Chapter Text

When Naruto found out that his friends wanted to hang out with him after they returned from their travels he was immensely happy.

They had both invited him to have a picnic with them so that they could chat about their journey together.

Both Sasuke and Sakura were dating now. After years of trying to bring Sasuke back from Kohona it finally happened and Sakura was now finally dating her long time crush.

Naruto could tell Sasuke felt the same way when he saw his friends come back to Kohona gates he saw both of them holding hands and just how happy Sasuke was with Sakura.

Naruto had long accepted his friend’s romantic relationship. A deep part of him also felt a little sad that he was left out but he would be able to manage it.

Currently Naruto was getting ready to go see his friends for the picnic. They each decided to wear their casual clothes and bring a snack, meal or drinks to their picnic.

Naruto wore his black shirt with the collar being orange, his orange sweater, and his black leggings with an orange line down the side of his calf.

For the picnic he decided to bring three cans of soda and three sandwiches and chips.

Sakura had told him not to overdo it so he hopes this is sufficient enough.

He checked the time and saw that he had 30 minutes to arrive. Sasuke had said to be there by 4:00 and it was now 3:30. They had planned to have a picnic near the cherry blossom trees where they would lie down during their break time during their genin years.

‘Shoot! I should get going now!’ he thought panicky and grabbed the basket and ran straight to his destination.

Sakura and Sasuke had arrived at the cherry blossom trees as they set down the red and white checkered mat on the lush green grass.

Sakura had carefully placed the food on the mat, she and Sasuke both brought some Takoyaki, chips, fruit, and juice boxes with some sodas. She made sure the placement looked precise. Everything had to be perfect for Naruto when he arrived.

She glanced over at Sasuke. Despite how stoic and blank his face was, Sakura could see the underlying panic he was feeling right now.

To say he was nervous was an understatement because the man was practically pacing around the home trying to make sure they had everything they needed for Naruto before they left. He even contemplated making ramen for Naruto in case the food they brought was not to his taste.

Sakura couldn’t help but admire it. She loved how deeply Sasuke cared for Naruto and she felt the same too. She was particularly worried about what she should wear to their picnic but when Sasuke assured her she would look beautiful no matter what she wore it completely washed away all of Sakura’s insecurities.

In the end she wore her full sleeved lime green shirt with her white jeans, her red headband and a pair of salmon pink sandals Sasuke wore an elbow length black shirt with black jeans with a black watch on his remaining wrist and black shoes.

She went on over to her boyfriend and hugged him from behind. Feeling her slender arms wrapped around him caused Sasuke to relax immediately as he relished the warmth surrounding her body.

“Relax Sasuke-kun. Everything will go according to plan” she murmured softly as she placed a soft kiss on the man’s nape.

“You’re right. I’m overthinking this, I just want everything to be perfect” sighed Sasuke, “What if he rejects us?”

Sakura couldn’t help but feel saddened by Sasuke’s question. To be rejected by Naruto would be very devastating, the man was nothing but kind and pure and brightened up both hers and Sasuke’s life despite how bitchy they were to him.

“I hope not, but if he does we have to respect his choice you know?” replied Sakura, they both were silent as both of them just stood there in the open.

Sasuke then spoke in a quiet voice and turned around to face his girlfriend, “I really hope he doesn’t reject us, but you’re right we won’t force him to love us.”

Sakura nodded, “That’s right. But don’t jump to conclusions, we haven’t confessed to him yet”

Sasuke let out a soft chuckle, “You’re right. I just hope things will work out in the end because even if he does reject us we can still be friends with him right?”

Sakura smiles and takes Sasuke hand in her own and places her other one on his shoulder gazing at his onyx eyes, “Of course and we will support him no matter what”

Then slowly but carefully they lean in to give each other a deep, slow, passionate kiss. Their lips moving against each other, Sasuke slips his tongue in to caress Sakura’s as he and Sakura both let out a moan.

Sakura’s cheeks were burning from their make out session. She was so caught up on the moment that she didn’t notice that Sasuke had his leg in between her legs where her crotch was.

Soon, the both had ended their make out session as they leaned their forehead against each other’s and gazed in each other’s eyes trying to maintain their breath. Both of them were blushing hard and panting like they had just ran a marathon.

That was until eventually a familiar shy voice had both of them brought back to the world, “H-Hey g-guys…!”

Both Sakura and Sasuke felt their blood run cold as they slowly turned around to see their familiar blonde haired friend who was blushing with his head turned away and rubbing his neck awkwardly while holding his picnic basket.

‘D-Did he see…!” she thought embarrassingly. To say Sakura was embarrassed was an understatement, she wanted to curl up into a ball and DIE!

She couldn’t see Sasuke’s expression but she could tell that the ravenette felt the same.

Finally what felt like years, Sasuke took the initiative to break the ice and stuttered, “How…long were you standing there usuratonkachi?”

Sakura couldn’t bear to look at the other man so she just stared at the ground in shame.

“I-If I’m being honest, the moment you two started to make out.” he smiled sheepishly making Sakura want to die even more out of embarrassment!!

This wasn’t how their picnic date was supposed to go!!

However, they couldn’t give up! They could still salvage this embarrassing moment and still have their picnic date.

It seemed like Sasuke had the same idea too because he then said, “Sorry about that we got distracted but let’s not waste anymore time and have our picnic, alright?”

She then looked up at Naruto with hope in her eyes who just smiled and nodded, “Of course! I didn’t come all this way for nothing!”

Sakura and Sasuke both sighed in relief and then watched Naruto scurry to the mat and sat down and motioned them to come over.

“Come on! Tell me all about your trip!” he chirped happily as he started taking out the snacks he brought to their date.

Sakura smiled at Sasuke who smiled back as he nodded and both went over to Naruto.

Step 1 of their plan had been completed and now, they were moving on to Step 2!!

Chapter Text

Naruto took a bite of the Taiyaki and let out a pleased hum when savouring the taste.

“It tastes delicious!” exclaimed Naruto as he took another bite of the Taiyaki, “Sakura-chan, did you cook this?”

Sakura let out a giggle, “Actually, Sasuke-kun was the one who made it”

Naruto’s eyes widened slightly and his gaze went to Sasuke who immediately held the blondes gaze

“Teme! You made this?? I didn’t know you could cook!” gaped Naruto as Sasuke scowled, “Of course I know how to cook dobe. It isn’t hard”

“Still, this taste really good, thank you!” he grinned as he finished the rest of his Taiyaki and grabbed a soda

“It’s no problem usuratonkachi” mumbled Sasuke as he turned away with a slight blush in his face munching on a chip.

Sakura gave him a knowing look causing Sasuke to blush even harder. If only his skin wasn’t so pale it wouldn’t have been so blatantly obvious how much he was blushing right now. Thank Kami Naruto didn’t notice it.

“Anyways, Naruto, are you enjoying yourself?” asked Sakura as she took a bite of Naruto’s sandwich while drinking a can of soda.

“Yeah! I’m having loads of fun right now because you guys are here with me!” Naruto smiled so brightly that it nearly blinded Sakura and Sasuke.

