ladybug but since he was no longer transformed he guessed that she would have too. Maybe he even walked past her. Was plagg alright? They had not used either of their powers so he would probably not have to recharge any time soon. he still had cheese on him maybe plagg could smell it and follow. He should first focus find his miraculous and signal to ladybug he's here and make a plan together to get back. Its getting pretty dark though he should probably find somewhere to stay. He had a lot of money on him because Natalie never let him leave the house without at least 2000 euros just to be safe .He could exchange to dollars [apparently minors could do it here with their parents signature on a specific document. Nino had thought him to fake Gabriel's sign so it was easy enough]. the only problem now was to find a apartment that does not need official documents for a lease so until then he had to stay in a cheap hotel room for as long as they allowed him to stay with without his guardian. he would get parttime job as soon as he could for groceries but still did not know where he could stay after he eventually gets kicked out of the hotel

Marinette had spent too long walking around. She could sense someone hiding in the dark somewhere near her she needed to hide. Eventually she needs somewhere for longtime living to avoid going out late at night till they can return home. There are far more many criminals here than in Paris, some even with powers. But where would she even stay. Maybe a hotel?. She didn't have money for a hotel room. While walking around she spotted A giant mall which was currently the only thing open. The mall was pretty big she could probably hide in it and wait for them to leave. While she waited she could search around the mall for Tikki or the other students. Maybe someone were hiring part-timers and she could get money .She managed to take a shoplift protein bars from the supermarket. The mall had TVs that were displaying the attacking of the White house by two villain called "The Mauler Twins" who were stopped by "The guardians of the globe" At least she knows there are heroes in this universe. If she gets Tikki back she could work with them to get back to her universe. But by now she was getting thirsty, she decided to get some water from the food court, fast food stores here ar alternate versions of stores from here dimension, Pizza mansion ,CFC etc. She got a free cup of water from a place called burger mart with questionable looking food but for a really cheap price, she looked over the screens displaying the menu while the friendly employee named "Mark" gave her the water. Maybe she could work here. Mark did tell her they were hiring. While she was leaving she realized that there was defiantly something watching. She still wasn't sure if it was safe to leave so she decided to peak out the entrance. There didn't seem to be any one there, just a burger Mart supply truck, there was something off about the truck though, it didn't have a license plate, The paint was chipped and faded, The back doors were slightly open and it appeared to be mostly empty except for a makeshift table at the back, no one was inside it, she slowly opened the door and entered the back of the truck, There where no crates instead there was some type of machinery, behind it was the makeshift table with spreadsheets of what appeared to a giant vacuum cleaner, and some type of stasis chamber? Before she could search more she heard footsteps and fled the truck taking the files with her and ran off .After 20 mins of running she finally found a 24/7 gas station. the first open store since the mall. It was about 11:40 pm, she sat down in a chair outside the gas station shop and ate two of the protein bars she had taken. While she calmed down she realized. The glass of the shop had an flyer advertising the open position for a part time cashier. She decided to apply for the position as she desperately needed the money and she was too scared to return to the mall to continue their investigation. The employee called the manager and she has hired on the spot and given the next shift from 12 at midnight, that was only,10 mins from now? weird but at least she has some where to be instead of the roaming around at night.

Adrien Had to find a job as fast as he could and return to his search for ladybug. After searching around for open part time jobs in fast food stores , he found a position in a place called burger mart. It was for minimum wage but considering they were desperate enough to not ask for legal documents and hired him immediately and was also close to the hotel so it was the best he could do. Now all he had to do was find plagg or Since his first shift was tomorrow so he started walking around Chicago, he watched the news on TVs of a home appliance store. The white house was attacked but two giant blue people. Was it a akuma? had hawkmoth come through the portal to find them? hopefully ladybug had found her miraculous so she could stop the attackers. He waited to see what happened but instead of her, a superhero team named "Guardians of the globe" arrived instead. So this universe did have heroes, maybe they can help them get back to their universe. He should research about them . Maybe he should buy a phone just for researching the heroes of this universe but for now watching the news provided quite a lot of information. The heroes here or at least the GOG works for the government, Adrien started researching the heroes on the display phones. Guardians of the globe is this dimensions premier Superhero team, apparently the miraculous holders don't exist in this universe unlike the shadybug universe. There also does not seem to be a hawkmoth here. Were the miraculous not stolen or given away. Do they even exist here? There were other hero groups called the fight force, teen team and independent heroes like omni-man. He should research more about them. By now the store employees were glaring at him ,he should probably leave . This is probably not the time to buy a phone. It's not like he knows anyone here, the only reason he needs it is to research the heroes. Maybe after his first paycheck he could get one.

Marinette goes back to the burger Mart to get some lunch with her paycheck, after having a friendly chat to the same employee from last time, mark, and apparently the position had already been filled. She goes back to the gas station to start her second shift. While working the cash register she is approached by "Alya?" Marinette asked, she had forgotten that their school had been attacked before she got teleported her, Were all the students here? Where there random citizens from Paris here too?. "Mari? Girl I finally found you, Most our class ended up here when the akuma was attacking the school I already found Max ,Rose , Juleka ,Ivan but the others along with Nino and Adrien should be here too just have not found them yet. Have you found anyone we know yet?" Alya asked "No, how long ago did you arrive here? I was sent here like 2 days ago? Where are you living?" Marinette asked her. "I arrived 5 days ago but Max was hit first so he has been here for 8, Max helped fake documents and we signed for up dorm. Do u have a place to stay? I still have a position open for my room mate" Alya said. "Maybe you shouldn't admit that in public but, Yeah I do need a place to stay, I have a job now so I could pay rent, but how did you get into a student dorm. Don't you have to be a student?" Marinette asked ."Max created student documents at a local school nearby, we don't actually have go to school though, by the way do you have your phone? I was using mine to blog the villain before i got hit so i have mine , let me send the address" said Alya. Luckily Mari had her phone in her purse when she was hit. Alya sends the address and leaves to go find the others but said that max would make fake documents for her before the end of the week.

