Merry Christmas My Love

Chapter 1

Kiyoka woke up on Christmas Eve in a great mood. He was off work until the new year and he found out that he was going to be a father two days ago. He looked down at his chest and saw that his sweet precious Miyo was still sleeping. He gently caressed her cheek and kissed her lips. He gently got up and went to use the bathroom and to eat some breakfast. He wanted to go into town to buy Miyo’s Christmas gift. After he got dressed and ate his breakfast with his parents he quietly walked into their bedroom to kiss Miyo and their unborn child goodbye. Kiyoka lovingly kissed her on her lips and said, “I'm leaving now my darling. I love you so much. Rest well and take care of yourself my love.” Kiyoka kissed her belly and said, “Good morning my precious little one. Papa loves you so much. I will see you later.” He lovingly kissed her belly again and he stroked her cheek. Kiyoka quietly left the room to get his car keys and his shoes. As he put on his coat and his hat his mother reminded him that Hazuki was throwing a Christmas ball tonight and that they were going to her house to get ready for the ball. Kiyoka said, “Don’t worry mother, I will be home in plenty of time.” Kiyoka finished putting on his coat, hat, and gloves. As he put on his shoes Yurie handed him his car keys. He said to Yurie, “I'm leaving now I am going to go get Miyo’s Christmas gift. Please look after her for me.” Yurie replied, “Yes my lord, I will look after Lady Miyo. She is going to be fine. I will see you soon my lord.” Yurie bowed to Kiyoka and she shut the door after he left.

As Kiyoka drove to town he couldn't help but feel blessed. His beautiful, sweet wife was pregnant and they were going to be celebrating their second Christmas together since they got married. He wanted to make sure that this Christmas was the best one yet. Kiyoka wanted to make sure that her Christmas gift was perfect because Miyo was giving him the best Christmas gift ever. A half an hour later he was at the headquarters and Kiyoka left his car there. Kiyoka walked into town and he walked into a department store. He walked past a jewelry store and he decided to go inside. As he was looking around for her gift Kiyoka saw a beautiful diamond barrette in the shape of a rose. He also saw the matching brooch. It was also in the shape of a rose. Kiyoka said to himself, “The jewelry is so beautiful. Miyo is going to love this.” Kiyoka asked the salesman to get the barrette and the brooch. After he bought Miyo’s Christmas presents he walked to the toy store where he bought a stuffed bear for their unborn child. Once he finished shopping he walked back to his workplace and he placed the gift bag on the front passenger seat. Kiyoka started to drive home and he was happy that he found a gift for Miyo and their unborn child.

Meanwhile back at the house Miyo was sleeping when suddenly she felt nauseous and she ran to the bathroom to throw up. As she was throwing up, Fuyu knocked on the door and asked, “Miyo are you feeling alright?” Miyo weakly smiled and said, “I'm alright mother, could you please ask Yurie to make me some tea.” Fuyu said, “I'm glad that you are okay. I will make sure that Yurie makes you your tea.” Miyo replied softly, “Thank you mother.” Fuyu went to find Yurie. When she finally found Yurie she said, “Yurie could you please make some tea for Miyo? She would love to have some tea.” Yurie said, “Right away my lady.” Yurie started to make Miyo’s tea. While Yurie was making Miyo her tea. Miyo rinsed her mouth out with water and she put on a clean kimono. Before she left the room Miyo affectionately rubbed her belly. She walked into the sitting room where she greeted her mother and father in law. Yurie came back into the sitting room with Miyo’s tea and said, “Good morning my lady I have your tea. How are you feeling today my lady?” Miyo smiled softly and said, “Good morning Yurie. Thank you so much for the tea. I am feeling okay although I still feel nauseous and lightheaded.” Yurie smiled and bowed to Miyo and said, “I'm glad that you are okay. After you drink your tea you should lay down, my lady.” Miyo nodded her head in agreement and she started to drink her tea. Fuyu patted Miyo on her shoulder and said, “Miyo you should get some sleep because we are going to Hazuki’s Christmas ball. If you still want to go.” Miyo said, “Yes mother, I will get some sleep because I want to go to the ball.” After Miyo drank all of her tea she went back to bed and she fell asleep.

