Chapter Text

Rey wasn’t at all sure what she'd expected would happen when Han brought the ship down on Takodana, but from the moment she’d stepped foot on the planet, she could tell that something was off. Nothing obvious stood out, of course – there were no blasters being pulled or lasers firing, and they’d landed far enough away from the castle up ahead that there weren’t any others too close by – but there was a tingling feeling lingering on the back of her neck that something was lurking just under the surface.
But then, Rey had to admit that she was so busy taking in all the lush green vegetation before turning her gaze to the large lake they’d landed next to, that she supposed she could have missed something, unlikely as that was. There was just so much color here – shades of greens and blues that she didn't even know existed – and she’d only dreamed of seeing water like this.
It was distracting, throwing her off guard so much that she’d almost even said yes when Han had offered to make her part of his crew. But after a second’s hesitation, she declined, remembering that she had to return to Jakku.
Kriff. She hated feeling like this. Whatever it was on this planet made her skin almost itchy with anticipation, the tightness in her stomach reminding Rey of the moment right before a sandstorm ripped its way across the ship graveyard on Jakku, leaving her stuck to wait out the storm.
She’d already been on edge for the past few days, and now all she wished was to go back to the ship. That was familiar. Safer. Even with all its flaws and half-hearted repairs and the so-called improvements Plutt and others had installed, Rey knew what to expect there.
Maybe she was imagining it, but her gut instinct had never been wrong before. There’d been more than a handful of times that the annoying little feeling in the pit of her stomach had been all that stood between her and disaster on Jakku.
But she tried to put all of that out of her mind as she followed the others up the stone steps. Getting BB-8 – and Finn – to the Resistance should be her priority right now. She couldn’t let anything – not even Han’s unexpected offer – distract her from that.
Though that might be more difficult than she expected, Rey realized when she stepped into the crowded bar – Han’s warning to not stare at anything echoing through her head – as a cacophony of noise and movement and unfamiliar scents all competing with each other slammed into her.
Oh.
The hair on the back of her neck rose, more than a bit tempted to just flee, and it didn’t help when Maz called out Han’s name, and every eye in the bar turned their direction, the place falling eerily silent for a few seconds before they all turned back to what they were doing. There was so much going on around them as she slipped into the booth with the others that Rey hardly knew where to begin.
This place was such a far cry from Jakku that it made her feel small, uncertainty creeping in the longer Han talked, and when his friend Maz started scrutinizing them, Rey squirmed in her seat, unable to keep the anxiety that was hovering just under the surface at bay.
Maybe she should have stayed on the ship with Chewie. After all, what did she know about galactic politics?
She was painfully aware of each passing second as they sat there discussing things with Maz before Finn abruptly left the booth. Unsure why he seemed so bothered, Rey followed after him, but when he confessed that he was leaving – that he’d been a stormtrooper and hadn’t been with the Resistance after all – she needed a moment to herself, far away from all this noise so that she could think.
This place, with all its noise, was far too overwhelming, and she almost sighed in relief when she found the crowd thinning as she approached a doorway that everyone else seemed to be avoiding.
For a second, she could have sworn that there was something calling to her. But then she heard it again as a strangely familiar cry beckoned her on.
Oh.
She hesitated for a moment, before she took a step forward and then another one. Maybe it was foolish, but she couldn’t keep her curiosity at bay as Rey followed her gut, slipping through the doorway and down the steps before anyone could notice. She didn’t know where she was going, but everything inside her urged her forward.
Whatever it was led her to a basement of sorts, and Rey let her instincts guide her as she walked past an assortment of openings and a few scattered objects before coming to a stop in front of a small wooden box.
Her inquisitive nature getting the better of her, Rey flipped the lid open, not sure what she expected to find, but the silver and black cylindrical object inside – some kind of weapon, perhaps – seemed vaguely familiar in a way she couldn’t explain.
Before she could ponder that, her world shifted on it’s axis, feeling unsteady as everything when dark as she was sucked into what could only be described as a vision.
Oh. Oh no…
Maz was there when the vision ended, and Rey didn’t give her the chance to finish answering the questions she’d blurted out before she fled, everything around Rey blurring as she raced up the stone steps and out of Maz’s castle. Her stomach was tight with fear, feeling almost nauseous from what she’d just seen.
Maz’s explanation of the force and the strange blade belonging to Luke Skywalker – and now her if that was to be believed – didn’t make sense. She’d heard tales of the force before. Whispers from those who’d interacted with the villagers in Tuanal and the scavenged datapads she’d hoarded in her makeshift home had given her some clue to its existence. But something as seemingly powerful as the force would want nothing to do with a scavenger from Jakku.
This was all just a big misunderstanding. Maz was wrong, that’s all, and now Rey needed to put as much space between herself and the castle as she could. Turning towards the woods, she didn’t know where her feet were taking her, all she knew was that she needed to leave.
Now.
Nothing else mattered just then. Not BB-8 or Finn or Han or Chewie or anybody.
