Dandy's World AU Information.

Summary:

Just chapters and chapters (hopefully) of information on the AU that will be a constant trend from me!
Following the info of each toon (not tagging the twisteds because they'll have their own pages and please make the twisteds their own tag. There's too many characters *SOBBING*)

Chapter 1: Introduction!

Chapter Text

Welcome to Black, White and the Grey Between!
This is a small thing with me and my friend that I have decided to start posting my small writing blurbs into the void.
So without further delay!
Here's the basic information about this AU!!!

Any and all the ocs involved from myself or the friend with the writing involved are called 'Alternatives'.
The Alternative cast is just as if not a bit bigger than the main cast (Dandy and co)
They have their own mains, rares, uncommons and commons. There are two lethals, however only one is really known is this AU. Her name is Judge.
Before gardenview went under, the alternatives had their own handler as well. Whom was fired before the toons were discarded by the higher ups. Locked away and torn from one another.

Dandy of course was responsible for the Ichor once again, however he is constantly refered to as 'The Demon' in each work or is left unnamed due to various other details.
Of course, other details will be explained in his chapter (No he's not getting the one after this. I'm not giving him the spotlight lol)

Now for the fun part!

Each toon alive is a copy of the V1s. The V1s being the toons that were actually involved in the show.
There are chances for toons to be Vintage, who share the glimpses of memories from past copies and even rarer the V1. Many vintages have days where they will feel the pain the V1 felt upon their death. Vintage toons also have a chance for mutations! Normal toons do as well but it's much more rare.
Example : A vintage Sprout would feel how the V1 starved and resorted to.. drastic meassures. Before perishing in the end. And that Sprout could have two tails, or missing a mouth, so on and so on.

The V1s are easier to tell apart than the other twisteds. Being as they are larger and tend to be a bit more aware of what's going on around them.
Example : V1 twisted Vee made a gameshow out of her hunts. Killing toons who answer incorrectly.
Another way the V1s are recognized as being such a threat is a tiny shread of pink ribbon. While most hide it, others keep it in open view. Many toons are aware that the ribbon on a twisted that isn't Glisten may prove to be a threat.

The only ones with 'Territory' are the V1s. Various floors that are littered with corpses and dangerous twisteds.
Example : Sprout's territory is littered with cannibals on the outskirts. Keeping away unwanted guests, while he himself kills any twisted that dare disobey him.

There is much more to say but of course it's specific character related!
Each version (Important at least) will have their own chapter.
So both the V1s and any Vintage toons will have their own chapters, at least the ones that are most active in stories. Of which most will be oneshots.
Others will get their spotlights don't worry!

Chapter 2: Bramble (V1 Sprout)

Summary:

Can you tell he's one of my favorites?

Chapter Text

V1 Sprout, Aka Bramble was one of the first few V1s to be given a different name to identify him.
While he's often slouched and very rarely hunts toons that come into his territory. He is still a very dangerous twisted to encounter.
He follows the same rules of the copies. The vines appear every now and then. However his hunting style is different, some toons who have survived encounters with him have said they never saw him. Hinting that he may stalk toons takes them by surprise. Despite being such a large twisted, he has gone unnoticed before. Sitting idly and 'resting'.
While covered in ichor, there are a few possible old bleeding injuries that may hint as his death.
One at the side of his head and a hole in his chest where it's possible to see into his chest cavity and lastly, the bites taken out of the ichor covered limb.

One important detail to note is that he seemed to have had a tail at some point in the past. Without it he stumbles and struggles to walk most days. Leaving him to rest most days.
Another thing is he often has the V1 cosmo nearby, acting as a guard dog for the sweetroll.

He and Dandy are brothers. [Astro wasn't the only one trying to talk to Dandy to try and understand what was going on, or trying to get him to stop all of this.]
Sometimes, when Dandy comes into his territory, the two argue despite Bramble's limited ability to talk. Sometimes it leads both lethal and main to physically fight for a time. However, Dandy is built for causing havoc. Bramble has been recorded as the strongest main.

Despite all of this, Bramble can be a very calm and curious twisted, small flickers of who he used to be seen more often than others. But they are still for brief moments.
There are a few other V1s he cares about, one of them being Vee, whom he sees as a sister. Astro who he feels nothing but pain for, due to what happened to the twisted. Rodger due to simple respect for the risks the twisted is dealing with.