A half an hour later Kiyoka came home. Yurie greeted him with a bow and said, “Lady Miyo was up earlier but she went back to sleep.” Kiyoka asked, “Did Miyo eat anything?” Yurie said, “No Lady Miyo had morning sickness and she felt too nauseous to eat anything. I made her some tea.” Kiyoka smiled at Yurie and he went inside. He put the gifts in his office and he spoke to his parents. A half an hour later Kiyoka went into their bedroom to check on Miyo. Miyo was wrapped up in fine linen sheets while snuggling with her stuffed bunny. Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and he caressed her cheek. Before he left the room he tenderly kissed her belly and her forehead. Kiyoka went to the sitting room to spend time with his parents. Two hours later Miyo woke up and she threw up in the bathroom again. After she was finished in the bathroom. Miyo got dressed and went to the sitting room. Kiyoka said, “Hello my love, did you enjoy your nap?” Miyo sleepily replied, “Hi honey yes I enjoyed my nap. Darling where did you go? When I woke up you were gone.” Kiyoka stroked Miyo’s cheek and said, “I'm glad that you enjoyed your nap. I'm sorry that I worried you, my darling. I had to run some errands today.” Miyo blushed and she kissed Kiyoka on the lips. Yurie made Miyo some soup and rice. Miyo hungrily ate her soup and rice. After Miyo finished eating her soup and rice. Yurie and Kiyoka put Miyo’s and Fuyu’s ball gowns in the car along with their accessories and toiletries. Kiyoka also put his and his father's suits in the car. Miyo, Fuyu, Tadakiyo, and Kiyoka got dressed and they left the house. Kiyoka made sure that his precious Miyo dressed warmly because he didn't want Miyo to catch a chill. Once they got into the car they waved to Yurie and Kiyoka drove away from the house. Fuyu wrapped a warm blanket around Miyo. Miyo snuggled up into the blanket and asked, “Mother, are you feeling cold?” Fuyu softly smiled at Miyo and said, “I'm not cold Miyo. I don't want you and my grandchild to be cold.” Miyo smiled and said, “Thank you very much mother.” Miyo happily rubbed her belly while looking at the falling snow outside of the car.

Forty minutes later Kiyoka pulled up to Hazuki’s house. Kiyoka helped his pregnant wife and his mother out of the car. They entered the house while the servants unpacked the car. Hazuki greeted them and said, “The ball doesn't start until 6:00 P.M. Why don't we relax upstairs.” Miyo and Fuyu followed Hazuki upstairs so that they could have some girl time. A servant served them some tea and they gossiped over tea and pastries. After a while Miyo felt nauseous and she ran to the bathroom to vomit. Hazuki held Miyo’s hair back as she vomited. Hazuki asked, “Little sister, are you feeling okay?” Miyo weakly smiled at Hazuki and said, “I'm okay I just need some more tea.” Hazuki asked a servant to make some tea for Miyo. Ten minutes later Miyo got her tea and she drank it. Kiyoka came upstairs to check on Miyo. Miyo told him that she was feeling fine and he tenderly patted Miyo on her head. Kiyoka went back downstairs to the sitting room.

An hour later it was time to get ready for the ball. Miyo took a bath and she washed her hair. She put on rose scented lotion and she put on her perfume that smelled like jasmine. Finally she put on her ball gown. It was a white velvet dress with long sleeves and a matching white bow tied around her waist. Hazuki did Miyo’s hair and it was styled into a fancy updo with snowflake hair pins in her hair. Fuyu did Miyo’s makeup for her. Finally Miyo completed the look with diamond dangling earrings and a matching diamond necklace. Fuyu gave Miyo a diamond ring to wear for the ball. Fuyu and Hazuki said, “Miyo you look so beautiful. You look just like a snowflake.” Miyo blushed and shyly replied, “Thank you both so very much. You both look beautiful as well.” Fuyu had on a red ball gown and a white fur stole. Her gloves matched her dress and she had on a ruby ring. She had on ruby dangling earrings and a matching ruby necklace. Her hair was also styled in an elegant updo with ruby hair pins. Hazuki had on a deep emerald green ball gown with matching gloves. She had an emerald green shawl over her shoulders. She wore emerald dangling earrings and a matching emerald necklace. Hazuki also wore a matching emerald ring. Hazuki’s hair was beautifully curled around her face. As the ladies walked downstairs Hazuki said, “Miyo don't feel like you have to push yourself to stay at the ball the entire night.” Fuyu replied, “Miyo if you don't feel well or if you feel like you reached your limit don't hesitate to let us know.” Miyo smiled and said, “Okay I won't push myself too hard.” When Miyo got downstairs Kiyoka was waiting for her. When he saw Miyo he was stunned. Kiyoka said, “Miyo you look so gorgeous my darling.” Miyo blushed and said, “Thank you honey you look really handsome.” Kiyoka blushed and said, “Shall we Mrs. Kudo?” Miyo blushed and she shyly took his arm.