Whatever she’d just experienced in that unsettling vision with fire and masked figures and the memory of her parents leaving her on Jakku had caused a flood of angry emotions to bubble up inside her, leaving her heart racing and feeling off-balance. Almost like she’d been out in the desert heat for far too long without any hope of water or shelter. It was beyond anything she’d ever encountered before.
Kriff. She didn’t regret saving BB-8 from the First Order, but leaving Jakku had been a huge mistake.
Rey didn’t know what she was doing here. She wanted no part of this. Not the force. Not the First Order. Not the Resistance. The strange push-and-pull of galactic politics was beyond anything she wanted to involve herself in. All she wanted was to go back to Jakku and wait for her parents, and the sooner BB-8 was safely delivered to the Resistance, the better.
Han and Finn and the others might not understand why she wanted to go back so desperately, but everything was safer on Jakku. She knew what to expect with Plutt and her fellow scavengers. They might try to steal and lie and cheat at almost every opportunity, but they were as predictable as the sun rising each morning, and in a way, it was almost comforting knowing that life there was the same day in and out, with only the occasional sandstorm and visiting traders there to disrupt her routine.
But here on Takodana –
Here she was lost. Everything felt so strange and new. Even the air was different – at once both heavier than anything she could remember experiencing and less harsh and unforgiving than Jakku – and as she hurried toward the tress, Rey noticed how the ground was spongy beneath her feet, giving an almost imperceptible bounce with each step.
If the circumstances had been any different, she might have enjoyed exploring this planet.
Picking up her pace, she swerved this way and that, the leafy plants brushing against her as she went. She barely noticed the few stray branches that snagged on her clothes or how she’d disturbed a few rocks as she veered around a boulder.
Rey uncertain where she was even going, only following the strange urging in her gut as she went deeper and deeper into the forest. But eventually, she slowed to a stop in a small clearing, her breathing harsh as a few drops of sweat trailing down her neck while she leaned against a rock to catch her breath.
There was no knowing how far into the woods she’d gone. It could have been a few meters or a few thousand. Either way, despite being well and truly lost, it didn’t feel like enough.
Whatever it was that was urging her to move was still there, still as loud and persistent as when the vision had ended, and just when she thought she might be okay to start running again, the indignant beep of a droid made Rey glance over in surprise. Great. For some foolish reason BB-8 had followed her into the forest.
“What are you doing here?” Rey demanded as she scowled at the orange-and-white droid. “Never mind. Go back to the ship. Now.”
BB-8 protested at that, but she didn’t have time to respond before the sharp sound of ships flying low overhead filled the air, closely followed by the sound of weapons firing. Glancing up, she could barely make out the design of the ships through the trees, but her gut told her everything she needed to know.
The First Order was here.
Kriff.
Unsure why she was doing so, Rey swiftly turned, moving in the direction of the noise. BB-8 followed close behind, the noise of the fight ahead growing louder with each step, and she must not have been as far into the woods as she thought when it was only a minute or two later that she came to an abrupt halt just inside the tree line.
Watching in horror as Maz’s castle was attacked, Rey knew there wasn’t time to panic, but the pit of dread in her stomach only grew, a strange, heavy feeling weighing on her as she debated what to do. She’d felt something like this only a handful of times before – the last time being two nights before she’d encountered BB-8.
It had scared her then, and it was scaring her now.
She had to get out of here. It wasn’t safe.
“Go to the ship, BB-8. Find Han and Chewie,” Rey said, spotting a few stormtroopers moving in their direction as she tried to formulate a plan for how any of them were to escape. BB-8 beeped in agreement, seeming to sense the danger, and Rey watched him roll away before reaching for the blaster Han had given her.
It was awkward firing the thing – she was far more comfortable wielding her staff – but that wasn’t going to be of any use from this distance. Letting off a few shots, Rey was simultaneously horrified and pleased that she’d managed to hit her target. But she didn’t have time to think about the trooper she’d just killed, or how she thought she might be sick, as she turned and ran in the opposite direction BB-8 had gone.
She wasn’t careful as she went, running more on instinct than anything else as she lost herself in all the green. With any luck, the First Order would be thrown off the droid’s trail enough for him to escape.
She really should have stayed on Jakku.
The moment his boots touched the surface of Takodana, Kylo came to a halt as a sudden sharpness in his chest took him by surprise.
What the –
For a brief moment when he’d spotted that all-too-familiar heap of junk parked near Maz’s castle as his ship approached, Kylo had been concerned that he might encounter ghosts from his past life, but now he had something else to worry about entirely.
She was here. On this planet.
He’d known that she would be, of course. All the reports had indicated that the droid had arrived safely at Maz’s with the rogue stormtrooper, the girl, and his good-for-nothing father – a good-for-nothing smuggler.
But actually sensing her presence, well, that was a entirely different matter. From the moment the girl had been mentioned, Kylo had known that he needed to find her. He’d never been more certain about anything. And now –
Now it was all he could think about.