Sometimes, he can be found lying in his territory, giving a various array of vocalizations to other twisteds or very rarely toons.
They are often misinterpreted by toons, but some vintages have learned the difference between his greeting, calls and warnings.

Overall, he's very tired and not often willing to cause a fight unless there's no other possible way to deal with something. He's often attacked first due to this, however he still manages to come out the victor.

Chapter 3: Dandy ("The Demon")

Chapter Text

Once a slightly chubby toon, now slightly more muscular, due to his constant activity of hunting, stalking his targets and dragging his other form around. Often with short rainbow claws similar to the twisted's. His body is covered in small splotches of Ichor, A thin whip-like tail that it kept curled close, ending in dying leaves. Sharper petals that are heavily torn and a few looking like they would fall off. A dark hollow gaze and cheshire smile that lingers most days. His clothes are simple. An old white button up, dress pants and scuffed shoes and often a pair of black gloves. All littered with splatters of ichor, the sleeves rolled up and exposing dark veins that stretch up his forearm. A few scars rest on his body. between his ribs and some lingering on his arms.

He practically rules over Gardenview with an iron fist. Saying who lives and dies with so much as a simple command to his 'pets'.
[Sorry short Dandy enjoyers he comes up to Sprout's shoulder and Sprout in this AU is tall as hell-]

He has both physically and mentally shattered Astro and Glisten. Making those V1s panic so much at the mention of his name.

From the depths of Gardenview he lays in wait unless he tends to the toons in his elevator shop. Which he often is unless he's awaiting more copies to begin roaming around. Lying upon a throne constructed of hardened ichor, riddled with tapes. Often with Pebble by his side and various other violent twisteds. Many of which refuse to disobey. [Unlike Rodger].
While he's got most of the twisteds under his thumb, the main V1s and their various friends make it a bit harder to gain control.
Having been "So kind" to give them a chance to stake claim to their territories, he keeps them confined to them unless he calls for them.

There is a cult somewhere in the depths that worships him like a god, and he has convinced them that drinking the ichor will bring them closer to their "Rightful place" and so far, they've served him well.

While he's the younger brother between him and Sprout, he enjoys bossing around the copies, however the Vintage ones make him a little uneasy. A specific one with four arms has actively gone out of his way to piss off the flower.

If it ever comes down to it, he can and will play with his prey. Giving them a glimpse of a false reality where nothing has changed, but he still can see reality. Taunting them from just out of site and the remains of the rest who have fallen under his claw.

He doesn't keep up the act with vintage toons, who, since they remember everything. Know exactly what they are dealing with. Making them harder to deal with in large groups. So he often tries to kill them first if they piss him off.

Despite all the horrific things he's done, yet to be talked about. He enjoys hot chocolate ^w^

Chapter 4: Circuit (V1 Vee)

Chapter Text

Circuit is a lot more calculated then her copies. Often making a show of prey and twisteds.
Only called "Veevee" by her friends with the sanity to call her that.
Her "shows" are mostly for her own entertainment, as she finds anything else understimulating.

She often keeps an eye on her territory from the cameras littered about the floor, gunning it for intruders while keeping her copies out of the system. Most times putting toons through her show, should she have the energy to do so. Other times, she leaves them to the twisteds hiding out.
She tries and most often fails to seem more than a "Heartless machine" with her fellow V1s. This mostly ends with her blaming their foul creators for making her so limited in understanding.

Her floor is mostly littered with corpses, remains of twisteds and toons that she got bored of. Splattering the walls with ichor.
She has very little care for what happens to toons and twisteds alike. However, if the twisteds are proved to be V1s, she appears worried, her tail often drooping upon seeing their conditions.

The pink ribbon sheard and her height are the only things that often give her away as the V1. If toons live long enough to notice it.

She still holds care for Shelly, Glisten and a favored few others. Like the idiot she deals with, that is the main she sees as a brother.

Chapter 5: Rook (V1 Rodger)

Chapter Text

Rook is a very calculating twisted. Only serving the demon for the sake of those he cares about.
Unlike his copies, he is able to walk, albeit very slowly. He also prefers to stay out of the capsule, of which he carries around in case he needs to use it to hide from a furious main or to simply retreat once he becomes exhausted.