Adrien starts him first day of work at the burger mart. His father never let him near the kitchen nor allowed him to learn how to cook so he asked the other employee "mark" for help ,who was kind enough to help. After being instructed he started talking to mark about the superheroes, mark is extremely interested in superhero content real or fictional. Between him talking about seance dog, He explained a lot about the real heroes , the heroes here actually quite diverse including aliens, robots, some had magical jewels pretty similar to miraculouses but people got their powers from scientific experimentation. Before he could finish explaining about omni man [who seems to be his favorite] the manager calls Mark over berate him and tell him to take out the trash, as mark goes out the back door and starts dumping the trash into the dumpster in the back, Adrian who was followed his to continue their conversation, standing at the doorway witnesses mark throw the trash bag into space, will Adrien stood there shocked, he hears Mark say "its about time" before turning around and noticing Adrien at the doorway and before he could say or explain anything their shifts ends and the manager forces them to clock out. Mark asks to walk with him or exchange contact info so he could explain but since Adrien did not have a phone he had to turn the offer down and quickly returns home alone realizing he probably just witness mark gaining powers

Marinette continued her search for Tikki. She needed to find her and find Chat Noir and get back to their home dimension . As she tried to ignore imagining the worst case scenarios of what could have happened to Tikki , like what if someone else had found Tikki by now. She then spots a person getting mugged by... a stone guy? Who sort of look like when Ivan get akumatised, Had he? Before she could get closer, she witnessed a hero wearing what looked to be a orange t-shirt ,blue sweatpants, rubber gloves ,a yellow bandana and googles come down and defeat the stone guy effortlessly. The mugger appeared to be a human with the power to create a layer of rock around his body. The hero is probably new considering what he is wearing. Its quite obviously rushed and does not seem to provide any protection and only serves the function of hiding his secret identity. While criticizing the new heroes outfit, she realized he looked somewhat familiar. By then another hero had arrived and started talking to the new hero about his costume and tells the new hero to come with him. Marinette quickly leaves hoping she was not spotted.

Adrian had decided to buy a phone. If Mark does become a hero , he should probably get closer to him, maybe he can help him, even if he only been a hero for 9 months he could probably help a bit, also getting to know the hero community personally better would probably be useful to Ladybug and him. Maybe they can help them get home. (Considering how long its been his father is probably worried about him), also maybe he could convince him to help defeat hawkmoth, he does seem pretty strong. He even started researching the heroes more. While contemplating Marks usefulness, he heard screams nearby, running tobthe source of the screams , he saw a burning building with people inside, before he could react, Martian man arrives and rescues the citizens from the building. Adrien tries to approach Martian man after everyone is safe but he was already gone. While trying to chase him he runs into Nino, "Dude? u get hit too? I had already found Kim and Mylene just need the others, I was following Martian man to ask for his help but he has been putting out fires and rescuing people for the last few hours. Like 5 apartments have been set on fire TODAY, The police are reporting it to be gas leaks but the fires are too spread out to be a coincidence, I definitely saw a stone guy pouring gasoline on buildings. I don't think Martian man will be free anytime soon, its no use to go after him. By the way do u have ur phone on you? maybe we can call Alya or the others" Nino said. "I just bought one today. Do u remember Alya number? " Adrien asked, handing nino the Phone, he typed in Alya's number.

Alya picked up the phone, and explained to Nino about everything the class has done and that they decided to Continue their group "The Resistance" here to try to find a way Back home (Maybe fight crime here too) and that he should get to the student dorm. She then sent the location.

The Resistance which currently consisted of:
Adrien, Marinette , Alya, Nino, Max ,Rose , Julekha ,Ivan, Kim and Mylene,Decides to research the heroes so they can help them, like they did for ladybug and Chat noir

The missing students:

Alix
Nathaniel
Sabrina
Lila

The resistance holds a meeting in Juleka and rose's room to decide what to do:

Mylene :We have been missing for 4 days, Our parents are probably so worried.

Nino: Wait ,how long has it actually been?, Max was hit first and has been here for 8 days, he couldn't have been hit 15 mins before I did but I have only been here for 2. Time moves differently here.

Rose: Does that mean that age quicker?

Max: According to calculations, if approximate 15 mins in our dimension = 6 days here, one day back in our dimension should be equal to 576 days or 1.57808 years here. But also note that we may age slower or not at all considering that my nails have not grown at all, usually human fingernails grow at a rate of 0.5- 1.2 mm per week. And-

Nino : What is going on in this dimension. It moves so much faster but we don’t age?, we have to get out of here, We should start searching Ladybug and Chat Noir, I saw them getting hit while trying to save Chloe, if all of us got transported to this universe surly they got transported here too.

Adrien: There should also be other Paris citizens, won't the government here be suspicious by now why there are random French citizens with no government documentation here, it won't take long for them to start investigating into it. Maybe they can find a way back? The heroes here do work with the government.

Alya: We should track down one of them, maybe they can help us too, I saw a lot of news reports about them helping citizens, I am sure they are willing to help.

Ivan : I tried that already. I spotted green ghost and tried to get her attention but she didn’t stop, But in her defence she looked like she was in a rush and there was also a weird beeping coming off her.

Kim: Huh funny you say that, I definitely saw Darkwing swinging with a loud beeping coming from his suit , maybe it's like when ladybug and chatnoir run away half way through interviews. Do you think the heroes here have to "detransform" or whatever they call it too?

Alya: I don’t think so, this dimension is very different to our dimensions unlike the "Shadybug and Clawnoir Incident" where the villains and heroes were swapped and but the powers were still the same, but here when I tried searching Ladybug, Chatnoir and even Hawkmoth up but there is no info about them.No one even remotely similiar.

Marinette: I researched the heroes in this dimension and also believe ladybug and cat noir do not exist in this universe, also Kim, the beeping could have other reasons, Even in our universe, the new York heroes have been given their powers through various means, for example Darkwing apparently builds his Armor and tools that give him his powers himself

Juleka: Darkwing is pretty similar to Knightowl, …. And so is Majestia to Omni-man .Weird.
{Aren't Darkwing and Knightowl Dating now?, do u think…?}

Alya: we are getting off topic, The point is we need to get home, I think ladybug is our best bet to get to our dimension, speaking of the shadybug incident wasn't there a dimension traveling universe akuma once and Hesperia , the good hawkmoth of that dimension worked with ladybug and gave her that power? Do u think she can get his help?

Mylene: But Nino said that they also got hit, shouldn’t they have appeared in the news by now, there is a lot of crime here , especially superpowered criminals , I heard that some building caught on fire and there have been a rise in muggings recently , surely they should have offered to help the Heroes of this universe. What if they got transported into another universe?

Rose: Don’t think negatively Mylene, maybe they are here and helping but in a way to not bring unwanted attention to themselves, it would make defeating people when you're new a lot easier. Researching them would be useful to them, Maybe we should too.

