Chapter Text

It was the end of the school day. Aizawa was happy he was close to taking his fifth nap of the day but he just needed to tell one thing to one student. “All right that’s it for today, your english reports are almost finished being graded so you’ll get them next week.” He said as the class began packing their things and exiting “Oh and Midoriya stay here for a moment I need to tell you something”. Most of the students looked at their fellow green-haired classmate before finishing up packing their things.

The green-haired boy was wondering what Aizawa wanted to talk to him about, but he wasn’t sure he knew he hadn’t done anything wrong recently.

As the rest of the class had left for their dorm the classroom was empty except for their fellow classmate and teacher, “You’re not in any trouble or anything, but I do need you to come with me to Nezu office”.

At first he was relieved when he heard he wasn’t in trouble but why did he and Aizawa needed to go to the principal's office. Was it about black whip, he hated keeping his secret from people he is close to but he needed to keep One for All secret from most people, he knew that Nezu knows about One for All so maybe he only wants to tell Aizawa, he was just hoping nothing bad comes out of it.

They both exited the class room and made their way to the principal office, Midoriya only thought it was his teacher finding out his secret, once they reached his office Midoriya expected All Might and Recovery Girl to be there since they also knew about One for All. There were two more people in the principal's office but not who he was expecting.

Once they went inside he saw Monoma and Vlad King in the office as well. “What’s this class A scoundrel doing here?” Monoma yelled, Midoriya let out a small sigh, he was relieved it wasn’t about his quirk, but when Monoma was being his usual self around him he knew he’ll be getting an earful out of him.

“Great, you’re here too Aizawa, could you please shut the door” Nezu said to the class 1A homeroom teacher, which he does. “Very well, now for why the two of you are here is this, after the joint training, we saw some great matches between both of your classes” Nezu said to them.

“We would have won, but every match we lost was by a hair” Monoma adds, “ Then he gains a new power out of nowhere and goes crazy, well two quirks or not I would have taken him down and prove that class B is the superior cla..” Monoma was cut off from Aizawa wrapping his scarf around the boy's mouth,”Sorry Nezu you may go on,” the underground hero said, holding the part of his scarf wrapped around Monoma.

“Yes well besides the fighting I notice that both your classes had small interactions, and a post training get together, but has there been anything like that ever since?”. Nezu asks them both.

Monoma couldn’t answer since his mouth was still covered, meanwhile Midoriya on the other hand was looking back at the joint training before his match. Aside from the fights, coming up with a strategy, and Vlad’s biased commentary he does remember some of his classmates interacting with some of class B. “I can’t say that there has been after that day”, Midoriya said.

“Well then I know that the both of you and your classmates are heroes in training but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t live a normal life as teenagers”, Nezu said, “ and instead of having more training exercises between both of you classes, I decided to propose this idea to both of your homeroom teachers a week ago, Vlad was on board but I had to persuade Aizawa, but he decided to go for it”. Nezu said to both of them.

Midoriya was wondering what Nezu was thinking, cause all he could think of was other training exercises but with teams mixed with both class A and B. “Starting tomorrow the both of you will switch classes for a month.” Nezu saud reading his paw in the air.

At the time Aizawa had unwrapped his scarf from Monoma, and both him and Midoriya had a shocked expression on their faces. “You can’t be serious, I have to be in class scoundrel class, he may not be in there but the rest of class A, what gives you the right to put him in my class?” Monoma said, walking up to Nezu. “My title as the principal,” Nezu said to Monoma.

“We are planning on doing this as a chance for both classes to bond, and in case when you all are pros it's a way to work with others you haven’t met before” Vlad said to the both of them. “Plus this is just temporary so after a month you’ll both be back in your original classes” Aizawa followed up.

“But why do I have to be the one to be put in that class?” Monoma said to both teachers. ‘I’m wondering if it's to drop that attitude, glad I won’t be with him,’ Midoriya thought to himself after letting out a small sigh.

“Nezu just said to pick one student from each class, and I think you should be the one so you could get to know class 1-A better than what you tell yourself” Vlad said answering Monoma question. “I selected it randomly,” Aizawa said, Midoriya didn’t know how to feel after hearing that. Lucky he was the one that got picked, or knowing the fact that anyone from his class could be in this position other than himself, until he looked back at Monoma and thought to himself that he was lucky.

“Now that that is settled like I said you’ll both start tomorrow in each other's classes, each dorm has an extra room that isn’t occupied by anyone so you’ll each be occupying that one room so I suggest you both start packing your necessities when you get back to your dorms.” Nezu said to both students.

“Very well, we’ll come to our classes dorms tomorrow right as the class are about to leave for homeroom and say we needed to check something on one of the floors, but in reality we’ll be getting you two” Vlad said to both of them. “Midoriya” Aizawa said turning his head towards the green hair boy, “ if the class asks why I had to keep you after class just tell them that I said Powerloader had a new support item ready for you and you went to test it out and add it to your hero suit” he said. “And I suggest you do the same,” Vlad said to Monoma.

Monoma on the other hand was not happy that he had to be in his sister's class for a month until he thought of something that slightly cheered him up. ‘If class 1-A are getting all the attention maybe now I will get the spotlight, be a main character in the story, yes Phantom Thief the star of the show’ he thought to himself.

“Yes sensei,” Midoriya said to Aizawa. “All right, once you get to the dorms you pack most of your things as soon as you can, and don’t worry about your classmates entering your dorm while you’re gone, I’ll make sure to lock it up until you both switch back” Aizawa said. “Yes sensei” he said, “All right then just don’t tell your classmates about this until we reveal it tomorrow” Midoriya nodded shortly after that both boys started heading back to their classes.

When both boys were walking back Monoma felt like he couldn’t keep his mouth shut for long. “Just know that this doesn’t mean anything between the both of us” Midoriya looked at him confused. “Even without me my class is still superior and starting tomorrow I will take your spotlight and be the main character, and when this is all over they’ll forget you were with them and come crawling back to me when I return and tell them about your classes weaknesses and flaws” Monoma said to him. “Whatever you say” Midoriya said back to him and started walking off. He didn’t know what else to say that wouldn’t retaliate, so he just walked off leaving Monoma in his tracks.

‘Class B will remember me’ as he thought to himself, he then remembers him breaking his fingers, his foot, and his arm at the sports festival and swinging like crazy and causing a lot of damage when black whip first awakened. ‘For all the wrong reasons’ he thought to himself, hanging his head low. After that he made it back to his dorm.

‘I wonder how the others will feel tomorrow,’ he thought to himself as he opened the door. “Oh there he is,” Kirishima said out loud, looking at the door. “Hey Midoriya, what did you do this time?” Kaminari said to him. “Kaminari, it is rude to jump to conclusions about your fellow classmate, please let him speak” Iida said to him.

“So Deku, why did you have to stay after class?” Ururaka asked him while sitting down with chopsticks in her hand about to eat dinner. “Well I uh” Midoriya couldn’t answer at first but then he remembered the lie that Aizawa wanted him. “Aizawa just wanted to tell me that Powerloader had some new support equipment for me so I just went to test them really quick” he answered quickly, he knew he wasn’t the best at lying and he didn’t even like to lie in the first place.

“Is that so well, what did he have for you?” Iida asked. Midoirya felt his heart sink because he didn’t know what to say if they had a follow up question, he just said what Aizawa told him but didn’t know what to say now.

“Well uh …” now he had to come up with a lie, something he never liked but had no choice so he said the first one that came to his mind quickly “Ju-just s-some new boots for my shoot style, he said they're supposed to feel lightweight.” Midoriya said, hoping they will buy it.

“Well then” Iida said, readjusting his glasses, “ that’s wonderful considering you’re nearly flying in the air when you jump for your shoot style, tell me how do they feel?” Midoriya felt lucky once more that he bought it. “They feel lighter than before helps me not feel too weighed down” he said, shaking a little bit hoping Iida buys the lie again. “Alright then, we saved you some dinner whenever you want to eat” Iida said, no longer questioning him.

“Sure” Midoriya said, relieved that he didn’t have to say anymore lies “ just let me change out of my school uniform first” he said walking to the stairs “Alright I’ll have some ready when you come back down” Iida said.

After eating Midoriya headed back to his dorm and started packing his clothes and most of his belongings while anticipating that he would have to be in another class tomorrow with different students. ‘Class B huh’ he thought to himself while holding a shirt that said ‘short sleeve shirt’, ‘I wonder how things will go’ he said to himself while folding the shirt he was holding ‘I hope they treat me well’. Midoriya is nearly done packing what he needs and is hoping to see what tomorrow has in store for him.

Chapter Text

Morning came faster than anyone expected. When Izuku Midoriya woke up he sat up in his bed nervously shaking that he will be in a different class for a whole month starting today. He stayed in bed for a few more minutes and then decided to get up and go down stairs for breakfast.

“You ok Midoriya, you’re shaking a lot ribbit” Asui asked him when she saw him walk down. “Oh uhh,” he didn’t know what to say, and he couldn't tell them that he was temporarily switching classes. “ uh, I uh, I’m just feeling a bit cold” he said. “Oh that sucks, you're just lucky you don’t fall into hibernation, ribbit ” she said back to him, Midoriya was happy she believed him but he wanted to get this over with so he could stop lying.

He then ate, showered and got changed into his school uniform. After a while he was in the common room with everyone else. It was nearing the time they would head to class so Aizawa should be there any minute, so he got up and went to his dorm room. “Midoriya, where are you going? We’re heading to class soon.” Iida asked. “I left my stuff in my dorm, it won’t take long for me to get it, so I’ll be down in a minute.” He said to Iida and was happy that he was technically telling the truth. “Very well, if we leave before you do try to head to class on time, but please don’t run in the hall” Iida said back to him, he does take his role of class rep seriously. Midoriya nodded, then went up the stairs to his dorm.

Shortly after, Aizawa came into class 1-A dorms. “Oh Mr. Aizawa, may I ask why you're here,” Iida said to his home-room teacher. “It’s fine Iida I’ll just say it, Powerloader said there was a small plumbing issue at one of the general education dorms, so he ask me to check the bathrooms see if they're ok” Aizawa said to Iida, little to they know it was one of his ‘Logical depictions’ and was there to get Midoriya.

“Oh great, one of the sinks on my floor pressure was low when I tried washing my hands yesterday, I tried it again this morning and the pressure is still low, I was going to report at lunch” Sero said to Aizawa. ‘There’s actually a small plumbing problem?’, the night time hero thought to himself. “Well anyways I’ll check it out and report it to Powerloader so he can fix it as soon as he can.” Aizawa said. “Wait, he does plumbing?” Ojiro said, looking up from his phone. “Who do you think did the plumbing and wiring when we built the dorms? He didn’t do every dorm by himself though if you’re wondering.” Aizawa replied, “But anyways you all should start heading to class, I’ll be there when I finish doing what I need to do”. Aizawa said this so he can get Midoriya without the class being there, and should probably check on the plumbing later.