The stormtroopers could search for the droid, and if they had any sense, they’d take out the smuggling scum while they were at it. He had something far more important to hunt down.
Her.

Chapter Text
Her legs were beginning to ache from running, but Rey was reluctant to slow down, ducking under low-hanging tree branches and avoiding a few large rocks as she went deeper and deeper into the woods. Pausing for even a moment felt too dangerous just then with how the noise from the First Order’s attack followed close behind her.
It was impossible to ignore the growing weight in her stomach, dread creeping in a bit more with each step. She should have known that something bad was going to happen if the strange, heavy feeling that had been weighing on her since they’d arrived was anything to go by.
Really, if she were honest with herself, she hadn’t had a good feeling about anything since leaving Jakku.
After a few more meters slipped by, and the burning in her lungs only grew more intense with every passing second, Rey finally came to a halt in a small clearing. The trees were older here, the branches high above blocking out all but the tiniest hints of the sky, and the whole space might have been oddly quiet if it wasn’t for her labored breathing that practically echoed through the woods.
If the circumstances were different, she might enjoy exploring her surroundings – she couldn’t remember ever seeing anything so wonderfully green and alive as the trees here – but there wasn’t time for that now.
Taking another deep breath as she leaned against one of the small outcropping of rocks interspersed among the trees, Rey cringed, painfully aware that if anyone were to be nearby, they’d be able to spot her right away with all the noise she was making.
Great. Rey didn’t know how, but things kept going from bad to worse.
She’d thought she’d been in good shape – scavenging, after all, required a certain level of athleticism if one had any hope of surviving for very long – but the dry, desert air of Jakku hadn’t prepared her for all the humidity here, and now that the adrenaline pumping through her system was starting to wear off, she realized she needed a moment to gather herself before she started moving again.
Not too long though, because she’d left enough of a trail when she’d started running that it wouldn’t surprise her if a few First Order stormtroopers tried to follow her.
Hopefully it’d been enough for BB-8 to escape.
A slight snapping noise behind Rey only a moment or two later was the only warning she had that she wasn’t alone anymore. Her stomach dropped, pulse racing with adrenaline and fear and a familiar feeling that she couldn’t quite place, as she whirled around, defensively raising the blaster Han had given her.
Please just let it be an animal.
It wasn’t.
And as much as she wished it was just a figment of her overactive imagination, Rey knew it wasn’t that either as a large masked figure appeared through the trees. A wave of fear slammed into Rey, realizing he looked just like the figure from her vision, and she tried to ignore the strange pressure building in her chest as she instinctively fired off a shot.
It missed, though; the figure dressed all in black easily deflecting it with a wave of his hand as if it were no more than a falling leaf. That didn’t stop her from firing off three more shots in quick succession, though, trying not to panic when he brushed them away with a few quick movements of his lightsaber.
Kriff. Rey knew she was in danger now.
It left the air in the clearing feeling suddenly thick, almost electric with tension, and the building pressure made it hard for her to catch her breath. Rey was at once aware of everything and nothing as she tried to take a step back, but her legs were unwilling to cooperate just then.
“What do we have here?” the figure drawled in a low tone, the obvious voce modulator in the helmet giving it an ominous sort of crackle as the tall figure slipped between the trees, moving with steady, determined steps. The hiss of the red lightsaber he wielded, with it’s strange cross blade, only added to his threatening presence.
Damn.
Rey didn’t respond, not that she would have known what to say, as she watched him close the distance between them. She needed to flee. Now. Before it was too late.
When he took another step toward her, Rey again tried to move, fear clawing at her stomach while all of her instincts screamed at her to flee, but something – some strange force – kept her rooted to the spot, helpless to only able to watch the masked figure draw even closer, one of his hands outstretched as if he were the one holding her in place with an invisible force.
Not the force, though. Probably. Hopefully.
“Look at you. A little scavenger from Jakku,” he taunted, a heady sort of energy filling the clearing as he slowly circled around her. “All alone in the woods. A shame your little friends aren’t here to save you.”
His words were mocking, and Rey gritted her teeth, resisting the urge to lash out at him even as she glared at him. How did he know she was from Jakku?
“Nothing to say?” he taunted, giving his head a little shake as he came to a stop in front of her. “Pity. I’d have expected more of a fight from the girl I’ve heard so much about.”
“What do you want?” Rey asked with a snarl, unable to keep quiet any longer as she struggled to push back against whatever it was that was holding her in place.
“I thought we could have a little… chat,” he said, drawing out the last word. She had a sinking feeling that he wanted far more than just a simple chat. “And you can start by telling me where the droid is.”
“No.”
She hadn’t betrayed BB-8’s trust back on Jakku when Plutt had offered her enough rations to last almost a whole season, and she wasn’t going to start betraying the droid now.
“No?” he repeated with a scoff. “No is a dangerous word, Scavenger.”
