Chapter Text

Long ago there was a little girl called Maria. Let say Maria at this time was about.... 6 years old yea let's do that. One day Maria was in her room playing with her 2 dolls but all of a sudden a loud roar came from outside it was only Maria and her mother so her mother went to her room quickly "Maria I need you to listen to me carefully, do NOT leave this house until I come back and investigate that sound from outside do you understand?" Maria looked at her mother but nodded her mother left the house to go investigate where the roar came from.

A few minutes have must and Maria being the small child she is got scared. She knew her mother said not to go out but she's been gone for almost 20 minutes so Maria got up and walked to the door and left. "Mama! Mama where are you" she yelled hoping that she might hear her mother but nothing. All of a sudden the roar got louder and louder but Maria didn't care, she needed to know where her mother and or father were.

Maria kept walking and walking but nothing until all of sudden she saw 2 massive ONIs she quickly hid behind a tree and looked to where they were going. But them both of her parents came back without realising that two ONIs were behind them. "MAMA PAPA BEHIND YOU!" Maria's parents quickly turned around and saw 2 massive ONIs in there way before the parents could run the 2 ONIs pinned one of them down "Mmm fresh meat" one said "let's see how they taste like" before the parents could scream they 2 ONIs ripped out their flesh and started to eat from it.

Maria watched in horror and screamed so loud that the ONIs stop what they were doing and quickly ran quickly to see where the scream came from. Maria saw that they were heading her way so she ran as fast as her little legs could hold her. The ONIs saw her an and ran faster and faster .

Maria couldn't keep up she was screwed done for until she found a little hole on the tree and quickly climbed In. "Where are you little girl..." "You can come out we just want to... play." As the ONIs tried to find her Maria quickly and quietly came out of the hole (don't think dirty gang) and ran for her life. She was safe for now but when I tell you I'm the future it won't be pretty....

Maria kept running, she ran as fast as her little legs could handle it. As she ran tear came out as the memory of her parents getting... well eaten kept replaying over and over again, it would not stop. Why did I freeze... why didn't I help.... It's all my fault. She thought as she kept running, she didn't look back to afraid of another ONI that might get her and do the same as her parents.

Hours passed and Maria fell to the ground to weak to move. Her legs hurt from running, she couldn't move a muscle. She started to feel dizzy since she little ran for hours plus had not eaten nor drank any water so Maria felt extremely dizzy. Her eyes grew heavy and then started to faint.

She then opened her eyes to see an old man walking in "Ah, your awake I see." He said walking up to Maria. The old man was holding a wooden staff and was wearing a long black rob with white writing. He had shoulder length white hair, a goatee and was wearing a bamboo hat.

"What's your name little girl...?" The old man questioned but nothing "how old are you?" He questioned but she didn't say anything and just stared down "Where are your parents...?" That made Maria stare at the old man holding back tears "gone..." she replied "What?" The old looked at her with her with wide eyes "they're gone... they got.... Eaten by ONIs." The old man stayed quiet and sat next to the purple haired girl aka Maria.

"You ran all the way here? You must be very brave.." he tried to comfort her but she just looked down trying to hold her tears. The man saw that so he tried to introduce himself. "Well my name is Yumi- Sensei Yumi..." he said "sensei, you are a fighting teacher...?" She raised her eyebrow "correct... I'm going to ask you one more time, what is your name?" She hesitated for a moment before replying "I am Maria..."

Chapter Text

"Maria? That's a pretty name." Sensei Yumi said with a smile but Maria didn't say anything and met looking down, the scene of her parents getting eaten was the only on her mind. The only thing... haunting her. Sensei Yumi looked at her maybe I can teach her how to fight,  after all it has been a while since I had a student ever since...

He snapped and looked at Maria with another smile "Would you like to learn how to fight?" Maria looked up at those words "I'm 6 years old... a little young don't you think?" Maria said confused "Yes, a 6 year old but a smart one in fact... wouldn't you like to defend yourself and those who need help...?"

Maria just stared at the old man and wondered maybe this could be a good idea... there can't be THAT much consequences... right? She wondered until she replied "When do I start?"
The sensei looked her with smile "Tomorrow, I'll wake you up..." Maria raised an eyebrow at the last part "wake me up? Why are you-" "you're staying here now, you don't really have anyone to take care of you so I will take the responsibility...." The old man interrupted her.

Maria looked surprised, shocked even "...thank you..." Maria thanked him as she  looked down at the ground she was honestly still sad and extremely tired from the running. Sensei Yumi noticed this and ruffled the girls purple hair "get some rest kid, you have a lot of training in the morning" Maria just nodded and lied back down on the mattress and went to bed.

Chapter Text

Maria was woken up by Sensei who was smiling and helping her up "rise and shine sleepy head it's time to wake up and start your training!" Maria was half asleep but opened her eyes to look out the window to see the sun came out.

"The sun isn't even out yet..." Maria said still having her eyes closed and about to fall asleep again "yes but it's time for training! Don't tell me you're tired?" "Well of course I'm tired I just woke up" Maria said wanting to go to sleep "mhm sure, get up cmon it's not that hard."
She just groaned and fell back down.

Sensei Yumi didn't allow this so he left this to grab a cup of cold water. He bent down "you wanna sleep?" He asked "mhm...." Maria replied "too bad" the sensei said as he poured the cold water onto Maria's face as she quickly woke up from the freezing water.

"Ahh, you decided to wake up hmm? Well cmon I'm not repeating myself it's time for training" he said as Maria groaned and got up and walked out of her room tired but she couldn't do anything since Sensei Yumi would probably pour cold water on her head so she decided to play it safe and follow the old man for her training.
(So for the next chapter I MIGHT fast forward to when she grows up because it's getting boring gang)

Chapter Text

Sensei Yumi taught Maria all of the fighting techniques so she would be able to protect herself. Maria swore to herself that everyone ONI she saw, big or small she would kill them to avenge her parents. Sensei Yumi saw this and was worried he didn't want to tell Maria cause if he did he felt like it might break the relationship. He didn't want her to leave him, she was like a daughter.

Sensei had to go somewhere, he needed travels tea which makes anyone travel to anywhere but he didn't have any left. He went to check up on Maria on how her training was and all a sudden he saw her summoning a portal. He was stunned! But he saw that Maria couldn't control it "Maria, what is this!" Maria looked at her sensei her eyes were white and glowy "Sensei! One second I was training and all of sudden a portal came in!" He saw that Maria was trying to close so he ran up to her seeing the panic in her eyes.

"Maria calm down and take a deep breath..." "Sensei I'm scared!" Maria said with tears coming out. "Don't be! Fear will only make it worse!" He saw that she was panicking so he grabbed her hand gently and grabbed her by her cheek "Maria, take a deep breath. Fear will make it worse." Maria looked at her sensei and nodded. She took a deep breath over and over again until the portal got smaller and smaller then disappeared.

"Sensei, what was that, was that me?!" Maria looked with her eyes widening as the sensei thought and then realised "Maria, you have the power of teleportation! That's incredible!"
Maria was too stunned "How is that good if I can't even control this power?" "Oh but you will, with training I can help you control it." Maria look stunned... the ten year old didn't know how to feel but she couldn't help but feel nervous.

Everyday the old man would teach young girl how to control it and everyday she would get better and better and when the old man had to go somewhere, Maria would glad make a portal for him. But all of a sudden something happened... the world was at sake and Sensei Yumi knew his time came.. "Maria.. make a portal to the underworld..."  Maria's eyes widened "But sensei it's too risky and dangerous! If I send you there then I won't..." The old man sighed "do it.." Maria hesitated before created the portal. The old man look at the portal then Maria.

"I once wanted to make this world into my image, but I never thought I had in you Maria, my student, my... my daughter..." before Maria could speak Yumi jumped in the portal as it closed "SENSEI!!!" Maria fell to the ground as she felt to weak. You see when Maria make portals to other realms she gets weaker. Maria fell to the ground as tears came down her cheek "I will always remember you.. sensei..."

Years later and Maria was 20 (told you it would be fast forward) ever since her sensei sacrificed himself for the world Maria made sure to take care of his monastery. One day she was walking around the forest until she heard noise...

Chapter Text

Maria turned around quickly and got into a fighting stance but nothing... so she went back to walking around. As she kept walking the noise got louder and louder but this time she didn't turn around and just kept walking until she stopped and just stand there and she noticed and shadow figure but she didn't turn around.

As the figure went closer and closer they nearly grabbed Maria before she made a portal underneath her and vanished. The figure looked around to see where was but nothing, until she came from behind him and pinned them on the ground "Who are you and why were you following me?" But nothing "SPEAK!" still nothing.

Maria couldn't help but notice they were wearing a cloak, so without any thinking she quickly took off their hood widened, it was a full blown ONI.... "My my, you certainly look tasty aren't I lucky!" He pushed her off the ground and pinned her on the ground "Get off me you monster!" She yelled "but I'm hungry... just I bite, or two.." as the ONI got closer and closer, Maria quickly made a portal and stood behind him.

"Who are you, ONI..." as the ONI got up he didn't introduce himself so he made grin showing his sharp teeth "Oh gosh, where are my manners! The names Okito, now you tell me yours, I mean pfft- I do deserve the name of the human I'm going to eat.." Maria just looked at him in disgust "well aren't you cocky?" The ONI just stared "im not that cocky.. now where was I? Oh yes!" All of a sudden a scythe appeared in the palm of his claws and swished at Maria's head trying to aim for it.

Maria quickly dodged as Okito kept trying to aim at her "damn it I should've brought my staff..." Okito burst laughing "staff? Oh by the great warlord himself that's hilarious!" As he kept trying to aim for her it was about to aim for her head but she quickly grab the head of the spear and tried to hold it.

The Okito widen his eyes but then smirked "I misjudged you human your strong.. but I'm stronger!" He laughed as he kicked her stomach. Maria fell on the ground, gosh that fucking hurt... she looks up ands see the ONI lifting up his scythe "Goodbye human!" As it was about to aim for her head Maria quickly created a portal and fell inside. The portal quickly vanished and ONI looked mad "MARK MY WORDS HUMAN WHEN I RULE THIS WORLD I WILL FIND YOU AND EAT YOU!!!" he yelled "gosh.. what a pus-"

Chapter Text

Maria landed in the monastery with a loud thud. Maria quickly got up and wondered what just happened she just saw an ONI! Well an incredibly cocky ONI but still an ONI. As she kept wondering all of a sudden loud crashes of lightning was outside, she got out of the monastery and saw the sky was red and big huge thunders of lightning came in and looked like it came from the city of Zeno. Maria grabbed her staff and teleported to the city.

Maria arrived at the city with people screaming and sound of people running for their lives. She was wondering where the spark of lightning might have came from until she saw a building with someone on top where the lighting sparked so she teleported their quickly not wasting anytime.

When she teleported her eyes widened "Well well well if it isn't purple girl! Get it, cause your hair is purple! HAH" Maria rolled her eyes as she saw Okito "Stop this madness! You're hurting people here ONI!" Okito just rolled his eyes "they deserve it..." Maria was confused at that part but didn't care.

Okito made his first move as her aimed the scythe at her but Maria quickly held it off with her staff. "You think that wooden stick will help you?" Maria punched him in the stomach as she couldn't hold on "DONT YOU EVER SHUT THE FUCK UP?!" she yelled with frustration as she kept hitting him with her staff.

"You know I still haven't gotten your name, purple girl!" Maria just stopped at the sentence and looked confused "purple girl?" Okito just blinked and scoffed "uhh yea? Cause you know... your hair is- you know what never mind!" Maria was still thinking why he called her purple girl but was quickly off guard by him nearly aiming the scythe at her head. She tried to use all her power to hold on but she couldn't as she fell on the ground as she looked up to see him grinning and having the scythe on top of his head and was about to slice her face open until someone quickly grabbed him from behind and punched him so hard the he fell unconscious.

