Family Comes First

Notes:

Maria and Elena start their day off at church together and Elena runs up to her dad Danny, then the family meets them at the service where the pastor preached on faith.

Maria and Elena start their day off at church together and Elena runs up to her dad Danny, then the family meets them at the service where the pastor preached on faith. After church, the family went to Frank's house to eat some fried chicken, dinner rolls and some mashed potatoes with some wine and apple juice. They all said grace, after dinner Danny and Maria went back to her house while Elena stayed the night at her Aunt Erin's house. Meanwhile at Maria and Danny's house, they got to talking about their future together and she asked him to adopt Elena and he said yes and they called Erin on the phone and asked her to help them start adoption papers and she said yes but don't tell Elena it's a surprise.
The next day the family came together to surprise Maria's daughter and Danny gave her the papers and she said yes. A week later Danny Maria and Elena went to the court room and the whole family was there and 5 minutes later, Elena's name was changed to Elena Baez-Reagan. Later that night the family went back to Maria and Danny house to celebrate with ice-cream and milkshakes.

Chapter 2: Frank,Erin,Pops and Jamko reaction to Maria and Danny being together

Danny brings Maria and Elena to family dinner for the first time and the whole family welcome her with open arms. During dinner they get to know Maria and Elena and Danny was so happy that his family approves of his girlfriend and his daughter. After dinner Frank asked Maria how she feels about him being her Captain post her graduating from the Police Academy. She says I think that's a wonderful idea dad and thank you for welcoming me and my daughter with open arms. You're welcome Maria and i consider you one of my daughter and Elena as my granddaughter. Danny we need to have a talk son you make sure you treat Maria and your daughter with respect and love. The next day Danny was getting Elena ready for church and Maria was standing there so happy that she picked the right one. When they got to church Elena ran up to her Aunt Erin and sat with her during the service. After service the family went back to Danny and Maria's house for lunch where they said grace and then Nicky went to put Elena down for a nap. The next day Erin came to pick up Elena and took her to school while Danny and Maria got ready for work and Danny had a gift for Maria and it was a promise ring and he said I promise to love you and Elena with all my heart she said i loved it babe thank you. On the way to worked they listened to God gave me you. When they arrived to work they said their prayers and then they went into their precinct, they got straight to work. Around 12 pm it was lunch time they called Erin just to see if she was picking Elena from school and she said yes and that she'll stay at my house until you both get off. After lunch they went back to work when Frank showed up and asked Maria if she could go help Eddie with a case, she said of course Captain so she told Danny I'll be back he says to Maria be safe out there. Maria calls Eddie on the way to the scene. Back at the precinct, Danny is typing up his report on a case when Maria and Eddie come back into the 5-4, Danny was thankful that his girlfriend and sister in law came back safe and sound. Later that night Maria and Danny called Erin and asked her could Elena stay the night and she said yes. The next day, Danny and Maria went to surprise Elena at Erin's house and she was so happy to see her parents. At Sunday dinner, Maria asked if she could say grace and join hands and they said yes so she said grace. Afterwards they went to watch the Jets play. Around 9pm Danny,Maria and Elena decided to have a sleepover at Frank's house.

Danny and Maria talk to Jack Sean and Joe and new changes in their lives so how you feel about me dating Maria and being a father to her daughter Elena. I feel so happy that Maria and Elena is in our lives Jack and Sean said with excitement and Joe said I'm so happy that I have another niece and sister. Today is also a special day its the day I asked Maria to be my girlfriend and I'm so happy i did. Later that night Danny Maria and Elena went out to get pizza to celebrate. After dinner they all went home to get ready for bed. The next day Danny went to go wake up Elena for school and got her ready for school and after he dropped his daughter off at school he called Maria to make sure she was awake and ready for and to also see what she wants for breakfast and she said we'll get donuts from work and then he said that i'm on the way to come get you I can't wait to see you my beautiful queen. 5 minutes later Danny arrives at their house to pick her up and as always Maria came out looking so beautiful and lovely. Good Morning my love lets head to work. When they got to work they headed straight to the precinct to get their coffee when Erin walks in and asked Danny to reopen a case and he said yes. That evening Danny and Maria were heading to Frank's house for family dinner when Erin called and said Pops (Henry had a heart attack) while he was trying to put some chicken in the oven. Danny asked is he okay Erin says I don't know the ambulance just came to take him to Lenox Hill Hospital for some tests to be done and find out what caused it. So Danny and Maria headed to the hospital to be with pops, Maria was calling her Tia Simone and asking her if Elena could stay a few more days because there's been an emergency with Henry and she said yes. Meanwhile at the hospital the tests came back with blockage in his heart which caused the heart attack. The Reagan family had to have family dinner in the dining hall at the hospital. A week later Henry was discharged from the hospital with a limited diet for a few weeks. Over the next few days Danny and Maria stayed at Frank and Henry house while Frank was at work. A few weeks later Henry started feel better and was on the mend to go back to work but still has to take it easy and not to overdo it.