His lightsaber flickered off before he slipped it back on to his belt, and if the circumstances were anything else, Rey might have been relieved with the weapon put away, but something told her that things weren’t over. Not by a long shot.
“Stop this,” Rey spat out, straining as she tried to raise the blaster back up so she could get off one more shot, but it refused to budge.
“We won’t be needing that,” he said, ignoring what she was saying as his gloved hand brushed against her, slipping the blaster out of her grip before tossing it off to the side. “Be a shame if someone were to get hurt before I was done with you.”
Her stomach tightened at the brief contact, a shiver going through her as fear mixed with an emotion she couldn’t quite describe. It didn’t help with how the air around them seemed to grow thicker, more intense with each passing second. And when his hand brushed against her arm once more, Rey couldn’t explain why but she had the strangest urge to lean into the warm leather of his gloves.
But that was a ridiculous thought. He was a monster. A creature in a mask.
She needed to get free. Flee from his hold. Head right back to the ship and demand that Han return her to Jakku the moment BB-8 was handed off to the Resistance.
“Please. Please, let me go. I… I don’t know…” Rey trailed off, unsure why she was even bothering. Something told her that he wasn’t going to just let her leave that easily. Not with how he was staring at her so intensely that even with the mask he wore, she could practically feel his gaze burning into her skin.
“Hmm, and why should I listen to you? What can a scavenger from Jakku possibly offer that might entice me to just let you go.”
“I… I…”
Rey didn’t know what to say. She couldn’t understand why he was taunting her like this. It was clear that he was with the First Order and from what she’d gathered about them, they were far from gentle with anyone.
Tension practically sparked in the air around them, the building anticipation tangled with fear and curiosity, and it left Rey feeling like something was about to happen. What, she didn’t know. But all of her instincts were screaming at her just then, the confusing push-and-pull between her flight or fight mode making it hard to focus on anything.
It was like she was standing on the very edge of a broken beam inside one of the star destroyers she’d spent her life scavenging, staring down into a nearly endless abyss as she tempted fate. Kriff, this was bad.
The air between them seemed to shift again, the strange pressure becoming harder to ignore, as the seconds slipped by. And when he took another step closer, leaving barely a hairsbreadth between them, it left her nearly breathless, time seeming to pause as they stared at each other.
“What is this?” he asked, his voice little more than a crackling whisper as he ran a gloved finger along her cheek.
On instinct, Rey tried to move her head back, but the force holding her in place refused to budge. She didn’t know what to say. Really, there wasn’t anything that could be said since she was nearly overwhelmed with all the swirling, conflicting sensations that were leaving her more than a little confused. She was angry and scared and wanted to go home, and yet she was undeniably curious why this man was affecting her so much.
“What are you doing to me?” he asked, his tone more urgent this time. “What strange powers do you wield, Scavenger?”
“I… I…”
Rey swallowed back a curse.
She could feel the frustration bubbling up in her chest the longer this went on, a few angry tears gathering in her eyes as she tried yet again to break free. He was wrong. She wasn’t doing anything. He was the one that was somehow holding her in place.
“Why are you so familiar?” he mused, running a finger along her jaw as he titled her head up to look at him. “Who are you?”
“I’m nobody,” Rey said, scowling as she tried to shrug off his hand. “Now let me go.”
“No. There has to be more,” he said, his voice low as his finger trailed lower, tracing the length of her neck. “More to you. More to this. More to why I sensed you the moment my shipped touched down.”
Oh. What had she gotten herself into?
“I’m just a scavenger like you said,” Rey said, her voice somehow unwavering despite all the nerves churning in her stomach, twisting tighter and tighter the longer he lingered there, still touching her.
“Hmm…”
He didn’t pull back, his hand coming to rest just a few centimeters above her heart, and the way he stared at her through the mask made her belly swoop, unsure whether it was from fear or… or… or anticipation. And not for the first time that day, Rey wondered if leaving Jakku had been mistake she wasn’t going to soon forget.
Kriff.

Chapter Text
The light in the clearing turned dark, the sun growing dim as shadows blotted out the few stray hints of light that peeked through the leaves. Her anger at being held captive like this became a little less raw, almost imperceptibly softening as the moment dragged on and he continued to stand there, the heat from his gloved hand practically burning into her skin.
She’d wanted to shout that there was nothing familiar about him. That their paths had never crossed before. That it didn’t matter that there was a growing feeling in the pit of her stomach whispering that maybe he wasn’t quite a stranger after all.
But then he started moving again, and Rey had to bite back a surprised cry, feeling completely trapped as his fingers danced across her skin. A trail of goosebumps followed his movements as her belly tightened, wishing that she wasn’t so painfully aware of every touch, and when he started to unravel the bindings on her arms, she forgot how to breathe.
“Wh – what are you doing?” Rey asked, trying to sound braver than she felt just then. Kriff, she was so confused.