He moves between the various floors to observe or order the other V1s around at the Demon's command. While none fear him exactly, they fear angering the demon.

While he was still alive, he made a collection of notes on the various twisteds and their behavior. Of which has been written in by surviving toons and passed between groups to keep the information in it circulating.

His build isn't much different than back then. However he is slightly thinner then his copies, and the simple detail of slightly mangled legs. His body is littered in scars from times he disappointed the demon. Small cracks along the wooden frame and small chunks out of his handle, a very small crack on his glass hardly noticeable, but close to his eye. He, like all his copies, has a mouth that's resting on their collarbone. Often hidden by their clothing unless torn or they have no care for it being seen. Rook's own is dripping Ichor and is often seen due to damage to his suit.

He hardly acts like he cares for others, when however all his work is putting the pieces into place so something may be done about the monster that runs Gardenview.

Unlike most other V1s he behaves the closest to how he did before.

Chapter 6: Vanity (V1 Glisten)

Chapter Text

Vanity is a rather skittish twisted.
Having been horribly treated by the demon for several years. Stuck on his floor, locked in a room by himself and showed off like a prize. Forced to behave as a perfect little doll, where nothing was wrong in his existence. This twisted has lost a lot of himself that used to shine and annoy others. His ego long since shattered and he often refuses to clean up the pieces. Fearful of what may happen, that he may lose those around him for old behavior. From bold and arrogant, to jumpy and hesitant... this poor thing's mind has been shattered.

He lacks any shred of his pink ribbon, having torn it up and given the shreds to his friends as a way to identify their bodies in the beginning. He used to have a tail tipped with a makeup brush, but it had been ripped off before he died and the pain still shots through his body. From time to time, his eyes shift between the bright pink and the crimson most twisteds have. Only when his mental state has fractured further.

He simply keeps himself to Rook and Circuit, keeping curled close and shivering. Muttering about the Demon and flinching at every sound, even the mention of his name makes the toon freeze and scratch at his arms, picking at the flesh at the top and bottom of the injury in his stomach.

Chapter 7: Tart (Vintage Sprout)

Summary:

Woo!
First vintage to get his chapter.
Some of his friends are next

Chapter Text

Tart or Tartarus (depending who you talk to) Is a vintage sprout with four arms, recently grown in tail and small burgundy freckles littering his body. His eyes have grey streaks littering them, further reminding others of his current state. He stands about 6 inches taller than a normal sprout at this point in time. Being 1/2 twisted, an arm he removed in the middle of a breakdown has regrown and taken on a similar appearance to Bramble's. His baggy clothing now slightly clings to his form, outlining his more athletic build. He's been running in Gardenview for quite a while, floor hopping and causing mayhem.

He's grown tired of the treatment everyone receives down in Gardenview. He first began like most others, now he cares for toon and twisted alike. Earning the titles 'Twisted Whisperer' and 'Miracle Medic' despite only showing what everyone saw as monsters, some basic kindness and concern. He mostly focuses on V1s but will help any twisted that requires aid. The 'toon' has a lot to learn of himself and what threat he wishes to stand against. But that hardly deters him from getting his job done. He is a workaholic and rather stubborn in many ways, often playing into his overprotective personality trait that sometimes causes more harm than good, to the dismay or irritation of his friends and partner, Cinnamon (A vintage Cosmo).

As where he'll stand in oneshots before his main story is worked on.
He's often the main medic, carrying medkits and other supplies with him to use on the others. Despite that he's the main distractor, because like most vintage toons his stats are messed up.
He never seems to run out of breath unless he's pushing it by distracting Cerberus [V1 Pebble].
Other times he'll just be there for less tense moments, being the one to jump in to try and calm things down.
The trinkets he carries around are : Savory Charm and Vanity Mirror.

