Chapter Text

Kitchen

It was a day just like any other, Cosmo was waiting in the kitchen- Again. Which time was it? Right- the 21st time. Sprouts late once again. What’s he even doing this late? He promised not to be late anymore! Ugh.. maybe another “main meeting” but he asked dandy and he said that there weren’t any main meetings… this month or the others where sprout stood him up. I mean my god- he even finished baking cookies and giving them out to the toons that passed by before sprout came! It was getting annoying by now.

He heard hurried footsteps- running maybe? Sprout always ran to him after being late for god knows how long. He looked at the entryway, noticing a hunched over and panting sprout. He looked super tired… normally he wouldn’t be even if he ran a marathon! What was it that he was doing for so long?

S: “S-sorry… hah.. Cosmo… I was.. busy… another main meeting…!”

He hurriedly tried to explain himself- even when Cosmo knew that he was lying. There weren’t any main meetings for a while now… but Cosmo didn’t know that- right…?

C: “it’s fine.. just.. wanna get started now?”

He asked gently, moving over to help sprout steady himself. He helped sprout up, no longer hunching over himself while panting.

..what’s that? Is that-

A hickey.

That’s a fucking hickey.

No.

No way.

C: “..Sprout, bend down a bit for me?”

He asked sweetly, needing to make sure he saw that correctly.

S: “huh? Sure-“

Sprout bent down so that his face was at eye level with Cosmo. He smelled like… lavender. That calming scent that Astro used. He pulled Sprout a bit closer, under the pretext of kissing him. But suddenly he pulled sprouts scarf down- revealing the other’s neck.

Full of hickeys.

He didn’t leave those- Sprout hadn’t been intimate with him for a while now.

Sprout was cheating on him and he knew damn well with who he was.

C: “What’s this?”

He asked dangerously, his voice low. He already knew the answer but he needed to hear it from Sprout.

S: “I-it’s- it’s not-“

C: “DON’T LIE TO ME SEEDLY!”

He yelled angrily, his voice echoing through the empty kitchen. Sprout visibly flinched at Cosmos sudden outburst he couldn’t get out of this now.

S:”I…I.. I mean…”

He stuttered over his words, trying to think of the right thing to say. Nothing sounded good. But he knew that. He couldn’t escape this.. not with how Cosmo was staring at him.

C: “you’ve been cheating on me.”

It wasn’t a question, it was a statement. Snd it was correct, Sprout was indeed cheating. Cosmo froze, his body shaking with sobs.
But he couldn’t let them out now..

C: “we’re fucking over Seedly”

Sprout winced at that. Cosmo never used sprouts first name!

S: “w-wait Cosmo please-“

He tried to explain himself but Cosmo already grabbed his friendship bracelet and threw it at sprout. Immediately storming off afterwards- waving Sprout alone in the now empty kitchen.

He messed up didn’t he? He didn’t want to lose Cosmo just like that..

BACK WITH COSMO

He couldn’t believe it, Sprout really cheated on him. With Astro at that! Astros already with Dandy. Did Astro cheat on Dandy- wait, stupid question. If Sprout cheated on Cosmo with Astro, then Astro cheated on Dandy with Sprout.

Was Dandy even aware of this? Was he kept in the dark by Astro? God, he probably was. Astro may not look like it but he was very sneaky. Probably from his high stealth. He noticed Astro sneaking into the kitchen to grab some cookies on multiple occasions but never spoke up about it.

God- he had to tell Dandy. Sure! He was… manipulative to say the least but he never did anything to Cosmo. Maybe cause Sprout kept Cosmo away from Dandy most of the time but whatever.. maybe Dandy was actually a nice guy!

Or maybe he was an asshole but who was he to judge? He couldn’t necessarily leave him in the dark… he had to know.

So he started walking to Dandys room. To his relief Sprout didn’t follow him. Dandy was… special to say the least. Main mascot and everything but under all that he could be… toxic? Nice? He couldn’t quite describe it. He was even dreading just telling Dandy.

But god he had to. Astro couldn’t get away with this.. and, well.. Sprout. But whatever- dwelling on it won’t make it better. Just.. live in the moment and not the past.

He stood outside of Dandys door, sighing deeply before knocking.

D: “…who?”

A deep voice rang out, opening the door with a snarl- that was quickly replaced by something softer once he saw Cosmo.