Adrien: That’s actually a good idea that way we can help Ladybug and Chat noir But what if like….in theory...What if their powers don’t work here.

Nino : Then the responsibility falls too us too help the French citizens.

Juleka [mumbles]: Shouldn't we just wait for these heroes to help us.

Marinette : Julekas right, we should probably wait for government here to do something, surely we should wait for them to address it on the news? They can't ignore it for ever.

Max: I agree , we should check the news, maybe they are reporting about it now.

*Marinette turns on this news*

News reporter : The Guardians of the Globe has been reported to be dead with honorary member, omni man found heavily injured on the scene of the crime, he has been hospitalized, the culprit has not been found, there no evidence on scene nor is there any security footage. There are currently no suspects , who could be strong enough not only to win against all 7 of them but also be conscious enough to hide the evidence and escape. The authorities believe it to be a group instead and will continue their investigation. The funeral will be held soon, we wil………

*the room sat in shock*

Marinette : OH GOD.

Adrien : OH GOD NO.

Alya: WHAT?!!??? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?? I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING THE GUARDIANS OF THE GLOBE FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS, I DON’T THINK I HAVE SEEN ANY OF THEM INJURED IN ANY FIGHT. I DON’T BELIEVE ALL OF THE VILLAINS TOGETHER COULD HAVE EVEN LAYED A SCRATCH ON THEM. MOST OF THEM ARE PUSH OVERS. WHO COULD HAVE EVEN DONE THIS???

Mylene: HAS HACKMOTH FOUND THIS DIMENSION???!!??

Ivan: WHERE IS LADYBUG???? SURELY SHE CAN SAVE THEM?? EVERTIME SOMEONE DIES SHE BRINGS THEM BACK. SHE NEEDS TO BRING THEM BACK!

Alys: THE KILLER IS STILL OUT THERE, IF THEY ARE POWERFULL ENOUGH TO KILL THE GUARDIANS AND ALMOST KILL OMNI MAN THERE IS NO WAY THE OTHER TEAMS CAN BEAT THEM. WE NEED LADYBUG AND CHATNOIR!

Adrien : CALM DOWN EVERYO-

Alya: CALM DOWM????? HOW??? HAWKMOTH MAY HAVE KILLED THE STRONGEST HEROES IN THIS UNIVERSE?? AND EXPECT US TO STAY CALM??

Adrien: WE DON’T EVEN HAVE PROOF THAT IT WAS HACKMOTH, AND I BELIEVE IN LADYBUG, SURELY SHE CAN REVERSE IT, SHE HAS REVERSED IT EVERYTIME SOMEONE DIES IN PARIS SURELY SHE SAVE THEM & BRING THEM BACK!!

Alya: …….. Maybe you are right……

Ivan: HOW CAN U AGREE WITH HIM , WE DON’T KNOW IF SHES HERE??? WHAT IF SHE NOT??

Alya [Lying]: I saw her yoyo, I thought it was Darkwing s grappling hook but it seemed too thin, it seemed really similar to the ladybugs yoyo , she is here.

*Marinette glares at her from across the room*

Adrien [Lying] : I also saw cat noir on the buildings, I also thought it was Darkwing at the time. But I think it may have been cat noir.

Nino: Why didn’t u say anything then?

Alya: I didn’t think about until now, I just assumed it was Darkwing

Ivan: Hmmm. Ok but why hasn't she reversed it by now?

Adrien: I don’t actually know, surely she has a plan though.

Mylene: Calm down Ivan, if ladybug is here she will fix this.

Rose: Yeah Mylene's right, ladybug will bring them back. Like she always does.

Marinette [failing to appear calm]: She will come out of hiding and bring them back, till then I think we should go to sleep, its already 1:30 am, I have work in the morning, I am going to my room.

Alya: … yeah I will go with her, Nino and Adrien can bunk together

As they walk out, Alya rushed Marinette into their room,
Alya: You can power-up now , there is no one outside you can escape through the windows

Marinette{Panicking and stuttering] :….. I don’t have my miraculous, I checked everywhere that I could have dropped it but I can't find it I..I.. Don’t even know if she's here in this dimension she is in, we need to her, I need to go back out there, I need to find Tikki.

Alya: Wait. You don't have Tikki?, where's your miraculous, weren't you ladybug when you got hit??!?

Marinette: they disappeared when I got hit, just vanished, I don’t know if she can die but, I don’t even know where to start looking, I have been roaming aimlessly, I am a terrible holder, I should have found her by now, I need to go search for her

Alya: Marinette, Panicking won't help you, from what you told me, you didn't lose it, it was separated from you by the akuma. She is billions of years old and the kwami of creation, she can fly and pass through walls, she can escape from literally anyone if she ends up in the wrong hands. I trust her and know she is safe but we need to focus on getting her back she , I will help you and we know for sure that she is here, Chat noir found his, you can find yours, it's too late to go out , crime here will have increased considering how many superheroes just died or are heavily injured also, the murderer is also still out there.you don't have powers right now, DO.NOT.GO.OUT. Also as you just said, you don’t know where to go. Going around blindly won't do anything. Now, Go to bed, So you actually get enough sleep to search for her, I'll help u find her.

Marinette: But…the remaining others think ladybug is back. They believe I can bring them back. I can't fix anything. I can't even fight anyone. I'm useless.

Alya: I said that because I thought you had your miraculous. I apologize for that but Adrien said he saw Chat noir ,that means that he got his miraculous back, then Tikki has to be here as well. We just have to find her. I help you search tomorrow.

Next day

Alya and Mari start the search of Tikki, while searching they end up near the flaxan invasion ,they hide in the rubble and Alya started filming for info on the heroes, Marinette needed to help but she didn’t have the powers, only thing she could do was get Alya and maybe other citizens away from the cross fire. Just As she spots a path which she could use, A guy wearing a skin tight blue, black and yellow super suit arrives, She takes this opportunity to drag alya and push other citizens towards safety while the aliens are distracted by the new hero .Once she enters the alleyways between the buildings she urges the citizens to run as far as possible through the alleyway . She watches as people got hit with lasers blasts and exploded in a burst of blood and body parts.She starts panicing even more, she turned over to Alya, who stood perfectly still with fear clearly displayed on her face, she was not even focused to recording but still had her phone filming due to force of habit. Her attention returned to the hero. He got with one of the blasts and crashed into the ground as he got up and wiped a cilivians blood from his face, He seemed to have frozen from shock and just sat on the ground before rushing over to try to rescue a woman and trys to flee before accidentally crashing into the ground due to a blast, While he stands over her body, the teen team arrives. Atom eve tells him to take the woman to the hospital as they take over the fight.After a while of them fighting, the aliens seem to turn greyer and more wrinkly almost as if they aged rapidly. The aliens fled to the portals. The team talks about what happened and most of them leave except for Robot