“Yes, I agree with you sensei, you all heard him let's start heading to class” Iida said out loud to everyone in the common room doing his signature head chops. ‘He needs to tone it down a bit,’ Aizawa thought to himself before heading up the stairs. He could hear them walking out when he started waking up, by the time he reached Midoriya’s room he knew the coast would be clear when they left.

“Midoriya, are you in there?” He said while knocking. “Yes” He answered after opening the door. Aizawa could see some boxes behind him, he even noticed the boy posters were still up and a couple All Might figures. Aizawa knew there was something between All Might and Midoriya, and after seeing this he doesn’t know if he should dig deeper or not. “All right, just leave your stuff out here and some of the robots we have here will come carry it to your temporary dorm” He said to him. Midoriya nodded and then began to move the boxes, Aizawa helped him out so it could get done quicker.

“All right, now before I lock up your dorm, is there anything else you need to grab?” Aizawa said while going through his pocket and pulled out the key Nezu gave him. “I have everything I need here but I do need to check on one thing” he replied to his teacher, before walking inside his dorm checking if the newly installed glassed dorm was locked. “Alright” he said while closing the curtains, “ that’s everything” he said while walking out. “Ok then” Aizawa said before locking the door, and shaking the nob to make sure it was locked. “Let’s go, Vlad should be getting Monoma by now” both men began walking out.

The walk was silent, both men didn’t say a thing but Aizawa noticed Midoriya shaking a bit so he tried to calm the boy down. “Don’t worry, I get that you’re nervous but like we said stuff like this will happen when you go pro, plus you worked with different heroes during the chia hisaki raid, I think you’ll be just fine” he hoped the small pep talk calmed the boy down a bit, “Yeah, you’re right thanks Mr Aizawa” and he was right, by the time he calmed down Vlad had just arrived with Monoma.

“Well look, the scoundrel’s here” Monoma said when he arrived, “Don’t start” Vlad said to Monoma. “All right then, Midoriya before Vlad takes you to B - “ “The superior class” Monoma interrupted. “ … right, well I know the class will miss you and so will I. Good luck but I know you’ll do good anyway and maybe you’ll get that black stuff under control.” Midoriya didn’t know how to describe what he was feeling, it’s not everyday or every week Aizawa would try to make anyone from his class feel this good. He savored it cause he knew he won't get something like this from him again.

“And Monoma, please try not to cause any trouble while you’re in 1-A” Vlad said to his soon to be former student. “I know that I come off too much but I know when to keep myself in check” Monoma replied. Midoriya's only time he saw him where he wasn't obnoxious was when he tried to copy Eri’s quirk.

“Alright then, Midoriya please follow me to Class B” Vlad said looking at his temporary new student. “Yes sir, I will see you in a month Mr. Aizawa” Midoriya said before going over with Vlad King. “Alright then, I’ll see you then Monoma, please come with me.” Both students went with their temporary new teachers.

As Midoriya and Vlad were walking it wasn’t long until Vlad decided to break the ice. “Aizawa said out of everyone in his class you were the one that made the most improvement since the beginning of the school year, do you feel like you have?” Vlad asks him. “I have.” Midoriya replied back not feeling nervous. “That’s great, there’s no doubt in my mind that you’ll be able to control that black stuff that came out of you during the joint training.” Not even three minutes into being his temporary new student and he’s getting praised.
They arrived at class 1-B room, “Alright just wait right here and don’t come in until I tell you to” Vlad said as he walked towards the door. “Yes sir” Midoriya replied right before Vlad opened the door and walked in. As he walked in all of the members of class 1-B were chatting amongst themselves, most hadn’t even noticed Vlad walking in.

“All right settled down” Everyone in class B didn’t hear him and were still talking amongst each other “I SAID SETTLE DOWN OR YOU ARE ALL RUNNING 5 KILOMETERS FOR PE” not even a second after yelling that the class was silent. “Alright then now before home room starts I would like to make an announcement, as you may or may not have noticed Monoma is not here, ” after saying this some students did look at his empty seat, a few students knew he was gone but thought he wasn’t feeling well.

“Well don’t worry he’s fine but he won’t be with us for a while,” “Did you give house arrest” “No Shoda, I did not. Basically Nezu wanted there to be more bonds and connections between both our class and class 1-A. So for the time being Monoma is being transferred to class 1-A.” This does surprise most of the students, some see it as a win since the class will be less obnoxious.

“That sounds like a bad idea” everyone was thinking it but someone was willing to say it. “Out of everyone in this class, I didn’t expect to hear that from you Kendo, you’re supposed to lead an example to the rest of your classmates.” Vlad said to the class rep. “Right sorry” the orange haired girl said then decided to be quiet. “Like I said, Monoma is being transferred temporarily to class 1-A in an attempt to bring the hero classes closer together. Likewise we will be receiving someone from class 1-A to be here until they switch back.” Shortly after Vlad says this, the class wonders who they will be getting. They didn’t know the students from their sister class too much, but they were hoping that they didn’t get Bakugo.

“So when will they arrive?” Kendo asks this time, waiting for her teacher to finish speaking. “You don’t have to wait very long cause he is standing outside right now” Vlad said to the class then turning his head towards the door. “You may come in now.”

The door opens and in pops a boy with green hair “He-hey everyone” said the green haired boy “MIDORIYA” nearly every student said aloud.

“That’s right, he will be joining us for a month so please treat him with respect and how you all treat each other.” Vlad said to the class. Nearly everyone was in shock when they saw him, but they didn’t know who to expect. And a certain girl had a small blush on her face.

“Anyway ,” Vlad said facing Midoriya, “ me and Aizawa forgot to mention all the teachers know about the switch and that both your heroes' suits have been switched, so yours is here. And we will have our heroics lesson before lunch today ""Wow that early?” Midoriya asks as he was surprised. “Yes, some days we have it before you would usually have it, other days we have it around the same time but we’re in a different mock city doing a completely different exercise” Vlad answered him.

“Alright there’s only one empty seat, “ Vlad said pointing at the seat “ so you don’t need me to tell you where to sit””Yes sir” Midoriya said walking towards his new seat. As he sat down the girl that was blushing earlier took a quick glance at him then turned her head back ‘He’s in my class, I can get close to him at least’ she thought to herself.

Meanwhile in Class 1-A

Everyone was talking amongst themselves waiting for their teacher to finish his inspection, and Iida to scold Midoriya for being late.

A minute later their teacher walked inside “Alright please get to, “ before he could finish almost everyone was in their seat “ alright then” he said before walking up to the podium. “Now before homeroom starts I have an announcement, I’m sure some of you may or may not have noticed Midoriya is not here” he said while some classmates looked at his empty desk. “I TOLD HIM NOT TO BE LATE” Iida said out loud jumping out of his chair “ and I’m sure you warned him while doing your inspection I’ll be sure to scold him right as he walks thr-””Sit down and don’t interrupt again” Aizawa said while activating his quirk not letting him finish, Iida does so.

“Now about Midoriya, in an attempt to bring both class A and class B closer together Nezu decide to do it in a way that doesn’t involve hero exercises, so Midoriya has been transferred to class B for a month” Aizawa announced to the class “WHAT” almost everyone said out loud. “Wait for a whole month? But today is the first day of the month”” I’m aware of that Jirou, we picked today for that reasoned” he said back to her. ‘Huh, if he’s in the second best class with all those extra then there’s no one to surpass me while I’m here’ Bakugo thought to himself while smirking.

“So there actually was no plumbing issue in the gen ed dorms, that was a logical deception so I could go get him, or at least it was until what Sero told me. But remember this is just temporary so he’ll be back before you know it. However we will be getting someone from class B here as well” he announced. “Oh I wonder who it is,” Ashido said while everyone else was wondering the same thing. “You won’t have to wonder for a while Ashido cause they are outside the door right now, “ Aizawa then turned his head towards the door. “Sorry to keep you waiting, you may come in now,” he said.

The class didn’t know who they were getting or who to expect but when the door opened and their temporary new classmate walked in all the excitement was out the window. “Hello class A” Monoma said after walking in.

“MONOMA” is said by everyone this time. “That’s right, for the whole month Monoma will be joining us here in class A while Midoriya is in class B” Aizawa said to the whole class.

“But why does it have to him””You know how he acts””Can’t we get someone else””Why couldn’t we get someone hot” a bunch of students said one after the other when seeing who they got.

“Silence” Aizawa said, activating his quirk again and everyone was silent. “I’m aware of how he acts towards all of you but please be respectful, after Vlad actually wanted him to be here so maybe while he’s here he can learn to respect you all” Aizawa said ‘We’ll see about that’ Monoma thought to himself. “However Monoma you do know that you need to respect them yourself, that is the reason Vlad chose you to be in here” Aizawa said looking at Monoma. “Very well, I guess I can try” Monoma replied back.

‘It’s a start,’ Aizawa thought to himself. “Alright now without starting something take the empty seat behind Bakugo””Alright then” As Monoma walked to the empty seat he had a small smirk growing on his face. ‘I honestly prefer the nerd over copycat freak’ Bakugo thought to himself. ‘This should be interesting’ Monoma thought to himself as he was sitting down.

In another seat someone had an idea in their head. Kirishima felt a tap on his shoulder and looked towards Sero. “Hey, ” Sero whispers at Kirishima, “ 1500 yen says he makes Bakugo go off before lunch” Sero says as he pulls out the yen. “You're on” Kirishima whispers back and pulls out his own 1500 yen. “I want in on it too” Kaminari whispers as he pulls out his own 1500 yen. “I say he makes him go off during heroics.” All three boys have a small giggle as Sero collects the yen. As he was putting the yen in his pocket his arm was suddenly wrapped in a scarf and pulled.

“I said you need to be respectful” Aizawa said with his quirk activated once more and talking in an unimpressed tone. “And here you go starting something and he’s not even five minutes into the class. You really need to respect others no matter what so you can work together. Not to make bets on who is going to start a fight with who and when,” Aizawa confiscates the 4500 yen as he says this. “Dang it” all boys said this with their heads low.

Aizawa walks to the podium and puts the yen in his pocket. “All right on to the first lesson”

Chapter Text

As the students had just finished their math lesson, it was almost time for heroics. Midoriya felt weird in two ways. First he’s in a whole new class and barely knows anybody, and he will be having heroics earlier than usual. “Alright ,“ Ectoplasm said to the class “ that’s it for math today, Vlad should be back any minute for your heroics lesson” he said before walking out. Less than a minute later Vlad walked into the room.

“Alright, grab your hero suits and meet up at ground Gamma. Midoriya we use the same locker room as 1-A so don’t worry about being confused” Vlad said to the class and to the green haired boy.

Every student stood up, grabbed their briefcase and walked to the locker room, Midoriya didn’t say a thing, just acted like everything was normal.