He didn’t respond, and it sent a shiver of fear running through her as Rey was left wondering what was happening. Why was he touching her like this?
It wasn’t like she was anyone special. She had no wealth. No real power of any kind. There was no reason someone who was clearly as important as he was would be interested in a nobody like herself.
“I know you from somewhere,” he said almost as if he were talking to himself, ignoring her protests. “A dream, perhaps.”
Rey scoffed, not knowing what else to say. Even if there was something about him that made her pause, Jakku didn’t exactly have a lot of visitors. She was certain she’d remember someone like him.
“Deny it all you want,” he said, giving the binding on her left arm a sharp tug as he removed it, the cloth dropping to the forest floor without care before he moved to her other arm. “But I know. You can’t hide anything from me, Scavenger.”
The way he called her scavenger should have annoyed her, but even with the voice modulator, it came out almost reverently. Like a fond nickname and not the insult that Rey had grown used to the few times she’d encountered off-worlders who’d stopped by Niima Outpost.
“Why?”
“Why, what, Scavenger?” he asked, running a finger along her belt, a low chuckle escaping him when she sucked in a deep breath, and then he was removing it, discarding it just like her arm bands. “Use your words.”
“Why are you doing this?” Rey ground out, a flash of irritation bubbling up in her chest. “I don’t have anything you want. I don’t know where the droid is now. I’m not with the Resistance.”
“I don’t know about that,” he said, moving somehow even closer. The air between them was vibrating with intensity, making it hard to breathe. “Can’t you feel how the force is thrumming every time I touch you? It’s practically alive in this clearing. I don’t know how you’re doing it, but I don’t plan on ignoring this.”
Rey scowled, her nose crinkling as she glared at him. If the force was here, it was because of him. Not her.
“I’m not doing anything. You’re the one who’s holding me here. Why don’t you just let me go, and we can forget about all this?” Rey countered, her voice rising with each word. “I won’t be any trouble. I just want to go back to Jakku and forget about all this.”
“No.”
The finality in his voice brooked no argument, and it made her stomach fall, instinctively knowing that there was no use arguing with him. Rey could only watch as he ran a hand along her stomach before moving up and up until it was cupping the back of up neck, forcing her to meet his gaze.
“There’s nothing on Jakku for you anymore,” he said, the air around them growing even thicker as his other hand slid along her bare arm, almost like a caress if she didn’t know better.
Time almost seemed to pause as he held her there, and despite the fear that was bubbling just under the surface, Rey almost found herself wishing that she could see his face. To find out who the creature in the mask was.
But that swiftly changed a moment later, the headiness in the air turning urgent as he tugged on the sleeve of her tunic, the seams protesting as he forced it off her shoulder. He ignored her cry of protest, completely focused on the task at hand as piece by piece he unraveled everything until she was left practically bare before him.
Rey barely had a chance to process that she was naked as whatever it was that had been holding her in place released. Freedom.
Her first instinct was to run, but before she could do that, a surprised cry escaped her as he swiftly moved, and Rey found herself pressed against the forest floor as he hovered over her before she could even blink.
“Wh – what…”
Shock slammed into Rey from the sudden movement, and all she could smell just then was fear tinged with fresh dirt and decaying leaves.
Kriff.
“Hush,” he said, his hands digging into her hips as he held her still. “I need to know what this is. I know you can feel it, too.”
Damn. She felt completely exposed, at the mercy of whatever he wanted to do to her. A part of her wanted to deny what he was saying. That he was wrong. That was nothing between them. But the words died on her tongue.
As scared as she was by how he’d so easily disarmed her, leaving her stripped bare underneath him, Rey couldn’t ignore the strange pressure building with each passing moment, that quiet, gut feeling that had guided her for so long on Jakku, seeming to grow each time he mentioned the force.
It wasn’t enough to make the fear disappear, though, as all of her senses screamed when he slipped a hand along the inside of her thighs.
“Please. Please stop,” Rey whined, but he just continued, not paying any heed to her words.
She knew she was in danger now – he could do whatever he wanted to her – but she only offered a meager protest, squirming and wiggling underneath him now that she was able to move again.
“Stay still,” he warned, giving her ass a swift tap with his hand.
Rey stopped moving immediately, too surprised to say anything when he repeated the motion twice more. He’d spanked her.
She opened her mouth, and then closed it again, when his fingers dipped between her thighs, tracing along the small patched of curls that framed her cunt. It made Rey feel all weird, a shudder running through her when he ran a finger along her cunt.
Her body shouldn’t be responding to this. She shouldn’t like any of it. And yet…
This was wrong – so wrong – but the air around them snapped and crackled with every touch, as if the universe wanted this to happen, and Rey found herself responding to his touch, her belly tightening with anticipation almost like she was enjoying this.
But she wasn’t. She couldn’t be enjoying this. Right?
It all seemed to blur together – the way one of his hands rested on her lower back as he held her to the ground, the fingers of his other hand dancing across her inner thighs as he teased her, causing a tingling, swooping feeling to swirl in her belly – and that was before he ran a finger between her folds.