Marinette gathers herself a bit. She was breathing heavily, slowly sits down trying to slow down he rheartbeat's turns to Alya who appeared to handle the situation a little better but still was breathing heavily. But still had not stopped recording. She turns her head back to the the rubble, she sees someone appear next to robot. She can barely over hear them. Apparently they were called flaxans and the actually aged quicker as she had suspected . The man who robot called "Cecil" asked robot how Invincible did in the fight, from the what robot told, she figured they were talking about the new hero. A person with the Acronym G.D.A plastered on her shoulder walks up to Marinette and Alya and asks if they were ok. Alya informs they were unharmed and just shocked and the agent escorts them off the scene.

they should probably return to the dorm, they footage to discuss with the others.

The second meeting

Alya: Did the news report about the alien invasion?

Kim: There was an alien Invasion???Aliens exist???

Nino: Martian Man is was also an alien, you know the hero we assigned you to research? Don't tell me you didn’t research anything

Kim: Uhhhh….

Max: Anyway we have seen it through the security cams I hacked but the news has yet to report on it. The cameras cut off after the fight so we don’t know anything about what teen team was talking about since the security cams had no audio

Marinette: We were there during the attack and Alya recorded the whole thing, this should probably help with researching the heroes right? Also why are you researching the Guardians

Rose: We decided to research them for when ladybug brings them back.

Alya:Righttt….

Rose: also we are trying to find the murderer, researching their powers help us see what powers could have taken down the guardians but until now the only hero we think we could have done is Omni-man but we are very early into the process, omni man seemed too close to the guardians to do that. We still have to research a lot of villains, monsters, aliens and maybe if we can't find anything, other superheroes groups, specifically fight force.

Max: Anyway we should probably let Markov watch the video and make an analysis for how powerful they are

Marinette: Wait, there Is important info at the end of the video that I want to discuss with all of us. Teen team had come to stop them and most of them left after the fight but robot had stayed to talk with a man, who I think may have been their boss. It may be useful to research more about him

*The group watches the end of the clip Alya filmed *

Mylene: OH GOD. SO MUCH BLOOD, 338 DEAD? MORE INJURED, OH-

Ivan: Stay strong mylene, Ladybug brought people back to life before, It was just less… bloody…

Kim: I Don't think I have seen that much blood before, When people died in our universe,they died instantly.

Marinette: wait , I saw a new hero two days ago ,he had a homemade suit; orange shirt, blue sweatpants, yellow bandana googles? Have u heard of him? he took down a criminal running from the cops. I pretty sure he was new from the way he fought, very chaotic. His powers are pretty similar to invincible, flight, super strength, invulnerable. Do you think it could be him. I don’t think there been any other new heroes recently, do we have any footage of him?

Max: Invincible was only ever seen fighting kill cannon before, so he is probably new, but that doesn't prove they r the same person

Marinette: Either way I think focus on researching the GDA, They appear to be the department that works with the heroes seeing how robot is reporting to him. The guy also asked about invincible, they are keeping tabs on him, he is definitely important, he does seem to have potential , he got hit twice by them, but besides being knocked back, he didn't get hurt. All the blood on him … was from the citizens…..

Kim: Ladybug is really taking her time. She usually brings everyone back immediately is she taking so long?

Marinette: Yeah you right. you know what I should go out and search for her.*She rushes out*

Kim: Huh? whats up with her?

Adrien {Thinking}:The new hero appeared the same day that mark got his powers, there is a good possibility that the hero was mark , he probably just immediately used his powers without getting used to them like I did, that why he was fighting so chaotic when marinette saw him

I do have a shift tomorrow, if he is there I could probably befriend him. Get more info on him and help him out as chat noir (when he gets it back).

Adrien walks to his next shift at the burger mart. Why had he lied to the class about seeing Chat noir?

At least he hadn't messed it up entirely. Ladybug was here with her miraculous. She should have a plan to revive the Guardians.

She probably hadn't done anything yet because she was waiting for him to show up.probably. He should get back to searching for plagg. But how? He couldn't ask for help from the Resistance or invincible because plagg would immediately appear when they picked the ring up. Where could he even be? He had searched all the streets thoroughly, Did someone pick it up? No, plagg would flee as soon as he became corporeal, he couldn't have been stopped from fleeing because you needed knowledge about the miraculouses for that and no one knew what they were. If someone had activated his miraculous, plagg was probably searching for Adrien. He on the other hand was sort of stuck doing nothing, he already searched the streets of Chicago near where he fell thoroughly. Should he try to leave a letter for ladybug for help to find his miraculous?

Ehh… no idea seemed like it would be successful yet. Oh- he hadn't noticed he reached the building.

And thankfully mark was on the job. Do heroes here keep their identity a secret? A few of them didn’t try to hide their faces like atom eve and Dupli Kate, maybe he could ask mark about Invincible?

As Adrien clocked in, he noticed that mark looked upset. He asked him about it.

Mark: My dad was injured during a recent attack and is in the hospital. I don't exactly know what happened but my mom and I am worried sick about him, we never seen him so injured.

Adrien: Oh. I am sorry to hear that, I know what it's like, my father was injured recently too in a superhero related accident. If you want anyone to talk to, I am here, I know we are not that close, but I will always be happy to lend an ear if you u need to vent anything. Also if you don't mind me asking, What do you mean "before", do people here get injured a lot here?

Mark: Oh! Uh.. No I meant like, I have not seem anyone so injured before, my family has been fortunate enough to be never be injured critically due to criminal activities. But yeah its fine, sounds like you u have been going through a lot too, but can we talk about something else please. It sounds like your new here?

Adrien: oh yeah I moved here a few days ago.

Mark: Must be hard change, a lot more heroes and crime to get adjusted to right? Where did you live before moving?

Adrien: I used to live in Paris, like you said, the heroes are the biggest change, but they are really interesting. Have you seen the new hero…Uh..INVINCIBLE.. Yeah, that’s their name, they seem cool right?

Mark: you mean…. the guy who froze after seeing blood, then flew away…..?

Adrien: Yeah… I mean all heroes start from somewhere, his powers seem cool, like almost identical to omni-man.