Maria was stunned she tried finding the figure but couldn't until the figure bend down and smiled at her "need a hand?" Maria looked up with surprised but quickly grabbed their hand and got up. "Let's go before IT wakes up!" When the figure was about to go down the building Maria grabbed them and teleported somewhere in the city

Maria and the strange figure teleported to a near by alley. The figure sighed "well we finally got away-" all of a sudden Maria pinned them to the walls as she gave them a glare "Who are you and why did you save me." She questioned as she looked at her like she was about to kill her. The figure gasped from the sudden action "w-woah woah woah, I'm not the bad guy, Okito is!" Maria just pinned them harder "ugh! You've seen him, he wants to take over the world!" Maria stopped and stopped pinning her... ".. take off that hood.. show me your face.." when the figure didn't she pointed her staff at her face as she gave a death stare "Now.."

The figure didn't want to die, not today so they did what she said and took off her hood. Maria just stood there stunned. She didn't want to admit it but gosh she was gorgeous. She was Albino, that meant she was pale, REALLY pale. She had purple eyes and white hair and a diamond looking Beauty mark on left shoulder. "There, happy? My name is Sima, what's yours?"

Maria looked at her, she didn't want to tell her name, but maybe she doesn't know her so it can't be that bad? "It's Maria..." Simas eyes widened "woah woah woah, Maria? As is in Maria Yumi!!!" Oh shit she was caught as always. Maria was quite famous at the city of Zeno since she with her sensei and fight him but she stopped. "Oh my gosh I've always wanted to meet in you in person!" Maria rolled her eyes "you're welcome" Maria spoke as she looked around "where are we?" Sima looked at her with a grin "my secret hideout of course! Hold up.." she then knocked on the door and someone peaked through "password?" Sima blinked a few times and sighed "pickles and jam.." Maria wanted to burst out laughing, what type of password was that?

As the door finally opened sima looked back at her with a "come in, miss Yumi." She said with a smile clearly excited meeting a hero "please just... Maria, ok?" Sima cheek flushed in embarrassment "oh, of course!" She chuckled nervously as Maria entered first "by the goddess herself pls don't make me screw this up..." she prayed as she entered behind her.

There will always be consequences, always.

Chapter Text

As Maria and sima came inside a figure rushed to hug Sima “Are you crazy, why did you go out I told you to stay inside with that MONSTER on the loose!?” Sima rolled her eyes “you worry to much big bro..” Maria just stared at them until another figure popped up and flinched slightly. “Oh so sorry my name is Yu-Jun and you must be…?” Maria looked at the man with her eyebrow raised “Maria…” she said as she looked at Yu-Jun’s appearance.

He had jet black hair that was landed on his shoulder, he was muscular and had scars and bandages all over with a his hair covering his right eye and some scars on his face. “Maria…? Hmm have I heard of that name befor-“ Yu-Jin was about to speak before Sima screamed in excitement and yelled “She’s THE Maria Yumi! The City of Zenos hero! And she’s in our hideout RIGHT NOW!” Maria blushed in embarrassment before all eyes were on her, she REALLY didn’t like anyone paying attention at her.

“Oh how rude of me to not introduce myself to you, my name is Francis, I’m Simas older brother.” Francis was just like sima but taller and had dreadlock, instead of having purple eyes he had red eyes that looked like it could pierce into your soul. Sima giggled as ‘whispered’ “GAY older brother…” and laughed. Francis rolled his eyes and just glared at his immature younger sister “you don’t have to tell them that, that isn’t important!” Yu-Jun just gave Francis and squeeze on his shoulder and smiled.

Maria looked around the hideout, it looked more like a lab then an hideout since there were so many inventions and gadgets, “who build all this?” Asked Maria, Sima blushed “.. I did” Maria’s eyes widened with surprised “All this?” Sima sighed and smiled “yes, but I obviously I needed help with my brother and his boyfriend” Francis just rolled his eyes “Well since your so bad at math your lucky there are 2 people here that passed it.” Sima just looked away with embarrassment “Look math is hard, ok? Actually it’s not hard it’s just problematic! like why do you need to ask me these hard ass question? you know math, you solve it yourself!” Maria chuckled and looked around some more.

She noticed there were vibrate blue crystals on the centre, Sima noticed and walked up to her “Those crystals help me to defeat anyone evil creature that comes in our way, isn’t that amazing?” Maria looked at her and then looked some more and noticed a staff. It wasn’t like her staff it was more… thick and wide “Oh that’s my staff!” Maria examined it wondering why it’s built like that “Why is it so thick, wide and… well small?” Sima chuckled “give it to me, I’ll show you!” Maria threw the staff at Sima “alright, show me what it can do.” This white haired girl catches the staff and gripped on it tight until it grew longer becoming an actual size of a staff. Maria eyes widened it awe as how the staff grew.

“cool, ain’t it? You can have it if you want?” Maria looked at Sima and shook her head “no thank you, I have a staff and it means a lot to me…” Sima just looked at Maria with confusion “But it’s just a staff, what’s so important about that it” Maria just looked down her expression turn into sadness “the staff Im holding right now is my senseis…” Simas gasped as her eyes widened “I’m so sorry…” Maria looked up at her and gave her a reassuring smile “it’s fine.. Im gonna look around a bit…” sima nodded “that’s fine! But if you have a question ask me, Mr Gay and his boyfriend” Maria chuckled as she heard a yell coming out of Francis mouth “FOR THE LAST TIME SO SPREADING THAT INFO YOU LITTE CUN-“

As Maria kept looking around she noticed a picture of Sima and Francis when they were young with someone behind them “Who’s that?” Maria asked Sima, Sima walked up and saw the picture as a warm smile grew on her face “that’s my mum..” Maria looked at the picture and then Sima “no offence you look-“ before Maria could say anything she was cut off “nothing like mum? Get that a lot..” Maria looked at Sima and then at the photo.

“So how come you and your brother are..” Maria wanted to say it but was too afraid that she might hurt her feelings “we’re not white, I mean we look like it but in reality we’re black.” Maria just looked at the photo and asked “do you have a father?” As Maria said that Sima eyes looked down as her smile turned into a frown “he… left.” Maria eyes widened and looked at her with pity “I’m so sorry..” Sima looked up and scoffed in a joking matter “it’s fine… I was young anyways.” Maria couldn’t help but feel bad, but at least she had her mother Maria didn’t really have anyone left.

Francis came up to the two of them “I’m terribly sorry if I’m interrupting but don’t you think we should make a plan for when that MONSTER attacks? I heard that he’s already hunting people down..” Maria looked at Francis, her eyes fury “huh, ok then fine, plan first then YOU help me out with building by doing the math.” Sima smiled as her brother rolled his eyes “can’t I apparently have to learn to fight with Yu-Jun” Yu- Jin came behind Francis scaring him a little “you might be good at math but your not good at fighting Francis.” Francis just groaned “last time you taught me I ended up with a bruise on my face that lasted for 2 weeks..” Yu-Jun just shrugged “those are risks of learning how to fight.”

As the two were talking Sima looked at Maria “Are you good at math…?” Maria looked back at Sima with slight blush “… nope… sensei use to hit me with his staff when I kept getting the same question wrong..” Maria chuckled at that moment remembering how her senses was to her but she quickly snapped out it and got back to her usual form “Ok let’s do that later but right now we need a plan to destroy that ONI..” everyone looked at Maria don nodded in agreement as they started to set up they’re plan.

Chapter Text

With Okito:

Okito woke up, gosh his head hurt. The ONI tried looking around to find the purple haired girl and the one who punched him but they were no where to be seen. “Who even that purple girl… ugh she’s annoying, she doesn’t deserve being eaten by this handsome ONI… I must find her name.. she seems like a hero in this city… hmm I should ask some humans, yes that will work!” Okito then laughed thinking he had the best plan in the world so without any-thinking he shape-shifted into a human being, put on the hood of his cloak and jumped off the building.

No one, he saw no one walking through the streets due to people seeing the lighting strike he created. As he kept walking he then suddenly turned around seeing a creepy alley way. He heard a few noises, screams of horror and whispers but he wasn’t scared he was an ONI! He didn’t fear ANYONE, well expect great lord but that is another story. As he walked through all of a sudden someone pinned him on the wall “Well, well, well, are you a little too fancy to be walking around here…” the man said with a dark smile “I can walk where ever and when ever I want peasant..” “peasant? So you wanna play it that game huh?” All of a sudden the man grabbed a pocket knife out of his well… pocket and held it on his neck.

“You think your better then everyone do you?” Okito scoffed obviously knowing the answer “well yea? Im don’t leave in a dirty alleyway do I” he smirked as he saw the man getting mad and holding the knife more “listen here… you should fear me.. I own this alleyway, you should be afraid of me!” The man said thinking he scared Okito but he didn’t. When the man threatened him Okito just laughed, the man looked at him with rage in his eyes “you think this is a joke?! I’ll kill ya if I have to!” Okito chuckled “Oh man.. I feel bad for you” all of a sudden Okito shape-shifted back into an ONI looking at the man with hungry.

The man gasped as he accidentally dropping his knife. He tried to pick it up but he got pinned by the ONI, wrapping his arms around his neck. “You know, I’m a little hungry right now… you wouldn’t mind if I had a bite would you?” The man tried to say something, yell something but it was too late… The man tried to breath but the grip of the ONI was too strong, too powerful, as the alive body was now dead. Okito dropped the man on the ground and he felt an eye on him he quickly spotted them and grabbed them before they could ran away.

“Where do you think you’re going, human?” Okito said as he pinned the women to the wall. “P-please, don’t hurt me, I’ll do anything!” Okito laughed just when he was about to chock her like he did to the man all of a sudden her heard a voice. “Mama!” Okito turned his head to see a little boy running toward the him and the women “Son!” The women yelled with her last breath as she felt she was about to collapse but all of a sudden Okito let go. When he saw the boy he couldn’t help but stop. The women fell to the ground to weak to move as the little boy came up to his mother with a big hug as the women held him tight.

Okito looked down, his eyes widened and stepped back “snap out of it Okito…” he said to himself trying to calm himself down “Please… I’ll do anything just.. don’t hurt us..” the women said in a shaky tone. Okito stayed silent before he replied “Do you know the name of a purpled hair girl…” he said his tone deep with no sign of any joking around “… the only girl I know with purple hair is Maria… Maria Yumi..?” Okito hummed in response “thank you… now run and never come back…” the women got up and quickly grabbed her child and ran. Okito just stood there… he couldn’t stop shaking that feeling, when he heard the little boy cried out he couldn’t help but… No. Stop thinking like that. You’re an ONI.. you are NOT meant to feel sorrow for anyone…

Chapter Text

"Ok... so what's the plan then..?" Asked Sima looking confused as ever "Well.. I was hoping you guys would have ideas.." maria replied "But aren't you the cities big hero?" Yu-Jun said raising his eyebrow and looking at Maria "Well I haven't been in the city for a while now haven't?" "But you're a hero, shouldn't you be here 24/7?" Maria looked down and sighed "Look.. things happen ok? I lost somethings that were.. precious to me..." Maria stayed silent until Francis decided to speak up “We could use the crystals? They can defeat any evil creature that comes to the city?” Maria thought about, that wasn’t so bad but then again Maria hasn’t seen any ONIS at all “But will they harm an ONI.. ONIs are very powerful creatures that can destroy ANYTHING in their way… I don’t think it would be that easy…”

As the group thought about it more and more Sima spoke up “well if they won’t defeat the ONI then it will make it weaker.. I can make a something that will help us weaken it..” “you can make a gun that shoots out these crystals and will help us aim it at Okito..” “wait the ONI has a name?” Yu-Jun rolled his eyes and looked at Sima “all things have a name even monsters.” “How stupid are you Sima dear?” Sima looked at her brother and his boyfriend with a shocked face “AYE DON’T CALL ME STUPID YOU GAY TWAT!” “I wouldn’t be talking you know! I see how you look at-“ “SHUT THE FUCK UP THE BOTH OF YOU!” Maria yelled out startling Sima and Francis while Yu-Jun was laughing at the back.