At 6:00 P.M the first guests arrived at the ball and they were welcomed by the Kudo family. As the guests came in, Miyo's nose was assaulted with the strong odor of cologne. It almost made her nauseous but she breathed through her mouth. Luckily she didn't throw up or make an disgusted face. Once all of the guests arrived Hazuki, Fuyu, Tadakiyo, Kiyoka, and Miyo entered the ballroom. Hazuki, Fuyu, and Miyo gossiped with Kaya and a couple of the other ladies. Kiyoka and Tadakiyo talked with Godo and Kazushi. Kiyoka looked over at Miyo and she looked so beautiful. He wanted to take Miyo into his arms and dance with her. Kiyoka heard the musicians start to play some music. He walked over to Miyo and wrapped his arms around her waist. Kiyoka kissed Miyo's hand and asked, “My lady, would you do me the honor of dancing with me?” Miyo blushed and said, “I would be honored to have this dance with you.” Miyo took his arm and Kiyoka led Miyo to the dance floor. Kiyoka wrapped his arm around Miyo’s waist and he held her close. They started to dance to the music. As they were dancing Miyo sighed happily as she laid her head on his chest. Kiyoka whispered into Miyo’s ear and said, “I love you my darling. You feel so good in my arms my love.” Miyo blushed and said, “I love you too honey.” Five minutes later the song was over. Kiyoka led Miyo away from the dance floor. Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s hand and asked, “Miyo darling, are you thirsty?” Miyo shook her head yes and said, “Yes honey I am pretty thirsty.” Kiyoka affectionately patted Miyo on her head and said, “Okay my darling I will get you something to drink, wait right here my darling.” Miyo sat down on the bench that was nearby. Another one of Miyo’s friends sat down next to her and they started chatting. Five minutes later Kiyoka came back with a glass of water for Miyo. Kiyoka said, “Here is your water my darling.” Miyo smiled at him and said, “Thank you honey.” Miyo drank all of her water and she continued to have a conversation with her friend. A waiter walked over to them with a tray filled with delicious pastries and chocolates. Miyo and her friend took a pastry and a couple of chocolates. They ate their desserts and they gossiped some more for a little while. Suddenly Miyo felt nauseous and she excused herself from the conservation. She quickly walked into a bathroom where she threw up. Hazuki followed Miyo to the bathroom to check on her. Hazuki knocked on the door and asked, “Miyo are you okay?” Miyo panted and said, “I'm okay thanks for checking up on me.” Once Miyo finished throwing up she rinsed her mouth out with water. Hazuki replied, “Miyo, why don't we get you some lemon ginger tea.” Miyo weakly smiled at Hazuki and said, “I would like that very much.” Hazuki found a servant to make Miyo’s tea and ten minutes later Miyo drank all of her tea. Hazuki squeezed Miyo’s hands reassuringly and asked, “Are you ready to go back to the ball? Miyo said, “I'm ready, let's go.”

Hazuki and Miyo walked back into the ball. Fuyu and Kaya walked over to Miyo and Hazuki and asked, “Miyo, are you feeling okay?” Miyo smiled and said, “I'm okay, I just had morning sickness.” As the ladies were talking Arata and Yoshirou walked over to them. They said, “Merry Christmas everyone. Hello Miyo, have you been taking care of yourself?” Miyo happily replied, “Hello my dear cousin and grandfather. Yes I have been well.” Miyo chatted with her grandfather and cousin for a little while. Miyo walked over to the refreshment table to get some tea and a small snack. While she was eating her food Godo walked over and said, “Hello Lady Miyo it has been a long time since I have last seen you. How have you been doing?” Miyo smiled and said, “Hello Mr Godo I have been well. How about you?” Godo said, “I'm glad that you are doing well. I'm doing great.” Miyo and Godo chatted for a little while until he left to talk to someone else. The musicians started playing and Kiyoka and Miyo danced together. After they finished their second dance Miyo was talking to Hazuki, Fuyu, Kaya, and some of her other friends when she felt nauseous again. She quickly walked to the bathroom and she vomited again. Fuyu went to check on Miyo. After Miyo finished throwing up and rinsing her mouth out with water she and Fuyu went back to the ball. A little while later while Miyo was having a conversation with her friends she felt lightheaded and dizzy. Fuyu and Hazuki took one look at Miyo and they decided to pull her to the side. Fuyu asked, “Miyo, are you feeling okay? You look really pale.” Miyo weakly smiled and said, “Mother, I don't feel so good. The room is spinning and I feel lightheaded. I'm so sorry Hazuki for leaving in the middle of your ball.” Hazuki squeezed Miyo’s hands reassuringly and said, “Miyo it's okay I'm more concerned about you and your baby. You should go home and get some rest.” Fuyu said, “Hazuki I want you to help Miyo change out of her ballgown and help her back into her kimono. I am going to get Kiyoka and your father so that we can get Miyo home.” Hazuki gave Miyo a quick hug and she slowly guided Miyo out of the ballroom. Hazuki and Miyo made it back into the dressing room and Hazuki helped Miyo change out of her ball gown and she helped Miyo change back into her kimono. While they were waiting for Kiyoka, Fuyu, and Tadakiyo; Miyo laid down on the couch. Meanwhile back in the ballroom Fuyu was looking for her husband and son. She finally found them and she walked over to them and said, “We need to go back home. Miyo is feeling dizzy and lightheaded and she wants to go home.” Kiyoka and Tadakiyo followed Fuyu upstairs to the dressing room. Kiyoka stroked Miyo’s cheek and said, “Hi my darling you're not feeling well. Do you want to go home?” Miyo shook her head yes. Kiyoka tenderly took Miyo’s hand and softly said, “My poor precious Miyo, let's get you home okay.” Kiyoka put on Miyo’s jacket and he helped Miyo downstairs to the entryway. The servants put their belongings in Kiyoka’s car. Once their belongings were in the car they got in the car. Tadakiyo and Kiyoka were sitting in the front and Miyo and Fuyu were sitting in the back. Kiyoka started to drive back home. While Kiyoka was driving them home Miyo fell asleep on Fuyu’s lap. Fuyu draped a blanket over Miyo as Miyo slept.