D: “Ah, Cosmo. Come in”

He stepped aside and let Cosmo enter, much to his relief. He took a step inside, watching as Dandy closed the door. He hadn’t been in Dandy’s room before.. it wasn’t that bad. Pretty cozy even.

D: “so, what do you need?”

He turned to face Dandy, his expression sorrowful. And this didn’t go unnoticed by Dandy- but he didn’t comment.

C: “..You’re with… Astro, right?”

D: “yes, why?”

Cosmo grimaced at that, it made breaking the news all the more awkward. At least Dandy knew that Cosmo wasn’t one to lie! ..maybe he even had a soft spot after all the times that Cosmo brought him cookies while he was working..? God- calm down. You have to break the news! Just… deep breaths.

C: “Dandy, Astros cheating on you… with Sprout.”

He spoke seriously, looking Dandy in the eyes.

D: “..Aren’t you and Sprout together?”

C: “We were.”

“Were”? That’s.. shocking- at least to Dandy. The two were practically joint at the hip! ..then that means Cosmo didn’t lie.

D: “are you-“

C: “I’m sure.”

Cosmo interrupted, clearly being serious.

D: “…sit down on the bed, I’ll be back.”

He commanded, pointing to the neatly made bed in the corner. Cosmo nodded and walked over to the bed, watching as Dandy called Astro over to his room.

..the breakup was… definitely messier then his and Sprouts. But Dandy did break up with Astro in the end- ushering him out of his room. Cosmo froze as Dandy suddenly walked over to him, his pupils dilating before returning to normal once Dandy sat down on the bed.

C: “..You alright? That was… messier then me and Sprouts”

Dandy sighed deeply, clinching his face in his hands

D: “..I’m fine, thank you for telling me, Cosmo.”

Cosmo nodded, the two of them shared the same problem- about their past lovers. The same burden, and that brought them a bit closer.

The room was awfully quiet, the tension palpable. Dandy was clearly thinking about something… and knowing him Cosmo assumed that he was plotting revenge. He prepared himself for the worst- but nothing came.

He looked over at Dandy, who had reached into his nightstand and pulled out a… Capsule? Filled with a murky black substance. Was it.. a substitute for alcohol? It looked… weird.

D: “..How do you feel about revenge?”

Cosmo froze at that, looking over at Dandy and looking as the other gulped down the black substance. If he didn’t know any better he’d assume that it was some kind of new juice. But seeing how Dandys eyes briefly flashed with a red glint in his iris and how his scleras turned a light red for a second before turning back to normal- he knew that the substance was something else, something weird..

C: “..Revenge?”

He repeated hesitantly, glancing over at the capsule before looking back at Dandy.

D: “Yeah, y’know.. getting back at our exes?”

Dandy replied nonchalantly, almost as if the idea was normal to him.

C: “..And how would we do that…?”

D: “Easy- we get together.”

Cosmo almost choked on his spit at that, Dandy said it so nonchalantly that he was taken aback. He and Dandy get together? ..for revenge? Well.. the idea didn’t deter him.. but he wasn’t sure if he could fully trust Dandy. But the idea of revenge sounded too appealing. He watched as Dandy gulped down the rest of the liquid in the capsule and tossed it in the trash, glancing over at Cosmo expectantly.

C: “..well.. I’m not opposed to it but how would that work?”

D: “We do all the couple shit snd make them jealous”

Dandy replied as if it were that easy.

C: “And what after that? Do we just go back to them once we make them jealous?”

Dandy frowned at that, looking away with that red glint in his irises again. Cosmo wasn’t going to comment.. it was too creepy.

D: “no- fuck I mean-“

Dandy stuttered over his words, rubbing his temples.

C: “fine.. but don’t you abandon me once you get your precious Astro jealous.”

Dandy froze, looking over at Cosmo. He actually agreed? Truly? He wasn’t dreaming? ..he obviously wasn’t gonna leave Cosmo after he made Astro jealous. He did have an undeniable soft spot for Cosmo.. maybe even a little crush that he pushed away?

D: “..well then.. let us shake on it”

He reached out his hand to Cosmo and tossed his shock- Cosmo actually shook his hand.

This would be a new start for both of them.

And maybe for the rest of Gardenview too..

But one thing was for sure- he would enjoy this.

Back with Sprout and Astro

A: “I.. how’d he find out..?”