Naruto’s words didn’t help as it just caused them both to blush at his sincere words. His sincerity was one of the reasons why they fell in love with him in the first place.

Sakura quickly regained her composure and spoke measurably, “That’s great! And the food?”

“Like I said, it’s delicious!” he said, “Sasuke, you should cook some more Taiyaki for me in the future. They might be my new favourite food!”

Sakura let out an amused huff, “As if! You love ramen too much to replace it with Taiyaki

Naruto pouted, “Ne, Sakura-chan. Quit picking on me, Taiyaki can be my third favourite food after ramen and red bean soup!”

Sakura rolled her eyes playfully, ”Sure sure Naruto, whatever you say”

Sasuke let out a laugh at their bantering, “Sure dobe I’ll make you more Taiyaki. Anything else?”

“Nope! But what I really want is for you guys to tell me about your trip!” reminded Naruto, “Come on! That’s why you guys invited me here, right?”

Sakura and Sasuke shared a glance and with their silent communication they nodded and turned to Naruto who was looking at them with a confused look on his face.

‘Are they having a telepathic conversation?’ He wondered

This time, Sasuke was the one who spoke up, “Of course. But before we do that there is something we both need to tell you Naruto”

Sasuke said it in such a serious voice that Naruto almost felt like something bad was going to happen.

Sakura seemed to sense this and put her hand on his shoulder and reassured, “Don’t worry. It’s nothing bad it’s something good”

“Something…we hope you accept” she said in a quiet voice it almost shook Naruto

‘What is happening? Why are Sasuke and Sakura-chan acting a little weird?’ Naruto pondered

Then Sasuke and Sakura both came a little bit closer to Naruto and each of them held his hands and looked at him, Sakura had a soft smile on her face and her cheeks were flushed, Sasuke was also smiling and also had a noticeable blush on his cheeks too.

Naruto could feel his own cheeks flushed red too. What was happening??

“G-Guys, wha-“ he was cut off when Sakura and Sasuke both suddenly said, “We are in love with you Naruto”

It took three seconds for Naruto to register those words in his eyes. The blush on his cheeks increased and now his entire face was on fire. His heart was pounding madly in his chest and he could feel his entire world going in circles by Sakura and Sasuke’s sudden love confession.

‘S-Sakura-chan and S-Sasuke a-are in love with m-me?!” Naruto thought madly still in shock by their sudden confession.

“Y-You guys are i-in love with m-me?” Naruto asks weakly as their hands tighten around his.

Sasuke nodded determinedly, “Yes Naruto. Both me and Sakura are in love with you and have been for a long time now”

Sakura also nodded and chirped, “It’s true Naru. We’re not lying and this isn’t a prank. We truly are in love with you”

Naruto couldn't believe this. Sasuke and Sakura were both confessing their love for him! But at the same time…aren’t they together? They are dating so how can they love Naruto when they are both dating each other??

“B-But, what about you two?? You two are in love with each other so how can you also be in love with me??” Naruto pointed out

Then Sasuke said, “Of course we are still in love usuratonkachi but we are also in love with you”

“Over our trip, we both talked a lot about you and how much we loved you. We acknowledged our feelings for each other but also realized that we also love you because you make us feel complete” Sakura beamed and Naruto could tell both were being genuine.

“Y-You guys…you-really l-love me…?” stuttered Naruto as he felt tears in the corner of his eyes threatening to burst

“Every single word honey” Sakura said lovingly and both her and Sasuke pulled him in for a hug which was the finality for Naruto as he began crying.

Sasuke pulled away to inspect the Uzumaki and frowned at his crying, “Don’t cry Naruto…”

“Th-These are h-happy tears t-teme…!” sobbed Naruto as he clung onto his lovers who happily embraced him and ushering sweet words to soothe him.

Until Sakura gently grabbed Naruto’s jaw and planted a kiss on his lips causing Naruto’s eyes to widen but happily accepted the kiss.

They broke apart and then Sasuke gently grabbed Naruto’s face and kissed him there too and Baruto wasted no time and reciprocated the kiss.

Naruto then watched as his lovers kissed each other with passion and tender love like they did to him.

They broke apart and pulled Naruto into them and Sasuke whispered, “Your ours now Naruto”

Sakura whispered, “That’s right, ours forever”

“Yes I’m your and you're mine” Naruto babbled

“I love you guys too”

Chapter Text

“So…does this mean you guys are now my boyfriend and girlfriend?” Naruto asked grinning from ear to ear

Sasuke rolled his eyes in exasperation, “What do you think idiot?”

Sakura giggled, “Kind of a stupid question to ask Naruto considering we poured our heart and kissed you just now”

“Haha, you're right, sorry” he rubbed his head and laughed awkwardly.

“So what now?” he asked, Sasuke replied, “We go back to my place”

Sakura nodded and Naruto looked surprised, “Huh, really? But I don’t have my stuff!”

“You can stay overnight and wear my pajamas. Then me and Sakura can both go over to your apartment and help you pack your stuff and you move in with us” declared Sasuke, leaving Naruto speechless.

“R-Really? You two want me to move in with you??” he asked, not believing Sasuke’s words.

“Of course baby” answers Sakura. Naruto almost chokes when he hears her calling him “baby”. It was so SWEET!

Naruto rushes over to hug them both causing them to let out a “Oof!” at Naruto’s sudden hug,”I’d love to move in with you guys!”

Sakura hugs him back with a huge smile and Sasuke sighs as the three of them stand there.

“Oh! That reminds me, Naruto, do you need to tell Iruka-sensei you’ll be with us?” asks Sakura as they reach the Uchiha compound.

“It’s alright, he doesn’t check up on me too often because I’m an adult now so we don’t need to worry” Naruto casually replies.

“That’s good” hummed Sasuke as he clicked the key in the lock and opened up the door and the three of them went inside.

Naruto gazes at the inside and it was just what he had expected from a rich man like Sasuke. The inside was fancy but not too fancy but it had a lot of space and had a luxurious smell to it, a smell Naruto reveled in.

“Amazing isn’t it?” asked Sakura with a smile as she stands next to him, “I had the same reaction too when I first walked in”

Naruto hummed in agreement, suddenly, Sasuke’s voice broke through their minds, “Come on you two, come upstairs, you’ll like the bedrooms better”

“Right! Let's go Naruto!” Sakura grabs the Uzumaki’s hand and drags him along with Sasuke to go upstairs.

“Whoa! Slow down Sakura-chan!” Naruto let’s out a scared squeak while Sasuke lets out a hiss, “What Naruto said, you will rip our arms off if you keep dragging us like this!”

Sakura stops and lets go of their arms as they reach the bedroom and she lets out an embarrassed chuckle, “Sorry boys, I won’t do that again”

“It’s alright Sakura-chan” Naruto rubs his arm where Sakura gripped it feeling a familiar sting from how tight she was gripping him and saw Sasuke shaking his remaining arm slightly also feeling the same sting as Naruto.

“Come” says Sasuke as he opens the door to introduce their shared bedroom. It consisted of a large queen size bedroom big enough for the three of them with a large ruby red blanket and white fluffy pillows and a white bed sheets. There was a rich chocolate brown stand with a large mirror and one bathroom and one closet.

