Chapter Text

It was never clear to anyone that if Sun Wukong, the Monkey King would have parents or any kind of parental guardian.

Seeing as he was born from a stone egg, unlike other demons and he was full grown too when he had hatched from his egg.

But what if they were wrong.

What if he had some kind of parental figure in his life, and what if it was more then one person.

This is just basically diffiernet snipes of Sun Wukong having other people as his family.

High up in the heavens, through the golden and jade kingdom. Into the palace, past the royal guards, in an office filled to the brim with paper work lay across the huge desk hidden underneath shows an old man.

Silence. It was so quiet that the old man had fallen asleep from overdosing with all the work, crowded his eyes.

KA-BOOM!

The sudden explosion had made the whole heaven shake from the impact. It startled the old God to awake. His eyes widen looking around the room trying to find the source of the sound that had startled him from his well earned break.

Annoyed filled his face realising who and what had happened. Second have not even past when a small figure had crashed into the room through the large door, leaving it hanging out broke from the side.

He sighs, hand coming up to his face. "What have you done now" he groans having not enough sleep to deal with the other person. Or should I say Monkey.

"Relax, it wasn't that big of an explosion old man" said the intruder with no guilty or shame that he had not just caused more paperwork to the Enperor.

His eyes gleam with excitement as his smile grows bigger. Eyes lock on to the Jade Emperor.

"Wukong..." Yu huang said in a stern voice as he got up from his desk and walked around to meet the simian. Towering over the small king.

Wu Kong scoffed "it was nothing I swear!" Looking away as he crossed him arms and with his eye closed and his back facing the Emperor.

Still the same stubborn child I saw back then, Yu huang thought.

The beam of light had struck through the Jade palace in such speed it was so unexpected where and what had caused it.

Paperwork. So much paperwork. Yu huang was having an hellish headache, he had sent guards down to the mortal realm to see what problem that had made the sudden light beam.

Half an hour later the guards had returned with quite a story, about finding a baby Monkey that had apparently been born from a stone egg.

He, the Emperor had of course did not believe something as silly to be the reason for the light. He thought about laughing at how stupid the guards thought he was as simple minded to fall for such stories.

He would have laughed.

If not for the crying baby monkey demon that was shoved into his arms as the guard that had brought him in could not handle the simian any longer.

This had angered the Emperor as what is he supposed, how is he going to calm the demon Monkey.

Surprisingly I had somewhat worked as the demon had stopped crying his lungs out when he saw the Emperor. I was awkward for the Jade Emperor to to look at the child, a shiver had ran down his spine when he saw the little monkey smile in a mischievous way.

As quick as light the baby monkey had effortlessly climb up Yu huang arms up to his shoulder. The baby had decided to ride on the Emperor shoulder, he had giggled as hands try to grab him off only fo him to hide in Yu huang long hair.

His fun was cut short when giant hand grabbed him by the scruff of his neck. He mewed as the sudden roughness of the hand.

Tears threaten to break form his glossy eyes, mouth open ready to let out a cry. Seeing this Yu huang lessen his hand on the infants neck as he slowly brings him down to his chest. As the demon infant let out a small sob into his robes.

The guards immediately try to pray the sobbing demon of the Jade Emperor but to no luck the infant held on tighter. Signing Yu huang had aloud the sobbing simian demon to cling to him.

He looked at the guards, as they stood there, sweat beads cling to their own skin unsure if they'll get in trouble to bring the demon into the Jade Emperor office.

Realising that now that was not a great idea to begin with.

Realising the guards still unsure what to do just standing in the room, the Emperor quickly and loundly commanded them to a different job. After seeing they leave Yu huang went to his desk with the infant still cling to his chest and sat down on to his chair moving the scrolls and paper to the left side of the desk making room for the infant to sit.

The small male demon Monkey sniffed his noise as he began to slowly wipe the tears going down his face in rivers with nothing but his hands, eyes red from all the crying he had done early.

Yu huang watched silently think back to how something this small and easy to break was the reason for that powerful bast of light earlier this morning. He was so focused on his thoughts that the Monkey had stop crying and began looking for something to play with yet again.

Unfortunately for him Yu huang had noticed his sudden movement. Grabbing the demon baby by it's armpits he picks him up to face him, the demon infant looked at the Emperor in curiosity as he tilted his small head to the side.

"What are you?" Question Yu huang as of just now, noticing a strange energy emitting form the monkey a powerful power.