Astro mumbled to himself as he walked around his room absentmindedly. Sprout was sitting on the bed, his head in his hands.

S: “..I was late to our baking sessions for too much.. and he smelled.. lavender on me”

Astro froze, looking over at Sprout in shock. Was he serious? Sprout was one of the most careful toons at Gardenview! He wasn’t one to forget those things.

A: “..You.. forgot..?”

He asked softly, walking over to Sprout and sitting down. Sprout grumbled at the reminder, it only serving to make him angry at himself.

S: “Don’t remind me…”

He spoke with a groan, only moving his hands further into his head to muffle the noise.

A: “..Do we.. still try it out…?”

He asked softly, reaching out one of his four hands to rest on sprouts knee.

S: “..Is it right for us to try? We ruined everything..”

He spoke softly, his voice carrying a hint of melancholy. It.. it was just a hook up right?

A: “..if you want to.. we can.”

He replied reassuringly, his hand tightening its hold.

S: “..I.. need to make things right with Cosmo.. I.. I can’t…”

He replied, his voice cracking. Astro frowned but understood and didn’t push it.

S: “..thanks for.. everything..”

He spoke softly, getting up and walking over to the door, opening it and walking out- leaving Astro alone.

They ruined everything, didn’t they?

Chapter Text

C: “…so… how.. how exactly do we do this..?”

He asked quietly, looking over at Dandy in the silent room. It felt… stuffy to say the least. Like.. suffocating stuffy. Maybe cause of what just happened..?

D: “..Well… we go out in public and do all the couple stuff? Make sure they see?”

Dandy replied as if it were that easy. It- it wasn’t easy at all! He wasn’t… well.. he was kinda into Dandy.. a puppy crush was present. But I mean… it’s just for revenge.. it won’t turn into anything serious.

C: “…Do you have any ideas?”

D: “Yes, actually.. are you willing to listen?”

C: “yeah.”

  Another location (a few days later)

C: “So I gotta pretend?”

D: “yeah, like fake whimper or something”

Dandy replied with a hum, shrugging as he leaned on the balcony railing.

D: “You can still back out if you want to”

C: “no- let’s... let’s do this”

Dandy nodded and moved toward Cosmo. Grabbing a makeup pallet

D: “Stay still, I’ll make the fake hickeys now..”

He grabbed a brush, about to start his work when he felt Cosmos hand stopping him.

C: “..I know this sounds weird but wouldn’t it be better to make actual hickeys? Ones that last so I don’t have to remake them everyday?”

He spoke softly, averting his gaze from Dandy. Oh god… he couldn’t possibly be this cute. Dandy- seeing no reason to decline he wanted to mark that cake roll - accepted. He put the makeup pallet that he borrowed from glisten back in his bag and moved closer to Cosmo.

D: “Are you sure about this..?”

C: “..yeah, I am”

With that Dandy sank his teeth into Cosmos shoulder, sucking on the mark afterward to give it a purplish tint- likely a bruise forming. He kept biting and sucking Cosmos neck- making the pastry let out sweet whimpers. God, it was music to his ears. He kept biting and sucking- when one of his marks accidentally broke skin he sucked the blood away and left a soft kiss on it as an apology.

Cosmos whined and whimpered, it seemed like he was enjoying this..

From the entryway to the balcony, he could see Sprout- staring at them wide eyed. Basically fuming with jealousy. His pupils were dilated as he stared at Dandy in anger.

Dandy noticed Cosmos gaze wandering snd but down a bit harder- but still gentle- to get his attention back. It worked, Cosmos even whimpered In result. Dandy was relishing in the sounds that the pastry was making- it made him want the other all the more.

He eventually pulled back, staring at the marks with a sense of accomplishment.

D: “You were so jealous of Sprouts hickeys that you had to come beg me for your own, hm?”

Dandy teased playfully, knowing full well that Sprout was staring at them and silently fuming. Cosmo was supposed to be his- not Dandys.

C: “s-shut up…”

Cosmo muttered out embarrassedly, looking down at Dandy with a glare.

D: “How about I give you some more in another place…”

Cosmo blushed furiously, lowering his head in embarrassment. Dandy smirked, leaning closer to Cosmo.

That’s it- he couldn’t take it anymore. Sprout stormed off, silently fuming.

Cosmo let out a sigh of relief which was quickly replaced by confusion once he realized that Dandy wasn’t letting him go.