And it was too much.
“Please.”
“Shh, relax, Scavenger,” he murmured, his fingers swirling across her cunt, teasing and taunting and tantalizing with each swipe. “Clear your mind. Focus on me. On the force. On whatever it is that is connecting us.”
Oh kriff. His words sent a shiver down her spine.
A broken cry escaped her as he eased first one and then a second gloved finger inside her, leaving her stretched wide. Her body struggled to accommodate him as his fingers filled her, caught between pleasure and pain.
“Damn, you’re like a vice,” he swore, his voice low as Rey’s fists curled against the ground, trying to bite back a sob.
It hurt and it didn’t, and she was torn between wanting to go back to the ship and chasing the unexpected pleasure that was unfurling in her stomach. And then he started moving his hand, giving little thrusts, and Rey instinctively clamped down around his fingers as shocks of pleasure slammed into her.
It left her feeling breathless as he thrust his fingers over and over again, and it took everything Rey had to not cry out. Her stomach was like a tightly wound spring, quickly being pushed toward the edge as he eked out pleasure with each new thrust.
“Look at you,” he murmured, his voice almost smug sounding as giving another thrust before he nudged her knees further apart as if to admire his work. “You’re practically dripping for me, Scavenger.”
“You’re an ass,” Rey ground out, hating that he was right. No one had ever touched her like this. Whatever late night fumbling had happened in her bunk as she’d explored her body was nothing next to this.
He just laughed before pulling away, and Rey had to press her face against the dirt to muffle her whine. She couldn’t see what was happening behind her, but her belly swooped when his gloves dropped to the ground mere centimeters from her face, evidence from what he’d just been doing glistening on the black leather. A small click and then a thud as something hit the ground next to her quickly followed, and Rey knew that he’d taken his helmet off. If she wasn’t so on edge – at once both frightened and undeniably curious – with the possibilities of what was going to happen running through her mind, she’d almost be curious enough to turn her head to look at him.
Was he young? Old? Handsome, maybe.
Not that any of it should matter. Not when she should hate him. Hate what he was doing to her.
“Oh!”
The cry escaped Rey before she’d even noticed that he’d moved, too caught up in her stream of thoughts until she felt something pressing against her cunt. Anxiety flared, the sudden tension making her go nearly stiff until he brushed against her cunt again and Rey realized that it was his tongue.
His tongue.
He was… he was licking her.
Licking her there.
Oh.
“Knew you’d taste good,” he murmured, his deep, rich voice making her belly swirl as she realized that the damn voice modulator was gone now that he’d taken off the helmet.
Rey cursed at the shiver that ran through her. She shouldn’t be so affected by every little thing he was doing.
But it was useless trying to resist the pleasure that was coursing through her. If she thought it felt good earlier, it was nothing compared to this as his fingers dug into her bare hips, holding her still while his mouth teased her, swiping and swirling and feasting on her cunt. And her body felt like it was on fire, little sparks of electricity jolting her every time their skin came in contact.
It was almost too much, but only in the best, most horrible way, as he pushed her closer and closer to the edge.
“Do it. Give in,” he urged, giving her clit a kiss, his tongue toying with her.
Rey tried to shake her head, unwilling to listen to what he was saying. She needed to resist him. Couldn’t afford to give in. But then his teeth grazed her clit before sucking it into his mouth, and Rey found herself clenching down around air, a sharp cry leaving her lips as her orgasm slammed into her.
Oh. No.
No. No. No.
The intensity caught her completely off guard, unable to muffle her sobs as her fingers dug into the ground. And it didn’t help that he continued to lap at her cunt, soaking up every trace of her orgasm with his mouth, the air around them practically singing as she fell apart under him.
It wasn’t fair.
Her body was betraying her. Eagerly cooperating with whatever he wanted for the bits of pleasure that were coursing through her.
Damn. How could he do this to her? And more importantly, why didn’t she hate it? Not entirely.
Rey was so conflicted by it all, and yet she almost mourned the loss of his mouth when he pulled back a minute later. She should be grateful. Relieved, even, but her traitorous body wanted more.
So much more.
Before she had a chance to process why she wanted him to continue, he flipped her over, his eyes blown wide with arousal – and maybe something else too – as he stared down at her.
Rey tried to ignore the weird swirling sensation in her belly when she noticed how his lips were shiny, glistening with the evidence of the orgasm he’d just coaxed out of her. And then she noticed his thick, dark hair that was somehow perfectly coiffed despite the helmet he wore. And the smattering of moles across his face made her briefly wonder whether the rest of him was just as covered. And just when Rey started to let her thoughts run away from her, her gaze met his, and the intensity in his eyes made her forget how to breathe entirely.
Kriff, she hadn’t expected him to be so handsome.
She should be screaming right now. Fighting back. Taking the opportunity to flee.
But… but maybe she didn’t want to. Not yet, at least.