Chapter 4: Danny and Maria move to Boston

Frank is not too happy about it and he didn't want to help Danny make Sgt.
Danny admitted he wanted to make rank
Once Frank is over the hurt of Danny and Maria leaving the NYPD he eventually supports his son moving up to Sgt.

Danny and Maria are getting ready to move to Boston so that Elena can start a new school in the fall and Frank is not too thrilled about it and he didn't want to help Danny make Sgt. because he doesn't want to lose his 2 best detectives. Danny admitted that he wants to make rank. Once Frank is over the hurt of Danny and Maria leaving the NYPD he eventually supports his son moving up to Sgt. Frank talks to the captain at the 9-7 and puts in a good word for Danny and Maria. One week later Danny and Maria move into their new house. Elena has her own room. Later that night Maria and Danny were eating dinner when suddenly he got a call from his dad to apologize for not supporting him. The next day Maria and Danny went to enroll Elena into to her new school that she'll start in September. After they enrolled their daughter into her new school they went to get her some school supplies. On September 5th, Elena started her first day of 1st grade they took pictures of her and sent them to the family group. After school they took Elena to get her some ice cream to celebrate and they asked Elena how her day was and she said I had the best day ever I made 2 new friends today. After they got home they faced time Erin and the whole family and talked to them. Later that night after Elena was in bed asleep Danny and Maria were talking about having another child and she said yes and wants to have twins and I want to name them Simone and Paris. Danny says he loves those names. The next day Sean and Jack came to Boston to see Maria Danny and little sis Elena while they were getting ready for their new church. Jack knocked on the door and Maria answered the door and was surprised to see her sons Jack and Sean. Danny walked into the living room to see his sons there and he gave them a hug then Elena walked in and was so happy to see her two older brothers and ran up to them and gave them the biggest hug ever. When they got to church Danny and Maria was surprised to see his family there that they showed up. The preacher talked about grace and love. After church was over the family went to dinner and talked about life. Later that night Erin,Nicki,Eddie,Jamie,Jack and Sean stayed the night at Danny and Maria's house where they watched a family movie. After the movie was over Nicki went to sleep in Elena's room while Eddie and Jamie slept in the guest room and Sean and Jack went into their room while Erin slept on the couch. The next morning Danny makes everyone breakfast and they said grace. After breakfast was over they all got ready for the day and headed out to the trampoline park so Elena could play. Later on in the day, Erin,Eddie,Nicki and Jamie headed back to New York so they could back to work on Monday.

Chapter 5: Maria is pregnant

Maria and Danny baby will be arriving Christmas Day 2025 and her name is Holly Eve she will be born into the Catholic Faith