D: “Offer still stands~”

He speaking in a teasing hum, his breath ghosting over Cosmos neck. Cosmo involuntarily shivered and pushed Dandy away with a pout. Dandy chuckled but didn’t push further- Cosmo wasn’t on the bold side in his opinion and he didn’t have a problem with it.

D: “Still… I didn’t expect you to ask me to actually bite you..”

He spoke with a low hum, crossing his hands behind his back.

C: “It’s easier than putting makeup on everyday.”

Cosmo shrugged, it wasn’t a big deal to him really.

D: “Whatever you say, sweetheart~”

Dandy replied in a hum, moving closer to Cosmo and grabbing his hands- intertwining their fingers together. Cosmo blushed intensely- he was flustered even. Sprout never used pet-names on him.. well unless “Cos” counted. Normally it was just his name, he brushed it off as Sprout being embarrassed but he was so wrong.

Being called… that … felt so right

Maybe he and Dandy weren’t a bad couple?

Wait- no. They’re just.. pretending after all! No use catching feelings now! Dandy’s only doing this for revenge.. and so is he not really but he won’t admit that . Dandy hummed a low tune as they walked through Gardenview- stopping at the big tree in the middle.

D: “I remember planting this.. it’s been long hasn’t it?”

He spoke softly, his tone carrying an odd hint of nostalgia.

C: “You bet it has! I remember when I was first introduced to the show- it was so chaotic!”

Cosmo and Dandy laughed it off, walking to the behind of the tree and up the stairs- deciding to rest under the tree. Just so happens that there was a picnic blanket, not that they needed it but it was nice, added to the atmosphere even. Both of them sat down, looking up at the sky that was far above them, it may have been sunny but they didn’t care. Dandy decided to pull Cosmo onto his lap, and to his surprise and relief - Cosmo leaned into him, staring up at the sky.

Maybe he’d bring Cosmo here later on in the day, the night sky looks amazing from here after all. Perfect for stargazing oh but he would be looking at other stars . Cosmo turned to look over at Dandy, giving him a soft peck on the cheek. Now that was unexpected.. Cosmo being affectionate first? He can’t say that he didn’t like it. However him doing but that out of nowhere made the flower embarrassed- his petals closing in to cover his face from the embarrassment. Cosmo let out a soft giggle, his hands gently prying Dandy’s petals away as he placed a soft, fleeting kiss on the other’s lips. Pulling away and leaning back against Dandy’s chest afterwards.

God- the pastry was too perfect.

Dandy decides to let himself get lost in the moment, relaxing against the tree bark behind him and resting his chin on Cosmos shoulder. Almost nuzzling into him.

Thank god it was a Sunday and everyone was hanging out in their rooms or resting, if anyone saw them like this he’d explode from embarrassment. Except if it was Astro or Sprout- he wants the two to suffer .

C: “Sky’s nice isn’t it? I’ve always focused on the night and never took the chance to focus on the sunlight…”

D: “Well.. you could always come to my Garden- we could have some fun together.”

He replied innocently, his words having no sinister meaning behind them. Cosmo thought for a moment before replying in a soft tone.

C: “I’d like that”

He stared at the ceiling, shifting in his bed as he struggled to fall asleep. Cosmo was supposed to be his- not Dandy’s. It was unfair! Cruel even. He didn’t mean to cheat on him.. it… just happened.

Cosmo couldn’t be happy with Dandy… right?

No- he couldn’t be.. it was all just an act! To get his attention! That had to be it.. 

But…  today.. at the balcony.. it seemed so real. Pft- the hickeys probably weren’t real tho! Hah- it’s all just a ploy to get his attention!

He shifted and looked at the wall, shutting his eyes and trying desperately to drift off to sleep.

Oh Cosmo… what have you done to me?

ASTRO POV

Again… Sprout was dreaming of Cosmo- AGAIN. Aren’t they together now? No- Sprout needed to “think” about it..

Well.. nothing a little magic can’t fix, right? No.. that’s wrong… but the least he could do is change Sprout’s dream a bit…

Sprout’s the one who messed it up- not him. Now both of them are alone! So maybe they should just try it..

He sighed and adjusted Sprout’s dream so that Cosmo was no longer in it, instead he placed himself in it.

Its justified. It’s normal.
… But is it really?