“Wow Sasuke! This looks great!” Naruto stared in awe at the bedroom. Sakura, having already seen the bedroom, just smiled fondly at Naruto’s happy face. She couldn’t help but compare it to a child’s face, it helps considering. Naruto possessed a childish behaviour.

Sasuke’s lips quirked upward, clearly pleased by Naruto’s positive reaction and response, “Good. Because from now on this will be our bedroom when you move in”

Naruto quipped, “I can’t wait to move in with you guys! This will be a blast!”

Sakura let out a laugh, “Indeed, now let’s rest. I’m exhausted”

The three of them walked in and began getting ready for bed. Sakura went to the bathroom first with her pink pajamas while Sasuke rummaged through the closet to give Naruto one of his pajamas. Despite his broad exterior compared Sasuke’s slender yet buff appearance they both were almost the same height so Sasuke’s pajamas actually fit him quite nicely.

Sasuke couldn’t help but notice how tight his shirt was on Naruto, he could practically see the man’s abs and pecs peeking through the thin fabric and good lord his arms were just so beefy. It was hard to believe that this was the same Naruto who was small and scrawny who had now transformed into a completely different person.

“Is something wrong Sasuke?” Naruto’s voice breaks through his internal bi panic attack and shook his head fervently, “Everything is alright”

Sasuke’s cheeks were a little flushed and just before Naruto could say anything else Sakura came out, “Alright boys! The bathroom is all yours now!”

“Hey Sakura-chan look! How do I look in teme’s pajamas?” Naruto asked idly. Sakura paused and took a few seconds to analyze Naruto’s shirt before her face grew hot and her pupils dilated.

Sasuke stared at her with sympathy, having the same reaction just like she did just now and nodded with her who nodded back.

Naruto was dumbfounded, first Sasuke and now Sakura?? Did he look bad in this attire? If that’s the case why don’t they just say it?

Not to mention their telepathic communication was starting to get on his nerves.

Sakura finally spoke in a quiet voice, “Y-You look hot Naruto”

This statement caused Naruto to blush, he now understood why both of his lovers were being weird, “O-Oh! Th-Thanks Sakura-chan!”

Sasuke gulped decided to finally end this awkward moment, “Come on usuratonkachi, let’s go brush and sleep”

“R-Right!” mumbled Naruto as he followed Sasuke into the bathroom.

“Sasuke-kun should really have Naruto wear his clothes more often” Sakura thought feverently

That night, Naruto slept in the middle with his now boyfriend and girlfriend sleeping on him either side cuddling and snuggling with him as he slowly dozed off with a relaxed smile plastered on his face.

“Phew! We’re finally done!” Naruto panted as he collapsed on the bed closing his eyes to catch his breath

“That’s right, now you are officially living here with us” stated Sasuke as she laid next to Naruto. Sakura did the exact same thing.

“I’m exhausted” moaned Sakura and Naruto nodded in agreement causing Sasuke to roll his eyes at the both of them, “You two are already tired from unpacking?”

“Oi! We’ve been doing this all day bastard! Naruto snarked at his boyfriend, “Of course we are going to be tired!”

“Yeah Sasuke-kun, don’t you feel tired too?” asked Sakura, Sasuke replied, “I don’t get tired as quickly as you two do”

“Especially when one of us has unlimited stamina” he added which was obviously a jab towards Naruto who scrunched up his face and sneered, “I don’t have unlimited stamina alright?? I have a lot but even I can still get tired ya know!”

Sakura sighed and spoke exasperatedly, “Quit acting like children alright? Seriously, you two are 19 years old practically grown men, so act like it”

“Sorry” both the men said and for a minute there was nothing but silence as they all decided to rest after unloading all of Naruto’s belongings. They helped him pack all of his belongings and then helped him unpack all of them which took almost a month and a half and now they were all finally done.

“By the way Naruto there is something both me and Sasuke-kun wanted to ask you” Sakura said turning to her blonde boyfriend prompting Sasuke to do the same.

“What is it?” Naruto asked curiously turning his head to the pinkette

“It been a month and a half even since we all officially became a polyamorous couple and me and Sasuke-kun both wanted to know if you want to keep this relationship a secret” Sakura explained

“That’s right” Sasuke spoke and Naruto turned his head to him, “We all know that relationships like these are rare and most likely unwelcomed due to clan rules and while I don’t mind out relationship to be in the open I know that we need to think this through because these kind of relationships are considered “abnormal”

“Not only that but then that means that only me and Sasuke-kun can only be together because everyone else knows we are dating” Sakura explained looking gloomy

“It’s true, which means you can’t do couple acts with us…”

Sasuke said it very distastefully clearly hating having to hide his relationship just because others wouldn’t approve of it and Naruto couldn’t help but feel the sentiment but he also knew what both Sasuke and Sakura said was correct.

He doesn’t know anyone who has a poly relationship like he does and even he doesn’t mind considering he was a rebel from a young age this was hardly anything special.

He turned his head back to his girlfriend, “What about you Sakura-chan? Are you ok?”

Sakura smiled a little weary, “Of course I’m not happy but Sasuke-kun has a point and perhaps for now it’s best to keep a low profile. What do you guys think?”

Naruto turned to Sasuke and they both shared a internal conversation and nodded and turned back to Sakura, “Let’s keep it a secret for now”

Sasuke nodded and Sakura said, “Ok. That means we will have to be very careful when out in public and no telling anyone else, no friends, not even Kakashi-sensei”

“Not even Iruka-sensei too!” whined Naruto, Sakura nodded

“Fine! But you two have to make it up to me with cuddles and kisses whenever we are alone!” pouted Naruto

“Don’t pout usuratonkachi we will” assured Sasuke as he patted the blonde’s arm to comfort him. He didn’t blame his reaction as he too shared the same sentiment and he knew Sakura did too.

“And I am most definitely not telling my parents” Sakura said in a rough tone

Naruto noticed and frowned, “Sakura-chan, are you parents perhaps…”

“LGTBQ-phobic? Yup” quipped Sakura finishing Naruto’s sentence with ease as she stretched her limbs out

Naruto rolled his eyes and groaned “Not too surprised considering how…well…rude your parents can be”

“Are they really that bad?” asked Sasuke arching a brow, unlike Naruto he never met Sakura’s parents since he had left the village.

Sakura sighed, “I love them and I know they love me and want what’s best for met but yeah, they are kinda jerks sometimes”

Sasuke knitted his eyebrows together and huffed, “Well one day they will have to accept our relationship whether they like it or not”

“We can worry about that some other time because right now, I’m hungry and I could eat a cow right about now!” Sakura groaned as she rubbed her growling stomache.

“On it” Sasuke got up and the two of them scurried after him.

Chapter Text

Today Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke all decided to go and hang out together with their friends. With everything that was going on they had barely any time to spend with their friends so Sakura decided to make plans with them and now the three of them were all getting ready to go out.

“Do we have to go?” Sasuke asked that was almost akin to a whine

Sakura snorts, “Yes! We’ve been cooped up in this mansion for days, we need to get out there and be proactive.”