Meanwhile in class 1-A

Aizawa had just finished his lecture and was walking towards the side of the class where his sleeping bag was. “Alright, Ectoplasm should be here any minute for math, “ he said while getting into his sleeping bag “ just talk amongst yourselves and don’t wake me “” But sir what about heroics” Monoma said as Aizawa was sitting down, “What do you mea- oh I forgot. You usually have it before us, you’ll have it after lunch while you’re here in 1-A so … if that’s … alright with … you.” He said while closing his eyes before snoring. 

Monoma looked slightly shocked at Aizawa just napping in the class while the students were there with him.‘He’s sleeping in his class’ Monoma thought to himself before looking at the scoundrels students who were chatting to each other. ‘do they do not mind this at all’ “Not that it's any of my business but does he normally sleep in here?” he asked, gaining the attention of a few students, some ignored him while others actually were doing what Aizawa had said. “More than you think, we have gotten used to it” Jiro said, hoping he doesn’t berate them.

Monoma just smirked, Jiro noticed this and regrets opening her mouth. “Ha I see, so while you wait in between lessons, your teacher just sleeps here, not like Vlad he actually exits the class to do whatever he does.” He stood up from Midoriya’s his desk“Not just take naps, one thing that proves MY CLASS IS THE -” “Dude you’re not in class B you’re here in A” Kirishima said being slightly annoyed “Plus he said not to be so loud so lower your voice” Sato making his remark.

Monoma just scoffed and sat back down. “Very well then” he looked at Aizawa, surprised he didn’t wake up. “Hey is it true you guys have heroics before us?” Hagakure asked looking back. “Pfft” Monoma scoffed again “ why would I give you intel about how my class runs. You’re just going to gain this information to overthrow us and be the center of attention” ‘Here he goes’ almost everyone thought, meanwhile Monoma stood up again “ so you think if you befriend me while I’m here when your classmate in causing trouble in my class, you’ll get me to lower my guard and I will give you intel about my class, well. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN” he shouted while leaning back almost if he was doing limbo. “I WON’T GIVE ANY OF YOU DETAILS JUST SO YOU CAN COPY US AND OVERTHROW US, YOU WON’T BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION FOR LONG, MY REAL CLASS WILL ALWAYS BE THE SUPERIO-”” HEY COPYCAT” he was cut off by a certain ashy blond “ the teacher said to not be too loud so shut the hell up “ Bakugo turned around in his chair being hypocritical trying to get Monoma to stop shouting.

Monoma on the other hand just fixed his posture and giggled. ”So, I have your attention” Monoma laughed, everyone looked, Sero on the other hand was mad knowing by now he would have had 4500 yen by now. “It’s going to be real fun while I’m here with you, when my class raises when I get back the first thing we’ll do is avenge team Tokage and take revenge on you, then you’ll all fall at the hands of the superior cla-” he was cut off when an erasure hit his head, “Enough, “ Aizawa said getting out of his sleeping bag. Everyone was wondering when he woke up “ I said not to wake me, and you were told to be respectful so please,” he activated his quirk and his hair stood up, “sit back down.” Monoma just listened to what he said.

Aizawa stood up grabbing his sleeping bag, while at the same time Ectoplasm opened the door. “Alright now that that is out of the way I’ll leave it to you Ectoplasm””Alright” Ectoplasm nodded while saying that and Aizawa walked out of the classroom holding his sleeping bag. ‘I should get the whole body one’s Mic told me about’ he thought to himself while walking down the hall.

Back with Class B

The students have gathered around ground Gamma for training. As the students were talking Vlad came by with a bag in his hand to explain the lesson. “Alright,” he said, “ today we will be doing 2v2, here’s how we’ll do it. There will be a hero team and a villain team. The hero team will have ten minutes to fight their opponents, and put these handcuffs on them,” he said while pulling out a pair of handcuffs. “Now the villain team will either have to take the handcuffs from the hero and put them on them to take out the heroes, or run out the clock, however we will be picking teams different today” he reached into the bag and pulled out a box.

“Instead of drawing a letter or number for your teams, I’ll be picking the teams. In this box are pieces of paper with you names on them, I’ll be draw the teams with this to determine each match, first match will be, “ he put his free hand inside the box, and pulled out two strips of paper “Kaibara and Midoriya as the heroes, and” he put his hand back into the box and grabbed to more slips of paper “ Rin and Shishida as the villians, get into your teams as I call out the rest,” he said.

Midoriya was a little nervous; he was starting now he just had to find his partner. “K-Kaibara? Who was that again?” he whispered to himself. “That would be me””Waa” Midoriya was surprised when he saw his partner who had sneaked up on him. He wasn’t too familiar with all of class B but he knew this was the guy that fought Ojiro in the joint training.

“Woah sorry about that, didn’t mean to startle you” Kaibara said to Midoriya. “No it’s ok, so you’re Kaibara right?” Midoriya said back and asked. 

“Yeah that's me. Since you didn’t see much of my quirk during the joint training my qui-””Your quirk allows you to spin like a drill right?” Midoriya interrupted. “Sorry I-I just get really excited about quirks” he said. “Yeah, but it's any part of my body I choose to spin, not my whole body. And your quirk is just a strength enhancer, plus that black stuff that went crazy.” Kaibara said back to him.

“Well that’s true about my first quirk, but that black stuff I haven’t been able to do it since that day,” Midoriya said holding his hand “ and I don’t have any control yet but I doubt I would be able to use it so I think we won’t have any problems” he said.

“All right, “ Vlad said “ now thats all the teams have been announced in order of matches we will start soon, Midoriya, Kaibara, Shishida, and Rin please head to the following places on the training ground marked on the map“ he said looking up at a screen showing two dots where each team needed to go. “You’ll each have five minutes to come up with a strategy, as for the rest of you I suggest coming up with one before each of your matches start” Vlad said to the rest of the class.

Both teams have started walking towards their designated spots to form a plan.

When Midoriya and Kaibara came to their spot to form a plan Kaibara was the first to open his mouth. “We need to come up with something quick cause the second Shishida goes beast mode he’ll smell us and come running, here what you should know, “ before he could say anything Midoriya interrupted.

“I have a good idea about their quirks. Shishida beast mode increases his senses and strength however he loses control over himself, while Rin can make scales appear all over his body, he can attack at close range or use them as projectiles, and as shields” Midoriya finished his deduction.

Kaibara's jaw dropped and said, “Well, yeah that's basically it, I can take on Rin, cause most likely he’ll be riding on Shishida when he gets here, but I hate to leave you alone with him” Kaibara said looking at Midoriya. Kaibara has remembered some exercises when Shishida didn’t have the best control over himself in beast mode and caused a lot of damage. He has gotten better since the beginning of the school year, but still.

“You don’t need to worry.” Midoriya said back to Kaibara. “I can only use twenty percent of my power at best without breaking anything, but I think I can stand toe to toe Shishida, I do think you should take on Rin, maybe you spinning your limbs won’t hurt you as much”

“You won’t believe it, me and him train together along with Awase and Tsuburaba, but yeah it should be a good defence, Shishida does know my scent and he’ll get yours as well, how do we counter that?” Kaibara asked.

“We can use that to our advantage, if he comes here then he’ll lead us to him and most likely Rin” Midoriya answered

“FIRST MATCH MAY BEGIN”

They heard it over an intercom, “Right let's move,” Kaibara said. Midoriya nodded and jumped to full cowling.

Both boys were running in the same direction. ‘Nothings happening just yet’ Midoriya thought to himself. Soon after they both heard some banging. “Get ready” one of them said, and the banging got closer.

Soon Shishida had run through some pipes crashing some in the process while breaking a few more. He panted a bit while staring down both boys, “found you” he said. Soon some scales appeared out of nowhere and shot down in Midoriya and Kaibara’s direction,  they both jumped out of the way.

“Ha” Rin said, neither of them could see where he was, both thought he was on Shishida’s back, but Midoriya saw he was standing on top of a few pipes with his arms pointing at them. He shot a few more scales, “Kaibara look out” Midoriya said before pushing him out the way.

“I’ll take Rin””Good idea”, after that Shishida punched the ground close to where they were standing, but both moved out of the way. Kaibara started spinning his legs and went towards where Rin was. 

“No you don’t” Shishida said he turned towards him but was met with something else.

“SMASH” Midoriya had landed a hit on him and faced towards him.

Shishida was barely phased, and tried to punch Midoriya, he dodge his attack and tried to counter. Shishida had shrunk back down to his normal form, causing Midoriya to miss and just punch the air.

“That was a good hit, let us keep going shall we?” Shishida said.

‘8 percent barely phased him, I’ll go to twenty and see where this goes’ Midoriya thought to himself before raising One for All’s power level.

He launched himself towards Shishida, and punched him in the gut, Shishida fell back a few feet before transforming into his beast form again.

He tried swinging at Midoriya; he ducked underneath him before uppercutting him, he then jumped back and tried to use air force. It landed on him but didn’t do much, Shishida ran towards Midoriya again.

He tried to use air force again, but only ended up knocking his glasses off. Shishida stopped in place before picking his glasses back up. As he put them back on, he was met with another fist to the face, this time a stronger one than before. He stepped back a bit then released a loud roar.

Rin saw Shishida struggle a bit and tried to shoot some scales at Midoriya. As he aimed his arms he started shaking and losing his balance, before falling off where he was standing. Kaibara had rattled where he was before both of them stared each other down.

“Let’s do this,” Kaibara said. Rin smiled and said “Yeah” 

Back with the other students they were observing the match and giving their own opinions

“Man, Midoriya is giving Shishida a hard time,” Shoda said. “And to think at the beginning of the year he was going whack out crazy and breaking his bones all like ‘bbrrr’” Manga added with an exclamation mark on his face.

Kamakiri was watching and had a small smile on his face. ‘His fighting skills are good, I wonder how he’ll do against me’. When he  was thinking this a small blade began appearing on his palm, but was quickly put away and kept watching.

“Holy S**t he’s giving Shishida a run for his f***ing money. Guys not backing down” Awase said, but was then whipped by a Vine. “Please refrain from using such harsh language,” Shiozaki said.

The students were impressed with Midoriya, they mainly knew him as the guy that broke his bones every time he used his quirk, but now they are seeing him holding his own against one of their toughest classmates.

“Still I wonder if he’ll use that black stuff and go crazy again?” Testutestu said. “Guy went crazy that day, instead of breaking himself, he did a lot of damage, what next will he fly?” Tsuburaba commented.

A certain girl ignored some of her peers' judgement and focused on him and how he’s doing. ‘Please don’t listen to them, you’re doing great. Please don’t hurt yourself.’

Back in the fight, Shishida was nearly exhausted. ‘I think I can finish him soon, and help Kaibara’ , Midoriya thought to himself.