Forty minutes later they were back home. Kiyoka asked his mother, “Did Miyo fall asleep?” Fuyu answered, “Yes she did. Poor thing she was exhausted.” Kiyoka gently picked up Miyo and he carried her into their bedroom. Once he entered their bedroom he gently laid her down on their bed and he took off her kimono and he put a clean yukata on her. Kiyoka left the room so that he could change out of his suit. He changed into a clean kimono. After Yurie got their belongings out of the car she made tea for everyone. Kiyoka, Tadakiyo, and Fuyu talked about Hazuki’s ball. An hour later Miyo quickly walked to the bathroom to throw up. After she finished throwing up she rinsed her mouth out with water and she walked into the sitting room. Kiyoka said, “Hello my love, how are you doing?” Miyo sat in Kiyoka’s lap and said, “I'm okay, I'm still lightheaded and nauseous. Honey, can you please make me some tea?” Kiyoka stroked Miyo’s cheek and said, “Okay my darling I will make you some tea. Stay right here my darling.” Kiyoka got up and he went to the kitchen to make Miyo’s tea.” Miyo chatted with Tadakiyo and Fuyu while she was waiting for Kiyoka to make her tea. Ten minutes later Kiyoka came back to the sitting room with Miyo’s tea. Kiyoka gave Miyo her tea and said, “Here's your tea my darling.” Miyo smiled and said, “Thank you honey I appreciate it.” Kiyoka kissed the top of Miyo’s head and he sat down.” Miyo slowly sipped her tea while she was chatting with Kiyoka and her father and mother in law. Ten minutes later Miyo finished drinking her tea. Tadakiyo and Fuyu said goodnight to Kiyoka and Miyo and they went to bed. Miyo yawned and she snuggled deeper into Kiyoka’s chest. Kiyoka asked, “Miyo darling, are you ready to go to sleep?” Miyo yawned and said, “Yes I am really tired.” Kiyoka carefully picked up Miyo and carried her bridal style down the hallway towards their bedroom. Kiyoka gently laid Miyo down on their bed. Kiyoka and Miyo got ready for bed. They both got right back into bed and they snuggled up next to each other. Miyo laid her head on Kiyoka’s chest and she felt Kiyoka wrap his arms around her waist. She felt Kiyoka run his fingers through Miyo’s hair. Miyo sighed softly and said, “I feel bad for leaving Hazuki’s ball early.” Kiyoka kissed the top of Miyo’s head and said, “Darling please don’t feel bad. Miyo darling, it's okay to leave early. You were focusing on your health and our baby.” Miyo bit her lip and said, “Do you think Hazuki will be mad at me for leaving her ball early.” Kiyoka stroked Miyo’s cheek and said, “Miyo my love Hazuki is not going to be mad at you because Hazuki cares about you.” Miyo smiled a relieved smile and said, “Thank you honey I feel so much better. I love you so much.” Kiyoka kissed her lips and said, “I love you too my darling.” Kiyoka and Miyo cuddled and kissed until Miyo fell asleep. Kiyoka lovingly kissed her belly and said, “Goodnight my precious little one. Mama and papa love you so very much.” He smiled and he lovingly kissed her belly again. Kiyoka whispered into Miyo’s ear and said, “Rest well my love. I love you so much my darling.” Kiyoka softly kissed Miyo on her lips and he wrapped the blanket around the both of them. Once his sweet, precious Miyo was comfortable he shut his eyes and went to sleep.