How he became half twisted : TO BE WRITTEN!
(I love the other character involved named Thorn. I think anyone reading the works involving the AU will hate his guts ^w^)(As you should)

Chapter 8: Packrat (Vintage Boxten)

Notes:

The first tribute I took from the other creator of this AU. /hj
I asked them to pick from four and we got Pack!
Next three after are planned out :3

(I am working on other stuff but since these are small blurbs, I can get them out quick an get back to work XD)

Chapter Text

Often friendly and overall calm and talkative, packrat is usually one of the more welcoming vintages you’ll come across with a calm, sensible demeanour. He is a bit of a pushover with his friends but still can do hefty damage, he is much stronger than he looks. Pack currently resides with his wife and close friends, often travelling to heal twisteds and toons and run repairs on anything they can, he’s most definitely the mechanic of the bunch. [Given as two of his companions are worse then Shrimpo with machines (Tart and Sadist)]

The toon is grayscale in colour, with a torn grey bandanna (which the torn piece is with a Rodger who he saw as a parental figure.), simple T-shirt, long stripped pants, and thick steel toed boots; The toon also has a small and thick padlock on his forehead to keep his lid closed as his heart and brain have switched places and it’s left a bit of a cavity (which he sometimes tucks some emergency provisions in). Like most vintages he’s littered with scars. One of which is a long faded one across his collar bone from an incident with a Twisted pebble.

He tends to keep moral a little higher then it would be. Given as some of his companions are either brooding or have issues they can't deal with that get in the way of tasks. (Though even he has his moments).
While their isn't quite a leader of their group, it often falls between him and Tart, though both seem to pass it off between one another.

He carries around a book in his large backpack that contains information on each twisted. Recorded by those before, having been started by the V1 Rodger.

Chapter 9: Sadist (Vintage Rodger)

Chapter Text

A crafty old man, who has been left to his own devices. Once betrayed by a teammate, he sought out her demise himself. Taking joy in the action, he further led destructive toons to their deaths by his hand. Often running them down during blackouts and into twisteds, or killing them himself. He holds some scars fondly and can recall most.

With more scar tissue than actual skin. A few inches shorter than Sprout and muscular. He has long discarded his suit jacket in favor of keeping the vest, of which is old and torn. He keeps his sleeves rolled up not due to machines. But for various personal reasons. His old dress pants are torn along the bottom and up the side on the right leg. Left unrepaired from various old injuries. He wears an old pair of dress shoes that he's 'modified'. His other mutation is hidden in his mouth, another pair of jaws. The last 1/4 of his handle was snapped off, he often just uses the ribbon to keep it on. Unfazed by it detaching as he can no longer feel it. A small stub remains of a long old tail the vintage had, formerly tipped like an old ink pen. All the remains is 4 inches of it.

Mentor and good friend of Packrat, who he sees as similar to the Boxten he used to know (Both he and Pack being different versions. Sadist being 8 Pack being 30 - 40+)
While insane he's very supportive of his partner and friends, even if it's silently being there for them.

However the current strain of his relationship is beginning to get to him.

Chapter 10: The Dreamers

Chapter Text

Taking a break from individual characters to talk about one of my favorite things to play around with alongside the co-creator of this AU.

The Land of Dreams.
Most toons do not see this place, however, some hold a faint domain over it. Astro and other dreamers. Who gain a more ethereal appearance, such as stars, planets/celestial bodies, glowing features, etc.

The other dreamers being Astro's copies, the star time off color toons and an alternative by the name of Borealis and her copies.
This leaves mains such as Shelly, Pebble, Vee and Sprout a chance to manipulate and travel through dreams should they be a star time. The base copies of each do no hold such abilities.
There is one boxten who is able to do the same, but he is part of a dreamer himself.

Astro and his copies are by far the strongest in the land of dreams, however the V1 is notibly the strongest. Though since he has refused to sleep in the past years, others have stepped up to handle things.
One such copy who claims vintage, with very bird like mutations [Wings, talons and feathers] has upheld a standard for the dreamers. Going as far to attack ones who wish to manipulate dreams for their own gain. She, while half twisted. Is very understanding of the twisted V1, offering to leave judgement to him should he wish to get involved, however it ends with her sorting it out herself if it stresses him out too much.

So dreamers can fall into specific states should the moon be in a different phase of there is something such as an eclipse.
Such things being :
Blood moon, makes the deamers very hyper active and sometimes hostile [When they don't mean to]
During lunar eclipses they are calm, regal and knowledgeable. and during solar they are all angry and abrasive
New moons make them more tired then usual and full they are at their strongest.
Blue moon, almost completly unresponsive and hard to awaken the day before but the night, they are nowhere to be found until morning.