Back with Kaibara he was currently dodging some scales from Rin. He even tried to scratch him a few times but both couldn’t do much damage with the blows he landed thanks to Kaibara spinning his limbs.

‘I know what I must do’ Shishida thought to himself, catching his breath. Soon he charged towards Midoriya again, Midoriya charged towards him as well. He tried to go for another punch thinking it’ll knock him out.

Shishida however shrunk down to his normal form and ducked under. He changed back into his beast form. Midoriya anticipated that he was going for an attack, he turned around quickly as he could only to see Shishida running away so he followed.

Rin and Kaibara weren’t too far and still going at it. Shishida was closing in and this time he was going for Kaibara. ‘If I take him out, then we might have a chance of beating him 2 on 1’ Shishida thought to himself.

Midoriya was close by and saw Shishida running towards Rin and Kaibara, ‘Wait is he planning on taking Kaibara out’ he thought to himself and kept running.

“Getting tired,” Kaibara said, focusing on Rin not paying attention to what is around him. Rin on the other hand could see Shishida running towards them and smiled, “Not yet, but you will be soon” he said knowing what could happen.

Rin jumped to his right, this confused Kaibara but he didn’t think much of it and was about to charge towards him again. Only to hear a loud roar and he turned around and finally noticed Shishida.

Shishida was about to go for an undercut in his beast form knowing this will be enough to put him away.

Kaibara was about to rotate his upper body in hopes of it doing some damage to Shishida but wasn’t quick enough.

“KAIBARA LOOK OUT’ Midoriya yelled and shoved Kaibara out of the way, only to be hit with a full forced undercut that wasn’t meant for him.

He was sent flying and bounced off the ground a few times before hitting his back on a large pipe. He stayed down for a moment and didn’t look like he was getting back up.

Shishida had shrunk down again, him along with Rin and Kaibara looked at Midoriya’s body with their mouths wide open in shock. ‘Sir Midoriya, please forgive me’ he thought to himself. It wasn’t too long since he let himself lose control in his beast form. Everytime he did he was always guilty. He gained better control since his time in UA but still needed to be kept in check every now and then.

Back with the other students everyone was just as shocked as the people fighting.

“HOLY S**T” Awase said he wasn’t hit with a vine since Shiozaki was focused on the screen. “I think Shishida put him down for the count” was followed by Shoda.

Manga had two exclamation marks on his face to show he was shocked as well. “Bro, he definitely went overboard this time,” he said.

‘No! Please be ok, please get up’ a certain girl thought to herself.

Vlad was about to call off the match and call some robots to get Midoriya but didn’t after he saw what was happening on the screen.

Midoriya slowly but surely was getting up from Shishida’s attack holding his side, he coughed up some saliva and stood on both of his feet.

“Sir Midoriya, please forgive me, I went too far and I have trouble sometimes controlling myself in my beast form” Shishida said out loud. “I..it’s fine” Midoriya said, limping a bit. “Is … isn’t that why we are training, … to have … better control over us … when we become pros” he said over a few gasps catching his breath.

“He’s right” Kaibara said “ this fight is not over””But he’s not in a good condition to continue, I believe it’s best to call off the match” Shishida said. Vlad heard this and agreed with him and was about to put the mic to his mouth “NO” Midoriya said, causing Vlad to not raise the mic past his chest.

“I’m still standing so that means I can continue” he said then charged up One for All to fifteen percent. “Plus I know you guys have been training for moments like this, and you've been training your quirks to the best of their abilities, so why stop now?” he said.

Back with the other, a certain student was crying tears of joy. “He’s so manly, he’s willing to keep fighting even after an attack like that” Testutestu said.

‘I need to spare with him once’ Kamikiri thought to himself.

'Please don't scare me like that again, please don't hurt youself anymore' a certain girl said.

“Yeah he’s right, besides why stop now when we can take advantage of this moment” Rin said before firing a few scales at Midoriya who jumped out of the way. He used air force while jumping, two shots missed while one hit him in the chest. Kaibara took advantage, and uppercut Rin and put the cuffs on Rin.

“RIN IS OUT WITH ONLY TWO MINUTES REMAINING” said over the intercom.

Shishida had transformed into his beast form and growled “Very well, let’s finish this” he charged at them and they did the same.

He tried to get Midoriya with a left hook, but with all the times Kacchan was predictable, he was able to dodge it, and went for an uppercut while Kaibara had landed a gut punch causing Shishida to fall back.

They took advantage of this and put the cuffs on him sealing their victory.

“SHISHIDA IS OUT, HERO TEAM WINS” said over the intercom again.

Chapter Text

“Alright time for the post match critique” Vlad said. All four boys were standing right in front of him, out of all four Midoriya was the only one showing signs of pain by holding his side.

“I won’t go into depth too much so I will skip to the obvious part, Midoriya” he turned his head towards the green hair boy, the sound of his name made Midoriya flinch a bit “ what were you thinking when you pushed Kaibara out of the way allowing yourself to get hurt?”

Midoriya stayed silent for a moment but then answered. “When I saw Shishida running towards Kaibara I knew what his intentions were, I knew I couldn’t stop Shishida from attacking Kaibara so protecting my teammate was my top priority at the moment, ” this caused Kaibara to look at the green hair boy but he Midoriya still kept his eyes focused on Vlad. “ I know what I did was not worth it but as long as I can protect someone I believe that is all that matters. After all, protecting others isn't the point of being a hero” he said.

Vlad was amused by his answer but that still wasn’t an excuse to put himself into harm's way. “Midoriya, there’s a difference between protecting others, and sacrificing yourself. What you said is true. The point of being a hero is to protect those who can’t defend themselves. But then there are those who sacrifice themselves by either putting themselves into harm’s way, or by choosing to fight and protect and not caring if they make it out alive just as long as they felt like they had help out in a way.” Vlad said and then continued.

“What you did was sacrifice, it’s good that you want to protect and save others, but you need to remember that you still need to protect yourself and if you can’t save yourself then how are you expecting to save others?” Midoriya stayed silent while Vlad said this but it reminded him of what Aizawa told him on the first day of school, except Vlad’s were less harsh.

“Please just be more careful, this is just training so you don’t need to be going all out during these trials. Other than that, each and everyone of you did well. Shishida looks like you still need to gain better control over yourself” He said looking at Shishida who nodded.

“All right you’re all dismissed, however, “ two robots came with a stretcher “Midoriya I recommended you go to Recovery Girl and try to make it back here as fast as you can” Midoriya nodded and sat down on the stretcher and the robots took him to her office.

“All Right the second match will begin soon,” Vlad said aloud.

When Midoriya reached her office he was hesitant to open the door, as he did Recovery Girl took a quick glance and said, “Oh you’re back. If I’m being honest I do miss your company just like at the beginning of the school year, but that wasn’t your fault it was that big buffoon”

“Ha ha, yeah” Midoriya laughed awkwardly rubbing the back of his head.

“Well from the looks of it your limbs don’t seem broken, but I was watching your match in this monitor, “ she motions her hands at a computer screen showing the faux city they were in “ this is just so I know what injuries the students would have without explaining it” 

Midoriya was surprised to see how she knew about it, but he didn’t question her. “So just lay here and I’ll scan your body” she pointed at a bed with her cane.

Midoriya nodded and layed down soon after a medical robot was scanning his body and Recovery girl looked at a different monitor to see the issue.

“Well you don’t have anything broken for once “ she said as her little inside joke “ you just have some soreness, but I saw this many times when I was working as an EMT for boxing. So would you like my healing, or would you like me to give you some pain killers?” she asked.

Midoriya was thinking for a second, sure her healing would fix him up right away and he’ll be back to normal, but then he thought back to the first day of school when she told him that overusing her quirk on one individual could end up killing them.

“I’ll take the pain killers today” he answered her.

“Very well, I’ll give this pill for now and some numbing cream, come back at the end of the day and I’ll give you some for the next few days. And you should be healed in the next 2-3 days” she then handed him a pill and a protein bar “Eat this it’ll keep your strength up” 

He gladly took both and after swallowing the pill he opened and took a few bites of the protein bar. Soon she came back with a tube of cream.

“When you’re done rub this on the area where you feel pain, and you can head back” he nodded and did as he was told.

“You know I should have given you a stamp card, and maybe three more medical visits and you would have won a prize” she jokingly said which they both laughed.

He had just finished applying the cream to himself and was about to walk out. “Alright thanks Recovery Girl.” As he walked out, Recovery girl looked back at her monitor. “I know he’ll be back here soon” she said to herself.

‘But that thing with One for All, could he be able to use Nana’s quirk as well’ she thought to herself. The news about Midoriya gaining more quirks soon was only told to those who knew about One for All. ‘I hope he doesn’t come back here too often trying to learn them’

Midoriya had walked back into the middle of the second match, he didn’t miss much but now he doesn’t really know what to do since he already had his match and he didn’t know anybody too well.

“MIDORIYA” the sound of his name being yelled out made him jump a bit and looked to see who was calling him then saw someone running up to him.

“Midoriya, that was awesome, you were so manly, ” Testutestu had ran up to him not sounding out of breath after running, “ he knocked you down and we all thought you were done for. But then you got back up and decided to keep fighting. And you took a bullet for team mate you are so MANLY” as he said the last part he activated his quirk and pumped his fist together.

“Uh uh yeah thanks” he didn’t know how else to respond. “We need to hit the gym sometime. What's your workout routine?” he grabbed his shoulders and started shaking him when giving him the offer”

“Sir Midoriya” before he could respond to Testu's question Shishida had come walking up to them. “Please forgive me for that attack, I thought I could handle myself better when I go into my beast form” Shishida had bowed his head while apologizing.

Midoriya had turned towards him causing Testutestu to let go of his shoulders. “It’s alright Shishida. Besides I know things could have gone worse, but I should be fine in a few days so I think I should be good”

“A few days? Have you let Lady Recovery Girl use her quirk on you?” Shishida asked due to his confusion of Midoriya’s response. 

“Well she said it wasn’t too bad of an injury and I have nothing broken, so you didn’t hurt me as bad as you thought you did. So she gave me the choice of either her using her quirk on me, or giving me pain killers and ointment. So I went with the second option”

“Hey Midoriya,” he turned to see Kaibara along with Rin, and Awase. “Thanks for the save, I owe you big time.”

“It’s ok Kaibara, I was just doing what I thought any hero should have done, although thinking to what Vlad said I know I could have done it differently” his head nearly hung low.

“Hey don’t beat yourself up, besides I should be thanking you for taking that hit or I’d be in your shoes, … that should have been better, but thanks”

Soon Midoriya felt someone tugging on his sleeve. He turned and the first thing he saw was a girl with brown bobbed hair.

“Oh Urura-” when he finally got a good look of their face he blushed in embarrassment. “Oh sorry, I thought you were someone else”

“It’s ok shroom ” he had mistaken Komori for his friend. She popped a mushroom out of her palm and offered it to him. “Here, if you need it. It should help you with the pain.”