“He’s anti-social Sakura-chan! Cut him some slack” Naruto teases and Sasuke narrows his eyes at him and scowls, “Shut it dobe!”

“No fighting!” says Sakura, she swears she feels like she’s dating two manchildren sometimes.

They head out and go straight to the centre of the Leaf Village. Occasionally they had to stop a few times because of Naruto’s fangirls who would gush over him and tried to give him gifts and ignoring both Sakura and Sasuke in the process much to their annoyance.

They practically had to drag their blond-haired boyfriend away from them because the women wouldn’t take no for an answer but also because Naruto wasn’t able to shoo them away on his own!

“So annoying” grumbled Sasuke and Sakura made a noise of agreement

“Don’t be jealous guys, it's alright! It means nothing!” Naruto tries to reassure his partners but they weren’t having it

“It means nothing my ass! They are practically trying to get in your pants!” hisses Sakura but her anger wasn’t directed towards Naruto.

“S-Sakura-chan!” gasps Naruto shocked by his girlfriend’s choice of words

“At Least we got away from them! That’ll teach them from trying to steal what’s ours!” Sasuke mutters as he and Sakura both have a firm but gentle grip on Naruto’s wrists dragging him away from the fangirls despite being out of eyeshot.

They had finally reached their destination to see their friends waiting for them Hinata, Ino, Choji, Tenten, Shikamaru, Gaara, Kankuro, and even Temari. Ino was the first to notice and waved at them happily, “Hey guys! You made it!”

Sakura smiles and goes over to greet her best friend, “Of course! I wouldn’t miss this hangout for the world!”

Kiba then spoke up, “Naruto, Sasuke, good to see you both!”

“Hey Kiba! And everyone else! Glad to be here, hope we aren’t too late!” he says as some of his friends wave at him

“Nope! You guys are just in time!” exclaims Ino as she claps her hands together, “We were all just discussing where we should go to hangout!”

“Have you decided?” asks Sasuke

“Yup! A restaurant, afterall, it’s getting late so we might as well go hangout in a restaurant to go eat but also catch up!” Ino explains

“That sounds like a great idea Ino! Which restaurant are we heading to?” ponders Sakura, Ino says, “We haven’t decided yet!”

“We thought it would be best if we waited for you guys to show up so that we could all decide together!” Tenten explains idly as she leans over

“So any ideas?” Ino motions to Team 7 waiting for their suggestions. Naruto attempts to make a suggestion but is sharply cut off by Ino, “No Ichiraku Naruto!”

Naruto immediately droops down, so instead Sakura speaks up, “Why not the new all you can eat buffet place, ?”

“Ooh! Yes! We should go there! Can we??” Choji asks excitedly, as someone who is a HUGE meat lover he was all up for it and waited for Ino to comply staring eagerly at her as well as everyone else

“I think that’s a good idea! How about it everyone?” Ino asks for their permission and everyone’s answer was the same.

“Sure!”

“Yeah! Let’s go!”

“Sounds like a plan!”

“I’m down!”

“Alright! What are we waiting for?”

“Hn”

“Alright! It's been decided then! Let’s go before the seats are all taken!” Ino states and soon they all got up heading over to the meat place.

Everyone sat near a large table as they all were devouring their food like animals, especially Choji. All of them were talking about recent missions, their families, and anything else that was going on with their life.

It all went well until Kiba asked, “Hey Naruto, don’t you feel tired being a third wheel?”

Everyone stopped talking and turned around to eye Kiba and then Naruto who looked surprised by the sudden question, “Huh? What are you talking about Kiba?”

“We all know that Sakura and Sasuke are dating and that you like to hang out with them from time to time but doesn’t that annoy you having to be their third wheel?” Kiba asked pointedly causing Naruto to sweat a little.

Naruto knew he was going to have to lie in order to hide his secret relationship with Sasuke and Sakura so he spoke measurably, “Nah, nothing has really changed since they started dating”

“Really?”

“Yup!”

“ Kiba, why are you asking this in the first place?” Sakura asked curiously

Temari let out an indignant laugh, “Don’t be ridiculous Kiba! Why would Naruto feel jealous!”

“Hey! Why are you laughing my question isn’t funny!” Kiba flushed and pouted

“It kinda is” snickered Kankuro, Sakura let out a huge sigh, “All of you shut up already and eat!”

“Somebody is getting fiesty” Sai commented with one of his smiles, Sakura rolled her eyes and muttered, “Yeah yeah shut up!”

“So annoying…” Naruto heard Sasuke mumble and Naruto could only blink.

Things between the three of them have been going very smoothly. Their relationship has gotten much stronger than before and they will engage in couple activities such as cuddling, kissing, hugging, and calling each other pet names.

Naruto was surprised just how sweet and loving Sakura and Sasuke had become ever since they all got together. The two wouldn’t hesitate to shower affection on Naruto when they got the chance.

Sakura didn’t hit him as much as she used to and this helps since Naruto wasn’t prone to doing anything idiotic that would piss her off. That doesn’t mean she wasn’t above doing so, because every now and then she would hit him if he did anything to piss her off. But otherwise the pinkette was very sweet towards him, she would feed him, cuddle up against him, and share her food with him when she was too full. She also became very clingy and needy to him and wouldn’t hesitate to feel him up, leaving the Uzumaki blushing.

Sasuke hadn’t changed his behaviour too much like Sakura. He would still call Naruto “dobe” or “usuratonkachi” because he was a jerk but also because he says it with more out of endearment rather than an insult. But just like Sakura, Sasuke was very clingy and needy towards the blonde and liked to touch him and press his entire body against him until Naruto was a blushing mess. Naruto also learned that Sasuke had a secret perverted side that was only presented towards him or Sakura, a side Naruto wasn’t used to.

They had been dating for three months now and so far nobody seemed to know that they were together. There was also one thing that the three of them hadn’t done since they began dating, and that was being…

Yup, believe it or not Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura have not done it yet. After all, they were still getting used to being in a polyamorous relationship so being intimate was going to be a bit of a challenge as it usually requires only two people doing it, not three. Then another time, Sasuke and him were watching a movie together while Sakura was working at the hospital. Since Tsunade had stepped down she left all her medical work to her protege and obviously Sakura wasn’t a quitter and happily accepted the work and began working at the hospital often to heal and train new medic nin.

Back to Sasuke, the two of them decided to watch a movie while Sakura was out to work. They picked a movie that involved a lot of action and one of Naruto’s favourite movies if he may add. The first hour of the movie was great and he and Sasuke were huddled up together but then, similar to Sakura, Sasuke’s hand began drifting a little. And it wasn’t just his hand either, the Uchiha slowly moved his body over Naruto’s and Naruto just let it happen. How could he resist his smoking hot boyfriend to dominate him like that? He completely understood what Sakura saw in him.

Sasuke was completely towering over him and then softly pressed his lips onto the blonde’s and Naruto closed his eyes completely surrendering to Sasuke’s whims and the movie was still going on but was completely forgotten. They both moved their lips against each other and soon their tongues were involved and were in each other’s mouths dancing against each other like they were in a dirty tango. Naruto could feel his entire face and body growing hot by Sasuke’s ministration and nearly succumbed to him fully until he felt Sasuke pressing his crotch against his.