Maria took a deep breath, calming herself down a bit “Sorry about that… how about we focus on the plan at hand..” Francis and Sima just looked at Maria like they seen a ghost or something “umm y-yea! Tots… I’ll make a gun that shoots out the crystals….” Sima looked at Francis as he sighed and just looked at her with a nonchalant expression “You want me to do the math..?” Sima gasped dramatically “Holy shit, how did you know my dear brother!” As Sima wrapped her arm around Francis’s shoulder as he sighed “You really need to teach yourself on how to do math..” sima looked at her brother with a glare “listen here you little fuck, if you don’t want Maria to scream to the top of her fucking lungs I suggest you just go with the flow” Francis thought about and agreed.

As Sima and Francis walked off Yu-Jun couldn’t help but wonder what she meant… ‘I lost somethings that were.. precious to me...’ Yu-Jun walked up to Maria. He wondered if he shouldn’t do this and it might be a lousy topic that might sting Maria a bit but he needed to know what she meant by that.. why did she leave the city unprotected and then come back now.. he was about to go up to her before a crash from outside the hideout.

They all quickly got out of the hideout to see what was that. The crash sounded like it was coming from the middle of the street, Maria grabbed the others and teleported them to where the crash was, and there he was terrorising the city was Okito… screams were heard people running away in fear. “Ohhh Maria… Maria Yumi, come out and play…~” Maria’s eyes widened ‘how did he get my name?’ She thought but then looked back at the demon “I wont stop till I found you…” Maria was about to walk out and fight him until Francis grabbed her wrist “you can’t go there, that monster will kill you!” “Well, not if she goes alone!” Sima yelled as she put her arm around Maria neck as she rested her head on her shoulder.

“No Sima you are not fighting and that is finale!” “None of you are coming with me.” Maria cried out as she saw everyone with shocked expression “Sima you need to build that crystal gun and you need your brother’s help, Yu- Jun you need to make sure that they don’t do anything stupid..” “but what if you don’t make it..?” “If I don’t… you know what to do.” The others looked at her and agreed as they quickly ran to the hideout as Maria quickly stepped out revealing herself to the ONI..

“Well well well if it isn’t purple girl !” Okito laughed out as he created his scythe pointing it at Maria “how did you get my name, ONI…” Maria yelled as she teleported her staff and gripped it hard “oh does it matter!? Everyone here knows you name, your quite famous you know…” he grinned at Maria showing his sharp teeth “but we shouldn’t waste time.. after all it your funeral!” He then quickly lunged at Maria throwing his scythe at her as she quickly dodged and hit his face hard with her staff “ugh my nose!” He yelled out as he grabbed his scythe and tried aiming it at her head as she quickly teleported away. Okito looked around to see any sight of her but nothing until she teleported out from the sky and grabbed his neck trying to choke him.

“You… you really think that will kill me? I am an ONI no one can kill me!” He yelled out as her grabbed and threw her own the ground and held his scythe in the air. Maria fell on the ground landing on her back with a loud thud, she groaned in pain when she tried getting up but was unable to. Okito was about to stab Maria before Maria yelled out “if now one can kill your kind where are the others, I don’t see them anywhere..!” Okito’s eyes widened as tears ran down his cheek and dropped in scythe to the ground . Maria looked up at him with surprised but also she confused. before Maria could say anything Okito roared in angry as he grabbed her and threw her on the wall. Maria groaned in pain as she felt his sharp claws grab her and pin her on a wall “You should’ve stayed quiet…” Maria was about to teleport her out but then she roared in pain as Okito scratched her on the stomach so hard the blood came out.

He dropped Maria on the ground and spat on her face “next time you say anything that can piss me off, I will kill you…” he threatened as he grabbed his scythe and walked away living Maria injured. She put her hand on the scratch mark trying to stop the blood from coming out, she was too weak teleport she used the remaining power she had and landed in hideout with a big thud. Sima saw her and rushed towards her “oh my god are you ok!?” She said with a worried tone as she gasped and saw the blood coming out “Yu-Jin, get the first aid kit!” Yu-Jun quickly ran trying to find the first aid kit as Sima held Maria in her r arms “that monster… will pay…”

Chapter Text

Sima opened the first aid kit as Maria clutched her stomach trying to hold off the blood on her stomach, she let out a painful groan as the pain got worse. Sima opened the first aid kit as she grabbed rubbing alcohol and bandages. “I’m gonna lift up your shirt, is that ok?” Sima asked so she wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. When Maria nodded her head sima lifted her shirt up as she saw the open wound more clearly “oh god, that.. monster really done it now..” she said her tone going deep as she helps cure the wound.

She poured rubbing alcohols on a tissue as she tried to gently rub it around the wound. Maria bit her lip trying to not make a sound as Sima kept rubbing it on the wound, she grabbed the bandages and wrapped it around your stomach and she pulled down your shirt “I don’t know how long it’ll heal but it might take a few days.” Sima said trying to reassure her “that monster will pay for this.. I hate him so much..” Maria said, her voice trembling with angry as Francis ran towards them with a worried expression on his face.

“You could’ve gotten yourself killed you purple ballon” he said as he hugged her tight but not too tight. Maria smiled as she hugged him back as Francis pulled away “next time you got out there with that monster on the loss make sure you make a plan” he told her as Maria rolled her eyes and sighed “I guess I wasn’t prepared for it…” Yu-Jun walked towards them as he placed an arm on Maria’s shoulders “Are you ok? I hope he didn’t hurt you that much.” “I’m fine thanks you Sima” Maria looked at Sima as she saw her blush “oh it was nothing…” Francis sighed as he looks at her sister “if you think your going to do anything stupid you are wrong” sima looked at her brother with a scoff “I didn’t do anything stupid… this time” “Sima I swear to the goddess herself you do anything!-“ as Francis yelled at Sima Yu-Jun placed a hand on his shoulders trying to reassure him, thankfully it did.

“We need a plan to defeat that ONI, if he does the goddess herself knows what he might do” Yu-Jun said his tone filled with worried “Sima are you done with the crystal guns?” Maria asked as Sima scratched her head and looked down “I haven’t really started..” “then you might as well start now” Maria ordered her as Sima nodded and she grabbed Francis from Yu-Juns grasped and both of them got to work. “Rest, it’s good for you” Yu-Jun said trying to help her out “I don’t need it” Maria refused as she grabbed her and sat her down on the couch “Rest.. I mean it” Maria just stared at him as she finally agreed and rested a bit.

(So gang the reason i haven’t been posting a lot is because I’m planning on posting the designs of my ocs and upcoming ones in newer chapters so be patient my lovely’s and get ready to see the designs❤️)

After a while of resting, maria and the group decided to make they’re plan worried of what Okito might be up to next. “Okie dokie Maria… whats the plan girl?” Sima asked looking at maria curiously “when me Yu-Jun, Francis and I battle him i want you to hide yourself and then when i give you the signal you shoot…” she explained “Woah, woah, woah.. why Sima what if she missed and Okito saw her.. he would straight up kill her then eat her!” Francis cried out worried for his sister and what that monster might do to her. Sima just rolled her eyes and looked at her brother with a scoff “relax, it’s not like i ever missed a shot you know..” “what about last time? When you tried to shoot the target tp aim a bullseye but then you missed shooting the“ “shut up Yu-Jun it was like a one time mistake, besides i wont miss this time.” She sweared as Yu-Jun sighed

“Have you build the crystal gun yet?” Maria asked as Sima nodded “Yep! It’s right here.” She pulled out the gun and grabbed a few crystals putting it inside the gun as she gave it to Maria “hmm… looks like it will do” she said as she examined the gun “I still think Sima shouldn’t be risking her life to shoot Okito” Francis said again being the worried older brother he is and Sima just scoffed “Im capable enough I’m not a little girl anymore i can handle this like a big girl!” Sima yelled slightly annoyed at her overprotective brother.

“Ok then thats the whole plan, me Yu-Jun and Francis will try to hold Okito off while Sima tries to waits for my signal to shoot. Does everyone understand?” Everyone looked at each other as they all nodded in agreement “Okay but question, what is your signal?” Sima asked as Maria paused for a moment trying to think of a signal to yell out. “… we will never fall is going to be the signal for you to shoot the enemy, do you understand” Sima looked at her and nodded agreeing with maria.

Francis sighed to himself as his expression turned into worried “if you fucking die sima i will tear your body apart you ass..” Sima chuckled to her brother’s threat “Do that and i might come back from the fucking dead!” She laughed as her brother rolled her eyes “To the goddess of Zeno, i hope that we wont die and we actually might win this after all.” Yu-Jun prayed to himself loudly as Francis set his hand on his shoulder as he kissed his cheek, Sima rolled her eyes playfully “Oh hurry up you two, i want to be an aunt already” she said nonchalantly as the both of them blushed as Francis yelled at Sima to shut up

Maria created a portal to where she thought Okito was, Sima noticed that she was quiet, but this time too quiet so Sima went up to maria to chest up on her. "Hey uh... you doing ok?" Sima asked Maria with a warm smile on her face as Maria turned around to face her "Im fine." She said obviously lying "Mhm right, Maria i know you haven't known me for a while now but you can tell me anything, something is bothering you.." Maria looked down and then looked back at Sima "i want to kill him... i want hurt him... i HATE him... i HATE onis... they took everything from me..." Maria confessed as she felt a tear run down her cheek as she remembered the last time she saw her parents.

Sima looked at Maria, she felt bad for her even if she didn't know get backstory still she felt sad. As more tears went down Marias face, Sima quickly wiped them away and looked at her with a warm smile "Hey, hey, hey... cheer up we may not well... kill him but it might be enough for him to never come back to the city cause he would be scared of us... probably more scared of me since I'm the one shooting you know?" Sima smirked as she saw Maria chuckled "yea i guess... thanks, your a good friend..." As Sima heard those words she felt proud of herself for cheering up Maria. As the two talked more Yu-Jun and Francis walked in with weapons in their hands "Shall we go know?" stated Francis as Sima looked at Maria as she saw her nod

They all went in the portal "That feeling is always so weird to me..." Francis said as they came out "You'll get used to it..." Maria replied. They all walked around before they all saw Okito "Oh shi-" before Sima could finish, Francis quickly covered her mouth to prevent her from talking. Okito looked around wondering where that sound came from as he shrugged and kept walking. "Do you all remember the plan?" Maria called out as everyone nodded "ok, here goes nothing..." she said as she created the portal underneath her and fell down.

As Okito was walking around the building Maria fell out of the sky and kicked Okitos head hard that he fell down on the ground as she landed with a backflip "Miss me..." she said as pointed her staff and Okito. "You pesky brat!" Okito growled as he got up and picked up his scythes as he was about to throw it Maria before came Yu-Jun blocked Okitos way on aiming the scythes at Maria with his sword and was strong enough to push him away.

Yu-Jun helped Maria get up as Okito stared at the both and laughed "you think you two could defeat me?! NO ONE CAN DEFEAT ME!" Maria rolled her eyes "it's three against one..." Okito stopped laughing and just stared "but theres only two?" Before Okito could turned around Francis hit Okitos face with a frying pan (it was the only thing i thought of) as he fell down, his face in pain "A frying pan, my love?" Yu-Jun questioned as Francis looked at him with a smile.

Before anything Okito popped up behind Francis and grabbed him by the neck and threw him so hard on the ground that he blacked out "Francis!" Yu-Jun dropped his sword and ran to check if Francis was ok. "You all are fools if you think you can defeat me!" Okito yelled out before Maria hits his face with her staff and okito growled in pain "why do you have to his my face!" He yelled out before grabbing his scythe and running towards Maria as she blocked his way but failed a she fell to the ground.