“Oh it’s ok Recovery Girl gave me some pain meds and numbing cream so I should be ok””Are you sure, shroom? ” she lowered her hand which still had the mushroom.

“Yeah, plus I don’t want you to get in any trouble for helping me by doing that” Awase sled next to him and whispered in his ear, “The trick is to take it when Vlad has his back turn, she always helps us when we’re in pain”

Midoriya looked at Awase and back at Komori. “That’s amazing” this surprised Komori, “ this will be helpful when you’re a pro by giving mushrooms as pai-” he was cut off by Awase covering his mouth.

“Dude, be careful what you blur out. Vlad doesn't know about this and if he does you’ll get her in trouble” Midoriya voice was muffled through his hands. Awase let go, allowing him to breathe.

“Sorry about that,” he said, checking his breath.

“It’s fine shroom . But you thought I was someone from your class did you?” Midoriya then thought about what reminded him of his classmate.

“Oh yeah, my friend Ururaka, she has the same bob hair as you do””Do I look mush like her?” she asked, wanting to know more.

“Well not a lot, for one your hair is a lighter tone of brown than hers, plus she doesn’t have bangs” he pointed at his forehead indicating about the bangs.

Komori brushed her hand through her bangs and said, “That’s good to here, all though I have been thinking of cutting them since I can’t she mush through them”

“You don’t have to cut them off, you can trim them, plus they look nice on you and help you stand out” this caught her off guard.

Komori had a slight blush on her cheeks. “Thank you so mush for the compliment. I guess I can keep them, but shorten them a bit”

Izuku nodded and they kept talking to each other.

One two different sides two people were watching but not making it noticeable.

On one side Kuroiro had watched and was slightly jealous. ‘I won’t take this lightly if the bone breaker takes her from me.’

On another side a certain watch and was slightly jealous too, mainly feeling bad that she didn’t check up on him to see if he was alright. ‘I should at least talk to him today.’

45 Minutes Later

“All right that’s the end of heroics for today, go get change, head back to class and wait until lunch starts, I encourage you all to let Midoriya join some of you while he’s here” some of the class nodded and they went to the locker room.

When in the locker room Midoriya had his back turned to everyone and was unaware of what was to come.

“WOW MIDORIYA HOW DID YOU GET THAT SCAR” Testutestu yelled out loud for all to hear. 

Soon Midoriya turned around to see Tetsutetsu examining his right arm. “That’s a pretty nasty scar, you must have done something really manly to get it. How’d you get it”

He then thought back to his fight with Muscular at the training camp, which that fight had taken a huge toll on his arms. “Just fought someone really strong”

This earned him a few stares from the others. “So manly. We got to train someday.” He grabbed his shoulders and shook him again.

“Dude, chill out, he’s still in pain” Kaibara had come to pull Testutestu off Midoriya.

“Oh right, my bad”

‘If you plan to spar with him then get in line. I want to know his strength too’ Kamikiri thought to himself

Meanwhile in Class 1-A

“All Right that’s it for now, go to lunch and we’ll have your heroics lesson after” Aizawa said, nearly ready to walk out the door. “One more thing I encourage all of you to let Monoma be with you, and with that being said I feel like I shouldn’t have to say this, but Monoma you do need to behave yourself” he looked at the blond boy but he didn’t seem scared in the slightest.

Uraraka not wanting to deal with Monoma being Monoma just tap in Iida shoulder and whispered, “Why don’t we try to look for Deku and see if he wants to eat with us”

“You shouldn’t try that. Vlad is even encouraging 1-B to invite him in with them, and I'm sure they're willing to do so” Uraraka was confused on how her teacher had heard her.

“However not just Monoma, but each and every one of you needs to be on your best behavior during lunch” he looked towards Sero, Kirishima, and Kaminari before walking out the door.

'We're never getting are Yen back' all three boys thought to themselves.

In the teachers lounge most of them were sipping coffee or going over paperwork or lesson plans.

“So how is Midoriya doing so far?” Aizawa asked while setting down his mug.

“He hurt himself in training but it shouldn’t be anything too serious, plus his heart is in the right place so I won’t blame him. And Monoma?”

“He made his presence known, for all the wrong reasons.” He took another sip of his coffee

“Well it’s the first day of this so I shouldn’t be surprised, all though, “ he lifted his head towards Aizawa. “ Why did you lie to Midoriya?”

“What do you mean”

“Yesterday when we were in Nezu’s office, you lied to him saying you choose him randomly when picking a student to switch. But when you finally agreed to this you said you wanted Midoriya specifically, so why did you lie, and please don’t say it was a rational deception”

Aizawa just sighed, setting down his mug. “I lied because the real reason I picked him was to boost his confidence” Vlad then asked another question. “If you wanted to boost a student's confidence , couldn't you have picked Koda?”

“Both him and Midoriya have been better since the beginning of the school. Bet Midoriya is still loose around the edges, I thought if I put him in 1-B for the time being it’ll help straighten him up” he took another sip of his coffee.

“Aw that’s sweet, you really do care about your students do you, explains why none have been expelled yet” Mic said trying to tease Aizawa.

“Please don’t” Aizawa was already seemingly annoyed. 

“Dad-zawa, they grow up so fast do they?” Mic is still teasing.

“Enough, no more of that.” Aizawa then activated his quirk but Mic didn’t flinch. “Come we both know that stopped scaring me years ago.”

He deactivated his quirk and had just remembered something. “But this morning when I went to get him, I lied to my class saying there’s a plumbing issue at the gen ed dorms and needed to inspect the bathrooms. But one of my students said there’s low water pressure on his floor,” he turned his head towards Power Loader. “ I’d hate to ask but do you mind checking it out?”

“I’d love to, but there actually is a plumbing problem at one of the gen ed dorms. I’m having one of the second years that helped work on the plumbing check it out . I would ask Hatsume but I don’t want to. Not that I don’t think she knows plumbing, I’m worried she might turn their wash room into a human car wash.” Power Loader earned himself a few chuckles when he said that, but he wasn’t joking in the slightest.

“Oh and one more thing, anybody wants something from the coffee shop down the street later, my students are paying.” He pulled out the 4500 yen he had confiscated from Sero earlier.

Back in the cafeteria Midoriya had just gotten his tray of food and started walking towards the tables. 

A certain girl saw him walk and thought of an idea. ‘Maybe I should invite him to eat with me, then I can talk to him.’ She was going to tap his shoulder and invite him, then suddenly.

“Hey Midoriya, you can come sit over here” Testutestu had said out loud waving his arm through the air. Midoriya gladly follows.

A certain girl was disappointed she wasn’t able to invite him. ‘Maybe next time’ she thought to herself as she walked to another table.

Midoriya sat down. “Thanks for inviting me””No problem”

They were soon joined by Kaibara, and Awase.

“Midoriya, I still want to thank you again, all though are you still feeling any pain?” Kaibara ask after he had sat down.

“Oh, she just gave me pain killers and ointment, speaking of I do need to go get more from her when class is over” he took a bite of his food.

Awase sled next to Midoriya again and whispered into his ear. “Hey aren’t you classmates with Yaoyorozu?” Midoriya nodded since he had food in his mouth.

Awase blushed and whispered. “D-do you by chance have her number?” Midoriya was confused. Why would he want her number?

“Don’t mind him, believe it or not he had a crush on your classmate” That made Awase cheeks go slightly more pink.

“Sh-shut up” he was nearly frustrated. “He has ever since the training camp when he saved her from that thing called a Nomu and her -””I SAID SHUT UP OR I’LL WELD YOU ASS TO YOUR SEAT” Awase slammed his hands on the table, this gave them a few stares.

“He will, and you know he has before so don’t make him mad” Tsuburaba, who was passing by heard the whole thing and warned Kaibara, cause he knew Awase was capable of welding him to his seat.

Midoriya was still processing that Awase had a crush on Yaoyorozu. Even if he calms down, he probably won't just hand out her number.

Things are going to be interesting in 1-B.

Monoma did end up sitting with Iida, Ururaka, Ashido, Asui, and Todoroki. They were willing to tolerate him. He sat at the end of the table staring at his tray eating in silence.

“Please let us get to know you better Monoma, after all Aizawa wants us to let you in, isn’t that the whole point of you and Midoriya switching” Iida noticed Monoma’s silence.

Monoma didn’t say a word and just kept eating. 

“Come on, just open up to us, we won't bite.” 

“I have nothing to say to you scoundrels, I just have to wait until I get back to the superior class, my cla-” he was cut off when he heard someone nearby yelling, it sounded like Awase.

After that, he just kept eating. ‘Don’t know what that was about but at least he’s not going crazy’ they all thought to themselves, and just kept eating and talking to each other.

“Alright, now get your hero suits, today we will be doing rescue training ground gamma” 

The students have gathered their briefcases and headed to the locker room.

They hoped Monoma would at least get along in heroics.

Chapter Text

The students were all suited up and were in ground Gamma ready for training. They would be training in a different area than class 1-B were earlier that day.

Aizawa had arrived to give them their lesson plan, bringing a large box. “All Might won’t be here for today's training exercise, so it’ll just be me. Anyway, today we are doing rescue training. There’s ten mannequins hidden within the faux city, you’ll be in teams of four. Once you have gotten them, take them back to where you were for it to count as a rescue. Each team will have fifteen minutes to save ten civilians.”

He moved the box in front of him facing it towards the students. “As usual, we’ll be deciding teams by drawing from this box, and we’ll go in order of each team. Whoever wants to draw first, feel free to come forward.”

Each student had drawn their numbers and got into their teams.

Team one had three members and was missing their fourth. The three were Ashido, Ururaka, and Koda.

“All right, just like the joint training,” Ashido said with excitement. Ururaka just rubbed the back of her head, or helmet. “Well almost, although we are missing one more, I wonder who it can be?” Koda nodded and looked to see who could be the fourth member in their team.

“Oh, well I guess I can make this work” an unknown voice said close to them, they looked where it could have come from and saw and they didn’t want to see.

Monoma was walking towards them, having a cocky grin on his face. “I knew I would be working with class A today, but I never expected it to be against two of the team members I lost to in the joint training.”

All three had an annoyed look on their faces, not even one minute yet he’s starting something.

“I knew we lost by hair, and we would have won if your out of control green member didn’t spawn a new power out of nowhere we would have won, and draw against you making class B the supe-” he was cut off by a scarf wrapping around his mouth and neck, “That’s enough” Eraserhead not wanting to deal with Monoma antics, just decided to do what he did yesterday.

He let go a second later. “All right we have the first team. Head over to the designated location and we will begin shortly.” 

While making their way over, Monoma decided not to head straight to the site, but instead have a chat with a few members of class 1-A. 