In the end they turned off the t.v and decided to call it a night and at some point Sakura came and cuddled with them. So basically Naruto was in a dilemma and didn’t know what to do. He wanted to be intimate with his lovers but he was too shy to initiate or let any of them have their way with him. He knows that his partners would never force him to anything uncomfortable and them respecting Naruto’s wishes to not have sex proved to Naruto that they truly did care about his well-being.

But he didn’t know how to approach this topic just yet and honestly he didn’t want to ruin what they already have just because of his insecurities so he ended up forgetting about it completely until one day this happened…

Today, the three had a day off so they took this time to spend time together. They ate breakfast together that consisted of congee, eggs, juice, and bacon made by Sasuke himself. and decided to go out to get groceries. It took them 2 hours in total to get their groceries and then sort them out in the fridge. Then Sakura and Sasuke both made hamburgers with a salad while Naruto helped set up the table since he was unable to help them cook.

After that they all decided to cuddle together and watch a show together while they were underneath their blanket eating popcorn and occasionally they would feed each other. At some point Sasuke and Naruto both started fighting about who would feed Sakura who eventually got fed up with their arguing and rapped both of their heads with her fists and threatened to kick them out of the house if they wouldn’t shut up so they did.

It was almost evening and neither of them were hungry yet so they decided to hold off dinner and go upstairs to their bedroom. For some reason Naruto couldn’t shake that something serious will occur but he tried to ignore his gut and went along with his partners upstairs. They all decided to lie on their bed together to cuddle and this time Naruto was in the middle, everything was sweet and domestic until he felt someone trailing their hand on his thigh and he immediately jolted under the tickling sensation.

He immediately knew it was Sasuke’s due to how rough they were and Naruto let out a shaky breath, “S-Sasuke, h-hey—AH!”

Naruto let out a moan when he felt Sakura’s lips pressed against his neck and slowly began sucking on the tanned neck, “S-Sakura-ch-chan—NGH!”

He was still a virgin and as much as he wanted to do this with his boyfriend and girlfriend he just couldn't let them have their way with them yet so out of panic he shouted, “STOP!”

That did the trick, immediately Sakura and Sasuke stopped groping Naruto and then it was silent that Naruto immediately felt like he had messed up. He didn’t mean to shout like that. He wasn't angry but nervous and then out of impulse he shouted and now he felt dread pooling within him. What has he done? Did he hurt his partner's feelings? Did he mess up?

Finally Sakura spoke softly, “Naruto? Are you alright?”

Then Sasuke said, “Naruto, are you alright?”

Naruto immediately answered back, “I-I’m sorry I just-“

“Honey, you’re crying” Sakura commented but was laced with concern as her face was filled with nothing but worry. Naruto then felt his face being wet and he was indeed crying like Sakura said he was. Why?? Why was he crying??

“Dobe, please don’t cry, we’re sorry” Sasuke apologized softly as he used his thumb to wipe Naruto’s tears and Sakura did the exact same.

Naruto shuddered and spoke shakily, “I-I’m sorry I-“ he paused for a second and then continued, “I-I don't know why I’m crying I was just-“

“Overwhelmed?” asked Sasuke and Naruto nodded and felt Sakura hug him, “We’re sorry Naru, we shouldn’t have forced ourselves on you like that”

Naruto was about to speak but Sasuke cut him off, “We were so excited to finally do this with you but we got too caught up and didn’t consider your feelings and ended up hurting you in the process. We should’ve asked if you were ok with this before we did that, we’re sorry dobe.”

Sasuke and Sakura both spoke with such sincerity that Naruto couldn’t help but cry a little harder distressing both of his partners who did their best in calming down their boyfriend.

“I-It’s ok I just do-don’t know how to do this. I-I’m a virgin and have never done this with anyone before and I just couldn’t help but get nervous when it comes up!” Naruto explains.

“B-But that doesn’t mean I don’t want to do it I-I just don’t know how with the three of us y-y’know…?” Naruto asks and Sasuke kisses him on the cheek and says, “We understand what you are trying to say, perhaps we should’ve talked about this instead of doing this Sakura”

Sakura nodded, “You’re right Sasuke-Kun, we took it too far.”

Naruto blinked, “Did you guys plan this?”

“We’re very sorry” they both apologized at the exact same time startling Naruto.

They both looked very guilty and apologetic and were looking at Naruto with those damned puppy eyes so how can Naruto be angry at them? They clearly had no bad intentions , it’s just that their plan was miscalculated. Sasuke then said, “Let’s talk about this tomorrow morning. It’s getting late and we still need to make dinner”

“Good plan Sasuke-Kun. Is that alright Naruto?”

Naruto shook his head and both his partners hauled him to his feet and held their hands as they went off to prepare dinner. Later they all went to bed cuddling Naruto, whispering apologies and words of comfort as they drifted off to sleep.

After what happened last night Team 7 had decided to lay out some ground rules. They discussed their insecurities, how they felt about sex, and what kinks they were interested in. Naruto learned that his partners had done it a few times while they were travelling and between the two of them Sasuke was surprisingly the pervert.

Naruto wasn’t too surprised considering Sasuke would grope him and Sakura when they were in their home. Either way, they discussed how they would do this and they all planned to do this at night around 8:00 p.m. Naruto was very nervous and made sure he was ready for his lovers before their big event. Perhaps he was TOO focused because he had blanked out a few times when Kakashi was going over the stuff he would need to remember when he became Hokage. And he remembered walking back home and accidentally walked into a tree when he was imagining how his night would go with Sakura and Sasuke.

Naruto nodded but wasn’t enough for Sasuke, “Yes or no babe, use your words”

“Y-Yes”

“Yes, what?”

“Yes I-I’m ready!” confirmed Naruto and his two partners let out a gleeful smile and shred a loom with each other before they got to work.

“Sakura got under him on all fours” ordered Sasuke and Sakura immediately did what she said and Naruto was now connected to her back, “S-Sakura-chan, shouldn’t we prepare you?”

“Sasuke-kun did it earlier” she winked at him and Naruto’s face flared when he understood the implication and looked back to see Sasuke to get a confirmation and the bastard just grinned. Holy shit!

“Just thought it would be best not to overwhelm you that’s all” replied Sasuke and Naruto quickly said, “Next time I want to do it!”

Silence and then a giggle was heard from Sakura who said, “Of course love, I look forward to it, but for now enjoy this!”

“Line yourself up Naruto” instructed Sasuke and Naruto did so, he grabbed a part of the pinkette and saw how much she glistened from the lube, she really wasn’t lying and Narutto had to keep himself from drooling.

“Mother, I’m here!” called out Sakura as she closed the door and locked it with her key. “I’m coming honey! Just wait a minute!” Sakura’s mother, Mebuki Haruno yelled so Sakura trudged into the living room and sat down waiting for her mother to come downstairs to greet her.

“I’m here Sakura! Come here!” Mebuki said as she pulled her daughter in for a hug something Sakura reciprocated for a minute until they broke apart.