There is a chance that a dreamer made during one of these times can be stuck in the phase perminantly. Such is the case for one.

Chapter 11: The Hybrid

Chapter Text

One of the oddities of Gardenview.

Orbit is an interesting character. They appear to be rather erratic in nature at times but are focused and persistent, having been working on generators for years with their good friend and companion Gigi in order to keep power as functional as it can be in gardenviews ruins.

They are a unique toon. Like a planet with its rings, Orbit (the Astro) is the main body, with Stelios (The Vee) and Rover (The Boxten) acting as his other parts or rings.

With six arms, three tails, digitigrade legs, part of a screen on the dark part of his face and a key on his back, his appearance can take someone by surprise. Not only such oddities, but his slightly more athletic appearance as well. From all the running he did and things he moves around each day.
Four of the arms are riddled with patches of purple and the last two were riddled with a splotchy paint job of blue and purple.

While Orbit is mostly rather outgoing for an Astro, and Rover is less anxious. Stelios is the most spacy at times and he often tends to be listening to everything.
The Hybrid is the result of toons dying back to back, hardly a few seconds between each death. At least that is their running theory.

However, there is another part who refuses to speak to the others, calling themself "Vortex" to seemingly fit with the other three.
Vortex is a highly anti-social part, there's nothing on the body hinting he's even there. Often only involving himself with the most important tasts that stress the others. He doesn't speak. Often only doing the work before one of the others takes the reigns again.

The Hybrid lives by the flooded floors, where the more aquatic twisted alternatives live. Chase, The Captain, and Shara. An Orca, Viper Fish and Leatherback Sea turtle toons respectively.
Despite this, They have managed to gain the trust of The Captain and Chase, which has allowed them to go along the flooded floors with little issue. Alongside those twisteds, a pair of bat alternatives Vesper and Prowler stay around them and their friends. Acting as messengers between the others working on the generators.

They hardly know of any other toons, beside themselves, Gigi, a Poppy and Boxten who also work on the generators. They often think other toons are dead, however when they manage to head into the land of dreams. Well, let's just say that fear was dismissed.

Chapter 12: Eclipse (V1 Alternative)

Notes:

First Alternative let's gooooooo!
This is my girl and I love her.

Chapter Text

This toon takes the appearance of a Kirin with a long flowing mane of black, riddled with streaks of silver and purple. While she herself is just a few inches taller then Astro, she often keeps her head lowered to speak with her lunar friend.
Her antlers are riddled with fake stars that hang from delicate strings and her eyes reflect the far off night sky. Mixes of purple, pink, and blue, with a silver purple.

Often showing herself to toons who require rest in form of a hallucination, often speaking to them lightly while reminding them of what they need.
Very soft spoken and sweet.

Her death was at the hands of the craft twins. Which took the gentle and caring toon to be an ambush hunter.
Waiting for her prey to come to her, before crying out and charging after them, leaving nothing but carnage in her path before she returns to her place to rest.

The caring dreamer now is the source of many a nightmare alongside Apollo. Her howling like that of a death whistle.
She serves the Demon as a loyal 'pet'. Hunting who he orders her to and leaving no survivors. She often stays beside the throne he rests upon, awaiting orders. She is unaware of what happened to her friends.
She only knows the Moon was tormented and is unsure of the fates of the moths and her messenger.

Chapter 13: Hydranis (V1 Alternative Main)

Notes:

I got a wrist brace. So uh. Writing has been super slow. But the main fic IS being worked on (It's 7 pages already on a document and is only haflway to where it needs to be and other projects are being chipped away at I haven't forgotten anything!)

Chapter Text

Hydranis has three different names for each head on their body. A hydra of a Suchomimus.
This Alternative was made by a reference mistake. The error in question gave them their signature three heads when they were only supposed to have one. So they were edited to support the weight before being shown off to the other toons. (They did the Sucho's part away from Shelly and the others so the reactions and fear were genuine rather than scripted.) The older audience loved them at the first showing of their episode. [It being themed around Shelly telling facts about different Dinosaurs. Emphasizing the theorized hunting tactics.]
They stuck around for sometime, however after their first episode. The fear from the other toons was still genuine, so the alternative had to be moved to not always scare them.
Soon left in that more open floor rather then fought to be moved like the other alternatives.