Chapter Text

Chapter 2

The next morning Kiyoka woke up and looked down at his chest and saw that his precious Miyo was still sleeping. He kissed her lips and whispered, “Merry Christmas my love. I love you so much.” Kiyoka gently got up from the bed and he caressed Miyo’s cheek. Miyo sighed softly and she turned over. Kiyoka smiled and he gently tucked Miyo into bed. Kiyoka left their bedroom and walked into the sitting room. Kiyoka grabbed some coal and then he put it in the fireplace and he used his fire ability to light the fire. Yurie walked into the sitting room and said, “Merry Christmas Young Master, how did you sleep?” Kiyoka smiled at Yurie and replied, “Merry Christmas Yurie I slept well thanks for asking.” Yurie asked, “Would you like some tea my lord? Is Lady Miyo still sleeping, my lord?” Kiyoka answered, “I would love some tea, Yurie. Yes Miyo is still sleeping. I want her to have as much rest as possible.” Yurie bowed and said, “Yes my lord I will make you some tea.” Yurie left the sitting room to make Kiyoka’s tea. While Kiyoka was waiting for his tea Fuyu and Tadakiyo walked into the sitting room. Tadakiyo and Fuyu said, “Merry Christmas my son. Did you sleep well?” Kiyoka said, “Merry Christmas mother and father. I slept well. How did you sleep?” Fuyu and Tadakiyo replied, “We slept well, my son. Did Miyo wake up yet?” Kiyoka replied, “I'm glad that you slept well. No, I don't want to wake up Miyo. She needs her rest.” Ten minutes later Yurie came back with tea for everyone. Tadakiyo and Fuyu greeted Yurie and they wished her a Merry Christmas. While they were drinking their tea Fuyu gave Kiyoka his Christmas gift. After he drank his tea he opened his gift and it was a sculpture of a bird. It was carved out of the finest, most expensive wood. Kiyoka smiled and said, “Thank you mother and father, this is beautiful.” His parents said, “You’re welcome, my son.”

An half an hour later Miyo woke up and she felt queasy and she quickly ran to the bathroom to throw up. While Miyo was throwing up, Yurie knocked on the door and asked, “Good morning my lady, are you alright? Would you like some tea?” Miyo softly replied, “Good morning Yurie I'm okay. I would love some tea.” Yurie said, “I'm glad that you are okay my lady. I will make your tea.” Yurie bowed and she went to the kitchen to Miyo’s tea. After Miyo rinsed her mouth out she went back into their bedroom to put on a kimono. She walked into the sitting room and said, “Good morning everyone. Merry Christmas.” Tadakiyo said, “Merry Christmas my daughter. How are you feeling?” Miyo replied, “I'm okay father, I feel a little nauseous.” Fuyu said, “Merry Christmas Miyo. How did you sleep?” Miyo replied, “Merry Christmas mother, I slept well. Did you and father sleep well?” Fuyu replied, “I'm glad that you slept well. Tadakiyo and I slept well. Miyo, you should sit down. I have a gift for you.” Miyo sat down next to Kiyoka and Fuyu gave Miyo her gift. It was a crystal vase and some chocolate. Miyo hugged her mother in law and said, “Thank you so much mother. This vase is so beautiful and it is going in our bedroom.” Kiyoka and Miyo gave Fuyu and Tadakiyo their gifts. Fuyu got some perfume and Tadakiyo got a glass sculpture. After Tadakiyo and Fuyu thanked Kiyoka and Miyo for their gifts, they left the sitting room so that Miyo and Kiyoka could have some privacy.