Mark: I guess your standards are low, Paris didn't have heroes huh? But I don't really see the resemblance to Omni-Man.*Akward laugh* What do you you see that’s similar?

Adrien: yup, zero heroes in Paris, But now that I think about it, the similar powers is only the similarity. Anyway, have you heard of the random citizens appearing?

Mark: No? what are you talking about?

Adrien: you know the random citizens claiming they got transported here by a multi-dimensional villain called Hawkmoth and heroes named Ladybug and chat noir or cat noir? Haven't heard of it?

Mark: No? Did that really happen? Weir-

Manager: MARK! GET OVER HERE!

Mark and Adrien turn over to see the manager enter from the back door. Mark goes over to the manager and followed him out the back. Adrien watches the manager shout at him, and watched mark quit and disappear. Adrien rushes out and looks up to find mark in air. He still needed to get his number so he tried to follow mark but the manager(who apparently didn't notice mark flying even though marked dropped his apron from the AIR) who told Adrien that he would be fired is he followed him. So he also quit, he rushed out finding mark flying off Adrien shouted Mark's name, mark looked down , he then looks down at himself like he just realized he was flying in CIVILIAN CLOTHES . Adrien turned his head back down and started acting as if he was looking for mark on the ground. Mark landed in a nearby street and turned around the corner to face Adrien.

Adrien: Oh I was searching for you. How are you so fast? Anyway before you leave, I wanted to talk to you.

Mark: I so sorry for storming off. I didn't mean to leave you with all the work. What did you want to ask?

Adrien: Oh yeah don't worry about that, I quit too. There is no one working there currently, I think he has to work the whole shift.

Mark: wait why? Do you not need the job?

Adrien: I don't need money immediately, its minimum wage, I could find many other similar jobs. I hated the manager anyway, but I stopped you to exchange contact info. I bought a new phone a few days ago.

Mark: Sure why not? My number is ##########, also sorry for accidently throwing that trash bag across the road…. I don't know how I did that. I have been working out recently-

Adrien: oh yeah you don't have to justify anything ,I should probably head home now,

Mark: yeah: I still have school tomorrow

Adrien returned to the dorm to research the GDA . The government never released any statements on that sector on the government. They were always referred to as 'the government'. They are never mentioned anywhere, No info on what exactly they do. Nothing. and also , still no sightings of ladybug, He tried searching for sightings of French citizens or plagg, nothing again, all the news sources are reporting on The guardians death. Looks like the news won't report on anything until the funerals over and everything has settled down. Its no use to research them so he might as well go out and search for something, maybe plagg or another hero, he saw atom eve flying around. He left the dorm at 8 and started searching.

As it gets darker, Marinette looks at her bulletin board, Some of the heroes identities will be pretty easy to find, Atom eve has her face uncovered, maybe if she can find atom eve , she can ask for help to find the miraculouses. Maybe she should follow one of the teen team members next time she appears, she could create a schedule of their patrol and activities, she had one for Adrien how hard could it b-

*Adult bunnix appears and takes Marinette to the burrow*

Bunnix : Hey! Minibug !

Marinette: BUNNIX ? What ar you doing here!?

Bunnix: I was sent over by future you to help, I can't explain everything now but ,here is the miraculous of the horse, use it to investigate the murder of the guardians , be careful the miraculouses are significantly weaker in this dimension, using it too much in the weakened state could hurt you like what it did to shadybug and clawnoir , you can use the burrow to hold meetings. Soon you won't have the luxuries of speaking without being spied on.

Marinette: How are even here? You can't travel through dimensions, can you?

Bunnix: Long story short I altered the timeline, I took Hesperia from before they left, convinced them to help fix the time line. You and chatnoir being hit and not escaping caused the main timeline to end.In the original time-line hawkmoth tried to bring you back by releasing the akuma and deakumatizing them but that didn’t work, So he tried to create an akuma specially to steal the miraculouses from this dimension but that failed and akuma accidently ended up destroying the entirety of that universe and the future,with only the past left me asking for Hesperia's help was the only option and he akumatised future you with multiversal travel powers to help me but since I changed the timeline even more and changed the past, if we fail now, the past will also disappear. Good news though, we know that our plan could work , there is a specific line of events and decisions future you made that lead to a successful outcome. Bad news, if something goes even slightly out of the very specific and tight set of events, our universe just disappears, and may end up taking this universe down with it.I can't tell you what to do but I'll help wherever I can.

Marinette: Wait does that mean our universe currently does not exist????

Bunnix : Yup, but future you helped restore it, actually Tikki did most of the work, she recreated the whole universe, Also she created this for you, this so you can enter the burrow , but can't travel through it *Hands her a small ladybug-themed pocket watch along with the horse miraculous*.It id not a miraculous, it's just a magical pocket watch.

Marinette: wait, if you have future ladybug, why can't yo-

Bunnix: I have to leave before you learn to much, all this may be stressful but you can do this, Goodbye!

Mari: WAI-

*Bunnix open a portal steps through and yells "also don't touch any portal on the walls on your way out" and the portal disappears*

Marinette: *sighs* Looks like I have to figure out how to get out of here myself, maybe this *holds up pocket watch* works similar to the rabbit miraculous.

She clicks the top dial and it pops open, the hands of the clock don't appear to work but the projection of the lady was replaced with a ladybug themed- eldritch being?

she presses the dial up again and A portal opens up behind her, and she exits the borrow.

Chapter Text

Marinette and Alya go to the last reported sightings of the Flaxans. They hid nearby in an abandoned building, Marinette enters the burrow to transform into her hero form) and left to get as many civilians out of the crossfire as possible .

Alya started recording teen team to collect info on them. They seemed to be the most prominent and strongest team after the guardians, which also makes them the main suspects in the murder of the guardians.

Marinette realizes that they had never used the horse miraculous for combat

How do you even fight using a horse shoe?

After setting up a portal to a safer place behind some rubble , out of sight of the Flaxans and does her best to save as many civilians as she can and directs them to the portal ,thinking about how much easier it would be she had the ladybug's miraculous, using her yoyo to tie the civilians up and reel them away to safety from far away, save them quicker, save....everyone . She slows down and stares at the bodies of dead civilians ,panic sets in and she pauses just standing staring at the bodies. While she is distracted a Flaxan hits her with a laser blast and is sent across the street and into a building.

*Alya rushes over to Marinette*

Alya: CAN YOU HERE ME?! ARE YOU OK?