Unsure of what kind of power this infant could potentially have. He certainly didn't want it near him as it could harm both his palace and himself.

Calling out for guards again, he told them to send the infant back to where they found him.

The baby in question having observing both the strange hairless being talk above him. He was to lost in his observation that he had fail to notice hands grabbed him by the waist and picking him up.

He cried in surprised as they had begun to walk away from the strange long bearded hairless monkey. He wrestle against the other hairless moneky guards that held him up. He fights, brawl, tussle but to no avail he just couldn't break free.

Tears interrupted his fight against the other, as he erupt bawling never ending crys for the older man, as the doors to the strange room closing behind him. Only seeing a glimpse of the older man from his seat at the weird shaped wood that blocked his lower body. He turned away.

Calling out one last time for him man before the doors slammed shut.

Later that even the guards had successfully placed the demon infant back we it belonged. Leaving him to the dangers of this new world he had called home.

Not long he could hear something shifting through the deep forest that surrounded him, scared the little monkey ran up a tree and quickly and quietly looked down to see what had caused the sounds. Cougar.

He might have only just been born into this new and strange world, but that doesn't mean he couldn't tell what was danger and what was not. He was not stupid that was for sure, he didn't know what or why that he has already knew these things.

Sure enough the cougar had finally left after losing its prey. The little monkey found this quit amusing, such a large predator yet it still failed to get this little infant.

The little demon had decided that it was nap time after finding a comfortable place on the branch. Sleep taking over him.

In the heavens Yu huang was busy tending to his over flowing of scrolls and paper, he had been so tired recently that he keeps ending up sleeping on his work.

Still as his duties as the Jade Emperor of heaven, he has to make an example of himself. To other smaller or large God or Goddess.

His mind trails back to that little demon Monkey infant, he might have been a bit cruel to let it go on it own. He should be fine there are many other demons monkey on that mountain, he thought as he continues on writing in the scroll with a quill.

He stops, but then again he was only just born recently, did he even have a mother with him? Yu huang thought as he just for some reason couldn't let it go.

Shihou that was the little demons name, apparently not long after he arrived on the mountain a pair of elderly demon monkeys had found him sleeping, a female and a male.

They both did not know who's infant this was of if it was part of their troop. Unsure the male elder was thinking of killing it until the female in stopped him in his tracks.

They argue over how if they should just kill the infant or bring him back to their troop.

"What if he's a spy!?" Acussed the older man as his anger starts to rise.

"A SPY. YOU think that a small infant like this could possibly be a spy!?" Yelled back the elder woman, in outrage of such a Ridiculous idea.

"He is but just an infant!" She cried out as the older man pushed past her and start walking with his knife already out.

She trys to interven but was pushed to the side.

The little infant watched as the elderly demon held up his knife. Ready to take his life in an instant.

Lmao I have gone off the rails here, the story is changing as I continue to write.

And honestly I can't think of anything else to continue on for this, it was supposed to be a little one shot fic.

Just for me to imagine.

I might finish this off, mostly like not now or tomorrow. But who knows if you readers have any suggestions I'll be happy to hear.

Also sorry if my grammar is incorrect, I basically suck at writing, but did this any way.

"SHIHOU GET OUT OF BED, YALL LAZY BUM!" Pigsy yell out the top of his lungs, throughout the shop as he stomps around in the kitchen. still no answer came from upstairs of the noodle shop. Pigys huffs as he packs another box of noodles. MK zips by and quickly grabs it with two other boxes already packed in his tuk-tuk deliver car.

"MK, could you go and check on your brother upstairs he still has not come down from his room" Pigys called out to Mk as he goes by him with the noodle boxes.

"Sure! no problem Pigys" Mk happily reply, rushed up to him and Shihou room. slamming the door open in a flash causing Shihou to fall out of ed in a fright. He slowly raises up from the floor with his covers over his head. looking at his brother with a dead plane look, "what do you want" he whines as he tries to climb back to his bed. Mk looked at his brother with excitement in his eyes, while Shihou had a dreadful look fall onto his face.

"No, no, no I know that look" Shihou backed up onto his bed util his back touched the wall, Mk with a kind but unhinged smile slowly creep up and dragged Shihou out if bed.

"AAAUUUHHGGGH" he screams out.

"I got him to get up Pigys!" Mk said, as he drags a fully dressed Shihou down the stairs and into the shop lobby, with a happy face. Pigys watched as Shihou kicked Mk and quickly got up from the floor "Mk! you didn't have to drag me down like that" he shouts at his brother.