Okito pointed his scythe at Maria and grinned showing all his sharp teeth "what did i tell you purple girl... you cant defeat me..." Maria tried backing away but okito aimed the scythe at her neck not afraid to chop it off "you might be an ONI and more powerful to me but i will never be a monster that you are... we will never fall!" Before anything Sima showed herself and shot okito stomach but.. failed... Okito quickly dodged as he turned his head around and saw the crystal, his eyes widened and looked back at Sima with a glare. Sima eyes widened when she missed the shot before she could say anything Okito ran to Sima and grabbed her by the neck chocking her so she wasn't able to breathe. When Sima started screaming for her life, francis woke up and saw the last thing he ever wanted to see "Sima!" He yelled as her grabbed the gun "LET GO OF MY SISTER NOW YOU MONSTER!" he yelled before shooting Okitos hip as he dropped Sima on the pain.

Francis ran towards his sister and grabbed her as he saw his sister unconscious "sima...? Sima wake up.. sima wake up please! If you actually fucking die i will kill you, you fucking cunt...!" He said with tears as he tried shaking his sister to wake up but she wasn't, Francis looked away crying as he saw his sister dead in his grasp....

Gasp, Sima opened her eyes and started breathing heavily as her brother looked back "Sima you fucking bitch!" He yelled before he hugged his sister tight afraid to let her go "i thought you were dead you fucking cunt..." Sima hugged her brother back and she chuckled "i cant die that easily you know.." she said as Francis held her tight. Okito looked over his right hip and saw the crystals power spreading all over his body as he felt weaker and fell down on the ground. He noticed that there was a shadow blocking him so he looked up and saw Maria looking at him as she knelt down and gripped his chin "listen to me you monster, you will never come back here ever again.." before okito could say anything he got teleported by surprise and fell as Maria heard him scream but didn't care as she closed the portal and ran towards Sima to check on her.

Maria ran towards Sima to check if she was ok and when she did there was a big red mark on her neck from Okito choking her “That fucking monster… if i ever see him i will kill it…” Francis said his tone filled with rage as Yu-Jun tried to calm him down “Oh he wont… cause i would be the one dealing with him…” Francis looked at Maria with a confused expression “Wait why you?” Yu-Jun questioned her as Maria sighed and sat on the ground and told them.

“I sent him to where i first met him, in the forest where i lived, so if he ever attacks he has to attack me…” Maria admitted as Francis looked at maria with a surprised expression “you? You have to fight that monster by yourself…?” Maria looked down and sighed “I was the one who met him first.. I could’ve send him to anywhere i desire… but i didn’t and i don’t know why..” she admit as they looked at her with a worried expression.

“I don’t think I’m gonna have the energy to get up…” Sima suddenly spoke as all eyes were on her “like seriously… i feel like if i got up right now I’m gonna piss myself cause of how scared i was and still am…” she admitted as Francis laughed at her “Do you want me to teleport you to the lair?” “Nah it fine.. plus i really wanted a piggy back with someone.” Sima smirked and looked at her bother who rolled his eyes and sighed “Fine, but if you break my back i will kill you.”

They all got up as Yu-Jun and Maria waited for Francis and Sima “Ugh.. your so heavy..” Sima rolled her eyes “what are you trying to say, I eat too much? Not my fault that your food is good…” she replied as she climbed on her bothers back and wrapped her arms around his neck “Onwards peasant!” Sima spat out as her bother scoffed “shut the fuck up before a actually drop you to the ground you little shit” Francis threatened as Sima didn’t say a word too scared to say anything that might upset him “someones on his period..” she mumbled as they kept walking.

When they made it Francis put down Sima as they all walked inside the lair, all but Maria. Sima turned to look at Maria
”Don’t you want to come in?” Sima questioned her as she sighed and looked down “I need to go back to my monastery.. but i will visit!” She promised to Sima as she looked at her with a smile as Maria went up to her and hug her. Sima was surprised as she started shaking slightly, not happy that the hero of Zeno is hugging her just in slight fear… Sima took deep breath as her a shaking stopped and hugged back.

Maria pulled away and created a portal to go to the forest “tell Francis and Yu-Jun i said bye…” Sima smiled and nodded as Maria waved goodbye and went inside the portal and entered the forest and started walking. As maria started walking someone grabbed her by her wrist but Maria kicked them to the ground and stood in front of them covering their way. “Your lucky i didn’t send you the cursed realm… Okito” Okito growled as he took off his hood and quickly lunged at her pinning her to the ground and whispered to her ear.

“I should’ve eaten you when i had the chance, purple girl…” before Maria said anything Okito was about to bite her before she quickly kicked him on the stomach making him back away as she quickly got up and gripped his chin “and I should’ve killed you when i had the chance but here i am giving you mercy… you can mess with me just not in the city of Zeno… that all i asked leave them out of it understood, ONI..?” She questioned him as the ONI growled at her and scoffed “Fine… you pesky human…” he answered as Maria let go of his chin and walked away.

A few days later have already past for everyone in the group. They were all in the hideout talking, hanging out and having fun. "Finally, we deserve a little break from fighting that monster, he knew he couldn't stand a chance against us!" Sima laughed as her brother looked at her and yelled "he literally chocked you to death what do you mean?!" Sima just groaned and rolled her eyes "at least we won right! I cant die that easily." She replied with a smirk while her brother looked at her with annoyance.

"So uh... hows it being with Okito in the forest Maria..?" Yu-Jun asked her as Maria sighed and looked at him with a tired expression "he tried to eat me, fight me, and barged into my monastery multiple times.... Im about to send him to the underworld but i cant since it makes me weak..." everyone looked at maria with shocked expression as Francis growled in anger as he heard the name 'Okito' "I hate that fucking demon... I see him again and i will end him..." he raged as Yu-Jun stroked his back making him calm down a bit.

While the others remained talking all of a sudden they all heard a loud bang from outside. "Are you FUCKING kidding me?" Sima groaned as everyone got up and went outside to check what that loud bang was. As they all found the one who caused the loud bang Sima pulled out her gun and pointed it at the them "you just HAD to ruin my break, did ya?" She said as she heard a laugh from them as they quickly turned around and Simas eyes widened "Oh Sima my love! Its been so long...~" they said as Sima just kept pointing her gun at her "Everett..." she whispered as she heard another laugh from her

She had a light blue short hair, he figure was flat but curvy, she had light brown jeans which were ripped and and a belt lowered at her waist, she had a dark blue vest that revealed her chest and her eyes were blue and brown.

"Oh how i missed my sweet Sima... have you missed me..?~" she asked as Maria looked at Sima with confusion as Sima just looked at Everett with a fierce you "you all leave... this is my fight to face..." "But sima-" before francis said anything he was cut off "Leave now..." she said as Francis looked at her then Yu-Jun and just sighed and left quickly with Yu-Jun following. "If you think I'm leaving you with that thing then your wrong.." Maria said as Sima sighed and nodded as Maria quickly made a portal to grab her staff to fight this new comer...

"Oh my dear Sima... would you really attack me...?" Everett smirked at Sima as she looked at her with a fierce look. Maria looked at Sima with slight confusion "who is this?" Asked Maria as Sima didn't bother looking at her "an old friend..." Sima answered as Maria looked back at Everett pointing her staff at her "Well, well, well aren't i lucky that i finally meet THE Maria Yumi!" Everett giggled as she stepped closer to them.

When Everett stepped closer Sima gave her warning shot making her step back. "Step back." Sima hissed as Everett laughed and grabbed two guns from her pocket "You really thought that i didn't have weapons? Cmon Sima, i know your smarter than that..." she snickered as she suddenly started to shoot at them but Maria went in front of Sima and started to swing her staff blocking all the bullets that Everett was shooting.

As Everett kept shooting Maria quickly teleported away making Everett look around but she suddenly groaned in pain as she felt a sharp sting on her shoulder. She looked over and saw blood coming out and quickly turned to look at Sima with anger and she pointed the gun her. She was about to shoot until Maria teleported out the sky and jumped on Everett making her fall on the ground.

"Get off me purple haired freak!" Everett yelled out in anger as she tried to push Maria away but unfortunately failed as Maria held her hands behind her back as Sima walked up at them and looked down to look at Everett "You just HAD to interrupt my break huh?" Sima said making Everett growl "a feisty one this one." Maria observed making Sima chuckle "very.." she smirked as she held Everetts chin gently making her look up.

Everett groaned as she tried biting Sima's finger but she quickly pulled away a little scared of getting her finger bit off. "Scared?" She joked making Sima roll her eyes "let's bring her back in the lair.. she might tell us why she decided to disturb us" Sima asked making Maria but Everett wasn't gonna have it.

Suddenly Everett kicked Sima stomach making her bend down in pain and then pushing Maria wall hard making her let go as she groaned in pain and quickly got on her motorcycle and got on "It was nice to see you my sweet Sima!" Everett yelled out as she quickly drove away. Maria tried teleporting her back but Sima grabbed her hands from behind "Maria... Im in fucking pain right now I'm on my period and this bitch decided to kick me on the stomach..." Maria quickly helped her up and teleported them both back to the hideout.

Chapter Text

As Maria teleported her and Sima back to the hideout, Sima fell on top of the couch groaning in pain as her brother got up and looked at her with a very worried expression. “What happened to Sima?!” Maria was about to speak but she was interrupted by the sounds of Sima groaning in pain. “She kicked me on my stomach and now I’m in pain!” Sima yelled as she clutched her stomach “Im on my damn period, i just started today man!” She cried as Francis sighed and went to grab a heating pad from the kitchen.

Francis came back with the heating pad and put it on her stomach “Do you feel better now?” He asked as Sima nodded her head and turned around, her back facing everyone. “Is someone going to tell me who the hell was that…?” Maria suddenly spoke as Yu-Jun looked at her awkwardly “That was… Everett…” he spoke as he rubbed the back of his head as Maria rolled her eyes and sighed.

“Well that doesn’t tell me anything, how do you guys know her?” Maria spoke “We don’t really know her that well but there is someone here who knows her very well..” Francis spoke as he looked at Sima. Sima sighed as she turned around, sat up to face everyone.

“… Everett was my friend when i was little, in fact she was my only friend… the only person who didn’t bully me or treated me like I was an animal due to my appearance. One day I was walking around the city minding my own business until I heard a scream from a near by alley. My stupid ass decided to would be a good idea to check it out so I did, I walked in the alley, looking around until I saw Everett just… standing there. When she turned and face me I was shocked to see her holding a bloody knife and I was more shocked to see a dead body lying there on the ground near her… I knew she was a little cu-cu in the head but not that cu-cu! So I just ran away in fear.. she tried apologising or trying to tell me that she had to do it for some odd reason but i wasn’t having any of that so I.. I felt her…”

Maria’s eyes widened when Sima was done explaining, she didn’t know what to say and so did the others! “You never told me about all of this?” Francis questioned as Sima looked down guilt spreading all over her face “I-I know i just got too scared, I’m sorry…” Sima apologised to Francis hoping he wasn’t mad or anything. Francis sighed as he held Sima’s chin up so she was looking at him “as long as you weren’t then it’s fine, but next time you HAVE to tell me everything.” Sima nodded and hugged her brother. Francis was slightly surprised but then smiled and hugged her back “What would you do without me…”

Chapter Text

In a office, there was a man sitting down looking at the window while smoking on a cigarette. The man’s appearance was that he wax very pale, he had long dark blue hair, he had blacks eyes and on his forehead he had a Dimond tattoo. His attire was that his clothes were all back and the strips on his clothes were purple.

He was just admiring at the view as he continues to take a puff on his cigarette. He then put his cigarette on the ash tray and took a deep breath “I can hear you Everett…” he called out making Everett jump down from the ceiling on his desk sitting there with her legs crossed.