Marinette (slowly getting up):What are you doing Here? Leave before you get hurt, we can talk later. you may-(she grabs Alya and dodges a blast )

Marinette: Its not safe here, you have to leave.

Alya: Wait-

Marinette: Sorry, not now . I need to recharge

Alya: Fine. But be careful! (runs away to a safer place)

Marinette hides in an alley and gives Kaalki a bit of sandwich to recharge, before re-entering the battle, she notices the teen team , How long have they been there? Kaalki finishes and Marinette returns to battle

she throws the horseshoe at one of Flaxans. It them flies back like a boomerang. Marinette fails to catch it as it returns and hits her square in the face.
(The teen team finally notice her. )

Rex: Where do these newbies keep coming from? First "Invincible" then you? Who even are you?

Marinette: I haven't thought of a name yet… I-

Robot: I suggest you leave, we have this handled.

Marinette: I can help. I saved most of the civilians myself while you were fighting also don't they age really quick, why aren't they aging??

Robot: From my understanding, time moves quicker in their dimension , The three days for us would have been decades for them. They seemed to have found a way to stop aging with in that time.

Marinette: Does that mean we have to defeat all of them??

Rex: WE are going to defeat them. I doubt you can do much with that horse shoe.

Robot: I suggest yo-

Atom-eve: RUN!

*Atom eve uses her power to break the defenses of the Flaxan army and pushes the front line back, a flying mechanical orb trap that was hidden amongst the Flaxans army attaches to her face and she collapses from its shocks.

Invincible gets stuck In a sticky plaster and can't escape and the rest of the teen team gets incapacitated by the army.

Marinette watches as their leader approaches eve and holds her at gun point and before she could react, invincible escapes his trap and beats up the leader and goes back to help eve, the leader sends one of the tranquilizing machine he used on eve at Marinette

As she attempts to use voyage to free herself from the machine but the shocks cause her to flail around and use voyage on the ground accidently opening it under the leader and some of the soldiers, sending them into the sun.

Invincible flies over the huge portal and rips off the contraption from her face, as she raises up her head, gasping for air she looks near her feet where leader is hanging of the edge of the portal ,his lower body burnt. The broken and cracked watch on his hand explodes causing him to age rapidly ,as he get older his grip weakens and he slowly goes deeper and deeper into the hole before eventually falling and disintegrating into the sun. Both invincible and Marinette stare down the portal horrified, Marinette closes the portal.

Few of the Flaxans at the near the front try to retreat after the death of their leaders, The remaining still try to fight:

Robot: Their wristbands protect them from our time streams, destroy-

Rex: ARE WE JUST GOING TO IGNORE THAT , SHE CREATED A PORTAL TO THE SUN AND SENT THOUSANDS OF THEM INTO THE SUN???!?

Marinette: I didn’t mean to…... I tried to open a portal between me and the device….. I was trying to escape.. I don't know why it opened to the sun..

Dupli-Kate: we can talk about that later, now focus on the fight

*Robot takes a watch and produces the shockwave to destroy all their watches, as the start aging , they retreat*

It has been 3 minutes since Marinette used her powers*

Rex: Now , Who are you?

Marinette(beeping coming from her miraculous): I have to go I will explain later (she leaves jumping to the top of a nearby roof and jumps from roof to roof.)

Rex: YOUR JUST GOING TO LEAVE !? ALMOST SENDING ME INTO THE SUN AND THEN LEAVE??

*Invincible gets a phone call and also leaves*

Rex: Yeah just leave, ASSHOLES!!

*Marinette hides in an alleyway behind one of the burnt apartment, enters the burrow and detransformed.*

Kaalki: Marinette? What happened? Why are you breathing so heavily?

Marinette [Breathing heavily]: Wh.Why…did I do that? I I..I murdered thousands of them and.. Almost killed th..the teen team…. I need to get my miraculous back immediately.[feeds kaalki a bit of sandwich]

Kaalki: Calm down, You are the glorious holder of my miraculous, crying won't do you any good, As much as i hate to admit it, I seem to have grown weaker here, You control over your powers have also weakened. When you used my miraculous to remove the machine from your face , the shocks caused your body to enter a kind of Fight or flight response and well, it choose to Fight. And ,Personally while I am insulted you would want a miraculous over mine. We will eventually get you back to Tikki. Surely she can fix this. With you, my fabulous holder and me, the noble steed there is nothing we can't do! Now pull yourself together and go meet Alya. You told her that you would meet her after the fight.

*Marinette open her bag and Kaalki enters it*

Kaalki: [Yawns] I apologize for that, I just feel really tired , more than when usual. I am going to get some beauty sleep.

*Marinette exists the burrow and calls Alya and they meet up back at the dorm*

Adrien and Nino watch the news report about the second Invasion. Taking notes about the heroes

Nino: The Flaxans came back already? Hopefully that is not a common occurrence here.

Adrien: Is that a new hero?

Nino: Oh , wait the horse girl? Yeah pretty sure we haven't seen her before. So This universe also has animals themed heroes ?

Adrien: Wait, Teleportation, the horse shoe and the glasses? Isn't that really similar to Pegasus right? Doesn't He also gets his powers from a miraculous? Do you think she also gets her powers from a miraculous?

Nino: Wait. You could be on to something here. Does that mean that this universe also has miraculouses? Didn't you and Alya say that they don't exist here?

Adrien: I mean there have been no reported sightings of the miraculous here. Maybe this is the first time the public has ever seen them here. Didn't the ladybugs exist since like ancient Egypt? But we only came to know from the current holder 9 months ago?

Nino: How do you know so much about the holders? Did I tell you all of that?

Adrien: OH!. No I just learned it from.. The ladyblog. Yeah the ladyblog.

Nino: oh yeah Alya knows a lot more about the miraculouses than I do .I should probably ask her when she finishes talking to Marinette. Well I think we should continue watching

News reporter: Before a giant Portal appeared dropping them into the sun
Adrien: Woah..

Nino: Wait a minute Something exactly like this happened during the "Froggy / Risk" akuma? Ladybug told Pegasus to drop more of the senti-monsters into the sun.

Adrien: what if the miraculouses got transported here from our dimension?

Nino: but doesn't hawkmoth currently has them? Do you think he gave the miraculous to her?

Adrien: So she is very likely a miraculous holder? Do you think she could be from Paris? I doubt either hawkmoth or ladybug would give them out to someone from this dimension.

Nino : I think we should find her. I mean a super powered individual appearing just when the guardians where murdered and is wearing a miraculous that is currently held by hawkmoth is a pretty suspicious.