Miyo sat in Kiyoka’s lap and she felt Kiyoka wrap his arms around her waist. Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and said, “Merry Christmas my love. I love you so much.” Miyo blushed and said, “Merry Christmas honey. I love you too.” Miyo sighed happily as she snuggled deeper into Kiyoka’s chest. Kiyoka ran his fingers through Miyo’s hair and he kissed her on the top of her head. Ten minutes later Yurie came back into the sitting room with Miyo’s tea. “Merry Christmas my lady, I have your tea.” Miyo smiled and said, “Merry Christmas Yurie. Thank you for making my tea.” Yurie bowed and said, “You're welcome my lady. Please relax while I make breakfast.” Yurie bowed and she left the sitting room to continue cooking breakfast. Miyo slowly sipped her tea while watching the fire. Kiyoka walked over to the Christmas tree and he grabbed his gifts for Miyo. When Miyo finished drinking her tea she sat back on Kiyoka’s lap. Kiyoka said, “I have your Christmas gifts. Do you want to open your gifts my darling?” Miyo smiled and she excitedly shook her head yes. He kissed Miyo on her forehead and he gave her the gifts. Miyo unwrapped the first box and said, “Oh honey it's so beautiful. I can't wait to wear it in my hair today. Thank you.” Miyo unwrapped the second box and she gasped. Miyo said, “Thank you honey, it's so beautiful. I'm going to wear the brooch someday.” Miyo kissed Kiyoka on his lips. Kiyoka blushed and said, “You're welcome my darling. I am glad that you love your gifts. I bought something for our baby.” Kiyoka gave Miyo the stuffed teddy bear. Miyo caressed his cheek and said, “Our child is going to love your gift honey.” Miyo kissed Kiyoka on his cheek and she got up and walked towards the Christmas tree. She picked up a wrapped present and said, “Merry Christmas honey I hope you like your gift.” Miyo gives Kiyoka his gift and he unwrapped it. It was a pocket watch with his name engraved on it. Kiyoka said, “Miyo darling, this is so beautiful. I love it, thank you my darling.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and he gave her a hug. Kiyoka and Miyo cuddled on the couch until breakfast was finished. Yurie, Miyo, Kiyoka, Fuyu, and Tadakiyo had breakfast together. After breakfast Miyo felt lightheaded and dizzy. Miyo said, “I feel lightheaded. I think that I'm going to have a nap.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and said, “Enjoy your nap my love.” Miyo smiled weakly at him and she left the sitting room.

Once Miyo got to her bedroom she changed into her rose print yukata and she grabbed her stuffed bunny. Miyo affectionately rubbed her belly and said, “Sweet dreams my precious little angel. Mama loves you so much.” She finally climbed into bed with her stuffed bunny and she finally fell asleep. Meanwhile back in the sitting room Kiyoka was playing cards with his parents. An hour later Kiyoka went to their bedroom to check on Miyo. He looked over at Miyo and saw that she was still sleeping while she was snuggled up with her stuffed bunny. Kiyoka walked over to Miyo and he kissed her lips and he kissed her on her belly. He smiled and he left the room. Two hours later Miyo woke up because she felt nauseous and she ran to the bathroom. Miyo threw up and while she was catching her breath, Miyo threw up again. Miyo rinsed her mouth out with water and she put on her kimono. She walked into the kitchen to make herself some tea. Yurie asked her, “Are you feeling alright my lady? Would you like some tea?” Miyo smiled weakly and said, “I'm okay Yurie. I would love some tea?” Yurie guided Miyo to a chair and said, “Would you please sit here my lady. I will make your tea right away.” Miyo smiled and said, “Thank you so much Yurie.” Yurie squeezed Miyo’s hands and said, “You're welcome my lady.” Ten minutes later Yurie finished making Miyo’s tea and she gave it to Miyo. Miyo slowly sipped her tea until she was finished. Miyo hugged Yurie and she walked back into the sitting room. Miyo snuggled up next to Kiyoka and she sighed happily. Kiyoka wrapped his arms around Miyo’s waist and he held her close. Miyo and Kiyoka were cuddling in front of the fireplace for a while. At 2:00 P.M Miyo and Kiyoka got up because they needed to get dressed. Kiyoka ran a bath for Miyo and he picked out a kimono that he was going to wear. Once Miyo was finished with her bath Kiyoka took his bath and got dressed. When Miyo was finished with her bath she went into her bedroom to get dressed. Miyo put on a gold kimono with a cream swirling pattern and the obi was cream with gold swirling patterns. She styled her hair in an elegant updo and she put on the rose barrette. She also wore dangling diamond earrings and a matching diamond necklace. Miyo did her make up and she was finished. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled because she was ready for the Christmas party.