They both sat down as Mebuki had handed Sakura a cup of green tea and spoke, “So honey, how have things been with you these days?”

“Oh wonderful mother! As you know I’ve been head of the hospital for sometime now and I’ve been training the new medic ninjas!” exclaimed Sakura as she took a large sip of her tea. “Oh that’s wonderful honey! Gosh, I am just so proud of you!” Mebuki sighed happily as she softly pinched Sakura’s cheeks causing Sakura to whine, “Mooom…stop!”

“Sorry sorry, I can’t help it!” Mebuki let out a laugh and drank her tea and so did Sakura. “Now, tell me about your new home and new roommates”

This startled Sakura as she looked at her mother with some surprise, “You mean Naruto and Sasuke-kun?”

Mebuki nodded and huffed, “Of course! It’s been six months since you’ve been living with them and I want to know how it’s been! You hardly talk to us and as your mother I deserve to know!”

Sakura laughed nervously because her mother was t wrong it has been quite some time since she talked to her parents but it’s mostly due to her new job as the head of the hospital and training the new medic ninjas was a must as many had lost their lives during the war so it was crucial for Sakura to focus on them!

Not only that but her mother asking her about Naruto and Sasuke made her nervous due to the fact she hasn’t told any of her parents about their new relationship. She wasn’t ready to tell them and they weren’t ready to be introduced to her polyamorous relationship with her boys so for now she was laying it low.

“Everything has been going wonderful mother! Sasuke-kun and Naruto are very sweet friends and take good care of me!” Sakura explained to Mebuki with a happy smile, her mother raised her chin and said grimly, “Good! They better be after everything they have put you through! Especially that Uchiha boy, I still can’t believe they let him free after everything he has done to Kohona! Unbelievable!”

Sakura frowned at her mothers choice of words and spoke, “Mother, I’d appreciate it if you don’t talk about Sasuke-kun and Naruto like that please”. Mebuki sighed, “Fine! But honey, if any of them, especially that Sasuke If he tries to hurt you in any way, promise me you will come to me and your father and break any contact with him!”

Sakura was a little bit shocked by her mother’s words but couldn’t be angry at her. This is exactly why she hasn’t told her or her father, Kiashi, about her dating them. But despite that Sakura couldn’t be angry at her mother. She knows her mother was worried about her and was scared of her daughter getting hurt again by Sasuke so she nodded, “Of course mother! I promise”

“Good!” And then she sipped the remaining tea and placed the cup down on the table and Sakura did the same and the two began eating some chocolate chip cookies that were laid in front of them in a small china plate.

“By the way honey, do you plan on getting a boyfriend any time soon?” Mebuki asked all of a sudden, almost causing Sakura to choke on a piece of her cookie. She began having flashes of Naruto and Sasuke in her head when her mother mentioned “boyfriend”. Sakura yelled, flustered “M-Mom! I don't have time for romance right now!”

Mebuki raised an eyebrow, “Really? But I remember back then you were so obsessed with finding a man and even asked me for some love advice while you were at it!” Sakura blushed at the memory, goodness was she really that boy crazy??

“I-I was young b-back then and didn’t know any better! But yes, I-I’m not looking for a boyfriend right now” Sakura stuttered as she weakly crunched on her cookie as more thoughts of her boyfriends flooded her brain. “Plus, I still need to focus on healing those who have been injured from the war and train more medic ninjas! Romance can come after that!” she explained, causing Mebuki to wink at Sakura, “Alright honey! But if you need romantic advice, just come to me alright?”

“Mom!” yelled Sakura, “What??” Mebuki asked indignantly, confused on why Sakura is acting this way with her.

Sakura let out a tired huff, “Anyways! I should get going now! Or I will be late for dinner and I promised Sasuke-kun and Naruto I would be back by 7 pm!” Mebuki frowned and asked, “Won’t you stay for dinner? Your father would be happy to see you again!”

“Next time mother!” Sakura said and Mebuki tutted, shaking her head with her hands on her hips, “Fine! But you better come and visit us more often ya hear me young lady?” Honestly Sakura felt a little embarrassed that her mother was still treating her like a child when she is now a 19 year old adult. But regardless she answered back, “Of course mother! Tell father I said hi please!”

“I will! Goodbye Sakura!” Mebuki waved goodbye and so did Sakura as she began walking back to the Uchiha compound with her purse swinging back and forth each step she took thinking about her mother’s words.

“Fine! But honey, if any of them, especially that Sasuke hurts If he tries to hurt you in any way, promise you will come back to me and your father and break contact with them!”

Sakura winced and wondered, how the hell will she tell her parents about her romantic relationship with Sasuke and Naruto?? It was already bad enough that they were aware that Sasuke had tried to kill her and Naruto in the past and the fact they are very weary of Naruto as well doesn’t help despite the fact that the blonde has done nothing but protect the village over and over again! They didn’t hate Naruto especially after they learned that Naruto has protected and saved Sakura from almost getting killed by Sasuke helps a little bit but it’s clear they still don’t completely trust him despite all the reasons they should and frankly Sakura found it insane when Naruto has proven he is on Kohona’s side.

She sighed and rubbed her temples she would have to worry about this some other time because right now she wanted nothing more than to go home and cuddle with her adorable boyfriends.

And that’s exactly what she said, when she arrived her boy’s immediately were asking her if she was ok, they grabbed her stuff, cooked her favourite food and gave her a nice, relaxing shoulder massage and bathed her and then the three of them all exchanged kisses and words of endearment and cuddled off to sleep. Sakura wouldn’t trade this for anything else in the world and wondered what she had done in her life to be blessed with not one but two hardworking and attentive boyfriends. She truly is the luckiest girl in the world.

“You alright Sakura?” Ino asks with concern written on her face as she notices Sakura limping. Sakura assures, “Don’t worry Ino! I’m alright!”

Suddenly, a sly smirk appears on Ino’s face, “Was it because of Sasuke-kun~?” Sakura’s flares and she attempts to punch her best friend who luckily dodges it and she grits, “Shut it!”

What Ino didn’t know it was also Naruto who was responsible for her condition but obviously she couldn’t say that out loud.

“Sorry, couldn’t help it! It’s always so fun to tease you~” teases Ino prompting Sakura to roll her eyes, “Har har…”

Ino regains her composure, “We haven’t spent any time together so tell me, how have you and Sasuke-kun been doing?” And then she adds, “And don’t leave out a single detail!”

The two began to walk down chattering and bickering one another like their usual dynamic had always been. It was a bright and sunny day so the two of them Elgar walked down to a small food place and ordered cold drinks.

“So, have you told your parents about the two of you?” Ino asks while she takes a sip from her drink and Sakura sighs, “Yes, but they don’t approve of Sasuke-kun all that much”

“Well yeah, they probably wouldn’t want their daughter to date someone who tried to kill her multiple times in the past” Ino says as a matter of fact sort of way that causes Sakura to flush and pout, “He has changed. And it was only two times.”