Chapter Text

They stared at each other for a long minute, neither of them moving as the world around them seemed to narrow. The faint sounds of the ongoing fight at Maz’s disappeared, even the forest growing silent, as the moment dragged out.
It was like time was standing still just for them.
The air was tense, thick with some unexplained presence, and Rey had to remind herself to breathe. The intense, almost frenzied look in his eyes should have frightened her, and maybe it did, but Rey was so on edge, all of her defenses feeling like they’d been stripped one by one, that she almost forgot that she needed to be scared.
Now would be the time to fight back. With their change in position, his hold on her had loosened, only vaguely pressing her to the forest floor with her hands pinned above her head as he hovered over her. But Rey was at once too overwhelmed and curious by this strange encounter to even try.
She wanted to hate him, and yet… she didn’t. Not quite.
“Kriff, Scavenger,” he swore in a deep, low voice. His breathing was heavy, almost as if he’d been running for a few kilometers instead of pinning her to the ground with his face buried between her thighs as he forced an orgasm out of her. “Can you feel it now?”
Rey shook her head, unsure why he was so insistent about this. Even if she was almost painfully aware of the strange pressure in the air around them, the little sparks running through her every time they touched, and the quiet feeling in her gut that told her that he was somehow familiar, Rey couldn’t see how any of this was so important.
Odd things happened all the time for no reason, and this was no different. It had to be a fluke. A peculiar coincidence. Nothing more.
“Don’t lie to me,” he warned, his hand sliding between them to cup one of her breasts. And she couldn’t hide her reaction, a sharp gasp escaping her when his fingers plucked at her nipple, sending a flash of arousal through her. “I know you can feel the power that’s here – that’s growing between us.”
“I – I’m not lying,” Rey protested, the irritation that had faded after her orgasm roaring back to life at his accusation.
She wasn’t lying. Or at least, she wasn’t trying to, but Rey had already given in so much. Even if she wasn’t sure why he thought this was so important, she was determined not to make things too easy for him. And telling him that she was very aware of the tension bubbling just under the surface would be offering him too much.
“Then let me show you,” he said, the words sounding more like a threat than anything else.
Moving with a swiftness that surprised her, he shifted to kneel above her, yanking on his belt before shoving his pants down just enough to free his cock. And what a cock it was – long and thick and far bigger than it had any right being – and Rey could only watch, feeling frozen with indecision and not at all liking how it made her squirm, a weird sort of anticipation mixing with fear as she glanced down at it.
Before Rey could even process what was happening, he moved over her, taking his cock in hand as he ran it along her cunt. And then he repeated the motion twice more, the nearly clear liquid that had gathered on the mushroom-shaped tip rubbing into her skin.
“Do you feel it now?” he asked, his voice thick as his gaze met hers, and the intense, almost feverish look in his eyes made her ache. With what, she didn’t know, but it was enough to make her shift underneath him, the antsy anticipation in her lower belly only growing.
She’d be a fool not to notice how the air swirled around them, almost like a strange, pulsing force, but Rey just shook her head, unwilling to give him what he wanted. He seemed to expect her answer, his lips quirking as he ran his cock along her cunt once more, a breath escaping Rey when the tip brushed against her clit. And then he was positioning his cock at her opening, pausing just long enough for Rey to realize what he was about to do before easing the tip inside.
It hurt. Oh, kriff, it hurt.
Her hands clawed at the ground, a sharp cry leaving her lips as she thrashed and squirmed underneath him, and the movement made him slip a little deeper inside her. Fuck he was just so big. Too big.
“Please. Please, it – it –” Rey cried out, her body struggling to accommodate him. She didn’t want to admit to him that it hurt, the sting lingering. Kriff, she hadn’t experienced anything like this before.
“Relax,” he bit out through gritted teeth as he paused above her. “Don’t want to hurt you any more than necessary.”
He slipped a hand between them, his fingers brushing over her clit, and it sent sparks of pleasure shooting through Rey. It was almost enough for her forget about the pain, but then he eased his cock further inside her while his thumb toyed with her clit, and the pain from feeling like she was being split open mixed with pleasure as a gasp escaped her.
She was just so full. Stretched completely wide around him.
“Fuck, Scavenger, you’re perfect.”
“Oh!” Rey gasped when he rocked his hips, slowly working his cock deeper and deeper until he was fully seated inside her.
And then he paused and, kriff, it was too much.
It nearly took her breath away, and Rey didn’t know what to think as the pain faded a little more with each passing second. And it wasn’t long before the pain was replaced with a growing ache in her lower belly. She tried to ignore it, but her curiosity got the better of her as she relented and gave an experimental clench around his cock.
Oh. It… it felt good. She repeated the motion, almost enjoying how he swore, clearly affected by what she was doing.
“You feel so fucking good wrapped around me,” he groaned, his voice thick with arousal.