"Hey! don't blame me blame Pigys he told me to go get you!" Mk quickly defends himself and points at Pigys in the most dramatic way he could possibly do. "Pigys! I'm hurt I thought you love me" equally doing the same a Mk, but with a single tear drop down from his eye.

"I DONT CARE GET BACK TO WORK" Pigys scream at them waving his utensils at the two boys "Aye, aye sir!" they both yelled with their hands in the air and rushed out the shop into the deliver cart and drive down the street to the city.

the last noodle both boys delivered and quickly headed back to the shop and changed out of their working clothes to some more comfortable attire, they quickly made their way to where Mei was waiting drinking a smoothie while she scrolls on her phone. After realizing the two finally made it, she put her phone in her pocket and ran up to MK with a hug already out ready to attack him with a hug.

"MK glad you could make it" Mei said after letting Mk breath so air into his lungs. she turns her head to Shihou and he smile slightly falls but remains on her faces.

"Shihou glad you could come too, even if I only invited Mk" she said hinting that she clearly did not want him to join Mk and Mei to the arcade, "Well I wasn't going to come but MK here, insisted that I join you two" Shihou replied not really care, but continued to tease Mei.

Mk watching his best friend and brother fighting, defused the fight as quickly he could. "Enough! Mei stop being rude he's my brother, and you stop teasing Mei" Mk pointed at Shihou and Mei.

"Sorry Mk" both of them said feeling childish to get scold by Mk, they both shoot each other with a rude face and put out their hand forward. "Truces" and shake each other hands to seal the deal.

"Now that's down, let's have fun!" Mk said jumping in the air as do Shihou and Mei follow along, "YEAH!" rasing into the arcade and playing many games, they could possibly play.

after they burned out their money and luck, they headed out to get something to snack on before calling it a day.

"To be honesty, it was pretty fun today" Shihou said sipping his drink, before throwing it away. Mei agreed she as well didn't expect it to be this funny hanging with Shihou.

MK smile "Told you so!" happy they both finally agreed on something.

Saying goodbye to Mei the two siblings head back home, talking about all the fun they had.

Right at the reach the shop they saw Pigys waiting out front for them with a stern look. Confusion fell on their faces wondering what could have happened in the past fours they been gone for him to be this angry.

"Pigys what wrong?" Mk said first as they stood outside the shop.

"It's nothing kids, just angry from, some ungrateful customers" Pigys huffs out clearly annoyed by some early on customers.

"What did they do now?" Shihou eagerly asked.

Pigys sighs, his anger leaving. "Its nothing how was you two day out?" He said. "Amazing! We did so much to day" Mk excitedly yelled out. The three walked into the restaurant tell all the fun they did today, Shihou explained that it wasn't that bad being with Mei the whole. Pigys laughs as the two siblings began to bickering to each other. They closed up, turning the lights off and getting ready for bed, so they'll have enough energy for tomorrow.

MK had finally accepted by request on how him joining my family, Wu Kong was so delighted by the fact Mk had said yes, of course he’s still part of Pigsy and Tang family.

But he also chose to be his family too, Sun was so happy he couldn’t wait to tell Guanyin, he was too excited he totally forgot to mention that he has a mother.

It happened such a long time when Guanyin asked him to be his son, he was anxious at first but as time move on, he accepted her request. It took a while to get use to the fact that he now had a mother figure in his family other than the monkeys on the mountain.

But he grown use to her now, and even goes and visit her temple to just relax and talk, he even told her about Mk. So, image his surprised when MK texted him the next day saying that some goddess deity was asking for him and Mk now.
He quickly zipped over to the noodle shop and saw Mk and the rest of the crew just standing there with Guan Yin sitting down eating so of Pigsy noodles.

“Guanyin! What are you doing here?” genuinely surprised to see his mother outside for her temple. “You know, you could have just gone to the mountain if you wanted to talk to me” jumping off his cloud and walking towards her.

“Why I just wanted to see the new addition to the family Sunny” she said putting a hand up to her mouth because of how hot the noodles were. Wukong cringed at the nickname being thrown so causally around the others. He’s pretty sure he heard a gasp from Mk and Mie from the side, while Tang as shocked to see the goddess writing down in his little not book. Pigsy was. Just being Pigsy not sure what was happing.

“New addition?”
“Family?”
Question MK and Mie as they look at each other then back at Wukong. who is surprisingly not as shocked as they thought he’ll be?