Adrien: I am not sure But let's at least research more about her first.

Nino: I guess, let's see what the others have found

Marinette and Alya are talking in their dorm

Alya: What did you want to talk about?

Marinette: I Don't think I can do this. I am not used to seeing these many bodies, I keep… freezing at them , slowing down to look at them, I don't think I have seen so much blood or these many bodies. People died in our fights, I know that but… their deaths were almost always instant. I Can't even reverse it without Tikki. I miss her….

Alya: I know , me too , this seems so much more serious than with hawkmoth. But still, Bunnix said future you managed to fix this. She said you managed to find Tikki to fix everything. Future you found her so WE can find her. We can to fix this. We Just need a plan. I'll help you in any way possible

Marinette:…..I could probably try to get closer to the heroes,

Alya: that seems like it may be a good start, What are you going to call yourself?

Marinette: What about Veillen [Veil-Len] . You know like Velliantif.

Alya: Sure why not ?

[silence]

Alya: do you think the teen team could have done it?

Marinette: I didn't really talk to them enough to know or make assumptions. They don't really have a reason to, I mean it just means more work and less help for them

*gets up and starts to fill her purse with snacks*

Alya: where are you going?

Marinette: I want to get more used to the horse miraculous before entering another fight, I was flailing around , struggling to attack or dodge attacks during the invasion.

Alya: Alright. I need to see what Adrien and Nino learnt from the news and also need to publish my clip .

Marinette: Wait what clip , did you not leave when I told you to? You're continuing your blog?

Alya: sorry , I just wanted to record it.

Marinette: Its just that it feels much more dangerous than before, are you sure you want to do this now? Let me at least get the ladybug miraculous first just so I can heal you if you get injured.

Alya: maybe the ladyblog can help me communicate with our universe, its not like I have anything else to do.

Marinette: Could you please just wait till I get my miraculous back.

Alya [begrudgingly] : Alright.

On rooftops of Chicago

Veillen hopped on to a rooftop, she planned to try to find Chat Noir or at least any other hero. But first she needed to figure out how to use a horse shoe as a means of transport.

She throws the horseshoe onto a pole that is sticking out the top of a near-by apartment. The horseshoe twirls around the pole before hitting the ground and teleporting Veillen to it, causing her to land on her face

As she gets up and realises she had teleported of the top of the building where she had hidden in on the first day. Descending down from the roof she realizes that the suspicious van was still here and the backdoor was wide open, but instead unlike last time there were actual crates of burger-mart products in it. More cloning machine blueprints, She felt that they were important but did not know how, The van belonged to the mauler twins and taking them at least meant they did not have it. Maybe she should ask Max to take a look at them, while finishing up packing up the last of the blueprints she spots a large shadow carrying an large crate. She leaves from the van and hides behind a pillar.

The mauler twin puts down the crate he was carrying and starts searching for something, as he tries to find whatever he was searching for, he realizes that the blueprints have also been stolen, when he storms out of the back of the van Marinette decides to take the entire van for further investigation, as she opens the portal to move the van to an abandoned building. The Mauler twin realizes that the person that stole the papers was still here.

Mauler Twin: What do you want hero?

Veillen [ Stepping into the light] : Criminal career really went downhill after failing to murder the president huh? Why are even you robbing a Burger-mart? I doubt it has much money.

Mauler: Mind your own business pony girl. I and my clone dealt with all the guardians together. What can you - a singular, new hero even do?

Veillen :Let's just get this over with.

As they start fighting Veillen feels the presence of eyes from the shadows. Was the person that followed her before still here? She spots something around the corner and almost gets hit with a car he had thrown . She kicks it back at him and runs to the corner but can't spot anyone. The mauler twin throws off the car and punches Veillen through the wall. She catches the next punch and pins his hand to the wall using her horseshoe which she splits into two halves dividing it into half its width. The mauler tries to punch her again with his free hand but she jumps back and throws the second one to lock his leg into the ground.

As she steps back to see if he can escape. He can't.

She walks out of that street searching for a police station. When she looks back she realizes the mauler twin is missing and there is a note on the ground .

"Don't worry, We have them in our custody. Good work Kid "

Her horseshoes were on the ground. How did they even de-attach them? She reconnects them back to one . Maybe she should try to message Chat. There are no buttons on the horseshoe. While tinkering with it, her hand graces the middle and a hologram appears in the middle of the two projecting sides of the horse shoe. She opens the phone app and see an empty contacts list where Chat's contact should be. Before she can figure it out, her miraculous start beeping and she leaves.

Was the GDA who had followed her? As she detransformed, she extra care to hide. She should research about them .She hasn't actually done anything to help the others in their research in a long time. She also still had to deal with that van.

Chapter Text

Nino, Adrien and a few of the others are researching about the heroes of this universe. Adrien Tries to call Mark but gets sent to Voicemail. He looks back at his notes, every piece of evidence he has leads back to mark being invincible.

His powers being the exact same, the new hero appearing the same day that Adrien saw him get his powers, The similar facial structures. Everything pointed back to mark being invincible .He also seemed to be connected to Omni-man somehow, he was the one who was training him and they sorta had similar face structures, could they were related? Maybe omni man had a civilian identi-

Nino [Handing him his phone]: I just found some amateur footage of the pony girl fighting a mauler twin in a dark alley.

Adrien [Squinting]: I can barely see anything.

Nino: True, but it's definitely her I mean, the glowing portal is a pretty dead giveaway.

Adrien: Do you really believe that she could be working with hawkmoth? She seems pretty new at this. Do you really think she could have defeated the guardians even with Hawkmoths help?

Nino: Alya laughed it off at first too but she became more convinced as she thought about it. I'm telling you, there is a connection. You just don't see it yet.

Alya [Entering the room] :Nope, still don't believe it, your theory just made me realize something else. You sound like a conspiracy theorist by the way [faking being disappointed] I taught you to be better than this Nino.
But like seriously though have any of you seen Marinette? I can't find her anywhere.

Rose: she told me that she was going out. Didn't specify for what though.

Alya: Oh ok.

Mylene: Hope she's Safe

[A small gap where no one talks]

Adrien:…….. Do you think our other classmates are safe? I thought the government would have at least acknowledged us by now but… there is still no statement ,no accommodations, no help, nothing.

Max: still no sighting of Ladybug either.

Rose: I really hope they're ok….

Mylene: I never really realised how used to relying on ladybug I am, I sometimes - without even realizing just wait for the ladybug swarm to arrive and just wake up back in the classroom, Safe and sound with them back, continuing the rest of my day, completely forgetting that this ever happened.