Maria took a pregnancy test on Wednesday afternoon and was so happy. Once Danny got home from work he was in for a surprise. Maria told Danny she was pregnant and he was over the moon.The next day they had a gift for their daughter Elena it was a t-shirt that says big sister and she was so happy. Later on the week Danny, Maria and Elena drove back to New York to surprise the family and then during Sunday dinner, Maria and Danny made the announcement that she's expecting a child coming December 25 to be exact and the family was so excited that they celebrated with wine. The next day Maria calls Sgt. Baker at 9-7 precinct to let her know that she and Danny will be taking time off in November to get ready to welcome a baby and Sgt. Baker told her congratulations and gave her the okay for her and Danny to take as much time as they need to spend with their growing family. Maria made an appointment to go see her OBGYN. The next day Maria and Danny went to her OBGYN doctor to see how far along she was. The next day Danny and Maria went to the store to get some things for Baby Holly's room when thy got done they went to go pick up Elena and Erin up from her job. After they picked their daughter and sister all of them went to Frank's house to eat dinner and talk about plans for when baby Holly arrives. They decided to have the baby at St.Victors Hospital and then in January, Maria and Danny will head back to Boston so Elena can go back to school. After they got done eating Erin put Elena so Danny and Maria could go to sleep but they stayed up to watch TV until she fell asleep in his arms. The next day Danny surprises Maria with breakfast in bed and he gave her a note that says To Maria the best mama to kids Elena, Jack and Sean I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you I love you so much Love your boyfriend Daniel. Maria was so happy to receive a sweet message from Danny. Maria and Danny spend the rest of the morning laying in bed spending time together. Maria was 20 weeks pregnant when she and Danny went to her doctor's appointment. Later on that night at family dinner Maria showed the family ultrasound pictures of the baby and all of them say we can't wait to meet Baby Holly Eve. Maria went to bed a little early so Danny kissed her goodnight and then he put Elena to bed and she says i love you Daddy thank you for making mama so happy I love you too my sweet daughter.

Chapter 6: Maria's baby shower

Today was the day for Maria to have her gender reveal for the baby that is about to come into this world so Erin,Eddie and Nicki got everything set up while Frank,Henry and Jamie got the balloons set up for the party while Danny and Maria were getting ready for the event they were so excited to see everything come together. Around 2 it was time for the baby shower to begin so the family started to guess what Maria was having and some guessed a girl and the others guessed a boy. Around 6 the family started doing presents for Maria and Danny and she got some new clothes from Erin and Eddie. Frank got the baby some pacifiers and some blankets, some time later it was time for them to do the gender reveal when the pop the balloon it was a girl and everyone was so happy and they were so ready to meet the baby and that's when Erin asked when is the baby due and Maria said April 13th is the expected date but she might come early which will be a blessing. After the party was over Maria went to go lay down and Jamie gave Danny some advice about just being there for his kids and supporting them in every way he can. Frank and Henry also gave Danny advice about treating Maria right and helping her out with the newborn and shared their own experiences. The next day Maria and Danny went to her final checkup before Baby Holly Eve arrives next month and she was at 30 weeks so the doctor told Maria not to be lifting anything heavy until 3 months after the baby is born. After they got done at the doctors office Danny and Maria went home to get packed up just in case she has to go to the hospital early and Elena is going to stay at Jamie and Eddie house until after the baby is born.

Chapter 7: Maria gives Birth to Holly Eve

It was about 2am when Maria woke Danny up and told him it was time for their baby to come. Danny made a call to Dr Simone and told her that Maria was in labor so the doctor told Danny to take his girlfriend to the Labor and Delivery and she'll be there when they got there. Once Maria and Danny arrived he went to check her in and the nurse got her into a hospital room it was time to Maria to deliver her baby. In the process Danny texted the group chat and let them know that Maria was in labor and Holly Eve was on the way. Around 3:30am Maria was dilated 10 cm and it time for her to push, a few seconds later Maria delivered a beautiful baby girl named Holly Eve Baez-Reagan at 5 pounds 8 ounces Danny was so excited to hold their baby girl for the first time. Afterward Maria video chatted the family so they could meet Baby Holly Eve and they were so happy to meet their niece and granddaughter and Erin says my niece is so precious I can't wait to hold her. The next day Jamie and Eddie went to meet their beautiful niece and brought Maria and Danny some dinner and they stayed the night and had a good time. After a few days Maria was discharged from the hospital so Danny and Jamie helped and get baby Holly in her car seat and Maria sat in the backseat. When they arrived at Frank's house, Eddie helped get Holly out of the car and Sean and Jack came to help their mom by getting the baby diapers out of the car and brought it inside. Once everyone got in, Maria handed Holly to Frank so he could hold his granddaughter. Later on Maria went to take a nap because she was tired so Danny went downstairs to discuss plan to dedicated Baby Holly into the catholic faith and the family agreed.