“Still, they have the rights to not like him. I mean, would you like it if your child was dating a rogue ninja and in top of that they tried to kill your child?” Ino asks and Sakura sips her drink and lets out another sigh, “You do have a point…but this is my choice and this time it’s the right one”

Ino crosses her arms, “Your parent are just looking out for you Sakura that’s all, try not to take it to heart because they will eventually have to accept him” Sakura takes another sip and hums, “Yes, you are right”

‘But how am I going to get them to accept Naruto too?’

“Now, enough about you and Sasuke-kun, don’t you think Naruto should be dating someone?” Ino suddenly asks causing Sakura to almost choke while she swallowed her drink and looked at Ino bewildering, “Huh—what??”

Ino looks at her with confusion, “What? It’s about time Sakura the poor guy is still single. And with his reputation as the “war hero” there are plenty of women drooling all over him you get what I mean?”

Sakura could feel the jealousy simmering in her body as she did her best not to clench her drink so hard so she wouldn’t break it. She manages to grit out, “Y-Yeah, but why are you suddenly so interested in that idiot’s love life Ino?”

“Because Hinata has a crush on Naruto and I bet those two could be an amazing couple together don’t you think?” Ino continues, “After all, Hinata did confess her love for Naruto during his fight against Pain but with so much going on Naruto wasn’t able to reply back to Hinata’s feelings.”

“But now that the war is over and things are getting back to normal now this is the chance to help Hinata to win over Naruto!”

Sakura couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt at the mention of Hinata’s love confession. She remembers it as clear as day when the Hyuuga heiress jumped in the battle so fearlessly but also foolishly as she confessed her love for Naruto before being injured by Pain.

For some reason she felt some sadness when that happen. Not fully understanding her feelings for Naruto at that time she never understood until a few years later when travelling with Sasuke did she realize just how much she wanted to spend her life with the blonde man for how much he selflessly risked so much for her no matter how much of a jerk Sakura was to him she always loved Naruto.

She actually almost forgot about Hinata’s crush on Naruto and now feels ugly being reminded of it but just like Hinata, Sakura couldn’t ignore these hidden feelings any longer and poured her heart out to him on their picnic date along with Sasuke.

She hopes when she reveals their true relationship in the future Hinata will understand and be able to move on.

Sakura swallows, “Yeah but Ino, don’t forget they’ve hardly talked, just because Hinata has a crush on Naruto doesn’t mean Naruto is” she continues, “Plus, I’m not sure if he is into dating at the moment”

Ino lets out a hearty laugh, “True! Because the little goofball used to have a crush on you, remember??”

Sakura blushed angrily of course she remembers. How could she not when that adorable dork would always call out her name and run after her like a lost puppy? Sakura would never admit this to anyone and not even to Naruto or Sasuke but she always secretly enjoyed having Naruto’s undivided attention on her. It made her feel so special, like she was a piece of precious gold that was scared and was meant to be taken care of and protected at all cost.

She was almost tempted to punch that smug look on Ino’s face but instead she yells, “Oi! Don’t bring that up when I am dating Sasuke-kun!!”

Ino lets out another laugh, “No way! Your expressions are priceless!”

“Stupid Ino-pig!” Sakura mutters

“What was that?!” Ino screeches and now it was Sakura's turn to be smug, “Ino…PIG!!”

“Get back here forehead!!” Ino screams as she chases Sakura who runs away from her laughing all the way, she was happy she managed to distract Ino from their conversation. She along with Sasuke could both never let anyone else have their precious blonde haired boyfriend so they both adored and loved just as much as they loved each other.

KNOCK KNOCK

‘Why aren’t any of them answering the door?” Kakashi pondered, ‘I can sense their chakra, so why…?’

Kakashi wasn’t one to intrude on someone’s private life including his students but to him it seemed odd that his three former students were not answering the door even though their chakra is within their home.

Ironically, that includes Naruto too since the blonde had moved into the Uchiha residence along with Sasuke and Sakura who were going steady.

When Kakashi had learned the couple wanted Naruto to move in with them he wasn’t too surprised. He knew just how much the blonde had changed their lives and impacted their mentality in a way no one else could. Really, Kakashi was super happy to see all his students get along so nicely, it was like just yesterday they were little Fe in picking fights with one another.

Oh, how things have changed.

Kakshi glanced up at a window which he could guess was their bedroom window, again, he wasn’t one to be nosy, but it was necessary for him to make sure his students were alright if they weren't answering the door. Using his chakra and extending them to his legs he jumped extraordinarily high and landed gracefully on the roof leading him to the window. He slowly but carefully trudged against the window and took a peek at the window and…

…Oh…this was…

His students, all tangled up, naked, inside Sakura, moving fast, panting, sweating, and-

Kakashi’s face turned from fair to red very fast and he almost fell off the roof from the obscene sight. The sex scene happening in front of him was nothing compared to the ones in Jiraiya’s make out tactic's novel and even the smut in there wasn’t as dirty as this!

So, this meant Naruto was also dating Sakura…does this apply to Sasuke or-

“AAAAAAAAAAH!!” The sudden scream finally caused Kakashi to fall off the roof in startle and as he fell the last thing he saw were his three students looking at him through their window with disgust, fear, and complete utter shock!

And then, it was dark!

Kakashi let out a groan and could feel his head spinning in pain as he groggily opened his eyes and blinked a few times when the light hit his face!

He could hear murmurs in the room he was contained in, “Why was he watching us!! Nasty pervert!” Was that Naruto’s voice…?

“Tch! What are we going to say to him?” Another voice grunted, that one was definitely Sasuke’s.

“Please calm down both of you. We will find a way to explain this to him” this voice was Sakura’s and Kakashi could briefly hint the quiver in her voice when she spoke.

He saw through his blurry eyes that each of them was wearing matching white fuzzy robes.

Then, suddenly, the memories had flooded through his brain as he quickly sat up abruptly with panic in his eyes causing him to startle Naruto, “Shit! You’re awake Kakashi-sensei?!”

Sasuke and Sakura stared at him eyes widening and Sakura quickly ran to him and placed her hand on his forehead and sighed with relief, “Thank goodness! You seem to be perfectly ok now!”

“I already checked your head for any injuries and all you have is just a tiny bump on your head but otherwise you’re ok!” Sakura confirms with a weary smile causing Kakashi to feel his heart break at her pitiful expression.

It was silent for a moment. Nobody was willing to speak up as their small incident was still running fresh in their mind.

That is, until finally Sasuke broke it and spoke in a low voice, “So Kakashi, you finally know what’s going on between the three of us?”

Naruto and Sakura both tensed up and Kakashi sighed, nodding his head, “That’s right, I do”

Sakura quickly interjected, “Kakashi-sensei we can explain-“

“It’s alright Sakura” Kakashi interrupted, “You don’t have to, I’m not disgusted or against it” Hearing those words caused some surprise but also relief to his students' faces.

“You aren’t?” Naruto asks, confused and Kakashi could only sigh again, “Why would I be? You three are my students and I support you because I know the three of you are happy together!”

“I should be the one apologizing, I didn’t mean to poke my nose in your business. The reason why I spied on you three through your window was because you three weren’t answering the door when I could clearly sense your chakra in your home” Kakashi explained, and this caused his three students to blush at the implication as Sakura and Naruto both giggled bashfully while Sasuke just turned away with his face red in either both shame or embarrassment.