“Normally people say to wish us luck. But we won’t need that since this team has a member of class B” he placed his hands on Bakugo’s shoulder, who then immediately swatted it away.

“DON’T TOUCH ME COPY CAT FREAK” he yelled but Monoma wasn’t scared in the slightest. Instead he just smirked and walked backwards.

“Just know, I’m only helping part of your class cause I will get graded on this too, not because I want to, I still believe my original class is superior.” He kept walking even, poke Kirishima’s hair a bit.

At the site, they were trying to form a plan, Monoma on the other hand wasn’t listening to what they had to say.

Soon a loud horn came, which meant it was time to begin.

Ururaka looked determined. “All right Koda, just like we planned” Koda nodded and whistled. A pigeon came and flew onto his hand.

“All right, I need you to scout out for some mannequins” before he could send the pigeon away to do its task Monoma intervened. He walked next to Koda and put his hand on Koda’s shoulder.

“There’s no need to only send out one. What you should be doing is yelling out the command into the sky so that every bird in the air is able to hear and obey your command. Cause with only one we’ll be stuck here waiting until it comes back and whoever is in need of rescue could suffer fatality from us waiting” he said walking away with his back turned to his teammates.

In the observation area people were thinking about what he said.

“I don’t want to admit it but it’s true, he should be commanding more than one bird so that he can have multiple scouts at once” Iida said with a few signature hand chops.

“Yeah back Koda doesn’t talk a lot. Let alone yell, so he could be nervous to yell out his commands.” Jiro had said, staring at the screen.

“Of course you could order it to let any other birds know, and to assist with the search, but now instead of trying to redo and avoid that mistake let us try my first idea. COME BIRDS OF THE SKY AND LEND US YOUR ASSISTANCE” upon saying that, every bird that was nearby, including the one that was on Koda’s hand had flown away.

Monoma stood there shocked.

“HA HA HA”  Almost everyone was laughing back in the observation area.

“Oh man, that's rich. At first he was giving Koda advice, then he scared them all away.”

“I know, did he try to copy Koda’s quirk but it didn’t seem like it work”

Monoma was staring upwards dumbfounded.

“So did it not work and you just scared them or …” Ashido said, walking over to him while he just kept looking up.

“Oh, no it worked but-” he finally spoke. “So are they going to look for the mannequins?”

Koda stepped in saying, “It did work but they didn’t want to help because they think he’s crazy”

“Well, it looks like we need to go on foot to find them,” Ururaka said, stepping in.

“If we split up, maybe there’s a chance we can find them faster” Monoma walked towards her, placing his hand on her shoulder. “As much as I hate agreeing with you, I say we should, but I’m only agreeing just to prove that you needed someone from the superi-” he was interrupted by a voice on the intercom

“May I remind you that you spent nearly three minutes just standing there, if this was a real scenario some people in need to saving would have died by now, quit wasting time” none of them knew that Aizawa activated his quirk when finishing his sentence but they felt it in his voice even thru the intercom.

“Alright Koda you’re with me, you two go and look” Ururaka said in a panic and started running in a random direction. Soon Koda followed.

“What gives her the right to order me?” Monoma asked with a smug on his face. “Just come on,” Ashido said, dragging him along.

They were running through the mock city in a random direction like Ururaka and Koda did, except they had no idea where they were running or even where the mannequins could be.

“We need to look around, see if you can spot any mannequins,” Ashido said while observing the area.

“Looks like we need to get higher ground.” Before she could ask what he meant she heard some explosions behind her, she turned around and saw that he was using Bakugo’s quirk in an attempt to fly.

Back in the observation area, a certain ashy blond looked mad at what he was seeing.

“Why is that copy cat freak using my quirk to help him win this,” he popped a few small explosions in his hand. “I’ll show him what it means to use my explosions”

He tried popping a few more in his hand, but couldn’t activate his quirk. “No you’re not. You’re going to stay here and watch what they do”

Bakugo was still frustrated, but kept his composure, lowered his hand and kept watching the match.

Monoma on the other hand was doing his best to balance himself in the air. He knew he could fly with this quirk, but he didn’t know how to balance himself while using it considering how much power he would have to use. 

While in the air he tried to look as best as he could for mannequins, but had accidentally set off a stronger explosion than the other he had made and was sent higher unexpectedly.

Afterwards he came crashing down, and fall face first onto the ground.

Back in the observation area. Bakugo was smiling and pleased with what had happened.

‘Serve you right copycat freak. Don’t think you can use my quirk better than me’

Monoma was picking himself up. Upon that he learned that there was more backlash to using Explosions than he thought. “It’s no wonder he’s in a bad mood all the time, my hands are cramping from using his quirk” Monoma whispered to himself, rubbing his hands.

“Monoma, are you good?” Ashido asked, running towards him.

“I’m fine, but I spot several in that direction” he pointed finger towards where he was talking about. 

“Great let’s go” Ashido ran towards the direction he pointed at. Monoma picked himself up and followed.

Meanwhile, back with Koda and Ururaka they were still running, searching for any mannequins in need.

‘Wait, why did I choose this direction, dang it I panicked and just went for any direction, I should be scouting right now instead of running’ she scolded herself in her head.

However a pigeon had flown by them and was right next to Koda. It gave Koda a few ‘ruus’ and flew off.

“He said he wanted to help just not with Monoma around, and keep going in this direction””Right” they did as the pigeon suggested and sure enough, they found two mannequins. Both were stuck in the pipes.

Ururaka used her quirk to float away some of the pipes and was able to get them out in no time, and ran back to where they had started.

Back with Monoma and Ashido they had just found three mannequins. Two were stuck in the pipes as well, while one had a few barrels on top of it.

“Leave this to someone from the superior class” . Soon he touched the barrels that were on top of the mannequin and they started floating. This confused Ashido for a second before her brain clicked. “You copied Ururaka’s quirk didn’t you?” she asked.

Monoma just smirked as he dragged and picked up the mannequin.”Should be obvious, but no matter, you should be more worried about those two right there” he pointed at the other two mannequins.

“Right,” Ashido ran towards the other two and shot some acid both above and below, making sure none of them were to hit either of them.

Monoma was surprised at how she handled it. Ashido was able to retrieve one mannequin but the other had its arm stuck in between two pipes. She pulled it but had no budge.

Monoma walked up to her clapping. “That was quite the show you put on, however you shouldn’t try to force it’s arm out, if it were a civilian you may have caused more harm to them, try using a low amount of acid like this” he touched her real quick and put both of his hands on the pipes that the mannequins had it’s arm stuck in between, but nothing happened.

Back in the observation area a lot of them were laughing again. “First Koda now Ashido.””Right he keeps lecturing them but nothing he said works for him”

Ashido was confused about what just happened. Monoma just looked at his hand and went straight to a conclusion.

“Does your body stockpile on acid inorder for you to use it?” his question confused her until he cleared it up. “During the joint training, when I tried to copy your green classmate's quirk it came up as a blank for me. The main reason was his quirk also involves stockpiling. And your quirk has come up as a blank for me as well.”

He sighed and put his hands back where they were. “No matter, … I’ll just uh work with ehh what I got” he managed to use his hands to rip and separate the pipes. When Ashido saw his hands she knew how he was able to do it. 

“That’s Kirishima’s quirk, how did you get it he’s not here neither is Bakugo?” Monoma pulled the mannequin out and turned towards her. “I copied your classmates' quirk right before coming to the match, now grab the one and lets go” he began running back to the area, Ashido grabbed the other mannequin along with the one she had and followed.

Soon they came back and saw Ururaka and Koda had brought two of their own.

“All Right half way done, we just need to save five more” as she said that, a pigeon came and flew to Koda. “Uh I see so my command did work, didn’t it?” he snapped his fingers to his own enjoyment thinking he was able to command the pigeon.

“Not exactly,” this shocked Monoma and he stood there surprised. “This one still thinks you’re crazy” he listened to the pigeon.

When the pigeon excused itself, Koda told them what the pigeon told him. “There’s two more in that direction, and three there” he pointed at each direction he told them. “Great let's go” Ururaka ran towards one of the directions he was talking about. “I’ll follow through with you” Monoma then ran after Ururaka.

“Surprisingly, he’s willing to work with us, come on let's go” after Shido said that she and Koda ran towards the other direction. 

It didn’t take long for them to find two of them. Just like before one had its arm stuck between pipes. Except this time she tried to copy what Monoma did. She held it’s arm with one of her hands and used her other to send small amounts of acid to melt the pipe. It worked, and she was able to safely get it out. 

They soon got the other mannequin and ran back to take it to take both of them to safety.

Ururaka soon found the other mannequins Koda was talking about.'Those two here, the third one should be around here somewhere' while she was thinking to herself she heard footsteps from behind her, she turned and saw Monoma coming towards her. “Good you’re here. I found the other two, let's hurry up and get them as fast as we can so we can find the third one.” Monoma smirked a bit at what she said.

“Incorrect we need to rescue these three and hurry up” Ururaka was confused at what he said, because she was clearly looking at two.

“No we need to take care of these two first before we can find the third one. There's only two here, see one, two” she pointed at where both mannequins where at, but then Monoma pointed up and said “Three”

Ururaka looked up, and sure enough there was one. It was stuck underneath a large crate, but that wasn’t the worst part. It was leaning towards the edge, and if that box wasn’t there and if this was real, then someone would fall to their death.

Monoma just walked towards the one that looked like it was the most in danger. “There’s no need to worry about it, take care of these two, I on the other hand will take care of the one that needs it the most” ‘I won’t be using his power again, although it might not be that useful. And I might have dropped it after copying the pink one’s quirk, but no matter’ he thought to himself.

Soon he touched himself and then started floating upwards. Ururaka looked slightly surprised. ‘Wait, is that my quirk? What am I doing, I need to save these two’ she thought to herself and went to save the other two.

While Monoma was floating midair he started coming up with a strategy. ‘If I float that crate away, then the mannequin will fall, and that would be the worst scenario to come out of this. But maybe if I use it on both then they will both float away, unless’ he was thinking to himself until he thought of what to do.

When he reached it he touched the mannequin, and sure enough most of its body was floating around. Then he grabbed its arm and touched the crate. He pulled the mannequin towards him as quickly as he could before it could float away. 

He then kicked the crate away, and when he was able to find somewhere with stable footing, he released Ururaka’s quirk and started making his way down. 

Ururaka had already saved one and was almost done saving the other one when Monoma had come back. “Perfect, let me take care of this one and let’s go” she then got the other mannequin. 

Soon they both went over to where they had started and saw Koda and Ashido with the other two. 

They set those five down with the other and heard a horn go off. “With five minutes left to spare, this exercise is complete, well done team 1”

Ururaka and Ashido were jumping in excitement that they had finished. “We did it,” Ururaka said cheerfully. “Yeah, good job everyone, and you too Monoma” Monoma just turned his back to her and said, “Don’t ruin this moment for me class A by thanking me, I only helped out cause I had to”

They all stopped being cheerful and just stared at him ‘And he’s back’ they all thought to themselves.