“How can you even hear me? I was so stealthy, like a ninja.” She giggled as the man just looked at her with no emotion on his face “did you bomb the building like I asked you to?” He asked making Everett look at him with a smirk “Oh Saylis your so silly for thinking I didn’t obey your command, but there was a little problem...”

“What type of problem?” The man now identifies a Saylis asked Everett who grabbed the knife from his desk and admiring “Maria Yumi… when I was having fun with bombing the building she and… someone else… stopped me… but I escaped!” She explained “and who was this ‘someone’ she was with?” Asked Saylis making Everett slightly nervous.

“Do you remember my friend… Sima?” Saylis nodded his head “Well she was with her… fighting me…” said Everett making her turn away from him. Saylis hummed in amusement and got up from his chair to stand in front of Everett and grabbing her chin so she was looking up at him.

“You don’t need her anymore… shes a distraction that will make you avoid the jobs I have for you, you don’t need her anymore… she left you when she was your only friend… she doesn’t deserve you Everett.. your everything she isnt..” Everett looked at Saylis. Her expression sad but thought he was right. She pulled Saylis into a tight hug making him flinch but slowy hugged back “She wont get in my way next time…”

Chapter Text

It’s been a 3 days since Everett came in Zeno and attacked Maria and Sima. Maria was at the Forest checking on her monastery and checking if Okito was doing no good so the only people in the base were really Sima, Yu-Jun, and Francis. Sima was trying to make the base more secure so if anyone break in it would have more security. Obviously Sima was having trouble adding up the map she went up to her brother for his help.

“Hey you gay twat I need help for securing the base” Francis looked at Sima with his eyebrow raised “Sure I’ll help… don’t call me gay twat ya fat-ass.” Francis replied making Sima gasp dramatically “Wow you are SO rude.” “Well you started it!” Sima rolled her eyes and smirked “yeah, yeah whatever..” Sima and Francis went up to her desk to check out the blue print so they can get started.

Meanwhile Yu-Jun was busy training and minding his business, he suddenly heard yelling coming from Francis and Sima and sighed knowing they were arguing about silly. So being the problem solver he came up to the both of them to check what was going on. “Hey guys whats going on?” He asked as the both of them stopped yelling and looked at Yu-Jun.

“Yu-Jun, tell this fat-ass that we should also add extra locks and cameras for intruders!” He yelled back Sima gasp “Yu-Jun, tell your boyfriend that we don’t NEED to add more locks and cameras and we can just have the lock down!” Yu-jun just looked at the both of them not knowing what to say or do. He was about to speak but he was interrupted by Francis.

“Look, all I’m saying is that we can add the lockdown but we can also add more so that it’s more safe for you!” “Safe for me? Francis I told you this multiple fucking times that I’m not a little girl anymore and that i don’t need protecting, why can you understand that?!-“ “CAUSE I DON’T WANT THAT MONSTER TO COME BACK AND CHOCK YOU AGAIN!” he yelled making Sima stop talking as Yu-Jun looked at his boyfriend with wide eyes.

“… Francis?” Sima called out but her brother didn’t respond and just looked down as he gripped on his knuckles. Yu-Jun decided to finally step in and break the 2 apart “Hey uh Francis, how about we go on a walk together to calm you down…?” He asked as his lover looked at him and sighed “Fine…” he agreed and soon they both walked out of the base leaving Sima alone. Sima suddenly fell on her knees and started crying, regretting how she acted to her brother.

Yu-Jun and Francis walked out of the base and took a walk around Zeno as Yu-Jun was hearing Francis complain about Sima. “She should listen to me you know, like I’M her older brother, I know whats best for her.” Yu-Jun just nodded his head and listened, trying not to make it a bigger problem “I just… want to protect her from anyone harming her like our uncle did…” Francis said, his voice dropping. Yu-Jun decided to finally say something hoping it wont escalate the problem.

“I mean you are correct but shes write.. shes not your baby sister anymore- I-I mean she’s obviously still YOUR baby sister but you know what I mean..” “…Yea I guess your right… i just don’t want THAT to happen again… I should go and apologise for how acted..” “yea you should cause the poor thing is crying because of you.” Yu-Jun said making Francis guilty. Yu-Jun noticed and grabbed his face gently “Look how about we go to the store and get her some chocolate cause shes on her period and apologise to her, alright?” Francis nodded his head agreeing with his boyfriend as Yu-Jun pulled him into a kiss and then pulling away making Francis red as they went to store to buy chocolate.

Sima was still on the ground, guilty for yelling at her brother. Suddenly the door opened making Sima get up as she saw her brother and his lover with a chocolate bar making her hungry. Francis was too scared to walk up to Sima so Yu-Jun had to push him towards. Francis looked at Sima with a guilty expression and sighed “Look, Im so sorry for yelling at you… I was just trying to protect you from any harm.. I didn’t want you to deal with that again…” he said as he stroked his sister’s cheek. “I’m sorry too.. for yelling at you… I didn’t know you were trying to protect me from that…” she apologised as she hugged her brother making him freeze but hugged back. “I got you chocolate…” He gave Sima the chocolate bar to Sima as she opened it and took a bite of it “Mmm… thanks gay twat.” Sima said making him roll his eyes.

While the other were trying to secure the base, Maria was walking around the forest making sure Okito wasn't doing anything bad. She kept walking around until she stopped and saw her monastery. She decided to go check it out if something happened. She went inside and walked around for a bit, looking to see if anything suspicious was there.

While maria was walking around she suddenly stopped to see a small picture on a table in a room. She went inside and grabbed the picture on the table to see what it was. It was just a photo of her when she was a child and someone else... her sensei... "I miss you sensei..." she mourned as she felt tears come down her cheek and set the photo and decided to look somewhere.

She kept looking around until she suddenly heard a noise. She quickly turned around in a fighting stance but nothing was there, until she looked down. There was a crow standing there and looking up at Maria, she sighed and looked at the crow with a confused look. "How the fuck did you get in my monastery... I swear I closed the door when i came in..."

Just when Maria was about to pick up the crow it suddenly turned into a man making Marias eyes widen as she stepped back. "Who are you and how did you get in my monastery...?" She questioned the man as he just smirked "Well, well, well... if it isn't Maria Yumi..." he chuckled "you haven't answered my question... Who are you and what are you doing in my monastery..." she growled "My name is Saylis...."

Maria was about to speak until Saylis suddenly disappeared. "I heard your little encounter with Everett... shes told me so much about you my dear..." Maria tried looking around to see where he was but only his voice was heard "What are you planning... why are you bombing buildings..?" She questioned "Bombing building is just my way of having... fun... and what I'm planning is ruling this city... making this city in my imagine..."

"Not in my watch... I wont let you.." Maria growled making laugh "is that a promise or a threat...? Because you promised to bring back your sensei and yet… you haven’t brought back…” he stated making her gasp “How did you…” “you really think i wouldn’t know that..? You really are naive…” he said getting on her nerves

“You know whats funny…? You call yourself his daughter when really your his BIGGEST mistake…” “get out of my head…” she groaned as she started to hold her head “Oh but why…? It’s so fun making you get on your nerves…” he whispered making maria roar in anger “GET OUT OF MY HEAD!” she yelled as he suddenly appeared behind her holding her shoulders and whispering in her ear “oh Maria… you try acting tough on the outside but really your just weak and pathetic in the inside… remember that..” he whispered as he disappeared again as maria fell on her knees and started crying loudly.

A few hours later Maria stopped crying and just hugged her knees and thought about what Saylis said. "You call yourself his daughter when really your his BIGGEST mistake..." She thought and sighed "I will get you back sensei..." she promised herself and remained there hugging her knees for a bit.

As Maria was sitting there she started thinking... if Saylis was going to rule Zeno and transform it into his own image she would NEED go and tell the others about this and form a plan... so without any thinking she quickly got up and ran out of the monastery to inform her friends.

As she ran she bumped into someone and fell down, she groaned as she looked up to see Okito standing there with a smirk as he bent down and leaned closer to Maria “Well if it isn’t purple girl disturbing my day… your lucky I’m not hungry but for the past few days I’ve been… bored…” he said raising an eyebrow on Maria’s face.

“I don’t care if your bored get off of me at once you ONI…” she argued, not bothered to deal with Okito’s shit “Oh cmon… I thought we could have a little fight! I want to do something entertaining..” “as I said, I don’t care if your bored get off me you stupid ONI…” she growled as she pushed Okito off her and walk away.

Okito sighed dramatically and lied there looking at maria with a smirk “Alright, alright… I guess your too much of a pussy to fight me then…” Maria stopped walking and turned around to walk towards Okito. She grabbed him by his collar so he would leave “May I remind you on who defeated you and send here on my watch…” she said “yea, yea it was you… so your gonna fight me or what…?” He questioned.

Maria thought about it and sighed, she let go of Okito and got in a fighting stance. Okito watched and started laughing as he got up and formed a scythe in his hand “Let’s see how long you last this time….” He said as he attacked first.

He swung his scythe multiple times but Maria would always dodge it. Maria created herself a portal and jumped in quickly before Okito could attack. He looked around trying to find her but nothing. As he kept looking around all of a sudden Maria teleported out of the air and jumped on Okito.

When Maria jumped on Okito it made him fall back dropping his scythe somewhere as Maria pinned him and laughed “Who’s the pussy now?” “It’s still you!” Before Maria could say anything Okito rolled over and changed positions making his pin down Maria.

Maria tried to push him off but nothing making him smirk. “What the matter, is the ‘all powerful Maria’ trapped by the wraths of an ONI?” He laughed as Maria tried pushing him off but failed.

This made him laugh as he saw her struggle and leaned close to her ears “What are you going to do now Purple girl… accept your defeat?” He asked “no.. this.” She said making him confused as she teleported again making him fall on his face as she appeared again, turning him around with her foot and put her foot on his stomach making him gasp.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk… what are YOU going to do now ONI… accept your defeat..?~” she teased making him growl as he tried getting up but fell make down and groan as Maria put her foot harder on his stomach. “Go on…” she leaned in “accept your defeat…” she whispered as Okito mumbled something.

“What was that? I couldn’t quite catch that…” she smirked as Okito yelled out in anger “I accept my defeat! Now can you remove your foot on my stomach…” Maria moved her foot away from his stomach and walked away. “Ill get you next time.. and Ill make sure it’ll HURT…”

Maria finally arrived at the base and teleported inside the base popping up behind Francis. "I know who is bombing up the buildings-" "AHHHHHHHHH!" Francis screamed as he got up quickly and grabbed a dagger pointing it Maria. Sima jumped when Francis screamed making her wake up from her sleep "Maria? Don't fucking do that man?" Francis said putting the dagger down

"You scream like a little girl you gay twat..." Sima said sitting up and tied her hair and looking at the two. "Was Okito doing anything suspicious?" Sima asked "nope.." she lied not wanting to bring up the fact that her and Okito were literally play fighting "Thats surprising coming from the fact that he's a legit monster." Francis spoke boldly making Sima roll her eyes.

"So did anything happen while you were gone?" Sima asked. Before Maria could speak Yu-Jun came out of the bathroom looking like he just came out of a shower. "Bro how long was I asleep?" "An hour-"An hour?! Yu-Jun your paying for our water bills you dumb bi- -" "Enough!" Maria yelled out making everyone quiet as she took a deep breath and started explaining what had happened

"There is this man named Saylis.. the reason why we saw Everett is because she was ordered to destroy buildings but thats not it. He's also planning on ruling Zeno... turning it into his own image..." she explained making Simas eyes widened in horror "all this time... she was just following orders from a Monster.... I should've listen to her when she was trying to explain... I should've have forgiven her when she was trying to-" "Its a little too late for that now Sima..." a voice called out.

Everyone was looking around trying to find who that was "I thought I maximised our security..?” She questioned “It’s called hacking… My love..” they said as they finally came out from the shadows. Sima froze when she saw her make Everett giggle “What, Too stunned to speak?” She spoke and pulled out a grenade from her pocket.