NEW DAY

Cosmo woke up with a groan- strangely he felt way more satisfied with his sleep then ever. He rubbed his eyes slightly and looked around- wait.. this wasn’t his room?

He looked back at the bed and noticed Dandy clinging to him- still asleep.. or maybe faking it.

He blushed lightly however he quickly shook his head and brushed it off. They were just doing all of this to get back at their cheating ex’s!

...But he wouldn’t mind if it.. wasn’t just for revenge..

He sighed and looked over at the.. strangely bright alarm clock- it was already 10 am?? God- he forgot to make breakfast for everyone! But he probably won’t be able to make breakfast for everyone all alone.. and besides- someone else can do it! He needs to learn to be a bit selfish…

He turned back to Dandy’s sleeping form, a smile forming on his face. He shifted slightly and shook Dandy awake- to which the flower slowly opened his eyes with a groan.

D: …Five more minutes..

C: We don’t have time for “five more minutes”.. it’s already ten!

He chuckled slightly Dandy looked kinda cute when he was tired. The flower groaned and reluctantly let the pastry go. Cosmo quickly sat up and pulled Dandy up alongside him.

C: C’mon.. you have to eat something..

D: Ugh… Can’t I just eat you…?

Dandy groaned, still apparently sleepy… the lack of a filter probably gives it away. Cosmo paused- did Dandy mean cannibalism since he was a pastry or-.. OKAY WE WONT DWELL ON IT!

He looked away (still blushing) and replied;

C: …No.. what do you want to eat..? I can go make it…

Dandy hummed- slightly more awake now- and thought for a moment. He had a private kitchen since he was the “star of the show”.. it was stocked up too. 

D: …whatever you wanna make..

He groaned and sat up on the bed which he wanted to pull Cosmo onto and just sleep the day away. Cosmo nodded and got up- maybe pancakes could do? He was about to exit Dandy’s room when the flower pulled him back.

D: I have a private kitchen… use that…

Cosmo paused and nodded, he looked around the dark room and groaned- where was the light switch? He fumbled around the wall before finding it and flipping it on. He closed his eyes before opening them again- Oh god the brightness.

Oh! The kitchen! There it was! He walked over to where the kitchen was and began to work on breakfast- lunch? Whatever.. it didn’t matter.

…it was oddly tame today.

DANDY POV

Dandy hummed and stared at the pastry- since when was he so attractive? He sighed and got up to go take a shower.

D: I’ll go take a quick shower..

C: Alright! I’ll.. continue.

He nodded and grabbed some clothes from his wardrobe- slipping into the bathroom.

SMUT STARTS HERE

Only Dandy POV

He took of his clothes, placing them in the laundry basket- he’ll take care of it later…

Stepping into the shower, he felt the warmth emitting from the water- Steam was starting to appear.

He grabbed some soap and started washing his body- but his mind started to wander.. 

Cosmo’s body.. his hips.. got he wanted him to squeeze them around his head. The pastry’s lips.. he wanted to kiss him until he was nothing but a whimpering mess.

God- everything about him… he was just so perfect..

He was starting to get excited… And it became clear by his erection. He groaned but didn’t do anything to stop it. The pastry was cute.. he closed his eyes and let him mind wander- his hand wrapping around his length.

His mind filled with images of Cosmo in different positions- laying on his bed with his legs spread.. god.. he needed that pastry..

He leaned against the showers wall as his hand began pumping- imagining it was Cosmo’s instead made him so close to the edge already. How would Cosmo sound when whimpering his name?

He groaned when he imagined Cosmo moaning out Sprout’s name instead of his. Well too bad.. Cosmo was his now.

He sped up his pumping, allowing his hips to thrust into the touch- his breathing becoming inconsistent and shallow.

How would the pastry’s mouth feel? God- he started imagining Cosmo on his knees and with his length inside his mouth. The thought alone made him cum- spraying all over his hand and the shower wall.

He huffed for a few seconds before straightening up and deciding to actually clean himself..

SMUT END HERE

BACK AT DANDY’S KITCHEN

Cosmo hummed to himself as he finished playing the pancakes- it didn’t take him long this time! Normally Sprout would tease him which made him take longer- and burn a few pancakes. But this time every single one came out perfect!

Hm.. maybe leaving Sprout was a good thing?

He’d have to wait and find out..

But right now?

Everything was okay.