Juleka: I never realized that I forget about the Akumas where I got killed.

I remember once seeing a news report where I died in the background and was surprised since I don't remember anything that happened between going to get croissants from Marinette's Bakery with Luka and ladybug helping me up to my feet. I forgot I died, completely erased from my memory.

I thought nothing of it since its normal in our dimension to just disappear for some time and come back like nothing happened. But here… people just…. die…

Mylene: I just… want to curl up into a ball and wait, wait for ladybug and chatnoir to fix and go home. I miss my Dad so much…

Ivan: I know Mylene, but be strong. Ladybug will fix this.

Kim: Until then, Should we make missing person reports to the police?

Nino: With what evidence? we don't have any real government documentation that they exist. Even with the Documents Max made for us, drawing the government's attention to our FAKE documents is a bad plan.

Juleka: There so much that could go wrong ,the killer is still out there .What if Ladybug got killed, even if not. It's been so long, could she even reverse it at this point?

Rose: Don't think negatively Juleka! I am sure they are still alive and finding a way to get back to our home

Alya: Speaking of disaster scenarios. Max, do we have any suspects?

Max: The Teen Team is our main suspects, Atom eve's One of the strongest alive heroes in theory but She doesn't use her powers to its fullest extent. Maybe even Hawkmoth

Alya:……No one else? I mean none of them are injured, If they really did fight the guardians, shouldn't at least of them have at least be 𝘴𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘭𝘺 injured? That along with the fact that they don't have a motive makes me feel like they aren't very likely to be suspects. Also Hawkmoth's villains aren't very stealthy Are you sure you don't have 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 in mind?

Max:….Nope, None.

Alya: [Rubbing forehead] Alright so the police are of no use to us (sighs),Well it looks like we have to do it ourself.

[said like a motivational speech]
We know ladybug is doing everything that she can to help us. We have to return the favour and help all the citizens of Paris be safe till her and Chatnoir figure out a solution! That will be the main adjective of the resistance from now on! To find our citizens and bring them to safety!

Kim: Hell Yeah! [Grabs his schoolbag and Runs out filled with determination]

Mylene: He doesn't know where he is going, does he?

Nino: yep.

Alya: well. What I was going to say before he just ran out is that we have to try to actually get the attention of a hero. If Ladybug and Chatnoir are truly out there, we should get their attention. I think we should first try to get Chatnoir to help us.

Adrien: uhhh..I personally think 𝘓𝘢𝘥𝘺𝘣𝘶𝘨 would be the better choice for this, we should start with her first. Then we can try to find Chatnoir.

Alya [Obviously Lying] :I mean.. I didn't see ladybug that well but we know for a fact 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘯𝘰𝘪𝘳 is here …right?

Adrien:[Stumbling over his words] : Yeah but …like.. Ladybugs the tactician, surely.. she will be more helpful…

Nino: Look, it doesn’t matter who we get first, we'll search for both of them.

Alya: Alright…. moving on from that Me, Max and Marinette will try to find the Murder and you all can try searching for our classmates and identities of heroes

Veillen portals to the van. Still barricaded in the scraps of metal she had used to hide it from the public. Why would the mauler even need these many crates of burger meat anyway. She just stared at the suspiciously "fresh" meat that had been stored at room temperature in a van for the past twelve 12 hours. The patty had thawed out and that was left was a gooey casing on the patties .

{Ew. This stuff cannot be good for you, does it even spoil? Oh, and was also a part of a supervillain's plan, yeah that probably shouldn't be eaten.}

she slowly steps away from the mystery meat and notices a locked safe which she cracks open with her super strength, More blueprints and scrap sheets with calculations written in a barely legible handwriting are stored in neat stacks almost reaching the roof of the vault. The makeshift desk had various tools.

{Max needed some new tools, I sure the GDA will not mind if I take these}

Before she could steal potential evidence from a crime scene her horseshoe starts ringing.

"Hey girl. I just wanted to let you know that both of us and Max are the only ones working on the Guardians case now and I think Max may know who the killer Is but is not telling me"

She detransforms and catches Kaalki from plummeting to the ground, they looked exhausted and weak. Marinette Quickly gives them her entire sandwich.

"Marinette?(Slowly sits up) I so tired and dizzy, as I said using my powers here is much more exhausting here [ eats the whole sandwich in one bite] could I please sleep in your purse?"

[Marinette opens the bag and places a Napkin and a piece of paper in her purse to form a bed with a blanket for Kaalki and after they get comfortable Marinette rushes back to dorm while trying to keep the bag outstretched in her hands, as steady as possible )

Marinette walks up to her dorm, exhausted from running and slams the door open. Alya is not here but there is a note on her table. Marinette plops down on her bed and reads it.

She groans and catches her breath for a moment before checking up on Kaalki. They are sleeping peacefully In her bag. She sets her purse down carefully and leaves to talk to Max and Alya.
As she enters, she hears them arguing.

Max: As I told you before. teen team is the only suspect right now!

Alya: They are not even slightly injured! Not a single scratch on one of them! You know this! Stop pretending that you don't!

Max: Atom eve could have healed them!

Marinette: She can't heal organic matter Max.

Max:… Robot is not organic.

Alya: But could he survive a 1 vs 7

Max: The others could have helped!

Marinette: It’s the only theory that makes sense so far. The other hero teams are also not injured or much weaker than the guardians and teen team . Of their villains, most of them are in prison like the mauler twins or uninjured, they all have been defeated by all the Guardians a number of times.

Max :But that doesn't make omni-man the killer, he's just the only survivor.

Alya: But that means they fought each other? Why would they even do that?

Max: I am not sure. I am not even sure that Omni-man could win the 1 vs 6 fight

Marinette: We don't know if it was a 1vs 6. He could have a team of members who sided with him but didn't survive . There could have been multiple teams.

Alya: we don't even know he was one trying to kill them. Just cause he survived doesn't mean he wasn't one of the victims. Hell ,They all could have been trying to kill him from what we know!

Max: Yeah you two are right… but what about hawkmoth. He could have helped or he could be the murder and we are just pinning it on the Guardians and Omni-man for no reason

[Marinette and Alya look over at each other for a minute . Both knowing that Hawkmoth probably died when their universe ended]

They are approached by a shadowy figure. As they enter the light, they realize Its are a regular human mugger

Max[whispering]:Also the guy Alya saw is probably a hero so play it cool.