“oh”
“pss! Monkey King! Over here!” Sun Wukong turned to see Mk signalling his hand over hiding behind the chairs, until Gunyin looked at him and raised a brow at him, causing Mk to shriek and hid away.

He looked back and at him and Guanyin “Just one moment Guanyin!” he said as the goddess nods at him and waves her hand letting him go.

“What’s wrong?” leading his facing in so that Mk and whisper into his ears.

“Um, do you know her? Like personally, cause don’t you have like a problem with God and Goddess?” he understood why Mk asked him such a question.

“Oh, did I not tell you? Confused he asked.

“Tell me what?” the kid responded back.

“that’s my mother Mk!”

Silence befalls the room. Only the sound of Guanyin finishing her bowl.

“I’m sorry but, WHAT!” Pigsy yelled at the end, with everyone else nodding with him.

“Have I never told anyone about this?”

Wukong was sure he told them or Mk.

“No, no you didn’t!” Yelled Mei angry that the immortal could forget something so important, that no one, not even Mk knew about this.

Guanyin looked over at the scene, Mei Flustered at being caught by the goddess.

“Oh...”

Sun Wukong felt like a fool now, he totally forgot to tell them, he should have known after telling Guan Yin about Mk. Of course, she would show up to meet the kid.

“I’m sorry for not telling anyone” Fully embarrassed for forgetting something so important.

“It’s okay Monkey king!” Mk coming to the rescue.

“I’m sure you just forgot; no harm done” Mk said felling the tension.

“I’m sorry, but have I done something to offend you?”

Guanyin had quietly approached the crew with a frown place on her face, frightening them all but the Monkey king.

“Oh, NO-!”

“We didn’t mean that-“

“Sorry!”

“What we meant was-!”

“uhhhh”

“Listen we did mean- “

Seeing everyone panic the goddess frowned at them increased. Clearly seeing that something was wrong.

“Guan Yin!”

She looked to Sun Wukong.

“Yes Sunny?”

Sunny, in this case looked embarrassed. Did she really have to say that out loud again, too everyone!

Confused, she brought her hands to her sons face and ask him what was wrong.

“Nothing’s wrong!” he huffed out, pouting like a child being caught doing something wrong, or hiding something form her.

This made her even more confused, how can nothing be bothering him, yet here her son stands clearly embarrassed. Just as she was about to ask what was wrong, she was cut off by a voice.

“Um, Miss- err...lady Guanyin!”

It was the boy, the one that she was hoping to speak with. He was stumbling on his words.

“Yes, my child”

She said gracefully truing to Mk. “Is what Monkey king said true?” MK asked. The goddess confusion with such a random question asked what he meant. But was soon cut off by the young girl that was next to the boy.

“uhhh, what he meant was, is it true that you’re the Monkey kings Mother?” Mei finally having the courage to up speak. But still unsure of what was going on.

Guanyin didn’t even have time to answer her before she was cut off again.

“That’s NOT possible, there has not been anything in the book mentioning about Sun Wukong having a mother or that Guan Yin goddess of mercy was his mother!?” Tang the asked confused while he looked through the book and notes. The goddess of mercy laughs that this display, finding them all amusing.

“My sun, you found wonderful and amusing friends I see” Turing her focus back to the monkey. Who was still shocked but relaxed when he saw that everything was going fine.

Seeing his mother laugh made Wukong smile. “Yeah, they are pretty good” pride filled him, happy that his mother seems to be fine with his friends.

“…”

“Wait a minute!” screamed Wukong, turning around as he jabs his finger at the goddess. Who now looked as clam as ever. Suddenly remembering why, he came here in the first place.

“Why are you here?” said the Monkey. Genuinely asking this time.

“Remember when you came over and talked about having new, person part of your troop” Guanyin replied. Wukong nodded, remembering the day he went and visited her just to talk about Mk and other stuff like he usually does. He then looked at Mk then back at her. Still not getting what she meant by that. Until it clicked in his head, like a light bulb.

“You! You knew I didn’t tell them, and just forgot!” Screamed Wukong as he goes red in the face. And covers his face with his hands out of embarrassment. Remembering that back at Guanyin place that she was going to come visit, soon. And he forgot to tell the crew beforehand so that they’ll know.

Guanyin laughs at this, no longer holding in her laugher. Causing the group, I front of them both to stop and watch, finally understanding the misunderstanding. Wu Kong turned even redder from this.
Theirs not way he’s going to live this down, now!