Vemu the middle head is untouched by ichor, but their gaze is glossy and they speak slowly trying to keep the other two in check. They mostly control the body, making it stagger as they move around, but when hunting, they will behave as the other two do.

Nikovo is the head on the right. Missing an eye, leaving an empty socket in it's place. They are very snippy and try to tug the body around. Fighting with Zrenas, often being the one to pull toons apart in a tug of war with them.

Zrenas is the head on the left, sometimes snippy but more curious then the other two, they talk more than Nikovo but not as much as Vemu and often their tongue falls from their limp jaw after they speak.

A copy of this main appeared in : Vintage Betrayal

The V1 isn't in the upper floors but many of their copies have found their ways up. The main themself loves Greek mythology and will talk of such, if given the chance. the V1 Often telling tales to toons and twisted on their floor. Each head telling their part or making a comment on the current one.

This main almost matches Pebble in speed and Sight.

Chapter 14: Rose (Vintage Sprout)

Notes:

One of my favorites, but I know y'all won't like him after a specific chapter.

Chapter Text

A vintage sprout with long, sharp leaves that are kept out of his face. He's covered in various eyes each resting in different places. Such as: two on the back of his hands, one on his chest, one between his shoulder blades, two on his sides under his ribs and five on his tail. Of the eleven, only five of the extras are open the most frequently (the ones on his hands and three on his tail).
He often keeps the extra eyes hidden with long black robes trimmed with gold that hang off his cadaverous figure. Black pants and he wears no shoes, mostly due to another mutation, which broke his lower legs halfway down. Instead he keeps them wrapped in cloth. Sometimes he wears long black gloves to cover the eyes if he is doing something important.

He runs a mysterious group deeper down in Gardenview. One where he stands above the others, with three other toons at his side.
He is the same version as a previously mentioned toon: Sadist.

Unlike most Sprouts, he is skilled at machines, but moves very slowly and due to his current physical state. He struggles to catch his breath and thus can't run long. However, he can sneak along going unnoticed unless he is dealing with observant twisteds.
He used to be 'Rosey' much to his annoyance.

There may be more to him then meets the eye.

Chapter 15: The Differences

Notes:

We've talked about this a little bit, so I decided to share it all with y'all!

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Normal toons are what you expect, vibrant, full of energy (depending on the toon themself of course.). Even off colors and all their small changes. Their eyes will be normal, no changes to the coloration of their skin, behavior or abilities.

Walking the thin line of death, half twisted toons are the half dead inhabitants of Gardenview.
Most variations besides vintage will tend to have red streaks in their eyes. The vintage will have grey streaks at first but as it gets worse, the streaks get more visible and scattered through their eyes.
Their skin often looks like it was stretched over their skeleton, of which bones often stretch and warp without tearing through, though in some cases it has. They have a chance to gain more mutations. Ie: More eyes, a tail, another mouth. So on and so on.
Most colors tend to grow dull on the toon, they get more prone to outbursts and can become emotionally unstable. In some instances, their memory begins to fade and warp. They can become much like their fully twisted counterparts.
If they are lucky, they will keep most of their mind intact, if they do. They experience most of the heightened sense twisteds have. An example of that being able to see better in the dark.
They can heal a tad bit faster than normal toons, but still require medical attention for injuries. In some cases, they have regrown limbs. A small perk is they might be able to understand what Twisteds are 'saying'. Granted it takes awhile.

However, one of the many drawbacks of being like this is the constant changes the body attempts to force upon itself, growing worse the more ichor the half twisted comes into contact with. It often leads to them being exhausted much quicker and sleeping for much longer. Another problem they run into is the slowed heart rate and little breathing they will end up doing. Then upon resting, both become nearly nonexistent. Furthermore if the twisted counterpart of the toon has a special ability, the half twisted is able to replicate such, though at the cost of much more energy then the twisted. Unfortunately, the half twisted usually ends up getting a slight hunger for flesh.

Twisteds are the result of the ichor. How it reanimates the body is unknown and what full extent it can do so is unknown. However, twisteds are common as rodents. Each decaying husk, forced to continue to walk around. In some cases some twisteds never even died. Just toons overcome with Ichor, be it prolonged exposure or something going wrong. Twisting can be painful for the individual as their body forcefully changes, often times when they are conscious should they still have a grasp on their mind in that moment.
It can take anywhere from a few days to a mere few hours for a toon to twist. Mains taking the longest due to the drastic changes to their bodies.