Miyo walked into the sitting room to wait for her guests. Fuyu walked over to Miyo and said, “Miyo you look so gorgeous. Is that barrette new?” Miyo blushed and shyly replied, “Thank you mother you look beautiful as well. Kiyoka gave me this barrette for Christmas.” Kiyoka entered the sitting room and was stunned by his wife’s beauty. Kiyoka said, “You look so beautiful my love. The barrette suits you.” Miyo kissed his cheek and said, “Thank you so much honey. You look really handsome.” Kiyoka blushed and he affectionately patted Miyo on her head. The first guest to arrive was Hazuki. After Hazuki hugged Yurie and wished her a Merry Christmas she walked into the sitting room. She said, “Merry Christmas everyone, it is great to see you all.” Hazuki hugged her brother and her parents. Hazuki walked over to Miyo and said, “Little sister, you look so gorgeous. How are you feeling?” Miyo smiled and said, “Hello big sister, thank you for your kindness. I'm feeling okay, big sister. Big sister, you look so beautiful.” Hazuki and Miyo hug and they sit down on the couch next to Fuyu. Fuyu, Miyo, and Hazuki gossiped while they were drinking their tea. The next guests to arrive were Koji and Kaya. Miyo and Koji hugged and Koji shook Kiyoka’s hand. Kaya hugged Miyo and said, “Merry Christmas big sister. How are you feeling today?” Miyo smiled warmly at Kaya and said, “Merry Christmas little sister. I'm feeling okay. How are you doing today?” Kaya smiled and said, “I'm glad that you are feeling okay. I'm doing well today.” Kaya greeted Hazuki and Fuyu. After Kaya got her tea and pastry the ladies decided to eat and gossip in the kitchen. Kaya and Hazuki told them about a situation that happened at the ball after they had left. Miyo and Fuyu were shocked by the gossip. The ladies also flipped through a fashion magazine to see the latest fashionable clothing. Miyo excused herself from the conservation several times to go to the bathroom to throw up.

While the ladies were talking in the kitchen Godo, Yoshirou, and Arata arrived at the house. They were welcomed into the house by Yurie. Meanwhile back in the kitchen the ladies finished reading the fashion magazine and they decided to go back into the sitting room. When they got to the sitting room they greeted Yoshirou, Arata, and Godo. Godo hugged Miyo and said, “Hello Lady Miyo, it is great to see you again. Are you feeling okay? Your face is pale.” Miyo said, “Hello Mr Godo it is great to see you again as well. I'm okay, I'm just coming down with a stomach bug.” Godo frowned and replied, “I'm so sorry Miyo I hope that you feel better.” Miyo smiled and said, “Thank you so much for your kind words.” Miyo hugged her grandfather and cousin. Miyo, Kiyoka, and their guests had a lively conversation while Yurie finished cooking Christmas dinner. During the conservation, Miyo excused herself to go to the bathroom to throw up. After she finished throwing up she rinsed her mouth out with water and went back to the sitting room. Miyo ate a piece of the candied ginger to settle her stomach. Thirty minutes later Yurie had finished cooking dinner. Yurie came back into the sitting room to bring her lord and lady and their guests to the dining room. Before they could eat, Kiyoka wanted to make a toast. He said, “I would like to make a toast to all of our friends and family that came today to celebrate with us. I also want to dedicate this toast to my precious Miyo. I love you so much. Miyo and I appreciate everyone for coming to celebrate with us. Merry Christmas everyone.” After the toast everyone started to eat while having lively conversations with each other. After dinner everyone except for Miyo went back into the sitting room to drink after dinner tea and to eat some pastries. Miyo walked into the kitchen and asked, “Yurie do you need help with the dishes?” Yurie squeezed Miyo’s hands and said, “You're so thoughtful my lady I can handle the dishes you should spend time with your guests.” Miyo smiled and said, “Thank you so much Yurie, you did so much for Kiyoka and I.” Yurie wiped her eyes and said, “You're welcome my lady, the both of you are very important to me.” Miyo and Yurie hug and Miyo walks back into the sitting room. Miyo snuggled up next to Kiyoka and she sighed happily. Kiyoka while he was talking to Godo, he ran his fingers through Miyo’s hair. Miyo was having a conversation with her cousin and grandfather when she felt nauseous. She got up and she quickly walked to the bathroom to throw up. Arata decided to go to check on Miyo. He knocked on the bathroom door and asked, “My dear cousin are you alright?” Miyo panted and said, “I'm alright cousin, could you please ask Yurie to make me some tea?” Arata replied, “Alright Miyo, I will ask Yurie to make you some tea.” Arata walked into the kitchen and asked Yurie to make some tea for Miyo. Five minutes later Miyo finished throwing up and she rinsed her mouth out with water. She walked back into the sitting room and she snuggled up next to Kiyoka. Kiyoka wrapped his arms around Miyo’s waist and he held her close. Kiyoka asked, “Are you okay my darling?” Miyo sighed and softly said, “I'm alright, I feel a little bit nauseous.” Yurie came back into the sitting room to bring Miyo her tea. Yurie said, “Here's your tea my lady please enjoy.” Miyo said, “Thank you Yurie.” Yurie bowed and she went back to the kitchen. Miyo slowly sipped her tea while talking to their guests. After they finished having a lively conversation their guests started to leave.