In the end everything turned out fine, they talked it out. Mk got to meet Guanyin and chat to her. Wukong finally came back down from his cloud after the embarrassment flew away from his face.
Everything was going great.
Or so he thought.
Sun Wukong watched from the side.

”……”

“You never told me you had a mother” Macaque said, popping out of his shadow portal.

Wukong jumped at his sudden voice, and fidgets away from him. “How long have you been here?!” he pointed at his old friend. Macaque rolled his eyes at this and just smiled at him, “I been here the whole time? Did you real not notice me here.” He asked.

Still not on good terms with the eared macaque.

“Anyways, when did you even get the goddess of mercy to be your mother anyways?” Macaque said shifting out of his shadows so stand near Wukong. How still looked at him like he was crazy for even stating with him.

Understanding why he’s silence since they don’t really talk anymore. “Look just because we don’t talk to each other does not mean I don’t care about you.” He said looking away, a small blush formed on his cheek, but his read scarf basically hid it form him anyway.

Wukong was shocked, he was for sure that he didn’t care about him. Not since he killed him. Turs out he was completely wrong, his smile grew so big happy that Macaque still cared about their little bond they had back then.

Macaque still hearing that Wukong hadn’t said anything looked back, only to see Wukong with the biggest grin on his face, he tried to turn back but was caught in a hug with the orange haired monkey.

“AWWWW! Who knew that you can be so soft at times like this!” he teases him. Laughing when Macaque turned and pretty shade of red.

Macaque shoved him off and started to walk away with a huff, Wukong at the back following him while trying to apologising.

Redson was in the middle of fixing on of his cars, that he had used earlier that day with the Noodle boy and dragon horse girl, they did a race, and he should have won if not for Noodle boy cheating with the monkey staff. Sending him and his vehicle in the air.

He was almost done with his vehicle when his phone start buzzing on the table, he walked over with a towel around his neck to wipe off all the sweat and greases that was on his face. Looking down he notice it was the dragon horse girl that was texting him. She sent him an image. Taking a sip of his water he had standing on his desk.

Sitting on one of his stools in his workshop and scrolled through his phone until he got too dragons hores girl's contact. He clicked it now really caring until I saw the picture.

Spitting out his water "GUANYIN!?" wiping his face, and bring the phone screen closer he looked at the image. What is the goddess of mercy doing at that noodle boy place?

Remembering when he was forced to be her servant, back then. A notification goes off again. Looking at his phone he saw that he got a text under the picture, eh. Wait a minute- WHAT!.

What did she mean that Guanyin is his uncles mother. Sure him and his uncle haven't been close but his the goddess was his mother. His father was surely know if his brother suddenly got a mother, or had one before.

Still confused and shocked, he walked out of his work shop and headed towards his parents. Knocking on the door to his parents room, he waited until he got permission to enter.

Hearing his mother calling him in, he pushed open the door. "Yes dear, what did you want from us?" His mother sweet voice fills his ears.

He greets them both and then shows his phone up to let them see. "Mother, Father, did uncle- I mean Sun Wukong had a mother before?" Red son said.

The Demon bull king huffs saying that the simian had never had any parent when he met him back when they were still sworn brother. He remembered asking the little ape if he had parents beforehand. Only to be told that he was born from stone and didn't even know what a parent was before he told him.

"Well this says otherwise" he replied, bring his phone up closer so that both his parents could see the image more clearly.

To say they weren't shock was a understatement, both their eyes widen jaw dropped. Not believe what they are seeing.

"This, this can't be!" DBK gasped not believe that the simian had family. Even back then when the both of them was brothers he never hear or been told that the Monkey had a mother.

Princess Iron Fan was still shocked but soon got over it.

"Well... this is quite a shock." She said with a soft smile.

Confused "so you didn't know?" Red son said, snaching his phone back before his mother can look through his phone.

"No"

Huh, Red son thought.

Wukong sneezed, Mk who was sitting beside him looked at him. "You cold Monkey king?" He smiled looking at his mentor.

Wukong being him replied "What! You think me the handsome Monkey king, could possibly get something that only a motal would get?" He bosted, while flexing his arms.

Mk giggled at his mentors actions.

"You know what Monkey King" Mk said looking at his friends. "Today was unexpected, suddenly seeing a Goddess out in the day like this is quite rarely seen." Wukong nodded understanding how today must have been a surprise to the kid.

"Listen, bud-"

Wukong voice died when Mk suddenly hugged him. "I'm so happy that we're a family!" The kid said with his bright smile. Wukong smiled.

"Same" Wukong said.