This is where there is low chance for the toon to ever be the same again. However there are rare instances where they have a hint of their former self that wasn’t drowned in the depths of their mind. Sometimes twisteds have mutations as they twisted or due to damage done to the body before. Be it a Vee with a ‘working’ mouth due to a shattered screen, or a Sprout with both arms covered in ichor and able to pull up more vines.

There have been very rare instances of Vintages twisting and surviving it. As most don’t and simply die, their husks left to be feasted on. As Vintage toons are more unstable then off colors and normal looking toons. If one should twist however, they are often killed by toons who know how to deal with them or avoided at all costs. Due to their unstable and erratic nature and ever mutating bodies. Luckily, due to the constant mutating a vintage twisted may experience. Some die naturally due to the strain on their body.

Hybrid toons are more difficult. One part of them could twist and lose their mind, but another would be fine, with possibly just a foggy head. Struggling to control their body from their frenzied part. But the body, depending on the toons involved may drastically be mutilated. In the worst case, they could die and twist, leaving no control and more unpredictable than a vintage. Harder to put down, but more easily lured to fight another twisted.

While off colors simply appear different then normal toons. Example being an Ebony Detective Rodger compared to a normal Twisted Rodger. While behavior remains the same as the base, unless the off color had a mutation that was very out of place.

There are possibly more details between each ‘stage’ but they have yet to be logged by any living toon. She might have an answer though.

Notes:

Dyle hunting has been hogging my time like hell. Updates to stuff might be even slower because this CHEW TOY-

Chapter 16: The Knight (Dyle Timesly)

Notes:

THE MAN WHO'S HAD MY BRAINCELL FOR LIKE 13 DAYS????????????????

Chapter Text

The only one of them who has contact with outside of Gardenview, he witnessed the arrival of three odd guests. The first ones to have arrived in decades.
He "Serves" as Dandy's left hand. Often times called to the center of the flower's territory to talk about what has to be done about specific toons.
More so being told to handle them.
His floor is inescapable unless a toon finds the maintenance tunnels and manages to be free of him.
But even then, he has left his floor to hunt pesky toons that managed to get free.

Despite this, he has another task, one of higher priority then tending to whatever ill idea Dandy has.
Which leads to his sassing the flower and ushering him off the floor without much else.
He has connections to Rook, Bishop and an Alternative toon named Durand.
Some have rumored he's just as mindless of a killer as Dandy. However this is the furthest from the truth.
He can stop the ticking as he wills and does NOT need to see a toon to speed up. He often prefers to make it seem like such to give Dandy a show.

Sudden contact makes him violently uncomfortable, so he keeps most he works with at arms length. However Dandy often ignores this.

He, like the flower, can twist and untwist. Often preferring to be a toon, same as the flower but for different reasons. As twisting is painful for him, and has never gotten easier like it has for the flower. The pain from it can linger for days after and make him feel ill.

He has some sort of relative in the cast, but it's unclear as to who it is. Given as he wouldn't change his interactions with any specific toon.

He is blind to most of Dandy's actions.

Chapter 17: Judge (Alternative Lethal)

Notes:

I am not dead!!!
I've been chipping away at a lot of different things but figured I need to hand y'all another dash of information on another character!
Unfortunatly. I can't tell much of this one LOL.

Chapter Text

This lethal has phases to her encounters. But those are not important, what is important however. Is what she protects.
Further down in Gardenview there's tell of a place that Dandy cannot reach. Where a beast fights him to prevent entry.

She's noted for the eye on her chest, two arms made of the ichor coming out of her back. Her tail split into four parts and acting as a second mouth, Her lower jaw splits into two parts, both moving independently.
She has no hint of rainbow in her twisted form, besides a collar tangled around her neck.
She is claimed to be 'The mother of the alternatives'.
Acting as a stone wall against Dandy's chaos and iron grip.

She protects her mains, her pups.
However she will not hesitate to act upon hostility brought to her doorstep. Standing guard since the unfair treatment of her cast. Always watching, always listening.
Mother Judge has kept them safe. And will continue to do so.