Chapter Text

The team had lined up for their post match critique. “All right, time for your critique. After seeing what I saw I give you four, a six and a half out of ten” This shocked them all. “But sir, may I ask why?” Ururaka asked, still confused and wondering why it was so low.

“I was just about to get to that part. First off was with you Monoma, you did behave well but there were still some flaws. When you were trying to give Koda advice, you ended up sabotaging him in the process when you tried giving commands to the birds. Then there was you Ururaka, you have gotten better but when I told you all to stop wasting time you were in a panic and decided to just run in a random direction without knowing where you were going and if you would find what you were looking for,” they were both taken aback to his statement. “Then there was you, Ashido, when one of the mannequins' arm was stuck you decided to try to yank it out at first before Monoma stepped in. If this was real then you definitely would have caused more pain.”

They all stood there silently realising their mistakes and hoping to do better next time. “Koda you on the other hand, I say you were the all star of the match. When the pigeon returned after what Monoma did, you helped guide your team to rescue, and by then each of you three were able to bounce back from your mistakes. All though you still have more to learn and this clearly shows it. Dismissed” he walked off and soon they all joined with the rest of 1-A.

Some members of 1-A were still giggling at Monoma’s failure. “Dude what was that you did with Koda’s quirk? At first you were giving him advice then you missed up on what you said” Kaminari and Sero giggled. Although Kaminari was upset on the inside cause if Bakugo didn’t get mad in class then he would have had 4500 yen later, if they even still had that yen though.

“Sero, Kaminari. It is not right to laugh at one's failure, considering he helped out and made a fine effort,” Iida said with a few signature hand chops, then he turned to Monoma with a smile and said, “ well done Monoma. I would use your hero name but I don’t know it. However you did quite well in this exercise” 

Monoma didn’t thank him, instead he walked off and said. “It’s Phantom Thief. But I don’t need you to ruin this moment for me by thanking me class A,”

‘You’re technically in class A too’ a lot of students thought to themselves.

Monoma on the other hand just stopped and turned around with a smirk, “ although I can’t deny that some of your quirks came in handy for this exercise. But this doesn’t mean anything between us” as he turned he heard someone walking towards him.

“Hey copycat,” Bakugo who was still displeased with how he used his quirk. “ don’t think you can borrow my quirk and use it better than I can, try it again and I’ll blast you to hell” he popped a few small explosions in his palm.

Monoma smirked, turned his back to him and said, “I won’t be doing that any time soon, out of all the quirks I used in this exercise, the only use for yours was scouting, nothing else came from benefitting it” and walked off.

Bakugo was even more pissed off now. “What did you say?” he tried to walk to Monoma to give him a piece of his mind, but was stopped after he was wrapped in a scarf.

“What did I say about being on your best behavior?” Bakugo quit trying to struggle and stopped in his tracks. Aizawa released his quirk and the boy from his scarf. “Anyways next team the ground is set up for you, head there immediately”

The other team walked off to their designated area. 

Throughout the exercise, Monoma was watching to see what quirks he could use their quirk, improve it, and maybe ways he could use better than the scoundrel the user.

The exercise soon ended with Monoma taking a few mental notes on quirks he can, and can’t use while he’s in 1-A for the time being.

“All right, go to the locker room, change and head back to class, there is still an announcement that needs to be made” Aizawa said as the class went to the locker rooms to change back into their school clothing.

There was just nothing but silence in the boys locker room, no one wanted to say anything since Monoma would probably just scoff it off and say something among the lines of his class being the superior class.

Once in class everyone made it to their respective seats, Aizawa had just come in and walked up to the podium for his announcement.

“All right before I excuse you to the dorms here’s my announcement, since you all know that Monoma will be with us for a month, he probably has no idea where the 1-A dorm rooms are, my announcement was just if someone is willing to volunteer to escort him to the dorms so he can get settled in.” His announcement was nothing major, everyone didn’t know what to make of it, but no one wanted to escort him because of how he acts.

However there was one person that was willing to do so no matter what. “I shall be the one, ” Iida had both raised his hand and stood up from his chair. “ as class rep I shall guide my classmates even if they are temporary, so let me be the one wh-” he was cut off by Aizawa who said, “I just needed a yes from you that is all, please sit down” Iida then sat in his chair and didn’t say another word.

“Alright with Iida escorting him that will be all for today, Monoma your stuff is outside the dorm you’ll be staying in for the time being, you’ll be on the fifth floor with us,” ’It’s a good thing I didn’t put him on the same floor with Bakugo’  “ is that ok with you?” he asked the blond boy.

Monoma didn’t say a thing, just nodded.

“All right, with that being said, you’re all excused for the day, and I’ll see you tomorrow.” The underground hero walked out of the classroom, and soon all the students gathered their things and started heading out. 

“Monoma please follow me” Iida said with a smile to try to ease Monoma’s mood. “I could have just walked with the rest of you, but I can make this work” he said.

 ‘Well at least he is willing to let me do this for him’ Iida thought to himself and they made their way over to the 1-A dorms.

Meanwhile in class 1-B

Vlad had just finished his lesson plan and was about to make a similar announcement.

“Now before I let you go for the day, I would like for one of you to escort Midoriya to the 1-B dorms since he will be with us for a while. Midoriya, your stuff is outside your new dorm room, and you’ll be on the fourth floor while you with is” The blood hero said, and the green hair student nodded.

“Alright now who here will like to escort him”

“ME, LET ME DO IT” Testutestu said with a lot of enthusiasm, and just like with Iida he stood up from his chair a split second after Vlad had finished talking.

“Please sit down and calm yourself, “ he did what he was told, and a certain girl was displeased with how quick he was. ‘How did he do that so fast?’ she thought to herself.

“Alright, with that being said, you’re all excuse for the day and I’ll see you all tomorrow” he walked out of the classroom. Testutestu walked up to Monoma’s Midoriya’s desk and asked him, “All right, ready to go?” 

“Yes, but I need to go to Recovery Girl office first to pick up some pain killers.” Both boys walked out of the classroom and made their way to Recovery Girls office.

When they made it there she was waiting for Midoriya to tell him about his medication, she walked up to him and said “Oh good your here let me explain, “ she grabbed a tube and a carton with pills in them and said, “Take two of these twice a day after you eat, and rubbed this on the area where it hurts. You should be fine in the next two to three days” she put the stuff in a bag and gave it to the boy.

He smiled when taking it and said. “Thanks Recovery Girl” and made his way out of her office.

Testutestu was waiting outside of her office for him, when he made his way out they made their way over to 1-B dorms.

What they didn’t know was that a certain girl was following them and sneaked a few glances at them, mainly Midoriya. ‘The dorms, there I’ll talk to him even if it’s a quick hello’ she made her way over to 1-B dorms before they could as fast as she could hoping to talk to the green hair boy even if just for a bit.

Chapter Text

She made it back to the dorms before Midoriya or Testutestu arrived. ‘Just act casual when he gets here’. “You ok shroom , did you run?” Kinoko asked. “Yeah, I just need to really use the bathroom” she went up to the bathroom not to use it, but to make Kiniko believe her.

Midoriya and Testutesu arrived shortly after. “Well here we are, class B’s dorm” they soon walked inside. Midoriya didn’t know what to expect; it looked exactly the same as class A’s, just with a B on the outside.

Several students were inside whether they were hanging out talking to one another, or making food for themselves. Some of them noticed them walking in.

Several of the girls were sitting in one area of the common room talking to each other. They noticed them walking in, and decided to greet them, especially since Midoriya didn’t get to meet everyone today.

“Hey Midoriya, sorry for not saying it earlier but welcome to 1-B” Kendo got up and said with a smile. “Yo freckles, hope you're feeling ok” Tokage gave a little peace sign from the couch. Kodai just looked up, raised her hand and gave him her signature “Hm” . They knew that was her way of saying ‘Hello’. Shiozaki looked at him with a concerned look, “Your body is a temple Midoriya, please don't put yourself in harm's way next time.” He nodded at her for her concern. “Your stunt was indeed frightening, but it is elegant that you seem to be fine” Yagani said looking up from her phone.

He nodded at them, “It was a pleasure to meet with all of you” he said, but when he turned he saw someone close by which was Pony. “ Hi there uh - sorry, I mean hi” She was embarrassed because she spoke english at first, but forgot that the guy in front of her doesn’t know english. “ Oh, you’re the American student aren’t you? ” nevermind, he does know english.

Pony was a bit excited that she could speak her fluent language to him. “ Wow, you speak English too, that’s awesome. Only three people here know it ” she said in English. “ Yeah, I learned it from watching clips of All Might in America, who are those other three by the way? ” he asked. “ Juzo, Setsuna, and also Neito, but he’s not here, but it’s great that you can speak it too, great for me at least although I can’t deny, my Japanese has gotten better throughout my time” she switched languages mid sentence. 

Midoriya smiled at her, “That’s great to hear, I’ll talk to you later I just need to go get set up in my dorm here,” he replied to her back in Japanese, “Ok then” Pony said in Japanese this time with a nod. 

And with that Testutestu showed him the stairs and guided him to the fourth floor of the 1-B dorm building.

Back with the girls, they all watched him talk to Pony and walk towards the stairs and went back to talking to each other, besides them a certain girl was cheering on the inside. ‘I did it, I talked to him’ 

She was cheerful until she looked at Pony who had sat back down with them. ‘Although he was hitting it off with her, but she doesn’t know that much about him, wait neither do I. I need to get close to him, Pony just did it right off the bat’ she was slightly panicking on the inside.

Komori had just walked to them, and noticed her being a bit off. “Are you sure you’re ok shroom you seemed a bit off” she wondered. “Yeah, I’m fine”

Iida had just walked Monoma to 1-A dorm building, both students were standing outside.

“Here we are,” he said in a cheerful attitude, “class 1-A dorms” he motioned his hands towards where the building was standing, Monoma on the other hand just didn’t say a thing and walked inside, this shocked Iida as he just stood there with his hands still up.

Some of the other students had just come by. “You know I’m surprised he has never walked here in the middle of the night and started mocking us” one of them said as they all started walking.

When Monoma entered the building, he walked where the common area was, there were already students there either hanging out, or watching TV. He looked around and noticed the same thing as Midoriya. “Not much different here, the layout looks the same as class B’s dorm” 

“Well not so sure other people rearranged stuff around in their dorms” Jiro said from the couch.

“Well, not much here for me, where’s your elevator?””It’s right there” Jiro pointed out where it was. Monoma turned towards it and started making his way. “Great I’m going to go unpack” 

“Wait don’t you want some assistance while you’re settling in” Monoma didn’t stop, or turn around, he just kept on going, “No thanks” and soon he went off to the fifth floor.