“It’s a-shame that I have to bomb this place… but it’s what Saylis ordered me… and I wont let anything get in my way…” she growled. Before the others were about to attack her Sima stopped them “Sima what are you doing?” Francis asked “Please just trust me…” she spoke as she turned around facing Everett and walking up to her.

Everett looked at Sima with confusion and was about to say something before Sima took her hand and held it gently making Everett blush and smirk a bit “Everett… You don’t have to do this… You don’t have to listen to him… please I’m.. I’m sorry…” she pleaded as tears started to form. Everett face soften when she saw the tears in her eyes but shook it

“You don’t understand do you? I have to do this… he took me in when nobody did… he took care of me… and he didnt leave me when you did..” she spoke sharply “But he will! He will leave you when he wont need you, I need you Everett! Please…” she begged but nothing.

She slowly pulled away from Simas touch and stepped back and grabbed her grenade and was about to pull the pin but Maria jumped in kicking Everett in the stomach and made a portal for the grenade to fall in so didn’t explode in the lair. Everett tried to escape but she was held down by Maria. Maria pinned her down so she wouldn’t go nowhere “where do you think your going hmm..?”

Chapter Text

Maria tried to pin her down and it was working until Everett pushed and tried to run away. Maria made a portal to grab her staff to teleport herself in front of Everett and swag her staff that aimed for her head which knocked her out.

"Everett!" Sima yelled as she got on her knees to check if she was ok. "Calm down she'll wake up in a few minutes, right?" Francis asked as he looked at Maria who was poking Everett with her staff and looked at him nonchalantly "yea and when she does I'm gonna get answers..."

A few minutes later Everett woke up with "Ugh, my head.." she groaned as she tried to move but failed. She looked down to realise that she was tied up to a chair. She looked up to see Maria walking towards with a fierce look.

"Looks like someone had a good nap.." she said making Everett growl. "Let me go you purple haired freak!" She yelled making Maria scoff "I wouldn't be talking you know.. you go inside random building's and blow them up with innocent lives in it" she spoke making Everett laugh creepily.

"Oh your cracking me up! Now, be a good girl and untie me.." she teased "Don't call me 'good girl' you disgusting fool..." she warned making Everett smirk "Now tell us why Saylis wants to rule the city...?" She questioned making her chuckle "Oh so you two have met, huh? Ha! I knew it..." "you didn't answer my question. Why does he wanna rule Zeno?!" She yelled "Hmm, I don't think I want to.." she whispered getting on Maria's nerves.

"Why does he wanna rule the city so bad?" Asked Francis, nothing. "Why is he exploding building knowing that he's killing innocent lives in it?" Asked Yu-Jun, still no reply. "Ok then if your not gonna say shit then i might know someone who will..." Maria said looking at Sima who was just playing with her hair.

Maria teleported behind Sima and pushed her towards Everett making her squeal "Maria what are you doing?" Sima asked "Getting answers.." she replied as she pushed her towards Everett who was looking at her with amusement.

"Hey Darling..~" Everett teased making her blush a bit but shook it off and got her knees so that she wasn't looking down  "Umm... Can you please tell us why Saylis is trying to rule the city?" She asked making Everett smirk "Your so cute when you beg..” she teased again making her blush even more.

“Hey! Stop Flirting with my sister your fucking!-“ before he could say anything, Yu-Jun covered his mouth quickly as Everett looked at him and laughed “I just love how you all are trying to get answers from me, nothing is going to work!” She smiled. As the others were still trying to get answers Sima got a idea.

“Not even for a kiss?” She asked as Everyone fell silent and looked at her. Everyone was surprised but Francis was shocked and a ‘bit’ angry “Oh you are not going kiss that bitch sima!” He yelled as he was about to pull Sima away before Yu-Jun and Maria grabbed him “Hey, let me go!” He called out “sorry love but we need answers” he apologised as Francis, Yu-Jun and Maria stared at the two.

Everett looked at Sima, her smile turned into a grin “Anywhere I want?” She asked. Sima sighed and nodded her head making her grin grow even wider “hmm let me think- on my lips please.” She said with no hesitation making her blush but she knew what she had to do.

Sima leaned closer and was about to kiss her before Francis broke free from Yu-Jun and Maria and ran towards Sima and pulled her away from her “Oh cmon man!? I was gonna get my kiss from the love of my life!” “Shut your bitch ass up and give up answers you little shit before we force you…” Francis threaten, no joke in his tone as he looked at Everett with a glare.

Francis walked up to everett and leaned towards her with a glare on his face "You are going to tell why the fuck does Saylis want to rule Zeno." He said no joke in his tone of voice. Everett just looked at Francis with no care in her expression.

"If you want me to answer then i need a kiss!" She yelled as everyone looked at Sima maling her blush in embarrassment. "Oh hell no you are NOT getting a kiss from my innocent little sister you fucking terrorist!" He argued "Fine, be like that but your not getting answers from me then."

As the two kept arguing, Yu-jun grabbed Francis and pulled him in to talk "Excuse us.." he spoke as the two went to talk on the corner in the living room. As the two were discussing from afar, Maria teleported from behind Everett and put her hands on her shoulders making her shiver silently as she turned her head facing Maria.

"So tell me.. why do you work for Saylis? You know hes gonna leave you when you have no use for him right?" She spoke making Everett laugh sarcastically as she moved her shoulders away from her touch.

"Yea right! He wont ditch me... he would never do that..." she said "And what makes you think that, What makes you think that he would NEVER ditch you at all?" She asked "Because he treats me like I'm his daughter, he gives me the love I mourned from my parents which I never got.." she replied, a hint of sadness in her tone making Maria expression soften but shook it later.

As Maria walked towards Yu-Jun and Francis to see what they were discussing, Sima looked at Everett with guilt. “… I really am sorry you know… for leaving you..” she said as she heard Everett scoff “you don’t understand how much tears have rolled down my cheek because of you… you were my only friend and you left me… you ran never came back… you broke me..”

Sima just looked at her, her eyes wide open as she looked down as guilt was spreading all over her face. Maria, Yu-Jun and Francis came back from there discussion as Yu-Jun was the first to speak “Ok so we have decided that if we want answers Sima WILL kiss you if you give us answers first..” Yu-Jun told her “Hmm.. no.” She said nonchalantly as Francis walked up to a near by wall and hit his head on it multiple times.

“Im gonna go check out him..” Sima sighed as she got up to see her brother. Maria looked at Everett “If your gonna be like that then fine but just to let you know that your not leaving until you give us answers..” she spoke darkly as Everett started laughing like crazy making everyone look at her “Oh that wont be an issue…” she chuckled making everyone confused until there was a loud bang from outside.

Chapter Text

There was a loud bang that was coming from outside. Everybody turned their heads at the sound and looked at each other with a shocked expression, the only person who was calm and collected was Everett who was smirking the whole time.

"I think you guys should check that out... maybe something happened.." she said as she broke the silence. Maria looked at Everett with a glare on her face "Yu-Jun and Francis, you guys stay here and keep watch of Everett while me and Sima check whats going on from outside.

They all nodded their heads as Maria and Sima both ran out of the lair leaving Yu-Jun and Francis to keep watch of Everett. "Hey, why cant Sima watch over me man? Are you cheating on me!?" Yelled Everett as Yu-Jun looked at her confused while Francis looked at her with a judging look ".... Girl shut your bitch-ass up."

As Sima and Maria ran to check out what was going on, there were 2 figures standing there watching a building get destroyed as they turned around to look at the 2 and pulled at swords from behind. Maria and Sima couldn't quite see their faces because they were covered by mask to protect their identity.

As the 2 figures whipped out their swords, they pointed it at the duo making Maria scoff "this is gonna be easy.." she muttered as she teleported her staff from the air, making it fall down and caught and whipped around and then held it, the bottom tip cracking the ground a little while Sima grabbed her gun from her belt and pointed at the 2 figures.

Maria was about to speak until one of the figures ran towards and attacking her by swinging their sword, aiming it for her head. Maria being Maria bent down to dodge the attack and swag her staff at their legs making them fall down on the ground.

Meanwhile with Sima, She was shooting the other figure down but they kept dodging her attack and swung their sword as Sima dropped her gun and quickly held down on the sword that was trying to slice her head open in half. The figure tried to pull away so they could attack again but Sima was too strong. As they tried pulling away, Sima kicked them on the stomach making the drop their sword making it an advantage for Sima to grab her gun from the ground and pointed it at them.

With Maria the figure was still on the ground trying to get up but Maria pressed the bottom of the staff hard on the ground making cracks as she was trying to aim for their stomach but couldn't since they were moving too much. As Maria kept doing this, the figure suddenly grabbed her staff and threw it off somewhere and kicked Marias stomach and got up quickly.

The figure was trying to grab the other figure from Sima but it was too late. Sima pulled the trigger shooting them as blood was dripping down their body spilling everywhere including Simas face. Maria looked at Sima with a shocked expression, she had never seen Sima kill a person before, heck even Sima was shocked to realise what she did. Sure she has shot people before but they only got injured not killed!

As they were both distracted, the other figure grabbed a smoke bomb and threw it on the ground making them disappear. Only Maria got her attention back when there was smoke everywhere and quickly teleported to grab her staff and then grabbed Simas by the waist making her flinch as they were both back in the lair.

As they got back, they were shocked to see Francis and Yu-Jun on the floor, glass everywhere and another figure who was holding Everett on one hand and the other holding the grappling gun suddenly going up quickly. Everett looked at sima with a smirk as she waved at her goodbye “Ill see you again my darling Sima! Heh… I promise..”

Chapter Text

Looking out the window, smoking on his cigarette and watching buildings getting destroyed, Saylis heard a knock on the door and turned his head around "Come in" he ordered as the figure opened the door.  "We got her back, sir" they said as Saylis looked back at the window and continued to spoke on his cigarette "...Bring her in" he commanded as the figure nodded his head and went to bring Everett.

The figure brought back Everett as Saylis signalled him to leave them alone. When the figure left, Saylis turned his head and looked at Everett with a glare "Mind telling me where you've been..?" He asked as Everett climbed on Saylis's lap as if she was his daughter and looked at him with a smirk.

"Oh I was just walking around bombing building until I stumbled open a weird looking door. I tried opening it but it was locked. I looked around for a bit till i realised in-front of the door was a password I needed to unlock so I hacked it. I went inside and to my surprise it was Sima and Maria and two other people that aren't important and you know what they did? They attacked me! For no reason!" She explained but lied at the last part.

"And then they tied me up to a chair and tried to get me to say answers but it didn't work cause they got distracted when you sent and I was able to get away." She finished and looked at Saylis with an innocent looking expression on her face making Saylis hum a little.

"I sent four people to come get you and when they came back there was only three... what happened to the fourth one..?" He asked as he put his cigarette on the ash tray "Oh that? I think Sima killed him cause there was blood all over her face and MY GOSH WAS SHE SO HOT!" She yelled at the last part making Saylis raise a brow.

"What did we talk about Everett... with these.... Distractions." He brought up, making everett wiping the smile that was on her face. “… That I shouldn’t pay attention and focus on the job at hand I know-“ “If you know then why do you keep disobeying my command.. I trust you an Everett… I trust you to do exactly what I say and yet you keep disobeying that one command… and you’ve seen me get very upset when people disobey me, right…?” He asked Everett grabbing her chin gently but firmly making her look at him “Y-yes..” she answered “then don’t disobey me if you don’t want that to happen…”

Chapter Text

Maria and Sima ran towards Yu-Jun and Francis to wake them up. "Ugh, what happened..?" Francis groaned as he woke up and looked at his sister "Your nose is bleeding.." "Im bleeding? Look at yourself, your covered in blood! Did they hurt you? I swear to the goodness of Zeno herself i will!-" "I didn't get hurt Francis don't worry I'm... fine.."