The first guest to leave was Godo. He said, “Merry Christmas commander and Lady Miyo. I hope you feel better Lady Miyo. He hugged Miyo and he patted Kiyoka’s shoulder and he left. The next two people to leave were Arata and Yoshirou. They wished for Miyo and Kiyoka to have a Merry Christmas. They also wanted Miyo to take care of herself. They hugged Miyo and they left. The next people to leave were Kaya and Koji. Koji hugged Miyo and said, “Goodbye Miyo take care of yourself. I am so happy for you and Kiyoka.” Kaya hugged Miyo and said, “I had fun, big sister. I can't believe that you're pregnant. I will call you tomorrow.” Before Kaya left she gave Miyo a stuffed bunny. She said, “It’s for the baby. I hope you like it.” Miyo hugged Kaya and said, “Thank you so much Kaya. I really appreciate it.” Kaya smiled and said, “It’s no problem I wanted to do something nice for my niece or nephew. Farewell big sister.” Kaya and Koji left the house hand in hand. The final person to leave was Hazuki. She hugged her brother and her parents. Hazuki hugged Miyo and said, “Goodbye little sister take care of yourself. I will see you tomorrow.” Miyo smiled and said, “Goodbye big sister I will see you tomorrow.” Hazuki waved to Yurie, her parents, and Kiyoka. After Hazuki said goodbye to everyone she left. Tadakiyo and Fuyu said, “Goodnight my son and daughter rest well.” They hugged Miyo and Kiyoka and they went into their bedroom. Kiyoka and Miyo cuddled on the couch until Miyo felt sleepy. Kiyoka kissed the top of Miyo’s head and asked, “Are you feeling sleepy my darling?” Miyo yawned and said, “Yes I am so sleepy I had a long day today.” Kiyoka said, “Come on my darling, let's get ready for bed. The couple left the sitting room to get ready for bed. Once they got ready for bed they climbed into bed. Kiyoka wrapped his arms around Miyo’s waist and asked, “Did you enjoy Christmas my darling?” Miyo sighed happily and said, “Yes honey I did enjoy myself. But I can't wait until our baby gets here so that we can celebrate Christmas together.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and said, “I can't wait to meet our baby as well. I can't wait to pass on family traditions to our baby.” Kiyoka affectionately kissed his wife’s belly. Miyo affectionately rubbed her belly and said, “Goodnight my precious little angel. We love you so very much.” Miyo and Kiyoka were cuddling until they both fell asleep. Two days later Tadakiyo and Fuyu were getting ready to leave. The driver put their belongings in the car. Tadakiyo walked over to Kiyoka and gave him a hug. He said, “Son, I'm so proud of you. I can't believe that you are going to be a father. I am happy for you. Take care of Miyo.” Tadakiyo gave Miyo a hug and said, “Congratulations my daughter you have brought a smile to this old man's face. I can't wait to meet my grandchild. Please take care of yourself. Farewell Miyo.” Fuyu patted Kiyoka’s shoulder and said, “Goodbye my son I'm thrilled for you and Miyo. I want the both of you to take care of yourselves.” Fuyu hugged Miyo and said, “Goodbye my daughter, I am so excited for you. Please take care of yourself and my grandchild. If you need anything please let me know and we will help you.” Kiyoka and Miyo said, “Goodbye mother and father have a safe journey home. Thank you for everything.” Fuyu and Tadakiyo got into the car and they drove away. Miyo laid her head on Kiyoka’s shoulder. Kiyoka ran his fingers through Miyo’s hair and asked, “Are you feeling alright my love?” Miyo sighed and said, “I feel so tired and lightheaded.” Kiyoka gently picked up Miyo and he carried her into their bedroom bridal style. Miyo squealed and said, “Honey you don't need to carry me.” Kiyoka teasingly replied, “I just wanted to carry you.” Miyo blushed and she kissed Kiyoka on the lips. Miyo changed into her cherry blossom yukata and she laid down. Kiyoka ran his fingers through Miyo’s hair until she fell asleep. Kiyoka lovingly kissed her belly and her lips. He said, “I love you so much my darling. I can't wait to have a baby with you.” Kiyoka kissed Miyo’s lips and he tucked Miyo in and he quietly left the room. Kiyoka went outside to create a strong barrier to protect Miyo and their growing family. He went inside to snuggle with his beautiful, precious, pregnant Miyo. Kiyoka and Miyo are truly blessed.