The air around them was thrumming, almost intoxicating with its intensity, as he started moving, slowly at first as if to give her a moment to adjust, before picking up speed. And whatever gentleness had been there disappeared as he thrust again. And again. And again.
Rey felt lost in the moment, completely confused by the array of emotions that were slamming into her. It was almost infuriating with how much he was making her feel, but she forgot all about that, sucking in a deep breath and instinctively arching her back when he dipped his head down to press kisses along her breast.
“Please,” Rey cried out, unsure what she was asking for as her hand came up to tug at his hair. She should hate this – should be angry at what he was doing to her – but instead she found herself chasing the pleasure that he was eking out of her.
“I knew it,” he groaned, dragging his lips over her nipple before giving another thrust. “I knew it from the moment I heard about you. Knew that you were what I’d sensed back on Jakku.”
“I – I –”
Rey didn’t know what to say. There was a certain rightness to his words, but kriff, it was all too much to think about right now as he was fucking her, bringing her to the very edge of ruin.
“I’ve been searching for this – for you – for so long.”
There was a frenzied, feverish energy to his movements, and Rey cried out, clinging to him as he pushed her closer and closer to the edge. This was all too overwhelming.
“And now you’re mine.”
He captured her lips in a desperate kiss, and Rey found herself pulling him tighter to her as it deepened. All of her senses were practically on fire, and it was nearly enough to make her sob with how much she was feeling.
“Mine. Mine. Mine.”
The words were whispered almost like a prayer, and Rey felt like she was on the very precipice as her hips started moving, meeting his thrusts over and over again.
There was a tightness in her lower belly, and his thrusts grew shaky, the rhythm erratic as he covered her in frantic, burning kisses. Everything felt electrified – like lightning was about to strike – and when she came just a moment or two later, Rey was only vaguely aware of the explosion of energy around them.
Gusts of wind crashed through the clearing, dirt and leaves and twigs swirling across the ground from how powerful it was. And when the energy slammed into the two of them, it was as if their very souls were connecting. An absurd thought, for sure, but Rey didn’t know how else to explain the strange, almost out-of-body sensations she was experiencing just then, as it felt like a long-closed door was finally being wrenched open.
“My little scavenger. Mine,” he groaned, peppering her in kisses before he collapsed above her, giving a few last shaky pumps as he filled Rey with his cum. “Gonna keep you.”
Oh. His words should be infuriating, but instead, Rey just pulled him tighter to her, delighting in the pleasure that was coursing through her.
The gentleness in his movements as he pulled her into a lingering kiss surprised Rey. A part of her was well aware that he’d ignored her wishes as he’d taken and used her, and she knew that she’d be annoyed with him later, but for now, she was going to let herself find whatever comfort she could.
She wasn’t sure how long they lay there, sprawled on the forest floor, but when he eventually pulled back, she was left aching and sore, regret mixed with the slightest bit of satisfied pleasure that was still coursing through her system. She felt like she’d been running for hours.
“What –”
“Shh,” he interrupted, stiffening as tension radiated off him.
A second later, Rey heard the nearby snap of branches and the crunch of leaves under boots, alerting them that others were headed their way. Moving quickly, he wrapped his cowl around her as a makeshift blanket, covering her nakedness before fastening his pants.
“Stay,” he ordered before turning his attention to the approaching footsteps.
Rey wasn’t sure why she listened to him, but she did. She couldn’t hear what was said when the small group of stormtroopers entered the clearing, but it was obvious that he was in charge as he instructed one of the troopers to gather her belongings from where they’d been strewn across the forest floor.
“Come, little Scavenger,” he said, putting his helmet back on before scooping her up in his arms. “My ship is waiting.”
“I – I –”
“Don’t worry,” he said, his voice turning almost impossibly soft even through the modulator in his helmet. “There will be a nice warm bath waiting for you in my quarters. And then after that, I want to taste you again before we continue this conversation.”
Oh. A bath did sound nice.
“Wait,” Rey said, tugging on his arm when he started moving. “I don’t even know your name.”
He paused, glancing down at her as he laughed, and the sound went straight to her belly. Damn. She shouldn’t find that attractive.
“Be – Kylo. Kylo Ren.”
“I’m Rey.”
She didn’t know why she offered her name – especially after what had just happened – but Kylo laughed again, his arms tightening around her, and Rey was left in a daze as he carried her off to his ship. She could hardly believe that this was how her day had gone.
Kriff. Whatever she had gotten herself into was about to change the course of her life. And as scary as that might be, she was almost looking forward to it as the words Maz had said after she’d been drawn to the lightsaber echoed through her mind.
The belonging you seek is not behind you. It is ahead.
Notes:
Thanks for reading!
The ending is a little open because otherwise this would turn into a 10+ chapter fic. Kylo is absolutely going to spend the rest of his days cherishing Rey (even if he does need to learn about consent first), but I like to think that Rey doesn't mind too much. She might even enjoy how fiercely protective - and possessive - he is now that their bond has opened.