While Sima was helping her brother up, Maria was trying to wake up Yu-Jun but he wasn't waking up at all which worried a bit
"Why isn't Yu-Jun waking up..?" Maria called out making Sima and Francis turned their heads. "What?!" Yelled Francis as he rushed towards Yu-Jun to see if he was ok.

Francis leaned his head on Yu-Jun to see if his heart was beating or not "oh thank Zeno he's still breathing" he sighed in relief as he pulled his head away from his chest and tried to shake him awake but unfortunately wasn't working. "Im so sorry my love but I kinda need to do this.." he apologised. Just when Sima when was about to question him, Francis suddenly slapped Yu-Jun's face, making him wake up with a gasp.

"Am I in the afterlife?!" Yu-Jun yelled making Francis chuckle a bit "No, your still here..." "Oh... why does my cheek hurt so bad?" "You weren't waking up so I had to slap you, did I do it too hard?" "Well yea, my cheek is red.." "Sorry my love.." he apologised and kissed Yu-Jun's cheek making his cheeks more red.

While Yu-Jun and Francis were talking (making out) Maria noticed that Sima didn't say anything was unusual of her since she always teases Francis and Yu-Jun for doing anything love related. "Are you ok?" She asked, making Sima's head turn. "I'm fine.." she said, making it pretty obvious that shes lying.

"Sima you can tell me the truth you know.. you usually bully your brother every time he does something romantic with Yu-Jun.." she said, making Sima silent for a while until she spoke up. "Am I a murderer..?" She asked Maria, who was looking at her with her eyed wide open.

"Of course not Sima...these things happen sometimes-" "have they happened to you before...?" She interrupted, as Maria fell silent "You've saved countless lives in Zeno.. you've been in many fights with bad people... have you ever killed someone before..?" She asked her with tears in her eyes "...I have.. and it's an unforgivable feeling that will always leave them come back to haunt you.. trust me, I know..."

Sima looked at Maria with a shocked expression. "...who?" She asked "I was young... I was trying to catch someone who had kidnapped and murdered people... I had them blocked in an alleyway and instead of trying to block their way with my staff I... I stabbed them on their chest.. I couldn't look at myself after that..."

Sima was surprised, shocked even. She knew that Maria had to fight bad guys but she never knew that she had killed one before. "..how old were you..?" Questioned Sima "...I was 13.." answered Maria who was trying to hold back her tears. "Do you wanna tell your brother about this.. maybe he'll help?-" "No, he cant ever know about this... ever.."

Chapter Text

Its been a week since Everett's crew came in ambushed the others and its been week since Sima killed someone. She couldn't stop thinking about it. She couldn't sleep for days because of it but when she does sleep she gets the same nightmare over and over again which makes her wake up with cold sweat.

Her brother noticed this about Sima and started to get concerned, so being the good brother that he is went up to check if she was alright. He walked towards her and started to speak "Hey Sima.. how are you?" He spoke making Sima raise her brown "Im good..." she lied "why?" Francis took a deep, deep breath and spoke "Ive noticed you've been a little off lately.. is everything ok?" He asked "Oh me? I'm fine, I'm just really stressed about you know... Everett and them." She lied hoping that her brother wouldn't notice

"Are you sure, You can talk to me if something serious happened?" He said "And I will! But nothing has happened so there isn't really much to talk about." She replied quickly making her brother look at her suspiciously but didn't want to push her so he just kissed her forehead and walked off.

Sima sighed in relief when her brother didn't push her or try ti get answers out of her but it also made her feel extremely guilty that she was lying to the person who saved her life from.... All these thoughts just kept coming back and never leaving her so she decided to go outside for some fresh air, hoping that it might help to forget about everything.

Sima got out of the building and climbed up some stairs to sit on top of another building. After what felt like years, Sima was up the building and sat down, taking a deep breath and hugged her knees and looked at the view. Since it was nighttime there were more lights on which Sima thought was beautiful but the sad thing was it was extremely foggy which was harder to see what was going on.

She closes her eyes and tried to forget the situation but it was in her head, getting bigger and bigger in each second. She tried to breathe but the thought of when her hands had blood on them, her face, the dead body... it just kept crawling back in her head. She tried to stay calm but she just ended up trembling and shaking until suddenly, she heard a voice...

"You know, the more you think about, the more guilt will eat you alive…”

Sima freezes and her blood runs cold. She turns her head around slowly and her eyes widen in shock, surprise and fear… it was Everett, just standing with a smile on her face as she got closer and closer to Sima which made her get up quickly. Sima didn’t have her gun or anything to protect her if Everett tried to attack her.

Everett raised both of her hands up to prove shes not here to fight. “You can relax my love.. I don’t have anything on me except my clothes.. if you want I can take them off for you to prove it-“ “No!” Sima interrupted making Everett jump a little in surprise which her blush in embarrassment.

“S-sorry I didn’t mean to yell I just…. What do you want?” She spoke as Everett put her hands down and just sat down “To relax.” She said making Sima look at her with surprise but also concerned expression on her face as she sat down next to her.

“Why, did something happen?” She asked “just wanna get my mind off things and have a break..” she answered her as she lied on her back and put her hands behind her head. Sima didn’t say anything and just looked at her for a while until she spoke up

“How were you able to get people to save you so quick?” She asked making Everett laugh “Your cute, but if your trying to get answers from me to give you and your friends info about Saylis, it’s still a no…” she said making Sima sigh in-defeat.

“Does it make me a bad person that I killed someone…?” She asked “You thought i was a bad person when you first saw me kill someone.” Everett responded making Sima wince “yea, no, sorry…” she said as she hugged her knees tightly.

Everett’s face soften as she noticed how Sima was acting but soon shook it off and spoke “The more you keep thinking about it the more overwhelmed your gonna feel, does your brother know?” She asked making Sima shake her head “Tell him.. he’s your brother after all.. he deserves to know…” she said making Sima look at her “What if he hates me… what if he just sees me as a monster…” she spoke out making Everett’s face soften again.

“He wont… sure he’ll get shocked, surprised or heck even mad but he’s still your brother and the only one who will stand by your side when no one will.. I would kill to see and talk to my older sister again..” Sima looked at Everett with a surprised look on her face “you had a sister?” She asked making Everett look down on the floor.

“My parents killed her when I was young…” she answered making Sima gasp “Where are your parents now?” Questioned Sima “In the underworld… being tortured over and over again for what they did to me and her.” She spoke as tears soon came down her cheek making Sima feel bad “did Saylis take you in?” She questioned making Everett hesitate but soon nodded her head “he’s like a father to me..” “A father who manipulates their child whenever they get their chance..?” She spoke out making Everett sit up and look at Sima with a glare.

“HE took me in when nobody did, HE took care of me when my own parents couldn’t even feed me, HE taught me to defend myself when nobody did.. and HE didn’t leave me like you did…” she spoke and got up and started to walk backwards which made Sima’s head turn

“I would never betray after all the things he has ever done for me.. he will always be by my side and never leave me like you did… it was nice talking to you” she said when suddenly she jumped off the building making Sima gasp making her run towards the end of the building but when she did… she wasn’t there.

(Hey chat so i might not add the fact that Maria wears braids cause the drawing i drew is kinda bootyhole honestly its your choice if you imagine her with braids.)

Chapter Text

The streets of the Zeno were quiet, too quiet. The sounds of boots stomping against the broken stone of the  echoes through the empty alleyways as the group started to walk around, their eyes scanning for any signs of Saylis his men. Smoke hung heavy in the air, the taste of ash started to cling in their throats.

Sima walked behind the others as her hands were shoved in her pockets, her head down. She looked at her brother, Francis, who was moving faster beside he with that same guarded look on his face for any signs of danger. She hesitated, but soon she spoke up.

”…Francis?” She muttered. He turned his head to look at her “Whats up?” He asked. “I…” her throat tightened, making her unable to speak. She tried again but this time her voce was low. “…The reason Ive been acting strange… it’s because of what happened when Saylis’s men came in. The fight. I-“

Before she could finish explaining, Marias voice cut through the air. “Everyone, over here!” They all turned as Maria bent down on the ground and started to brush the dirt and dust with her hands.

”What is it?” Yu-Jun asked, as he ran over to check out what Maria saw. Maria didn’t answer as she kept swiping the think layer of dust, revealing something that didn’t look like it was meant to be there. A wooden outline on the ground. She pressed the palm of her right hand flat against it and gave it a big shove. The wood made a squeaky nose and with a groan she pulled it roughly as it swung open.

A wave of stale, musty air rushed up from the darkness below. The team all bent down, looking down at the ladder disappearing into the shadows. 

“It’s a trapdoor.” Maria said sharply. Francis let out a low whistle. “Well… that was kinda obvious now since you opened it… but we should definitely go and check it out.”

Sima frowned, her stomach turning due to anxiety “What if its a dead end, or worse, a trap?”

Francis smirked at her and put his arm around her shoulder “Cmon, when has anything not been a trap these days?” Maria got up and straightened her posture, her hand wrapped around her staff tightly as of it was about to disappear.

”He’s right, if Saylis is hiding, it’ll be down here.. I just know it..” one by one, they all nodded. Yu-Jun grabbed the side of the ladder and took a deep breath “If I die, I just wanna say that I love you all, and I love the most , Francis.” Francis chuckled “Don’t say that like it’s your last day on earth.” “I know I just wanted you all to remember that.” He said as he started moving down slowly, Maria followed, then Francis.

Sima remained lingering at the edge as she stared into the black void below. The air started to feel cold, and for a moment, she thought she heard something down there. A faint sound, a whisper.

She clenched her fists, swallowing hard. Then without another word she grabbed the ladder and started to move down after them.

Chapter Text

As they all went down, the air grew colder the deeper they climbed. Shoes creaking against the rungs of the ladder. When they finally reached the bottom, darkness filled them whole.

”…Cant see a damn thing.” Francis muttered. Yu-Jun fumbled along the wall until his hand touched something, a torch. He grabbed a box filled matches and lit it, the flame flickering to life, casting a shaky light over the stone walls.

The tunnel stretched on, the dust dancing in the air like no one has set foot here in years. “Looks abandoned..” Francis whispered. “Or made to look that way..” Maria replied back, her staff resting on her shoulders. She led the way down the tunnel. Her eyes scanning the place like something was about to happen.

They moved in silence, the only sound they could hear was the crackle of the torch. Then, all of a sudden, Maria stopped dead. She raised her right hand in warning, her gaze sharp.

Someone was there.

Sima stiffened, reaching for her gun. But Maria quickly shook her head and told them to be quiet. Her eyes glowed faintly as she created a portal, shimmering oval of purple light.

”Go,” she whispered. “Now.”

One by one, the group began to move towards the portal. Francis grabbed Sima’s arm making her flinch a little at the sudden touch but soon relaxed as her brother was tugging her forward. But before they could step in, a harsh voice cut through the tunnel.

“HEY! Intruders!” A man lunged out from the shadows, grabbing Maria’s shoulder before she could react. More figure came in behind him, blades flashing.

”Ugh, so much for quiet.” Maria hissed. Her portal closing in her command with a snap as she swung her staff hard across the mans jaw making him yelp.

Chaos happened

Yu-Jun dropped the torch and drew his dagger, weaving between the shadows slashing the attacks in what felt like sonic speed. Maria spun her staff, dodging the flying blades.  

Francis planted his feet one the ground, he didn’t have any weapons but he had one thing, fists. He caught the attacker’s arm and threw him on the ground. He then pinned him on the ground and punched him, knocking him out.

And Sima-

Sima wasn’t fighting to defend herself, no, she was fighting to destroy. She grabbed one of them by the collar and slammed his head against the wall multiple times until blood sprayed all over her arm. Another came at her, but she kicked his knee out, grabbed the dagger from his hand and kicked his stomach, throwing him across the wall as Sima pinned his legs and jammed it into his gut with no hesitation. There were no warmth in her eyes, just coldness as her face was splashed from blood, her breathes sharp and quick.

