Souls in Shards

Summary:

Based on that one tumblr post I read but with my own twst.

Let me cook.

This is based on that one TUMBLR post a saw about like the elementals being sentient, but as emotions, and the reason why Boboiboy hasn't been consumed yet was because he acknowledges that they are different and thus living with him in unison, unlike others such as Re’takka and Kira that saw it as a weapon. Like, bitch I’d try to kill the bitch who trapped me in a sword too (Hali core!!). The elementals were only lashing out to be ‘seen’ and acknowledged. Other elemental masters also didn't get consumed, probably also recognising that this power must have been sentient and one to be with.

Now. What if I make it that the elements were people, like actual aliens, gods whatever that were trapped into the different Power Spheres.?

Chapter Text

“Foolish. Wake up.” a cold and toneless voice echoed in Boboiboy’s mind as he suddenly blinked back to the present…

Recently ,after Retakka, Boboiboy has heard more voices in his head, something in his dreams, he’d find memories, memories that were not his. And as of late, maybe he may have found himself eating random things. He was told by Gopal to have eaten a battery and just walked away, Boboiboy doesn't even remember doing that!

Boboiboy focused on the mission briefing again before noticing how he kept spacing in and out, and fought to stay awake before eventually blinking and found his tablet with notes of the mission briefing and also lengthy messages from commanders.

Weird..

It didn't get any better after Boboiboy got the Voltra element back, instead, whenever he did call out for Halilintar for use, Halilintar did not respond, he did not get the lightning element to emerge.

Space?

Boboiboy opened his eyes and found himself floating in a space, and panicked. He was sure that he told Commander Kokochi that he wanted to keep his missions strictly on Earth! Not in space-!

Wait… how is Boboiboy breathing right now though? He didn't have an oxygen mask or anything…

“Hello, master.” A figure said and Boboiboy turned his head up to find a small ball of light, bouncing between asteroids of the space setting.

“Who are… Where am I?” Boboiboy asked, confused, but for some reason, this ball of light did not scare him the slightest bit.

“I’m Gamma, you know me as Solar,”  the ball of light landed in Boboiboy’s hands as it chirped.

“Solar? You… are my elemental?” he smiled gently. He expected them to look like him, considering that everytime he used the elemntals, they just assumed his form and he controlled it easily.

“Yes.”  the small ball of light said.

“Are the others here too?” Boboiboy asked.

“Of course! But, you can only come to my dreamscape because I openly trust you the most. After you saved me from Retakka, I will always trust you no matter what. Thats why I helped you with your otes as well,” The ball of light said proudly.

“My notes… oh, it was you?” Boboiboy exclaimed.

“Of course!” The ball bounced, smug and proud.

“Thank you! You totally saved me back there,” Boboiboy smiled.

“Well, good morning then, master!” the ball of light cheered and Boboiboy confusedly tilted his head and blinked and found himself in his bed.

“Boboiboy! You’ll be late!” ochobot’s voice said from outside the door.

“Ah! Coming!” Boboiboy called out, adjusting his hat as he took his towel and his toothbrush for the shower. That was weird… was it just a dream?

“Why did you do it!?” a humanoid figure grabbed the small mass of light roughly, its red hair spilling to the ground, its red sword by its hips.

“Calm down you big oaf! I do trust our Master now,” the ball of light shone and just jumped out of the red figures’ gasp.

“And all our lives trying to stay put went to waste, just like that? Hm?” the red haired figure growled.

The ball of light shifted its form and sighed, now taking the form of a small bird with a light chain around its leg.

“Voltra, maybe it's time we learn to trust the human Master. Sure, he doesn't live as long as your original Master did, but… don't you think we should cherish the chances he’s given us. I believe and trust him. With all my vacuum mass!” the bird chirped.

“Tch.”

“Ochobot…” Boboiboy called out the Power Sphere quietly.

“Yes, Boboiboy?” Ochobot asked.

“What are my elementals, exactly?” Boboiboy asked, blinking curiously.

“Well, they were formed inside Power Spheres, maybe just a large collected concentrated mass of such elements formulated into energy.” Ochobot said as Boboiboy blinked in confusion.

“Why did you ask?” the power sphere asked.

“Hm… I had a dream where I was interacted with my element, uh… the light one! Solar.”

“Weird… well, I will ask Databot about it!” Ochobot gave a thumbs up before flying away.

Chapter Text

In the empty space vacuum, the small ball of light suddenly heard the sounds of paws thudding against the rocks floating around.

“Interesting form, Balak,” the small ball of light chimed playfully as the fox rolled its eyes, standing on a floating rock in the vacuum of space.

“You know its Rimba, Gamma. Balak is soo old fashioned. Psh, I’d sound too old, too high ranking,” the fox chirped, grinning.

“You were a king.” Gamma said playfully.

“Hm, that I was. The noblest of them all.”

Boboiboy decided to take things into his own hands and researched about the elements himself. He checked TAPOPS’ libraries before eventually going to Databot.

“Databot…” boboiboy called, standing infront of the power sphere.

“How may I h-herlp?” Databot’s glitchy voice answered.

“I would like to know about my Elements, please.” he said.

“P-pl-please hold. Searching for information on ‘Elements’.” Databot answered as a loading screen appeared on its face.

“Thank you,” Boboiboy smiled, knowing it’ll take a week. He continued searching before noticing a stray book, written in a language he didn't understand in the cordoned off section (Boboiboy was desperate).

“To ascend as an Elemental Spirit, you must exhibit behaviors of said Element. For example, the element of light is the natural curiosity of how the universe works.” It read. Boboiboy grew curious when he found the translation, notes written in Malay next to the unidentifiable language.

Boboiboy made his own notes.

Lightning was the element of fear. To be scared of something trivial, but to get back, making said fear your strength. Strike fear into others hearts, but never lose your own.

Wind was the element of freedom. Letting go of what you needed most but knowing who you are. Noble but Boboiboy didn't really understand it much.

Earth was being decisive. To become a spirit, you have to choose an option that weighs the laws of your own life. Choosing your death for a noble cause, along those lines.

Fire was the element of hope. Giving hope despite your consequences and position.

Water, ironically, is the element of chaos. To ascend as an element of water, you have to wreak havoc one last time, something you’d rarely do.

Nature, is well, the element of nobility. Not naivety. To earn respect for treating others as your equals, despite and regardless of who you are, to die on the same field as your warriors or kings.

Light wasn't arrogance or being knowledgeable, as said earlier, it was to be naturally curious of the world, to find answers beneath the surfaces.

And Boboiboy does not understand them at all…

A winged figure walked from his space, and landed by a flowing ice river, the figured flames disappearing the moment he got there.

“I tend to forget sometimes your hair is shorter than it is.” The figure that emerges from the other end of the river has an elf like form.

“Do not let looks deceive you, Blizzard.” the winged humanoid said as they folded their wings. Loose fitting clothes with

“The human master is researching of us,” the oment the winged figure mentioned this, the elf is beside the winged figure immediately.

“If the human boy realises that I only ascended because–”

“Need not fret. He seems to have trouble understanding it.” the winged figure used their wing to push the elf away a little.

“Tch. Then come back if there is more urgent news.” the elf rolled his eyes before disappearing to the snow.

The winged figure just scoffed before his hair erupted again, the flow making its hair longer again.