While in the elevator, Monoma just had his best poker face, but on the inside he was laughing. ‘Just you wait class 1-A, I may not be with my class for now, but while I’m here, I’ll dig deep into your secrets and weaknesses and when I go back to the superior class, we’ll use them to take you all down’ soon the elevator opened, he walked down the hall to see boxes in front of a room. “I guess this is where I’ll be staying.”

He soon brought each box into his temporary room and got settled in.

Midoriya walked up the stairs to the fourth floor, he excused Testutestu a while ago, thinking he could be fine once the reached the forth floor. Although he was in slight pain because of what happened during heroics. He knew once he settled in to take the prescription Recovery Girl gave him. 

“Pain is still getting to you huh?” he didn’t know who that was, but he turned around and the first thing he saw was someone with no lip. He was surprised to see that even though he knew that's how that guy looked like that.

“Wow easy, sorry if I scared you” Midoriya didn’t say much, just looked at the guy. “Yeah, I know my face can be a bit eerie, I have gotten used to people staring at me, or giving me weird looks a long time ago. Even when the school year started the same thing happened.”

Midoriya felt sorry for what he had said. “S-sorry, I-i didn’t mean to stare at you, it was just surprising that you were there, I didn’t think anyone else was coming to the same floor as me” he apologized and explained in a panic.

“Well you don’t know whose room is on which floor so I’ll give you that, but calm down, I don’t find it rude, it just the backlashes of my quirk that I’m like this” 

“I can’t say I relate to much,” he definitely can’t, only the opposite way since he didn’t grew up with a quirk, “ but why would people do such of thing, quirks are nearly two hundred years old, and yet people know that there are going to be mutations or changes to a person's body because of their quirk, but that doesn’t make them a monster or villain cause there still no different than being human.” He said this to hope to cheer him up.

“I like the way you think, I hope a lot of people have that mind set, I’m Juzo Honenuki by the way” he introduced himself. 

“I’m Izuku Midoriya,” after he said his name a notebook spawned into one of his hands. ‘Where was he hiding that?’ “I hope you don’t find this weird but, do you mind if I ask you a few questions about your quirk?” 

“I don’t see why not” he shrugged his shoulders agreeing to this.

“Thanks, now you quirk basically allows you to turn stuff into quicksand? I only saw it at the sports festival and joint training” he said.

“Close to it but not quite. My quirk is called Softening, it allows soften any non living object I touch at will.” Midoriya wrote that down as fast as he could. “Is there a time limit to your quirk? What’s your range? Is there a limit to how many things you can soften? Can you get trapped under stuff you soften if they solidify again?” He didn’t look up from his notebook to ask those questions.

“There is no time limit, in order for it to go back I need to touch them again. I am not so sure how far I could spread my softening, the farthest I’ve gone was 500 meters.There is no limit to that either, so I can soften as many things as I possibly can. And for the last one, I can if I’m not careful enough. Even on other people they can get trapped” He wasn’t bothered one bit and answered all of his questions.

“Amazing, your quirk can be used to easily apprehend villains trying to escape or gigantic villains, I think even you can give Mount Lady trouble” Honenuki smiled at the praise.

“I know it can be good for capturing, I almost had two of your classmates in the joint training, and I even did it on some of my classmates. But Mount Lady, depends on how fast she is moving, and how heavy she is when she’s giant, but I think I can get her”

Midoriya smiled and kept writing stuff down as fast as he can. “Amazing,” he commented. “It’s no wonder you’re a recommended student, I look forward to seeing more of your quirk in action” Juzo smiled ”Thanks for the praise, I just hope you take it easy though,” then he walked off waving goodbye.

“Please listen to him,” he heard the voice of someone else, and it was female, and turned and saw Yui Kodai standing behind him.

“Wah,” he stepped back in shock, “ sorry you surprised me” she just walked a bit closer to him. “It’s ok, but please be careful, I don’t like seeing people get hurt”

“I’m sorry, I know I scared everyone, but I had to do something,” he realised that he was still holding his notebook and decided to ask her some questions.”Uh, do you mind telling me about your quirk a bit?”

She didn’t respond immediately, she just stared and her expression didn’t change a bit, “Ok” until she spoke. “My quirk is called Size, allows me to manipulate the size of any non living objects, I need to use all of my fingers in order for it to work” 

‘Just like Ururaka’ “Is there a time limit to the objects you use it on.” “Mm mm” she shook her head. “Is there a limit to how many objects you can change” “Mm mm” she shook her head again. “How do you change stuff back to normal”

She didn’t tell him how, instead she took her case off of her phone, and expanded it in size. She set it down and brought her fingers together, “Release” and her phone case shrunk back to its normal size. She picked it up and put it back on her phone.

Midoriya looked amazed, ‘Definitely activates like Ururaka’s quirk’ he wrote down what he saw. “So for it to work you must think of ‘Big’ or ‘Small’ and how long you want them to be” “Mm hm’ she nodded this time.

Her quirk was pretty simple, yet it still amazed Midoriya, he just kept writing stuff down. “I think you can make great support, or on your own, I could help you come up with new moves if you’re interested” Yui expression didn’t change at all unlike Honenuki. “That’d be nice, I’ll keep that in mind” she also walked off.

Midoriya closed his notebook and got to bringing his stuff into his temporary new dorm.

Monoma was probably 80 percent done unpacking, until he heard a knock at the door and footsteps walking away.

When he opened the door, there was no one there, but when he looked down he saw a tray of food and a note attached to it.

“We didn’t know if you wanted to come down to eat dinner. So we brought you a plate to eat in your room” after that he put the note into his pocket and brought his food inside his temporary dorm.

‘ Well I can’t deny that it was nice of them wait what am I thinking’ he thought to himself, he took a few bites and wouldn’t deny that the food tasted good. ‘I wonder who made this?’

“Are assure you we should have told him to come down and eat with us so we could bond with him” Iida said standing up doing a few hand chops. “Yeah but he didn’t talk to us during lunch so why would he now ribbit ?”

“Plus we already put it to a vote, bring him his food and eat in peace, or hear him go on and on about us” class A just kept eating after that, along with Sato coming from the stairs after leaving food for Monoma.

Midoriya had moved a few boxes into his temporary dorm but was still feeling pain. He stepped outside to grab another box, then he felt a tap on his shoulder, he looked and saw no one there so he went back to getting the box.

After picking it up he felt another tap on his shoulder, turned around to see no one again. ‘Is another quirk manifesting, please not now.’ 

He felt another tap and when he turned around this time he did see something. He didn’t know what to expect but he didn’t expect to see a floating hand above him, the hand just waved at him and started floating to its owner.

There he saw someone who also had green hair, Setsuna Tokage. “Sorry for teasing you, I just really like messing with people” she had walked up to him to say that. Midoriya didn’t know how to react, since there was a girl who was just teasing him right in front of him.

“Oh um … its ok, did you just come to do that” that was the only response he came up with. “No I bunk on this floor too, then I saw you and I thought ‘why not’ so that’s why” she responded not sounding offended by his responce.

“Ok then” he went back to what he was doing but she never left. When Midoriya turned around he saw a floating box close to his face. “Wah” he was surprised. “Whoops sorry didn’t mean to scare yah,” she giggles “ but that was funny.” Midoriya didn’t know how to respond. “Uh why are you-””Don’t worry about it Greenie, I figured I helped you out since you still might be in pain” She said, setting the box down and having her hands reattached to her.

“Oh well thank you…wait Greenie?” “Yeap, you got green hair just like me, sorry I like giving my classmates nicknames” she giggled again. 

They both got the boxes into his room as quickly as they could. After that Midoriya opened the bag that Recovery Girl gave him. “So the medications she gave you?” “Just some pain killers and ointment” he set both on a night stand and collapsed onto his temporary bed.

“Easy there big guy, something bothering you?” she asked,Midoriya isn’t sure why she stayed though. “This just feels weird, being in a whole new class surrounded by different people, just feels like I transferred schools mid way through the trimester, I don’t know anything about you or your classmates” he told her.

“Well just relax greenie, I’m sure Monoma is feeling something similar, maybe? But don’t worry, not all of us are as bad as Monoma, I mean I heard Testutestu already let you in so there’s a start” Midoriya did cheer up a bit from that response “Yeah, I guess you’re right”

She sat next to him on the bed, “So don’t worry your green head, we don’t bite” she then detached her face and floated close to his. “Except me, don’t make mad cause I might do something I regret.” Midoriya blushed because she was ‘Too close’ yeah that, what he thought.

“Uh I uh, I won’t try to make you mad” Tokage just moved her face away from his and started laughing, “Oh man, I’m just kidding greening I won’t bite, not unless you want me to” she wink which caused him to blush more. “I’m kidding,” she said jokingly.

She then got up from the bed and made her way to the door. “Well I’ll get out of your hair, maybe you should take your medication” Midoriya then sat up from the bed to talk to her. “I will, thank you for your help.

She put up two fingers as a peace sign again.”No problem,” she opened the door and took a step out, but didn’t quite leave just yet, “Oh by the way, I didn’t just teased you caused I thought why not, I did it cause your cute” 

Midoriya blushed again, turned just as red as a tomato, Tokage laughed and then left.

Right after she left Midoriya’s face was still red. After a while he felt his phone buzzed, he check to see who it was, and it was All Might.

All Might : I am Here, thought the other side of the screen sending messages.

All Might : Young Midoriya, I am just as aware of the class switch as the other staff members.

All Might : But that doesn’t mean we’ll delay your quirk training. We still need to get it under control. And I still need to do some research.

He was referring to Black Whip and the other quirks that should manifest later on. They agreed to not say anything about One for All through online, in case it were to somehow get leaked.

All Might : We just need to make a few adjustments, I’m sure your new classmates we’ll be alright helping you if you ask.

All Might : And one more thing, I heard during training.

All Might : Please be more careful my boy. 

All Might : You know what happened to me and you don't want end up like that, not while you still have your youth, please be more careful, that is all

Midoriya put his phone down and went to change his clothes, after he took off his school uniform he started rubbing some of the ointment on him. All though what Tokage had told him was still processing though his mind.

Monoma had finished packing and eating a while ago, he left the tray back out so whoever brought it could take it back, not sure why he didn’t go himself, he’s in a dorm not in a hotel.

He just laid on his bed scrolling through his phone. ‘It's still pretty early, I should sleep later, but what is there to do while I’m with the scoundrels’ he thought to himself as he kept scrolling.

Once Tokage got back to her room, she just laid on her bed as happy as she could be.

‘I man, his blush got me, it was adorable.’ She was happy she got to talk to him again. ‘I don’t know if I should tease him some more while he’s here, what am I thinking of course I should’ she just kept smiling and thinking of ways to tease him.

‘The real question should be should I tease him more or less when I make him mine, but I gotta do it while he’s here’