”what the fuck…” Francis muttered, as he froze there for a moment as he watched his sister. He turned to Maria. “Maria- what the fuck is wrong with my sister?!”

But Maria didn’t even glance his way, too busy dodging the blades at once. “Not the time!” She snapped, as she spun around, knocking out the attackers flat.

Minutes later, silence fell the room again. Bodies littered the floor of the tunnel, groaning, bleeding, and one of them dead.

Yu-Jun bent down, taking his breath after the attack. Her wiped his blades with his shirt, then got up. “We can’t leave them here, Someone will notice.”

Francis ran a hand down his locks and looked at his lover. “So what do you suggest? Drag them all out one by one?” 

Yu-Jun shook his head “No. We take their clothes. If we look like them we wont stand out.” Maria finally looked over the group, her expression unreadable as always. Then nodded.

”Find strip them. Disguise yourselves. We’re going deeper…”

Chapter Text

The group started to move cautiously through the underground tunnel, their clothes rubbing their skins awkwardly making them feel uncomfortable. Every footstep was loud, every shuffle of the fabric a reminder that if they did one mistake could blow their cover.

Maria led the way, her eyes were sharp as she was scanning around the tunnels to see if there were any clues to where to go to the building. Francis and Sima were beside each other behind her and Yu-Jun was behind them.

”This has to be the way to Saylis’s building.” Maria whispered that only the others could hear. The passage opened into a wider corridor, and they pretending to be just another evil group of Saylis”s men. But the tension couldn’t leave their shoulders.

A guard rounded the corner, stopping as their eyes landed on the group, scanning them as they look at them with suspicion. Their eyes landed on Sima and Francis, something about their movement or stance caught their attention .

”Hold on…” they muttered. Then straighten his back and raised his voice “Hey! You four! Freeze!” The group stiffened as they heard the guard yell at them. Sima’s heartbeat was running fast, Francis swallowed hard, Yu-Jun froze, his muscles ready attack if it’s required. While Maria stepped forward while no one did as she looked at the guard with her eyebrow raised

The guard walked towards them, the suspicion in their eyes never left their gaze. “I don’t remember seeing you guys before. Who sent you four down here?” Maria didn’t flinch. She smiled faintly, her voice confident “Saylis sent us here to check the east wing supply. Something about.. missing crates and weapons.”

The guard looked at her with their eyebrow raised. “East wing? Huh… i don’t recognise you or your group, but alright. Move it, and don’t cause trouble.. You four look like trouble makers..” they said as they looked at the group up and down but shrugged off and walked away.

The group felt like they didn’t breathe for eternity as they all exhaled, their shoulders relaxing a bit. Sima wiped her sweat from her brow. “Well that didn’t go terrible like I thought it would be..” 

They continued to walk down the corridor, tensing every-time they went down. As they kept walking, they came across another trapdoor, this time, they were hoping it would lead to the main building where Saylis was.

Maria knelt down, brushing off the dust and checking to see if there was any chains to see if it was locked, there was none. “This has to be it..” she whispered.

Francis looked at Sima and Sima looked at Francis, exchanging wary glances. “Are you sure? The trapdoor might be.. well, a trap.”

Maria’s hand pressed against the wood and sighed. “We’ve been walking for a while and we didn't find any clues to find where the main building was… this is our only hope.”

As Francis to speak, he got interrupted when Maria opened the trapdoor with a creak as it swung open. They all knelt down and looked as their faces went cold. The passage below was empty. Quiet and still. But it didn’t look like it lead to the main building like they thought.

Sima sighed and muttered under her breathe, “Of course it wouldn’t be easy, nothing is!” Maria’s jaw tightened “Then we might be walking into a trap… or worse.” 

They all looked at each other realising that the risk becomes higher than it already was. Ahead was uncertainty. Behind them was only shadows and silence…

Chapter Text

One by one, they all went down the ladder, the wood making a grunt every-time they went down. Dust fell from the ceiling, and air smelt damp and stale. When they reached the floor, the chamber was empty, they tried to find clues but nothing to suggest that Saylis has ever been there.

Maria led the way, her staff in hand, holding it tightly like it’ll disappear and scanning to at least find something, anything but like I said, nothing. Silence pressed on their shoulders like a heavy boulder.

As they kept looking around, suddenly a sharp hiss echoed through the vents. Thick Greenish grey smoke poured in. The scent of the smoke making them choke, cough violently, making their visions blurry and limbs weakened. Maria tried to open a portal to escape but the scent overwhelmed her. One by one they all fell on the ground and collapsed.

Soon Maria opened her eyes, her head throbbed and her wrists burned. She tried to move but soon realised she was tied to a chair. Groans came from beside her, Yu-Jun, Francis and Sima were all tied as well.

Her gaze scanned around the room, when she turned to her right side, she froze, In  the corner sat another figure, slumped and tied just like the rest of them. Black and purple cloak, dark blue hair… Saylis.He slowly opened his eyes, confusion and tension crossing his face.

Time hung in the air. None of them dared to move, none of them dared to speak as they all stared at each other. The room was heavy with disbelief and dread.

All of a sudden, a door creaked open at the far end. Footsteps echoed across the floor slowly as the shadow stretched across the chamber.

A figure stepped into the doorway, little giggles have laughter was heard from the figure as they continued to walk in confidence as the light caught her smirk…

Everett.

The group froze, their hearts pounding from shock. Even Saylis raised his head a little, his eyes narrowing her presence. The ropes bit down deeper as he tried to break free, the weight of the moment pressing down.

No words were spoken, no explanations came out of Everett mouth. Only the sound of her footsteps and the horrible realisation: they were all completely at her mercy.

The chamber was quiet. But they only thing that seemed to be loud was Everetts appearance and her sly grin.

…

”Everett…?”

Chapter Text

Everett entered the room with a eerie giggle that left her mouth. She didn’t speak, she just kept walking around in circles as everyone’s eyes were on her. They were all too stunned to speak, especially Saylis and Sima.

Saylis tried to break the ropes to break free, but they were too strong, even for him. “Enough! Everett my dear.. Let. Me. Go…” his voice sharp with no joke in his tone.

Everett looked at him with a smirk as she walked behind him, her hands rested on his shoulder with ‘tenderness’ and ‘care’ as she spoke, her voice all cold and bitter. “You know what I’m really tired of? Im tired of people telling me what to do.. taking which sides I should go to… people think they can own me…”

Maria looked at her with her sharp glare like always. Everett noticed her glare and her grin turned into a frown of disgust and walked up to her, grabbing her chin harshly. “Everyone loves you… adores you… but deep down, your a pathetic little hero…”

Those words made Maria laugh. The sound of her laughter low, jagged and unsettling, everyone looked at her with slight fear, even Saylis and Everett as she stepped back a bit. Maria kept laughing before her laughter down and turned her head to Everett, making her jump.

 “You can’t talk at all..” she spoke, her eyes darting at Saylis “Your just a puppet in his his wrath…” She finished as Saylis looked back at her with fire in his eyes.

The room become louder as Saylis started yelling along with everyone else. The yelling become louder and louder before suddenly a bang of a gunshot was heard making everyone dead silence. No one daring to speak a word.

Everett raised her gun at Marias head. Gripping her fingers in her chin, making sure to leaves a painful mark and then spat on her face and yelled “Your pathetic! In the end everyone will leave you.. you will be a NOBODY..” 

Maria growled, her voice low “Watch that tongue of yours… before something bad happens..”

Everett laughed sharply. “Like what?”

Suddenly the ropes on Maria’s wrist snapped free as she got up from the chair and stared down at everett, making her look up with shocked look on her face. “This.”

Her golden boots bashed into Everett’s guts. Blood and spit flecked the floor as Maria summoned her staff out of her portal pointing it at her. Everett spat out the blood and laughed raggedly. “That stupid staff wont do shit!”

“Wanna bet?” Maria said as Everett got up from the floor and then the fight started. Bullets flew. Maria dodged. But while Maria dodged the bullets suddenly, one struck in Saylis’s chest. Blood poured down his clothes.

Everett froze, eyes wide, dropping her gun and rushed to him. She went on her knees panicking, trying to stop blood running down his chest, tears running down her cheek as she grabbed his face.

“N-No, no, no, no, no… don’t fucking die on me please… I didn’t mean it… I DIDN’T MEAN IT!”

Saylis lifted his head up. Using all the strength he had “Don’t cry… your beautiful..” his voice faltered and soon went silent. His head down… not a single breath came out of his mouth and blood was all over Everett’s face and hands.

Everett’s sorrow soon twisted to rage. Her head turned to Maria, eyes locked on hers with pure hatred. She rushed towards Maria and was about to attack her before, SLAM! Maria swung her staff so hard, smashing it across Everetts face. More blood and saliva sprayed as Everett hit the floor with a thud and fell unconscious 

Chapter Text

The silence was loud. There you see Saylis lay lifeless in a beach of his own blood. And then there was Everett who was all bloody and bruised beside him. For a while no one dared to speak. Nobody didn’t even want to breathe.

 Soon Maria was the first to speak and move. “We need leave immediately.” Her voice steady but her hands shaking in fear as she untied the ropes. “If anyone finds out-“

The door opened.

A guard walked in the room the a clipboard and pen looking down, not noticing his surroundings. “Sir i need your signature on-“ He looked up and froze, dropping his clipboard in fear.

Everyone looked at him wide eyes. Francis was about to say something before the man started screaming like a little girl and he pressed the emergency button and ran for his life.

The alarms wailed as it echoed through halls repeatedly through the halls.

”Fuck!” Francis yelled, pulling his dreads as a sign of panic. “He’s probably warning the others already” he yelled as he was having a panic attack while Yu-jun was trying to calm down.

Maria glared at him. Her eyes burning with fire. “Not if I get there first..” she said as she created a portal out of thin air. “Move!” 

Francis ran in first. Followed by Yun-jun. As Maria was about to step in before she turned her head to look at Sima who was putting Everett in a closet. She slowly stroked Everetts hair as guilt was all over her voice “…I'm so sorry…” 

Maria looked at Sima. Her face finally went soft before she caught herself. “SIMAAA!” Maria yelled “Leave her here and move!” 

Sima flinched, she slammed to closet door shut and ran in the portal along side Maria. The air on the other side was cold and thick as dust danced in the air. They all move with a quick motion. The sound of running footsteps echoed in the halls.

”There!” Maria hissed, sprinting as fast as her legs could go, her boots slammed against the concrete floor as the others followed her behind, trying to catch up to her. “How the hell run so fast and is shorter than all three of us?” Francis spoke making sure Sima and Yu-jun heard and they both shrugged and continued running.

But after several turns the footsteps stopped as they all lost track of the man. The hallways was split into two directions.

”Shit.. he’s gone!” Yu-jun said, taking deep breathes “We should split up.. me and Maria and you gays together” Sima spoke as Francis looked at her with glare.

Maria nodded, wiping the sweat from her brow. “Fine. We find him before he and everyone else find US.” 

They soon scattered through the maze of the halls. 

a few moments later, Maria and Sima both found a strange door on the walls. Sima looked around and soon opened the rusted metal door, only to find Yu-jun and Francis already inside. Looking all confused.

”How?-“ Francis started but soon the ceiling above made a low creak as they all looked up. Maria froze. “Wait a minute..”

All of a sudden guards came out of the ceiling, one by one as black armoured guards dropped down like shadows lurking around.

The group could barely process what was happening before the first punch landed on Sima.

“Hey thats my sister!” Francis yelled as he grabbed the guards throat and threw them across the room. Maria summoned her staff in mid spin, and Yu-Jun grabbed his dagger from his pocket pointing it towards the guards.

”lets see who’s going to win…” said Maria before she suddenly swung her swords at the guards a the fight began.