“I just wish you three told me” Kakashi says, and Naruto says, “Sorry sensei, we just weren’t ready to let anyone know about our poly relationship”

“That’s right, you know how they would react, especially the elders. We thought it’d be best to keep a low profile so we wouldn’t attract any negative attention” Sasuke muttered glancing at Kakashi while his hand was intertwined with Naruto confirming Kakashi’s suspicion that they were indeed dating each other along with Sakura.

“I understand, they are not ready for this yet so I will keep your secret, but we have to discuss it another day because you won’t be able to keep this relationship a secret forever!” Kakashi reminds them.

“Don’t worry, we intend on telling them one day” Sakura says and Sasuke grits, “And if they don’t approve of our relationship, we will make them!”

“Sasuke-kun…” Sakura placates

“Calm down babe” Naruto let out a small laugh

Seeing them be this affectionate with one another caused Kakashi to feel his heart swell a little at the sight before him. His three adorable little students truly have grown up haven’t day?

Now that they had talked things through, Kakashi really wanted to know how they managed to bring Naruto into their relationship, how long they dated for and etc. But considering what had happened just now Kakashi thought it’d be best to save his curiosity another day and for now left his students to enjoy their blissful morning and let them continue what they were doing before his interruption.

Sakura had faced down Akatsuki, tended to dying comrades, and watched entire villages fall. None of it, not even a whisper of it, compared to the quiet dread that settled in her stomach as she stood outside her childhood home with Naruto on one side and Sasuke on the other.

Her mother’s rose bushes were in full bloom. Her father’s wind chimes tinkled gently in the breeze. Everything was peaceful. Too peaceful.

“They’re not going to kill us,” Naruto whispered, adjusting the collar of his jacket for the third time. “Right?”

“No guarantees,” Sakura muttered, resisting the urge to pace.

Sasuke, of course, was still as stone. “You’ve fought worse,” he said without looking at her.

“Yeah,” Sakura exhaled. “But I’ve never told them I’m dating two people. At the same time. One of whom used to be a rogue ninja, and the other—well, it’s Naruto.”

“Hey!”

She shot him a look that softened into a smile. “You know I love you, idiot.”

The word hung in the air like a delicate truth—love. It was what brought them here, arm in arm despite the odd looks they got in town. It was messy and imperfect and strange, sure—but it was real.

Sakura reached for the door. It was now or never. Eventually they were going to have to do this. Especially after Kakashi found out, they all decided to have a private Team 7 meeting discussing about their relationship. Kakashi had suggested they slowly start to open up with their poly relationship with other people in hopes that they will slowly start to accept them if they told them. They were wary of it but when Kakashi reminded them that they couldn't keep their relationship a secret forever they caved in. Sakura just wished it hadn't been her parents, but Kakashi told her that they had the right to know so she didn't really have a choice.

Her parents were waiting in the living room, already seated on the couch. Sakura’s mother, Mebuki, had her hands folded primly in her lap. Her father, Kizashi, wore an awkward, overly wide grin that usually meant trouble.

“Welcome home, sweetie,” Mebuki said, standing to offer a hug, then stopping short when her eyes landed on Naruto and Sasuke.

Kizashi squinted. “Wait. Both of them?”

“Hi,” Naruto said, waving sheepishly. Sasuke gave a small bow.

Sakura sat down across from them and gestured for the boys to sit. “We wanted to talk to you. All of us.”

Mebuki’s brow furrowed. “This isn’t… about a mission, is it?”

“No,” Sakura said, clasping her hands tightly. “It’s personal.”

A long silence followed.

“We’re together,” she said simply. “All three of us.”

Mebuki blinked. “Together... like friends?”

“No, Mom,” Sakura said, the words nearly catching. “We’re in a relationship. A romantic one.”

Naruto coughed. Sasuke kept his expression unreadable, but his knee brushed Sakura’s beneath the table. Just a touch. Enough.

Kizashi’s grin faltered. “Wait—like… both of them? At the same time?”

“Yes.”

“This is a joke,” Mebuki said. “Sakura, it’s not funny.”

“I’m not joking.”

“You can’t be serious,” Mebuki snapped. “You’ve had feelings for Sasuke since you were a little girl. And Naruto—Naruto is your friend!”

“She loves both of us,” Naruto said gently. “And we love her. And each other.”

Kizashi choked. “You what?”

Sakura closed her eyes. “We didn’t expect it to happen. It just… did. Over time. We all came together after the war. We helped each other heal. And we fell in love.”

“That’s not love,” Mebuki said, standing now, trembling. “That’s confusion.”

“Mebuki,” Kizashi said, voice low, “maybe we should—”

“No. I didn’t raise my daughter to be someone’s second choice. Or third.”

Sasuke’s jaw tightened. “She isn’t. She’s our first choice. She always was.”

Mebuki’s eyes flicked to him. “You think I forgot everything you did, Uchiha?”

“No,” he said. “I don’t expect you to. But I’m not the same person. And neither is your daughter.”

“And what about you?” she snapped at Naruto. “You were always chasing after her. And now you’re with Sasuke too?”

“Yeah,” Naruto said, voice quiet but steady. “I didn’t plan it. But I wouldn’t change it either.”

There was a silence so deep it ached.

Kizashi rubbed his temples. “I… this is a lot.”

“I know,” Sakura whispered. “I know it’s not what you wanted for me. But it’s what makes me happy. And I’m finally really happy.”

Mebuki stared at her daughter—at the pride in her voice, the quiet peace in her eyes. It wasn’t some youthful rebellion or infatuation. It was conviction.

Sakura stood, stepping forward. “I don’t need your approval. But I want it. I want to bring the people I love into this family. All of us deserve that.”

“I don’t know if I can accept this,” Mebuki said.

“Can you try?” Sakura asked.

Mebuki looked at Naruto, then Sasuke, then her daughter again. The child she raised had grown into something fierce and soft all at once. Something she didn’t fully understand. But she saw the fire in her eyes.

“I can try,” she said finally.

Sakura let out a shaky breath.

Kizashi stood beside his wife and offered an unsure smile. “Love’s weird, huh?”

Naruto grinned. “Very.”

Sasuke gave the faintest of nods. “But worth it.”

Kizashi stepped forward and held out his hand. “Then… welcome to the family. Both of you.”

Naruto took it, eyes shining. “Thanks, old man.”

Mebuki still looked uncertain, but she didn’t step away when Sakura hugged her.

Later, as the sun dipped below the horizon, the three of them sat on the porch steps outside.

“That could’ve gone worse,” Naruto said, stretching out.

“It could’ve gone better,” Sakura muttered, leaning into Sasuke’s shoulder.

“But it went,” Sasuke said, his voice low. “They’ll come around.”

“They’re trying,” Sakura said. “That’s more than I hoped for.”

Naruto reached over and took her hand, then looped his fingers with Sasuke’s. “We’re a lot to take in.”

“We’re worth it,” Sasuke said without hesitation.

Sakura smiled.

Love wasn’t always easy, or tidy, or expected. But it was real. And it was theirs.