Chapter 8: Easter Sunday and The Proposal

The morning of Easter Sunday, Maria and Danny got Holly Eve and Elena ready for church. Danny and Maria met the rest of the family at St. Patrick's Church to baptize ⛪🌊👼 Elena and dedicate Holly Eve so today was a special Resurrection Sunday. First they baptized Elena and then dedicated Holly Eve into the Catholic Faith and they praised God read scripture and celebrated the resurrection of Christ Jesus. After church was over the family took Easter photos then Erin and Nikki went to cook while Jamie and Eddie prepared the dessert and around 4pm they said the Easter prayer and talked about their favorite Easter traditions. After dinner Danny and Jamie went outside to set up the lights,balloons and candles. Erin put the blindfold around her sister Maria's eyes and brought her outside and Danny was on one knee and he popped the question Will you be my wife 💍and Maria said yes and Eddie and Erin gave their sister a big hug. Frank gave his daughter in law a hug and Henry gave his granddaughter-in law a hug. After the party was over everyone stayed at Frank's house for the night.

Chapter 9: Danny's birthday

It was the day of Danny's birthday and his wife Maria had set up some balloons and Elena and Holly Eve made a birthday card for their dad and it said Happy Birthday Dad, Thank you for being the best father ever to us. Love your daughters Holly Eve. Once everything was set up, Danny came downstairs and was surprised that Maria,Holly and Elena did this for him. Danny gave Maria some love and spent the day watching their daughters playing together. Later that evening the family went to Frank's house to celebrate for Danny's birthday and they had dinner, cake for dessert and gifts. Erin took Elena and Holly Eve to bed and read them both a story while Danny and Maria talked to Frank about the wedding coming up on October 14 and they both want to get married at St Patrick's Church and they all talked about who they wanted to invite.

Chapter 10: Maria is expecting

Summary:

I can't wait to share the preparation for Danny and Maria's upcoming wedding on Tuesday October 14th
There will be a lot coming up with the wedding 💒💍
Bridal Shower will be in the next chapter coming out September 1st 2025.

Notes:

Maria and Danny are expecting a baby due date February 14th 2026 and I do have some names picked out so if it's a girl Madison "Maddie" Paige Baez Reagan and if its a boy Daniel "Danny" Fitzgerald Baez Reagan Jr.

One Saturday morning Maria went to take a pregnancy test and it came back positive and she was so happy and couldn't wait to tell her husband Danny and the rest of the family at Sunday dinner. The next day Maria, Danny and their daughters went to church and meet the rest of the family where the pastor spoke on love and after church the family went back to Frank's house and had a lovely Bible study. Around 7pm Danny and the family had Sunday dinner and talked about the week ahead and then Maria had a special announcement and she said Danny and I are expecting a baby. Everyone was so excited even Elena and Holly Eve was excited they were going to getting a new sibling. Danny said to Maria im so excited to have another baby. Erin asked Maria when the baby was due and she said February 2026. Jamie and Eddie were also excited to have a new edition to the family. The family celebrated with cake and ice cream. The next day Danny, Maria and their kids went out shopping for new clothes and new toy for Elena and Holly Eve. Later that evening Maria and Danny were putting the girls to bed and they said their prayers. Two days later Maria and Danny took Elena and Holly Eve to Erin's house so they could go School supply shopping for Elena. A few days later Danny and Maria went out on a date and celebrated with Pizza and Wine. Over the next few days Danny and Maria have been doing Bible study with their daughters at Frank's house and just sharing how God has been moving in their lives.

Chapter 11: Maria's Bridal Shower

Today was the day of Maria's Bridal shower and Erin,Nicky Eddie. They brought gifts like towels, decorations, appliances, colorful lights for Elena and Holly Eve's room. Maria was so happy that her sisters Erin and Eddie, her niece Nicky.After the bridal shower Maria went back home and was greeted by her husband Danny and their two kids Holly Eve and Elena. After church the family went back to Frank's and had Sunday dinner where Maria said grace. After dinner was done Maria and Danny went to put their daughters down for bed and they went to go and watch a movie before they went to bed. The next day Erin took Elena and Holly Eve to the store so they could buy something for their mom and dad.
